Unfair Tears
In which self aware genshin characters hear their beloved creator... crying???? This simply won't do!
TW: A mention of stabbing himself in Xiao's part but nothing graphic, just exaggeration.
you can clearly tell which characters personality i know more lol
It was long past the time you usually played any games, but you had forgotten once again to do your commissions in Genshin. The characters themselves weren't that surprised of your late log in, you usually managed to complete your commissions, so they expected you to come and do them at some point.
And here your team was, running around place to place to finish the commissions you were given. But you were unusually silent. The characters were used to hearing at least a note or two from you every few minutes, whether it be about something in your day, their damage, or just a small detail you noticed about the game. But they were hearing nothing of the sort this night. They found it odd, but it wasn't too alarming. It was just a bit of silence, after all. But when the silence was broken? Not something they were expecting.
Sobs. Broken breathing, gasps, and the sound of muffled cries.
Your team malfunctioned. What? Are those.. sobs?? From you??? They weren't aware why you were crying, or how long you felt like this. They were in a mixture of concern and fear. What if you were crying out of pain? Were you hurt?! Why are you crying...?
Kazuha
For somebody known as calm and collected, that demeanor and mindset flew out of the window. What was going on? Tears were never good, at least in the way you were crying. You deserve nothing less of perfection! So why should you have to waste tears on anything?
He's turning all of his attention towards you, if it already wasn't. Listening to any muffled sentences, clues to what's happening. He feels terrible that he can't simply be there to assist you. That he's stuck in Teyvat, not your world. If you happen to be crying over somebody, then he's got his answer.
He hopes to himself that nobody had done anything to you. Maybe it was a good friend of your getting hurt? Why would you be sobbing over that..? Overthinks a little bit, but being him, manages to control the wild ideas he's getting. What if somebody did something to you? Broke your heart? The more he thinks of the possibility of someone hurting you, the less composed he gets. Snaps out of it not long after, but tries to do what he can. Saying a few lines that you swore weren't in the game. Maybe an odd story from his travels as an attempt to make you laugh? The only thing he doesn't want is to hear your cries.
Xiao
You were in the middle of a commission that included clearing a hilichurl camp when the concerning sound of you crying came to his ear. He faltered for a moment. Instead of slipping up during the commission, his damage was getting... higher?
With every overthinking idea of what was happening to you, he was only getting more pent up. Angry that something had hurt you. I anybody on this earth deserved to feel pain, it certainly wasn't you. Taking his anger out on what was left of the hilichurls you were supposed to be fighting. If you were clear headed, you would've noticed that Genshin was seemingly on autopilot. Fighting with unusually higher numbers. Somewhat blaming himself. If he wasn't stuck in the game, he could've protected you from whatever what making you cry! He'd rather stab himself with the very spear you oh-so graciously gifted him then hear you cry once more.
Not one that's very sure how to cheer you up. But if you make it clear that you enjoy his company throughout the game, he might just appear in one or two Liyue commissions. If you listen closely, his voicelines sound much more aggressive during combat for a bit, but whenever talking to you he sounds more.. soft. Considerate even.
aaakoskwojojcowjdoj take this non proof read piece of crap :)
i got scara btw woop woop :DDD

Hiii good morning/afternoon/evening!
I just saw the event post and I have come bearing a request.
If you do not mind..Can I please request a sagau kinda crack fic where there’s a tournament/competition being held in Teyvat where vision users must prove their love and devotion to the creator by fighting to the death (oooh brave scaryyy fighttt~) and whoever loses a.k.a dies are “punished”
Everyone thinks this “punishment” is horrible. Like they’ll be sent to a place where they can no longer feel their creator’s grace.
But little do they know this punishment actually just turns them into one of the creators thousand of plushies.
So they just sit there in the bed, unblinking, soft and squishy, watching their beloved Grace going on about their day normally
I recently read the Zhongli turning into a plush fic and my mind went “How about the other vision users turning into a plush?” Also I think my request is more like a reverse!isekai than sagau..Sorry..!
Fem or GN!Reader please! (While I prefer fem as I’m a female I would like this to be as inclusive as possible for other people out there..! So GN is most likely more suitable)
I’m not sure who the characters are but..If you can, can you please add any of the anemo boys and Itto?
I apologize for making this incredibly long. Please feel free to delete this request if you don’t want to do it! Anyways, that’s all. Thank you and I hope you have a wonderful day!
It's okay about the length of your request, I really liked that idea. I hope you enjoy the way I wrote the fic, this is my first time responding to a request and I'm a little nervous. Of the anemo boys, I chose Kazuha because I'm actively trying to get him c2 now, I hope this fic will help me lure him. If you have any other idea and you like how I wrote this one, you can send another request while the event lasts, I will be glad. ヽ(´。• ᵕ •。`)ノ

