You do know it kind of makes a similar reference to Treasure planet, when Jim Hawkins dad leaves him and his mother. Right? Anyways I was , for a question did you get it as a reference for Zeke's dad or you just came up with it?

Doverstar Treasure Planet was my favorite Disney film for a long time growing up, but no, Zeke's family situation isn't inspired by Jim's family situation. The reality is that far too many men who should be there for their children and wives leave and don't fulfill their role. Zeke's dad is sadly part of a terrible real-life trend spanning generations. Losing family and gaining new family is something of a theme in Lilo and Stitch's franchise. Mertle's dad isn't in the picture, Stitch was made as the first of a new species and has no organic ties, Mason is adopted, Lilo and Nani are orphans. But Mertle has her mother and Gigi, Stitch was redeemed and found his own family to belong to, Mason has Mrs. Bridge and the Pelekai family, Nani married David and started a family of her own, and she and Lilo will always have each other as well as Jumba, Pleakley, Stitch, David, Kai, Ani, and the rest of their family! That's part of what ohana means.

Yes, absolutely! She’s Ani Lau on her birth certificate, but everyone in Kokaua Town calls her Ani Pelekai because they associate her with Lilo and Nani. If you ask Lilo, her daughter’s name is Ani Lau. If you ask Ani, she’d also say her name is Ani Lau. Really, she’ll answer to both! It’s not that complicated! But please note it’s never hyphenated.

So how does Yuna and Ai appear in your headcanon fanfic? Do they exist or...?

Doverstar The answer to this has been posted many times if you look through the 'asked' tag in the blog. Yuna is not mentioned and does not appear in this headcanon, and Ai is canon in this headcanon, but the events of Stitch and Ai happened back when Lilo was still a kid, and Ai is also never mentioned, nor does she appear in this headcanon.

What do you guys think of the new Lilo and Stitch comic book series from Greg Pak and Giulia Giacomino?

Doverstar I've read it and I love the art style! I don't think Arti has seen it yet. It's fine - it's nice to see extra L&S content, even if the plot sounds too similar to Stitch and Ai. I wouldn't consider it canon, exactly, but it's cute and I'm glad to see something else Lilo is included in!

They would be in such hot water with their mothers and Ohana if this ever happened. And neither of them would ever want Ani to actually get physically hurt! Of course it would be an accident if that happened. But luckily she's surrounded by heroes (Lilo, Stitch, Jumba, Pleakley, Nani, and David have all faced all kinds of crazy serious danger) so there's very little chance any harm would actually befall her in the presence of her family. Kai and Mason would be horrified regardless. I will say, though, that their relationship(s) with Ani do not start improving until much later in the Stitch and Ani story. Mason's relationship with her in particular grows into a romantic one much futher down their timeline; years after the main Stitch and Ani story ends. This headcanon situation where they may or may not put Ani in accidental serious danger would not be the catalyst for an improved relationship; there are already plans set for that development!

Headcanon: Lilo taking selfies of her and her college friends?

Unfortunately, no LCD art will be presented from now on unless it's just me or Arti posting it because we want to! I have had a swarm of fetishists kind of take over the art I post of Lilo's College Days, which I find completely nasty and it's morally wrong. I don't want any part of that. So if you want me to post Lilo's College Days art, you'll just have to wait for it to happen organically because I felt like drawing it. The headcanon would be as follows: Lilo would not take selfies with her friends because she's not a trend follower, and selfies became a trend in the U.S. in 2013, when Lilo was around 16-17, and she wouldn't have been interested in pointing a camera at herself in any way. She likes taking pictures of other people! :)

Doverstar Never really thought about it! I bet you there's merch somewhere of that from the Disney Parks. I know I've seen a pin of Lilo as Leia before. We're not really interested in that sort of crossover, though! We're telling our own story here.
