I struggle with drawing, I can't seem to visualize what I want to make, and I can never seem to flow with it like other people can.
I still like it!! It's very fun whenever I do draw! I mainly draw my persona, because that's easy for me. My little frog is something that I have quite a lot of fun drawing! I do feel a bit bad I can't seem to get anything else super well, but I also haven't been practicing.
Anyway, this was a very long winded way to say I did a draw!!
Tumblr media
I was in the mood to just doodle, but I didn't know what to draw! So I turned to my frog and my interests as of late! I've been wickedly addicted to space for the past few weeks! I downloaded 16 astronaut skins on Minecraft and just gave them all different names and personalities. And I've been staring at my little alien project.
Blah blah space infodump, blah blah deep meaningful drawing meaning, blah blah bedtime. Hehehe!!
Edit with the version I like more:

If I don't get more Penguin and Shachi characterisation in OP, than just "they love ladies, they're childhood friends, they were bullies in their childhood, both are good swimmers, and Shachi apparently can spit so hard it may feel like a bullet", then I do my personal hc about their personality based on the orcas and penguins.
Shachi
•Shachi is the third strongest member of Heart Pirates (Law is on the first place and Bepo's on the second)
•Shachi adapts to the weather and a temperature really quick. Even tho he's from North Blue - the coldest sea in the world, he's dealing with hot islands like a champion.
•Shachi is a social butterfly. He finds friends anywhere anytime. He's a man who knows a guy who knows another guy who is also know a guy. Want to gather information? Shachi will find it. Wanna form an alliance with the local gang? No prob, Shachi played poker with one guy!
•Shachi's favorite food is salmon.
•Shachi was raised in matriarchy. His mother was pretty dominant woman, and she was the only person he was afraid of during his bully childhood. He's still loves her, but feels really guilty and scared to come back. He followed Law to become more than a mommy's boy, but he just became captain's boy instead.
•Shachi has good metabolism and get really upset on an empty stomach. He's pretty much a cook on the ship so he's fine (he's good at it and gets mad when people dislike his food).
•Shachi's pretty smart. He knows math and physic. His favorite school subject was mathematics. He was visiting school only for math, and he would ran off when it's was over. He also knows how to hunt.
•His family was pretty big, so he often felt himself unseen and unimportant. Heart Pirates is like his family to him, but he actually feels himself like an important part of it.
•Shachi is a little shit. He usually do pranks and get punished quite a lot for this.
•He's actually really protective over his friends and he's not afraid to pick a fight if someone seems hostile towards them. He picks a lot of fights which he can't win, so he usually ends up in medbay.
•In the real world Shachi would be Norwegian
Penguin
•Unlike Shachi Penguin can't deal with hot weather. But he has a great tolerance to a cold winter islands during its winter season. One day he safed his crewmates, by giving them his warm clothes and carrying them to the town on his back.
•He can hold his breath to 20 minutes. That's terrifying, but really useful.
•He came from the big tribal commune, but decided to follow Law to explore the sea world.
•He's a fan of the sea and especially it's undersea life. He's a sucker for penguins and his favorite fish are squids
•If Shachi is momma's boy, Penguin is a mom friend. He usually babysits people around him and that's one of the reasons why Shachi is his friend. In his childhood many could say that he was too mature for his age, but he allowed himself to be just a kid around Shachi. He also likes kids company a lot, many could say he would be a great father.
•He has a good sense of smell, being able to feel the thinnest of smells people have. It sometimes messes with his sleep, because smells can be nauseating sometimes.
•If Penguin existed in the real world he would be from New Zealand.
•Penguin has a really high eyesight. Law runned some tests and found out that his senses are pretty sharp. Hearing, smelling, eyesight, touch, and taste. The main reason why test's were needed is because he often experienced nausea because everything was just to much. That's exactly why he wears his hat (it helps to protects his eyes and ears) and sometimes he plugs his nose to not smell things and he looks ridiculous like that.
•Penguin loves to sing
•Penguin is this type of guy, who shaves his hair by the mood
•His love language is gift giving
•Penguin doesn't like sweets
•Penguin is pretty loyal to his close ones. He will die for them and will remain silent under any torture. One day he was injured really bad because of his loyalty. Heart Pirates got a really bad trauma after that, and many of them still checks on Peng, because there should be something more than "It was bad! I was scared! But I held like a man! I've told them nothing, captain! And i'm not crying, it's just blood got in my eyes!".

hi, hello! Could I request a (romantic) Teru with a supernatural reader? Reader is a girl and has eaten the same thing that Nene did when turned into a fish (I don't know some specific English terms, sorry!).
But! Reader is in disguise as a student and is actually very smart and gentle with everyone.
Thanks if you'll do it 🥲💕 you already do sm work and I appreciate it!
!! : reader in this is a girl , but please see it as a boy or non binary person too if you'd like !! This turned out different from what i expected tbh , maybe i made Teru a little bit ooc -
" you aren't as bad as i thought ... "
Tumblr media
You were originally one of the fishes that served the Mermaid , when she gave you the task to wander around as a human to look for other students to turn into other fishes , that's when you met Teru Minamoto ; he wasn't really known where you lived but still , everyone knew he was an exorcist you needed to avoid if you wanted to survive. You still weren't accustomed to the daily life of humans , so it was a matter of time before the exorcist noticed you. You tried everything to get as many people as possible so that you could bring them to the Mermaid , but as days , weeks passed , you came to the conclusion that human life isn't all that bad.
Classes were over and your last friend left you to head back home , it was your turn today to clean the room ; you've always been a curious fish - or human , so experimenting new things has never been tiring for you , though its been long since you've last been a fish , and to tell the truth , the marine world was a bit missing. As you were cleaning the black board you hear some voices coming from the back of the class , you laid down the cloth and went to check , and to your surprise , a few fishes that served the Mermaid with you had come to visit you
"you guys ! What are you doing here ? " you said while crouching down " we could ask you the same thing [ name ] !! Its been weeks since our adored Mermaid sent you to bring some humans down with us and i see you cleaning a classroom !? " your smile dropped as your companion continued to scold you , when suddendly a strong light came towards you , barely giving you time to dodge it. Your eyes opened wide as you saw the exorcist Teru Minamoto to the other side of the class
" i knew there was something off about you , you follow the Mermaid so i don't think you'll last long against me , just surrender already please " his expression was terrifying , it seemed like he wanted to get rid of you without even listening to what you had to say " w- wait ! Please listen to me before exorcise me , im not a bad supernatural !! " as you said those words Teru had a flashback of his little brother saying the same thing , maybe it was that the motive he stopped to hear your complaints " well then speak now , before i regret my decision " you mentally cheared " as you said im not a dangerous supernatural , i don't have a weapon with me and i never hurted everybody , i just follow instructions that other people give me ! When days passed by and i got to know more of the human life i was enchanted by it ; i just wanna live a normal life !! " he started laughing while looking down " supernaturals ... living a normal life ? That's kind of funny if you think about it , delusional even ... you should know better than everyone that ghosts , sovrannatural creatures can't have a normal life " you looked down , trying not to despair yourself in front of the exorcist " though " he continued while putting his weapon down " i will give you a second chance " your eyes wandered to his own , looking at him in surprise " but remember , s misstep and i'll exorcise you instantly " and with that , he got out of the class..
the next weeks you always felt his eyes on you , everywhere you went he always followed you in some ways , it was scary and irritating ; everytime you tried to talk with a friend of yours he always had to take you away
" [ name ] .. are you and Minamoto senpai .... a couple ? " a friend asked you " WHAT !? No we aren't , why would you think that !? " " well you guys are always seen together and when someone tries to talk to you he always takes you away … is he maybe jealous ~ ? " your cheeks were on fire , you knew Teru was good looking and being around him was something special for everyone in the school , but it wasn’t like that between you two … " i swear we aren’t together , im just … helping him with something , yeah ! " you of course lied " if you say so … "
you and Teru were walking in the halls together " why are you still with me , classes are over and there’s no one now , im not gonna do anything " you said still thinking about what your friend last said to you " you mind that much ? Do you hate me that much [ name ] ? " you looked at him dumb folded ' you were the one trying to exocise me … ' you thought for yourself " about me following you .. i came to the conclusion that you don’t seem a bad supernatural , so im not going to exorcise you .. for now " " I HEARD THAT " ; so from that day on Teru stopped following you everywhere and left you alone for some time , though you had to admit you were feeling kinda lonely without him watching over you , you ' missed ' him , maybe you did have some feelings for him , an exorcist and a supernatural .. how ironic. " If you really miss him go and tell him ! " you confessed your emotions to your friend , and now she / he was giving you every advice they had in mind " if you wait too long for him to come back to you someone might beat you and be with him before you do and you ain’t risking that are you ? "
So here you are now , in front of the door of the students council room , re - thinking about your life decisions , what if he would just laugh at you or telling you to leave him alone before he would exorcise you ..? Before you could turn your back and leaving the door opened revealing the blonde exorcist " oh [ name ] what are you doing here ? " your hands started to sweat and you couldn’t look at him in the eyes " o- oh i uhm .. uhm i just wanted to say i - … " " wait , before you speak i have something to say .. " he let you in the room with him and closed the door ' thank god ' you felt more relieved letting him speak first " i guess you probably still see me as dangerous overall everything that happened , but i do really mean it when i say that i don’t see you as a danger to the students anymore , if you’re willing to be next to me , not as a treat but as a partner , i would be the happiest guy in the school " he admitted looking at you with eyes filled with .. adoration.
You don’t remember what exactly happened after that , maybe because you felt too overwhelmed by the new emotions you felt , what you do know is that now you and Teru still pass the time together , but not as an exorcist and a supernatural , but as a couple , and you feel like you wouldn’t trade this with anything in the world
The end is kinda lame but i feel so tired so that’s all , hope you liked it !!

that mermaid childe thing you reblogged totally put me onto sea monster dazai (imagine that dazai anon thinks about dazai call the news)... like imagine those giant empty eyes staring at you intently from underneath the still water. actually terrifying. hed probably be something fucked up looking too like a snake thing or an angler fish or something like that.... could also see him as a siren.... like ur too stubborn and well versed on the sea and its inhabitants to fall for his Beautiful Mermaid facade and hes initially got this horrible vendetta against you about it but eventually his obsession with getting you in the water with him Less so he can rip you apart and finally prove hes smarter than you and more so he can shove his weird fish tongue down ur throat i mean swim with you in a very well behaved fashion
ALSO adding an akutagawa thing cuz no one ever talks about my husband as often as they should. yan sea monster/mermaid akutagawa. he gets washed up on the beach, greviously injured, and despite the fact he keeps BITING AND SCRATCHING AND BEING SO MEAN 2 YOU you do your best to nurse him back to health in ur old pool u never use anymore (well, as healthy as aku Gets) until hes set to go back to the ocean. akutagawa has always known that humans are awful creatures who need to be killed before they kill him or his ilk, but maybe you're not so bad? first time for everything, he supposes. dont be shocked if you see some familiar scales glittering under the beach sun. or if people you know start washing up on the beach with a few less limbs than you remember them having. I was gonna immediately say aku is a shark but maybe octopus or squid would work cuz of how rashomon looks..... much to think about
- 🩹
you're so funny i can't breathe omg i too would like to swim with him in a well behaved fashion
cw: yandere characters, vague descriptions of sea creatures(?), mentions of cannibalism (well sea creature eats humans), obsessive behavior, non-con kissing, mentions of kidnapping and imprisonment, possessive behavior, jealousy, mentions of biting, scratching and self-inflicted wounds
siren dazai? no way sea monster dazai is the way to go! nothing about that guy looks safe but you know, he has a way with his words that you just can't help but think he's misunderstood and lonely. everyone thinks he's up to no good, but that's not the case at all! it's so unfortunate, you think, that dazai's being judged by the way he looks because he's really such a wonderful friend! what a shame that even the other sea creatures avoid him and his territory, of course it couldn't be because something was wrong with him. they were just being rude and outcasting him for something he couldn't control. you've spent enough time with him to know he was funny (in an odd way...it works on him, but if anyone else were to say his 'jokes' about eating you up and dragging you down to his cave and chaining you there, it would have terrified you. oh well, dazai's just never learned what jokes are supposed to be, so he just says the things people say about him. poor dazai, really) and he was really sweet, eager to help you with your troubles and offering his waters as a place for you to come to when you need to be alone and clear your head. not because he wants to be the only person you confide in and trust, definitely not!
and honestly, dazai was just bored. and what better way to spend the time than to trick some poor, unsuspecting human before making them his lunch? yum. sure, chuuya and a few select others were the only other mers that visited him, but that didn't mean he was lonely. he simply didn't care. of course, playing it up to you about how unfriendly everyone else was surely won over your sympathy, and it felt...sort of nice when you rubbed his cheek and looked at him with your sad eyes and told him you'd always be there for him. oh well, little human. he hopes you know he was going to hold you to that :)
his initial plan was just to earn your trust for a couple of days (because he knew how stupid and trusting humans were. terribly useless species, really. how did they survive for this long?) and then, under the pretense of an injury he couldn't reach, would coax you into getting into the water, where he could happily prepare you for a meal. but he began stalling, not wanting to eat you just yet. maybe you could entertain him a little while longer. playing with his food or whatever humans said. the more you talked to him and he learned about human relationships, the more curious he got. what did you mean, humans licked each other's mouths? how disgusting, he definitely wasn't interested in trying. what was so special about hand holding and cuddling and whatever the hell kissing was???? and why did he want to do it to you??? one day, he can't hold back his curiosity and drags you into the water off your boat, ignoring your screaming just to try and see if he "can shove his weird fish tongue down ur throat". and maybe more. obviously the talk about consent flew over his head, because what do you mean, you didn't want to do this with him? didn't you kiss people you like? and if you were coming to visit dazai this often, you definitely liked him right?
regardless, it wasn't anything he couldn't change with a little bit of time :)
akutagawa hm i think as much as i would love for him to be a sparkly shiny mermaid i think that role is more suited for chuuya aka the prettiest person EVER sorry anyway akutagawa octopus ver kinda reminds me of the kraken but shark akutagawa is also a wonderful picture i will figure that out eventually don't worry
so just another day of strolling on the beach admiring the sparkling water and woah what's that? a wild akutagawa has appeared! you find him beached and bleeding and you must obviously help him out! how could you leave him out there, alone and vulnerable? it's a little difficult to bring him to your conveniently close to the beach house, especially since he keeps growling and biting at your arms, but you finally make it and help him into the pool where he finally calms down enough for you to dress his wounds and give him something to eat.
and as much as he hates to admit it, he kind of likes it here with you. you're unexpectedly nice and not annoying or overbearing and your food tastes pretty good. sometimes, he's still waiting on you to ship him over to some evil merfolk killing people or a zoo or something terrible, or maybe you want to kill him yourself for his parts. but you don't do any of that. like you promised him, you bring him back to the ocean and wave him off.
except now, he really doesn't want to leave.
a week or so later, when you're back strolling by the shore, a familiar lump of something is waiting for you, wounded and stranded. you don't notice the way his eyes light up when he sees you, but you definitely notice that he wasn't biting you this time. sure, he has an iron-tight grip on you with his appendages, but maybe he was just scared? and the cycle continues. sometimes, you find fresh fish and seashells on the spot where you found him first, but most of the time, you find him, injured and waiting for your help. you don't suspect him of purposely hurting himself in order to see you and feel you nursing him back to health, but it does start to get a little suspicious. maybe he just got bullied a lot.
oddly enough, he's never friendly when you bring someone else with you. if by chance he's on the shore and you are with another person, akutagawa becomes hostile, growling and scratching at your companion until they run away and it's just him and you again. the way it should be :)

