Pairing: Will Turner x F!Reader, Jack Sparrow x F!Reader (Platonic)
That imbecile had left you with Barbossa, and the thought of having to deal with his monkey's stupid chattering had nearly driven you to madness. Seizing any opportunity available, you had found yourself a small boat and began your search for Sparrow. You weren't expecting much from him, considering you were technically a part of his crew - the rest were with Barbossa. Not that it made any difference, though, because at the moment you were without a captain and unfortunately in the eyes of a few redcoats who eyed you, warily. They drew their rifles closer to themselves, marching over with some fire in their eyes.
"Oh, curse me," You muttered underneath your breath, throwing your hat into the water below, before carefully stepping onto a dock. Your foot dangled helplessly onto the boat, almost causing you to lose your balance. Gesturing for a soldier to come help you, you grabbed hold of his arm and hoisted yourself up onto the wooden platforms and sighed in relief, thanking them with false kindness.
"Enough, enough," One of them grumbled, rolling his eyes. He sneezed, the droplets of his mucus flying past you as you cringed at the sight. Despite being a pirate, you still had at least a little bit of hygiene left in you during your days as a "proper" lady. "What brings a girl like you to Port Royal, especially in that poor excuse of a boat?"
You followed the soldier's fingers to the vessel, noticing the way a few splinters poked out from the oars. It was a ghastly sight and a miracle that it had managed to take you this far without sinking. Shaking your head, you came up with the best excuse you could think of,
"I was robbed by a pirate. I was hoping at least one of you would show some mercy and help me find that treacherous man."
"Was it Jack Sparrow?" Another soldier chimed in, his voice so delicate as he uttered the name.
"Precisely!" You whispered, excitedly as you wriggled your eyebrows, "Have you seen him lurking about here? I ought to give him a piece of mind!"
"Now, now, listen here, you don't have to do anything," The third soldier cried out with an exasperated sigh, "As misfortunate as your encounter with Sparrow must be, I implore you to go find yourself an inn for the time being." He had this air of haughtiness in his voice, one that made your frown deepen into a snarl. Biting the inside of your cheek, you pushed any emerging ill comments at him down to your boots and merely nodded your head in response.
Pushing past the soldiers, you trailed up the staircase to the cobbled streets of Port Royal and found a group of more soldiers running down the streets from The Governor's quarters. Frowning, your faintly heard the mention of Jack Sparrow among one of the redcoats that passed by you and you instantly figured out what was going on.
Crossing through an alley, you found a familiar set of beads dangling from an individual's head, hiding behind a wagon; he occasionally lifted his head to peer for any danger, unaware of your presence behind him.
"AHEM," You crossed your arms, glaring at him. Either he was ignoring you on purpose, or he was incredibly deaf and stupid. Rolling your eyes, you slapped the back of his head and watched him hurl into the wagon with a yelp of pain. He turned around on his heels, swiftly, narrowing his eyes for a moment to scan your face. Upon recognition, he grinned and held his hands up in the air,
"(Y/N)! Sweetheart, what are you doing here?" He exclaimed, holding onto your hands. You wriggled out of his grasps, before slapping him across his face, sharply.
"You moron! You left me aboard Barbossa's ship! After everything we've been through, I thought you were a brother to me! Family! You've decided to lurk about and be the prying little-"
"Whoa... now, love, we don't have much time to listen to your usual rants, do we?" Jack interjected your thoughts, raising a finger up. He swayed towards you, looking over your shoulder to ensure that there were no redcoats nearby. His eyes then glanced back towards you, "Listen, I think we should split ways and then meet up back at the docks. What do ya say?"
"I say no," You hiss, "I don't trust your words. We go together, or I'll throw you to the soldiers myself!"
"Darlin', you're a pirate too. You're only doing yourself a disservice here," Jack scoffed, and you clutched onto his collar,
"Try me. You cross me one more time, I won't care if you're my captain or like a brother to me, I shall drive my sword through your head and watch you scream for mercy." You threatened him, before shoving him off. Jack dusted his coat, creasing out the new wrinkles you caused with what he assumed was an indifferent expression on his face - he couldn't hide the slight fear your words caused him.
