I'm Coming For All His Monsters

Summary: Shinso Hitoshi is determined not to make friends, but you and your friends have different plans, though Mineta seems hellbent on being the worst person in the world.

TW: panic attacks, abuse, homophobia, transphobia, discrimination, Mineta being involved in the last three, Mineta is a general trigger warning because I think the fandom collectively hates him, and I think that's it, but if I missed anything please contact me! I don't want anyone to be uncomfortable or regret clicking on one of my posts by accident!

A/N: Please for the love of all things holy, read the trigger warnings! Sorry I've been so inactive lately, I've been busier than I thought I was going to be! I'll start posting more in the following weeks hopefully!

Mineta was despised by everyone on the U.A. campus. It was a simple fact that was known by anyone who met the short perverted grape rat.

He made the girls feel like objects, and like they had to look over their shoulders every time he walked into a room.

The guys hated him for his disgusting personality and- for most of the boys in 1-A- his homophobic comments.

Mineta was the embodiment of what everyone hated in the world.

"Mineta," you warned, feeling his eyes on you as you strolled into the common room, "if you touch me, I will break your arms, do you understand me?"

Nobody was spared, whether they were female or not.

If it had boobs, Mineta was groping them, even if they were already in a relationship with someone.

Sero and Iida, along with Tokoyami and Shoji, took the brunt of the homophobic slurs (since Mineta had said something to Katsuki, who put him into the hands of Recovery Girl when he said something during training and Shouto had left him frozen for four hours in the woods after Mineta made Izuku cry).

Kaminari was spared some comments, because he played along with Mineta sometimes, and had yet to come out to that one student about being trans (everyone in 1-A had assured Denki that he didn't owe the grape rat anything, and he only had to tell the people he felt comfortable telling).

The newest victim of Mineta, was Shinso Hitoshi, the newest addition to class 1-B (and hopeful Mineta replacement).

Not only was Mineta a perv, homophobic, and transphobic, he was also a huge quirkest.

Hitoshi, after making friends with Denki and Izuku, had been spending a lot of time in the dorms.

You had been fast friends with him also, being an honorary member of the Bakusquad on account of being Eijirou's twin sister and Denki's best female friend.

For the first week or two that you had known Hitoshi, you had been worried that you made him uncomfortable.

Every time you walked into a room, he disappeared, and every time you tried to talk to him, he had avoided eye contact and bolted as soon as he could.

Until one night, when you had gone down to the common room after a nightmare, you had found him on the couch, staring a hole in the wall like it had personally offended him.

"Hey Shinso-san," you murmured, trying to announce your presence to him, but also trying not to wake anyone else up.

You saw no reaction, and called his name again, moving into his line of vision.

He tensed, and winced, at your arrival, and it made you frown.

"Why are you up?" you asked softly.

"Haven't you heard?" he replied playfully. "I'm an insomniac."

"Not after the training we had today you shouldn't be," you told him. "Everyone was so exhausted, short of the building collapsing, I don't think anyone's waking up for a while."

"You're up," he pointed out.

"I guess I'm just built different," you mused, and he chuckled, which made you smile.

"You spend too much time with Kaminari," he said.

You shrugged, sipping your water before you said, "I'm sorry. If I've made you uncomfortable, that was never my intention. I just wanted to be your friend."

Shinso tensed, glancing away from you before he pulled his legs up onto the couch, burying his face in them for a few moments before he reappeared.

"I'm sorry for making you think that you made me uncomfortable. You aren't doing that," he informed you. "I'm just . . . not used to a girl that gives me physical affection so easily. You aren't afraid of me, it's just taking some getting used to."

"Huh?" you asked, sitting on the far end of the couch, just to make sure that he had enough space. You had started to notice that he flinched when you got too close. You had an inkling about why, but you didn't want to assume anything and be wrong about it.

"I . . . I don't know how much Kaminari has told you about how I grew up-"

"Nothing," you interrupted. "Denki doesn't talk about stuff like that, especially if you've asked him not to. He might be dumb sometimes, but he's loyal."

Shinso nodded, stewing for a few quiet minutes before he said, "I wasn't raised in the most . . . stable household ever."

So you were right about your hunch then.

