Love your stories about Killer - there isn't enough content with him! Could you do a story or headcanons about Killer and Kid separately having a crush on reader and the other plays as wingman?
I’m so happy you’re enjoying them! :3 There certainly isn’t enough love for Killer, which is blasphemous in my opinion. Have some headcanons about how Kidd and Killer would handle hopelessly pining for the same person, ultimately ending up wanting each other to be happy with the person after they realize what’s going on because they care for each other to a degree that exceeds the importance of their own happiness… (this is going in the prompt collection, stay tuned for more)

Killer would be far more likely to pick up on the fact that Kidd has developed feelings for you before Kidd could ever hope to figure out that Killer has taken an interest in someone. They know every little detail about one another as well as how they interact with the people they care for, but this doesn’t prevent Killer’s reserved nature from both literally and figuratively masking his thoughts of intimacy that relate to you.
It would start with Kidd letting a comment slip in passing during a conversation with Killer, maybe mentioning something uncharacteristically positive about your appearance or how well you’d met the expectations of your assigned duty onboard the Victoria Punk. Killer would agree wholeheartedly and the first few times this happens, Kidd wouldn’t catch on to the looming affections behind his tendency to agree but would certainly know something was up when Killer started adding his own praises in the mix.
Due to Kidd’s eccentric personality, I could see the pining from Killer really coming into play during meal times, parties, and breaks on islands where everyone is all together and consequentially being socially active. Kidd would undoubtedly flirt with you in his own way by hurling not-at-all serious insults, showing you whatever new component or weapon he’d been working on, and even manhandling you into the seat beside him (even on his lap in the event that there is conveniently no seat available within his direct vicinity).
Killer would never interfere with these moments for a multitude of reasons. Most notably, he has horrible self esteem and struggles with the idea of someone actually wanting him in that way, his devotion to Kidd is imminent in every situation no matter the context, and he sees how you light up every time Kidd pursues you. It’s already established that he values Kidd’s happiness over his own, but the same is extended to you. Whether it be Kidd or someone else, he would not prevent you from being with the person you were interested in. Instead, he’d make himself scarce and remain even quieter than usual. If he really didn’t want to face the scenes in front of him, he’d just stay in the kitchen or occupy himself away from the two of you.
This is where the dynamic would shift as Kidd would immediately notice the increasingly common lack of Killer. He would be accustomed to his partner’s usual silence, but his absence entirely would let Kidd know that something was up. He’d question Killer relentlessly, not letting up until Killer finally admits to having feelings for you. The moment that Kidd knows this, all bets are off. He’d be a bit hurt but he would never let Killer see that because he, exactly in the same way as Killer, would only want his partner to be happy. This also extends to you and is solidified as he realizes that you’d somehow wormed your way into both of their hearts.
Kidd would stop manhandling you and cease all teasing, he’d even distance or distract himself when possible in order to give Killer more space to approach you on his own. This would be painful for you, especially given that his affections would’ve stopped all at once, out of the blue with no elaboration on what had gone wrong. He’d even come across as a bit mean at times when he’d bark orders at you, all in an effort to try and quickly dissolve the ties that had begun to bind the two of you together. In his own mind, he’d be rectifying the damage by giving you tasks that meshed with Killer’s schedule. It would be an unnoticeable way that he could slip under the radar while ensuring you were cared for, simultaneously working to preserve the satisfaction of his partner.
This would work on Killer initially as he’d assume that your increased presence was the result of Kidd pushing himself as far away from you as possible, but he’d catch on quickly when you’d suddenly be scheduled for kitchen duty every day that wasn’t a rest day. A prompt visit to Kidd’s quarters and several words exchanged later, they’d be at a standstill. Both would be irritated that the other wouldn’t relent and pursue you as desired and just as equally irritated that because they were so thickheaded, they hadn’t considered what was best for you.
