Drag him home, lovelies! ✤ SAGAU Concept: Characters are aware that they are codes, pixels, and are sentient in the player's gaming platform. When the player is offline, their programming is turned off and they gain free will. ✤ [P/Name] = Player name ✤ she/her Words: 771

「 Why is his time-limited quest so full of lore though? Like, this seems to be his story quest, actually 」

It is a good thing that when [P/Name] is online, they are all subjected to the code, thus being unable to do anything of their own will. The samurai will have a difficult time trying to prevent his smile from becoming larger than necessary.

Having Aether stand in front of him—[P/Name]'s vessel—very much under the command of the system yet definitely conscious of what's happening, still, does not help.

「 Oh my goodness, I think I'm going to cry 」

Kazuha is quite stirred, too. He hasn't had the presence of their darling player be this close after the Archon Quest at Inazuma.

At long last, following the cutscenes where he moves according to the written code, he's left to his own devices. His station is at Pudding Isle, but without Aether close by—thus being out of screen—he transfers to the wish section.

The system merely duplicates characters when necessary, though it is only one of them who bears consciousness.

After watching [P/Name] glide around, swapping islands and opening chests to hunt for wish currency, the player finally moves elsewhere—her ritual place, maybe. It seems that she's gotten enough primos.

「 Kazuha, I know you want to wander and all, but come home! 」

It is the hovering cursor over his banner that greets him when he appears in the blank void.

“So this is the [P/Name] you all spoke fondly of,” that, and of course, the new 4-star detective. “Charming.”

「 I may not be financially prepared yet but I swear I'll treat you right- 」

The way Heizou peers at the banner, curiosity piqued, is observed with unabashed delight by the other two four stars. It is without a doubt that he's already taken by their player.

Having Thoma and even Ningguang shower [P/Name] with good praises only ever bolsters that growing interest. Such is in the nature of newly released characters.

「 Kazuha, please- I have your favorite furnishing set already- CHAT WISH ME LUCK I NEED IT- I ONLY HAVE ENOUGH FOR A SINGLE TEN PULL! 」

1600 primogems—if the so-called system is merciful, then-

It takes Thoma tapping him on the shoulder for him to realize that he's being enveloped in an aura of lustrous gold.

「 CHAT IT'S GOLD 」

Well, would you look at that? He's sighing to himself in relief. I needn't worry in the first place, it seems.

In the void of black, a rift splinters through, cutting through the space and unveiling the heavenly—and hellish—wish screen. He is about to head into it himself, accompanied by a glowing widsith, when he hears a request.

「 While you're at it, can you bring Heizou, too? Thank you! 」

“Well, my friend, you heard her.”

Chuckling, he turns to the aforementioned man, who is already strolling forward with a whistle. The detective looks especially upbeat after the encouraging pats on his back.

Heizou winks. “Oh do I feel flattered.”

He can't seem to contain the excitement in his voice and honestly, he can't be blamed.

There are only wondrous stories of [P/Name]'s lovely treatment of everyone in her roster, how can they possibly not be excited to get a morsel of heaven?

“Best not keep her waiting, then.” Kazuha smiles, turning once more to jump into the blue rift. “Hm, I wonder if she has enough goblets for the two of us.”

“We'll know when we get there.”

Indeed. Nods the samurai just as he's enveloped entirely in white and gold, the rapturous sensation something he wishes could last forever.

Ah, maybe not forever, Kazuha corrects himself. For if I stayed, then I will not be able to get a glimpse of the lovely sanctuary my friends know only how to praise.

When he opens his eyes, he is on the character screen, the details of his profile listed for all to see. At his side, the new character is displayed, features subdued.

Though it is obvious that he's just as delighted to have arrived.

Screams are heard.

「 CHAT OMG HE BROUGHT HEIZOU TOO BUT I DON'T HAVE AN ANEMO GOBLET - AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA- 」

If the code isn't there to keep him in check, he would've burst into a beaming grin.

So this is what it feels like... Kazuha can feel her presence, doting and angelic. To be close to you.

He feels wonderfully... warm.

「 Welcome hoooooome! 」

Right, he smiles. Home at last.

Heya! Just found your blog and absolutely adore your style :>

I wanted to see if I could get a little blurb about my experience with my three beloved limited 5 stars, tartaglia, ganyu, and kazuha.

Childe was my first limited 5 star, I played his story quest during his second rerun and fell in love! I immediately started pulling like mad, and at somewhere between 75-77 the star turned gold, and I won my first ever 50/50. He’s still probably my favorite but I’m bias as a tartaglia simp.