As you extended your hand out for Jack to accept, the thunderous footsteps of the redcoats just around the corner caused you both to pick your feet up and run. Jack had hopped over among the roofs, and you had run inside a blacksmith's keep. Grabbing a sword from the sleeping blacksmith, you were set to head back out when you had noticed a shadow emerge from the other side of the door.
"Oh, bollocks," You whisper, in a panicked tone, leaping behind a wooden table somewhere far enough for cover. You heard the footsteps of someone patter across the room, shifting through some equipment before they loudly whispered,
"Not where I left you..."
Ah, so it was a man. And judging by the sound of his voice, he was pretty young. You peered, carefully, from the table and noticed his ponytail, and his well-fitted yet a bit dirty clothes. He wasn't bad-looking, surprisingly. He tapped his foot, impatiently, before drawing out his own sword and turned to your hiding spot. Sighing in defeat, you stood up from the cramped place and stretched your arms with a lazy yawn, stalking over to him.
"You're a pirate," He spat, his sword dragging up and down the air as he gestured at you.
"I'm also a lady. Now, this can go two ways. Either you let me go and I find myself back to Jack Sparrow, or I kill you... and find myself back to Jack Sparrow." You reasoned, forcing a smile at him as you made your way to the exit. Within seconds, you felt the tip of the blade against your chin, turning your head to face him. He had a deathly glare on his face but his eyes spoke of something else. Seeing that there was no way out of this without blood being shed, you raised an eyebrow,
"Come now, love, must there be hostility? Fine then, have it your way." You spat, before dragging your sword and jabbing it towards his stomach. He deflected my attack, and swung his sword around towards your neck. Dodging backwards, you lunged forward and elbowed his gut before parrying the thrust of his sword. He fell back for a moment, catching his breath as he shook his head,
"That's cheating." He breathed out between pants.
"Well, that's life, and now help a lady out and let her escape." You snickered, prying his fingers off his sword.
"Ah, but that's where you're mistaken... you're a pirate." The young man smirked, and the front door swung open with Jack at the hands of the redcoats, a sheepish look attached to his stupid face. Glancing back to the now standing young man, you found yourself handcuffed and dragged off with Jack besides you.
William didn't fail to notice your menacing glare as you were taken away and he let out a proud smirk at the sight. And yet, something felt wrong. In all the years as a blacksmith's apprentice, nothing had excited him as much as this encounter had. He turned to the burning furnace, his thoughts fixated on seeing you.
For one more time, at least.

Imagine being a pirate, and not only an ordinary one, but the only child of the legendary Jack sparrow, you were the only thing that he’d never leave behind, never trade, never give up. You were his constant companion, the inly one he entrusted everything to. You would sail the sea together, through storms and calm, adventure and everyday life. To say you’d inherited just half of his insanity would be an understatement, you were like a carbon copy of Jack, maybe not in looks but in personality for sure. You were just as cray as him and it was as if the two of you could read each other’s mind, always on the same page and always following the same plan. He taught you everything and anything he knew, how to handle a blade as well as a pistol, how to make trades in your favour and how to escape any situation. You’d experienced countless adventures with your father and you’d been locked up in every possible way, but still, you escaped with Jack, because he’d never leave you behind. And now, you sail the seven seas with you father as captain of the black pearl and you being his fist mate. Forever until you are taken by the sea.

so I’m binging Pirates of the Caribbean & I am obsessed with an AU of WillTurner!Aegon x ElizabethSwan!reader, or just something under those lines. AHHH THE ANGST!!! like imagine Aegon being determined to save you vs saving his family (cause he truly does rise up to the occasion with heart) & they end up sacrificing the love of your life, literally his heart carved out & you delegated keep it safe, only to see him every 10 years 🥲🥲🥲🥲 maybe dragons can be intertwined (if there’s a will, there’s a way I’ll do it)!!!
and Aemond being like a Jack Sparrow-esque character & he takes care of reader (platonic or slow burn romance eventually, you decide)… but I reckon it could work vice versa as Aemond in the position of Will Turner…

summary: Johnny had decided he'd tell you his real feelings for you but seeing you kiss Chris Evans on a movie set, he began to wonder if that was the best idea.

Johnny had a package of your favorite food with him as he was guided to the set by a crew member.