Kidd and Killer are certainly all or nothing, ride or die, especially when it comes to each other. When they begin to distance themselves from you in tandem and refuse to look you in the eye, you discuss the matter with your closest crewmates. They instruct you to corner them as when they got into these moods, there was always a bigger picture. The truth would not come out during one on one conversations. Instead, they’d vehemently deny anything being wrong and would do just about anything to get away from you. Only by forcing them into a situation where it was the three of you, would you finally get the truth.
Some deliberation would occur as to how to proceed with all of this and after a minor joke in passing referring to a poly relationship, as well as having to explain the concept when they vocalized their confusion, you’d be met with a fiercely red faced Kidd and nervous glances bouncing around the room from Killer. Neither would object to the suggestion as they’d had their own moments in the past. In the end, their partnership dynamic wouldn’t change much at all, it would just start to include you.

Ok, look I get it. The Kid Pirates look raving mad and chaotic. I don’t blame you for feeling nervous when you see one up close and personal. They’re tall, loud, violent, and brash, and their outfits! I swear to you though, Heat is by FAR the least aggressive out of ALL of them. Unless you’re an enemy, in which case Heat will roast you like a rotisserie chicken. Within the crew though? He’s the man! He looks a bit like a ghoul, but he’s a ghoul with a heart of gold. He’s Heat the Director of HR.

When he’s in work mode, Heat takes his job seriously. With Wire’s assistance, the two run ship operations on behalf of Kid and Killer. They assign tasks to the crew, keep the ship up to Kid’s standards, and handle all the micro inconveniences of being a Captain that Kid doesn’t like want to do.
Since Heat’s super power is his empathy – no, not his fire breathing though that is also very useful – he’s the person who everyone comes to talk to. Be it professional advice, personal help, talk the shit, whatever, Heat is always down to clown or just talk to people. He’s a laid back guy, bit of a people pleaser, who enjoys other peoples company for the most part; unlike his three comrades who are more introverted than him, the guy with deep scars engrained in his face and neck.
Heat loves to party. Any reason is a good one to cut loose, get drunk, over indulge in Killer’s cooking, and have fun. A pirate’s life is grueling as it is awesome, so Heat tries to live every day to the fullest. You can also attribute his laid back attitude to all the weed he smokes. He’s Wire’s best customer! Sober or not sober, Heat’s attitude is the same either way. He might have a melancholy face but the dude is the nicest son of a gun on the entire ship. He once admitted that the crew is his family and being a pirate is everything he ever wanted, that’s why he’s so happy all the time. Awww.
As talented as he is with complex feelings and crew management, Heat also has another super skill. No its still not the fire breathing. The man can do hair. Have you seen his flawless locs? He twists them himself and has been for years. He’s the unofficial hair stylist on the crew for anyone needing help dying their hair. What, you thought the baby blue was natural? HAH. His outfit of choice was of course, like everyone else on the crew, created with an assist by Wire. That’s his bro. His bro would never let him leave the house ship looking like an idiot.
Oh my gods ok enough with the fire breathing, I know you want to know! The truth is…shrugs shoulders…its just a thing he does. He doesn’t have a devil fruit power and he’s pretty positive he wasn’t cursed by a Witch. Ever since he was a wee lad, Heat has had the gift of fire breathing. It does come in handy, its saved his life plenty of times before he was a pirate and before he was a gang leader too.
No one on this ship had a happy childhood. If they had happy childhoods, do you think they’d be sailing around the world with someone who is basically their hotheaded, younger brother with a higher body count than Dracule Mihawk, and actually take orders from him? Fucking ridiculous. Everyone's emotional irregulation and anger issues means Heat's work is never done. His therapist cup runneth over.
He's the person you can relate to the most out of the top brass, the one who handles most internal conflicts within the crew that are not Boss-related incidents. Heat is compassionate but it doesn’t make him a pushover. He’s The Guy who enforced the word BOUNDARIES on the Victoria Punk just so the Captain couldn’t bully the fuck out of everyone smaller than him. Those peaceful and lull moments on the ship? Your bedroom door not being kicked down on Kid’s every whim? Yeah, thank Heat for those.