As you step outside of the elevator and onto the last floor of the HYBE building, you can’t help but wonder why you’re here. Over and over again. No cause why, how are you here?
You’re not working, as you usually do when you’re in this building (being a janitor and all), and you definitely feel like an impostor.
You feel a hand on your lower back, encouraging you to move, as you were very much standing still, eyes wide and heart racing like you’d just sprinted in the Olympics or something. Except you didn’t, you’re just a janitor, who’s very much smitten with the guy standing to your right, shooting you a dazzling bunny smile. Which is why you were here in the first place, J-Hope’s Jack In The Box pre-release party. As Jungkook’s date.
You have to force yourself really hard not to run back to the elevator and go home. This is embarrassing, cause who the fxck do you think you are?
“You okay?” a sweet, concerned voice asks you. You just stare into his big doe eyes. He looks a bit nervous. You probably look absolutely terrified, no wonder.
“It’ll be okay, I’m here alright?” He smiles.
“Let me introduce you to everyone”
Oh now you are SWEATING and you’re very thankful you didn’t forget to apply deodorant before you came here because, that would be your last straw. He tugs you by your waist and beckons you toward a group of guys who are laughing and chatting vigorously. Of course, you already know them, it’s his bandmates, the BTS boys. Yeah no, you can’t do this.
You stop in your track, and the beautiful black haired man stops and looks at you.
“Do you want us to go?” He brings a hand to his hair to try and comb it. He looks nervous. This is your fault, you never should’ve agreed. He stutters a bit “I-I.. I’m so sorry I should’ve stopped to think about how you felt coming here.. I’m sorry..”
You bring a hand to his cheek, caressing the soft skin. “It’s ok, I agreed Kookie. You couldn’t have known..” You stare into his eyes and smile warmly, trying real hard to show him you’re not mad. He leans into your touch, like a cute little bunny. You swoon, you’re down so bad.
“Wanna go eat something? We can grab a drink and si-“ A voice you recognize cuts him off. You step away from your date.
“Hey! I didn’t know you were working tonight, it’s good to see you!” It’s one of the events organizer, you’ve talked to him a few times while you were on lunch breaks, he’s nice.
“I’m glad I caught you, someone broke a glass and I’m kinda busy right now, could you go and clean it up?” He places a broom in your hand while you stare at him, motionless. “Thanks!” He goes off somewhere else, leaving you in shock.
Jungkook stares at the man, and then shifts his gaze to you.
“What the fuck” Is all he manages to say, while you stand there looking like a complete idiot. You both stay there, dumbfounded. I mean what did you both expect, you’re a janitor in this building, for fuck’s sake.
You see the Bangtan boys coming your way, and if a hole appeared beneath you right this instant, you would be immensely thankful. Hell you might start digging it right now, fuck wishful thinking.
“JAYKAYYYYY” You hear a high pitched voice saying, shaking you back to planet earth. You really wish you were a hallucination right about now.
The boys start swarming Jungkook while you stand there like a fucking inanimate object, broom still in your hand. Why couldn’t you be a rock, life would have been easier. You sigh.
They all turn to look at you and you think your soul might’ve left your body.
Hoseok is the first to speak.
“Hey y/n right? I’m glad you’re here, you’re working tonight?” He smiles, a bit confused.
Your mouth is agape, like a fish, a really awkward looking fish. Why. Can’t. You. Talk.
“Yeah so about that… I told you guys I was um, bringing a date right..” Jungkook says, rubbing the back of his neck. He gets closer and puts a hand on your waist. “Yeah, that’s her, my date”
You couldn’t be more rigid even if you wanted to, you might change into a stone statue, nothing is out of the question.
They all stare at you, very confused, and Namjoon’s gaze shift to the broom in your hand.
“Cool, why are you holding a broom then?…”
“I- uh…. someone thought I was working tonight, um..” Your cheeks heat up so much you feel light headed.
The man eyes you, and shoots a sympathetic look your way. He takes the broom from your hand and gives it to a worker who was passing by. “Let’s get you a drink yeah?”
His smile is radiant, dimples on full display.
Jungkook gazes at you, eyes big and hopeful.
You finally manage to talk, somewhat normally.
“Alright yeah, let’s do that”
Jungkook beams at you, bunny teeth showing.
And that smile, that wonderful smile.
It makes it all worth it.

Undyne sat down, panting. She had pushed her 10-year-old body to its absolute limits, but she wasn’t willing to admit it.
“Undyne,” said Asgore, “I think you should drink some water. It’s important to stay hydrated!”
“WHAT?!” Undyne popped to her feet, the mere mention of a break enough to get her going again. “Hydration is for NERDS! I have more important stuff to do!!! I have to fight BAD GUYS!!!”
“You won’t be fighting any bad guys till your a few years older, and the best way to prepare yourself is by developing good habits,” soothed Asgore, opening his pack and taking out a water bottle. “Besides, you’re a fish monster. Hydration is uniquely important to your body structure, more so than most monsters.”
“NO WAY!!” replied Undyne, sticking out her tongue a bit and starting to run laps again. “I can keep going!!! SEE?!!”
“Undyne,” called Asgore, still calm but sounding very concerned “you’ll be great when you grow up, you will, but you’ll never be able to fight bad guys if you wreck yourself from exhaustion!” He laughed a little, nervously.
Undyne felt herself slow down, her legs suddenly feeling like jelly. That’s funny, she thought. I don’t WANT to stop!
And then she toppled to the ground, overcome with exhaustion. The last thing she heard before blacking out was Asgore’s terrified scream of “UNDYNE!!”
When she woke up, she was soaked all over, wrapped in a towel, with Asgore dribbling water slowly down her throat. “Oh,” she said–or, said it as well as she could with a cup at her lips and water in her mouth.
Asgore gave a huge sigh of relief. “Thank goodness, Undyne. I was so worried!” There was an edge of irritation in his voice.
Undyne was both impressed and ashamed at having made the most patient monster in the Underground mat at her. “I’m sorry…” she muttered.
Asgore sighed again, this time sounding more relieved. “That’s all right, Undyne. Just take this as a lesson in hydration.”
Undyne looked around. She was in Asgore’s kitchen, sitting on a towel. Asgore stood up and walked over to the hissing teakettle. Undyne got to her feet and began drying off. My clothes are all wet…Hopefully I stay long enough to get a little dryer, so Ms. Millison doesn’t find out. And Gerson is going to be worried, then laugh his head off! She was already annoyed at him and he hadn’t even done it yet.
After drying off for a while, Asgore had poured two teacups. “Would you like a cup of tea, Chara?”
Undyne stared, blinking. “Ummm…do you mean Undyne?” She laughed. He had forgotten her name!
But for some reason, Asgore didn’t say a word.
“Uh, Mr. Asgore, is something wrong?” Was he mad at her?
“Everything quite all right,” replied Asgore suddenly, handing her a teacup. “Now let me try again: Would you like a cup of tea, Undyne dear?”
Undyne giggled. “Sure!” He looks lost in thought. She couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong.
...
The next day, Undyne was hanging out near Gerson’s shop again, trying to grow an echo flower in a pot. “Gerson, do you know who Chara is?”
She kind of popped the question out of nowhere. Gerson just stared for a moment, before laughing with the tiniest hint of bitterness. “Don’t think about it, kiddo.”
“But I wanna know!” Undyne stuck out her tongue. “Don’t make fun of me!!”
“If you meet the storytellers’ on one of your trips to New Home, I take it you’ll learn what monsterkind seems to have glossed over.”
“Is this some kind of weird conspiracy theory?!” demanded Undyne, annoyed. She was ten! She was not a child anymore!
“Just a conspiracy, child,” sighed Gerson, “Just a conspiracy. Learn to tell the difference, down here.”
Undyne…didn’t actually know what a conspiracy was. So whatever he had meant flew right over her.
...
One day Asgore had left a note explaining he was going to visit a friend’s family (someone named Rudy had fallen down) and she could feel free to just walk around and have a good time. A month or so had passed since the incident, and Undyne had mostly stopped thinking about it. But as she was exploring, she found a long staircase that led to a dark, gloomy-looking room with lots of long boxes.
On the lid of the first one, there was a red heart and a name engraved:
“Chara.”
Undyne stared, a strange feeling overtaking her. Something like…remorse? Like a crowd she had just been rioting with had done something truly horrible.
“Would you like to hear the story?”
Undyne turned around. Two Froggits were having some sort of grim tea party. Chills shook her. “Why are you here?”
“We are remembering the first fallen human,” replied the other Froggit. “Would you like to hear their story?”
HUMANS?! Undyne stared. “NO!” she yelled. “Humans are rotten! Why would I want to hear about someone like that?!”
The Froggits looked at each other, and the first one took a sip of tea. “Suit yourself.”
Undyne turned back to the box–a coffin, she now realized, knowing humans used those, and opened it, wondering what humans looked like.
What she saw made her let it fall, immediately. It was nothing. Nothing but mummy wrappings.
Undyne turned and stalked back up all of those stairs, with one resolution on her mind: She would never speak of this. She would never think of this, if she could help it.
But it crossed her mind frequently. She always tried to shove it back down. But it wasn’t easy when Asgore was slipping up her name so frequently. Calling her…
“Chara.”

the fact that greg's still willing to give love all the time even when he gets so rejected. always gives kind words, gives hugs. it's just like. yeah he can be a slimeball and a social climber but he's also, like, good? he'd be a friend that loves you. it's just, really nice? his instinct is to be loving and grateful and supportive. honestly people should be way more appreciative of him
SHAKES YOUR HAND VERY HARD!!!!!! it's actually so true. he can and yeah but like. i think a lot of people forget that greg is quite literally the only one in there with jack shit to fall back on? like. what would You do. their instinct might be to say, "oh i would never do that, i would never become what he did, i would never be a schmoozer like that, i'd never be selfish and be an asskisser and do whatever i could to survive when i know that my closer family barely give a fuck about me and wouldn't provide support when i need it" and it's like.

lmao. like if you were in that situation, are you sure? are you quite sure? anyway. yeah he still has love to give despite what has happened to him like he's still a pretty amicable guy despite that like, mostly he's pretty friendly and like if you know what to do with him [provide support, love, safety and comfort] he is literally yours forever. in s4 he was tom's supporter, defender and threw ppl under the bus in tom's name. the only reason he """"""betrayed"""""""" tom in the finale [which he didn't but that's a whole other kettle of fish] was because tom was withholding these things from him. he kind of... backslid a little. not terribly, certainly not to the same point as when they started out, but to the point of being kind of like, dismissive of greg, unappreciative, ignoring his opinions a little bit, and it felt like a kind of step back from their promise at the end of s3. i think greg expected to be more on equal ground [and in ssssome ways they were? but not to the level that greg wanted] and for tom to trust him more with information and like. let him in on the battle more? like. greg does like being taken care of it's true, but tom was trying to shoulder Everything alone and then ignoring anything greg did for him like following his request or protecting him or lightening his load. it was another romcom miscomm which is classic for them, which led to to greg's frustration and helped power his retaliation in the bathroom like, sure tom is mad at him but at the same time greg is a little affronted like, you completely ignored me trying to help you and then were flaky as fuck on where things were wrt me and my position and what was going to happen, what do you expect when i get scared and i feel like things are stirring? plus i'm literally doing what you taught me and praised me for?
ANYWAY lol sorry the point is, when greg goes behind people's back or whatever it's for survival/to protect himself. even when he did actually do something detrimental specifically to tom e.g. when he ratted to gerri he is quite literally terrified lmfao and is having all this shit like foisted upon him, i think he deserves a little like. slack? lol? like he didn't do it with cruel intent. ofc it was selfish but like. so is literally everybody else in the show???? it's the bad people show. surprise!!!! this doesn't negate his positive qualities yet people just won't afford him the same nuance as they give to literally everybody else.
SORRY DSJKSD this turned into a blorbo rant but basically, yeah. your ask; mwah! chefs kiss!

Heya so I made this crk au called “seas and skies” it’s about abalone and custard cookie (clotted cream cookies father) I just did some uno reversing and now abalone is a good guy and so is custard cookie- and the gem mermaids are mentioned but they won’t show up in this au-
Today I’m talking about abalone cookies perspective!
(He is 5)
A long long time ago, there lived a young little cookie named abalone cookie, he lived in poverty and his parents were dead so he only had his older sister to take care of him, they survived the harsh and miserable life, begging on the streets and finding food and shelter for the night, until one day he went to find food on his own, only to return to his sister hanging herself on the ceiling, abalone was devastated and decided to work harder and make his family proud, although one raining night, he was at the beach and found a sea shell, so he it picked up and suddenly the sea shell started to glow, and suddenly beams of white light started attaching itself onto abalone which terrified him, so he dropped the shell but it still started to attach itself on him, and then he was finally covered in light, once the light stopped shining he was relieved to see nothing happened to him, until he looked at his hands that is, his dough was covered in white and had blue scales on it, he realized he turned into some sort of sea creature, and was petrified, knowing the townspeople would likely hunt him down, or sell him in the black market, he decides to hide in the ocean, where no cookie can find him.
(Welp he is now 15)
It’s been 10 years after the incident, he learned he was a shell siren, (shell sirens are similar to gem mermaids except the shell sirens are NOT friendly towards normal cookies, and also they are made of shells not gems, they can also remove their fish tail and have normal cookie legs and can also get their fish tail back) he knows shell sirens are normally violent but he was different, he was kind, caring, and would never hit a cookie or an animal unless for self defense, he made an entire kingdom of his own and so far he was the only one that actually lives there, he also changed his name to white shell siren cookie.
One day he went and traveled a few miles away from his kingdom but then got trapped in a net, by pirates he was scared and begged to be released but the greedy pirates would not budge and placed him in a big fish tank, ashite shell siren cookie cried endlessly until he was told to shut up, he obeyed not wanting to be sold off early, and then a small little cookie came to him, the little cookie told white shell siren his name was crème fraîche cookie, and he felt bad for having his mom trap him in a fish tank to be sold off so the little cookie freed him by tricking the other pirates into saying the shell siren escaped into the ocean, which gave crème fraîche cookie the opportunity to drag the fish tank (the fish tank had tiny wheels) and pushed it into the ocean, white siren cookie felt thankful and promised to return the favor, but crème fraîche cookie said that white siren cookie didn’t need to return any favors, and they bid farewell to each other.
(He is 16 now lol)
1 year later, white shell siren cookie saw an attractive cookie sitting on a cloud, and wanted to talk to him, but he couldn’t so he stayed down in the ocean, but then when he went back up to see the attractive cookie, he saw that attractive cookie wave at him, so he waved back, and so for months they’ve always interacted with each other by waving and smiling at each other, until one day white shell siren cookie decided to talk to that cookie face to face, so he flew up to the sky with the support of the ocean spiraling around him, but then he started to freeze, white shell siren cookie went faster and faster, but he was now fully frozen.
Gonna talk about the attractive cookies perspective soon!