He had come to visit you during your shoot. It has been this way for the two months. He would come whenever he could before lunchtime, and bring you food so you and him could have the lunch in your trailer, spend some time with eachother. Being best friends for more than a decade had its advantages.
Today was nothing new. Except that hee had determined that he would ask you put on a proper date.
He knew maybe you'd turn him down seeing how you've been friends for the past fifteen years. And also the fact that there was a 15 years age gap between you two. You met him when you co-starred with him in one of Tim Burton's movies. From then on, you became best of friends. Staying with him through thick and thin, talked him out of his stress, helped him when he had severe anxiety, held him close to you. You were basically his calm in the storm.
The fans loved your friendship too. All these facts but Johnny believed maybe, just maybe he would have a chance with you. Stupid idiot heart, he cursed under his breath.
When they reached the set, he saw you on your chair on your phone.
He thanked the crew and proceeded towards you. He kept quite standing behind you and screamed in your ear making you jump form the chair.
"JOHNNY!" You shouted with a smile.
You pulled him in for a hug, wrapping your arms tightly around him. He hasn't came a song day for the past week. You thought he stopped your cute little ritual understanding he had works of his own. When in reality he was just arguing with himself contemplating whether or not he should ask you on a date.
"I missed you. Where have you been? Moreover how are you? You haven't even texted me this week."
He chuckled kissing the top of your head. "I was busy, Y/n." He looked around the studio, people still rushing to do their work. "Isn't it time for the lunch break?"
"Huh? Oh yeah. We have to film a shot then we could have the break."He nodded.
He was talking to you as usual when he spotted Chris Evans walking towards the two of you.
He had met Chris in one of your Marvel movie premiers. They became fast friends. Johnny liked him, lovely bloke. But the fact that he was working with you on a project togethe made him a bit jealous.
It wouldn't have mattered to him if this was a year ago but ever since Johnny accepted his feelings for you, things changed. He died everyday to tell you his feelings and seeing Chris at present, he once again contemplated if he should or shouldn't ask you out. The chances are you and Chris are together. I mean, you and Chris look perfect for each other.
"What's up, Captain Jack Sparrow?" Chris shook his hand with Johnny's.
Johnny smiled in courtesy. "Not bad, Captain Rogers."
The two began to chat and you stood there smiling, occassionally piping in.
The directors announced to summon you and Chris on set. "Okay, John-John. We'll be back in like twenty minutes." You kissed Johnny on the cheek as you waved goodbye.
Johnny stood there with a smile in his face watching you do your work wonderfully. What he didn't knew was, there was a kissing scene with you and Chris.
He saw Chris pull you in by the waist and connected his lips with your plump ones. A pang of jealousy hit him.
After a few minutes the director yelled cut and you parted with Chris. To dissolve the awkwardness, Chris pulled you for a hug. It wasn't something new that you had to kiss him, but everytime it made you shy. Chris knew that.
You sighed in deeply, enjoying Chris' brotherly embrace. What you didn't notice, Johnny had clenched his jaw hard. Trying his very best to not act out. Of course he knew you were an actress and it was your job. And he hoped there were no emotions attached.
"Mr. Loverman over there is fuming, Y/n", he smirked.
You pulled yourself from the embrace and faced Johnny quickly, seeing him smile at you from distance. "Oh shut up, Evans," you smacked his arm playfully.
The lunch break was announced. You bid Chris bye as he went out to have his lunch. He knew you would have your lunch with Johnny.
You skipped over to Johnny. "How did it look?" You asked.
Johnny hesitated for a moment. "Great as usual, darling," he said.
You both stood there awkwardly. It seemed to you as if Johnny wanted to say something but wasn't quite to able to formulate the words. His face gave it away.
"You want to say something, Johnny?"
He shifted his weight form one feet to the other. "Uhh...yes actually." He paused a moment. "I was wondering...would you go out for dinner tonight? Not like our usual friend dinner date. More like...oh fuck it. I love you Y/n and I'm not able to keep that to myself anymore. You don't have to say it—"
He was cut off by your pink lips on his. It caught him by surprise, not being able to react. Feeling him not kiss you back, you thought you'd done a big mistake and began to push yourself off him when his hands clasped over your waist, pulling you in deeper. Wrapping your arms 'round his neck, the kiss began to grow hotter.
