And there we have it, all thirty fighters from our hypothetical Adventure Zone platform fighter. I've loved making these, and may return to add some "DLC" at some point (gotta get the Steeplechase player characters, right?), but for now we're gonna leave it here.

12 Balance reps, 6 Amnesty reps, 5 Graduation reps, 4 Ethersea reps, and one each from Dust, Commitment, and Dadlands. Let me know who you'd main, what you'd like to see as hypothetical DLC for this hypothetical game, or any other thoughts!

Welcome to the blog for the independent The Adventure Zone wiki!

We are a fan-run encyclopedia hosted by Miraheze, a free, volunteer-run ad-free wiki hosting platform, based on MediaWiki, the same software Wikipedia runs on.

The Adventure Zone wiki was started on Fandom.com in 2015, and was edited as the show started airing. In April and May of 2023, the active users migrated all data to the new platform.

We currently stand as a HUGE work in progress. Virtually every page needs extreme edits, and we are working on setting up several editing guides and making those accessible. You should see a lot of changes in the coming months.

In the meantime while we wait for these organization techniques to come together, and for style guides to be updated, you can peruse the pages and add any missing information you notice.

taz news update from this week’s ttaazz

first and foremost: taz is going weekly again!

next week there will be a live show, i forgot which one but it’s not balance (eta: it’s “just us 2″)

the week after that begins a short, five episode season of dust… that’s right, baby, we’re going back!!!

episodes zero and one will go up on the same day. the entire thing has already been recorded.

travis will be reprising his role as dm

justin is also reprising his role as augustus parsons, the nut-ceo/ ghost

griffin will be playing indrid cold, the mothman (?!?!?!)

they joked about crossovers but i don’t know if this is amnesty’s indrid, or a mothman unique to the world of dust

oh and erika ishii will be joining them as a guest!!!

AFTER THAT

justin will be dm-ing the next long-form campaign of the adventure zone. they are playing blades in the dark.

it is called taz: steeplechase, and takes place in an unfathomably large and beautiful resort-slash-city-state which is separated into different theme park-like areas, where the uber wealthy go to live out their wildest fantasies. it is run by a single family.

pcs have not been created yet, but the general idea is that they will be scoundrels trying to carve out a place for themselves in this world “below the surface”

justin wants them to be irreverent and nasty. no decent people. he missed being able to murder fools like they did in balance. these are going to be some bad guys doing bad things. let’s get fucking nasty

Specifically THEME music, this isn't about the rest of the soundtrack (or the rest of the campaign for that matter). I’m excluding Balance both so as not to bias the results, and cuz the theme’s not original music.

I wanted to compile all the characters I've done for my hypothetical Adventure Zone platform fighter, so here's a sort of mock character select screen with the sixteen fighters I've done so far!

So far we've got eight Balance reps, four Amnesty reps, and one each from Graduation, Ethersea, Dust, and Commitment. But I've got a bunch of half-finished moveset concepts for characters from various seasons, so there's more to come!

oh shit it's November again

This time we are drawing cards and completing a game board! please share this post so people know what's up!

Choose a reward you can give yourself, choose a goal, and then draw cards here!

Each day you want to participate, draw a card (redraw if it isn't for you or doesn't feel right that day) and make something cool based off the prompt, like a ficlet, a playlist, visual art, an art object, a collage, or something else entirely! you can even count things like writing a detailed post about your thoughts on a given TAZ related subject, or even telling a friend about a real good daydream you dreamed real hard.

The point is that we get through November, have a good time, and think about TAZ. It's entirely self-paced, and self driven, no quotas, no deadlines, no stress. just making, sharing, enjoying.

If you want to share your work, @ this blog, @taznovembercelebration, and I'll reblog it when I can! November is crazy, which is why we want to help each other through it.