Heat's heart and soul are devoted to Kid and the crew, don't ever underestimate what he'd do or who he'd cut down to honor their pride.

between the famous names of the worst generation, the notorious captain of the kid pirates became known for his cruel and highly temperamental behavior. a glance in his direction provoked the male, the smirk on his face while murdering the ones that laughed about him and his dream almost a sadistic curve. so when one day, he suddenly started to show a tad of affection towards you while being in public, it was difficult to believe for anyone who knew the redhead. ever so often, his deep red lips puckered and connected with your forehead. a simple but sweet gesture, a peck leaving stains of his lipstick on your soft skin. for you, you loved the affection. for kid, it was a chance to promise you that he would return from anywhere, return back to you, without making a fool out of himself for stuttering through unidentified words. it also became the showcase of his love for you whenever he had a bad day and couldn’t stop the mood swings from provoking another fight. screaming orders across the deck of the victoria punk, and while stomping past you, an almost too light peck to your forehead to tell you, he was not mad at you.
trafalgar d. water law
he hated the staring eyes of people, watching closely how his hands grabbed your waist, or how your lips lingered a second too long on his. he never had to experience those longing glances or drooling faces while giving you his attention, it merely happened while fighting. but it taught him to keep his relationships behind closed doors, hiding his weaknesses for his and their own good. so law tried his best to spend time with you, without giving too much pda away. when you wanted to take a nap, he asked for you to sleep on the couch in his office while he can go over documents and books. when the blue sky above was cloudless, and the sun stretched its warmth for miles, and you decided to bath in the rays, law would take a seat in the colder shadows beside you with as always a book in his hand. you did not need to talk. when you went into town go grab bags of ingredients for the journey to the next island? don’t bother to ask anyone for company because law would already walk by your side. law was not the person to shout out his feelings, or to clearly showcase what feelings bubbled up in his stomach. yet, the emotionless facade dropped when you stepped into his sight, and the corners of his mouth lifted.
cat burglar nami
oh there was no need to lie. the temperamental orange-haired loved the glimmering, golden coins enough to call them her babies and easily switch moods if someone dared themselves to try and steal the smallest amount of her treasure. yet, being with you slightly changed her opinion about the berry hidden in her room. she loved them but nami loved you more and quickly found a good way of spending some. if by chance there would be an island where the marine soldiers would not be already waiting at the dock, the navigator used the time of not running away to stroll through the villages and towns. gathering ingredients with sanji, finding another pile of clothes with robin but most importantly, exploring the expensive jewelry shops to find a suitable gift for you. a bracelet, or maybe a necklace, even if you already had more than ten and couldn’t wear them all at once. nami always brought you a little present from the island, and hell, yes, it might have seemed like she wanted to buy your love but any given time, you would raise a brow and open your mouth when she handed you another present. nami assured you that it did not matter, your love was more valuable than any amount of berry, with a kiss to the cheek.
flame emperor sabo
as the second in command of the revolutionary army, sabo is always a busy man. running missions, bringing up plans, talking behind closed doors with the fearless leader dragon. since his schedule for private activities is cut short, sabo found a way to assure you, he thought about you and loved you dearly. the gentle touches of his slender fingers around your waist, when he had to squeeze past you, slowly and carefully pushing you aside. his arm around your waist when you stood next to each other, mostly his flat hand sprawled out on the curve of your back and drawing sweet shapes with his fingertips. while being in a conversation with him, sabo will casually reach out for you, caressing the flustered spot on the span of your cheeks. just because you're so beautiful to him, so precious and he's always asking himself how he deserves your love. it was never much of pda, mainly because sabo had to remain a respected person with the position he earned himself. in such a world filled with enemies and the marine, who worked against almost everyone who admired freedom, those little touches offered hope and happiness. especially since you were the only one who knew how warm the flame emperor’s calloused fingertips were without the brown gloves.