"Did they . . . you don't have to answer this if it makes you uncomfortable, but did they hurt you?" you asked softly.

"I don't remember much about my life before my quirk appeared- just flashes here and there- but they weren't the best parents in the world."

"So that's why you flinch whenever I touch you," you murmured. "I'm so sorry. I should've stopped sooner. I figured that might be the case, but I wasn't sure."

"You don't have to apologize," he said, glancing at you. "I don't mind- when you touch me I mean- it just jumps me when it happens unexpectedly. Especially when people come up behind me."

You nodded, scooting a little closer, turning to face him completely.

"Still, I'm sorry. I know Denki and I are tactile people, and sometimes we do it without thinking, since most of our friends and classmates respond well to it. I should have noticed when you didn't."

"I don't mind when you or Kaminari touch me," he said. "I flinch because it's a natural reaction for me. I really don't mind you or Kaminari touching me. It's pretty much everyone else that's the problem."

"And yet you still kick ass in combat training," you praised, trying to lighten the mood.

Shinso had given you a small smile and a breathy laugh, and you had smiled back at him.

"I'm sorry, I never meant to make you feel like you made me uncomfortable, it's just that girls aren't really my forte. Not like Kaminari anyway."

"Kaminari can dish it out, but he can't take it. And besides, this might be just me, but that kind of flirting doesn't work. Too overused. And the way he says it, well-" you made a face and Shinso laughed. "Thank you for telling me, by the way, about your family. It means a lot to me that you trust me enough to tell me."

Shinso nodded, glancing at you.

You couldn't tell in the dark, but you were pretty sure he was blushing.

"So, Shinso-san, what do you say?" you asked, slowly reaching out a hand to him in what you hoped was a non-threatening way. "Wanna be friends?"

He nodded, taking the hand that you held out to him.

That had been the start of your friendship with Hitoshi, but as the months passed, you had realized that you feelings for the insomniac weren't entirely platonic.

But you weren't sure how Shinso felt about dating, and you sure as hell weren't sure how he felt about dating you, so you ignored them as best you could for the time being.

But then Mineta made a dumb move.

It was an unspoken rule that when one of the squads, either the Bakusquad or the Izucrew, was having movie night or a hangout in the common room, Mineta stayed in his room.

But he had come down to the kitchen to get something just in time to see you hug Shinso in welcome.

"Ugh, it's bad enough that he's interacting with us," Mineta groused, drawing attention. "But you guys have to make it worse by letting him into our dorms?"

"Shut up Mineta," you growled. "I would choose Hitoshi to hang out with 100 times out of 10 instead of you. Go be an ass in your room or better yet, throw yourself out the window."

"At least put this on him," Mineta said, tossing something to Shinso.

He frowned as he tried to figure out what the item is.

You saw him tense as he realized that it was a gag.

You saw red, zeroing in on Mineta as Shinso tensed behind you.

"You slimy son of a bitch," you whispered, hands clenching so hard your fingernails bit into your skin.

Mineta tensed, clearly sensing your rage, and he tensed even further as you slowly raised your hand and pointed it at him.

He goes pale as your quirk takes affect.

Sweat beads on his forehead, and then he started to scream.

Everyone had agreed, silently of course so that Katsuki didn't get offended, that your quirk was the most terrifying.

Being able to dig through someone's mind and implant something close to their greatest fear was something the others had been wary of before they had met you.

You usually hated using your quirk on people, but Mineta was an exception.

Ignoring the sounds of Mineta screaming, you turned your attention back to Hitoshi, who is still staring down at the gag, his hands shaking slightly.

"Hitoshi," you murmured, moving so that he can see you.

You take the gag from his hands, careful not to touch him, handing it to Katsuki, who lights it up like a dry piece of paper.

"Hitoshi," you murmured again. "I need you to blink if you can hear me."

He blinked hard, and he turned his gaze onto you, though it was glassy and terrified.

"Hitoshi, blink if you can talk," you suggested, keeping your voice level, ignoring how Mineta goes quiet in the background.

Hitoshi blinks again.

"What do you need from me?" you asked softly.

The others were clearing out, giving you space, though Denki lingered, ready to jump in too.

"Talk to me," he gasped.