What really gets me is how well they developed Din as a sweet and likable guy while still making him a hardened warrior who doesn’t hesitate when it comes to killing. During the first episode when he appeared I actually felt a little bad for the fish guy and scared of Din, which is entirely the point cause thats how most of the outside world sees him, just a terrifying mandalorian bounty hunter, but then just as quickly we get to see the other sides of him when he insists on splitting the reward with Kuill for his help or showing genuine concern when Grogu passes out from using his powers. By the time we see characters like the mythrol or Mayfeld again, people he’s been in conflict with before and still have tense moments with, we’ve completely gotten to know him and his mix of being both firm and showing subtle acts of kindness come as no surprise. He’s such a good character!
Yes, you’re so right! This is exactly what they wanted and it played out perfectly. Din’s character has such a good duality that really works. I honestly still struggle to put it all into words, but you did such a good job with it!

Black stain with Supernova please?
I went a little far with this one, but I really like how it turned out! I think it's fun.
The word count is 916 words.
Supernova used to look at the black stain on his ribs often. He thought it was funny, what kinda person would just... press up against him? He figured that they most likely would be running and they would just bump into him on accident.
But then the accident happened, and Supernova couldn't see anymore. He tried to remember where the spots were, tried his best to remember exactly where the markings ended on his bones but... he forgot it sometimes.
The head damage caused by that stupid FISH Pisces made it so he couldn't see and sometimes he forgot things. He hated it. He hated it so much.
How the hell was he supposed to live without being able to see?
It took a while for him to get used to it, and to the hunting, but he grew different ways to figure out how to hunt and how to get food for himself and his brother... and he didn't regret a single thing that he did.
Sometimes you had to do things that you didn't want to do. That didn't mean that he was a bad guy, if anything, he thought that everyone else was.
The other monsters... they were a pain in the ass.
At least Supernova doesn't have to deal with them too often.
The ship that they lived in was huge and only Supernova and Sunspot stayed in it. Humans came into it often, whenever they crashed or wanted to explore. Humans were a little stupid with how curious they were. It often got them killed.
Supernova traveled through the vents, clicking with his teeth and he could hear their footsteps against the metal. He often caught them before too long... he would pull them up into the vents with him and their blood would drip down. Other times he would drop down and kill them down there.
The hallways were most likely covered in blood and whatever else humans had in their squishy bodies, but hey, oh well! Supernova couldn't see it.
He could hear it though.
Their screams, the way the blood fell to the floor... the gross squish sounds that his claws made whenever he cut through their bodies.
He remembered all of that.
The feeling was... strange.
They were all so warm against his ice cold body, and the splash of warmth when their blood splattered against him? It was kind of weirdly comforting. Like a blanket. But then it would start to dry and it felt gross.
He didn't want to do it, but he knew that he needed to. If they left then they wouldn't have any food but also they would most likely tell others what they saw and then more humans would come.
It sounds like a good thing, but if there are too many at once, it could be dangerous for them. He didn't want to deal with that kinda stuff.
But this time? It was different.
He could hear the person's footsteps across the metal, hear their shaky breaths in that strange outfit that they were wearing. They were talking, saying stuff into whatever they were recording with. That wasn't a good thing, was it? He climbs along the vent, listening to them talk. At least they had a nice voice...
It was calming and warm. Even if they sounded terrified. Their fear leaked into their voice like blood staining your clothing. Something that you couldn't stop once it started. Supernova wondered, what did they look like? Did they show their fear or were they trying to hide it? Nobody else was around, but some humans seemed to hate showing their fear. Sometimes they would try to attack him whenever he caught them.
They would claw at his bones, screech out threats that he knew that they couldn't do. Begging for their lives... It hurt his head sometimes if he had to be honest. He shakes his head to get his mind off that and noticed that the footsteps seemed to have stopped. He kept moving, his movements getting faster. He knew that they could hear it.
The human's footsteps started up again, but Supernova was faster and he drops down onto the floor. He felt their body clash against his own, and he reaches up grabbing their arms so they wouldn't be able to run, but he stops.
What was... what was that warm feeling spreading through his chest?
The human screamed and was struggling against his grip but he tightens it.
They didn't relax or anything, he could hear their breath going crazy and their heart was beating so fast.
"Y-You're... You're my soulmate?" they whisper out.
Oh.
Oh no.
He tilts his head one way, then the other, making those clicking sounds with his teeth again. That explained the warmth but... shit.
He taps his fingers against their arms, still holding onto them then he scoops them up off of the ground and starts to hurry through the hallways. He was able to hold them in one of his arms, scampering down the hallway quickly.
If they were his soulmate, then he needed to hide them. Nobody could see them, they needed to leave. They had to get out of here.
He felt guilty, he felt... selfish.
He should kill them, and get food for everyone. He shouldn't feel this stupid attachment already! Yet he... he couldn't stop it.
Didn't he deserve something?
He deserved to be happy for the first time in so long!
He deserved this.

today i am feeling pretty blackpilled. it's the first of the month...
i wanted to feel renewed, refreshed but instead I'm feeling pretty hopeless. i am having one of my many body dysmorphia outbursts. i saw this ugly picture of myself in bad lighting last night at a party and immediately began having negative thought loops and an anxiety attack. i know that sounds really silly to people who don't have issues like this but for me... this just made me feel defeated and hideous. i was already feeling down and ugly because no one talked to me at the bar or club last night again... people almost never approach me and my friends tell me it's because im "unapproachable" but sometimes i wonder if this is just cope not to hurt my feelings. what if the only time i look decent is when i am extremely curated but im actually ugly? i see all my flaws intensely and i often think im hideous or mid at best, no this isn't fishing for compliments either I've never been mentally sound with my appearance and spent too much of my life actually being a 4 to the point where i have permanent damage to my self image and general mental state.
i think the people around me irl are awful at dealing with and helping me with my mental health issues. this morning when i was seeking some kind of solid answer my friend just would silently nod or just say something like "don't seek approval from others". my mother and i got into an argument and she raised her voice at me calling me shallow and saying my primary focus is my appearance but she chooses to live in lala land and refuses to recognize that your appearance determines your entire quality of life, especially when you are as poor as me. i literally have no escape out of poverty besides my appearance because in reality I'm not that bright. my mom doesn't understand my mental health state despite having a psychology degree. she doesn't have pcos like me and never struggled with her weight as a young woman, always had tons of friends and boyfriends, was voted prom queen and even had a modeling contract. how could she ever possibly understand how i feel or relate to me? i have quite literally lived most of my life as a femcel. i can count on one hand how many friends i have even now and didn't even kiss a guy until i was over 20.
just last year i started to get sort of attractive by losing weight, changing my makeup and hair and finally felt a little comfortable putting myself out there but I'm still terrified. i still don't go out much and i feel like i repel people. I've built a wall to protect myself from being hurt again. i might be prettier than before but i still feel the same inside and I'm still socially inept, so i still don't attract people. i really need therapy but i cant afford it. i have been intensely struggling financially this year and i could barely scrounge up a dollar today to pay for my change difference at Starbucks because i desperately needed to get out of the house. i feel intensely upset about the fact that i thought i had found the perfect job to work from home just for the guy to scam me and never pay me even though i worked in bed editing a book for him while i was sick with COVID so i could get it in on time.
i was working my ass off expecting some compensation i desperately need. i feel at a dead end, I've been applying many places but my nail school schedule fucks me and it seems no one really wants to hire me. i can't go until the spring like this, I'm drowning in debt. i am also not looking forward to going back to nail school because i don't like the other girls and i had some issues and the vibe is dead, it won't be fun anymore, it won't be the same. i get upset thinking about it because i feel unwanted. i tried to talk to my friend about this too and she still gave me no reassurance, just the same generic responses. i don't feel relieved or comforted. i suppose i should stop dumping my feelings on my friends but i feel hopeless and really depressed. i don't want to do anything, right now i don't even want to exist.
i just want a decent job and a good man next to me and a home of my own and to get the fuck out of Detroit and to get the surgeries i want and to be thinner and prettier and i want a therapist