You can absolutely try! He's not against it but this boy will most definitely run off about two fingers in
His color of choice was a ruby red that was supposed to get a coat of silver glitter, sadly you did not make it that far
The few fingers you did get done are completely back to normal within a day from a mixture of picking and chewing at them unconsciously
Sanji!
Is absolutely enthusiastic that you asked him! Tells you to choose whatever color you love the most so he has a constant reminder of you
Most definitely gets a nose bleed the moment you touch his hand, but other than that he sits patiently
Takes extra care in the kitchen to not damage said nails, if they flake off over time he will ask you to fix them for him
Zoro!
Definitely not overly enthusiastic about it but will begrudgingly agree after an idea hits his 2 working brain cells
He will get you to paint his two middle fingers a lime green, and will exclusively use this opportunity to flip Sanji off any chance he gets
Does not last long though within a week all the polish has chipped off
Nami!
100% down, she will request to paint yours as well afterwards
The two of you will be rocking a cute tangerine orange, every couple weeks you two will sit and touch them up again together
Brook!
He will absolutely crack a bone joke about how he does not have nails to paint
Will let you paint the tips of his boney fingers though, he would ask for a shade of blue that reminds him of his dear friend Laboon
Shockingly with a protective coat the polish stays wonderfully for many werks
Robin!
Another who is very happily down and requests to do the same for you! She will make a whole event of the time, tea, and some light reading in-between coats drying
If this becomes a regular ocurance she will mix up colors between dark violet shades and deeper pinks
Jinbe!
This man is not quite sure what you are asking of him but agrees with a hearty chuckle
When you ask him to pick a color he will ask for dealers choice, he does not particularly care about the polish but enjoys the way your face lights up when he agrees
Sadly does not last long on him ask with so much swimming it is bound to break down quickly
Ussop!
Beyond down! Another to make a whole event of the time, hair, face mask, and nails
Paint his nails while he tells you beyond Preposterous stories, the self care will be going both ways that night and by the end both party's will be refreshed
He would choose a forest green and after it drys attempt to do little designs of vines and flowers on them, to a somewhat success
Kid!
You would not even have to ask, this man would run out of his own polish and ask if you had any
A bit annoyed when you ask to paint them for him but agrees under the terms that he can make the two of you match
This man is red all the way, the more like fresh blood the better, will let you once in a while spice it up with painting his middle fingers black
Killer!
God he really did not want to at first but he is a softy and will agree after he sees your disipointment
At first he thought about matching with his captain but quickly decided against that settling on a deep ocean blue
With the amount of fighting this man gets up too it does not last long, but once a week will go to you to have them fixed up
Heat!
Obsessed with the idea! Another to have an entire self care night with you
Will pick a deep firey orange with a lighter orange glitter on top, has you help fix up his dreads as each coat drys, he struggles with the ones behind his head so that where your main focus will be
Afterwards will do the same back for you choosing for your nails to half match his, instead having a sparkly blue on top
This will become a regular occurrence
Wire!
Loves the idea, he's a man of few words so things you can do together that do not put pressure on talking are his favoites
He would wants a darker purple as to complement his outfit, after you finish he would place his hand out and after a moment of confusion you'd understand this him offering to do the same for you!
He takes great care of his nails but fighting takes its damage on them, when they get too bad he will simply approach you and hold out his hand to show how chipped they are, you get the message and fix them up for him
Law!
Absolutely! ...not...
He rejects it flat out multiple times and after so long you just stop asking...
That is until one night all the crew was drinking and celebrating their latest victory, after several too many drinks he approaches you, definitely even in his intoxicated state finds himself struggling with his words to request what he wants
After a while of anxiously waiting for the captain to tell you what he wants he simply asks you to follow him, assuming you are in trouble you are shocked to find him request such a silly thing
Happily you lead him to your chambers digging around in your bag you pull out a matte black polish
The next morning he wakes with a ragging hangover on top of the shock of his nails now painted, wants to be angry but knows it looks damn good, continues to take damn good care of them as well
Penguin! & Shachi!