It was a beautiful sunny summer day, the warm wind playfully ruffled your hair, it must have been Venti's antics. Ordinary inhabitants of the regions came to support the vision wielders from their nations, hoping that one of their people could become one of the seven champions, bestowing glory on the entire nation. For your allogenes, as they said, participation in the tournament was the best way to show their loyalty, love and devotion to you. You chuckled, their willingness to put their lives on the line for a slim chance of winning and getting your confession amused you.
You shifted your gaze to the archons standing next to the throne, they were forbidden to participate, otherwise the outcome of the tournament would have been too predictable, and it was not interesting that way. Although you allowed adepts and youkai to participate, and it may not have been fair, you just wanted… more entertainment. Venti's offended expression popped into your head when he knew he couldn't compete in the tournament. On that day, he followed you like a tail, not unstick for a second, hoping that you will change your mind. The reaction of the other archons was much more restrained, but each of them was certainly upset by the impossibility of participating in the competition. After all, they were your most loyal followers, following you for thousands of years, and the fact that you denied them the opportunity to show their loyalty to you frustrated them. But your desire was above all, so they simply accepted your decision.
Catching your gaze, Zhongli bowed his head respectfully.
"Do you need anything, Your Grace?" The geo archon's eyes were full of awe and willingness to fulfill your every wish.
"Please feel free to tell us if you need anything." Ei joined the conversation. "Perhaps you would like to taste the Inazuma confections? I have specially brought them for you, and I hope they can please your exquisite taste, Your Grace."
"Sounds wonderful, I'll gladly taste them, in that case, Zhongli, could you make some fruit tea?"
"With pleasure, Your Grace." Zhongli bowed.
You smiled brightly at both of them and noticed how Zhongli's breath hitched for a second, and a blush spread across Ei's cheeks. You followed them with your eyes as they went to fulfill your requests. The tournament was about to start and up to this point you wanted to face some of your especially favorite allogenes. So that you instructed the servant to bring the two people you named.
Itto could be heard from far away, explaining something very loudly to Kazuha walking beside him.
"Of course, I will definitely take the place of one of the seven champions, it cannot be otherwise, because I am the great and invincible Arataki Itto, the supreme, the one and oni!"
"Behave yourself, we are in front of the Creator." A smile appeared on Kazuha's face as he met your eyes and knelt down on one knee with his hand on his heart, Itto follows his example.
"I'm glad to see you my allogenes, you can get up from your knees, let's leave excessive formality."
Kazuha and Itto obey your order, you could see a spark of curiosity in their eyes, why did you ask them to come? Just do not think that they were unhappy with this, for them it was only a joy to be next to you, your presence always warmed their hearts.
"I just wanted to wish you the best of luck for the competition, you are one of my favorite followers." Your smile was more tender than the most expensive silk.
"I'm honored to be one of your favorites, Your Grace, I won't let you down, I promise." There was a fire in Kazuha's eyes that should have led him to victory.
"That's right, we will definitely win! With Your Grace's faith in our strength, we will definitely become champions! Ushi and I will show you excellent fights and after the victory, maybe Your Grace will agree to fights with bugs."
"Well, if you win, I'm really up for a couple of fights." You giggled. "I won't delay you, you can go back to the others."
Bowing once more, Itto and Kazuha left, and a minute later Zhongli and Ei returned.
"As you requested your tea Your Grace, the flavor is based on sun-dried mulberry petals and should have a sweet aftertaste due to the addition of zaytun peach juice." Zhongli gave you an elegant porcelain cup and placed the teapot on the table next to the throne.
"It's a dango Your Grace, bon appetit." Ei handed you a plate with colorful balls strung on a stick and poured with sauce.
You take a bite and the sweetness in your mouth. Tasty. The widths are tender and seem to melt in your mouth, you cover your eyes with pleasure. In the blink of an eye, you eat the confection and look at the plate with sadness.
"It was delicious." You put plate on the table and pick up a hot mug of tea and blow on it before you take a sip.
Ei lights up with joy "I'm glad you enjoyed it, maybe you'd like some more sweets after the tournament?"
"I won't refuse such a generous offer." You lean back on the throne and continue to sip the tea, just like Zhongli said it had a sweetish aftertaste. Not the worst tea you've had in your long life.
Soon the iron smell of blood will be in the air and the people will cheer for cruelty. What a rotten world, but how do you like it. Perhaps among all your creations, they were the most bloodthirsty and devoted. Your beautiful dolls, ready for incredible deeds, are all covered in blood and with wide smiles on their faces until the very end. The last sip of tea marks the beginning of a bloody dance from which seven will come out victorious, and the rest… what about them, something much more interesting awaits them.
It's time to start the tournament. Thousands of eyes are attentively watching you with bated breath as you rise from your throne, walk to the edge of the loggia and put your hands on the railing. A wide, joyful smile appears on your face and you begin to speak.
"Today, on this beautiful day, there will be a tournament with life-and-death battles between my precious allogenes. The names of the seven winners will be covered with glory and they will be personally blessed by me. The losers will be punished after the resurrection. The stakes are high and if anyone wishes to opt out, now is the last time you can do so." Your voice, picked up by the power of the anemo, resounded throughout the arena.
You look around the participants and all you see in their eyes is the will to win. Their souls burn with fiery determination and no one is going to retreat. Even if the punishment is excommunication from your divine presence, a terrible event, the thought of which makes their hearts bleed, they were willing to take the risk. Your gaze lingers on Kazuha, his serenity standing out a lot from the nervous anticipation of the other allogenes, which some of them hid just a little more carefully than others. Also striking was Itto's high spirits, whose wide smile was brighter than the sun. No wonder they were your favorites.
"Since there is no one who wants to withdraw, let's start the tournament." You returned to your throne and prepared to watch magnificent battles in which every drop of blood spilled was dedicated to you.
The number of contenders for victory gradually decreased. After each battle, the sand in the arena changed its color to red more and more, and the screams of the crowd became louder. Childe quickly and brutally cracking down on the next opponent, ignoring other people's attempts at resistance and having time to wink at you at the end of each fight, before someone else's head flies away from the body. Diluc whose phoenix mercilessly roasts the next unfortunate to the bones, so that the smell of burnt flesh could be felt a few more fights after. Distracting the attention of opponents with the help of hydro illusions and the swordsmanship of the Kamisato clan brought Ayato victory after victory.
Unfortunately, your favorites' chances of winning were dwindling every second, each of them was badly enough wounded that he might not survive his next fight. However, you never really believed in their victory, but still called them to give them hope. Yes, and then it will be funny to watch how they will apologize to you for losing, when you also personally bestowed your blessing of luck on them. Though they'll have to survive the resurrections to begin with, it's a pity you didn't say how quickly it would happen, so they would have been in a very unusual position since then, but you didn't think they'd complain.
The last fights have passed and the seven winners have been determined, as you thought Kazuha and Itto were not among them. The spectators from the regions whose participants won shout even louder than before, while the residents of the losers are depressed and look enviously. You go down to the arena with Zhongli and Ei, and when you almost slip on the blood-stained sand, you grab Geo Archon's hand. Zhongli's muscles tense up under your touch, and the warmth of your hand is felt vividly even through the fabric. He closes his eyes, hiding his pupils that have become vertical for a second, you were so close to him, exciting close. Your warm palm burned through him, making him feel butterflies in his stomach, as mortals said.
You do not focus on what happened, and without letting Zhongli say a word, you quickly approach the winners. The Allogenes' eyes flare jealously when they notice you are holding Zhongli's hand, but you don't let that feeling flare up and start talking.
"Congratulations to you all on your victory, your strength and devotion have been proven, this evening there will be a ball where you will be honored and I will perform a blessing ritual."
They bow respectfully and praise you, saying that it was only by your mercy that they won. How happy they are now standing in front of you among all the applicants. You smile favorably at them, allowing them to enjoy your presence next to them. When you leave, they sadly follow you with their eyes, but it is not so strong because they know that you will see each other again in the evening.
You dress up in beautiful clothes made of expensive fabrics to your taste, smile at the mirror, knowing that the eyes of all those present will be turned to you. After all, you were their Creator, their precious Creator for whose sake they were ready for anything. You enjoy the ball, drink sparkling wine, which, unfortunately or fortunately, did not affect you in any way and dance with some winners. When one of them manages to make you laugh, all those present eagerly absorb this sound, recording it on the subcortex of consciousness in order to reproduce it later.
You return to your chambers and fall on the bed without undressing, you may have been immortal, but emotional fatigue still affected you. There were a lot of plush toys in your room, they were everywhere, on the bed, sitting in armchairs and on bookshelves. Their eyes seemed to be watching you intently. Well, there was nothing surprising in the fact that they did it. You took the toy in which Kazuha was supposed to be. A cute charming toy for you, silent, but understanding, seeing and feeling everything. And there were a lot of those. You gently kissed the toy, if you had done this while he was a human you are sure that he would have been redder than boiled cancer. The lack of reaction was frustrating, so sooner or later you were going to put them back into human bodies. In the end, it would be a real loss of so many insanely loyal and devoted followers. But for now, they could just be your cute toys.
Night or day they are always watching, greedily absorbing every little thing, every gesture, everything that you want to show them. Your sleepy expression in the morning, the way you stretch before finally getting out of bed, the exposed areas of your skin when you get out of the bathroom. They enjoy all these and are infinitely glad to be here in your chambers so close to you. Getting to know you better and better, remembering all the little habits. They don't want it to end, you won't let them get that close if they become human again, will you? So they'd rather be here with you in that state, just please don't leave them alone don't put them away in dark wardrobes or closets, let them watch. Please.

For the lot of you who may be somewhat chubby, squishy, chonky, or any other word to describe someone with a lot of meat on their bones.
Hi! I'm one of you, and I'm here to hopefully ease the insecurities just a little~
The way I word this is how I try to refer to myself, and you may not feel comfortable with all the things I've written. Please keep that in mind, and stay safe.
Here you go my darlings <3
Towering statues and endless sculptures dating back centuries depict the Creator. Their divine robes laying comfortably upon plush thighs and stomach rolls.
Regal and powerful, the statues overlook the land with pride. Comforting to all under it's gaze.
.
You descend, and because of those statues, you find that your body type has become a beauty standard. The extra chub that you carry is a mark of prosperity.
Not to mention that it makes you the perfect image of protection. Soft and comforting, yet strong and sturdy. A layer of warmth against a cold universe.
.
Individually, your acolytes love it for their own reasons.
Klee find you a perfect pillow when it is finally time to lay down for a nap. Diona too will snuggle up and rest her head on you, wherever you allow.
Albedo and Kazuha find you to be a perfect muse. Albedo sketches many an image of you, always making you see the soft and gentle way he views you rather than the harsh and insulting way you may have been treated before. While Kazuha searches for the right words to describe the feeling of safety you bring him. With his words, he moves you to see you the way he does. Perfect.
.
Venti is always a tease, but he'd never put you down for your figure. Or at all, considering he loves you. He often brings you around Mond for hours, only for Venti to find the perfect place to lay down and look at the clouds and stars. You'll settle in and of course, Venti lays his head right on your stomach. He giggles and smiles up at you. Claiming that it's the most comfortable place to lay.
Zhongli will not hear of this insecurity. How dare anyone make you feel like you were any less than perfect? He insists now that you come and lay on him as he lounges in his bed. The moment you do Zhongli is gently tracing his hands over you. Soft, reassuring squeezes administered to your soft body as he tells you the truth. That you are perfect and beautiful, and that he will always adore you.
Ei is the first to notice if you have any issues to do with food.
Your appetite seems to be fluctuating? This is not cause for alarm on its own, but Ei is watching.
She will speak to you respectfully. What is the issue? Is the food not to your taste?
No, that's not it! You assure her.
Well then, are you feeling unwell?
No! Honestly you feel really good now, they only feed you the best quality food. Your body is getting the best nutrition currently possible in Teyvat!
Is it... That you simply do not like eating with others around?
That's it. That's... It?
Suddenly you only eat in the privacy of your own chambers unless you decide otherwise. Servants bring you food and then leave. Returning every so often with a polite knock and await response. Of course, your archons are easy to reach if you need anything at all in between.
.
Clothes shopping is never an issue for you again.
People aspire to be similar to your body type, many garments are already made with you in mind! And if there is anything you'd ever want that didn't fit, believe me there are plenty of your followers willing to throw money at designers and tailors to make one that does.
.
.
(it's me again, this was a little love letter to people who look like me! Remember, you are amazing, and you make the ultimate pillow!)

