genuinely so glad you asked, i could never deny you an HP 🧡 @michael-rrodent also asked for them AND i threw in modern johnny as well since @penny-lane-123 and @spacejasontodd requested him!

this is them as they'd appear in my silly little modern diego lore; HP is diego's first true love that he meets at cambridge :')) they're a religious studies student who knocks some sense into diego and convinces him to follow his dreams and figure himself out. they also have tattoos and they give diego all his piercings, which starts off as a dare but eventually becomes a very intimate bonding experience. HP graduates and moves to italy, the two both agree they can't do long distance BUT they stay best friends and HP is diego's go-to for advice for years and years after their relationship. in any au where they aren't dating, i love the two of them as amicable exes.

and johnny.. WELL, he's diego's childhood best friend and awkward first gay kiss 💀 they're both teenagers trying to figure out life and unfortunately johnny does not appreciate the gesture so he ghosts diego for years.. i like to think they eventually start talking again, even if it happens as a result of diego giving him shit when he finds out johnny is dating gyro.

diavolo is a difficult character to work with in general when it comes to fanon (particularly mixing/matching him with other characters). even i have trouble really imagining it beyond shitposts and like... random death loop scenarios. not much you can do with a character whose main thing is "avoids everyone" while keeping it from feeling off in some way

#rambles #it's also a big part of what makes him incredibly interesting as a character to me lol #part of why a lot of diavolo fanon tends to lack appeal for me personally #i see all those jojo villain roommate AUs and i can only look at the diavolos and go ''ok but he wouldn't do that''#i think the most accurate roommate diavolo (sans doppio) to me is a diavolo that locks himself in his room all day and exits out the window #and nobody in the house ever sees him despite them all knowing he's there at least #his only tells are that food seems to disappear when no one is looking and sometimes the furniture looks a bit shuffled every morning #diavolo jjba #vento aureo

so Ik this is not an account for words and stuff (I’ll repost this on my place for words account) but because the VA ending left me so unsatisfied and wanted an ending where by means of making the laws of stands all screwy, Giorno brings everyone back with Gold Experience Requiem. I don’t have it all figured out but like there’s like ten side stories about all the members of team.bucciarati and its like balls insane Mista fucking hates Giorno and like tried to kill him uh Giorno has a mental breakdown and like starts sobbing infront of Fugo because he feels guilty about destroying teams bucciarati and like killing off half of Mista’s (found) family Bucciarati has PTSD and chooses to distance himself from everyone and lives in his childhood home with Trish also for some odd reason. Like i said. Balls insane. It’s still angsty as hell but uh there’s funny parts too for example Mista, Giorno , Fugo and Trish all hit their growth spurts at the same time and now all of them are at least 1.75m (5 foot 7 inches) and almost as tall (if not taller) than Bucciarati so when all of the sad angsty shit is over and they meet up again Bucciarati is just freaking out because Holy Shit since when did everyone get so TALL??? Narancia is like the only one who hasn’t grown at all an Bucciarati is honestly SO relieved that he isn’t actually the shortest person amongst all of them.

I have so many Jojo AU ideas I don't think I'm gonna write because I'm terrible at writing long fics (commiting to a long work is so hard and I never finish) but I really wanted to share these ideas :(

I have such a cool take on Suzi Q that only makes sense entirely inside an AU that would mean rewriting most of Stardust Crusaders and like. do I want to rewrite sdc?? No, it's 48 fucking episodes, but I want to get these ideas out in the open so baddddd

So the ending of Stone Ocean really got me thinking about my AU and now theres so much more that I want to add into it. Especially with however Diavolo and Rallen are going to track down Giorno.

So all of this MiH shit that I gotta think about has made my brain buzz nonstop for the past almost two days. My AU takes place in the Irene-verse, I planned it this way, it was intentional.

My whole point with this is that, even though I didn’t fully understand MiH when creating this AU, now that the anime has explained it a bit more, I see that my interpretation of it is basically almost correct…with some bending of the rules simply for plot reasons. This then explains why in my AU that Bruno, Abbacchio, and Narancia exist and are alive. It also goes along with that whole concept of fate that those three will inevitably meet no matter what, including meeting Mista, Fugo, and Giorno. While under different circumstances, the six of them meet be caused thats what was destined to happen.

Now how does this tie into Rallen and Diavolo?

Diavolo was always fated to find those arrows from the very beginning. He’s the reason why the Joestars and Dio manifested stands in the first place. He’s the cause for part 3 onwards. Of course, Diavolo isn’t aware of how selling those arrows to Enya could have eventually caused the universe to reset twice in a row, all he knew is that he needed only one of them. And that arrow, gave him a stand with the ability to see/travel through a short period of time to prepare himself/Doppio for their inevitable fate(ex. That fight with Risotto Nero).

During the final battle between Giorno and Diavolo, Dia uses Epitaph and sees what Giorno’s fate is supposed to be, Diavolo is absolutely certain of this win, theres nothing that should be able to change it, right? Wrong, because Giorno stabbed himself with the stand arrow and gained Gold Experience Requiem, a stand which exists outside of time itself, which is a huge problem for Diavolo because this means that although fate is technically correct, how can fate be accurate when one exists outside of the fabric of reality?

By using Requiem to his advantage, Giorno bent the rules and seemingly changed his fate. However, once again, fate always comes out on top, Giorno just merely bought himself time, just like he did with Bruno all the way back at San Giorgio(Bruno was already dead, he was just a walking and talking zombie at that point bc Diavolo already killed him). Giorno’s ultimate fate is to be killed by Diavolo, or in this case, Cremisi, the fusion of Rallen and Diavolo, because that was the original prediction of Epitaph all the way back in 2001. Giorno didn’t change his fate, he bought himself time. Diavolo’s fate was never to die infinite deaths until the end of time itself, Diavolo’s fate was to be victorious in the battle between him and Giorno and to remain the most powerful stand user in all of Italy and the entirety of the Mafia.