Okay if you ask one they will not only agree immediately but also drag the other along
Unshocking this will not be an easy endeavor, it starts off strong with the two of them dumping out every color you own digging though struggling to choose a color
Eventually they will settle on a color each, penguin having picked and icey blue and Shaci with an almost neon orange, they request you do every other finger with each color
After you finish up they do the same for you each boy taking a hand, it starts off fine but quickly turns into the two insulting each other over how messy they paint, it turns into a competition of who can paint better
Bepo!
Often you find yourself napping and relaxing with Bepo so after a while of this you mentioned the idea of painting the polar bear's claws
He is absolutely giggling and squealing at the idea, quickly requesting for the most fun color you could think of, this boy wants glitter and do not cheap out! A light icy blue base with as many rainbow sparkle coats you can muster up
He will treasure them and keep them as safe as he can but will come to you with tears in his eyes as they peel off, give this boy a huge and fix them up for him!!
Shanks!
Absolutely will but requests you sit on his lap as you do it, this man will use any sneaky trick to get what he wants but as long as you both are happy he's winning
Wants a shade of red that matches his hair, once you finish up his hand he will ask you to do the other hand, out of pure Instinct you look towards where his other hand would be as he lets out a deep vibracious laugh poking fun at you for the rest of the night
Mihawk!
We'll say no the first time you ask but if you mentioned it a few times he will eventually give in requesting the most simple soild black you can find
After you finish them he takes a moment staring at them before nodding at you and sending you on your way
Over the next few days you'll notice anytime he walks by a mirror to straighten up his outfit he will take a moment to appreciate the nails and how well they complement his look, he may not want to admit it but you can tell he is feeling himself up
Will eventually ask you to fix them up over time as he says he's grown fond of them

In public, he’ll sometimes act in ways that make it hard to believe he likes you. It’s no intentional, he just doesn’t think about it. He’s a ruthless pirate after all, and he’s gotta show it.
In private he’ll give you a little extra attention. Mostly teasing, definitely a physical-touch-as-love-language type of guy, and it’s mostly behind closed doors.
There is the rare occasion when on deck he’ll have part of his furry coat draped over your shoulders with a hand on your waist while he’s barking orders to the crew.
If anyone seems like they’re coming onto you or posing a threat, he will make it known that you’re off. Limits. Acts first, thinks later (if ever).
(Which has led to more than one instance of you just being looked at in a way that Kid didn’t like and him just going straight for the throat).
Kid prefers having you ride him. He likes watching you squirm a little trying to make him feel good.
Notably, this carries over to eating you out, but only if you’re sitting on his face and he’s got both hands on your hips to keep you there. Again, he likes watching you squirm.
K I L L E R
Quieter in the ways he shows affection. He’s also a physical touch kind of guy, but leans pretty heavily on acts of service, too.
In fact, he combos that shit. Brushing your hair out of the way when you’re cooking together. Bandaging you up after a rough battle. Pulling his button-up shirt you keep stealing right off your back so he can launder it and conveniently leave it out for you to steal again.
He especially likes just sitting with you and letting you talk his ear off. If you’re brave enough to start idly braiding bits of his hair, he’ll leave them in.
Not as quick to anger as Kid, but he’ll still loom behind you if you’re interacting with anyone he thinks will cause trouble. You have frequently had moments where you’re talking to someone only to have a shadow cast over you mid-conversation because Killer’s rolled up.
In somewhat of a contrast to his more reserved attitude, any position where he’s bending you a little out of shape or to your limits is a plus. He likes posing you like a little doll — but mating press is his favorite.
Face-down-ass-up is a close second however. He can get a little carried away and feral when he just needs to get it out of his system~

You up front and them tailing close behind, both of them effortlessly exuding the most menacing aura.
Both are protective of you in their own ways when they have you alone, but together? If Kid’s throwing hands, Killer’s throwing hands.