divine favor
summary: so, they’re your favorite vessel. how do they react? includes yae miko, itto, kazuha, kaeya, chongyun, and noelle, in that order
word count: ~800
-> warnings: like one swear word?
taglist: @samarill || @thenyxsky || @valeriele3 || @shizunxie || @boba-is-a-soup || @yuus3n || @esthelily || @turningfrogsgay || @cupandtea24 || @genshin-impacts-me

Tumblr media
yae miko — out and proud
uses her connection to the divine as leverage almost every chance she gets, showing off the extra gleam to her vision eagerly. occasionally teases ei over the fact that she’s the favorite, not the literal archon. she’s maybe a bit surprised herself at that fact at first, but she’s not about to let that show when using it for her wants is so much more interesting.
“Please, of course I know what I’m doing. I wasn’t chosen by the divine for nothing.”
itto — show off
literally the moment you log off after wishing him for the first time he meets up with the gang to celebrate. it doesn’t matter if you only brought him to level 20 or instantly fully leveled him, he goes on about it for hours. any changes to his weapon would be shown off, and if you get his signature then he’s incredibly proud of it. sometimes he pokes fun at kujou sara because of his glider, but shinobu usually keeps it quiet enough nothing bad really happens. it’s not like sara can do much since he’s a favored vessel, but the gang doesn’t have to know that.
“Guys, come here! No, it’s not an onikabuto this time, look! I got a new sword today, isn’t it cool?”
kazuha — doesn’t exactly hide it
kazuha never gloats or tells stories when they aren’t wanted, but… instead of climbing down the mast when returning from the crow’s nest, he’s more commonly seen jumping from the side, letting his glider catch him. despite being an inazuman native, his time with you has made him an expert at gliding, a fact typically seen in the delicate fold of his glider every time his feet touch the deck. he makes sure to take care of it, running his fingers through the soft, feather-like mechanisms on its surface partly to remove any salt built up, but also because he likes the feeling.
“It was the chance of fate that allowed me to become so close to my god. Nothing more, nothing less.”
kaeya — flashy in the front, “what the fuck” in the back
he hadn’t expected to become a vessel so soon in your journey, but adapted quickly. you were early in your journey throughout teyvat, so he honestly expected you to drop him once you got someone more powerful, someone you surely liked more. and then you didn’t. and then he’s suddenly fighting with impossible speed and strength, his vision a sharp, glittering blue, and with every day that passes where he’s still the subject of your favor, the shock sets in a bit more. he doesn’t even go to the angels share the night he’s triple crowned, too dazed to try and interact with people, instead laying in his bed and staring at the ceiling.
“Why would i be their favorite? …Don’t tell me you’ve gone and started questioning the divine now, have you?”
chongyun — disbelieving
literally in shock the entire day after he’s been wished. also doesn’t matter how much you prepared for him, he’s stunned. he can feel his power grow, his claymore something new and so much sharper, a glider he doesn’t quite know how to use yet now at his disposal. once the shock wears off he has to take a few hours to calm himself down and keep from overheating, most likely with the help of xingqiu, xiangling, and the cool breeze by the ocean.
“I-I don’t know what I did… I’ve never even properly exorcised a demon—am I really worthy of this?”
noelle — oh jeez oh god oh wait oh jeez-
similar to kaeya, she was surprised that she was chosen so quickly, but rationalized it just as fast. she was to be a stepping stone, someone to protect you early on, a transient phase while you got your standing in teyvat. yes you leveled her, yes you took her with you to liyue, but that’s just because you hadn’t gotten anybody better, right? you didn’t… she wasn’t really your favorite, right..? poor noelle, it takes you fully ascending her for her to finally acknowledge your favoritism. though she doesn’t know what she’s done to earn this spot, she’s more than proud of it, taking the badge of her vision more seriously than her duties to the knights.
“It doesn’t matter what I’ve done to earn this place, what matters is that I do my very best to keep it.”

Zhongli has been one of THE characters I’ve kept in my party since the first day of his release, he is my little meow meow kitty dragon and I refuse to let him go.
Recently though, I started fixating on Kazuha who I’ve been using more of in battles and I stg, every time I end a fight with Kazuha there is a split SECOND where Zhongli appears on the screen with his spear and it’s driving me insane.
Like I love you, but let me finish the battle with our little wind boy in HIS fighting pose 😭

i love a good old traumatized reader
reader whose favorite acolyte is xiao, even if he killed them once or twice ! at least he had the courtesy to make it quick..
reader who flinches every time someone makes a sudden move near them. we study their every move with an intense gaze, our body rigid and cold.
reader who does their best to disguise their emotions, but really can’t help but look at certain acolytes with apathy. i mean, who would look someone in the eye after they removed your limbs?
reader who wakes up screaming almost every night, still plagued by memories of the things they endured.
we try to act collected, sure, but the facade cracks sometimes around our closest acolytes. the ones we know we can trust- as friends. ((maybe kazuha, xiao, or itto. big guy. himbo. good hugs. also small guys. good for cuddling.
but yippee!! itto or kazuha never even tried to kiII us! that’s a win in my book. xiao on the other hand,, has beheaded us twice! we thank him for making it painless though. i like to think they all get along well
Few Headcanons + Slight Discussion
Sorry, Anon. This is too angsty and beyond my level of bad writing so no oneshot today 💀 Not to mention that this request is giving me heavy "mary sue" or "damsel in distress" vibes. I don't particularly like those if I'm being honest. So, instead, please accept these headcanons!
Although this idea is really good and well thought out, I personally disagree the idea of Reader even trying to be around their acolytes.
Sure, they may still have their favorite character and all that, but let's be honest, anyone who's gained PTSD at this level like Reader would want to stay away from everyone as far as possible.
However, I admit that to the people that were nice and didn't try to kill Reader, they will certainly be talked to. Said-characters will probably have to be prepared to face a lot of unhappy glares and faces.
Though I do doubt Reader will be even willing to go out all that often, so they'll probably invite them to their palace or something. Or maybe, if you wanna make it so that Reader does go out once in a while, Reader sneaks out and does their best to hide and visit said-characters.
Since this request has a slight soft spot for Xiao, despite him being one of the killers, I like to imagine that Reader has a admire-stay-away game with him. They admire them from afar, but won't go close or even start a conversation with him in fear of being killed.
Reader ain't risking being killed again, no matter how fast that man will make it. It's still traumatizing, alright?
Alright, back to the characters that didn't attempt to kill Reader. Itto and Kazuha are so going to get spoiled by Reader with a lot of things—personally made dishes, random gifts, and just simply having a relaxing good time.
Half suspect that Reader will be silent. They are trying to be aware of their surroundings at all times, even during these relaxing moments. Itto and Kazuha have to constantly remind them to have fun and relax because sometimes Reader gets to irked up of being caught.
Let's be honest, these two can protect Reader just fine. They've had their encounters with the Raiden Shogun (sort of, on Itto's behalf), so they aren't exactly scared.
And that's all I got! Sorry if this wasn't what you wanted, Anon, but it's the best I got. See you all around, now! :)
Tumblr media
Ghost Rebel Side Notes: I was originally going to reject this request, but I figure it would be better to just make headcanons of these. Do note that i might not be so lenient as I was with this request. I don't really like too angsty reader—sometimes they're just too much. It gives me "damsel in distress" vibes and I don't really like it.