"What do you want me to talk about?" you asked. "I can tell you about my day, or I can tell you about the plot of the last book I read."

"Just talk to me," he gasped.

"Alright Hitoshi," you murmured, releasing your hold on Mineta.

Denki picked the grape rat up by the color of his shirt, leaving the room once he was certain that you had the situation under control.

"Can I touch you?"

Hitoshi thought for a moment before nodding, and you slowly reached out to take his hands, linking your fingers together.

"Okay, you know how I get when I read, so you can imagine how pissed I was when my favorite character was killed off. I mean, I cried, obviously, but I was so pissed! I wanted him to live! So far he's the only good male character! He actually reminds me of you. He's got that 'too cool for you' attitude, but he really is such a sweetheart. I love him, he's such a good character too. Seriously, if he managed to fall into our world and asked me out, I would totally say yes."

Hitoshi laughed tensely, and you ran your thumbs over his knuckles in soothing circles, settling him down on the couch, turning to face him, your hands still holding his.

You attempt to pull them away once, but he tightens his grip and you adjust your grip on his hands.

"Anyway," you continued, spewing about your latest reading spree, holding Hitoshi's hands in yours, sometimes pausing to make sure that he was still okay.

Eventually his shoulders relax and he tips forward into your lap.

"I'm sorry," he murmured, turning his face away from you.

"It's okay Hitoshi," you told him, laying a hand on his shoulder, taking your hand back. "The only person who should be apologizing is Mineta. I can't believe he did that. I knew he was a bastard, but this is a whole new level."

"I never wanted you to see that side of me," he whispered.

"Hitoshi," you said, you tone making him turn to look up at you. "I don't think any less of you because of this. I don't understand everything that you went through, and I don't know your exact experience, but I do understand the feeling. If something ever triggers you like that again I need you to tell me or one of our friends, maybe find a way to remove yourself, alright?"

He nodded, looking a little relieved.

"Hitoshi, do you need to talk about it? You don't have to," you assured him, "but . . . I just want to make sure that you're okay. I have a hunch, but I'm really hoping I'm wrong."

"You probably aren't," he murmured. "My father used to gag me whenever I tried to use my quirk to stop him from hitting me."

"Oh Hitoshi," you whispered, reaching out to touch his face before you remembered and pulled back.

He sat up again, took your hands, and placed them on his face, leaning into them, a small smile spreading across his lips as your thumb caressed across his cheeks.

"You don't have to pity me," he whispered.

"Hitoshi, this isn't pity," you told him, feeling your throat close at the torrent of horrors that flashed through your mind when you thought about what he had gone through. "Yes, I'm sorry that you went through that, and I'm sorry that you didn't have the family that you deserved until later in life, but I know that it helped shape who you are. And I love who you are, okay? If I could go back in time, I would become friends with you sooner so that I could give you all the hugs and safety you needed and deserved, but unfortunately, that's not my quirk. For now, I can try to make up for all the affection that you missed out on as a younger child, and be one of the people that you can count on, even when it's three A.M. and we should both be sleeping."

You leaned your forehead against his, content to just exist in the same space as he was, breathing the same air, hoping that he understood what you were trying to say.

He shuddered under your hands as your words sunk in, but you could tell that this wasn't a bad shudder, and you pressed your hands into his cheeks a little harder so that he knew you weren't going anywhere, but not enough to hurt.

"Are you okay?" you asked softly, opening your eyes to see him already looking at you with those beautiful eyes of his that were too old for the age of his body.

"I think so," he murmured. "Thank you, for sticking up for me."

"Always," you told him fiercely. "No one does something like that to my family. Ever. Especially not him. Do you want me to do anything else? I will break his arms."

Hitoshi shook his head, holding your hands against his face, leaning into their warmth, making your heart melt.

"Will you stay with me?" he asked softly, like he was scared of making you uncomfortable.

"Always, for as long as you need me to," you promised vehemently, kissing the tip of his nose.

As Hitoshi slept on your chest that night, your hands threaded through his hair as you ran your hands through it, you made a promise to yourself.

I'm coming for all the monsters that ever touched him. I'm coming for all the ones who twisted his stars and light into shadows. They tried to turn him into a nightmare, so I am going to be theirs.

