Passing Over
Happy Halloween everyone!
As promised, I have posted my final piece for @codywankinkbingo! "Passing Over" is up on ao3.
In addition to giving me a blackout for my bingo card, this represents my Halloween contribution for the year, as it features ghosts and the occult in a modern AU.
More information and my card under the cut!
So, this fic fills my squares for sex work and monsterfucking (ghosts). As such, one character is a ghost (but he starts the fic that way, so I did not tag it as MCD. Still, keep in mind that he's dead and stays dead).
No major warnings apply beyond that. I hope you enjoy the Halloween vibes, dirty talk, and sex toys. Thanks so much everyone that followed along with the fills, my card sometimes felt like more tricks than treats, but we got there!

Weekly Event Stats - Third Week of October
Well, we officially have 13 days until the end of the Kink Bingo event (and 14 until we get up the completion posts for everyone who got a blackout, a bingo, or a fill in the event). We’re here to read you in on our weekly stats since it’s a Tuesday!
We have some more math for you this week, with the news that we’ve officially used more than HALF of the fills in the list. Participants have filled 55.1% of all the fills on the list, with:

He could be… competent, and quiet, feeling something like an aching grasping black hole of grief for the could-have-beens he was supposed to be over, and only Rex would know to look at him in concern.
Only Rex, and Ben.
Force, Cody hadn’t expected Ben.

This is my very first fill for the event! I got six fills in here (though no bingo): coming quickly, snowballing, silence, gentle sex, messy sex, and the free space (blindfolds)!

So, you folks know I got my @codywankinkbingo card? Well, there were some squares on there that fit very well with an idea that's been languishing in my WIP folder for a long time.
BUT, before I could fill them, I needed to actually, you know, write that WIP to provide the setting. So, I have done that... with "Be Your Love," up on ao3.
"Be Your Love" is a modern Codywan au featuring: a significant age difference, several major misunderstandings, and the smuttiest meet cute I've ever written (and am ever likely to write).
IT IS VERY VERY SPICY. But also...pretty cute.

Welcome to Codywan Kink Bingo 2022
Codywan Kink Bingo 2022 Rules
Hello and welcome to the first Codywan Kink Bingo event! It’s us, your kiss bingo mods, bringing you a spicier (and 18+) event for the cool fall months and in honor of the spirit of Kinktober! Keep reading if you're interested and want to learn more about the (very few) rules.
How to Play
So, how does one participate in Codywan Kink Bingo 2022? Well, first of all, you make sure you’re over 18. Then, you fill out this form, then wait for us to email you your bingo card. The card will look like this, but will be procedurally generated so that you have different prompts in a different order from everyone else:
Then you get down to writing, drawing, or otherwise creating something for the prompts you select! That’s it!
Fill Requirements
Well, that’s not quite it. We do have some requirements on what you can submit to fill a square on your bingo card. Each fill must include one of the following options:
Fic: A minimum of 100 words per fill
Art: One piece of art (digital, traditional, whatever floats your boat)
Playlist: One song that explicitly meets the requirements of the prompt (bonus if you make the mods laugh)
Other: Have a different idea? Reach out to the mods via an ask! Let’s chat. We want this to be available to all creators!
Now, and this is very important, we come to the PRIMARY RULE for the Codywan Kink Bingo 2022 Challenge. And that rule is: you MUST include one of the kinks on your bingo card. You can subvert it, play around with it, make it dance to your whims…but the kink has to be there. (And it has to involve Codywan)!
Note that to complete a bingo, you must complete a row of five prompts--meaning, you must have a piece that includes one of the prompts in the squares on your bingo card, and you must in this way fill five squares in a row. You can do a horizontal row! A vertical row! A diagonal! Any method you’d use to fill a traditional bingo card works!
Prompt Adjustments
We know not all the prompts may work for everyone. If you have a prompt that’s inconveniently located to complete your bingo dream, you may swap or move it with another. We allow one (1) adjustment per bingo card.
Posting Dates
Once you get your card, you can work on it at your own pace through the month of October, 2022. During this month, post your fills to the AO3 collection and reblog them to the tumblr, and we’ll review to make certain you have included a Codywan kink from your bingo card and accept your submission, sharing the love for your creations!
Note that, as both mods work full time, we will not be accepting items to the collection after October 31st!
Ratings for the Event
We assume MOST of our fills are going to be explicit for this one, folks. However, if you want to write something with an M rating instead, that’s certainly fine. We imagine a few fics could have a T rating. No G-rated fics for this event.
Due to the nature of the event (incredibly spicy) please note that this IS an 18 and over event.
Please tag each fill appropriately for other readers. Please use archive warning tags, as well, if necessary.
Posting Rules
So, let’s say that you’ve written your first fill. You’ve gone over it, it applies to the prompt you are filling, it’s Codywan…. You’re ready to post!
You can wait and post during October (meaning you piece will go right into the collection and we’ll reblog your post on tumblr!) or you can post right away! Either way, please shout at us (@codywankinkbingo) in the body of the post AND tag us codywankinkbingo2022 in the tags. This helps us find your post! Also, please include a screenshot of your bingo card with the fill circled, so we know which square you’re filling.
Throw on any appropriate tags and you’re good to go! Please place any explicit material under a cut to keep the event friendly to everyone!