May i please request SAGAU with scaramouche, tighnari, cyno and kazuha "You have such beautifull hair. They would look stunning if you grew them out. I promise i would help you take care of it"
event closed!
word count. 1.2k
୨୧ — ꒰ cw. yandere, unhealthy relationships, possessive & obsessive thoughts/behaviors, power dynamics, religious + cult themes, sagau + cult au, g/n reader. i do not condone yanderes irl.
୨୧ — ꒰ a/n. sorry i haven't posted in a hot minute, currently at my grandmothers & my brother has the flu, so i've had a hard time focusing on writing T_T
Tumblr media
scaramouche
"You have such beautiful hair. It would look stunning if you grew it out. I promise I'll help you take care of it."
Your voice is soft like a lamb's fleece. His heart clenches from your tone, twisting as if pulled tight by an invisible string. You run your fingers through his hair, playing with it like it's something to be treasured. You touch him as if he's something precious; something to be nurtured and protected.
The thought hurts more than he thought it would. And Scaramouche detests the feeling building in his chest, hammering against his ribcage— burrowing deep within him, far enough he can no longer reach it. Far enough that he can't stop it, anymore.
Scaramouche shudders when your hands brush against the nape of his neck, warm against the cold of his skin. His heart pulls once again, teetering to the edge, and it takes all of his will not to slip deeper into your warmth. You tug at his dark violet hair, rubbing his strands in between your fingers as if his hair is the smooth petal of a sakura bloom.
I promise, you say. Scaramouche wants to believe you. He wants to throw everything away and entrust himself to you in his entirety. He wants to believe that you will be the singular god, the one person, to never betray him; he wants to think you will never throw him away. Your promise is small, but Scaramouche has lost so much. He has already shown you too much.
"If that is what you wish for," he says, voice weak. He doesn't bother to bite back, to snap at you with unkindness; instead, all he thinks is of your words.
As he closes his eyes, the back of his eyelids dance with stars in the shape of you. You braid his hair and paint the dull white world he's known for his entire life with color. You fill his world with laughter, and you don't ask for anything in return.
He hopes you keep your promise.
tighnari
Tighnari can't bear to meet your eyes.
Your hands are still running through his hair, pushing his bangs to the side. Your fingers glide over his forehead, and though your touch is faint, he feels the warmth radiating from your fingertips.
Tighnari vaguely realizes he should respond to you, but the words die on his tongue, stay frozen in his throat— his ears and tail still twitch and wag, his shoulders still shake and flitter. He tries to swallow it down, but finds himself suffocating.
He has never been brought to his knees like this before. He has never been speechless, nor thoughtless— his mind only a jumble of words and meaningless phrases. His only coherent thought is of you; you, dressed in your light and suffused with your kindness. You, bright and effervescent, the ineffable and infallible god. You, his god, his creator— you, loved by his soul and tangled within.
You don't rush him, continuing to play with the blue of his hair. You're gentle, soft like dewdrops on his skin. Tighnari wonders if you're being patient, or if you threw the words carelessly enough that you did not care for his response. Even if thought nothing of him, Tighnari wouldn't mind, he'd barely feel the course of rage; he would be saddened, but to worship you alone is enough.
Tighnari still clings to his pride, to the shame he would feel if you saw him so desperate— he resists the urge to fall deeper into you with every one of your lingering brushes against his skin, reminding himself that you have no use of a worshiper tainted by greed.
"I…" The rock in Tighnari's throat finally lets up, allowing him to breathe. He hopes you don't notice the softness in his tone, the slight creek of his voice. "For you, Your Grace… anything."
cyno
Your fingers thread through Cyno's white hair uninterrupted, even despite his sudden stillness.
A scorching heat envelops his cheeks like the desert sun, searing and almost cruel. Cyno feels like a fire has been lit underneath his skin, burning and contorting to the form of his face. He wonders if you've noticed. He wonders if you care, though the thought only lasts for a brief moment before he rips it apart.
You softly twirl some of his hair, rolling it around your finger. Cyno tries to keep himself composed, attempting to face the roaring of his heart with equanimity. His hands still lightly tremble in his lap, reeling from your compliment, small as it might've been.
He hopes you've noticed. But Cyno wouldn't blame you if you hadn't, or if you didn't care. Your will is sacred, meant to be revered and venerated; to force his own on yours is sacrilegious. To expect you to do anything for him is foolish. That you like one aspect of him should be enough.
Yet, Cyno can't help himself from leaning into your words. To be special to you, to hold a place in your heart— to be the one who you love. Cyno would never imagine himself worthy enough to stand beside you, never have the gall to think himself deserving of it— but his heart still sings, still drones in his chest from the implication of your words.
You care, minute as it may be. That is enough for him. Even if you can't keep your promise to him, he will keep it for you.
"Your will is my command," Cyno replies, eyes hard and resolute.
kazuha
Your fingers are tangled in Kazuha’s hair.
He doesn't dare to complain, even when you accidentally pull too hard. Even when you latch onto a small knot and tug, he keeps his lips pursed tight, unwilling to make even a small noise.
Your promise is a small one. It would be easy for you to forget. It would be easy for you to take it back. Kazuha wouldn't blame you; only feel the dull ache in his chest that rumbles whenever he is without you. Still, he latches onto your words, onto what he knows you only uttered without thinking.
Kazuha wants you to stay. He likes it when you're near. Your presence is soft. You feel like home. Your touch is love itself, despite how his skin burns every time you brush against it.
If he closes his eyes tight enough, breathes in your scent well enough, Kazuha begins to find the pain almost pleasurable— accidental as it may be, it stops being a jolt or a groan. Only more of you, of your warmth, your comfort.
It's not as painful anymore. It's just you, after all; and you could do nothing to him to make him stop loving you. Rip his hair, or stab his heart— if it is from you, the maker of his everything, the owner of his soul; who is he to deny you?
You take his hair and braid it, one lock over another. Despite the moment of silence, you continue unimpeded, a soft smile on your face. It is with this that Kazuha is thankful you can't see his expression.
His eyes crinkle at the corners, a glimmer of fervor and quiet adoration dancing within.
“Whatever you wish,” Kazuha eyes, smile audible in his voice.