You parted from the kiss slowly, remembering people were still there. He pressed his forehead against yours, smiling brightly.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He laughed. "Oh God yes. I've smitten by you from the moment I saw you Johnny. I love you i love you I love you."
The sweet moment was broken when claps erupted thorough the studio. Turning around, you saw the crew and other actors clapping and smilling at the two of you. Your cheeks reddened and tried to hide your face in Johnny's chest.
Chris came forward. "Finally. My ship has sailed." He laughed.
Johnny laughed alongside him. "Oh Evans, shut up," you giggled.

may I request headcanons for Jack Sparrow & Davy Jones x reader who likes to sing and sometimes sings sea shanties on voyages that the crew often join in?

• You were uncertain of what started this in you, but you loved to sing.
• When you first start as a beginner, you are a little insecure about how might sound to anyone, especially to those you were closest to.
• You’ve been blessed with a beautiful soprano voice, knowing that also makes you a little nervous about messing up.
• Ever since the first time Jack Sparrow had heard you singing, he’s been trying to talk you into singing for the crew on some nights, but you would deny his request as you were in the process of building your self confidence.
• Being the gentleman he is, he respects your wishes while in the meantime, you promise him it will happen soon.
• When you’re ready to sing, you always a little nervous in the start of it and Jack Sparrow can easily sense that.
• The first time he had ever heard you sing was at the bar in Tortuga one night, which is the very night you first encounter each other.
• When Jack can’t find sleep, you will sing to him and that usually does the trick.
• When sensing just how nervous you are, he starts to get nervous for you but tries his best to hype you up so that your mind is far away from whatever it was that worried you.
• The first performance you put on for the crew, becomes a great success and you don’t realize at first that everyone loved you.

Davy Jones:
• After taking sworn oath to serve the Dutchman, you really don’t know what you’ve gotten yourself into until it’s too late.
• Your new life on the Dutchman was not as it seemed to have been. It was sheer hell and most of, if not all crew mates would initially agree with you.
• Sometimes while enduring the hard labor along with the crew, you would start singing to yourself and before you know it, you hear the voices of your crew mates as they join in.
• Singing is what gets you through the hardest of days. During your time on the Dutchman, you didn’t think singing was a crime, but after Davy hears you, he forbids everyone, mainly you, singing.
• Ever since getting chewed out, you’ve been extra cautious and always kept a lookout over your shoulder to make sure that the coast was clear.
• Davy would never admit it, but he truly thought your voice was angelic.
• He felt if he had admitted it, he would look weak.
• When you thought you were alone, Davy can still hear you. While never making his presence known, he continues to follow you around just to hear you sing.
• The crew eventually breaks the rule of no singing as they couldn’t help themselves.
• Davy may be known as cruel, but he has a soft spot for you that he will never reveal.

Y/n was just a young lass, a girl who dreamed of being a captain, the one to earn Jack’s trust. She wasn’t like any other girl who dreamed of being a princess, y/n wanted to fight, she wanted to succeed in her skills of being the captain of the pearl one day when Jack’s gone. Y/n had been a part of the crew, master Gibbs had also been keeping a close eye on y/n, he was like a second father figure.
One day while the pearl strode over the horizon of the seas, y/n was practicing her sword fighting. Jack was sitting on the top railing near the wheel, he drank the last drop of rum “Why is the rum always gone” he thought. Jack threw the last bottle of rum overboard, his eyes scanned over to y/n who was having trouble trying to fight. “Aye love, ya might as well be dead if you use the sword like that” Jack spoke over the top of the waves crashing against the pearl. “Sorry Captain, just tryna’ get my techniques right” Y/n smiled back, the one thing with y/n was she was able to bounce back. Jack hopped down off the railing and strutted over to y/n “come on y/n, why don’t cha show dear ol’ Jackie whatcha got”. Y/n stood in the middle of the ship with Jack smirking, he wanted to show y/n how to sword fight. With one lunge y/n tried to plunge her sword at Jack, he swiftly dodged and blocked y/n’s attack. Once more Y/n tried to swing her sword at Jack’s side but with no use he dodged again.