Unless Killer can identify whoever’s involved isn’t a threat. In which case Kid will still do a little fake-out lunge just to watch them piss their pants a little.
Kid is surprisingly willing to share you with Killer when it comes to the bedroom. Though he will taunt you the whole time, asking if you like being so full, how it feels being spitroasted, whose cock is better and you better not lie.
Afterwards you’re sleeping smushed right between them with Kid’s deafening snores and Killer’s human furnace body. You still somehow manage to get the best sleep at night like this.

─ Chopper checks on you daily, Sanji puts a glass of fresh water on the nightstand every day in case you wake up and no one is there at that moment, Luffy and Usopp will sit down to play any board game to keep you company, Zoro will take some occasional nap on the floor (chopper puts some pillows and blankets there because age doesn't forgive back pain), Nami and Robin will talk to you as if you were gossiping with them on a normal day, Brook will sing something at night so that in your sleep better, Jinbe and Franky stop by from time to time to see if you're awake.
─ Everyone's spirits fade when the second week passes with no indication that you will wake up and they think the worst, however they cling to the fact that your condition is stable, you are healthy and you are much younger than them.
─ A month later, Luffy had fallen asleep resting his hand on your shoulder, he didn't give you time to open your eyes and you already had your captain hugging you. "Hey, it's been a while, I don't even sleep that much after a good meal!"
─ You laughed confused because you obviously didn't know how long you had been out, and it didn't take long for the others to find out, you were surrounded in a big hug although Chopper scolded everyone because he still had to do one last check before letting you walk freely.
─ This team fights with everything it has and you were not going to be less, although much younger, you were much more energetic than that whole group of old men, as you affectionately nicknamed them since they sometimes called you kiddo or child.
─ The problem is that sometimes you were somewhat impulsive, and that's why you attacked too quickly. Kid smiled, seeing himself reflected in your recklessness, although he scolded you. "Don't get ahead, these guys aren't as weak as they seem."
─ You turned a deaf ear since you had advanced well in the attack, but in an instant everything had gone black for you, a fatal blow to the abdomen left you completely out of combat.
─ "Oh fuck, the kiddo is hurt, shit- like, really screwed up, needs medical attention right away!" Heat is the one closest to you and the one in charge of protecting you until the bloodbath ends, which they do more quickly.
─ Killer knows that you won't wake up today because when they sewed the wound you didn't wake up because of the pain, he knew that you were very complaining about pain of any kind despite being a teenager.
─ The tension grows as the days go by, uncertainty because you don't wake up to joke that you've knocked down more guys, they are mentally torturing themselves even though they don't let it be seen.
─ Wire will talk to you to tell you all the gossip you miss, Killer will stop by every morning before starting the day hoping to see that you are standing, Heat will sleep next to you some days and Kid will not visit as often because he is venting his discomfort in his workshop.
─ Kid has been in a worse mood the last few weeks because you were the person with the smallest hands and he needed your help with some screws that were too small, which delayed his project, he missed your annoying little presence making jokes about his old age .
─ Killer had full faith that you would wake up sooner or later because they had treated you on time, it just made him nervous not knowing when it would be, "I will make your favorite food if you wake up today…" he always said in the hope that the food would open your eyes.
─ A month later when everyone got used to the lack of a gremlin running from one place to another (they didn't get used to it, that's what they want to think), you woke up, there was no one there at that moment so you got rid of all the cables, feeling good.
─ "Hey child- holy shit! you're awake, hey- what are you doing up?! You need to get checked before you walk around again" "I'm fresh as a lettuce captain! I can't say the same for you… but uh-" "I'm glad to see you're okay." He put his only arm over your shoulder and squeezed you like in a wrestling hold, roughly rubbing your head.
─ They used you as an excuse to have a party, although you didn't care much because you also celebrated and ate your favorite food.
