I did this last time and it got a couple notes, so why not again? Here's my ranking for all the shorts from Star Wars Visions: Volume 2.
Screecher's Reach - holy shit. Holy shit. I knew I would like this one going in because Cartoon Saloon owns my ass, but I never thought I'd see animated Star Wars horror. This one was genuinely creepy and seeing such a poor character fall victim to the lies of the Sith was heartbreaking, and unique for Star Wars content. I loved this short.
Aau's Song - I know the phrase "Ghibli-esque" gets thrown around annoyingly often, but I feel like it actually applies here. The gorgeous natural vistas, the emphasis on the nobility of simple work, a loving family dynamic, the power of a child and the magic of love, it's all here. The character designs are lovely, the music is moving, and I love the vocal performances too. This one is really close to the #1 spot.
The Spy Dancer - I somehow forgot that Studio La Cachette has been responsible for some of the most astounding animation of the past couple years, but oh my god did this short make me remember. Not only is the animation gorgeous, but the characters are so vividly portrayed in such a short amount of time, and it weaves a compelling story completely separate from the lore of the Jedi and the Sith. I'd love more Star Wars content like this.
Sith - the visuals of the painted world in this one are maybe some of the most out-there, artistically, in this whole bunch, and I appreciate such a strong vision. I feel like tumblr is gonna have the hots for our former-Sith protagonist, but I'm always a sucker for droids who are Just a Little Guy.
In the Stars - I love Lilo & Stitch in space. The visuals walk the line where I'm not 100% convinced whether they were cgi or stop-motion, but either way they're extremely impressive. I personally don't vibe with the character archetype that Kichina embodies, but I like her dynamic with Koten, and the arc they go through is pretty rock-solid.
The Bandits of Golak - I have mixed feelings about this one. I like the clear Clone Wars influence in the character designs, and the action staging is pretty great. I also love the sheer Bollywood energy that the Inquisitor brings; I'd love to see more Star Wars villains with this kind of energy instead of more blandly evil bureaucrats. That said, the character models are kind of stiff (especially in the human faces), and Rani is just... so annoying. Chanuk is a good boy, though.
I Am Your Mother - I'm kind of shocked that Aardman even decided to do a short for this volume, but I'm not complaining. When you get Aardman on board you expect a certain tone, and this doesn't disappoint. It's not nearly as funny as Aardman's best work, but it's still a good time and a nice balance with the darker shorts like Screecher's Reach.
The Pit - I really respect this studio and it's unique circumstances, but I feel like this short was missing something. Putting aside the animation, which looked great in still shots but didn't move super well, I feel like this short has nothing that ties it to Star Wars. The stormtroopers could have been any evil army, the kyber crystals could have just been gold or diamonds, the pit itself could have just been on Earth. This short has a good story to tell, but it makes absolutely zero relevant use of Star Wars lore.
Journey to the Dark Head - I'm sad to put the Studio Mir short on the bottom, but here we are. Mir still delivers on some astounding individual cuts of animation that live up to their lauded work on The Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender, but I feel like overall the direction of this short was a little chaotic and confused, and the thrills didn't last for more than a few moments each. Moreover, the plot barely made any sense, and failed to sell a convincing story even using a longer runtime than any other short this volume. And I'm sorry, Eugene Lee Yang; I'm happy to see you here, but it just wasn't a very good performance.

Unsupervised Leave
Summary: Phoenix leaves for a weekend, or when the sole owner of the group brain cell isn’t around Bob tries very hard to step up.
Word Count: 1.1k
Phoenix had never been so excited to leave North Island. For three years she had this particular weekend cleared on her schedule. No event or appointment was going to fall on the next four days. There was only one thing on her mind. She was heading back home to be the maid of honor in her sister’s wedding.
She was so excited, she didn’t realize she was grinning until Hangman stopped outside her door. “What’s wrong with your face?”
“Nothing. This is how normal people express happiness. You should try it sometime.” She replied before lifting her bag off of the bed and swinging it over her shoulder. She walked past Hangman and headed towards her car.
Hangman followed like a shadow. “Where are we going?”
“We are not going anywhere.” She opened her backseat door and tossed the bag in. “I am going on leave for a long weekend.” Closing the back door, she opened the front and climbed in. “Do not, and I repeat, do not do anything stupid while I’m gone.”
Hangman’s wide grin in hear rearview mirror was enough to assure Phoenix that he wasn’t even going to pretend to listen to her.

I hope this call didn’t wake you up. Although I envy you because you’re probably asleep. I wish I was asleep. We came out to the Hard Deck. The night started really fun. I beat Payback in a game of pool. Hangman tried flirting with some girl but Penny said he had insulted so many women that she was going to call his mom after he bought a round.” He paused to yawn again. “But that was hours ago. I just want to go to bed. Maybe I’ll take a nap in the truck before I drive them all back. Night, Phoenix.”

Now we’re at the hospital waiting for the x-rays on his foot. I tried to yell at them like you do, but they’re just glaring at each other in the waiting room. Oh wait, here comes Mav. Coyote got the best picture of him on his knees crying next to the wheelchair. It’s a bit mean, but I think it’s a fitting punishment. See you soon.”

aw man ok. so i was a big homestuck fan in my teens and i rly loved broadway karkat, & last week i discovered all my faves are on spotify :’) so i made a playlist of them and spent all weekend revisiting my past
HMM okay here’s some rapid fire facts: i’m the eldest of three, i’m a dog person, i’m an introvert, i can be very stubborn (taurus 👋🏻), i tend to prefer video games over tv/movies, and overall personality-wise i relate the most to honey out of all the listeners!
So I consider a lot of factors when I do these, I swear I do. That said- you’re a Honey-kinnie but also a dog person? Who else can I pair you with but Asher?
Your personality types, in addition to your being an eldest child, hint to me that you’re a steadfast, reliable person and therefore an excellent foil to Asher who could use someone like that in his life to ground him. In contrast, I think his extroverted, bubbly nature would bring you out of your shell, endear you to the rest of the pack as the beta’s mate. Also, I think your love of video games and homestuck would really bring y’all together. (Out of all the boys, he’s deffo the most likely to be a homestuck.)
You’d have such a fun, chill life together, because Asher keeps it fun and chill, you know? I think Asher spends a lot of time wolfed out and with his big, dog head on your lap while you play video games. He jumps during the scary games and shifts back during co-ops so he can play with you. He comes home from a gig with either a honey bun or Fritos, because he wasn’t sure what the vibe was today, so he’ll eat whichever one you don’t want. You do 7/11 snack runs and compete to see who has the bluest tongue. It’s a great life.