Now call me a fortune teller, but I had a feeling I wouldn’t be lucky again (my sisters and I are on a streak of 6 lost 50/50s, 3 of which are mine ejnentnt) and so I looked through the list of characters and immediately fell in love with ganyu and kazuha, I started saving, I did one ten pull a banner to get 4 stars and stopped at 70 pity. I had 100 wishes saved by ganyus banner, it took every single one, but there she was. After 170 wishes, my second limited 5 star.

Now at this point I was worried, I didn’t have many primos to grind in the world and at the time people where saying that kazuha was coming every version. A lot of theses happened, I saved some wishes, went on a genshin hiatus, came back, saved some more. Until there I was, kazuhas banner, with enough to guarantee him, and then he came home. (And then I lost the 50/50 for his weapon LOLLLLLL don’t do what I do it’s a scam)

Tbh I’m at an impasse in terms of wishing, I just don’t feel the need atm, I have the characters I’ve wanted from the beginning, I’ve won, my dearest darlings all came home.

Feel free to ignore if you don’t want to or if I broke any rules, but if you decided to write anything for it I’d greatly appreciate it!

Well that only took a minor eternity. IM SOOO SORRY BBY! I kept rewriting it over and over because I wanted it to be as good as I could make it, and I’m still not entirely satisfied with it, but I’ve made you wait too long already so bleeeehhh 🥲 Again, I’m so so sooo sorry for the wait!

The Three

The stars of Teyvat were not set. Each moved and sailed throughout the heavens on its own course, adrift in the cosmic seas of stardust.

Teyvat’s people, as a result, looked to the stars for signs of your will. For you did not walk the realm they did, no, you were beyond it, beyond their skies, beyond their world. There were many whom sought to interpret the stars; albeit not everyone achieved success in the matter. Some were talented enough to catch brief glimpses, quick flashes of the secrets that the astral bodies kept locked away, though these geniuses were very few in number.

It had been chaos when the first star fell from the night sky. But as more days and nights passed, more stars came from the heavens to the earth below. The shining blue lights were a true blessing to witness, but it had been the first purple star that had fallen that was the key to understanding the events.

The violet light had reached a young lady in Mondstadt, a hard worker with strong will and stronger eagerness to please. The moment she touched the light, it had been as though a warmth had filled her body, and she could practically feel power pulsing from the Geo Vision adorning her clothes.

Noelle had been the first of many to receive one of these ‘purple stars’.

But there were others who had received a different color of star. Three individuals who had been given a fragment of power from you far greater than what was contained in the violet stars.

The first had encountered the astral blessing in secret, although he did not hide the blessing he had received.

He was known by many names.

Ajax.

Childe.

Tartaglia.

The 11th of the Fatui Harbingers.

But he had one title that he held most precious of all, even above his own name.

Your First.

It had been him who had received the shooting star that seemed to turn the night sky to day with its light. He might not have been the first to feel your presence, but he had been first to feel it’s full extent, to feel your care.

Traveling with you was always exciting. Not a moment went by that he found himself bored. No matter what duties he received, it was simply a fact that the moment he felt you call, anything that Childe was working on would be left until later.

He adored journeys with you.

He adored being with you.

Ajax well and truly adored you.

The second had been blessed one busy evening, the passerby struck with awe and wonder, albeit much to her embarrassment. Unlike the first, she did not flaunt the gift you’d bestowed upon her; no, she was far too humble to brag.

Not a day went by where Ganyu did not thank you for your blessing. She was as dutiful about it as the many tasks she carried out daily. And yet for all her work, despite how seriously she took it, at your call, she’d drop it all in an instant. You were her top priority. In all things, she worked as if every duty was given to her by you.

As time went by you’d never notice how the supply of mora and experience never ran dry. And who’d ever suspect sweet passive Ganyu to be behind the matter? After all, her kind took no pleasure in battle. But Ganyu sought no glory or joy in battle, no she sought only to aid you. As much as the modern people of Liyue might respect her secretary skills, Ganyu was a survivor of the Archon Wars. She was far from weak, something that made it easy to conquer the many leylines that were scattered throughout the land. She might not have access to this ‘resin’ she’d heard you speak of, but she could still gather a bit of the resources before they disappear.

Her love language was acts of service, and when it came to you, Ganyu would give you her everything.

The Third had received your blessing whilst seeking refuge from past hardship. They spoke of it to no one, though your presence radiated from them, telling any who would feel that this was one of your Chosen, and though he said nothing, those who bore witness did not share his silence.