“By the seven seas Jack, you always beat me” Y/n got up off the ground, Jack smiled to himself. In his eyes he only saw a young ambitious girl who yearned for adventure “Aye love but that’s because I’ve been a captain longer”. Jack offered his hand to y/n “come on darlin’ I’ll show ya how I do it”.
Jack took his stance and taught y/n, with every swing and step she slowly learnt. Y/n swung her sword swiftly to the side of Jack and tripped him over. “what’s wrong Jack, no more rum” Y/n laughed, Jack pushed himself off the ground smirking “Now love that’s uncalled for”. Jack was proud of y/n, he saw a girl growing up into a strong captain. “You’re going to make a great captain one day” he muttered “I call in celebration ta’ ave’ a good ol’ drink of rum”. Y/n smiled and grabbed two bottles of grog “here ya go Jackie, ta us and our future”.
The two cheered each other as Jack drank the rum, he couldn’t wait to see y/n, a girl with so much potential become the next captain of the pearl.

Reader is the Commodore's sister but sick of the ways of society. When Jack saves Elisabeth, reader is the one who persuaded James not to kill Jack and also the one he happens to threat in order to escape. She’s somehow drawn to the Captain and later gives Will the keys to the cell to set him free. Jacks thoughts circle around her, too and they reunite when she swings last minute from the Dauntless over to the Interceptor to join the pirates making way❣️

"Don't slouch, stand straight," Commodore Norrington hissed at you. You glared at your brother, curving your lips downward. You hated how strict and loyal he was to the British Crown and how he enforced his rules onto you, despite being his "precious baby sister."
Your brother didn't hate you, but he sure did a good job of making you hate him. He was pacing his quarters back and forth, rehearsing what he would say to Miss Elizabeth Swann upon meeting her. You rolled your eyes at the pathetic scene, realizing that if your brother were to marry Miss Swann you were next on the list for the most eligible bachelorette in Port Royal. Your body cringed at the thought and you wriggled your back to shake off the eerie feeling crawling down your spine and focused on trying to ease your brother at the moment.
"James, there is no point in stressing over something as simple as this. Tell her you are in love with-" You began but frowned when he interjected,
"Love? Don't be ridiculous!"
"So, you're not in love with her?" You inquired, raising an eyebrow.
"No, no, I very much am in love with her. But it is not proper for a man such as myself to say trivial things to the daughter of the Governor!" Your brother reasoned and you sighed in an exasperated tone, shifting your gaze out the window.
Elizabeth had stared at you with a quizzical look on her face when your brother and you had first approached her. You both shared the same expression of disdain for the situation. It was very clear to see that she was indifferent to your brother and surely was the very last man that she had any interest for. You, on the other hand, dearly loved your brother and wanted to save him from any heartache that she would cause him. You chewed your lip nervously, watching them exchange a few words of greetings before walking away. The commodore glanced over his shoulder, mouthing a few warnings to reign your behavior in for the biggest moment of his life before stalking away.
Huffing in annoyance, you picked the ends of your dress up and marched past the Governor who was just about to start a conversation with you. He awkwardly shut his mouth and watched you walk away to stand on the other corner of the pillar where your brother and Elizabeth stood. He leaned backward to get a good look at you, sending you another glare before returning his full attention to the woman in front of him with a nervous smile. You sighed, gazing out to the sea. Your brother had taken you once beyond Port Royal when you were a little girl and he swore it was something he very much regretted; all you could ever do since then was talk about sailing the seas. You desired to travel across the world, collect artifacts, and live a free life. Your brother scoffed at your desires, stating that he would rather die than see his little sister galloping around like a pirate of all creatures.
As you gazed out into the horizons with a look of yearning, you heard the loudest splash from below. Peering over the edges of the wall, you frowned at the ripples that seemed to bloom near the rocks and you instantly pulled back from your position and walked around to notice your brother screaming Elizabeth's name.
"What did you do?" You exclaimed, resting a hand on his shoulder. He pulled away from your grasp, beginning to take his coat off but you grabbed hold of him,
"The rocks, James! She's lucky that she didn't hit them on her way down! Come, we can reach her at the docks!" You urged him, yanking his arm. He seemed instilled with distraught, at a loss for words, "She must've jumped by your mere presence!"