Domestic life 2 for Iidamei

What's the wedding like? Who attends?

Okay, so I feel like Iida is pretty old fashioned in certain aspects of life, so they wear traditional Japanese wedding attire. Hatsume isn't too picky about her wedding dress (that being said, she hates scratchy things like lace), so this works out fine!

Obviously Iida and Hatsume's families attend, but so does everyone from class 1-A and class 1-H, including Power Loader, Ectoplasm, Snipe, and a bunch of other guests make an appearance. The entire Izucrew definitely has a few tears in their eyes, but Midoriya cries the most because "They just deserve to be happy, Shouto".

Hatsume definitely puts together some elaborate babies for this occasion, like some automatic waitstaff or something like that. Iida was a little hesitant, at first, but Hatsume looked so excited that he soon agreed.

The wedding is surprisingly calm and happy though, and Iida and Hatsume hardly spend a minute apart after the ceremony. They're both just so happy to finally be married and begin the rest of their lives together.

BNHA STREAMER AU

This alternate universe is set in a universe where the cast does not have their quirks.

|• Izuku Midoriya

Midoriya was constantly bullied as a child, so he would let himself escape by watching streamers. He was fascinated by the career in general, and while he was getting through school he started to study the trends.

He convinced his mother, presentation and all, to help jumpstart his hobby. After a while, he decided to choose the channel name Versatile (based on my alternate hero name for him).

Nervous about his Identity, he decided to remain faceless and started to play games completely out about the speedrunnimg strats and the statistics behind drops.

He decided to start speedrunnimg himself, and he found his first friend in the gaming community.

|• Iida Tenya

Iida is the younger brother of game designer Iida Tensei. Surrounded by games, Iida quickly began coding and trying to break the games his family would develop. Eventually he got his own job at the company test playing games.

He eventually decided it would be a great marketing tactic to start streaming so he began under the channel Ingenium. His start was easy given his family's reputation, so his career quickly took off the ground.

He met Midoriya by watching other streamers speedrun his family's games. At first he was very critical, but soon was endeared when Midoriya found new ways to break the game no one at the company was able to.

One day, after streaming, Iida noticed Midoriya was live and raided his channel. Midoriya was very flustered as this was the first truly huge raid he had ever received but was thankful. The two eventually became friends on discord after their fans wished for them to collab, and as they say the rest was history.

|• Hatsume Mei

Hatsume is a developing game designer. She learned coding when she was young and has an internship under the head game developer at Loading Power Ent. She streams under the name CodePink as a play on CodeRed where she showcases her mods and rough ideas.

She met Iida online when he wanted a mod, and basically used him as free promo with the promo built into the game. Iida was annoyed with this at first, but behind the scenes the two talked more and more until they grew a romantic interest in each other until they started to date.

The stream where Mei jumped on Iida while was streaming is still saved in many personal libraries.

Mei actually did not meet Midoriya through Iida, but charmed instead by the smaller streamer's murmurings. She asked him privately to play test a couple of her new mods with her, and he was nervous but thrilled to find another friend.

Iida did attend that livestream, and Midoriya found it about Iida and Mei's relationship through Iida bragging about his girlfriend.

|• Uraraka Ochaco

Uraraka knew that her family couldn't afford to much when she expressed interest in wanting to become a streamer so she started small with a YouTube channel instead. The channel Uravity was a blend between diys and gaming.

Her and Midoriya met outside of their personas one day at a cafe. The cafe was so busy that Uraraka was knocked into the chair across from Midoriya. He was surprised, but Uraraka noticed he was working on some new screens for his streaming. The two launched into a lengthy conversation about graphic design.

Uraraka revealed her channel, and Midoriya was nervous to reveal his channel but Uraraka didn't know he was but was impressed with the amount of followers he had.

The two exchanged numbers, and one day Midoriya found himself playing Smash Bros with YouTuber Uravity. Uraraka was beating his ass.

Midoriya let Uraraka have all the money gained from that stream so she could kickstart her own streaming career.

|• Asui Tsuyu

Unlike the rest, Asui is not a streamer.

She was simply a viewer of Uravity who gained the mod title so she mainly goes around through Uravity and her friends chats moderating and keeping the peace.