Bows ۰˚☽˚⁀➷。˚ Gwi Nam x Reader
Gwi Nam x Reader
warnings: wounds/cuts, and gwi nam ofc :)
Gwi Nam’s a bit of a softie in this one, since most of the fics I read abt him tend to make him a really smug asshole. (which he kinda is, lol)
Tumblr media
Y/N steadied herself against a table, taking a breather and clutching the stitch at her side. Damn, these zombies were fast.
She had been in the library, studying for a test when the outbreak started, a few zombies racing into the library, attacking anyone closest to them. The squelch of flesh being bitten into, and the screams of the terrified students engraved into her memory.
She had run, run all the way to a classroom that was the closest, and had no zombies in it. She didn’t know where she was right now. She didn’t care. The zombies that had been chasing her pressed themselves against the sliding windows, animalistic in their need to get to Y/N.
She stared at them, finding a few familiar faces in the crowd. A boy she sat with in her biology class, a girl she often said hi to when she walked down the halls. These people, she knew them before, to be living, sensible humans, but now they were mere shells of what they used to be. Human looking, be it a little deformed, but all animalistic instinct. All brutal cannibalistic monsters, without a shroud of humanity or sense left within them.
She only hoped that her friends, Cheong San, On-Jo and the others were safe.
She looked around the class, trying to find something to cover up the horrors that lurked outside the room, the only barrier between her and death mere sliding doors and windows. On the other side of the class were more windows, where zombies began noticing her and began pressing themselves against the glass.
Spotting posters and papers around the class, she looked through pencil cases, trying to find something that could be used to stick the papers on to the windows. She fished out a glue stick from one, and began her work. As she stuck them flat on the windows, she could feel them continuously bang harder and harder, and she feared the glass would fail on her and break, letting them in. She rushed to stick the last piece of paper in, and backed away, cautiously eyeing the now covered windows. Finally trusting that she’d be safe, she heaved a relieved breath.
Y/N sat on the floor, back against a wall with her knees to her chest. What the hell was she going to do now?
9th grade
Y/N was sat near the tennis courts, having her lunch and finishing up her physics homework.
She told her friends to go on without her, to leave her alone so she could actually finish it all.
“Y/N! Come on, let’s go eat together, please?” On-Jo protested, grabbing her arm.
“You guys always distract me, I need to do this!”
“Your grades are already high as it is, one unfinished assignment isn’t going to ruin them!”
“I’ll see you at home time later, okay?”
On-Jo stuck her tongue out at Y/N, crossing her arms and turning back to Gyeong Su and Cheong San.
Now she was here, alone, the serene tranquility calming as she tried solving the headache inducing questions.
She heard a groan come from somewhere near her, causing her to look up from her paper and to the source of the sound.
She found Gwi Nam, well known for being a bully, clutching his arm in pain, leaning against the gate of a tennis court and wincing.
Somehow despite all the rumors and talk around school about him beating kids up until they bruised and bled, she still felt bad for him, still felt bad for him feeling an ounce of the pain he had inflicted on to others.
She sighed, gathering her things into her tote bag and walking over to where he was.
He flinched at the sight of her standing in front of him, quickly regaining his composure and clearing his throat. “What do you want?”
“You hurt your arm.”
“I’m not blind, I can see th-”
“I can help wrap it.”
She reached into her bag and took out a small bag, her own little first aid kit her mother always bugged her into bringing to school, in case anything ever happened.
He didn’t say anything, stunned that he was even being offered help from someone he didn’t even know. An ounce of actual care being put in his direction, it felt nice, made him feel warm inside.
“You’re gonna want to take off your jacket for this.”
Gwi Nam felt as if he was in a trance, curiously watching Y/N and following what she said. He wanted to savour this moment for as long as he could.
Y/N took out an alcohol wipe, carefully lifting Gwi Nam’s sleeve up to get a better look at the cut. The blood was beginning to dry in some parts, but it was still very fresh.
“Get ready, cause this’ll sting.”
She pressed the alcohol wipe down, eliciting a hiss from Gwi Nam as he held back the insult he was about to shout at her. “Okay. Now I’m gonna wrap it.”
Taking out a gauze roll, Y/N began wrapping it around the cut gently, as to not hurt him any further. It was quiet, albeit the awkward kind. The two were so close to each other, and barely even knew each other, which made it all the more awkward.
Y/N decided to take initiative in veering the whole atmosphere into something more relaxed for the two of them, playing the small talk card, one of the things she was pretty skilled at when it came to social interactions.
“So… how’d you get this cut anyway?”
Unlike Y/N, small talk wasn’t Gwi Nam’s strong suit in any way shape or form. He was more direct with his words, more on the nose, so to speak.
“I was fighting some asshole, and somehow he got me pretty bad on the arm.” His bluntness caught Y/N off guard.
She hummed in response, concentrating on bandaging the wound as neatly as she could. “Why do you fight people anyway? I mean, all it does is lead to unnecessary injuries like this.” Gwi Nam shrugged, not saying anything more. The heavy silence returned, but now more relaxed than before.
Once she was done, Y/N tied it into a nice bow, smiling to herself, and turning to look at Gwi Nam to tell him she was finished. She was surprised to find him staring at her, a fascinated look on his face.
“I- I’m done.” She cleared her throat, rubbing her thumb across the wound, something she did to whatever ‘project’ she was finished with. She retracted her hand, realising what she had done, but felt it being pulled back by a warm hand.
Her mouth fell agape as she glanced at their hands, then at Gwi Nam. “Thank you.” He thanked quietly, a small smile on his face, before letting go, the warmth gone as quick as it had come. Getting up, he left Y/N crouching there, sneaking one last glance back at her before heading off, thoughts of the girl that had helped him filling his mind for the rest of the day, and for the 3 years he hadn’t seen her for.
Present day, 7 hours after the outbreak.
Gwi Nam stalked the halls of the school, keeping his eyes (or, um, eye 😃) out for Cheong San. The little imp who had taken his eye out. His hands itched in need to get to that eye of his, to make him feel what he felt when he gouged his eye out.
Zombies limped around him pathetically, and he kicked one in the back just for the heck of it. God, these guys were idiots.
A foreign smell hit him then. Except, it wasn’t that foreign; rather, there was a hint of familiarity laced in it somewhere, though he couldn’t place where he had smelled it before.
He decided that Cheong San could wait. After all, where the hell could he and his idiot friends could go right now? He scoffed, and continued to track the scent, finding it leading to a random classroom.
He couldn’t look inside it though, as the windows had been covered up with paper. There were probably more zombies here before, but the halls were relatively clear now, save for a few of them at the end of the hall.
Gwi Nam tried sliding the door open, but found it locked. “Fuck, of course it’s locked.”
He knocked on the door, tapping his foot impatiently, and putting on his best pleading voice he could muster.
“Please, help me! Open the door, please!”
Y/N lifted her head from her arms. She had fallen asleep, but was awaken by the cries she had heard outside. She felt torn. Her mind told her no, sensibly reasoning that they could be infected, but her heart told her to let them in, reckless and blinded by pity.
The knocking became more hurried and desperate by the second, and before she could give it a second thought, Y/N was in front of the door. If she was bitten, then this was on her. She unlocked the door, sliding the door open a smidge.
She was met with a boy, bloody all over and his eye…
His eye. She went to slide the door back in place, but he grabbed it, stopping it from sliding back.
She whimpered, lip quivering as she tried pushing it shut again. He was shockingly strong, sliding the door open with his one hand even as Y/N tried sliding the door shut with all her might.
“What, what do you want?” Y/N asked, carefully backing away, trying not to sound scared.
She scanned the guy’s face, thinking of who the hell this guy could be, but her mind felt cloudy in panic. The boy slid the door shut, locking it behind him. Oh god. She was going to die, she was going to die.
“You seem familiar…” he remarked, walking toward her, an inquisitive look on his face.
Could it be who he thought she was?
“Who the hell are you?”
This girl was brave, very brave, and she smelled so sweet…
Y/N’s back hit the wall, and now she was trapped, with some guy who was vaguely familiar to her (and kinda hot, although she would never ever admit it.)
Gwi Nam leaned in closer, and Y/N tried pressing herself closer to the wall, a feeble and foolish attempt at getting further away from him, as he leaned in closer to her, reeking of the sharp smell of blood.
He stared into her eyes, those familiar eyes, warm and full of emotion.
No, it couldn’t be her, could it?
Gwi Nam was about to say something when the girl’s eyes widened, and a look of familiarity hit her.
“Wait… you’re Gwi Nam, aren’t you?”
Gwi Nam smirked. “The one and only.”
“I can wrap that eye for you.”
Gwi Nam froze, the smirk being wiped off his face instantly. Those words…
It was her. It was really her.
“It’s you…”
Gwi Nam approached Y/N slowly, mouth open, not knowing what to say. They were so close again, like they had been 3 years ago.
He placed a hand on her cheek. “Are you alright?”
“I-I’m good.” She whispered, giving him a small smile and looking into his eye. His other gouged out eye looked horrible, and she thought of repeating what she did all those years ago…
“I meant what I said. I can wrap that eye for you.”
Gwi Nam nodded, taking in her features all at once. Those 3 years she had been on his mind, day and night. It was kind of the bare minimum, what she did, yet it felt like the world to him. He liked how it made him feel; warm, happy and loved. And now, he had the chance to experience it all over again.
“I actually have a few more serious wounds for you to look at.”
Y/N nodded, taking his hand and bringing him over to where there were two chairs for them both to sit on. “Wait here.”
Y/N looked around the class, trying to find something to use to wrap Gwi Nam’s wounds, or a first aid kit, even.
She spotted one hanging on the wall near the teacher’s desk, and grabbed it.
Sitting back down, Y/N felt deja vu as she was about to ask a question that mirrored her own in 9th grade.
“You’ll need to…”
“Take off my jacket for this?” Gwi Nam smiled.
“Yeah.” Y/N breathed.
He shrugged his jacket off, revealing his black long sleeve shirt. “I have a lot of wounds on my shoulders too.”
“Oh. I guess you’ll also have to, you know.”
Taking his shirt off, Y/N tried her best not to stare at his six pack, and instead focus on… his… wounds…
His wounds…
Oh god.
She got up from her chair, slowly backing away, much to Gwi Nam’s confusion.
“What’s wrong?”
Y/N pointed at him, horrified. “You were bitten.” Her voice went hoarse, and she found herself frozen in place.
“Oh.” He simply said. “These? Yeah, I was bitten, but that was hours ago, so I think I’m immune.” He got up, taking a step toward her, but she took a step back in turn.
“Look, I’m fine, people turn in less than a minute, so I’m all good. You don’t need to worry, okay?”
Her back hit a wall again. This was the end.
She submitted to it, closing her eyes, awaiting the cracking of Gwi Nam’s bones, and for him to charge at her, sinking his teeth into her.
“I would never hurt you.”
“Stay away from me.”
“Please, let me hold you and prove I won’t.”
Y/N reopened her eyes, looking straight at Gwi Nam. He looked hurt, desperate; her heart ached at his display of raw emotion.
She barely knew him, yet she felt like she had known him her whole life. He had that effect on her, knew how to hit her heart in all the right spots.
Despite all the things he’d done, she felt like this. Despite her mind telling her to push him away, her heart yearned to finally do this.
Y/N nodded, stepping forward, and Gwi Nam wrapped his arms around her. He felt as though everything he had found everything he needed now, as if new beginning had found it’s way to him.
They stayed like that for a while, and when Y/N was finally sure he wouldn’t turn, she pulled away, her arms still around his torso as she looked up at him, Gwi Nam, some random guy she helped wrap a wound for in 9th grade.
“Do you believe me now?”
Y/N nodded.
He smiled at her, one of his most genuine ones in the past few years, then cleared his throat.
He slowly let go of Y/N turning to grab his shirt and jacket from the chair. “I’m glad you do. Maybe you won’t need to bandage me up then, I’ll just-”
Y/N grabbed his wrist, stopping Gwi Nam in his tracks. He turned back to Y/N, who had her mouth open slightly.
“It’s fine, I can still wrap them for you.”
She led him back to the chairs, sitting down, and opening the first aid kit, taking the gauze roll out. She could almost feel the warmth of spring, the season when she and Gwi Nam first met.
She took out a couple alcohol wipes, tearing the packaging open, looking to him before cleaning the first wound. He gave her a small smile, and she took it as a sign to start. The acohol wipe felt cool on Gwi Nam’s wound, a slight sting accompanying it after, but he could bear it a little better now. Rolling the gauze around the bite, Y/N tied it into the same bow she did the last time she wrapped him up, rubbing her hand across her ‘handiwork’, a habit she still kept to this day.
Gwi Nam’s smile only grew wider at this.
It was quiet again, but more welcoming, more comforting. It was when Y/N was on the second bite on his bicep that Gwi Nam finally mustered the courage to ask her a question he’d been meaning to ask her ever since that day she’d tended to his cut.
“Hey.”
Y/N looked up momentarily from her work, and Gwi Nam took her features in, the way her eyes widened upon being called, her slight pout, her brows rising.
“It’s funny, you know. We’ve done this same thing twice now, and I don’t even know your name.”
Y/N smiled, looking back at Gwi Nam’s bite, “Well, I suppose now is the time for us to finally do this first impression thing right, hm?”
Gwi Nam grinned, and Y/N looked up after tying the gauze into a bow then, sticking her hand out to Gwi Nam and grinning. “Hi, I’m Y/N L/N.”
Gwi Nam took her hand in his, the grin still prominent on his face. “I’m Yoon Gwi Nam.”
After Y/N was finished tending to Gwi Nam, they finally had an actual conversation with one another, learning things about the other and enjoying each others company, as if there weren’t blood thirsty zombies a door away from them now.

“Yes! I’m telling you, I actually saw it happen!”
Gwi Nam scoffed, “You’re such a liar.”
Y/N shoved him playfully, earning her a laugh from him.
And then the quiet returned.
Right now they were both leaning against the wall behind the teacher’s desk, with Y/N’s knees to her chest, and Gwi Nam with a knee up, and his other leg lounging on the floor.
The world seemed to still as they shared this moment together, where they could just forget of all their troubles and enjoy being in the others presence. It was dark out now, the moonlight shining in through the small cracks where the paper didn’t stick well.
It all felt… strange, to Y/N. All of this, her and Gwi Nam, the fact that she felt some sort of attraction to him, it felt so weird, yet so familiar to her.
He was a bully, mean and an asshole in so many ways, yet when he was with her, Y/N could barely imagine him actually hitting a person. He was sweet, loving, understanding.
He told her of how when he was a child, his mother had died after getting into a car accident, and so he was left in the care of his stepfather.
He told her of how his stepfather acted as if Gwi Nam wasn’t even there. Sure, he cared for him, bought him clothes, fed him, put a roof over his head; but he never once acted as if he were even a child of his, never once spent time with him. Gwi Nam tried everything to gain his attention, and yet, no matter how much he tried, it never worked. He was still nothing to his stepfather.
Y/N felt for him, understanding why Gwi Nam was the way he was. No, she wasn’t justifying it, all the things he’d done were horrible, period; but now she knew the root of why he became who he was today.
Maybe that’s why he had looked so weirded out when Y/N offered to help with his wound that day.
Maybe now, she could help him through his issues, and love him; because underneath the hard crust that was the mean bully Gwi Nam, were all his best qualities, awaiting their moment of glory.
Maybe she was the one who could help him shine.
Love was strange when it came to Y/N, a friend, but an enemy all in one. It treated her badly at times, but would reward her kindly at others. Now, she felt like love was rewarding her. For what deed it was repaying her back for, she didn’t know, but she knew that she loved every second of it.
He took a deep breath in, and Y/N followed, closing her eyes. Gwi Nam took her in again, how at peace she looked, how joy was etched into every inch of her face. It was like she was made to bring happiness wherever she went, spreading it to others lucky enough to be around her.
Y/N, now feeling like she was being stared at, reopened her eyes, looking to Gwi Nam with curiosity. “Can I help you?”
“You already have.” Gwi Nam whispered.
He placed a hand on her cheek, and Y/N leaned into it.
“Y/N, I…”
He looked to her lips, then back at her eyes. Y/N’s breath hitched as she awaited his next move.
She closed her eyes again, letting the moment happen before her.
Gwi Nam smiled before kissing her, their mouths moving in sync with each other. He placed his other hand on her cheek, and she moved closer to him, tangling her hands into his hair, both smiling throughout the kiss.
It felt like everything else didn’t matter in that moment, as if shooting stars began showering down, making their moment all the more magical. Love had never seemed more real than now.
Y/N pulled away, both of them gasping for air, eliciting giggling from the two of them. “I love you, Y/N. Thank you, for showing me what love feels like, thank you, for being so loving.” Gwi Nam rested his forehead against hers, appreciating everything that led up to them meeting, even the asshole who had given him that cut 3 years ago.
thanks for reading <3 ₊˚ପ⊹