Your brother sent you a nasty scowl and the playful smirk on your lips faded away instantaneously. You knew this was no joking matter; the poor woman could've died on her way down and she was to be betrothed to him anyway. As your brother scampered off with the rest of the guards, you found your feet rooted to the ground as you stared up at the sky. Something was amiss. The clouds darkened and circled about gravely, and the sea no longer held its silky blue blanket to comfort you. Before you could try and comprehend what must've occurred, you felt an urgent tug around your arms and you sharply turned to find yourself facing the Governor.
"Come now, my dear, you mustn't dawdle around when my daughter's life is in danger!" He exclaimed and you frowned at his words, resisting the urge to roll your eyes at him. Even if you wanted to help Elizabeth, there was surely no way you could swim into the waters with this puffy dress around you. You followed him down to the docks, pushing past the British officers to find yourself facing Elizabeth coughing up heaps of water from her lungs and then... a pirate.
With all the rifles surrounding him, you nearly thought they were aimed at your brother who stood in the way. You could only make out half his face, oblivious to the ensuing conversation that your brother was currently engaged in. You peeked around the Commodore's shoulder, carefully eyeing the strange man in your presence when his eyes flickered over to you for a sharp second before returning to your brother. Your breath hitched at the moment, taking in his disheveled and wet appearance as your brother remained as the shield between the man and you.
"He's a pirate," Your brother growled, his jaw clenching as he barked orders for his arrest. He ignored your gaping stare as he continued, "Sparrow, I assume?"
"Jack Sparrow?" You interjected, your mouth practically on the floor as you stared at him. The corner of the pirate's lips curved into a small smirk,
"It's Captain Jack Sparrow, love," He smiled with a wink. You smiled back before your brother forcefully shoved you behind him once again. He made a mental note to have a discussion with you about your behavior as soon as you returned home. He took the pirate's belongings and derided him for his lack of proper weapons, but it bothered him so deeply that you were so enchanted by the man. It irked him to think that his sister would fall foolish to a PIRATE of all people. He forcefully grabbed onto Jack's arm and began dragging him off before you cut him off,
"James! James!" You cried out, and your brother halted in his tracks and sent you a menacing scowl.
"Not another word from you, (Y/N)." He hissed, and you scoffed before pulling your skirt up ever so slightly to march up to your brother,
"This man, pirate or not, has just saved your betrothed's life! I suggest you at least show some mercy upon him!"
"One good deed is not enough to redeem a man's life of wickedness," Your brother corrected you as Jack was being handcuffed by a Redcoat.
"Though it seems enough to condemn him," Jack added, and you offered him a sympathetic look before turning to your brother with pleading eyes.
"Brother, please. I beg of you, consider an alternative for this man." You prodded him, as your eyes fell onto Elizabeth who smiled softly at your words.
"Please do so," Jack muttered, before dragging his bound hands around your neck. You gasped in response, tugging at the chains as your brother panicked.
"No one shoots!" The Commodore bellowed, holding his hands in the air, "Let go of my sister."
"Only if you return my belongings," Jack taunted with a haughty grin. He leaned closer to lowly utter into your ears, "You must be regretting your kindness, do you not?"
"I don't, but it seems that you'll regret it," You whispered, as you watched the guards hand in his belongings in a bundle. Jack nudged your back with his knee ever so lightly to grab hold of his things and you begrudgingly did so, before sharply turning around to face him.
"Now if you'll do me the pleasure... my, I don't think I know your name..." He said with a sly smirk. You frowned at him,
"It's Miss Norrington to you," You spat, placing his hat on. As you placed his sword, belt, and other personnel around him, you could feel his intense stare burning deep into you. If it was of lust or attraction, you did not know and at the moment did not necessarily care. Your mind was fixated on other things, and your brother was seething in rage as he watched Jack give him a look regarding your body against his that made him want to hurl. To think his sister was so close to a gruesome pirate! It was preposterous!
As you tied the last remaining string of his belt around him, you looked up at him with disgust. Not only was he a pirate, but this would be the talk of the town, and your brother's and your reputation would be spoiled. Your brother could easily regain his good fortune, but you were never as lucky. You hated the way the women would gossip and to think it was all spoiled over one man you decided to be too merciful with because your curiosity could not be controlled made you ready to commit arson.