Simply known as Froppy, Asui gained a reputation among the forming Izucrew and was soon her name was in all of their mouths with thank yous.

Asui, feeling a bit confident, decided to get a bit more friendly in DMs and while it took a while the Izucrew happily welcomed her into their group. Uraraka eventually asked her out, and the two have been dating ever since.

|• Aoyama Yuga

A French YouTuber under the name Prince Charming who is known for criticizing fashion and reviewing style in media. He started to streaming when he found his newfound interest, and hasn't let go of it ever since. He even started to make clothes for his friends.

One day, him and his parents moved to Japan where he announced his moving with a vlog. Luckily Japanese was his third language with his father being Japanese.

He gave an apartment tour once their moving was complete, and was excited to show he has his own room to decorate for his art and designs.

Midoriya, fascinated by Aoyama's channel, bashfully sent art to his PO box (remember Midoriya is an art god) and Aoyama was so touched that he hung it up in the studio.

Midoriya squealed about it on stream, and word quickly got around to Aoyama. The two were soon in each others dms messaging back and forth until Aoyama suggested Midoriya come over for a video.

Midoriya explained that he was faceless, which gave Aoyama an idea for a video. Aoyama refused to tell Midoriya what the idea was, just that it was a secret. Soon a video was released showing Aoyama creating a face mask for Midoriya to wear using the green bunny aesthetic. Midoriya opened it on stream, and put it on. He commented it was very breathable and that he would be using it for any future vlog or content that required his body.

Aoyama and Midoriya eventually did the video together where Aoyama made Midoriya more fashionable while in turn Midoriya invited Aoyama to an Izucrew Mario Kart stream.

First impression: “tape? for real? how did the human genetic code somehow evolve office supplies?” Impression now: a good boy who drinks his respect women juice and protects his female classmates from perverts! Favorite moment: he came preeeetty close to beating todoroki! that was impressive! Idea for a story: uuuuuuh sero develops the ability to do tape in different colors and with patterns and designs specifically to cheer up eri? Unpopular opinion: he is not dumb or irresponsible, he recognized his weakness in classical japanese and asked for help, he’s a good student! Favorite relationship: ironically, bakugou? sero can play bakubitch like a cheap kazoo and i love that for him. Favorite headcanon: full ham ridiculousness, all his family have office supply quirks.

First impression: i am so gonna steal her design for a game character. Impression now: MY GUUUUUUURL! Favorite moment: defeat the bullies by BREAKDANCING! Idea for a story: she finds out bakugou was izuku’s bully in middle school and kicks his can all the way out the front gate! Unpopular opinion: do i have one of those? for mina? i don’t think so. Favorite relationship: kirishima! gotta love them childhood friends! Favorite headcanon: tentabulge the horns are sensitive

First impression: hehe tol boi Impression now: hehe tol boi Favorite moment: he STAYED with his FRIEND in the DARK when he was being ATTACKED and i am SOFT! Idea for a story: shouji, tokoyami and tsu form a hero team and a picture of shouji with tokoyami perched on one shoulder and tsu perched on the other blows up on the internet, leading (somehow) to them becoming a poly ship. Unpopular opinion: he would never team up with mineta, horikoshi is a LIAR! Favorite relationship: tokoyami, and to a lesser degree tsu Favorite headcanon: he does not have one big brain, he has six little ones.

and finally tsu!

First impression: this girl says everything i am thinking, if you assume “ribbit” means “fuck.” Impression now: FROPPY BEST GIRL! Favorite moment: i have to pick one? probably the toga fight. Idea for a story: i just want more content of her and her siblings! give me all the cute siblings stories! Unpopular opinion: the shot of her after pulling the cuffs out of her stomach, when she has white streaks of “saliva” all across her face . . . seems a little gratuitous for all the wrong reasons to me. Favorite relationship: the izucrew! and yes, all of them! Favorite headcanon: she’s trans, and she transitioned all on her own by frog powers. that’s why she wants everyone to use her name, she picked it out herself.

hi im sorry for the long post i've been thinking about kiribaku platonic bromance

my fave headcanon ever is that (dismissing katsu's canon cute ugly ass hyena giggles) is that his genuine laugh is.. so fucking loud and contagious

like. like people who actually go 'AAHAHHHAHAHAH' and it sounds so warm??? DOES THAT MAKE SENSE???