Lost in Inazuma 10
Characters: Ayato, Thoma, Gorou, Kazuha
Genre: Sagau
TW:Blood, implied torture, sexual implications (like one sentance)
2.1k words (these keep getting longer)
AN: I’m back baby! Just started college and I feel like I’m in a rom com. My life is a joke, but an entertaining one this time. Working on another longer Childe fic. Shout out to Orah-s, I love you so much. Mwah.
“Thoma, it’s fine.” You laughed as he fussed over your outfit, layers of beautiful silk that Ayato had coaxed you into. Gold thread wove throughout the fabric in a beautiful pattern. You had tried to reject it, but he didn’t let you. This was a diplomatic meeting, he argued. You should present yourself in the best light. It remained unsaid that you only had one chance to prove your divinity, something you didn’t even fully believe. No matter how much you laughed or joked, the weight of it suffocated the room.
You had chosen people who weren’t loyal to the shogun, those who had fought her tyranny before. Beidou, Kazuha, Kokomi, Gorou. People who would believe you. People who could keep secrets. You took a deep breath.
“Goldie, are you alright?” Thoma brushed your hair out of your face.
You nodded. “I’ll be fine.” You thought for a moment before leaning into him.
“Goldie! What are you…” His arms were held out awkwardly, he seemed scared to touch you.
You sat up, a bit embarrassed. “Sorry.”
“Don’t be.” He tugged you back to him, his hand feather-light on your shoulder. It was barely enough to pull you off balance, something you could easily resist if you wanted to. You didn’t. You fell back into his warm chest. His heart beat quickly next to your ear; he must be nervous too. His hand drifted down to rest on your back. The weight was comforting. His scent tickled your nose, cinnamon and tea.
“You smell nice.” You mumbled absent-mindedly.
“Huh?”
You looked up to see his wide eyes. “What?”
“Nothing…” His face was red as he looked away. “It’s just… nothing.”
“Alright then.” You laughed before sitting up and fixing your hair.
There was a knock on the door. You shot up and looked towards the sound, even though a screen blocked the view. You could hear Ayato’s footsteps as he walked toward the door to open it.
“Welcome.”
A woman’s voice greeted him, deep and rough. Beidou. “Commissioner! Kazuha here was excited for the meeting so we arrived a bit early. Hope it doesn’t throw off the schedule.”
“Any particular reason?” Ayato asked. There was a slight edge to his words,
Kazuha spoke softly, a smile in his voice. “The wind told me there was a visitor at the estate. I was looking forward to meeting them.”
Silence, while Thoma scrambled to arrange your hair and clothes. He was quiet, but you were sure that Kazuha could hear.
Another knock at the door.
“Greetings, commissioner. This discussion seemed important, so we arrived early.” The sweet voice must have belonged to Kokomi.
“So everyone is here already.” Ayato paused. “I’ll consult the other participant.” He walked around the screen and leaned down to your ear. “Are you alright with starting early?” He asked. His hand reached out to adjust your mask but he decided against it.
You nodded. “Might as well get it over with.”
Ayato offered you his arm and you accepted. You walked out from behind the screen. The guests’ faces turned to look at you.
You bowed deeply. “Thank you for your attendance.”
Your movement seemed to make Ayato uncomfortable. “No need to bow, Goldie.” He placed a hand on your back. “Please.”
Beidou smirked. “Awfully kind of you. Is this your fiance, Commissioner?” She laughed loudly. “But he’s right. There’s no need to be so formal.”
Ayato stiffened next to you. You waited a few seconds but he didn’t seem to have a response.
You held back a laugh, surprised he was caught off guard. “No, captain. Our relationship is purely business.”
Kazuha smiled as he looked between the two of you. “This is the first time I’ve seen you at a loss for words, Kamisato.”
He coughed. “Let’s focus on the purpose of the meeting.” He gestured at the tea table at the center of the room. “Make yourselves comfortable.”
With a rustle of fabric everyone was seated. You looked around. Kazuha sat to your left and Gorou sat at your right. You and Ayato were at either end of the table. The two women sat next to their subordinates.
Gorou looked at you suspiciously. “Why do you feel the need to hide your face?”
“That’s no way to talk to them.” Kokomi chastised him before speaking to you. “I apologize. He’s a general, not a politician. I must admit, I am also a bit curious.”
“No need.” You waved off her apology. “It’s a reasonable question. I am hiding from the tenryou commission.”
Kazuha looked concerned. “Why?”
“My face.” You reached behind your head to untie the string of your mask. It fell softly into your lap. “They call me an imposter.” You felt naked with your face uncovered.
Kazuha was the first to speak. “The wind whispers about you. It is a pleasure to finally meet you.” He bowed and pressed his lips to your hand. “I am at your service.”
You felt your face flush. “No-no need to go that far!” You glanced at the others at the table. Kokomi was deep in thought while Gorou stared at you. You felt your heartbeat quicken. “I can prove I’m not lying!”
“How?” His voice came out too fast, too harsh. Disbelieving.
You reached under your collar. There was a flash of metal. A knife. Ayato jumped to his feet. He was too far, all the way at the other end of the table. The metal glinted. Your hand shook as you brought it to your forearm. A hand grabbed yours and the knife fell. You looked up and saw Gorou.
His eyes were wide with shock. “What are you doing?!”
“Showing you proof!” Your voice shook.
“I don’t need any.”
You just stared at him. “But- if you think I’m lying…”
“It doesn’t matter whether you are the creator or not. Watatsumi Island doesn’t punish those that look like the creator.” Kokomi explained. “We view it as a blessing.”
Beidou sighed. “Most places are like that, apart from a few extreme sects. Inazuma’s archon just happens to follow one of them.”
You nodded. “So you won’t hurt me?” You hated how shaky your voice was. You hated how tears threatened to fall. Now was not the time for weakness.
Kazuha reached for your other hand and gently uncurled your fingers. You hadn't even realized that you had squeezed it into a fist. “Of course not. It is my duty to protect you.”
“Your duty?”
“I truly believe you are my god.”
“Why?” You asked. Kuki recognized that you looked like the statues, but that didn’t convince you. You had read the records. You were far from the first person to have this face. Your blood was enough proof for the Kamisatos’. Not that you understood why. You could think of several reasons for the color.
“The wind whispers about you.” He held your hand in both of his. “It sings your praises.”
“What does it say?” The words slipped out before you could stop them.
"It tells of soothing teas and healing touches." He paused, “It sings of golden blood and purple scars." He tapped your bandages. "May I?"
You nodded and he carefully started to unwrap the fabric. It fell away from your arm, revealing angry purple scars that branched around your arm. He uncovered his own hand and placed it next to yours. "Electro is a particularly volatile element." He looked up. “I know what it’s like to be burned. I know what it’s like to be a criminal through no fault of your own. Please, trust me.”
“Promise.” You knew how childish the request was, but you couldn’t help yourself. You needed that reassurance. “Promise that you won’t hurt me.”
“I swear on my life.” He said, a hand over his heart.
You nodded slowly, accepting his words. You were so tired, spent from all the stress. Ayato and Kokomi lead the strategizing, while Beidou butted in every one in a while to offer advice. You stayed silent. You didn’t have the energy to participate fully. Absent-mindedly you started to stoke the blanket next to you. Maybe it was a rug. It was soft. You fought the urge to doze off.
“Gorou, you haven’t spoken in a while.” Kokomi noted. It was true, he had stayed silent for an uncharacteristically long time.
He sat straight as a pin, his eyes fixed on the table. “I-I guess so.”
“Are you nervous?” You asked, too tired to watch your words. “You look nervous.”
“Well..” He coughed. “You are petting my tail right now.”
Your eyes widened as you looked down at the softness by your hand. He was right. Your hand was on his tail. You quickly snatched it away as you felt heat rush to your cheeks. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to. I swear, I thought it was a blanket or something.”
He blushed. "No, it's fine."
"I thought you didn't like when people touched your tail."
"Well no… I mean usually but… this is a different situation." He said as confidently as he could.
You nodded pretending to understand. "Can I pet your ears then? They look soft." He was silent a moment too long and you opened your mouth to try to take back your words.
"Yes." He didn't look at you. He just leaned towards you slightly. You reached out and gingerly stroked his ear.
"...soft." You mumbled under your breath. You had forgotten how sensitive his ears were. He must have heard you as his cheeks started to turn pink. You heard a giggle to your right. Kazuha had heard as well.
The conversation continued. Kokomi put a hand to her chin. "Gorou and I could take you back to Watatsumi island. The shrine maidens would be honored to take care of you."
You shook your head. "That would risk war. Your island is already in a precarious situation I-" You paused, fiddling with the sleeve of your kimono. "I couldn't put your people through that again. It would be-"
A cup of tea fell to the floor with a clatter as Gorou jumped to his feet, one hand on his bow the other reaching to his quiver. "Someone is outside."
The fear was back with a vengeance. Your heart beat at your ribs, desperate to escape. You felt a hand on your shoulder. Kazuha. You could feel his breath on your ear. "I will stay by your side, your holiness." A light breeze brushed your face. You nodded, shuffling closer.
You looked over to Ayato. His face was a mask as he directed Gorou and Beidou to follow him. You shivered at his coldness. It wasn't out of character, but you had gotten used to the awkward kindness he showed you. To see him like this was - unsettling.
They slipped out of the room. For a few seconds, there was complete silence. Silence that allowed your mind to run. It was interrupted by a loud thud and a scream. It was quickly cut off. There were four sets of footsteps when they came back.
Ayato dragged in a woman. Her nose was bleeding and her uniform was ripped but you recognized her. Chiyo. Ayato shoved her to the ground. There was something unsettling about the way he stood there. Silent, like still water, an ocean with no wind.
You didn't bother to put on your mask. She had seen anything there was to see. It only took a few steps to reach her, but the whole time your body was screaming at you to do something. To hit her, to run, anything. You resisted the urge and crouched down to her level. There was a hatred in her eyes you couldn't understand, so deep it threatened to drag you under as well. "Why were you watching us?" You asked, surprised by the strength in your voice.
"How dare you." She growled. "You come here with no qualifications, no references, nothing, and you get a job here. You do nothing all day and you still get treated like royalty. The Lord treats you like you hung the stars in the sky." She spit at you.
"There are circumstances you don't understand." I argued.
She leaned in, and smiled. A smile so full of hatred it sickened you. "You have the face of a god. Lord Kamisato must like it."
"Like what?"
You could feel her breath on your face as she got even closer. "He must love having someone like you in his bed."
You startled and pulled away, the heat rushing to your cheeks. You weren't sure how to respond. You glanced at Ayato.
His jaw clenched and he grabbed the woman by her collar. "Do not speak of them that way."  He looked up at you. "I will bring her to the interrogation room. Will you be alright without me?"
You nodded.
Ayato left with the woman and you were alone with the guests. You felt someone tug at your hand. You turned to see Kazuha.
"You should rest."
I laughed. “And how would I do that?”
He pulled his scarf from his neck and folded it before placing it in his lap. He gestured at the make-shift pillow. “Rest your head.”
Beidou laughed behind you. “What a gentleman!”
Kazuha smiled politely at the comment. “Only if you are comfortable, of course.”
You nodded before lowering your head onto the pillow.
By the time Ayato returned you had fallen asleep. He was grateful for it. You had not slept well before the meeting and you needed your rest. There was a second, more selfish reason. He hadn’t fully gotten the blood out from under his fingernail. He couldn’t stand to show himself like that in front of you. So impure.