This song is peak Asher-vibes; do you know what I mean? Like, I think this is the kind of music he’d like, this sort of alternative indie pop rock sound. (Side note, the guitarist’s name is literally Darlin, so that’s a sign right there.) This song in particular is so fun and catchy; I can see Asher singing this at you incessantly no matter how long he’s already been your boyfriend.

Milo is a runner-up because you’re a dog person /hj It’s also because I would kill to watch him watch you play RE4 or any other horror game- that would be hilarious. Guy is another runner-up because, behind Asher, he’s the second most likely to have had a homestuck phase.

Snack! Can you tell me about your OCs? 👀
I dont have many but my main one is a sonic oc named aria robotnik(but I may change her name at some point)
Put under a cut now because this is long
she was another product of project shadow who was created when marias body regected shadows blood(head cannon that the way shadow helped maria was blood transfusion). So Gerald made her with some of Maria's dna so Maria's body wouldn't reject the blood. She was still in her pod when the raid happened, so when the alarm went off, she would have been put to sleep(similar to how shadow was for those 50 years). Her genetics are made of Gerald, maria, Black Doom, and artificial chaos. As a result of the chaos dna she reacts heavily to the chaos emeralds (super form, maybe some body changes with the more chaos emeralds) Gerald refered to her as "shadow beta" (shadow (the hedgehog) would have been called "shadow alpha")
Visually, she's humanoid that greatly resembles maria( to the point that both eggman and shadow theorize she might be maria after being frozen for 50 years(she is not)) but has red stripes on her face, arms, and legs and red streaks in her hair (which is black) her hair is cut into a pixie cut. if I ever wrote the story her hair would start out long and dyed to hide the streaks in her hair (though it's grown out and the roots are showing red) and after a point she would cut it short enough to reveal the streaks more. She wears a red shirt with a slit down each side and skinny jeans. She has a lot of ear piercings that change periodically. She has 2 wide belts that hang over her shoulders in an x shape (angel vibes, lol).
Maria did meet her a couple times (though Gerald wasn't aware of this) the first time being while playing hide and seek with shadow and she snuck into a lab to hide(aria remembers this a bit but she was essentially in a coma so she could only hear maria)
When the raid happened she was still incomplete(a la lilo and stitch 2) so she has some small issues such as occasional uncontrollable shaking in her hands (this would be similar to essential tremor) usually when she's feeling strong emotions (like fear or excitement), and pain in some of her joints.
Gerald implemented inhibitor rings into her wrists with the intention of her being able to control whether or not they were open or closed (however gun welded them closed when they got her(the welding breaks when she touches the master emerald(long story)))
She is very good at taking technology and changing it to be what she wants/needs but finds difficulty in making her own code or robots. (This mostly presents as the ability to create backdoors into networks. And her cool motorcycle made of 2 motobugs and a buzzbomber)
She often runs from people when she feels they have a reason to not want to be around her (for example: when she finds out that she was a part of project shadow she isolates herself from people because she thinks they wouldnt want to be around her since she's "unnatural")
After the raid, she was seized by gun and kept for most of the 50 years Shadow was(on the ark she presented as 12 by the time the story would take place she presents as 17). After a point, a gun officer took pity on her and offered to take care of her. She was awoken and put into his and his wife's care and told that she couldn't remember anything because of an accident(this was also the explanation for her stripes). Her mom died during the flooding of Station Square (sa1), and her dad died during the black arms invasion (shadow the hedgehog). Her parents kept her hair dyed. All in all, they were good parents, just moreso followed what gun wanted to keep secret than what would have been best for her
She was created after Gerald had his falling out with black doom so part of her design was to be a protector for maria when she got to earth(her blood proved effective enough that this was a legitimate possibility)
One of these days, I'll actually write the fic(I have enough to write a novel, I think lol)

No offence but arent you doing the same thing you just condemned with this comment tho. You just propped up austin while simulteaneously devaluning if not deminishing JE interpreation by describing it as the "bare mininimum" ( this isnt even an objective statement nor a factual descriptor) and mischarcterizing some of the praise he has been getting for his performance
"And by some people" I hope you mean fandoms, who lack the ability to critically think for themselves and think everything is about competition. I 've seen some really great critiques on both films and have really done a great job of highlighting what each performance (austin and JE) does successfully and what they fail to do.
I agree with you though there is no need to tear down one actor to uplift another that really isnt fair criticism, though Im not opposed to people saying they like one interpretation of another or if they like one movie over another like I think thats fair game. I can see why someone may like a more muted performance as opposed to a more showy performance or why someone might vibe with baz's elvis rather than the tedium of a sofia coppola film.
Though comparing movies is tad bit unfair in this case when one film is more about elvis the myth, performer and a generalized timeline the life of elvis ( despite some historical imbellishments) while the other film is centered around priscilla and a focusing on her prespective in a more introspective and muted manner and looking at elvis through her eyes ( or at least attempts to do)