his friends hear him laugh once to some stupid joke and they all end up giggling

so like

he and kiri, best buds, as you do, have their own stupid inside jokes and literally no one gets them even with context

like one day kiri in class goes 'toilet seat so hot with soup' and katsuki crumbles to the ground choking and laughing so hard he starts screaming bc his ribs hurt

kiri's ofc, wheezing along

like they'll be joking around and laughing during lunch, literally out of breath and katsuki's obviously trying to add something but his face is way too red and he keeps giggling like his life depends on it

he manages to get one single word out and kiri nearly dents the table from slapping it too hard and his stomach is cramping from laughing so much

JUST GOOD VIBES YANNO?

and one night when katsuki woke up from a particularly bad nightmare kiri brought him downstairs and played swing dance tutorials on his phone till 4am and they only stopped once they could actually dance correctly

on the days that kirishima feels bad about his hair/his roots, katsuki will steal a flashy leopard print headband from mina or use his hero mask to push his hair back so kiri doesn't feel.. as alone? homeboy's trying, and kiri appreciates it

and he knows that kiri misses his family lots and gets p home sick bc ua doesn't leave much time to visit anyone, so katsuki lets kiri be extra touchy with him and tries his best to initiate it too- walking arnd town and katsuki gets needy so he pulls at kiri's hair until he lets him sit on his shoulders, or when they're just standing in gym class waiting for instructions katsuki will lean an arm against him

he goes with kiri to the store for hair dye and helps him dye it, in the afternoon they'll be sitting in the common room and kiri fell asleep his head on katsuki's lap, who was playing with his hair and making it his personal mission to turn it into the ugliest, most tangled bird's nest ever bc he's still a brat

days where trauma isn't so kind to him, katsuki gets dragged in the middle of the common room or a hallway and kiri forces him to salsa dance together, even if shark boy's kind of carrying (most of) his dead weight, practically half asleep dozing off on his shoulder and kiri wakes him up again by spinning him

the times where katsuki is actually awake and has a brink of energy, he and kiri will fight over who gets to lead the dance

there was no discussion or hint beforehand

so it's just a mess of pulling at each other's arms, knocking their shins into tables and chairs, tripping over each other's feet and crashing to the floor and getting bruised all over because they're dumb

they start singing some festive spanish song sero taught them with the grace and voice of a pair of war grizzled drunkies, cackling and laughing and their voices crack at every verse

second year kiri pulls a stupid stunt and ends up in the hospital bc he like, nearly actually died

katsuki isn't even that worried, he's the one who dared the guy to jump off tokyo tower and try to land in the pool of the hotel beside it (they underestimated the distance, kiri landed in the fucking street)

he's on his phone in the waiting room with mina and kami nervously fidgeting

kami looks at him and goes "do you not feel bad? it's kind of your fault that he jumped in the first place"

katsuki doesn't even look at him, "my main bro's fucking dead, i'm more concerned with finding a replacement right now"

while they wait for kiri to get out of surgery, katsuki writes up an application form for broship and puts it on twitter; sero replies and they "hook up"

when kiri wakes up, mina and kami are fretting over him and sero finally arrived, but he shrugs them off and immediately goes for katsuki's throat

"so what am i, your side bro now?!"

"sorry you had to find out this way" katsuki is leaning back against sero

kiri is heart-broken, "i thought we had a bond, you and i!"

"...i was gonna show up to your funeral?"

"were you not planning ON GOING BEFORE?"

when they get back to the dorms kiri gives him the cold shoulder for a week before he comes back crawling to katsuki