My team is just all of my mains; Kazuha, Alhaitham, Shenhe, Zhongli. They’re all spoiled and have 5 star weapons, Zhongli is extra spoiled and is c4. (Kazuha has Ayato’s signature, Alhaitham has his signature, Shenhe has Calamity Queller, Zhongli has Staff of Homa)
Hope that’s enough! <3
TEAM COMP: KAZUHA, ALHAITHAM, SHENHE, ZHONGLI
Tumblr media
♥ Your team is proud to be your main and is thankful that you work so hard for them to be this strong. All four of them work tirelessly to become stronger and hit numbers that are sure to impress you. But with that being said there is an unsaid competition going around your group. With them being so spoiled, they should've been satisfied. Sadly, most of them are greedy for your attention.
♥ Al-Haitham is one of the characters who want your attention. It's nothing too much, he prefers to just be in your presence and read a book with you. No words need to be said between the two of you. Sadly, with the screen between both of your worlds, some things cannot happen. So he'll stick to you listening to his voice lines. He's indifferent to his teammates, he doesn't talk to them much but he's willing to lend them a hand if needed. But since they are stacked and all of them are skilled fighters, he doesn't see the need to assist them.
♥ Shenhe is just as, if not, more uncaring of her teammates than Al-Haitham. In her head, they are only tools for you to use to progress more in the game that is their world, there is no need to make connections with them. She is a good team player though, but it's only for your sake, not theirs. If something happened to them off-screen she wouldn't help them. She's probably the most violent out of all four of them, her red strings have gotten a little lost ever since she got self-aware, so the moment one of her teammates does something she thinks is going to inconvenience you she will point the Calamity Queller on their neck.
♥ Zhongli is the pillar of the team and is probably the most envied team member out of all four. Knowing he came home to you 5 times can bring a tinge of jealousy to any character's heart. It brings him so much joy that you work so hard on all of them....especially him. You can't blame him for being a little bit smug, you paid so much attention to him and it gets on his head for a bit. But he's professional, so he doesn't actively point out to his team that he's probably the favorite. Though it doesn't need to be pointed out since everyone can tell.
♥ Kazuha is very well aware of how dysfunctional his team is, the wind told him itself. But he doesn't focus on them, he focuses on the fact that you chose him of all the other Anemo users to be your main. It pulls on his heartstrings, and he becomes more enamored by you. But...he does question why you decided to main the others as well. The wind knows a lot of things, and he is lucky enough to be able to understand them. It tells him to be cautious of the Wangsheng funeral worker, to be alert when around the Adepti's disciple, and keep his distance when around Sumeru's acting grand sage. While he is willing to work along side them, he doesn't trust them. Not one bit.
♥ Your team works relatively well together since most understand that it is necessary if they want to remain as your main team. But you can't deny the thick tension that is around them. Nobody trusts one another and always has their guard up. But this is one of the better teams, at least they aren't actively trying to murder each other. Zhongli mentors the team from time to time and it interests Al-Haitham to ask for his advice. Kazuha teaches Shenhe about basic human emotions since her own seem to be everywhere. She wants to manage her own emotions so that one day if she does meet you she will not scare you away.
♥ But the moment one of them crosses an invisible line, somebody is going to get stabbed in the jugular.

Imagine getting Isekaid into genshin. Getting called a god and being worshiped.
But you didn't care, why should you? The only thing that you cared about was finally meeting your favorite character in person
It was a dream come true! Maybe if things went well between you two you could even date them!
Until it wasn't.
Finding out that they had an S/o truly made your heart break. Watching them be so lovey dovey infront of you made you sad and envious.
You wanted to hate their S/o but you just couldn't, they were so sweet and naive, acting as if you are their parent. Telling you about all of their problems and trusting you nonetheless.
You wanted to get rid of them but you couldn't, not when Your favorite was having so much fun with them, smiling and holding hands while they bowed down to you.
Always smiling when they see you, running towards you and hugging you.
It felt like being in a Drama, having the role of the evil bratty antagonist that wanted to get with the protagonist's lover.
And you knew what happened to the villains when they tried, so you stepped down. For now.

Genshin SAGAU x reader part 3
Part 4
You know, when people degrade themselves, saying horrible things about themselves.
So you made a rule that when you hear EVEN ONE thing that includes something that degrades themselves, they will be punished personally by you.
It involves lipstick💄 so if you don't like wearing lipstick and being a ✨️bAdDiE✨️ then this ain't for you.

Kazuha
Tumblr media
(The picture is from franque ☁️ from Twitter I think. Also, the reason why I didn't tell you the owners of the other pictures is that I searched them up on Google and forgot to get the name or I didn't see it.)
You were on a cliff, enjoying the breeze that softly passes through you. Waiting for the ship to come to Liyue. After for few hours, you saw the ship coming to land. You went there, excited to see your favorite person. Kazhua!
"Hey, Beidou. I was wondering, where is Kazhua?", "Oh. He just got off a ship, he said he wanted to be alone. I'm sure he isn't that far."
.
.
.
You were behind a tree, stalking- I mean watching Kazhua since you didn't wanna disturb him. You heard a faint....sob? Why? You saw him in tears, saying apologies, mourning Tomo's death. Blaming himself for not stopping him.
You knew that if Tomo was alive, he wouldn't want him to keep being sad and mourning over his death. So you decided to reveal yourself.
"*hick-* I- your Grace? I'm sorry, I must look like a mess! Please wait a moment, I will-" he was panicking, trying to wipe his tears away, and stop his crying. He froze. He felt a familiar warmth, hugging him, and softly stroking his hair. He shattered into tears, sobbing onto you. Crying, and crying, hugging you tighter, like you would leave his grasp.
. . .
Ah...he fell asleep. You decided to let him sleep. he snuggles closer, and you cradled him. Letting him bathe in your warmth. Well, the next day he apologized, asking if he could do anything for you to forgive him.
You grabbed the lipstick (I do not care where the heck you grab it from, heck. You can even grab it from *Raiden shogun's famous scene)
He saw your lipstick and he felt danger, he tried to scoot back but got cornered to a wall. "HAHAHA, you can't get away now can you~ it's time." You smiled so evilly. You kissed him all over his face, and he blushed softly looking away.
Well, you might think. "Oh, everyone is gonna ask him. 'Why is there a smudge on your face?'" But everyone knows. (At least Beidou's crew) Beidou is teasing him every moment she gets, trying to hold back a laugh...."BAHAAHAHAH-" she failed miserably.
*bonus*
He secretly made a writing/poem about the moment, and if you find out. He'll just act innocent and doesn't know what is going on.