"Is this how you repay me?" You hissed and the pirate smirked at your words,
"I saved your friend's life, and now you save me. Besides, you did after all wish for me to live. Now, suffer those consequences. When shall a beautiful lady such as yourself realize to never mess with a pirate?" He chuckled, before harshly turning you around with his gun aimed at your head. Your brother flinched at the sudden movement, making sure you were alright.
"Ladies and gentlemen, you will always remember this as the day you almost caught Jack Sparrow," The pirate's voice boomed from behind you and the very next second you found yourself thrust upon your brother and Elizabeth. As Jack Sparrow hurriedly began his escape, he did not fail to include a personal message from his heart, "Thank you very much, Miss Norrington. I shall not ever forget such kindness!"
And you weren't ready to forget him, either. It would be for another reason. As the night raged on with a surge of pirates infiltrating Port Royal, you felt a growing desire to do something about it. Your brother had joined the Governor for his safety and left you at home to be tended to by the maids. Upon realizing that the front door would burst open regardless of the circumstances, you quietly slipped out the window in your nightly attire and made your way to the blacksmith's quarters where you knew for a fact that your good friend Will Smith would be. Will and you had grown as siblings; he was there for you more than your brother had been. He had anticipated your arrival anyway but found himself in jeopardy when his ears gathered the news that Elizabeth Swann had been abducted by the pirates. He was pacing around when you arrived and he quickly latched onto your shoulders,
"They've taken Elizabeth! I tried my best but-" Will began but you silenced him, bringing a hand to his mouth.
"I know what you must be going through. But there is not enough time. I heard you helped imprison Jack Sparrow." You whispered and he nodded his head, eyes wide as he tried to make the best of the situation, "Come, I have the key with me, we can both interrogate him and seek his help." Your hand fell to his own and led him towards the streets.
"Wait a minute," Will stopped you, and with a glance over your shoulder you already knew what he was about to say. He was going to prevent you from going. "(Y/N), I know you've always wished to escape Port Royal, but I cannot bring harm to you once you step foot onto the waters."
"Will," You chastised him, "I am no longer a little girl. I am very capable of handling my own matters."
"You are inexperienced, that's all I can say." Will rebuked your claim and you gasped at his words, before furrowing your brows,
"So are you!"
"Ah, but I shall be bringing Sparrow with me to help find Elizabeth."
"Oh, don't be so dull! I can help Sparrow and you as well. Do not prevent me from doing so! If it is out of fear that a pirate may do something towards a woman of my status, I assure you that no such thing will occur! If he dares to even look at me, I shall see to it that his eyes are gouged out by his blade!" You reasoned and Will took a step backwards, his lips parting in shock at your words. You had the spirit of a pirate in you that was for sure, and that was exactly what he feared.
"I cannot let you join. Your brother is... already facing loss," He replied in an awkward tone, considering how much he cared about Elizabeth, "He would be devasted to find you gone as well. Just stay put for now. I'm sure there shall be something more exciting for you in Port Royal."
You muttered a few unladylike curses under your breath and reluctantly offered him the key to the jail cell, "At least tell Sparrow that I was... delighted by his presence."
Will raised a suspicious eyebrow at your remark, unsure of how to respond. He nodded his head and then left you alone, as you brought your hands over your arms as your mind wandered towards the sea once again.
To say that Jack Sparrow was surprised by Will's statement regarding you would be an understatement. He couldn't wrap his head around the fact that you so willingly offered him the key to his escape, considering how he had humiliated your brother and especially you in front of everyone at the docks earlier in the day. He chewed his lip, his eyes dilating at the thought of you. The way you stared at him in defiance, your temples rising and falling with the way you clenched your jaw. Of course, who could forget the sensation of your fingers pressed up against him as you fastened his belt? As much of the ladies' man that Jack was, there was something different about you. You weren't like Giselle or Scarlet, complaining about superficial things or just merely trying to get into his pants. He could tell there was this curious spirit fighting to break free when he first laid eyes on you. The way you cautiously peered over your brother's shoulder had made him... well, he certainly wouldn't say his heart skipped a beat. He wasn't a silly little boy. He was a man! A grown man, a pirate! CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow, mind you. And yet here he was, trying to justify to himself that what he felt for you was nothing more than just infatuation that would surely pass on.