No, I'm not downplaying JE's performance at all. I haven't even seen the movie "Priscilla" yet, so I'm not going to judge smthg I've never seen.
My comment was about Twitter and the snarky tweets people have been making about JE vs Austin... saying that JE "gave a better Elvis performance in Priscilla after only watching Lilo & Stitch, whereas Austin dedicated his life to the role".
It was basically a jab at Austin saying that Elordi did better than him as Elvis while only doing the bare minimum, whereas Austin went all hard.
I'm only sharing what people on Twitter have been saying or making jokes about. 🤷🏾♀️

autumn + Peter Parker
Your favourite things to do with Peter in the autumn/fall...
watching the leaves fall...
he loves to sit on the fire escape, by the window or even in a quiet park with you watching as the leaves change colours and fall from the leaves. He always picks a tree-ful park so he can watch for hours, sharing an earphone or telling each other stories.
hot cocoa...
in the autumn you both make the switch around 2pm for cocoa instead of coffee. He thinks you make the BEST hot cocoa when really you just follow the recipe on the back of the container and add a sprinkle of cinnamon.
pumpkin picking...
every october when the orchards are ready Peter drags you out to the nearest farm to pick out the perfect pumpkins. He hardly carves them, if he does he doesn't do it until the day before halloween but he always picks out little ones to decorate the apartment.
halloween movies...
while it isn't his favourite holiday he will admit that the halloween movies are superior. Every weekend you spend watch 1-4 movies prepping for the trick or treaters and the overall spooky vibes of the season.
cuddling up...
with the weather chilling Peter is three times as excited to spend time snuggled up on the couch or in bed. Weather just sharing the same blanket on the couch or close enough your eye lashes almost touch he loves it.
rain...
Peter loves the rainy weather. he doesn't find it cold or depressing, he actually finds it the opposite. Every rainy day Peter is in a fantastic mood and insists on walking every, even if it's just a little bit too far.
pumpkin spice...
Just like every other white girl in the world Peter loves pumpkin spice. Pumpkin pie, cookies, lattes, coffee creamer, soda, whatever he can find he will try. And he will never admit that it's disgusting - even if it sits in the fridge for 6 months before he lets you throw it out.
sweaters...
the kid wears sweaters all the time. From hoodies, to vests to knit he loves them all. So when the weather finally chills off enough that he can wear them all day every day he jumps to it. He even buys himself one new sweater every year just to prep for fall.
warm home cooked meals...
even though the two of you cook dinner every day, spare the odd few days soup season is his favourite season. soup and biscuit is one of his favourite meals, and as the weather chills you have more soups, pastas and generally warm meals. he can't get enough of it.
bonus....
once you begin having children Peter starts looking for family halloween costumes in august. If he can't find the custom, he will make his own and it will be fantastic. From winnie the pooh to lilo and stitch, to stupid sciencey jokes he would be all over it.

How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?
In terms of unpublished works I don't really talk about, I have at least 27 named FOP stories [as in, I'm not counting anything that already has at least one chapter posted and not counting any 130 Prompts]. Not all of them are winners and some are currently being recycled into 130 Prompts. Some I'm looking forward to writing, but am reluctant to start when I have so many other unfinished projects that are public.
Case in point, I have a draft for a 10-chapter AJ-centric fic called Pulling Your Puzzles Apart. It's an AU where Timmy considered A.J. his best friend instead of Chester, so AJ ended up with Norm's lamp and Norm has to go to college with him while AJ scrambles to keep him under control.
I'd like to post this one, but I also want to wrap up Come With May and maybe Pink and Gray before I open a new story. I keep going back and forth, trying to decide if it's better to have lots of projects that I'm having fun with at my own pace or if it's just better to tackle them one at a time.

I know I had two unfinished Danny Phantom pieces (plus No Anesthetic which did have one chapter up). Lots of Mario world drafts that I'm never satisfied with. Two TUFF Puppy pieces I started but couldn't put a plot together for, at least two Lilo and Stitch stories and some Bunsen Is a Beast pieces I stopped for the same reason.
I keep meaning to go back to that, they were fun. I love "town that sits on a portal to Beast World" and "Official welcome committee boy who has to take charge of the new fuzzy transfer student despite being descended from a guy who used to hunt his kind," it's such a cruel vibe... It was fun, but I felt weird being super dark for such a goofy show.
I have a stack of WordGirl ideas I've been toying with over the years and I'm looking forward to sharing some of those <3 The one I'm posting on Friday is something I've wanted to write for over 10 years so it's very cathartic and I hope people like it as much as I do.
My favorite Lilo and Stitch story was a Jumba backstory with lots of experiments scuttling around his lab. I've perma-shelved it since it has a similar vibe to Origin of the Pixies and I don't have it in me to write something so similar (nor create all the unique experiments), but Slick (020) was always a favorite. Here's my favorite snippet from that story, and I think you can see a lot of Sanderson's personality in how I wrote him (2016 or 2017):

“That’s all you are! Big talk, big guts, but puny muscles and punier brains. I mean, you’re programmed to sell stuff. How bright can you be?”
020 plucked 322 up by the scruff and set one hand to his hip. “Aw shucks, that’s real cute and flattering, partner. Now, you’re new here, so I’m gonna cut you a special offer free of extra charge.”
“If it’s anything like the way you cut cheese, count me out of here. If you’re some major room-clearing experiment, you deserve a raise.”
“Name’s 020.” He tipped his hat, and then one of the claws on that hand came down to prod 322 in the bowtie marking. “And I’m Jumba’s number one.”
“Number one what? Back-scratching errand boy?” 322 tipped his voice into a high falsetto. “‘Jumba, I finished all your paperwork. You got mail’.”
I picked up spray bottle and splashed it across back of 020’s head. “Ah-ah! Whoever said you were alpha on block anyway? Please to be giving me 322 now.”
Seething through his teeth, 020 placed 322 in my large palm and crossed his arms.