SAGAU: Meeting Kazuha
summary: You started playing after Kazuha's release and have been waiting almost a year for his rerun (based on a true story lmao)
spoiler warning: inazuma archon quest spoilers
content warning: not exactly a cult AU but close enough. Chosen Traveler is Aether.
notes: I intend to eventually do one of these introspectives for each of my main team (and other characters, as applicable), but... Kazuha's banner is coming out in a few hours, so I had to write this quickly before summoning.
May all Kazuha wanters become Kazuha havers!
“You two give off not only the essence of wind and earth, but also of… yes… the stars…”
The first time Kazuha felt your presence was when he met the Traveler and Paimon. He assumed the little flying child was somehow projecting her emotions to others. He expected Captain Beidou would be the one to ask. Beidou was outspoken and blunt, but that served her well as the captain of her crew. While they hadn't known each other for very long, Kazuha could already tell when she was about to say something, and refrained from making his own comments as he waited for her to speak up.
The feeling that she was ‘about to say something’ persisted up until the Traveler and Paimon left to prepare for the Crux Clash, when she finally let it out in a rush.
"Did you feel that? That weird sorta energy around those two."
"I did. It seemed to ebb and flow with the little flying one's emotions."
"You know, I tried to ask about it? But I couldn't say the words."
"Truly?" Kazuha hummed in thought. "And yet we are having no trouble discussing it now."
"Yeah. I don't like this. Why couldn't I say anything? Do you think there’s some weird magic around them? This could be bad," Beidou said. "I'm gonna ask the crew if they felt anything."
"It certainly could be," Kazuha agreed mildly as Beidou descended to the lower deck, choosing not to voice his own suspicions just yet. But when he pulled the Traveler aside to have a word with him before the final match, he found quite quickly that he disagreed with Beidou.
The more he spoke with the Traveler and Paimon, the more Kazuha felt that the presence was neither of theirs. It reacted pleasantly and kindly to his words.
"...And, not to mention your incredibly complex scent. Like that of some mysterious being," Kazuha said. He tried to elaborate - Like the mist that rises off hot pavement in the first flash of summer rains - but couldn't. He frowned, struggling with his own words internally, before he gave up and continued on. The words felt right, but he hadn’t been able to voice them. Just like Beidou.
Later that evening, something about the aura encouraged him to share his story - or maybe it was just the delayed result of Beidou pushing him to talk about his pain with others. As he spoke of Tomo's fate, keeping his voice deliberately light… he became certain that the presence was a third, separate entity. Paimon was saddened and the Traveler's expression displayed grief - but he seemed unsurprised, as if loss were an old, familiar friend and he had known what was coming the moment Kazuha began speaking.
The presence he felt hovering around them was both sad and angry. Angry on his behalf, much like Beidou had been when she took him onboard. He could feel its desire to wrap around and protect him… but it didn't. And as he felt it leave sadly with the Traveler that evening… he wondered if maybe it couldn't.
-------------
The Traveler, as it turned out, was not unaware of the presence hovering around him and his friend, because he re-introduced himself as Aether during the voyage to Inazuma.
"I saw you both struggling to say something earlier. I'm sorry I couldn't explain things then. I have someone guiding me who we can't talk about. But they've been helping me for months now - well, all of us," Aether said, gesturing at the companions he'd brought on-board.
"Uh… huh." Beidou was unimpressed. And rightly so, since she had been intending to smuggle one person across and ended up with four. "You know Thoma isn't expecting these extra people, right?" she asked.
"It'll be fine. I think? Whoever's helping us out seems to be able to hide extra people when they need to,” Aether said.
"So those emotions we felt when you were around were theirs? How does that work?" Beidou asks. Paimon made a very unimpressed looking shrug to mirror Aether’s.
"We're not sure," Aether said. "They only seem to be able to directly interact with certain vision users, but apparently everyone can feel them around. It's just, people with visions can feel them the clearest."
"You introduced yourself as [username], and yet you now say your name is Aether. Is that their name?" Kazuha asks.
"As far as we can tell," Aether says.
As they continued explaining the situation, with Paimon remaining suspiciously silent, Kazuha was glad to get the chance to talk to Aether on his own. But he also found that he missed that summer-scented mist, just a little.
------------
Kazuha felt the presence watching over him a few more times in Inazuma after that, always in association with Aether. He felt its - their - utter joy at seeing him again when the Crux crew joined the battle at Nazuchi Beach, their enthusiasm almost matching Gorou's. Aether lingered to speak with him and Beidou after the skirmish, grinning sheepishly as the conversation stretched on.
He felt them most strongly during the assault on Tenshukaku, their fear turning to such a fierce, victorious pride as he saves Aether that it left him shaking just as much as the Shogun's return strike did. Then the presence disappeared into the void with Aether, and did not come back out.
He felt them briefly as he visited Tomo's grave after all was said and done, and found he was grateful to know they were still alive. Having someone to witness his prayers at his friend's resting place - even an unknown, mysterious, otherworldly aura - helped ease his heart.
-----------
Kazuha did not feel them again until he decided on a whim to answer a commission in Liyue,  three months later. They were subtly in the background as he accepted Aether's invitation to team up, and he was disappointed when he thought that would be all he'd feel of them this time. But Aether gave him a thumbs up and a wink and warned him to brace himself.
As soon as the party entered the domain, Kazuha felt their presence sweep over him. It was so much stronger than ever before that he had to stop and take a moment to breathe, though both the presence and his three companions seemed content to wait for him.
He felt the presence - felt you examining him joyfully. He got the sense that you were peering at him from every angle, and then your attention turned inward to the artifacts he'd chosen to take with him for this fight. You express vague interest and approval - had he chosen well? They were the best he had for that set - and then you were guiding the four of them forward to experience combat at your hands.
It was different from normal combat. Alien. Kazuha found that your presence came and went in flashes, directing him to use certain skills and then flitting away to one of the others. He dodged strikes he couldn't see or hear properly through the echoing fog of the domain, kept safe from blows that might have felled him by a third eye from above. But he was also hit by other attacks he could clearly see approaching in slow motion, also found himself unwilling to use Chihayaburu when he normally would.
He sensed your frustration and shame whenever this happened, and he wondered whether you were learning this as you went, too.
------------
Now, seven months later, he’s met you personally, face-fo-face. Your guidance of him as a “trial character” through two more events improved greatly since your first fumbling attempts to understand his “playstyle”, and he feels - perhaps arrogantly - that the two of you work well together. You had stuttered out something similar when you first asked for his consent to be “summoned” and used as your vessel all those months ago, and Kazuha smiles now as he recalls it.
Beidou joins him at the railing as he watches the approaching islands of the Golden Apple Archipelago and slings an arm around his shoulders companionably.
“Ya ready, kid?” she asks. “Last chance to back out. I’m sure [Y/N] wouldn’t mind.”
Beidou has been one of your vessels for a long time as well, and though she’s not the most often chosen, Kazuha has heard nothing but good from her about the experience. So he takes her words as teasing.
“I find I must disagree. [Y/N] has been quite enthusiastic about my ‘return’ these past weeks,” Kazuha says with a smile. He knows from Beidou that you’ve had the necessary materials to empower him saved for quite some time, and while you apparently aren’t yet happy with the Viridescent Venerer’s artifact set you plan to gift to him, Kazuha is certain it will be worlds better than what he was able to collect on his own.
“I haven’t the heart to disappoint. Besides, I have no other obligations. I merely wish to wander and experience the world. I can think of no better way to spend my time than to explore this world alongside someone who so clearly cares for me.”
Beidou ruffles his hair and he ducks out of her hold. “Sap. Alright, well, we’re almost there! Fix your hair before you meet [Y/N]. Can’t have you looking like you just rolled outta bed!”
Kazuha grumbles and redoes his ponytail, which Beidou was the one to ruin in the first place - but finds that he can’t maintain even a fake frown for long. He’s excited to feel your presence in his life permanently. And as he prepares to step ashore and surprise you before you “wish” for him, he hopes you are too.