Hey Jealousy
Pairing: Orange CassidyxReader
Warnings: smut, 18+, explicit sex, relationship jealousy
Words: 1.9k
Complete: Yes
Summary:
You and Orange Cassidy have been fooling around for a while. But considering his usually apathetic demeanour, you hadn't expected him to get jealous when another wrestler flirted with you.
Author's Note:
The most embarrassing thing about this is that I felt inspired to write OC smut because I rewatched The Fish Video™
When MJF started flirting with you, you hadn't realised what he was doing at first. You were hanging out backstage in catering, waiting for Brandon to come and film your next bit for BTE.
The pandemic had been hard on all of you, and sometimes it felt like it had sucked the life out of the industry and the air out of the Daley's Place wrestling ring. But in such a young company and with so many motivated people, they'd managed to find positives in it.
The main positive that you saw was days and evenings like this. Spent milling about the backstage area of Daley's Place, sometimes vlogging, sometimes filming BTE, sometimes working out or practising moves on one another. Sometimes just talking and spending time with your fellow wrestlers while you avoided going back to your depressing quarantine hotel rooms.
That was how you'd ended up realising MJF wasn't such a bad guy after all, and how you'd ended up in bed with Orange Cassidy.
Speaking of Orange, he was watching your conversation with Max. Orange wasn't convinced about Max being a good guy, and despite his sunglasses you could feel the harsh way he was looking at Max, eyeing him closely from behind the silver lenses.
Max leaned in towards you then and said something under his breath with a wink. You didn't really hear what he said because suddenly you could feel blood rushing in your ears. Your ears always turned red when you were embarrassed, and immediately you thought of the way Orange would point it out in bed and nip under your earlobe.
You were embarrassed now because, thinking back on the conversation you were having and Max's body language, it should have been painfully obvious that he was trying to pick you up. You wouldn't even call it flirting at that point, he had a look in his eye that told you he was looking for a warm body in his bed tonight.
Your eyes flicked towards Orange and then back to Max as you processed Max's words. You could practically feel how cold Orange was across the six foot distance between where you stood and where he sat. Max was asking if you wanted to hang out once your scene for BTE was done, you realised.
"Um... Maybe," you said weakly.
Max's eyebrows knitted together and he looked icily at Orange and then back at you. Max began to say something and you were terrified of what it might be, but then Brandon was walking into the room and calling you over.
*
You laid in bed tossing and turning that night. It was 2AM and you'd been up since 5AM the previous morning. Exhaustion should have been hitting you by now, but you were up thinking about Orange instead.
He'd seemed so upset to see Max flirting with you. You figured it was just because Orange had wanted to hook up tonight, and had been disappointed that you might be busy with Max instead. For some reason that thought made you a little sad. Did you want something more than friends-with-benefits with Orange?
As if he could hear your thoughts, there was a small knock at the door. Orange always knocked quietly when he came to see you late into the night, knowing the surrounding rooms were filled with other wrestlers trying to sleep.
You got up quickly, not bothering to put on pants over your underwear and tank top. He'd seen you in plenty less anyway.
When you reached the door, you took a deep breath before you pulled it open. You couldn't pinpoint exactly why you were nervous, but you had a feeling Orange was going to be mad at you when you opened the door.
Finally, you bit the bullet and pulled the door open.
There was Orange, standing before you. No sunglasses, no double denim, hands clutched by his sides rather than in his pockets. He was wearing a worn old Chuck Taylor t-shirt, the one that looked like a whiskey label. And beneath that, a pair of worn grey sweatpants.
To be frank, he looked like shit. His spray tan had rubbed off of most of his face and neck, but was patchy and bright orange in some places. His eyes were red, and his usually perfect hair stuck up at all angles.
He took a step forward without saying anything, and you took a step back and to the side to get out of his way.
"What's wrong?" you asked, fearing the worst.
That someone might be hurt, that someone might have COVID. That maybe the pandemic was just too much and the whole company was folding. TK finally seeing business sense and cutting his losses.
Instead, Orange said:
"I didn't think you'd be here."
His voice cracked on the last syllable.
"It's 2AM. Where else would I be?" you asked dumbly.
"With Max," Orange snapped back immediately.
"I told Max 'no'," you replied truthfully.
You'd texted Max once you finished filming BTE with Brandon and told him you weren't interested in dating right now. Not the complete truth, but enough. He hadn't replied to you.
"Why?" Orange asked. His jaw was clenched like he was trying to be angry with you, but his voice still sounded hoarse and on the verge of tears. "It's not like we're dating," he muttered.
Orange looked down at his feet then - he was barefoot - and you felt your heart drop into your stomach.
You moved further back into the room and sat down on the bed, staring at your feet too. You dragged your toes through the carpet. You didn't want to reply until you were sure what to say.
Orange was playing tough, but you weren't stupid. He was hurt. You could hear it in his voice. And the rational part of your brain knew that the only reason he would be hurt was because he was jealous. Because you weren't dating, but he wanted you to be.
"Are you upset because I flirted with Max, or are you upset because we're not dating and you wish we were."
Your question seemed to suck all of the air out of the room, and you didn't dare look up at Orange to see what his face looked like.
You heard him cross the room towards you, and you felt yourself shake a little. You figured this would be the end of whatever this was, and it made your chest ache.
But then Orange's hand was under your chin, forcing your face up to look at him. His features were hard and unreadable, which scared you even more. But this position, sat on the edge of the bed while he stood over you, was intimately familiar. A wave of arousal washed over you, mingling with the fear you felt.
"I want you all to myself," he said confidently.
The crack in his voice was gone now and his hand felt like it was burning against your skin.
"I want that too," you croaked weakly.
Then Orange was all over you. He pushed you down onto the bed and covered your body with his. Instinctively you wrapped your legs around his waist and in seconds he was pushing your panties to the side and shoving his own sweatpants down to free his dick.
He pushed inside of you immediately and you bit back a cry, throwing your head back and wrapping your legs even tighter around him. Your ass arched off the bed and he held your hips so that you stayed off the bed, thrusting into you hard enough that it hurt.
"No one else gets to touch you like this," he growled, pulling you up towards him by your hair so that he could kiss you.
The kiss was gentler than you expected. He opened you up slow and sweet, licking the inside of your mouth. While he did he let your hips down so you were sitting on his lap, which freed up his hands to pull your tank top off over your head.
You clawed desperately at his shirt to take it off and he huffed out a laugh at how frantic you were, fingers slipping on the hem more than once before you finally got it off.
Once his shirt came off and you saw him smiling down fondly at you, you fell apart.
You kissed Orange desperately on the mouth and then he was thrusting into you again. You buried your face into the crook of Orange's neck and the way he was rocking into your body made you purr against him.
He was still chuckling at your antics, even as he wove a hand between your bodies and found your clit. He was an expert at making you cum after all the nights you'd spent together, and you felt yourself coming undone even more.
"I love you like this," he hummed into your hair, pressing a kiss there.
You must have misheard him, your brain going to mush as he rubbed his thumb in circles over your clit. You were already getting close, and your legs began to shake around his waist.
"I love you too," you replied breathlessly.
You froze when you realised what you'd said, but Orange just wrapped his free arm around you and kept pushing you closer towards your orgasm.
Orange laid you down gently onto your back as you got close and when he thrust as deep into you as he could go you couldn't help but cum, clawing at the sheets and throwing your head back as a strangled moan escaped your throat.
Orange didn't relent after that, rocking you through your orgasm until your hips squirmed underneath him. Then he laid his hand flat on your stomach and held you still, snapping his hips in a quick rhythm.
You knew him well enough to know when he was close now. His knees would get a little shaky and he wouldn't be able to help but let a stray moan or two out as all of his brainpower focused on maintaining his rhythmic thrusts.
Tonight he was staring right into your eyes, leaning over you like he was searching for something.
"Tell me you love me again," he dared, eyes not leaving yours.
"I love you," you gasped immediately.
"Oh shit," he replied appreciatively.
Normally Orange was quiet when he came, and you couldn't help but feel like you were being trusted with another side of him that you didn't usually get to see. Greedily, you wanted more. You wanted to hear all the noises he could make.
"I love you," you said again, chanting it now, "I love you, Orange."
When Orange finally came he bent his head and groaned long and low into the pillow beside your head. You rubbed his back through it as his hips stuttered and finally stilled above you.
Orange didn't move until he caught his breath, and when he did he turned his head to press a gentle kiss to your temple.
"I love you too," he said, as though it was the easiest thing in the world.
Neither of you said much after that, laying quietly beside each other in bed like you'd done a thousand times before. You were starting to wonder if you'd hallucinated the whole thing when Orange rolled towards you and draped one arm over your side, being your big spoon.
"I meant it," he said quietly, voice cracking like it had when he'd first walked through the door tonight.
You grabbed his arm with both of yours and tugged him closer to you, so that your whole bodies were flush against each other.
"Me too."
"So no more flirting with Max," he said with a laugh, smacking your ass playfully.
But when you turned your head and looked up at him he looked anything but playful. He looked ready for round two.

Captain Maybank
PAIRING: JJ Maybank x Fem!Reader
SUMMARY: Crushing on a classmate and confessing to him three years later.
WORDS: 2.0k

A/N: for @pogueslandia cos i take long to rep i’m so sorry hajeiehdksjw anyway voila ALSO YAY GUESS WHO’S BACK i honestly intended for this to be an angst but couldn’t find ways to make it sad so have fluff :’)

Moving into a strange town of which you knew little to nothing about is terrifying because it should be. But honestly? You felt anything but.
It was liberating to walk the streets of an unfamiliar place however lost it made you feel, however parasitic. You parted with your friends from the city with emotional goodbyes but somehow you just knew you would eventually get over it.
“Sign’s a bit creaky now, isn’t it?” you said while you got your stuff together in an attempt to make friendly small talk, looking up at the aged sign of a fish you had also seen on the printed shirt of the man you could only assume owned the store.
He was wiping sweat away from his forehead. The man chuckled. “Mhm, been telling my son ‘bout that. For the record, it’s been half a year.”
“Sounds like a drag, sir.”
“Sounds like a drag indeed.” He nodded politely with a wave to excuse himself, soon jogging over to the other men carrying crates and crates of stock.
You swung your bag on your bag, finally ripping off the pack of a popsicle you’d bought from the nearest convenience store on your way here.
Outer Banks isn’t so bad, but you have yet to see for yourself when you go to school after the weekend.
——
Starting eighth grade in a school you knew nothing about should also be frightening, but it isn’t. The cute guy who almost never turns up makes it a little better. Okay, a lot better. You had even made a game out of it: if he comes to school, you’ll buy yourself something good and it always turns out great; you see him, you get yourself a new trinket, and you enjoy your day! The only problem is that he’s frequently absent.
Heck, you only know his name – JJ. And that’s only thanks to that one girl with curly hair who’d asked if he was free later that night.
“JJ,” she had half-whispered and half-hissed to him, poking him with her pen. “JJ!”
“What up?”
“You free tonight?”
Kinda bummed you out that he’d said yes.
Welp, you thought to yourself that day, scouting for someone new to like. Guess he’s taken.
And Typical You would’ve gone about your day, scouting the hallways for someone bearable. But you didn’t. See, you’d never been the type to critique each and every person you come across but, Lord, they made it so easy.
It didn’t help when a couple of girls invited you to sit with them and you learned more about their cliques.
“Pogues and Kooks?” you laughed. They didn’t seem so amused. “Oh, so it’s legit? Like, rich bitches are Kooks and. . .”
“I mean, we wouldn’t put it that way,” said one of them, seemingly defensive of your impression of them.
Goodness me, you thought to yourself. Do they think I’m a Kook? ‘Cause I’m from the city?
You made up your mind by then that, well, maybe an in-between clique would be nice. But you decided to prioritize scouting for a new person to like. A while after the information of the Pogues and Kooks came into your head, it was hard to unsee who these people were.
Guy by the lockers? Cocky.
Guy who offered to carry your bags? Gentleman, but smells like flip flops, the bad ones.
New guy who ran into you and held out his hand? Nope, because who the fuck wants to shake hands nowadays?
The one who sat just across from you in most of your classes? He’s alright, he’s great. Fantastic, even. He likes to sit with his legs a little bit too open in his seat, his leg prone to getting at least one student and or teacher to trip. The only problem? He’s JJ.
You barely even knew the guy! You laughed to yourself, taking in the amount of stupidity you were bringing upon yourself.
“Yes, Miss [Y/L/N]?” your teacher had asked from the front, bringing all eyes to burn you deeply. Unfortunately or fortunately, JJ was present, and you didn’t know if it made the situation better or worse, for however ashamed you were to be seen in that scenario, it sure felt good to be seen.
“Nothing, sir.” You feigned a cough. “Er — carry on.”
Maybe it was your situational disposition, but you could’ve sworn he had stared a little longer than everyone else.
Or maybe, just hopefully, he really was.
——
You weren’t a liar, but one summer night forced you to be one, what with an empty bottle on the surface of the one and only familiar boat.
“Okay, yeah, sure, maybe I did have a thing for John B three years ago but that was so long ago!” False. You’d been lying about who you liked in this friend group for a long while now, and the only one who knew was John B himself.
“Why’re you talking like he’s not here?” JJ snorted, patting John B at the back. “Also, I am not letting this go, I am totally gonna hold this against you.”
You shot John B an apologetic look, desperate to get out of the situation. You had only said you liked John B to, well, eliminate the possibilities of ever making it awkward with JJ.
“Mhm,” Kie nodded, her eyes narrowed. “If there’s nothing there, then kiss John B on the cheek.”
Fuck. “What are we, twelve? I’m not kissing anybody.”
“Fine,” said Kie, trying not to laugh. “Shake hands, then.”
“Fine,” you say.
Brows furrowed, you held out your hand to John B, who was conveniently just sitting across from you.
“So?”
“No, Kiara, still no.” Okay, I handled that pretty well. The worst is over.
“Alright, if you say so.”
“In fact,” you say, already tasting the next stupid thing you were about to say out loud. “I like . . . Pope.”
“Pope? You like Pope?” John B started, as if challenging you to keep on going. You don’t look at JJ; you would look anywhere but JJ’s way. “Too bad he’s not here, huh?”
“Some news,” JJ commented, laughing. The least you could do was, well, laugh along. What the hell were you supposed to do? What else should you have said?
That you like JJ? That you’ve been so head over heels for him the moment you met? That you thought those feelings would go away when you got to know him but it only got worse?
——
Kie had to leave because of her curfew. John B had to make you suffer, leaving you alone with JJ himself to clean up.
“Captain,” you greeted, offering a pretend salute to him.
“Madam,” he responds, bowing. “Ahoy.”
The two of you laugh, the running gag a big thing to the two of you. It’s fun, that’s it. And it’s so easy to be with him. Who’s to say what you have right now wouldn’t be ruined by the truth you hide in your heart?
On school days, you’d have pushed to get home already but it wouldn’t be so bad now, seeing that you’re already there. You sit at the stern, still holding the can of soda you had yet to finish; it had gone warm.
To your surprise, JJ sits next to you.
“Pope, huh?”
Nope, I’m just stupid. Please know I like you. Or don’t. Yep, better that you don’t.
“It’s just a crush,” you tell him, brushing it off. Please talk about something else instead.
“Those can hurt too, you know.” JJ sits down next to you, dipping his feet into the water, playing with the ripples that followed wherever he brought it. You did the same thing.
You snort. “Like you’d know anything about that, Captain Maybank.”
JJ shrugged. “Eh, what do you know, the ladies wanna cruise with me.”
“Aw, you have your way with words, you know that?”
Silence. A good one? You decide it is anyway.
You raise your feet off the water, waiting until your side stilled before tapping at the surface with your toe. A good webbed ripple danced along the water. Ripple by ripple, it’s beautiful. It brings the same kind of satisfaction you get when dominoes fall on each other and the sound of it all going down is consistent.
All was well until the urge to confess came.
“You’d like anybody but me, wouldn’t you?” JJ said, causing you to almost tip over. Thankfully, you caught yourself before the worst could attack.
“What?”
“Kidding,” he said, but the breeziness in it was gone. “Captains make jokes.”
Silence once more. Probably not the best kind.
“I lied,” you find yourself saying. Fuck. No turning back. You can’t take back a ripple or rearrange dominoes once one has already been tipped over. “I’ve been lying and I am so, so, sorry and this is probably a bad idea because I have no escape because we’re in the middle of night waters and I can’t drive the damn boat in case you freeze and–”
“Hey, hey, breathe,” JJ said, laughing. You do, but only because you would die if you don’t. “Okay, go on.”
“And – and – uh, where was I? Right! I guess what I’m just trying to say is this is stupid but I like you and I only said I liked John B and Pope is because I don’t wanna ruin our friendship because I know you see me as a friend, and, well, I mean, don’t you?”
“Oh,” JJ said.
“Fuck, I am so, so, sorry. Just — just forget I ever said anything and pretend I’m hammered and just bring us back to the docks—”
“Can I kiss you?”
You froze, evidently not because of the cold, but probably partly that as well. “What?
“Well, I can’t not ask for permission first, you know,” he said, laughing. He watched you for a while, but you said nothing, for probably a solid forever. “So, uh, can I?”
“Is it a pity kiss?”
“I’ll let you be the judge of that.” And he inched closer, and the closer he went, the more your heart did the stupid thing it always does at the sight of anything remotely close to affection.
But what came next could’ve killed you in the best way possible – his lips were on yours for the first time, and your hands were awkwardly placed on your lap, unsure if it was still mobile. Was it?
——
It was more than just a pity kiss. The following weeks were enough to answer that; you’d never been so happy. So much more time spent on the boat, most of which were spent with just the two of you taking advantage of each other’s company.
Surprisingly, he attended school more. It’s fun, it’s great, it’s everything you could ever ask for and more. He knew you so well, and you him.
A routine of Captains and Madams just made you warm all over, and you hated the warm. It’s hard to explain, really. You’d never had anything like it. It’s something you can’t just write, something words couldn’t account for, and it’s well known that words do a lot of work.
It’s, as general and as direct as you can explain it, brilliant.
“Why do you even like me?” you ask him on a Friday night when he’d excused the two of you from your friends, hanging out in the same place you two had let out the truths out of you.
JJ looked at you with that same smile you had always longed to see. “Why don’t I?”
“That’s such a cowardly answer!” you teased. “I’m kidding, it’s a good answer. I just want you to elaborate.”
Was it weird that as of this moment, you are holding the hand of someone you never thought you’d be more than friends with? Totally. In a good weird, though.
He began to count with his free hand, listing off things he likes about you. “You’re funny, you’re pretty, you’re smart, you’re . . . you. You’re [Y/N]. And I like that I don’t have to pretend to be someone else with you. I like that I like me with you.”
“Hm, is it just me or is JJ Maybank getting all moochy with me?”
“That he is, and rightfully so.”
The two of you played with the ripples more that night, watching the moonlight distort along its surface, and with it your faces.