─ Law was going to kill Shachi and Penguin because you got hurt on a mission with them, you took several hits, which exhausted you, and what you thought would be a nap back on the submarine ended up being something worse.
─ They tried to keep you awake while they used what Law had taught them about minimal care, but you couldn't continue.
─ They didn't even set foot in the submarine and you were already in a bed in the infirmary, the smell of blood gave away your condition, "I want a report on what happened and the area of the body that was most beaten, we will talk about your punishment later", both swallowed, knowing that their captain did not like to see his comrades injured but above all, to see someone with so much life ahead of them injured.
─ You are treated immediately and quickly, Law knows that you will not wake up for at least a week due to the blows and your condition, but you would get out of this, that does not prevent him from feeling an emptiness in the pit of his stomach.
─ Bepo will be in your room most of the time, reading out loud so that according to him, you wouldn't get bored in your dreams, Shachi and Penguin got some free time (because they were forced to clean the entire submarine until it shined) to apologize to you.
─ Ikakku stopped by from time to time to check your vital signs and tell you some things that had been happening.
─ Even though they knew you would wake up, not knowing when the moment would be made the entire crew impatient, although Law detected some changes in your condition after a month, he knew when you would finally open your eyes, which reassured him.
─ "What the hell…?" You mumbled when you woke up seeing that your arms and legs were tied, "I'm glad to see you awake" "How are you glad if I'm tied to a bed? Oh don't tell me, have you finally lost your mind and going to dissect me?" He sighed "Security, I knew you were going to get up as soon as you woke up and I want to do one last check" "Sure…"
─ Everyone found out later because you started screaming as if you were being tortured just because had to supply something with a syringe, at least you prolonged your hug with Bepo because of that.
─ Shachi and Penguin apologized to you again, but you downplayed it, right now what mattered most to you was having a good meal, you were hungry and Ikkaku had the solution to all your problems.

Meet the Master Strategist ~ Wire
Wire invented the word aloof. This is a fact. He also invented the word slay. Besides being a silent giant, Wire also has the second biggest brain in the Kid Pirate crew, right behind Killer. Wire handles strategizing full stop. Schemes, plots, developments, trysts, pranks, rehabilitation, etc. Knows the ins and outs of everything somehow but won't spill on how he knows. Wire tells Killer what to do and Killer tells Kid what to do when it comes to pulling off anything, be it dinner bill dashing or infiltrating highly guarded castles. Don't let his unenthusiastic face fool you - if you're in the crew, you're his nakama, you can trust him with your life.

Wire may have also coined the phrase 'ride or die' but that's still unverified. Anyways, he's loyal as they come. Most of the crew came from the same island so it may seem intimidating to join the fray, and they all do have high walls, once they get over themselves, you'll find crew more like family.
Does he know sign language? He'll shrug and then give you a vague answer with an even vaguer gesture. You'll see him make signing motions from time to time, clearly holding conversation, communicating from a distance, or maybe giving direction during tougher than normal settings. It's not until one day Heat pulls you aside and let's you in on the secret. Yes Wire can sign, and he did it purely so he didn't have to expend his energy talking to people he didn't find interesting. Not a lot of people know how to sign back so they leave him alone, just the way he wants it to be.
If he finds time to relax, Wire enjoys simple pastimes to get through the days. He plays guitar and has been known to sing sometimes, he loves board and card games, is a vicious dart shark, and he loves napping. He's one of very few Kid Pirates that takes naps but he makes the absolute most of them. He wears a sleep mask too. It reads: Fuck Off (in really nice handsewn embroidery.)
Wire is the chillest between Kid (the unbridled anger), Killer (the stoic well of anxiety), and Heat (much nicer than he should reasonably be). If crew concerns don't meet a certain threshold criteria, most internal problems get handed to himself and Heat. The thresholds being: big bastard Kid needs to kill, and any situation not cited in Killer's emergency management guidebook.
