Honestly I really love Phil’s idea of having the egg arc “end” with the eggs hatching and being able to fly around in creative to show up whenever and do whatever they want, it gives the arc an happy ending and makes it so that the players that have gotten attached to their kids don’t lose them completely

She’s got an interesting personality. At home she’s wild and experimental and always looking for new trouble to get into. Outside the house she’s reserved and thoughtful — not timid or scared, but takes a while to confidently warm up to exploring. I’m looking forward to taking her walking with Marceline, I think she will gain a lot of confidence that way.

I’m trying to find a good way of saying ‘I’m glad they made Sam cry’ that doesn’t make me sound like, y’know, a MONSTER

but whenever you have a character of colour who is wise beyond their years, you run the risk of de-humanising them and not allowing them to be vulnerable in ways their white counterparts are, and I feel like as much as I love him, Sam occasionally skirts that line? in that he showed anger with both the Dubai Air protest and the whole Jamie thing, but it always passed very quickly; you always get the sense that he’s being very mature...and alright, that’s part of his character but still it runs the risk of hinting that Sam’s not really allowed by the narrative to be properly fucked off or hurt.

and here... well, he totally deserved to lose his shit and run into his dad’s arms to cry his eyes out, because the poor boy is twenty-two years old and trying his best, and he 100% deserves to be pissed off and devastated! and people more qualified than me can talk about whether they feel the entire storyline was done well or poorly*, but I’m glad Sam was allowed to be both angry and upset, and he wasn’t expected to be the bigger man or take it on the chin, he was vulnerable and he expressed his feelings and needed support from his dad and that was precisely what he needed then

(*I personally hope we have more follow-up than we got from Dubai Air because both racism directed at footballers and the refugee crisis are a real-world situations that need more focus. I also hope this episode gets brought up at every single interview Suella Braverman and Priti Patel do from now until the end of time.)

Ok hear me out: Gregory did NOT betray Cassie (A theory)

warning: spoilers for the game undercut

So when I was watching Dawko's video I've noticed that at the elevator scene, there were TWO Gregorys talking (obviously the real one and the mimic)

I think I should start off with an "I don't think Cassie is dead" but that's just my opinion, although the theory might still work even if she died I guess.

As for the theory, it may sound a bit weird, but all the evidence I have is the captions

See the two speech line/text (the top is real because he was talking first AND was a continuation of the lines of the Gregory that was helping Cassie)

The second/bottom one, however...

That "Gregory" was the one that betrayed Cassie cuz if you see in the clip here, the one that DOES say 'We can't be followed' is a continuation of the second speech line/text aka what I assume is the mimic

Besides, we know that the mimic could very much control tech and machinery around the pizza plex at least to a degree, so what's really stopping him from dropping Cassie. He doesn't need her anymore.

And in case she survives, she will just put the blame on Gregory. It *is* his voice that she heard after all, which would be beneficial for the mimic to have the only two that know he's free be on opposite sides.

Again, this may be just a caption error and Gregory actually betrayed Cassie. I don't think it is, but that might just be me idk.

So we're clearing the music room in the Extremely Very Definitely Cursed Evil Mansion Full Of Ghosts, our annoying blueblood monk lad goes to fuck around with the harpsicord. DM mentions that one of the keys is stuck in the down position.

Now. If you've played through this module you know that there's like a massive wholeass subplot entirely being told through people's initials, so the immediate question is naturally WHICH key is stuck, since it's entirely reasonable to think it might be a clue.

The description doesn't say.

Monk, OOC: Okay, I'm gonna say it's...a low D, just because it'll bother me otherwise. DM: Yeah, that works. It's not an initial thing but good thinking, it's just a stuck key, although--I don't want to get into the inner workings of a harpsicord right now, but-- Monk, OOC: The D key is stuck. Cleric: Antoine, nobody cares that your D is stuck in the harpsicord, we're trying to focus!!!