Maybe number 120 for the horror prompts for sun? -Art anon
120) "Why can't I make you happy?"
(Request more angst/horror here!)
......
“Wh-What am I doing wrong??? Was I too harsh?? Too loud?? I wanted to help but...but all I did was make you angry! Why can’t I make you happy???”
“You actually cared about my happiness?” Gregory scoffed at the panicky daycare attendant. “Remind me again who kicked me out and sent all those animatronics to kill me for something I didn't even do."
“K...Kill..you?” Sun’s neck clicked as he tilted his head. And his shoulders slumped with the realization that he wasn’t the only one who felt odd earlier. He was upset about the lights going out, yes, but he didn’t mean to get so irrationally angry. Especially when it wasn't the kid's fault.
He was only..terrified and confused by his actions. As if he didn't mean them intentionally
Even you--a technician who got called here tonight--were confused by his change of behavior.
‘This glitch is more complex than I thought. It's scrambling with his programming, trying to take over in any way it can.’
“Sun.” You spoke up. “I feel like you should know that the Glamrocks aren’t..feeling their best. Everyone but Freddy has been terrorizing Gregory all night, and-”
“I thought hiding in the daycare would help.” The brunette partially lied, frowning as he folded his arms across his chest. “They’re trying to kill me..and you bring them all at once on top of that Moon freak-”
“No! No! No!! Moon is not a freak! H-He was only trying...I-I was only trying to...” Sun gazed down at his shaking hands, trying to make sense of his own thoughts and actions. But he just sniffled and brought them over his face. “He’s..n-not a bad guy..I swear! None of us are!”
Seeing how he was acting made you realize something: Sun himself was only slightly affected by the glitch, but his programming to protect children might’ve been fighting back, and it only fails if the lights go off as Moon--the one who was truly infected--takes his place.
“Hm.” You hummed for a brief moment, though Sun looked up at you and seemed panicky. He even flinched as you stepped forward, only to be confused at the hand you put on his shoulder. “I believe you.”
“What?!”
“Gregory, he’s got a point. Sun genuinely doesn’t mean any harm, so..maybe he’ll cooperate better.”
"With..?”
“Taking him to parts and services to fish out this bug he’s got.” You smiled gently at the jester animatronic. “If we figure out how it works with you..maybe we can figure out the others. Don’t expect any miracles, though, I just..think we should try. Moon can’t come out unless all the lights are off, right, Greg?”
“Right..” Gregory muttered, almost feeling reluctant to trust someone who literally fed him to the wolves. But he decided to put a little faith in your maintenance skills. “So, I guess you’re on our side..hopefully for the rest of the night. I won’t knock over anymore of your stuff.” He promised Sun.
He nodded in understanding, fiddling with the bells on his wrist before looking back at you. His fingers grasped at your sleeve, almost a bit too tightly.
“Moon may not cooperate at all. But I know we need this now more than ever! So please..help us̷..”

A gift to my lovely friend who also drew this gorgeous piece for this fic,  @bacterialheaven  <3 (Your art fascinates me so much ahh T^T)
Although most of the devil hunters have the life instinct, I think Hirofumi doesn't care much about survival while doing his work, making him the perfect example of an individual with a death drive. Just like Kishibe (:

The depths of the ocean had many things hidden at the bottom where sunlight never reached. Fish still yet to be discovered, monsters and devils.
Swimming in the ocean was something you could never do since the thought of never knowing what might be hiding underneath the dark waters was horrifying.
However, the terrifying creatures of the ocean could never get you as long as you stayed on the land.
Right?
~~~
Hitchhiking wasn’t as dangerous as you had anticipated. When you told your close friends that you would be making your way out of the city by hitchhiking, they warned you about the dangers of getting in the car with someone who might want to hurt you. No matter how much you tried to explain to them how you had to lay low and stay away from any public transportations to not get caught, they didn’t listen.
However you hadn’t listened to them either, that was why you were sitting on your luggage near the roadside. You were only a couple of towns away from the city but you still had a long way to travel.
It had taken you more than a dozen rides to get to here from where you had started. Normally it would take two hours by car to travel here but it took you eight hours to get where you were now.
It was getting late, your last ride had promised to drop you off next to a place you could stay the night but the man was too creepy to look at and you felt uneasy to be stuck in the truck with him.
Naturally, you had insisted that he dropped you off on the first roadside diner.
You regretted it now. It was the middle of the night, you didn’t have any place to stay and the roadside diner you had been planning to eat was out of your budget.
Either you had to get a ride now to save money to travel to a cheaper roadside diner or go out of your budget and stay the night here feasting on food… The latter option was the worst. Saving money was more important.
You knew how to attract a ride anyway. Smile in a friendly way, hold up your ‘going to the countryside!’ sign, and hope for the best. You wouldn’t wait any longer than between ten to fifteen minutes before hitching a ride but it was almost impossible to get a ride at night.
There was no way that someone would drive you to the next town or somewhere you could sleep. Everyone was on the edge because of the devil attacks that had started happening more frequently.
No. Don’t think about devils. Not now. Not ever.
With a long sigh, you redirected the light from your flashlight onto the map. You could wait until the morning or start walking on the side of the road until you came across a gas station; however, it all felt like a waste of time and effort. This side of the city didn’t have anything but trees on the roadsides. It could be dangerous to walk close to the forest at night too, you had heard the devils who lived in nature would come out at night.
The sound of your stomach grumbling brought you out of your frantic thoughts.
You were starving, the last thing you ate was a granola bar in the morning. It had been quite a while since you had last eaten but if you went over your budget, you might not be able to make it to your destination.
“Where are you headed?”
Startled, you turned your head to the man who was talking to you. He looked around your age, he had black hair and a rather creepy smile tugging at his lips.
“Um, the countryside.”
“Oh, you’re all alone?” he asked.
You nodded to confirm. Then internally yelled at yourself for telling him that you were alone. He could be someone dangerous.
“I’m headed to the countryside too, want me to give you a ride?” He gestured towards a black car parked in front of the diner.
You would have taken his offer if it weren’t for the sinister smile on his face.
“Thank you but I wouldn’t want to be a burden.” You averted your gaze from him and shone the light back on the map.
“It’s dangerous to be out this late at night.” He put his hands in his pockets, shrugging slightly. “I wouldn’t be able to sleep knowing I didn’t take you to safety.” He gestured towards the parked car behind him once again. “I'll give you a ride, free of charge.”
He had cornered you, there was no reason for you to refuse his offer. You were still conflicted though, you would have turned him down if it wasn’t this late in the night. He didn’t look like the type of person to take no for an answer either. You couldn’t say no to his generous offer but you kept hesitating. If you were to find the perfect excuse maybe he would leave. However, you didn’t have any excuses.
Ugh!
Why were you even hesitating? You needed a ride and here was this guy, offering to take you away from the doomed city. You hit the jackpot!
“A-are you sure?”
“Come on, I was about to leave.”
“Ah, I can’t thank you enough.” Gathering the stuff you had with you and putting away the flashlight, you forced yourself to smile at him. “You saved me from waiting who knows how long for another ride.”
He didn’t say anything as he led the way towards his car. Opening the baggage, he let you put your luggage in the back and closed it. As you were walking around the car to open the door and sit on the back seat, the guy spoke before he hopped on the driver seat himself.
“I have stuff in the back, sit on the front.”
You stared inside through the window to see two large black bags on the backseats. Reluctantly, you reached to open the front door and climbed inside the car.
“So, where are you exactly headed?” He asked as he put on his seatbelt.
His question brought you out of your frantic thoughts. “Somewhere remote.”
“Hmm, so no specific destination? Don’t you have a family member who’s waiting for you? Where are you going to stay?”
You didn’t have anywhere to stay. At least not yet. Your plan was to find a motel and stay somewhere remote until people forgot about you.
Most importantly, it didn’t feel like he was asking these questions to start a conversation. You changed your mind, wanting to get out of the car.
You turned your head to tell him that but his unsettling stare left you speechless.
He asked a more particular question. “Do you have a specific address you want me to drop you off to?”
“I-in front of the first cheap motel we come across would be perfect.” You clutched on your small shoulder bag. You felt nervous when people stared at you for too long.
He hummed in acknowledgment as the car rolled forward.
“You seem to have a lot of luggage. Moving somewhere?” he spoke again, taking a turn and getting on the highway.
Your head jerked up, looking at him. “Um, uh.” You were hesitant to lie. “I’m just backpacking around the country.”
“Wouldn’t it be cheaper to bike instead of hitchhiking?” He wasn’t even facing you but you could tell he was smirking at your utter stupidity. “Or rather do it with a group?”
Although your throat felt dry, you didn’t dare to swallow. “Probably but I wanted to have a little adventure for myself, alone.”
“Don’t backpackers usually have a backpack and not a luggage?”
“I just have too many things I need with me.” Ahh, you were so bad at lying. Stop fidgeting with your fingers and looking around like that. He will notice. Just… change the subject. “A-anyway, I don’t think we introduced ourselves. I’m (name), what’s your name?”
“Hirofumi.” He grabbed the gear shift, changing it to a higher level and speeding up. You sank deeper into your seat and started to panic. Only then you realized you hadn’t put on your own seatbelt. While you were hurriedly trying to put it on, Hirofumi pressed on the cigarette lighter button. You hoped he wasn’t going to smoke inside the car but failed to notice how there weren't any cigarette tar stains on the interior of the car.
He took a sharp turn, you grunted but managed to put your seatbelt on. As you sat back in your seat, the first thing you noticed was that he was driving down towards a road leading towards the forest.
“Um, I think you took a wrong turn,” you said, bringing it up to his attention.
“It’s a shortcut.” He kept his eyes on the road that was only being illuminated by the headlights, everything else was dark, you had no idea what kind of shortcut he was taking.
There was this feeling of being in the middle of the ocean. You could feel something sinister was lingering in the deep dark water underneath you. Something was about to emerge and grab you by your ankle, pull you down, and drown you.
You knew how to swim.
However, could you swim if whatever thing was pulling you down turned out to be a lot stronger and scarier than anything you had ever faced?
Could you struggle when you were this weak?
Could you fight when you had nothing to fight with?
Without your weapons.
Without your badge.
Without your devil.
“You know, hitchhiking was a great idea,” he said, his fingers drumming on the steering wheel as he continued smiling. “It was a smart option but for someone as dumb as you, there was a way to ruin it. You went and told all of your dumb friends about your plan.”
You stared at him for some sort of explanation but you didn’t need any. Yet you still asked him, whimpering, “W-what are you talking about?” Your bottom lip had started trembling.
He knew.
“For a devil hunter, your sense of danger is too low.”
A tremendous wave of panic washed over you when he sped up.
“Who are you?” Did you even need to ask? He was one of those private hunters. Makima had most likely sent him after you.
Despite being a devil hunter from the city, you were now weak. You had resigned from your work without notice and broke the deal with your devil. Although it had been an impending decision rather than a sudden one, you had left your work abruptly.
After watching so many people die and losing who you had thought would be your friends for a long time, the bitter truth of being a devil hunter had resurfaced.
Devil hunters were destined to die on the job, sooner or later.
The money you earned from being a devil hunter could let you live in comfort materialistically until the day you died but having to suffer from nightmares every single time you put your head on the pillow or closed your eyes could never be comforting. It wasn’t worth it.
You didn’t want to lose more people or see any more grotesque devils murdering civilians but once you started working under Makima’s orders, leaving wasn’t that easy.
That’s why you were on the run.
Even though you had sworn to protect the people of your country, you were running away from the job that gave you a purpose to your insignificant life like a coward.
How childish.
The cigarette lighter popped off with a soft click sound, bringing you out of your hectic thoughts.
He was taking you back… He was going to hand you over to Makima. You were going to work until you died.
“You should’ve gone up north, going south was predictable. Well, at least if you hadn’t told your friends about the hitchhiking part, maybe you’d go under everyone’s radar. However you’re a chatty one, aren’t you? Some ‘friendship comes before work’ type of person, huh? That would explain a lot-”
Hirofumi’s words didn’t reach you anymore. The color drained from your face and your ears started ringing. Your whole body started to shake, and tears started streaming down your cheeks. “Please,” you sobbed, your voice came out shaky, pathetic. “Please don’t do this. I did nothing. I’m just tired of all of the deaths and I can’t handle it any-”
“You can’t talk your way out of this,” Hirofumi said as he took another sharp turn, driving deeper into the forest.
You found yourself stuttering, ”Y-you don’t understand.” You looked at Hirofumi with tears in your eyes. “I’ll be killed.”
“What are you so unhappy with?” Hirofumi spoke again but he wasn’t even facing you. “It’s not like you were living contentedly up until now, were you? In that case, it makes no difference where you live or what you do for a living. Or if you’re killed or not.”
Your face found a new shade of pale. He wouldn’t understand. He was one of those crazy devil hunters who had shut their humanity off.
“You only had to kill demons for a bit and you got rice every day. It might as well be heaven but I guess you weren’t a real hunter.” His smile grew wider as he was watching the trees creep towards him slowly before zooming past the window. “You can die in peace now.”
You got quiet but your tears didn’t stop.
With a vicious smile on his lips, Hirofumi turned away to face you. “You know, a pro devil hunter wouldn’t cry.”
Everything was spinning, it made you believe that your head felt fuzzy. It didn’t even occur to you that he was driving at a normal speed now. Almost immediately you tried to think of an escape plan. Could you manage to run away if you were taken to the headquarters? There was no way you could and that was why you had to fight with everything you had to refuse to go with him. You looked out of the window, the forest could be a great way to lose him. The trees and the darkness could cover you, giving you the advantage to sneak away without having to face this guy in a battle. What was your next move going to be?
You didn’t know but you had to get away.
You stared at the door lock, it was locked but you could lift it even without him noticing. The speed was still accelerating but if you managed to jump out of the car you would have a head start by running. The car wouldn’t stop until his shock wore off and that would give you the great advantage of looking for a place to hide.
There weren’t many people or devils out in the forest at this time of the night. Hopefully. It would be easy for you to run without being seen by another person who could tell him where you went.
What if a devil attacked-
Getting overwhelmed, you took a sharp breath and exhaled loudly. You had to calm down. You didn’t have much time to think over the plan, you just had to do it. If you waited for too long you were going to lose this chance of getting away.
Hesitantly, you glanced at Hirofumi. To your luck, he was only focused on driving.
Cone on. Come on. Come on.
Your heart was pounding, a single cold sweat droplet trickled down from the burning skin of your temple to your cheek as you carefully and suddenly unlocked the door. But you forgot about the most important thing. Your seatbelt. Your biggest mistake was forgetting to unbuckle your seatbelt. As you had twisted your body to jump out of the car, you had found yourself stuck, slammed back into your seat from the force of the seatbelt itself.
Hirofumi stared at you as if it wasn’t a big deal that you opened the door of the moving vehicle or how you were trying to escape. He lifted his right hand up while he crossed his middle and index fingers, “Octopus.”
Your blood ran cold as a giant tentacle emerged outside of the car from a dark cloud and slammed the door closed. You were frozen in your seat as if your muscles had dried up and turned to stone.
What was that?
No, you didn’t want to know.
The car decelerated until it slowly rolled to a stop.
You didn’t dare to look at Hirofumi but you knew he was smiling at you. You knew he had that sinister smile plastered on his face, glowering at you with his big dark eyes.
“Ink.”
He turned off the engine, the headlights flickered off and it became pitch black. Darker than black. It all swallowed you whole. It was as if light didn't exist, the only thing you could see was the dangerous glint in his eyes.
Hirofumi calmly plucked off the burning hot cigarette lighter and held his hand out towards you but you couldn't see. “Ms. Makima told me to bring you to the headquarters,” he said, pausing momentarily as you were trembling in fear, unable to move a muscle. “Dead or alive. I get paid either way.”
You gulped audibly. This was it, wasn’t it? The end.
There was another long pause before he sighed and pressed the cigarette lighter on your thigh. “Look me in the eye when I’m talking to you.”
The sharp pain made your eyes widen and your mouth popped open in pain. You could run away, you just had to unbuckle the seatbelt and bolt out of the car.
However, as soon as your hand went to the buckle to pop the latch plate out, he firmly pressed the metal lighter on the back of your hand.
Yowling in agony, you refused to retrieve your hand and instead unbuckled your seatbelt. Without giving him another chance to attack, you opened the door.
As soon as you fell on the mud, you took a couple of wobbly steps before finally gaining your strength and used the ground as a springboard to start running without looking back. Things weren't as dark now, you could see well but you still were confused about things. Without actually having a clear idea of your whereabouts you kept running deeper into the forest but you couldn’t run in a straight line, you had to confuse him with which way you were running. Abruptly, you stopped to look around to see where you could run. The sudden movements made you lose your balance, stumble and fall down. You scraped your knees. Without checking your injuries, you got up to make a sudden bolt to your right.
Your own heavy footsteps were echoing each time your foot made contact with the wet mud. Or... no. Those weren't echoes of your own footsteps they were more like- They belonged to someone else-
“You’re running too slow.” A scoff.
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw him running next to you. He wasn’t out of breath like you were but he lifted his hand towards you, pointing his forefinger at your face before crossing his middle finger over the other digit.
He was going to call out his devil again.
With a sob, you made a move to change your direction but it was too late.
“Octopus.”
Black smoke appeared behind him. From the dark mist, a tentacle emerged, abruptly grabbing you by the waist, you flailed violently as soon as your body crashed onto the tentacle. It lifted you up, punching the air out of your lungs from the force of its grip around your body. You started hitting the tentacle’s slimy skin, crying and yelling at the same time. “Let me go, let go!”
Hirofumi pressed his hand on the tentacle and walked towards you while dragging his hand on it. “You’re more fun than I thought.”
As he was getting closer, you struggled within the tentacle’s hold by kicking helplessly at the air. “Get away from me!”
He stopped in front of you and looked up at you with that same disturbing smile before tapping on the tentacle twice. “I took a liking to you.” The tentacle lowered you down until Hirofumi tapped on it again to stop. “You’re quite interesting.”
The tentacle tightened its grip around you and forced your arms to be pressed against your chest. You were getting crushed, you kept trying to inhale but no air was going inside your lungs.
“However it still would be less of a hassle for me to take your corpse to Ms. Makima. You’re just too annoying.”
Fear came rushing back, the bitter reality of how insignificant your life was a harsh truth to accept. Hirofumi could kill you without batting an eye, he would be fine with taking your life because at the end of the day he was going to get paid for doing his job.
You opened your mouth to beg for his mercy but nothing would come out. Your face was turning blue from lack of air instead.
Hirofumi said something you couldn’t hear. Instantly the tentacle’s hold loosened around you. With the pressure gone,  you greedily inhaled air, filling up your lungs and coughing.
“I’ll make it quick,” he said, this time frowning instead of smiling. “What a shame though, I thought we’d be able to work together in the future.”
“W-wait!” you coughed, trying to catch your breath to talk to him. “No, no, no! Please, I’ll do anything. Please,  I won’t try to run again, I’ll sit patiently and- and-”
He was very quiet, almost silent, but resolute. The blood in your face drained away when you heard his cold and terrifying tone asking you a question with three simple words, “You’ll do anything?”
Your eyes widened as you tried to process the meaning behind his words, you could feel your blood being pumped through your veins but something was wrong, there was a heavy feeling of something crawling under your skin.
“I’ll do anything.”
That sinister smile returned to his face.
The tentacle lowered you, now, your feet could touch the solid ground.
“I want you to prove me wrong,” he said, stretching his arms above his head.
“Huh?” The tentacle unwrapped around you but remained at the back while you stared at the guy in front of you in confusion. “Prove what?”
He positioned himself in a fighting pose. “Prove that you’re a devil hunter worth keeping alive. Let’s duke it out.”
He had to be kidding. You were nothing without a weapon or your devil. It was unfair to you and-
Hirofumi landed a sudden kick on your stomach, doubling in pain, you took a couple of wobbly steps back.
When you glanced up at him, you saw him jumping in his place as if he was only warming up. He was taunting you, don’t fall for it.
Yet you knew he wasn’t kidding about you proving him that you were a good hunter. He had made it clear. So you had no choice but to take him down if you wanted to live.
You aimed a kick towards him but he caught you mid-air by your ankle. Whimpering, you tried pulling your leg back to no avail. The panic of the situation started to settle in as he got closer to you. “That’s cute, you didn’t even put any strength behind your kick.” He tucked your leg around his waist, closing the distance between the two of you. His face had gotten awfully close, his hot breath ghosted over your face. For the first time tonight, you looked at his eyes directly, his pupils were dilated to the point of being completely black. You could see your own terrified expression being reflected back to you in them. To put it simply, you were at his mercy once again, balanced only on a single leg with no way of escaping his hold.
“You lose,” he grinned. “You really aren’t cut out to be a devil hunter.”
“Please,” you began but he interrupted you, his other hand pressing on the small of your back and sliding down your curves to squeeze a generous amount of the supple flesh of your ass. Your breath hitched, the uneasy feeling of being powerless against a higher rank like him made your stomach churn in fear.
“Let’s have some fun before you die.” You could hear the smile in his voice.
With that, the tentacle returned, abruptly going under your shirt, pulling it up and over your head. You didn’t even get the time to react as Hirofumi let your leg down to shove you forward against the tentacle. Gasping, you planted your hands against the tentacle in a pathetic attempt to push yourself up but it was now impossible with his weight pressing you down. His hands were holding your hips in a death grip and rubbing your clothed ass onto his own clothed crotch. You were moving away from his hips helplessly, unaware of the tentacle pushing your bra up to let your tits bounce free. Only when the cool air hit your bare chest, you became aware of what the tentacle was doing. Your nipples perked up and the slimy skin caressing your skin made you flinch, the feeling of one of its suckers on your nipple was enough to make you shriek in disgust.
Hirofumi chuckled, his hands on your hips slid up, feeling your curves before dragging you against his clothed cock. He couldn’t help but grab your hair to pull it as he grinded against your ass with a little too much force. You could feel him growing bigger, he had to be a twisted creep to get off to this.
“Stop… no more…” Begging, you turned your head to look at him. With the way he was pressing you down, you couldn’t meet his gaze, instead found your cheek being pressed flat against the tentacle. Ignoring your pleads, Hirofumi pulled himself back to yank your pants down hurriedly as the tentacle latched one of the suckers on your nipple, toying with the sensitive nub. You started to breathe hard as the realization of how vulnerable you actually were hit you hard. All you could do was to pathetically attempt to get away from Hirofumi to be assaulted by the tentacle instead.
Then the loud sound of his belt buckling made you jolt, the tears and begging for him to stop came right after. You would do anything for him to stop. However your cries were ineffective, they didn’t stop him from pulling down your panties and drinking up the sight of your naked lower half. They only seemed to spur him on even more.
“Stop…” you whimpered and struggled. Tears started streaming down your face as a choked sob left your lips. He smiled against the skin on your shoulder in response while lining himself on your entrance. Twisting your arm behind your back to keep you still, he put his entire weight behind his hips to surge them forward and buried the entire length of his cock in your cunt.
Wincing, you gasped. Hirofumi took it as a signal to move. You were awfully wet, each time he pulled back himself to slam his hips forward, the squelching sounds of your pussy filled the silence of the forest. If that wasn't gross enough, your cheek was being grazed against the slimy skin of the tentacle, its fishy stench started to overwhelm you, making you gag.
“Ahh, you like this don’t you?” He tentatively pulled his hips back to abruptly slam them into your pussy.
“No…” You bit back a moan, closing your eyes and begging for all of it to stop internally.
“You’re getting off to this, you’re sopping wet.” Hirofumi mounted you completely, you could feel his entire weight settle on your back. “Be a good girl for me, will you? Be honest, it’s just the two of us here.”
You grumbled in response.
“Makima isn’t listening.” He nosed some hair out of his way to whisper in your ear. “Only I will hear your confessions. You can tell me anything, trust me.”
“Go to hell,” you hissed. If he was going to kill you, so be it! You weren’t going to give him the pleasure of humiliating you. All you had left was your pride and you were planning to keep it until the very end.
He slammed his hips forward, hitting your sweet spot on the first try. His firm thrust was all it took for you to silently scream, with the air in your lungs completely gone from the impact, you were clenching around his cock. You opened your mouth to take in some air but the tentacle wrapped around your neck, squeezing tightly around you to prevent you from breathing. The tip of the tentacle forced its way into your mouth and swirled around your tongue before diving deeper down into your throat. Hirofumi placed his hand on the tentacle, tapping twice for it to loosen around your neck. The tentacle left your mouth with a disgusting pop sound. Then he replaced the tentacle with his own hand, shoving his fingers into your mouth and grabbing you from the inside of your cheek.
Now, when he thrust forward and picked up his pace, you couldn’t bite back your moans. To your utter horror, it worked. Every thrust of his hips left you moaning, gasping for air. His merciless, rough thrusts remarkably sped up, especially in comparison to before. He was humping you like a rabid dog now and he responded to your surprised moan with a long, pleased hum.
Your drool started to spill out from your mouth and down to your chin since you didn’t have the luxury to swallow the saliva with three long digits prying your mouth open. You moaned audibly and threw your head back when his cock stroked a specific spot along your insides, Hirofumi took this opportunity to bite into your nape hard enough to draw blood, on a second note, you started to think he could be an actually rabid dog.
A scream left your lips, more out of pleasure than pain.
Hirofumi’s teeth sank deeper into your flesh as he felt your gummy walls pulsate around his cock, clenching and begging to be filled with his seed. He gave a muffled chuckle against your flesh, chewing on the raw skin. Although you weren’t honest in the slightest, your body was.
The tentacle’s tip went between your legs and the sucker latched onto your clit, catching you by surprise and making your entire body shake in pleasure.
How cute.
With a delighted smile, Hirofumi stopped biting your nape. He licked your blood off of your skin all the while he was fucking you frenziedly, thrusting in and out your pussy with sloppily wet sounds that started to make your knees unbuckle. Swallowing down your pride, you gave in to the pleasure so you could move your hips and arch your back to meet his frantic thrusts. At the same time, the tentacle toyed with the sensitive nub. It all made your legs trembled under you as your moans got louder than before.
Hirofumi's pace suddenly slackened when his cock throbbed upon your walls clamping on him. Taking his hand from your mouth, he placed it on your shoulder to grab you. He pulled his hips back and abruptly slammed forward, punching the air out of your lungs one last time as you felt the slight twitch of his balls on your skin before a pleasing warmth filled your belly.
The tentacle moved in tight circles around your clit and you clenched around Hirofumi’s cock for the last time, milking more of his seed using your pulsating walls inside of your cunt. Even after the tentacle left you alone, Hirofumi continued fucking his cum into your pussy, gross squelching sounds from his seed gushing out from your abused hole had become a white noise to you at this point. By the time he pulled out of you and let you go, your legs gave up from under you. Before you could crash on the dirty mud, the tentacle caught you, holding you up in a gentle grip.
Hirofumi was tucking himself into his pants while you watched him in exhaustion. He noticed your stare and gave you the same unsettling smile. “I think you’d be a great devil hunter if you were partnered up with me. Makima would agree if I said so. Won’t you agree too?”
You couldn’t keep your eyes open anymore but you managed to blink slowly in response, mouthing a ‘yes’ in defeat.
Hirofumi’s eerie smile grew wider, his eyes squinted from his cheeks puffing up. “I look forward to working with you in the future.”
The depths of the ocean had many things hidden at the bottom where sunlight never reached. Fish still yet to be discovered, monsters and devils.
Swimming in the ocean was something you could never do since the thought of never knowing what might be hiding underneath the dark waters was horrifying.
However, the terrifying creatures of the ocean could never get you as long as you stayed on the land.
Right?
~~~
Hitchhiking wasn’t as dangerous as you had anticipated. When you told your close friends that you would be making your way out of the city by hitchhiking, they warned you about the dangers of getting in the car with someone who might want to hurt you. No matter how much you tried to explain to them how you had to lay low and stay away from any public transportations to not get caught, they didn’t listen.
However you hadn’t listened to them either, that was why you were sitting on your luggage near the roadside. You were only a couple of towns away from the city but you still had a long way to travel.
It had taken you more than a dozen rides to get to here from where you had started. Normally it would take two hours by car to travel here but it took you eight hours to get where you were now.