Share a snippet from one of your favorite pieces of prose you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
One of my favorite sections of prose is the way Foop speaks about Anti-Sanderson in "You'll Never Know." This story was written with Foop as an incredibly unreliable narrator who dodges questions, is unfaithful with his answers, and skirts around his emotions.
In this story, we hit the 77,777-year anniversary of Anti-Cosmo's mysterious disappearance and Anti-Fairy politics demand Anti-Wanda take a new ruling partner. Anti-Wanda proposes to the Head Anti-Pixie (Anti-Sanderson) and Foop (mentally 11) is dealing with a lot of complicated emotions. He feels abandoned by Anti-Cosmo, fiercely protective towards his mother, cowed into submission by the people who have always see him as reckless, and he struggles with a lot of guilt over the fact that he actually admires Anti-Sanderson.
Two weeks before the wedding, I ask Hap the same question I asked Mother, following it with, "Do you even know which kids are yours?"
He points down at my head with two fingers. "DNA test, sucker!"
"No you can't."
"Oh fudge, you're right. I didn't think this through. Eh, weh, meh." Shrug. "I'll draw straws. Now, where should I put the maps I brought? I also have questions about my wrapping paper collection, but I do not have answers."
"The High Count's office, I suppose."
Hap doesn't move, hands still templed before his chest. "Does anyone else have an opinion?"
The only other person in the room is Klangfar, so no. I lean back on my heels in the air. "Nothing's going to bite you. I store all my junk in there." Hap still twitches, so I shrug. "It hasn't been Father's office in a long time."
"It's still a 'Yikes' from me."
And… that's why I didn't hate my step-father. I could have stopped the wedding. Easily, with just a twist of my hand. But I didn't. Because Hap might have overthrown his own father to seize the Head Anti-Pixie title, but I'd seen him tone down his playful teasing during the points in Council meeting discussions he was most passionate about. When he first showed up at the Blue Castle with a backpack containing his favorite valuables and three anti-pixie kids behind him, I watched from the stairs as he looked around the entry hall, gripping those backpack straps and looking absolutely overwhelmed. It took a few weeks before he could remember how to fly after being deprived of clean magic for so long, and Hap didn't scream or cry every time he got upset. He would chuckle and, sheepish and bruised, ask the next person he saw for a lesson. Something about his laughter stopped my cheeks from burning with secondhand embarrassment. He felt no shame.
"I don't like this," Hiccup murmured.
Hap had skittish feet outside his own territory. I noticed early on that he followed my mother whenever he thought it wasn't weird. His whole presence was weird. He always stood crookedly with wings slightly open in a way that drew attention, but he didn't force himself into the centre of a room. He spoke when he wanted to and didn't when he didn't. For someone who wore bold red and yellow, he could certainly melt into the background when he wanted to. He walked the halls sometimes at night, hands clasped behind his back, and… not a single gram of anxiety shot through me if our paths crossed while I snuck midnight snacks upstairs.
"Take a scoop of vegetables with you," he said the first time he saw me, and I stopped dead.
"What?"
"Veggies," he said, walking right past me. "They're good for you. If you don't eat them tonight, get a lot tomorrow, yeah?"
"You're hardly the boss of me, Head Anti-Pixie."
"You got me there," he laughed. Never stopped. Never tried to push it. I saw the way he coloured pictures with his anti-pixies and listened in while Smoky played piano, offering advice and critiquing the bends of his claws. I saw how he spoke to my mother, keeping a respectful difference and trying not to overstep. I saw him stare some nights at the portraits of Anti-Cosmo on the walls, copying his posture for a few seconds before drawing a cloth from his pocket and wiping a bit of grime from the frame. He didn't try to take those pictures down. I saw him hesitate to seize my father's office, balancing on the heels of his feet. And that's why I don't stop the wedding.
"Can I have this?" I ask Hap three days after his coronation, pointing to a silver wand sheath lying on the High Count's desk. My father's own, if I'm not mistaken. Hap barely glances up from the weird golden bridle he pulled from the closet.
"Sure."
I buckle the sheath on. My ba-ba won't fit, but just wearing it makes me feel more like an adult. "Could I also get a little spending money for a camping trip with my friend Kelsia?"
"Mm, depends. Are you on a healthy diet?"
"Mostly."
"Then you sure can, pudding tin."
"Does pudding even come in tins?"
Hap points two fingers at me. "It does if we make some tonight!"
We do. Me and Smoky and Hap and the three anti-pixie children I keep not learning the names of since they rotate between the Castle and Isle every week. And it's fun. It's a lot of fun.
I fall in my coffin that evening without bothering to unclip the wand sheath, hands folded behind my head and feet kicked in the air. "Ah… Now this is the way a prince should be treated."
"Foop," Hiccup whines.
"What? You know I'm right. A father who respects Mother and gives Smoky and I anything we want is way better than a father who runs off with other lovers behind his family's back. Mother deserved better than him. We all did."
"This isn't fair to Daddy."
"What do you want me to do about that?"
"Are we ever going to tell Mum about the fight?"
"Why should we?"
"I don't know… I just don't like doing this."
I snort. "Nothing's ever good enough for you, Puck. I spent my formative years under so much distress that our mind split apart. All these years later, we're finally getting a normal childhood. For once, can you be happy for us?"
Of course it wouldn't last. Hap disappears five years later. Hiccup has the decency not to say I told you so.
It's not the most melodic prose voice, but I feel like it fits the vibe of "Foop being curious and not as judgmental as he expected to be." I really like the way I showed Anti-Sanderson's awkward adjustment to his new role as High Count (and Foop's temporary step-father). Anti-Sanderson is very unstable (as you'll see in the snippet after this one), and I love touching in on these moments where you see him out of his element, feeling self-conscious.
I love the parallels between how uncomfortable Anti-Sanderson is to be filling Anti-Cosmo's shoes and how Foop feels out of place and "never good enough" for his role as prince. I love how Foop sees beauty and strength where Anti-Sanderson sees his faults. I love this fragile, human side of Anti-Sanderson that shows how he's trying to do his best and find his way in the world.

Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
I wrote the 130 Prompt "Look At That!" in 2016, and it'll still be a bit before we get to the Cavatina arc of the 130 Prompts... This is a spoiler, but it's still a dear favorite of mine. The Cavatina arc has its dark moments but it's a lot of angsty fun. This scene is one of my favorite dialogue exchanges...
“What about your son?”
“What about my son?”
That wasn’t the answer Sanderson had been expecting. “They’re synced up, same as you and me? If my son dies in that fall, yours will go down with him? That’s Anti-Entities 101.”
Anti-Sanderson tapped his right temple as he pushed himself back up to his feet with the leg of the barstool. “There are nine hundred ninety-nine more on the way genetically identical to him. I’ll probably let one of them live. Get yourselves a long running start, team. Draw on that sugar rush. Give it all you’ve got.”
“Wait.”
That small voice belonged to Anti-Cavatina. As before, as soon as someone asked him to, Anti-Sanderson made the signal for his followers to stop what they were doing. Still leaning on his makeshift cane, Anti-Sanderson turned himself around and squatted.
“Come here to talk to Daddy, wrigglepie. Come, come- don’t be shy. Won’t you give your old man a hug?” In slow motion, the little anti-pixie did. His father ruffled his star-blond hair. “Oh, yes, that’s the way you do it. What’s the matter, kiddo?”
“You…” Anti-Cavatina, not removing his arms, shot a puzzled glance in his counterpart’s direction. “You said you wouldn’t hurt him if I got the watch.”
Anti-Sanderson sucked air through his teeth. He nodded two or three times. “Ooh, that’s right. Thaaat’s right. Rats- I knew I was forgetting something. I did promise you that, didn’t I? Well.” Flipping back into a smile, “Change of plans, peachcake. Can’t be helped.”
“But I got the watch!”
“I know you did. You’re my big bwave boy.” Briefly releasing his cane, Anti-Sanderson took his son’s cheeks in both hands and squashed them inward. “And I wuv you so much, yes I do, you’re just adowable, oh yes you are.” He kissed Anti-Cavatina on the forehead, then patted him between the wings and pointed up the street. “Go tell Uncle Anti-Wosencwantz all about it. Daddy’s busy wight now.”
I love Anti-Sanderson as an antagonist because he's absolutely feral. His morals are extremely fluid and you can't even trust him to take care of his own son... I love this scene because I feel like even without context, it still gives off a chilling and villainous vibe. I love how poisonous and dangerous Anti-Sanderson can be. He's horrible but I also find him hilarious... Just a horrid man.

So what would you guys say are your favorite episodes of The Series?

My favorites are:
Spooky - Probably some of the best animation in the show is in this episode, plus they nail the Halloween-spooky-fun vibe, it’s fun to see the nervous-scared side of Stitch’s personality, and Spooky’s whole function is so genius! And almost everything Pleakley says in this episode makes me laugh.
Splodyhead - I’ve always loved this episode. I love Splodyhead, too. I particularly like episodes where characters who hate each other are forced to work together on a desert island. That’s a trope I’m here for!
Poxy - I love Poxy. When I was a kid I used to ride around the neighborhood on a scooter pretending to be him and his slick little germ self.
627 - This episode was so so cool when I was a kid. I love 627’s black claws and how all-out they went designing him. Plus, again, an episode where we’re shown how unstoppable Stitch always is, until he isn’t anymore, is such a cool break from the norm.
Bonnie & Clyde - I adore the different musical score in this episode, and I love Bonnie & Clyde’s dynamic together and the fact that they can speak English, but they’re rotten little alien life form stinkers. And I love Pleakley in this episode, too. I could just rate every episode based on Pleakley moments. But then I’d have to add Holio to this list which is already too long!

Doverstar:
Angel - It's my #1 favorite episode of the show, for sure. It hits all the nostalgic notes for me. Angel is my favorite experiment, and though the animation in this episode is terrible, I'm a huge fan of Angel's color palette in it and the idea behind the episode. The fact that love is what turns Angel from bad to good - and that it's Stitch who names Angel and changes her, instead of Lilo, which was the norm - love that. Plus it's cool there's an experiment in the 600's series that exists whose primary function is literally the opposite of the goal of the series.
Remmy - I like this one because of the emotional plot, and the fact that it focuses on Lilo and her mind and the lasting affects of her parents' death on the family. Any particularly deep Lilo-centric episode is a standout in my book! As a kid, the heavily-decorated "door" in Lilo's dream, which she says always has "bad things" on the other side of it, was super creepy and interesting to me. I remember thinking even at that age that the scene of her parents' actual crash would be behind that door, or maybe their gravestones, or maybe just a flashback of the night they didn't come home. I both did and did not want to see that. But no, instead it was Lilo's hula school and disarmingly-kind classmates, which is also interesting! All in all, it's my second favorite because of the slightly-deeper-than-usual subject matter.
627 - This one is purely nostalgia-based for me. The 627 episode was one of the all-time coolest to us growing up, like Arti said! Lots of her reasons for listing this one are the same as mine. Always cool to see Stitch come to terms with the fact that though he's pretty cool, he's not always the best at everything. And extra wonderful to hear Lilo say something like "So what if you're not king of the block anymore? You're still king of my block." So. Good. So sweet. Love that.
Shoe - Shoe is one of my top 5 favorite experiments. I like the plot in this episode and the animation in it too! I like Pleakley's comedy beats, and the idea of turning the old ship into a B&B was genius for a show about aliens living on Kauai. Perfect. But Shoe's lil emotional journey makes me very happy. His sole purpose is for the gain of other people, and he's at least intelligent enough to understand that people only seem to value him for what he can do for them, and then finding out Lilo specifically likes him even when he's bad luck? 10/10. One of those times where part of the episode isn't just catching the cousin or showcasing the shenanigans its abilities get the cast into, but showing how the experiment goes from bad to good and why.
Dupe - Because Dupe's design delights me, because the writing in this episode is fantastic, because the idea of a slumber party at Lilo's house with the experiments instead of four bratty human girls who'd ruin all the fun anyway is awesome, and because in the end, Lilo gets another reminder that even if she wants lots of friends, having one like Stitch at her side is more than good enough.
Retro - I always wanted this one to air often on TV growing up, specifically because it was later in the show and therefore rarer to see rerunning. I thought Retro's ability was so cool, and I was especially interested in the little glimpses of Nani's life before becoming sole caretaker of Lilo. Plus the setting of a cruise ship is always fun!
Swapper - Lilo gets a human friend Lilo gets a human friend Lilo gets a human friend LILO GETS A HUMAN FRIEND-
Snooty - Victoria gets an experiment of her own, Snooty is precious and Halloween-y, more looks at Victoria/Lilo's friendship, Pleakley driving is hilarious, and the ending gets me every time.
Amnesio - Gantu? An excellent friend for Lilo? Latent protective affection for the cute little Earthling? It's more likely than you think-
Bad Stitch - I like this one because it has some of my favorite Lilo/Stitch moments. It also seems to have unused material from the original movie? Maybe? I don't know, but Chris Sanders seems like the kind of guy who would suggest more of Lilo training Stitch like a "puppy" and squirting him with the stupid water bottle. I especially love the ending, where Lilo tells Stitch she knows he's good, even if he breaks things. And how Stitch wants to behave because Lilo asks him to, and she loves him, and that's why he wants to behave. Love that.
The Asteroid - Jumba recognizing that Earth is his home and that the Pelekais are his family waters my crops and clears my skin. And I love watching the whole Ohana work together on a planet-saving space trip.

