won’t give real story spoilers to a comic none of my followers reads but marcus’ life SUCKS and he does most of it to himself... imagine being like “ah man i think my girlfriend maria is cheating on me with this guy stefano. time to cheat on HER with this girl jayla who’s like totally into me” and then he walks in on jayla making out with his ex-girlfriend saya and he’s like “well FINE guess i’m going to bed cuz i’m so depressed about this” and then walks in on viktor, a guy who was homophobic toward him since the BEGINNING, sucking off stephen (who was hitting on marcus like two issues ago). confirmed bitchless in the saddest way possible.

#the relationship drama interspersed with hardcore action and trauma dumping really does it for me

Guess who went to RCCC again!!!

Went for the weekend with some friends again this year (my phone wasn’t designated camera this time around, so unfortunately I don’t have pictures of the others to post), and spent two of the three days cosplaying Gandy Dancer from TAZ: Dust! I was incredibly happy with how it turned out, and I felt pretty good wearing it lol. I even got recognized by someone when I went to ask for a picture of their cosplay, so that felt really good!!

I spent most of my time making the clothes for Uncle Oni and drawing and painting the design onto the front of the book, but honestly I also got really lucky with the things I found for my own clothes.

But yeah! It was a great weekend and I bought more shit than I probably should have whoops, and I saw a lot of people with amazing cosplays! If you happened to see me (or if I came up to you to ask for a photo) feel free to give me a shout!

[ series synopsis ]

↱ lovelines, a new show produced by Heelift TV focusing on two things that tend to attract viewers, romance and food. eight young men and women live under one house and each week, the viewers will vote on the pairs they’d like to see featured in the next episode. the pairs will go on dates throughout the week and will cook a meal for the rest of the housemates. at the end of the show, each of the cast members cooks a dish with a specific person in mind. if at the final episode two people choose each other’s dish and dine together, a couple has been created. ↲

[ lee heeseung ]

— occupation(s): producer & ceo

— character background: lee heeseung is a producer and the ceo of Heelift TV. heeseung’s known as the film industry’s “ace” due to how he’s been able to produce entertainment that ranges from award-winning movies to animations for little kids on UTube. while Lovelines is being produced and broadcasted under his company, he isn’t allowed to edit or view any of the footage related to the show due to how it may give him unfair advantages. the reason heeseung decided to be a part of Lovelines’s cast rather than its production and editing out of pure curiosity and wanting a break from work.

[ park jongseong ]

— occupation(s): fashion designer / owner of an online shopping mall

— character background: park jongseong, better known as jay is a fashion designer who opened his own online shopping mall called Rock Chic. along with his own online shopping mall, jay owns a clothing brand known as JS Fits and an eyewear brand, Eagle Eyes. initially, jay wasn’t interested in joining Lovelines. but after thinking on it and realizing that it could serve as an opportunity for free promotion of his companies, he decided to take the chance.

[ sim jaeyun ]

— occupation(s): veterinarian

— character background: sim jaeyun, better known as jake, has always had a special love for animals and because of it, was interested in becoming a vet for as long as he could remember. he currently owns and works at Jayla’s Pet Hospital, healing families one pet at a time. jake joined Lovelines wanting to meet new people and make new friends.

[ park sunghoon ]

— occupation(s): ice skating teacher

— character background: park sunghoon was previously a two-time olympic gold medalist in ice skating but due to an injury, had to leave the national team. not wanting to stop ice skating entirely, sunghoon became an ice skating instructor teaching little kids and owns his own ice skating rink called Skates & Snow. similar to jay, he was initially disinterested in joining Lovelines. however, when his sister sent in an application for him and he got accepted, he decided to follow through with it.

[ y/n l/n ]

— occupation(s): restaurant owner & freelance writer

— character background: y/n l/n opened a restaurant called Love Through Food straight out of high school and has gained some recognition on social media over the years for her daily changing menu and the cooking classes that she offers. she’s published a few books under a pseudonym and has done fairly well for herself despite how writing isn’t her main job. interested more in the food aspect that the show offered rather than the romance, y/n joined Lovelines.

[ choi jisu ]

— occupation(s): fashion major (still in school), part-time stylist

— character background: choi jisu, better known as lia, has always had fashion set out for her as the career she wanted to go into. while being a student who majors in fashion, she’s occasionally given the opportunity to work as a stylist for fashion shows due to her connections. lia joined Lovelines interested in getting to see various people’s fashion styles to broaden her perspective and learning how to cook better.

[ kim mae ]

— occupation(s): dance instructor

— character background: kim mae works as a dance instructor teaching young kids and operating in her own dance studio, Curtain Calls. she runs the dance studio with her older brother and has been dancing all her life. hoping to finally get over her first love, mae joined Lovelines.

[ park jiako ]

— occupation(s): flower shop owner & artist

— character background: park jiako owns a shop called Petals & Prints which is a flower shop but also a place where she sells her own artwork of various types. in terms of the art world, jiako’s gone as far as publishing her comics and creating book covers to having her own art exhibitions in different countries. jiako joined Lovelines in hopes of finding some inspiration for art as well as to be a part of something entirely new and interesting.

Happy Aro week from my aro ocs!! Left to right: Az (they/them), lovely greyromantic & demisexual post apocalyptic lad from my End Behavior comic; Jayla (she/her), an old dnd character of mine, who is an aroace paladin to the deity of love, and a part of a larger group of aspec fantasy adventurers; The Aromantic TM (he/him) (yes that’s his name), another dnd character and an earth genasi spore druid who’s just. covered in shrooms. Just a walking rock-person with some mushrooms. Love that for him

What characters in DC comics are ace ? I can only really think of Tremor from The Movement (new52) but like cmon there’s gotta be more than 1 character right

She’s the only one we know of, yeah. We keep our masterlist pretty updated and there’s only six ace characters on there overall (Tremor from DC, Nadia van Dyne from Marvel, Jayla from Princeless, Jughead Jones from Archie Comics, Hyperon from The Pride, and Dionysus from The Wicked + The Divine). If anyone knows about more, we’d love to hear about it!