(by then, he and sero "broke up")

but don't be fooled,

this tokyo tower dumbassery somehow brought them even closer

(also when they learn that katsuki can, in fact, make explosions from his fucking feet, kiri has a nice scar on his calf that oddly looks like half of a foot and 3 toes seared into his flesh)

turns out, katsuki can aslo be a soft affectionate touchy-feely bullshitting asshole when he wants to be, but these days it's mostly out of spite

when the squad starts calling him dad (with the exception of kiri), katsuki goes over and pats everyone's heads when he wants to, and also because he enjoys seeing them freak out by the blatant display of affection

he does little things like letting mina and kami cozy up to him during movie nights or when they go out in town during winter, and lets sero peer over his shoulder to look at what he's cooking and rub his head between katsuki's shoulderblades like a damn cat before walking away like nothing happened

katsuki's used to it, the rest of the class is mystified

one day, common room again, bksquad is playing mario kart vs the izucrew, katsuki's sitting on the couch with kiri on the floor between his legs, letting his hair be played with and braided

then he stands up and announces he's going to bed, out of habit (when did this become a habit, the class thinks) katsuki reaches up and drags kiri's face down so he can.. kiss the top of his head? kiri just smiles and calls out a goodnight and leaves as if, nothing happened

mina asks "what was THAT"

katsuki just settles back down, opens his phone and stares her straight in the eyes "homies kiss each other goodnight if they're not a coward"

Regressor!Iida Headcanons

Older kiddo headspace, about 7ish but doesn't necessarily have a specific/set age he would say he regresses to, just knows it's small time.

As if being the class rep and an upcoming hero isn't enough pressure, he also has that hero family name to live up to. He didn't really have any way to cope with his stress until after the Stain incident, and then after that he sort of went through a variety of coping mechanisms until he realized he sort of clicked with regressing.

The Izucrew are aware that he regresses and typically take turns looking out for him while he's small, although he is still very independent while small.

Tenya absolutely loves to color and draw. Is he any good? No. Does Izuku still hang up every single drawing he gives him somewhere in his room? Of course.

Gets very excited about anything he is learning whether he's feeling big or small. Though his enthusiasm gets translated to a very bouncy boy as he infodumps about whatever topic has captured his interest that week. Usually this is also a tell that he might be about to regress, so they know to be mindful when he starts telling them a lot of fun facts.

Does not like wearing his glasses when he's small. They are annoying and get in the way when he's playing. Who cares if everything looks as soft and fuzzy as he feels? Tenya can tell what most things are from color and shape even if it's blurry, but still lets one of them hold his hand so he doesn't bump into anything if they go out somewhere. It might be an excuse to get them to do just that (even though he could just ask).

One of those kids that does better with a routine. Tenya doesn't like not knowing what he is supposed to do when, so he likes having little reminders to tell him what he's supposed to be doing. Feels extra soft and cared for when one of the others remind him "it's snack time" or "it's play time".

the way i was raised: bakugou gets therapy (at the hands of todoroki and aizawa, post-that One Comment during the provisional license class arc)

from the ashes: pre-290 dabi-centric theoretical backstory exploration

goodnight, love: in which krbk are kidnapped, and only kirishima gets back to ua-- where no one remembers bakugou.

twin users: canondivergent from heroes rising, bakugou keeps ofa but deku doesnt lose it

the risk i took was calculated, but man, am i bad at math: exploration of what would have happened if deku had gotten hit with the quirk erasing bullets (after all, it’s several generations ahead of other quirks-- it wouldn’t quite erase it, right?

touya todoroki’s guide (has a longer name but i am not sharing it): dabi takes a college class (pre-stain). with natsuo, unintentionally, and gets paired with him for a partner project. trying his best. kind of crack treated seriously but not quite?

the todoroki family’s guide (same as above): sequel to the above! in which the todorokis have a family tv show

side by side, against all odds: quirkless deku and bakugou hero duo! (platonic bkdk)

royalty au: royal todoroki siblings, following enji’s death. including the lov causing small amounts of chaos, a possible scheme within the izucrew, and maybe a cameo from bakugou and his dragon.

you want a garden (but you got a balcony): hero student!tenko and kind of canon!dabi. their meeting, friendship, and eventually something more, including tenko forcing dabi to take care of himself

fall in love twice (with me): fantasy au shigadabi. criminal duo. stopped by a group of spellcasters, caught separately and forced to forget the other. they meet again in their search to recover their memories, and go forward from there.

game over. continue?: in which tenko lived and died pre-quirk era, jokingly put in his will that he wanted “game over, continue” written on his grave with a coin slot, and dabi is the first to go along with it out of sheer boredom, accidentally dragging tenko back to life in the process.