Guessing Which Anime My Comfort Characters Would Watch
Steven Grant - It's pretty much a tie between Yu-Gi-Oh and Sailor Moon.
I feel like Aladdin is a Dragon Ball Z kind of guy. But, I also see him vibing with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Tokyo Mew Mew.
Bucky Barnes is into the classics so I can see him stanning Astro Boy and The Rose of Versailles.
Also, considering that he was around to see early Disney movies like Snow White and Pinocchio and has plenty of favorites, I just know he LOATHES the Lilo and Stitch anime.
We all know Poe Dameron is rockin' with Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star. Also, he looks like a Goku simp (can't blame him, he got amazing taste in men).
Doraemon. Bruno watches Doraemon.

ough it's gonna be a little bit difficult to think of 7 movies because I'm not a big movie watcher but I love talking about my interests so here we go! :D

1. Howls Moving Castle - the most comfort movie ever. I've loved it since I was so so small and I'll love it forever more
2. Treasure Planet - always good to return to. The characters have had a long lasting impression on me. A fantastic movie all around.
3. Ponyo - it's got ✨️The Vibes✨️. Really just the definition of comforting, I find this to be a very soothing movie
4. Lilo and Stitch - just a perfect movie in general
(If I was allowed to include video games as movies What Remains of Edith Finch and The Beginners Guide would be on here btw)
5. Tangled - idk what it is about it I just love this movie
6. How to Train Your Dragon 2 - perhaps controversial to pick the second one but For the Dancing and the Dreaming hard carries for me
7. Rise of the Guardians - last on my list but CERTAINLY not least. The scene where Jack Frost is finally SEEN always makes me cry. Comfort movie <33

Today was so hot
We went to the mall to try a new burger place. The junkporium near the burger place had dozens and dozens of Disney pins. I couldn't really find any Lilo and Stitch pins, but the pins were three for twenty bucks, so when I found a Mike and Sulley pair, I decided that I could grab a Lilo popsicle. They had one of my dream tarot decks, but we decided to pass it up for now because the pins were supposed to be a little more than I ended up paying. I will have it...... eventually.
So since our area has lifted most pandemic restrictions and then also we've transitioned out of winter, and our city has winter routes and schedules and they're different for summer, anyway, we ended up getting a little turned around, so while we were waiting for another bus, I started pondering things like making my own digital washi tapes and stickers for this idea I had.
I know the point of junk journaling is that it's usually tactile and a little unpredictable, uneven pages, pockets and tags and odds--but that also means it's expensive, because I would have to acquire whatever it is that I want to use in the course of the project--even if I make like decorative papers on purpose and get them either custom printed or just print them myself--like for some reason, I'm fixated on the idea of tarot cards and botanical illustrations. I'm not quite sure this is at all the right vibe for what's meant to be more of a psychological...........hmmmm, idk not a thriller, and not really a horror........ Maybe like, psychological...... self-discovery? It's meant to be a dark story. Anyway, even if I made all of my own stickers and papers and washi tape or whatever else, if I printed everything and assembled it, that would end up being a one of a kind or extremely limited edition art book. And if I just released it as a print-on-demand, I couldn't use things like pockets and tags, because everything would just print flatly on the page.
Hmmmmmm...........
Then there's the issue that my style is not presently very realistic. I'm not sure I'm trying to work toward a more realistic style? I know that I want the characters to feel a little more lively and make the art feel like I care enough without caring too much.
On the other hand, I could just create a ton of like, ground pages using like, I was thinking moth wings, maybe old leaves, definitely botanical illustrations, maybe even text from Alice in Wonderland, possibly illustrations. And I was thinking about adding journal pages--more of a mixed media situation than my current graphic novel.
Anyway, I was just thinking, since I want this project to be more layered than my current graphic novel, whether my resources are digital or physical, whether I create all of my resources from scratch, or only some of them, or maybe I scrounge all my resources from the annals of common use, most of my current graphic novel is figured out, I just need to actually put pencil and micron to paper.......... My next project could bear some consideration so I have a next to feed people by the time I'm done with the current one.
Just......... where to store my ground papers or any other resources......... I honestly have no real idea how long this current graphic novel is going to take.........
Overall, I really want to take this other story more of a Tim Burton, like I said earlier, psychological, style/direction. So I guess I'm not sure how a more realistic/photographic art style fits the story design/idea that I have.....but it does fit the junk journal style......