But it didn't. It never did. While of course, his thoughts about stealing The Interceptor were his priority, he just couldn't stand still without his mind fleeting over to the very image of you, dressed in that regal bright blue gown and your hair all curled and pinned to form the most exquisite portrait of a woman he'd ever seen in his life. He smirked to himself at the thought of you, wondering what you must be doing at Port Royal at the moment. What if your brother had you married off to someone else? What if you were to live the rest of your life as a boring wife to an equally boring officer? He shook his head, wriggling himself free from those imaginative concoctions. He was a pirate, damn it. He had better things to think about than just a woman he had seen days ago.
"You've got to be kidding me," Your brother grumbled as he pushed past you. You had boarded The Interceptor with him, not because you had wanted to - even though you took every chance out on the sea with gratefulness - but because your brother was so worried about the possibility of your abduction that he wished you were beside him at all times. Including those incredibly still moments of him gazing out into the sea. To him, he seemed to have an air of control, all the world's burdens upon his shoulder. This was his duty. When you gazed out into the sea, however, it was a plethora of possibilities. The unmarked territories you could claim, the desire for you to seek out treasure from all corners. You could be free. And no one would stop you. Save your brother, but that was something he'd always do anyway. Your attention focused on The Dauntless a couple hundred meters away as you noticed flocks of the British crew on small boats were paddling towards the ship you were in. Your brother gazed through his telescope and snarled at the sight, hesitantly passing the device for you to see as well. From afar, you saw Will Turner and... Jack Sparrow? The pirate? Both of them were flapping their arms around trying to make use of the mast. You guffawed at the sight, laughing at them. You turned to face your brother who quickly reminded you with his gaze about your behavior and you swallowed the amusement away as fast as you could.
The two ships - The Dauntless and The Interceptor - were locked horns now and your brother ordered you to come with him to board The Dauntless and put an end to Sparrow's madness. You reluctantly agreed, your eyes scanning around to see any sight of the familiar pirate you had so longed to see.
"Search every cabin, every hull," Your brother barked, before turning back to you, "And you stay close to me. Do not go wandering about like a fool like you always do."
You glowered at him, electing not to anger him any further as you stood on the deck. You watched him disappear among the surge of officers onto The Dauntless. You sighed, pacing back and forth when you noticed two men swing over to The Interceptor. It was Will and Jack.
Eyes widening in surprise, you tried to call attention to the situation but your cries fell on deaf ears. You stomped your foot and watched Jack cut off the rope ties, one by one. His gaze was fixed downwards until he looked up momentarily, and there you stood. He stood there for a few more seconds, completely surprised by your presence. Deep down, as much as he hated to admit it, he feared that he would never see you again.
"What are you doing? Cut the rope!" Will cried out in confusion before he followed Jack's eyes to you. Jack looked upwards at the rope still connecting the two boats before turning back to you,
"Jump, Miss Norrington!" He instructed, and you stepped forward, holding onto a long piece of rope. Upon hearing your name, your brother rushed out of the Captain's Quarters, pushing past his men.
"(Y/N)!" He yelled, his eyes daring you to make another move. Realizing that this was the only opportunity to acquire what you had spent so long yearning for; the deep blue seas, the adventure, and the whimsical treasures, you sent him one final glance before running off the deck of The Dauntless and swinging onto The Interceptor. With the final rope now gone, and the ship sailing forward at full speed your brother looked at you as if you were dead to him.
When The Dauntless was far behind and there seemed to be no danger at the present moment, you walked towards your friend Will and the pirate beside him. Will seemed elated that you were there, and he hugged you so warmly that you nearly forgot that he was not related to you by blood. Releasing you from his arms, he sheepishly stepped aside as Jack Sparrow stepped forward.
"Miss Norrington, it is a pleasure to have you on board with us. I almost feared you might not have the guts to swing over," He teased, his hand graciously wrapping around your own as he kissed your fingers with such gentleness that it surprised you. You cracked half a smile at him, narrowing your eyes, before responding,
"You may call me (Y/N), and please, I never turn down an opportunity for adventure."