Even in the original universe, Rallen was going to end up meeting Diavolo, albeit under completely different circumstances. But thats only if Giorno didn’t buy himself those extra 21 extra years by throwing Diavolo into the infinite death loop.

And once again, due to fate, Bruno, Abbacchio, and Narancia will die…eventually. Maybe it’ll be under better circumstances? Maybe Giorno will be the one to kill them this time around instead of Diavolo?

Currently thinking about the Dio X Reader AU draft I made where I researched ancient Greco-Roman history and the geography of the Mediterranean to create a mythology for an unnamed island where Dio was worshipped as a god and you were one of his immortal followers. The island had only been excavated as an anthropological project in modern times, and the entire narrative of DIO and the reader was told through discovery and analysis of artifacts by the excavation team.

But then in part 3 DIO gave me such an astronomical ick when he had that shitty hairstyle and lipstick combo so I stopped writing the fic 💀

Alright so I was just having some late night ramblings about the au and the power level of witches and warlocks in it with Kaz. I decided to share the ramblings here so you guys can have an idea of the strength scale. I got permission from Kaz to post this!

Side note: If you don’t know, Aine is the Fairy Queen in Irish folklore.

As a reminder, the ranking scale of a mage from weakest to strongest, to literal bullshit levels of strength are:

Recruit - Novice - Advisory - Veteran (Only 10% of the population makes it here) Your own Rank (About 1% of population) - Council (Only 5 members)

Ramblings:

I'm sure we made it abundently clear that witches and warlocks are one of the most powerful beings in the universe in our au. I'm gonna make it that dragons are one of the few that can rival a high ranking mage's power~

Kaz:

Yeah, that sounds good~

Me:

Any other magical being: Can go head to head with lower rank. Mermaids: If a mage is trapped in their domain they can deal with low rank, mid rank if they're competent Fairies: Can go head to head with mid rank Fairies with the blood of Aine: Can go head to head with mid and high rank Dragons: High rank? Council? Finally, a worthy fight.

And now… stand users: I dunno it fuckin depends on your stand :v

Kaz:

So basically, Dragons are here to keep Granny in line. XD and oh yeah, stands range from Heart Lock to FUCKING MADE IN HEAVEN

Me:

Hamon users: Low rank, but if they're competent like Joseph, Lisa Lisa, and Kazuno, they can also go head to head with mid rank. If they're a hamon user with a stand like Joseph…uhhh I'd still say Mid rank because high ranks and above are literally just bs levels of powerful XD

Kaz:

Hehe, nice~ that's still a lot of power to be able to take on! Witches and warlocks have their OWN world and power scale for a reason XDD

Me:

Yeah exactly X'D

In range of stands? Star Platinum could go mid. He could also do high but it'd be a headache and a half.

Gold Experience Requiem. I say Requiem because this is the only way I could say you could confidently kill a high rank witch without being a magical being yourself. GER could go against high rank. Probably survive a council encounter but he'd have to be really lucky to actually land a hit on any of them. The only one I think he could actually hit is Fernande because of her big ass spider body.

Made in Heaven: laughs in resets the universe Well, Granny Ann would probably challenge him as the only "survivor" if hes going against her specifically. I doubt there would be a winner here, they're even.

However, since Star Platnium Requiem is literally canon in the au, once SP reaches Requiem he could probably go head to head with the council but I don't think he could go higher than Fernande and Jurgen.

As a refreshers, the council order is:

Granny Ann: Time

Ayane: Hope

Giglio: Despair

Jurgen: Fortitude

Fernande: Illusion

This being order of power with Ann being the oldest, Fernande being the youngest, and Ayane being in the middle. Giglio is Ann's granddaughter and the only reason Ayane is stronger is because of her raw talent. (She's also Ann's favorite thus explaining why she can rebel against the council without being killed.)

Kaz:

They'd have to be saying their prayers though. Star isn't to be trifled with in his normal form.

Ann plays favourites, no dignity.

Me:

Lmao XD

And I guess I might as well say this as I have revealed fae blood in the human world existing because fairies be fucking humans lmao:

Yasha and Saki: If brought to the dark realm their fae blood would awaken and they'd be the normal fae level

Shanna and Rose: They have the blood of Aine flowing through them so they'd be awaken as royal fae level

Does this happen? I have no plans to make such a thing happen but it is still fun to think about~

Ok, but I Ombra would have the biggest crush on modern day!AU Hot Pants (as much as I love SBR, the setting is really not my cup of tea: no self insert of mine would have anything to do with the race sgsiwudhskdb).

The guilt that her stoic appearance conceals would attract Ombra immediately. Plus, she fits straight into one of my Ombra's types.

As I'm writing this, it all comes together in my mind.

Hot Pants, Diego and Johnny are foreign students in Italy. Hot Pants and Gyro both study Medicine. Diego has moved from London to work on his thesis, on Roman Law, under the supervision of one of the most prestigious experts on the matter. Johnny is an archeologist.

In this AU Ombra works part-time as a librarian as she's pursuing her Master's degree. They all meet at the library of the department of Ancient History and Literature: both Diego and Johnny need to consult the materials, whereas Hot Pants and Gyro are just looking for a chill place to study.

Chaos ensues when Gyro dares to bring a cup of coffee in the library and Ombra has to remind him that it is against the rules. She politely asks him to go outside to finish his beverage. He tries to flirt his way out of this situation, but Ombra takes her job too seriously to allow him to get away with it.

GOD I NEED TO DRAW/WRITE THIS.