rewinded lov trio: in which an attempt to get information from eraserhead’s apartment ends in dabi, toga, and shigaraki getting rewinded to their childhood selves with no way to press the fast-forward button.

mermaid shigadabi: part-mermaid dabi, mermaid-prince shigaraki. dabi runs away after enji finds out, running into shigaraki and ending up as a royal guest.

lessons unlearned: in which pro hero deku forgets what it’s like to be a quirkless kid wanting desperately to be a hero, just needing that final push of reassurance, at the cost of breaking a quirkless kid’s heart-- not unlike what he experienced at their age.

ofa!touya: in which all might was injured a decade earlier, met touya in the hospital, gained custody, and believed ofa may help touya handle his quirk. (there are consequences.)

recipe for a hero: in which shigaraki, twice, and dabi are forced into a villain-to-hero rehabilitation program hosted by the hpsc.

anyway meanwhile iida has this fuckign garbled mess on his arm because midoriya a) stutters when he first talks to iida and b) iida TALKS OVER HIM WHEN MIDORIYA FIRST SPEAKS TO HIM

so like the entrance exam goes w/o them talking abt it bc midoriya doesnt have time to be like "shut UP omfg ur my soulmate" esp cause he feels kinda bad bc iida's like "dont distract the other examinees!!" and he doesnt wanna prove him right abt him being a Delinquent because our boy is stubborn so yeah

honestly between registering his quirk and getting his hero costume together nd all that midoriya probably straight up......forgets he meets his soulmate sjkfnkjnkdjnksjkf

anyway first day of school rolls around tho and iida makes a beeline for midoriya the sec he enters the class and mido is like "oh fuck he figured out im his soulmate i hope this isnt awkward" bc what a first impression That would be on the whole class but iida just apologizes for being a presumptuous dick and then uraraka shows up and midoriya at this point thinks it would be v v v awkward to bring it up so he just DOESNT LMFAOOOO

to be fair tho midoriya isnt that confident yet and hes arnd all these new amazing people and pro heroes suddenly All The Time so hes kinda overwhelmed and just needs a got damn second

eventually tho people meet up with their soulamtes like kiri and baku and baku's like "YOURE THE REASON THAT FUCKING 'bakugo? can i call you bakubro then?' IS ON MY ARM FOR E V E R ???????" and kiri is like "ur the reason why That whole tangent is on my arm??" and bakugo freezes before going like "okay guess we both fucked up " also yaoyorozu and jirou who just have simple "hi im momo" "OH MY GOD UR MY SOULMATE" and its v sweet im crying

anyway so eventually as people pair up and all that. the topic comes up during lunch w the izucrew bc its fun and its a new place and time in their lives so a lot of people r meeting their soulmates rn

iida brings it up like "i have no idea what my soulmate is gonna say to me bc yall look at this" and he shows them his arm and midoriya squawks and kinda slides down his chair bc he cant believe his mumbling and being-talked-over got fucking recorded on iida's arm forever how embarrassing he cant decide who got it worse

anyway eventually they ask midoriya what his words are and mido is like "HHHHH" but he doesnt lie bc this isnt Angst come on

anyway its so fucking funny when he shows them all his arm and everyone fucking LAUGHS BECAUSE THEY REMEMBER IIDA SHOUTING AT HIM DURING THE PRESENTATION AND IIDA IS JUST LIKE "WAIT WHAT WHAT OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY" ITS SO FUCKING FJNKFJNKDJNKFJNKSDJNKFJNK

anyway then iida shows off his words again and uraraka gets a lil cheeky and says "yknow im not surpried now that i know deku is iida's soulmate bc only deku could say That out loud" and mido dies insides but not really

anyway iida catches him after class and they kinda plan a time to meet up and talk and potentially meet the family and see what kinda soulmates theyll be (platonic or romantic) and its just v cute and both are happy and ahhh my heart

god they are absolutely romcom goals i love them so much

I kinda like the idea of Iida, Uraraka, Shinsou, Izuku, Tsu and Todoroki though. They meet online and slowly become best friends, later on becoming a vigilante team. Just shenanigans, saving Eri, killing AFO, kidnapping Shigaraki and Kurogiri to be part of their team, the basics.