Genshin sagau imposter au
They/them pronouns used
Not proof read yet 😐
Tumblr media
The creators return to teyvat was a great one, clouds had parted for the dearest creator, but unbeknownst to them there were two, one was the true creator one that would make teyvat flourish under their care, one that harbours the golden blood said to glow even in the darkest of night. And the other, possibly a god in another universe but in this world they would only bring despair.
You and your twin don’t have the best relationship, yes you two argued like siblings but it was more extreme way more extreme. The last straw was when you had come home from one of the most tiring day work piled up on your desk with no clear end, wanting to do nothing but log onto Genshin do some commissions and admire your beloved characters. But your tranquility was interrupted by your “dearest” twin, barging into your safe space spewing profanities and accusations of something you don’t even remember doing. They made their way towards you grabbing your phone, in return you try to rip it back resulting a tug of war with your phone as the prize, in a last resort you kicked the other, both of you falling backwards, but instead of falling into the plush bed you fell into damp grass, your twin not to far in front of you.
From that point on your world started to fall apart by the seams. You both immediately recognize the world of teyvat, while you were in shock your twin ran while you stay there stunned. Then the next thing you know your being chased guards claiming you to be an imposter, and your twin leading the horde.
Days of running with no rest took a toll on your body, confusion and rage still plaguing your mind. At some point you had found out along the way that you were the real creator hard to swallow huh? The day you had been backed off a cliff in liyue was the day teyvat had brought fourth a plethora of vines carrying you away from the millelith, brining you herbs to help with your wounds leaking gold. This was the day you snapped.
You wanted revenge— you wanted to see them drown in their own blood.
Not even your most favourite characters would’ve recognized you, fury bubbled inside, all those hours of farming and praying for the best materials for your favourites and yet now that you have descended, they couldn’t even tell the difference between an imposter sitting on the throne while teyvat withers and you the divine creator that teyvat would so desperately try to protect. You’ll use this protection to its fullest you’d use anything at your disposal to see your twin tremble under your power.
-
Days- weeks, months? You had no idea how long it was since you were brought to this wretched world. Your days now filled with a constant game of cat and mouse along with lots training. You had no time to sit idly, the days where you would login and gush over your favourites were over and soon you’ll be seeing those people fall to their knees begging for forgiveness.
You wouldn’t give it to them. Never.
The day was here, the creators birthday, your birthday. You stepped foot back to the place you first descended where your twin would be sitting leisurely, on your throne being worshiped with the strongest at their beck and call. Passing the front gates many smaller worshipers stood ready to defend their creator, they yelled, cursed at you
“stand back imposter!”
“How dare you step foot in this sacred area!”
“You dare show up after stealing our creators face!?”
The crude comments never stopped, but that wouldn’t stop you beating every man and woman down getting closer to the heart of it all where the most recognizable people and your so called favourites stand near your twins throne along with many others you once admired.
“One more step and well blast you head off”
God, you getting tired of these meaningless insults, your head tips to the side in a bored response to the threats they hollered at you. Your eye twitched before you stomp closer, voice emitting nothing but power over them.
“Enough of your chattering, kneel before me or fall by hands.”
Clattering and gasping erupted while you walked passed the kneeling acolytes. Oh how you smiled at them with such malice, eyes crinkled. This is what you wanted to see, the fear in their eyes while you make your way up to your sibling. You stand over their cowering figure, grinning
“ w-what are you doing here? Do you know what I’ll do to you?” Your smile widens “what you can do is nothing oh dear creator” your sibling gasps before shoving you back a step they stumble away from you “i AM the creator and teyvat obeys ME I can easily kill you” they said
At this point you’ve had enough, you didn’t want to wait anymore “you the creator huh, their creator,” you run your hand over the blade smearing the golden blood on your sisters shirt. “but I am teyvats creator and teyvat will never obey an imposter like you” you throw your sister off the pedestal where the throne resides before sitting down yourself. This is what you wanted— what your months of training, months of agony was for and now, here you are watching as “your” acolytes beg for forgiveness fear and guilt in their eyes, and yet you only laugh.
“You never showed me any mercy no matter how much I begged..”
“So why should I?”
I decided to add a little something else to lovelyries idea I hope that’s ok. Please let me know if you want me to take this down.
But I’d imagine that every person who plays genshin has their own world that would call them creator hence why I said “possibly a god in another universe”
Also since the playable characters already accepted the imposter as their creator I continued to bring that up as reader has also accepted that these weren’t their worshipers anymore but people who tortured reader. Teyvat on the other hand had knows who the real creator was and protected them.

btw, i love this idea!!
Sweet Scents on the Welcoming Wind
I'm so glad! I thought it was a pretty fun idea :)
Kazuha wasn't quite sure what to expect from today. A sweet and delicate scent greeted him this morning. Nothing at all like the typical scent of the ocean. It was unlike anything he had smelled before. It was almost overwhelming, though not sickly sweet like rot. It was incredibly pleasant, and almost lulled him back into a gentle doze. Were Kazuha less aware, he may even have started humming a little tune his father hummed to him frequently as a child. He smiled fondly at the memory, playfully thanking the scent for digging it up
Not one to be weary of something so promising, Kazuha spent quite a lot of time drafting poems. Many of them brought him satisfaction in their completion, but somehow something was missing. Though he counted this as very fortunate and productive, Kazuha didn't feel like he had completed his tasks for the day. Perhaps something in the Harbor would bring him what he sought. As the Alcor came to dock, Kazuha was unusually antsy to get onto solid ground. Quickly leaving the ship to it's crew, Kazuha promised to return swiftly, though he felt that promise might be empty.
Looking for nothing in particular was an easy task in Liyue. Endless shops, carts, and stalls provided endless enrichment for a casual stroll. Kazuha saw several items that caught his eye for one reason or another. A robe marbled in different colors, each one complementing the others perfectly and accented with a metallic thread closing all the seams. Kazuha bought it, though it was the last the merchant had and it wasn't quite his size. A goblet decorated with gems that peaked through the metal just enough to be seen, but not to be too flashy. That too, Kazuha felt oddly compelled to buy. And the final thing, well it just made him smile.
A plush rabbit holding a flower. The embroidered pink nose was boopable and the fur was soft to the touch. Kazuha understood why anyone would want to buy those. He was no exception, he held the toy close to him. It was oddly comforting
In his ambling, Kazuha caught onto a clearer trail of the scent. Coming from somewhere deeper into the lands of Liyue. A little more towards the Chasm. And with that, a gnawing feeling in his chest spurred him forward. With the patience of a saint, Kazuha returned to tell Beidou where he was going.
"Something's been eating at you all day, huh Kazuha?" Beidou asked him, not bothering to question why he had decided to buy such odd things.
"I'm not sure what I'll find there, but somehow I think it can only be beneficial." Kazuha didn't quite have the words to describe the feeling. Somewhere between fear and longing. He left the goblet with her, but decided to carry the robe and plush with him. Kazuha couldn't explain why, however.
His journey brought him eventually to a beautiful tree. Late afternoon sun drifting through the leaves and a few flowers thriving the the partial shade just underneath. The perfect place for some meditation, and then perhaps a nap.
Kazuha was weighing the pros and cons of taking a nap so late in the day when suddenly the scent he had been chasing became even stronger. Whatever was giving off that smell had to be nearby.
Padding forward carefully, Kazuha inspected the area around the tree. None of those flowers seemed to be wafting the aroma... No, not the tree either.
Perhaps not the tree itself, but something within quivered and Kazuha craned his neck to try and get a glimpse.
"H-hello?"
The voice was sweet, oddly familiar, and like music to the ronin's ear. Kazuha leaned from side to side to try and see who was speaking.
"Hello," Kazuha started gently, not wanting to startle them. "I am Kaedehara Kazuha, I mean no harm."
Kazuha circled the tree slowly as he spoke, it was a bit too tall for him to really want to climb, but if this person needed help he would gladly do so.
"Are you stuck? I can help you down if you would like." Kazuha offered.
"Ah... Yes please..." The voice trailed of, Kazuha smiled somewhat. They sounded embarrassed. They must have climbed up and become too frightened to climb back down.
With a little effort, and help from his vision, Kazuha swooped up towards the higher branches, grabbing ahold and pulling himself in, ready to greet the stranded person with understanding...
But when faced not with an average person, but The Divine Creator.... Well it wasn't an everyday occurrence.
"Y-your Grace?" Kazuha did not often stutter, but then again he wasn't often this stunned.
Your perfect form sat in a tree, among the leaves you were shaded from the afternoon heat. Your clothes were odd, but undoubtedly the vestments of a divine being. You seemed embarrassed to be stuck in a tree, though Kazuha wondered how much of that was an act. This must have just been a test of his character.
"You have finally descended! Your Grace, it is an honor to finally meet you."
Kazuha had not been one of the allogenes blessed with your presence before, but he realizes now that your scent had been radiating from the Traveler when he had first met them. Though not as powerful as it was now.
You gave Kazuha a lopsided smile and greeted him warmly.
"Uhm... Before we unpack all of that you just said..."
"..."
"..."
"Can you please get me down?
(definitely going to write a part two for this later!)

Note
I usually switch characters around since I like to play everyone I have but the team I play the most is Traveler(Aether), Chongyun, Kazuha and Bennett. I love them all
Tumblr media
Note: Yes, they are all good boys!
Team Comp: Aether, Chongyun, Kazuha, Bennett
Team Comps Request list: Status: Closed
They all want your attention, give it to them! With puppy dogs eyes they would band together to beg you to stay with them a little longer using their sad lines to guilt-trip you and when they could see that you were about to leave you will hear them suddenly make the hurt sound as if they have been hurt by something. Please please don't go! They want to be with you a little longer!
When you join the game the first thing you would see is one of them surrounded by flowers when you didn't place them there. They cant give you a bouquet so they would have to make do with this, Aether would be around Windwheel Aster and Bennett too, while when it is Chongyun’s turn you will be around flowers that belonged to Liyue and Inazuma for Kazuha. They take turns getting you really, it's cute while a bit strange for you sometimes.
They work hard together to please when you fight, trying their very best. They adore you and knowing that you adore them just as much just makes them so happy. Chongyun had to be careful so that he won't faint when he was like this, Bennett also need to be careful when he skips in joys in case he might trip and fall. Really they are just super happy that sometimes they just don't know what to do with themselves.
Kazuha and Aether's smug smiles towards other characters that you have would make you laugh, yet worry a bit when you saw the death glares others are giving to the boys.