Spending Halloween with Disney Characters!!!
Request: there was none. I figured I'd thank you all for 900+ followers and also just give you a sweet Halloween treat! Happy Halloween everybody! Stay safe to all of you heading out and all of you staying in, enjoy your night.
Woody, Buzz + Jessie (Toy Story)
While Andy is out trick or treating, the toys will play!
And by play, of course I mean sit inside Andy's room and watch one of the many Halloween themed kids movies Andy and Molly have
Stealing Woody's hat to wear on your own head. When he asks for it back, explaining that you can't give it back because you're being a cowboy for Halloween
Scaring Rex, Hamm and Mr. Potato Head (they're really easy to scare and Jessie loves pulling Halloween pranks with you!)
Mission with Buzz to steal some of the Halloween candy mom bought for the trick or treaters downstairs
Sitting on the windowsill with Woody, watching the neighborhood children go door to door
And yeah, you fall asleep way before Andy gets home
And yeah, Woody steals his hat back
Halloween well spent though, you think
Lilo & Stitch
Halloween is one of Lilo and Stitch's favourite holidays
Their love of the holiday inspires you to love it just as much
The three of you do all the classic Halloween traditions
Carving pumpkins, trick or treating, dressing up in costume, watching horror movies (or the child equivalent because Nani won't let you watch actual horror movies)
Every house you go to praises Stitch's costume, you're not exactly sure if they're referencing his actual costume or just the fact that he's an alien
Either way, you all get a really good haul and at the end of the day, you split it all evenly. You and Lilo pick out your favourites and Stitch gets all the rest.
And yeah, you're all bouncing off the walls for months after that but it's a lot of fun!
Miguel Rivera (Coco)
Halloween isn't really a huge thing in Mexico, but children still celebrate it nonetheless
Miguel often gets stuck being in charge of his younger family members while his parents, uncles and aunts hang out
So, the two of you have to go really slow for trick or treating
But you don't mind, it's actually one of your favourite times of the year for that reason
Sometimes, Miguel will bring his guitar and strum a bit while the two of you walk
Somehow, the night always ends with the two of you siting together laughing
Costumes aren't really your guys' thing, you guys don't really collect candy anyway. That's more for the younger kids. It's just an excuse for the two of you to hang out without any worries for a night and be a kid.
Nick Wilde + Judy Hopps (Zootopia)
You can't tell me Nick and Judy wouldn't be an absolute delight to spend Halloween night with!
They would definitely be the type of people to take you to a costume party, they just seem like they really enjoy the vibes of a good party
The three of you would totally match costumes too, it would be Judy's idea, Nick would just go along to make her happy, you would love it just as much
And yeah the three of you would have a blast, dancing together
But you'd all definitely leave the party early and pick up some candy from the local grocery store
And you'd definitely sit on the couch for the rest of the night, in your costumes watching horror movies
Nick loves them, Judy would rather watch something else but since Nick gave into her costume idea she wouldn't say a word
You'd just be happy to be spending time with them
(Nick would totally try and scare you and Judy sometime during the night as well. Sly fox.)
Lightning McQueen + Mater (Cars)
These two would be so much fun to hang around on Halloween because they literally would just love scaring people
Seriously, there would be so many laughs in Radiator Springs that night
A lot of masks and hiding behind walls/buildings to scare the other townfolk
Sally scolds the three of you several times during the night, telling you to stop with the shenanigans and do something else
Luigi and Guido join in at some point during the night
Fillmore and Sarge watch you guys from Flo's, you're not sure if they're disappointed or amused
Sheriff and Lizzie both nearly lose it when you scare them but they think it's funny afterwards
Ramone and Flo stay in all night, which is disappointing to your scaring gang
Doc doesn't even flinch. You're all literally just a pain in his behind while he's trying to do more important things.
Red is the only person you actually manage to upset but it's okay! You all apologize!
(Bonus: if Lightning is at a race for Halloween, then the three of you scare the other racers and Mack instead)
Goofy + Max (A Goofy Movie)
The last time you tried to go trick or treating with the Goof family, Goofy ended up in the ER
(it's a long story, but really that person shouldn't have left their garden gnome out in the centre of the dimly lit walkway)
So this year, you and Max decide to stay in instead
You make popcorn and set up a movie to watch
Goofy promises he won't join and ruin your teenage fun, but that doesn't last very long. By the time you're halfway through the second movie, he's joined in
And it's a lot of fun sitting there watching movies, occasionally getting up to hand out treats to some of the trick or treaters
Max actually finds he doesn't mind his father being there as much as he thought he would
The three of you have a really pleasant evening and yeah, you fall asleep on the couch but it's well deserved after a long fun filled night
The Duck/McDuck Family (DuckTales 2017)
McDuck Manor is the best place to spend Halloween
The children all go out for Halloween, so does Scrooge, which leaves the manor in the capable hands of Donald, Della and Launchpad (who still doesn't have a firm grasp on this whole thing but he's trying)
Oh and Launchpad's boyfriend, Drake Mallard, because Dewey invited Gosalyn to trick or treat with them
Donald hands out candy, because he loves seeing the smiling faces on the children as he adds to their sugary loot for the night
Della tries (and mostly fails) to scare the kids, kids aren't as easily scared nowadays as they were before she ended up on the moon. Stupid internet.
You, Drake and Launchpad spend most of the night with your feet propped up watching Darkwing Duck reruns and tossing candy halfheartedly at each other from across the room
Things get a tad bit more interesting when Gyro and Fenton join the group to wait for Boyd to come back from trick or treating with the kids
And by interesting, of course, I mean, the group of you decide to play Halloween charades but it just turns into a one sided showing up contest on Drake's part
Either way, fun night and you hope you can spend time at the manor for holidays more often