Kazuha had wasted no time during his flight from Inazuma. Joining the crew of the Alcor had provided him with the companionship he had wanted, though it could never replace his dear friend. When Beidou had given the order to set sail for Inazuma once again, he’d been slightly surprised. But upon hearing the reason, he couldn’t help but feel a spark of excitement appear in him. He might not have been able to prevent his friend’s fate, but he had been granted the opportunity to aid in the abolition of the Vision Hunt Decree. He may have lost some of his faith in the divine after the actions of the Raiden Shogun, but he couldn’t deny that in that moment, he has wondered if you had granted him this opportunity.

The approach to Tenshukaku had been nerve wracking, yet he pushed through nonetheless. The sight of the traveler leaving the courtyard had been reassuring, at least until he could see the shaken expression on the outlander’s face. Paimon was by their side as usual, visibly fearful and slightly trembling. Dark clouds cover the skies, violet lightning streaking through the heavens. The pressure was near crushing. When the Shogun appeared, blade drawn, it was as though he was there in the past once more, helpless to save his companion from her Divine Punishment.

No.

Not this time.

He moved without thought, drawing his blade and clashing it with the archon’s own, violet sparks flying through the air, the Masterless Vision of his dear friend blazing into purple light, and for a few seconds he faltered.

A brilliant golden light burst from the heavens, parting the dark clouds and blazing towards the earth.

When the light crashed into his form, it was as though he was filled with a energy not felt in the months since losing his friend. He knew the presence immediately.

You.

The eyes of the Shogun widened in shock as her blade was forced backwards, appalled that this human had gained your favor over her. Kazuha was blown backwards, and was left stunned for a moment. The rest of the events that followed had been a blur, and for a while he half believed that it had all been in his head. But the lingering feeling of your warmth was undeniable.

Kazuha knew that as one of the Alcor’s crew, he would not always be able to come when you called, so needless to say, both he and the rest of the crew had been quite surprised when the ronin vanished, only to appear again hours later, claiming to have been to the mainland. After several times this became something they simply accepted. Each time he would return, he’d bring back something to the crew, and Beidou jokingly said she ought to put him to work as a messenger.

You’d never notice how you never seemed to run out of ingredients and regional specialties, but rest assured, the Kaedahara was diligent about insuring he collected whatever helpful things he came across during his journeys.

He might not always be the most available, but if you should call on him, Kazuha Kaedahara will doubtless answer.

day 40 of saving for jing yuan rerun: 182 wishes

i fell asleep before making a post yesterday

we are now at the point where if i somehow lose all of my pity i'll still be able to get a guaranteed jing yuan

the event is a little shorter than i expected but that's probably because of the simulated universe and other stuff that's also in this update

this is a wild stretch but in the final victor light cone description, dr ratio is referred to as "them". therefore, obviously, mihoyo intended for people (me) to interpret dr ratio as nonbinary, and the use of the pronoun them definitely wasn't for any other purpose such as keeping a mysterious air about the characters or anything

also a very big thing about the quest is that the trailblazer gets to talk for once

you can pick options and then the trailblazer will have a Voice Line, which is something that i almost forgot could happen

also there's several ace attorney cross examinations i mean debates, which feel less out of place as dr ratio does have the overall feeling of a debate kid

there's also at least 2 instances of this thing

which you may recognize from tingyun

the characters that do this in the quest don't quite do it to the same extent, but it's noticeably intentional and not just a tilting head to the side while talking thing

honestly i thought the second part of the quest with dr ratio was a lot more interesting than the first part with ruan mei

spoilers ahead probably

in the first part of the quest, it was basically just ruan mei telling you "oh i accidentally frankensteined and created life and now you need to help me take care of it" while also telling you to your face about how much she doesn't trust you

which nothing against ruan mei but it's not that enjoyable of a premise, just being told to do stuff for the hundredth time

whereas in the second part with dr ratio you get more independence and have to prove your innocence, which actually requires some thought and is to me personally more interesting than just being told to do something

i also liked that dr ratio is getting some screen time in the main quest instead of just suddenly showing up in a random character quest with no plot relevance or connection to other characters (i'm looking specifically at argenti), which i suppose might be because he's going to be a bridge character into 2.0, kind of similar to kazuha in genshin, so he can't just be dropped into the plot with absolutely no prior mention

and also once again the trial run characters with the hoyoverse builds are better than what i will ever be able to do, which is a little sad but oh well

Hi! The C6 Heizou was extremeeee luck, plus I saved up about 250 or so wishes for his banner because I fell completely in love with him as soon as his drip marketing dropped AND I wanted Kazuha too, so them sharing a banner was amazing for me, and C2 Kazuha happened in less than 90 pulls somehow and I'm still in shock about it, as for C4 Xiao I got his C1 at the beginning of the year and then when he reran recently I went for as many cons as I could and was lucky enough to get to C4 (I want C6 next rerun 😭)

I am very thankful

As for Zhongli I went for his C2 and got C0 with two Qiqis so I sadly gave up on that LMFAO

I just realized how Kazuha's the first fictional character to keep me simping for him for 9 months

It usually only lasts for a week or two but 9 months...