Circling back to slay - it's a double entendre. Wire has the third highest body count on the crew (for murders), he's also a fashion icon. Have you seen his fit? Mesh netting on those tits and legs, WITH whore shorts? He knows what he's fucking doing. He helps all his little queer pirate kids pick out their outfit aesthetics, he's a proud gay dad.
Wire is only possessive of two things. One of them is his beloved trident. Kid made it for him years ago and it's still his weapon of choice. He cleans and oils it daily, sharpens the points and keeps on top of maintenance for it. Kid made him other weapons over the years: spiked brass knuckles (hurts Wire's back to bend down and utilize them properly); spiked boots (better application but Kid is not a cobbler and those promptly fell apart mid-fight leaving Wire barefoot in battle); a spiked flail (hit Kid's head by accident one time and Wire never saw the flail again). No weapon is more suited for his height and style of fighting than his trident. Wire suspects Kid made it to match his favorite pointed headdress.
If you try to get in the way of his Captain's dreams OR you try to sling pot on the deck, you're dead meat. There's only one weed dealer on the Victoria Punk and that's Wire.

Luffy -
He thought you were just making up words and started copying you.
Once you explain that you're speaking a different language, maybe a native language or one you've learned, he's so impressed. Luffy's not really good with words and knowing that you know like twice as much as him is awesome.
I hc that there are accents in the OP world too and I love the hc that Luffy has a very different way of speaking than the others. I think it's adorable.
Zoro -
What. Huh? He's so confused.
Where did this come from and why has he just noticed? Zoro can be a bit of a dud when it comes to noticing some things and so it took him a minute to process. But in the end he's ultimately pretty fascinated by it. He likes the way you talk even if he can't understand you.
Sanji -
Heart burst. He's swooning like he usually does but he's also very curious. Sanji might sit with you and ask questions or have you teach him a few phrases. Maybe teach him words for food or complements he'll love that.
Nami -
Full focus on you, tell her more. She won't understand but she's listening. Nami kind of just stares at you as you speak and admires your voice, she'll absentmindedly mouth some of the easier words. It's so cute, but she thinks you're cute too.
She will make you teach her insults to give to rude creeps she comes across.
Usopp -
"Write that down, write that down!"
He's taking notes because this is so new to him, he wants to learn more. When did you learn? What part of the world does your language come from? Endless questions and endless appreciation, he's just happy to listen and ask.
Robin -
Robin knows at least one or two languages aside from being able to read the Poneglyphs, mainly because she's well travelled and had to adapt. But your language is new to her and she's very interested. What are the origins of the language, who spoke it and what does it look like in written form?
She'll ask you to teach her a little bit, she's a sponge for knowledge.
Franky -
No idea what's going on but he's happy to be along for the ride. He'll hear you say random words or sentences in your language and even if he doesn't understand he'll still say "that's super".
Brook -
A bilingual man, can't tell me otherwise. Your language is new to him and though he doesn't study languages, he'll have you exchange words he knows for ones you can teach him. Enjoy long conversations about it over tea and biscuits.
And no, no matter what he says don't teach him the word for panties.
Jinbe -
Another bilingual and he'll bond with you over that. The language he knows was one commonly used in the fishman district but was forcibly forgotten by regular merfolk because of oppression and the WG. He likes to keep it alive when he can and he'll appreciate it if you share your knowledge between eachother.
Law -
In my hc Flevance had it's own dialect which he sometimes still falls into the habit of. Law appreciates your language and finds it very soothing to listen to you talk or sing if you do. It's quite charming.
Kid -
He will yell at you at first to stop babbling and making things up until you explain that it's your language. If he likes you enough he'll apologise and let you continue. At first he's acting like he doesn't care but the more he listens to you the more he warms up to the sound. So if you randomly stop talking he'll zip around and say "Why'd you stop? Keep talking".
Killer -
Pretty neutral about this, and he compliments you on it. He thinks it could be useful in the future if you need to communicate with people. Killer likes it when you talk to yourself in little mumbles in your language, it's hard not to chuckle and look at you.
