Ok, but I Ombra would have the biggest crush on modern day!AU Hot Pants (as much as I love SBR, the setting is really not my cup of tea: no self insert of mine would have anything to do with the race sgsiwudhskdb).

The guilt that her stoic appearance conceals would attract Ombra immediately. Plus, she fits straight into one of my Ombra's types.

As I'm writing this, it all comes together in my mind.

Hot Pants, Diego and Johnny are foreign students in Italy. Hot Pants and Gyro both study Medicine. Diego has moved from London to work on his thesis, on Roman Law, under the supervision of one of the most prestigious experts on the matter. Johnny is an archeologist.

In this AU Ombra works part-time as a librarian as she's pursuing her Master's degree. They all meet at the library of the department of Ancient History and Literature: both Diego and Johnny need to consult the materials, whereas Hot Pants and Gyro are just looking for a chill place to study.

Chaos ensues when Gyro dares to bring a cup of coffee in the library and Ombra has to remind him that it is against the rules. She politely asks him to go outside to finish his beverage. He tries to flirt his way out of this situation, but Ombra takes her job too seriously to allow him to get away with it.

Nobody asked, but I think about how different the ending of Steel Ball Run would've been if Diego and Hot Pants escaped their fatal encounter with Valentine and teamed up with Johnny and Gyro.

Some fan art for an amazing SBR AU fic I read on AO3 called Wolf Like Me by 3kanite!

1000% yall should drop by and read all their work, I love their stuff so much!

So this is for a werewolf AU of Steel Ball Run! And these are some of the wolves that appear in the fic:

Black wolf, pink background:

Hot Pants, described as a black/ dark wolf with yellow eyes

Blond wolf, blue background:

Diego Brando, described as an almost white or light colored wolf with a skinny, light build and blue eyes. I interpreted that as a light blond colored wolf

Brown wolf, green background:

Gyro Zeppeli, described as a large brownish wolf with a muscular build and green eyes

He was specifically said to have counter shading (darker top, lighter belly) so I added some lighter grays and creams to his coat for variety :)

Anyways, I really hope 3kanite likes this!! I genuinely LOVED your fic and since it was SBR AND WOLVES I had to draw this for you.

My fan character Sunrise Valentine, daughter of the President of the USA, and Gyro Zeppeli 🤧 I hope you like it.

Sunrise is 12 y/o. Sunrise has a Stand, called Strawberry Fields, is a gun that can shoot strawberries and grow them on any surface. When the roots are planted on a person, they are able to damage the target by expanding their roots into their body.

She does not have a mother (not because she has died), because she was born of a seed created from the blood of Valentine and Diavolo (yes, the same Diavolo of part 5, do not try to find a sense lol)