It's not my fault he has good looks and I absolutely love his personality.

I'm loyal to Kazuha and if the day ever comes that I'm not in love with him, I give you permission to slap me very hard :D

All the self control on saving for Kazuha is really paying off

I understand the how and why of the delay (very well actually seeing as I am still recovering from a nasty bit of covid myself a month after I got sick) but that doesn't really change how screwed I am because of it. I'm f2p and saving rn for Kazuha and Kazuha only because he got away from me once that's not happening again! So not only is my stardust drying up (had to skip buying the standard wishes this month to still be able to afford the event wishes next month) But I had counted on kazoo getting a rerun before or at the same time Kaeya was in the shop since he's my main and I still need 10 more starglitter to get his constellation. But now I'll miss out and have to wait until December! I finished BP 2 weeks ago so not like I can get more standard wishes from there either... I was so excited over finally getting the famous C4 Kaeya shield... ugh

maybe this will help, maybe not, but i heard kazuha and klee are going to rerun along with golden apple island in 2.8 👀 personally i think that's highly likely, but whether or not you think so too is a different story.

also, like you said, kaeya comes back every six months. maybe in the meantime you'll have gathered more blue wishes and pulled him! patience, young padawan; he shall return in time.

Regarding the Chronicled Wish, I think it's good if there's no character you want on the event character banner.

For example, you love Eula and you're f2p. When Eula first came out you fell in love with her. You saved up so much but you ended up losing your 50/50 to Jean. You tried saving up again but her banner ended. You end up saving tons of primogems for her rerun, skipping every single banner, maybe pulling for a few for characters you like but she doesn't show.

When she finally gets her rerun, you try again and this time, you get her but you want her weapon too and lose that 50/50. You're so frustrated since you realise that it will probably be ages until she shows up again but during the 4.5 livestream, you see she's there and her weapon in a new banner. How great is that? Yes, you'll still lose your 50/50 but if none of the characters in the main character banners are what you want, why not spend your primogems on the Chronicled Wish?

That's a recommendation that if like to give. If you're someone who's not interested in Chiori because she seems bad or Itto because you don't like his playstyle. Maybe you don't want a constellation for your Neuvillette or Kazuha or maybe you just don't want them in general, why not pull on a banner where you have a chance to maybe get a character or weapon you want?

Take 4.4 for example. I didn't want Xianyun because personally, I found it quite strange on how and why Cloud Retainer was becoming playable when she's normally a minor character to the story so it was a kinda personal reason for not pulling. I didn't fancy Xiao because I'm not a fan on his plunging because I can't get the timing right in fighting events or his trial run. I didn't fancy a C1 Use Miko and I didn't want a C1 Nahida because if I want her, I want enough primos for her C1 & her C2. I literally haven't wished since 2nd Feb and began saving up for 4.6 due to the rumours on Arlecchino.

When it was revealed that Kazuha was rerunning early and not in summer, I now badly want him (and got some help with a poll too on deciding!) But since I have already saved some wishes for Kazuha, having something like the Chronicled Wish available during 4.4, I could just make sure I have enough spare for Kazuha and use the rest to wish. I literally had to make an alt account so I could freely spend any primogems on the current banner just to stop me from spending my already saved up stash and maybe winning my 50/50 on Xiao or Yae Miko.

So is the Chronicled Wish a good thing? Yes. Is it a bad thing? Also yes but it gives opportunities for those who want to spend their primogems but on someone or a weapon they want rather than waiting a lifetime again for them to come back. Plus, it be super cool if when the next Chronicled Wish banner shows up, it's Liyue characters followed by Inazuma, Sumeru and Fontaine and in the future Natlan and Snezhnaya one's with the weapons are replaced with their signatures and the skyward would remain as alternatives.