Choi Soobin
Disney World was the first place that came to mind for Soobin when he began planning your surprise anniversary date. The idea of walking around the amusement park, holding your hand while you constantly smiled already had his heart fluttering. Your smile was his favorite thing to see and he knew for a fact he'd see it for hours here. He also knew you hadn't been in years so what was more perfect than this. In the end, he'd drag you on every single ride, even the ones mainly kids rode. It was part of the full Disney experience, and he was all for it. His favorite ride was the Ferris wheel since he'd be able to stare and take beautiful pictures of you.
Relationships were new to him, but you were more than willing to patient and experience this with him. His hands never let go of yours once and he stayed attached to your hip throughout the day. Whenever you eyed an item of food or souvenirs, he'd buy it for you within seconds. He would do anything to hear your laugh and see your beautiful smile. Whether it may be walking around and observing, taking photos or going on rides, he felt happy and content his surprise turned out to be the perfect get away.
Choi Yeonjun
You'd have to drag this boy to come with you since he'd nag about the idea of having to wait forever to go on rides. But once he was there and going on rides, he'd act like a child that had never been to an amusement park before. When growing up, you always went with your family, and now, Yeonjun wanted to take you as much as he could since he knew how much you loved it and how sentimental it made you. He did his best to be energetic and excited, even though he dreaded the wait time. All he wanted to do was make you smile, and he knew this would be a great start.
Yeonjun’s favorite rides were the ones that would drop suddenly. He loved the thrill, but he also loved the idea of you holding onto him so tightly and burying your face in his shoulder or chest. It was his way of protecting you and you adored every second of it. Yeonjun would also suck at those games to win you plushies, but after seeing you pout, he would be determined to continue until you were leaving with one in your arms. It made Yeonjun happy to see you so happy and carefree from your daily stresses that he'd have to make sure he took you out like this more often.
Choi Beomgyu
You already know this man dragged you to Disney World because he wanted to go on Space Mountain. Even though you went on the ride about 8 times, you still enjoyed seeing Beomgyu so happy and relaxed from his usual daily life. You would go on that ride with him as many times as he wanted just to see him smile. He would love to try the other rides as well as seeing the different lands within Disney World. His favorite had to be Tomorrowland since he loved the futuristic vibe it gave off plus he loved the Lilo & Stitch ride. He would always be dragging you forward to see the different sites and try new rides.
He loved sharing different small snacks with you instead of going and getting a meal since he wanted to try everything the park had to offer. He really enjoyed the red velvet cake pops as well as the dole whips sundaes. He would love to feed you and take care of you, even though you would think Beomgyu would act like a child most of the time. He really was very caring and thoughtful, but of course, he would have to tease you along the way. Once he saw the mascots, he would have to get photos with all of them. Literally he would talk to them as if he was a kid again and would be so happy. It warmed your heart to see him enjoying himself especially on his time off from work. You would make it an yearly trip to come to Disney World just for Gyu to enjoy himself and relax from the daily stresses of work.
Kang Taehyun
Taehyun would be going to Disney World for you, but in the end, would be having more fun than you. He always made sure to hold onto your hand tightly, not wanting to lose you in the big crowds as well as being protective of you per usual. He would try and act like he was only enjoying it for you, but when he started to ask to take more photos with you inside the attraction, you knew he was having the time of his life. His favorite rides would be the rollarcoasters or the ride with sudden drops in them. He would hold onto your hand tightly and before the rides started, he always pressed a comforting kiss to your temple.
He loved walking around and seeing the different people who were inside the park and how they reacted to seeing the rides. He wasn’t a fan of the mascots, so the two of you strayed away from them, but he did love the food the two of you shared. The mickey mouse pretzels, the dole whips, and the churros you both shared were his favorite. The two of you would of course get the matching mickey and minnie mouse headbands, but he would be giving you alot of attitude the entire time. Regardless if he wanted to come to the park or not, he was happy he did since it was a fun experience with you. There were many memories the two of you made there that you could reminisce on later.
Huening Kai
It was 100% his idea to go and you weren’t sure you were going to like it, but once you got on the cute little tea cup ride, you knew you were going to have a blast here. Huening Kai was one of the most down to earth and fun people you had ever met, so when he asked you to be his girlfriend, you were over the moon with happiness. The two of you meshed well and were best friends while still loving each other more than life itself. He would keep you close to him as the two of you casually walked through the park and tried out some rides. He would pull you towards the carnival games where you could win plushies, which is where you spent alot of your time.
He would end up winning 3 different plushies, only giving you one since he was obsessed with plushies himself. You understood him so you were only slightly offended, but you would just tease him about it later. The two of you would share a meal at Gaston’s Tavern, sitting an enjoying good conversation to talk about the day and what you enjoyed about the park. Huening Kai would want to stay till the park closed only to watch the firework show. He would hold you close to him as the two of you sit on the ground together, watching the colorful fireworks in the sky. The music was so fitting as you’d lean into his touch to snuggle into him further. He was so happy in that moment. He finally understood why this was the happiest place on the world.

You guys know what time it is - shitty Star Wars headcanons 16! Pretty sure it’s 16. Anyway, this set is me scraping the barrel kinda cos I’m running out of thoughts so it’ll probably be a while til there’s more. Enjoy!
- Bly has a dad bod. Aayla loves it because he’s super strong but also a warm pillow which is great. I will not elaborate further.
- Karyn Faro has had an eyebrow slit at least once in her life and it was iconic.
- Younglings sleep in dog piles during padawan selection season to offer comfort and spend time together at the same time.
- Thrawn loves cartoons, it’s art and it’s wholesome media that is enjoyable. He’s a giant fan of Lilo and Stitch especially, and after this many years Eli has to agree that it’s a beautiful film.
- Clone troopers have “intergration weeks” where cadets and shinies essentially complete work experience with an existing clone battalion. This week, for cadets, includes camping and nerf wars. For shinies, camping and paintball. It’s the 501st’s favorite week because it’s fun, fairly relaxing and they get to spend time with younger brothers outside of a war zone. Plus, hero worship from younguns is always fun.
- Anakin used to host a kahoot after briefings to make sure everyone was paying attention. Echo scored the highest in the history of the 501st, but he will never admit that he just guessed every answer and it was a complete fluke.
- Mace Windu has tiny round reading glasses and the council only knows because, despite him keeping them secret for years, little Caleb Dume brought them to him one day during a meeting to make sure he didn’t get a headache because he’s a good grandpadawan.
- Because of all the hand stands they do during their training, a lot of Jedi like being upside. This has lead to Ahsoka, Anakin and Obi-wan being yelled at a lot of times by Padme and Satine for getting boot prints on the back of the sofa cos they watched tv upside down together as a family.
- When Kanan was finding balance again after he lost his sight, a loth cat began following him around because of the vibes he was putting out into the world. The ghost crew called it his “seeing eye loth-cat”. When he died, and the wolves started to follow and watch over Ezra, they were dubbed the “seeing eye loth-wolves”, as they were Kanan’s last connection to the world.
- Somewhere, deep in the depths of Eli Vanto’s hard drive, is footage of Thrawn on one of his days off, in nothing but a long shirt, boxers and thick socks, sliding around his Chimaera office floor to “Old time Rock and Roll” like that one scene in Risky Business. Eli is saving it for a special occasion, most likely Admiral Ar’alani’s birthday, because he knows that all of Thrawn’s friends - both Imperial and Ascendancy - will be there, and the Chiss keeps saying that he’s impossible to embarrass.
- Fives was terrified of spiders, so Echo always used to take them outside when they got into their rooms. After living with the Bad Batch, that became Echo’s job again because the only one on that ship not scared of spiders is Omega, and she’s too short 90% of the time.
That’s all I’ve got, I’m rewatching rebels so there’s a lot of Kanan and Thrawn smooshed in there, but I hope you enjoyed lads! As always, my inbox and asks are always open so feel free to share thoughts!
