The Last Olympian spoilers‼️
Silena Beauregard took Clarisse's armor and died because of a fight she was not meant to be participating in. You know who this reminds me of? Patroclus. The difference is that Patroclus wasn't able to die peacefully in Achilles's arms :((

more nimona comic reread things I am indescribably mad (for fantasy world building reasons more so than anything to do w rep) abt having been left out of the movie (part 1 - part 2):
BLITZMEYER MY BELOVED
director being a goblin, no hair, pointy ears, god I love that reveal, love her being a whole ass creachure
the fucking changeling replacing a baby lore aaaahhhh I forgot abt the actual backstory, it is so good, it is so myth based, I am a mythology nerd first and a minority person second you need to understand this about me as a person, she was a part of their community who happened to be something fundamentally different (and didn’t rly even know that herself) not an outsider other who happened to befriend one (1) of them, this is STILL the better trans metaphor
I am also still mad abt them changing literally everything abt ambrosius’s personality & backstory, where is my feisty long haired orphan boy and his dope face scars at the end smh

@askganondorftobadragmire liked for a starter!
Link studied the other man, looking up at him in silence, head tilting to one side. Hands that had been on his hips moved to come up, signing slowly.
« You're tall. »
Probably not the comment the other man would expect, but it was the first thing that came to mind. He didn't feel threatened by the man, but the insane height difference was a lot to take in - he wondered briefly who was taller, this man or Sidon?
« You're very tall. »

So what does make eris a good person why are people pro eris
Hi!
There’s a lot of reasons people like Eris. Whether it be as a character on his own or in comparison to other characters, he just seems more appealing in a lot of ways. The biggest one for me is probably that he’s not annoying lol.
Eris, as portrayed in the story vs. other characters
Eris is, albeit fairly, regarded by the horrible things he’s done in the past. He’s a morally grey character who has goals, desires, and values that direct his questionable actions. The story, unlike with many other characters, actually acknowledges this. There’s no pretending that he’s a better man than he is.
The main point I’m making with this is that Eris, in comparison to the other morally grey characters in the series (which tbf is most of them), is just way less annoying because he’s not glorified as a better man nor does he act like one.
Essentially, Eris isn’t a self-righteous bastard, making him one of the least annoying character by far.
Eris’ characterization and complexity
Eris is an interesting character. He’s guided by goals and values that are really admirable despite the questionable actions he takes to advance towards them. His desire to protect and better his Court and take down a terrible ruler is something to respect. There’s layers to him that make him seem realer and appealing, like his love for his mother and the subtle ways he’s shown to protect her. There’s also the parts that make him seem more intriguing, like his connections to other well-liked characters such as Lucien.
Eris isn’t that bad (?)
I don’t subscribe to this argument, mainly because my knowledge of it is very small. It’s mainly that Eris arguably isn’t that bad in morals terms because the worst thing he ever did was his involvement in the situation with Mor.
My memory on what’s given in canon is really small because 1) it’s already super vague to begin with and 2) I just never found it interesting because it was brought up maybe once then never mentioned again.
In canon, it’s stated that Eris did what he had to do when he found Mor and that there were forces at play that she never considered (I think). If and when this is ever cleared up, it would shed some light on the situation and reveal whether Mor was being entirely truthful when she spoke of how Eris hurt her. If she’s really lying about something or not mentioning something that would make him seem way less worse than he is, that would mean Eris in general is way less worse than he is.
(I think)
Overall, Eris is just an interesting character with all these annoying traits that come with the other openly (kind of) morally grey characters in the series.
For me personally, I like how he’s got these core things that he values above all else; protecting and bettering his Court, keeping his mom safe, etc. and how there’s glimpses of “humanity” (what’s it called for Fae?) inside him. Like how he regrets the state of his relationship with Lucien, his guilt (kind of) over what happened to Mor, his love for his soldiers, etc. etc.

same puppet; new strings
I have posted the GRIMMEST of my fills for @codywankinkbingo. "same puppet; new strings" fills: possession (by another entity) and knife play.
Warnings for non-con kink and attempted non-con, hurt without comfort, and no happy ending. PLEASE check out all the warnings for this one.
Set after the war and with an established relationship... (at first).
I'm putting my card under the cut. I STILL do not have a bingo.
And I promise all my other fills are happier than this one.

yea i agree with the tags on your post maybe im just used to artists providing explanations when cancelling shows/not being able to perform/rescheduling but like that tweet????? not even the bare minimum and the hate we, asians, get from the people who attends 369 shows??????? oh man im sick and tired of hearing them "but! louis must have a very good reason to cancel and not explain" "it must be an extremely personal reason!!" "u guys r so entitled u dont even contribute much in his sales" idk but man come on louis is always yapping about how fans r always behind him and like he doesn't care about watever the fuck sales or whatnot then boom
Hi darling,
He and his team owe us that much. I'm not even thinking of an elaborate explanation. A 'for the time being, due to the logistical reasons...' would suffice for me.
Because we are left hanging for now. Is it due to ticket sales? Is it due to something else? Should I book a ticket to Europe if I ever want to see him? And not waste my money on non-refundable flights and hotels instead? What about next time he comes to Asia? Will he cancel again?
Because, his ticket might be cheap in Europe/US, but his tickets in Asia are the same price as Billie Eilish (a multiple Grammys winner) who plays in 80k stadium capacity.
Honestly, only the time could tell the real reason and whether that comes from him or his team in god knows how long for now - who knows.
And I agree, the image he and his team builds around 'me and my fans' makes it even more disappointing that this is the best he can come up with (a 3-5 am tweet in Asia time).