In the end, it's up to you to decide. I like it but hate it at the same time and I know that a lot of people feel the same way.

also, i'd just like to say that kazuha most definitely loves you even though he came home late!!! it's time to tell a long story about my luck on kazuha's banners!!

so basically, on kazuha's first rerun banner, i got his c2 (so 3 copies of him) except i lost every 50/50, and i ended up spending 400 wishes on him <//3 in conclusion: i thought he hated me

however, this time around, i think i spent a little more than 200 wishes (which was honestly way better than last time), and i got 4 copies of kazuha teehee :D i already had a guarantee, and i was at 73 pity at the beginning of his banner, so i got his c3 in the first 10 pull!! immediately after, i did another 10 pull, and i expected ABSOLUTELY NOTHING except the wish turned gold, and i got his c4. after obtaining two kazuha constellations within 20 pulls, i did a few more ten pulls and ended up getting tighnari early (yes, i lost the 50/50, but i wanted tighnari, and it was early, so i didn't mind). a few pulls after that, i got kazuha's c5 (i think it was early again). the 10 pull after i got c5, i ended up losing my 50/50 to jean, but i literally didn't care because it meant i was guaranteed. i had like 50(ish) wishes left at the time (courtesy of all the starglitter i got because HEIZOU WOULDN'T LEAVE ME ALONE), so i only needed 20 something more at most to hit pity (and i knew i would most likely get kazuha around the 76-78 mark because i believe it's the most statistically likely). i didn't even need to grind. kazuha just came home when shop reset happened, and i got his c6 due to decent luck.

tl;dr: i thought kazuha hated me, but he actually loved me all along. in other words, he probably loves you too!!!! did i decide to tell you through an extremely elaborate story? yes. do i regret it? no. also, how high was your pity when you got him?? because if it was 90, i have some very bad news...

as per me, i am officially a c1 scaramouche haver currently waiting on his rerun to maybe get c2 — i was super lucky with my pulls btw, got my first copy on my first ten pull ahah

i still try to play genshin in my breaks from work, and my biggest pride and joy is the fact that my sumeru teapot is thriving.

i wish i had some fun facts to share, but my life has been pretty boring since i started working - unless my clients really fuck up when writing their requests to me, nothing funny ever happens. oh, but today i'll be going with a friend to do a full-night reading of one of the greatest fics that has ever written by an italian author, so that's good ig! also my obsession with bungou stray dogs kicked in again so that's all i'm thinking about 24/7 rn your italian word of the day, it's "nostalgia" — it's written exactly like in english, but the pronounciation is different. there's even a funny italian song with this word in it! in english it would say something along the lines of "nostalgia, nostalgia, what a bitch" (scaramouche might like it, but it's way too bubbly a song for him — if he ever met kazuha tho, i'm sure he'd sing it for him)

it’s not weird, no. I’ve wanted to know what you’ve been up to, and I’m glad you have a job and seem to be doing well.

I have had many ups and downs over these months, and at the moment I’m in a bit of a limbo. I don’t know how I feel. But summers soon, so I guess I don’t have to think much about that, and I can just enjoy the nice weather (which is rare here)

I didn't watch the livestream since uugghh I'm always pretty much somehow busy or just not motivated to watch it all hahah. Although I am thinking of watching the vod or sumn. But oh !! I LOVE when lumine is there <3 Lumine supremacy all the way. I saw someone say that the livestream felt awkward, like they didn't plan it out so idk what to think, yet I'll trust your word on the sleepover vibe :) I can imagine.

I can agree on the tcg though. . . I went on Reddit as usual to see what's up in the livestreams and saw the illustration (?) including tcg stuff and I just sigh. I'm not good at tcg either and I don't really,,, find the time to actually play it 😭 Ig it is sort of fun but it gets pretty boring. But the pink girl? I saw a pic of a girl with pink hair, holding a camera, so I'm guessing that might be her then (it was in Chinese so dhdhd idk, but it was official media).

As for the 5 stars, ooh! That's alright. It sometimes sucks to be f2p, gotta be careful and think everything out. But that's nice!! I'll be praying for you when Scara reruns! You can pull for the other fellas when they have another rerun, of course.

I'm thinking of pulling just to get kirara bc she's so cute WAAAAA but it might suck bc,,, I've seen that one of her best weapons would be key of khaj nisut... and that makes me cry bc that means 3 cute girls will have to share that goddamn weapon GGRRGRGHTHT— but it would be on yae's side. Dendro does have more reactions and if I have to risk pulling a 5 star while going for Kirara, it's gonna be yae. Just because I have Tighnari and yae is very good with him <3 but then there's also kazuha,,, and I love kazuha very much so I can't figure if I should pull for his cons or possibly get a new wanted 5 star + new 4 star.