With a long sigh, you redirected the light from your flashlight onto the map. Startled, you turned your head to the man who was talking to you. He looked around your age, he had black hair and a rather creepy smile tugging at his lips.
“Um, the countryside.”
“Oh, you’re all alone?” he asked.
You nodded to confirm. Then internally yelled at yourself for telling him that you were alone. He could be someone dangerous.
“I’m headed to the countryside too, want me to give you a ride?” He gestured towards a black car parked in front of the diner.
You would have taken his offer if it weren’t for the sinister smile on his face.
“Thank you but I wouldn’t want to be a burden.” You averted your gaze from him and shone the light back on the map.
“It’s dangerous to be out this late at night.” He put his hands in his pockets, shrugging slightly. “I wouldn’t be able to sleep knowing I didn’t take you to safety.” He gestured towards the parked car behind him once again. “I'll give you a ride, free of charge.”
He had cornered you, there was no reason for you to refuse his offer. You were still conflicted though, you would have turned him down if it wasn’t this late in the night. He didn’t look like the type of person to take no for an answer either. You couldn’t say no to his generous offer but you kept hesitating. If you were to find the perfect excuse maybe he would leave. However, you didn’t have any excuses.
Ugh!
Why were you even hesitating? You needed a ride and here was this guy, offering to take you away from the doomed city. You hit the jackpot!
“A-are you sure?”
“Come on, I was about to leave.”
“Ah, I can’t thank you enough.” Gathering the stuff you had with you and putting away the flashlight, you forced yourself to smile at him. “You saved me from waiting who knows how long for another ride.”
He didn’t say anything as he led the way towards his car. Opening the baggage, he let you put your luggage in the back and closed it. As you were walking around the car to open the door and sit on the back seat, the guy spoke before he hopped on the driver seat himself.
“I have stuff in the back, sit on the front.”
You stared inside through the window to see two large black bags on the backseats. Reluctantly, you reached to open the front door and climbed inside the car.
“So, where are you exactly headed?” He asked as he put on his seatbelt.
His question brought you out of your frantic thoughts. “Somewhere remote.”
“Hmm, so no specific destination? Don’t you have a family member who’s waiting for you? Where are you going to stay?”
You didn’t have anywhere to stay. At least not yet. Your plan was to find a motel and stay somewhere remote until people forgot about you.
Most importantly, it didn’t feel like he was asking these questions to start a conversation. You changed your mind, wanting to get out of the car.
You turned your head to tell him that but his unsettling stare left you speechless.
He asked a more particular question. “Do you have a specific address you want me to drop you off to?”
“I-in front of the first cheap motel we come across would be perfect.” You clutched on your small shoulder bag. You felt nervous when people stared at you for too long.
He hummed in acknowledgment as the car rolled forward.
“You seem to have a lot of luggage. Moving somewhere?” he spoke again, taking a turn and getting on the highway.
Your head jerked up, looking at him. “Um, uh.” You were hesitant to lie. “I’m just backpacking around the country.”
“Wouldn’t it be cheaper to bike instead of hitchhiking?” He wasn’t even facing you but you could tell he was smirking at your utter stupidity. “Or rather do it with a group?”
Although your throat felt dry, you didn’t dare to swallow. “Probably but I wanted to have a little adventure for myself, alone.”
“Don’t backpackers usually have a backpack and not a luggage?”
“I just have too many things I need with me.” Ahh, you were so bad at lying. Stop fidgeting with your fingers and looking around like that. He will notice. Just… change the subject. “A-anyway, I don’t think we introduced ourselves. I’m (name), what’s your name?”
“Hirofumi.” He grabbed the gear shift, changing it to a higher level and speeding up. You sank deeper into your seat and started to panic. Only then you realized you hadn’t put on your own seatbelt. While you were hurriedly trying to put it on, Hirofumi pressed on the cigarette lighter button. You hoped he wasn’t going to smoke inside the car but failed to notice how there weren't any cigarette tar stains on the interior of the car.
He took a sharp turn, you grunted but managed to put your seatbelt on. As you sat back in your seat, the first thing you noticed was that he was driving down towards a road leading towards the forest.
“Um, I think you took a wrong turn,” you said, bringing it up to his attention.
“It’s a shortcut.” He kept his eyes on the road that was only being illuminated by the headlights, everything else was dark, you had no idea what kind of shortcut he was taking.
There was this feeling of being in the middle of the ocean. You could feel something sinister was lingering in the deep dark water underneath you. Something was about to emerge and grab you by your ankle, pull you down, and drown you.
You knew how to swim.
However, could you swim if whatever thing was pulling you down turned out to be a lot stronger and scarier than anything you had ever faced?
Could you struggle when you were this weak?
Could you fight when you had nothing to fight with?
Without your weapons.
Without your badge.
Without your devil.
“You know, hitchhiking was a great idea,” he said, his fingers drumming on the steering wheel as he continued smiling. “It was a smart option but for someone as dumb as you, there was a way to ruin it. You went and told all of your dumb friends about your plan.”
You stared at him for some sort of explanation but you didn’t need any. Yet you still asked him, whimpering, “W-what are you talking about?” Your bottom lip had started trembling.
He knew.
“For a devil hunter, your sense of danger is too low.”
A tremendous wave of panic washed over you when he sped up.
“Who are you?” Did you even need to ask? He was one of those private hunters. Makima had most likely sent him after you.
Despite being a devil hunter from the city, you were now weak. You had resigned from your work without notice and broke the deal with your devil. Although it had been an impending decision rather than a sudden one, you had left your work abruptly.
After watching so many people die and losing who you had thought would be your friends for a long time, the bitter truth of being a devil hunter had resurfaced.
Devil hunters were destined to die on the job, sooner or later.
The money you earned from being a devil hunter could let you live in comfort materialistically until the day you died but having to suffer from nightmares every single time you put your head on the pillow or closed your eyes could never be comforting. It wasn’t worth it.
You didn’t want to lose more people or see any more grotesque devils murdering civilians but once you started working under Makima’s orders, leaving wasn’t that easy.
That’s why you were on the run.
Even though you had sworn to protect the people of your country, you were running away from the job that gave you a purpose to your insignificant life like a coward.
How childish.
The cigarette lighter popped off with a soft click sound, bringing you out of your hectic thoughts.
He was taking you back… He was going to hand you over to Makima. You were going to work until you died.
“You should’ve gone up north, going south was predictable. Well, at least if you hadn’t told your friends about the hitchhiking part, maybe you’d go under everyone’s radar. However you’re a chatty one, aren’t you? Some ‘friendship comes before work’ type of person, huh? That would explain a lot-”
Hirofumi’s words didn’t reach you anymore. The color drained from your face and your ears started ringing. Your whole body started to shake, and tears started streaming down your cheeks. “Please,” you sobbed, your voice came out shaky, pathetic. “Please don’t do this. I did nothing. I’m just tired of all of the deaths and I can’t handle it any-”
“You can’t talk your way out of this,” Hirofumi said as he took another sharp turn, driving deeper into the forest.
You found yourself stuttering, ”Y-you don’t understand.” You looked at Hirofumi with tears in your eyes. “I’ll be killed.”
“What are you so unhappy with?” Hirofumi spoke again but he wasn’t even facing you. “It’s not like you were living contentedly up until now, were you? In that case, it makes no difference where you live or what you do for a living. Or if you’re killed or not.”
Your face found a new shade of pale. He wouldn’t understand. He was one of those crazy devil hunters who had shut their humanity off.
“You only had to kill demons for a bit and you got rice every day. It might as well be heaven but I guess you weren’t a real hunter.” His smile grew wider as he was watching the trees creep towards him slowly before zooming past the window. “You can die in peace now.”
You got quiet but your tears didn’t stop.
With a vicious smile on his lips, Hirofumi turned away to face you. “You know, a pro devil hunter wouldn’t cry.”
Everything was spinning, it made you believe that your head felt fuzzy. It didn’t even occur to you that he was driving at a normal speed now. Almost immediately you tried to think of an escape plan. Could you manage to run away if you were taken to the headquarters? There was no way you could and that was why you had to fight with everything you had to refuse to go with him. You looked out of the window, the forest could be a great way to lose him. The trees and the darkness could cover you, giving you the advantage to sneak away without having to face this guy in a battle. What was your next move going to be?
You didn’t know but you had to get away.
You stared at the door lock, it was locked but you could lift it even without him noticing. The speed was still accelerating but if you managed to jump out of the car you would have a head start by running. The car wouldn’t stop until his shock wore off and that would give you the great advantage of looking for a place to hide.
There weren’t many people or devils out in the forest at this time of the night. Hopefully. It would be easy for you to run without being seen by another person who could tell him where you went.
What if a devil attacked-
Getting overwhelmed, you took a sharp breath and exhaled loudly. You had to calm down. You didn’t have much time to think over the plan, you just had to do it. If you waited for too long you were going to lose this chance of getting away.
Hesitantly, you glanced at Hirofumi. To your luck, he was only focused on driving.
Cone on. Come on. Come on.
Your heart was pounding, a single cold sweat droplet trickled down from the burning skin of your temple to your cheek as you carefully and suddenly unlocked the door. But you forgot about the most important thing. Your seatbelt. Your biggest mistake was forgetting to unbuckle your seatbelt. As you had twisted your body to jump out of the car, you had found yourself stuck, slammed back into your seat from the force of the seatbelt itself.
Hirofumi stared at you as if it wasn’t a big deal that you opened the door of the moving vehicle or how you were trying to escape. He lifted his right hand up while he crossed his middle and index fingers, “Octopus.”
Your blood ran cold as a giant tentacle emerged outside of the car from a dark cloud and slammed the door closed. You were frozen in your seat as if your muscles had dried up and turned to stone.
What was that?
No, you didn’t want to know.
The car decelerated until it slowly rolled to a stop.
You didn’t dare to look at Hirofumi but you knew he was smiling at you. You knew he had that sinister smile plastered on his face, glowering at you with his big dark eyes.
“Ink.”
He turned off the engine, the headlights flickered off and it became pitch black. Darker than black. It all swallowed you whole. It was as if light didn't exist, the only thing you could see was the dangerous glint in his eyes.
Hirofumi calmly plucked off the burning hot cigarette lighter and held his hand out towards you but you couldn't see. “Ms. Makima told me to bring you to the headquarters,” he said, pausing momentarily as you were trembling in fear, unable to move a muscle. “Dead or alive. I get paid either way.”
You gulped audibly. This was it, wasn’t it? The end.
There was another long pause before he sighed and pressed the cigarette lighter on your thigh. “Look me in the eye when I’m talking to you.”
The sharp pain made your eyes widen and your mouth popped open in pain. You could run away, you just had to unbuckle the seatbelt and bolt out of the car.
However, as soon as your hand went to the buckle to pop the latch plate out, he firmly pressed the metal lighter on the back of your hand.
Yowling in agony, you refused to retrieve your hand and instead unbuckled your seatbelt. Without giving him another chance to attack, you opened the door.
As soon as you fell on the mud, you took a couple of wobbly steps before finally gaining your strength and used the ground as a springboard to start running without looking back. Things weren't as dark now, you could see well but you still were confused about things. Without actually having a clear idea of your whereabouts you kept running deeper into the forest but you couldn’t run in a straight line, you had to confuse him with which way you were running. Abruptly, you stopped to look around to see where you could run. The sudden movements made you lose your balance, stumble and fall down. You scraped your knees. Without checking your injuries, you got up to make a sudden bolt to your right.
Your own heavy footsteps were echoing each time your foot made contact with the wet mud. Or... no. Those weren't echoes of your own footsteps they were more like- They belonged to someone else-
“You’re running too slow.” A scoff.
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw him running next to you. He wasn’t out of breath like you were but he lifted his hand towards you, pointing his forefinger at your face before crossing his middle finger over the other digit.
He was going to call out his devil again.
With a sob, you made a move to change your direction but it was too late.
“Octopus.”
Black smoke appeared behind him. From the dark mist, a tentacle emerged, abruptly grabbing you by the waist, you flailed violently as soon as your body crashed onto the tentacle. It lifted you up, punching the air out of your lungs from the force of its grip around your body. You started hitting the tentacle’s slimy skin, crying and yelling at the same time. “Let me go, let go!”
Hirofumi pressed his hand on the tentacle and walked towards you while dragging his hand on it. “You’re more fun than I thought.”
As he was getting closer, you struggled within the tentacle’s hold by kicking helplessly at the air. “Get away from me!”
He stopped in front of you and looked up at you with that same disturbing smile before tapping on the tentacle twice. “I took a liking to you.” The tentacle lowered you down until Hirofumi tapped on it again to stop. “You’re quite interesting.”
The tentacle tightened its grip around you and forced your arms to be pressed against your chest. You were getting crushed, you kept trying to inhale but no air was going inside your lungs.
“However it still would be less of a hassle for me to take your corpse to Ms. Makima. You’re just too annoying.”
Fear came rushing back, the bitter reality of how insignificant your life was a harsh truth to accept. Hirofumi could kill you without batting an eye, he would be fine with taking your life because at the end of the day he was going to get paid for doing his job.
You opened your mouth to beg for his mercy but nothing would come out. Your face was turning blue from lack of air instead.
Hirofumi said something you couldn’t hear. Instantly the tentacle’s hold loosened around you. With the pressure gone,  you greedily inhaled air, filling up your lungs and coughing.
“I’ll make it quick,” he said, this time frowning instead of smiling. “What a shame though, I thought we’d be able to work together in the future.”
“W-wait!” you coughed, trying to catch your breath to talk to him. “No, no, no! Please, I’ll do anything. Please,  I won’t try to run again, I’ll sit patiently and- and-”
He was very quiet, almost silent, but resolute. The blood in your face drained away when you heard his cold and terrifying tone asking you a question with three simple words, “You’ll do anything?”
Your eyes widened as you tried to process the meaning behind his words, you could feel your blood being pumped through your veins but something was wrong, there was a heavy feeling of something crawling under your skin.
“I’ll do anything.”
That sinister smile returned to his face.
The tentacle lowered you, now, your feet could touch the solid ground.
“I want you to prove me wrong,” he said, stretching his arms above his head.
“Huh?” The tentacle unwrapped around you but remained at the back while you stared at the guy in front of you in confusion. “Prove what?”
He positioned himself in a fighting pose. “Prove that you’re a devil hunter worth keeping alive. Let’s duke it out.”
He had to be kidding. You were nothing without a weapon or your devil. It was unfair to you and-
Hirofumi landed a sudden kick on your stomach, doubling in pain, you took a couple of wobbly steps back.
When you glanced up at him, you saw him jumping in his place as if he was only warming up. He was taunting you, don’t fall for it.
Yet you knew he wasn’t kidding about you proving him that you were a good hunter. He had made it clear. So you had no choice but to take him down if you wanted to live.
You aimed a kick towards him but he caught you mid-air by your ankle. Whimpering, you tried pulling your leg back to no avail. The panic of the situation started to settle in as he got closer to you. “That’s cute, you didn’t even put any strength behind your kick.” He tucked your leg around his waist, closing the distance between the two of you. His face had gotten awfully close, his hot breath ghosted over your face. For the first time tonight, you looked at his eyes directly, his pupils were dilated to the point of being completely black. You could see your own terrified expression being reflected back to you in them. To put it simply, you were at his mercy once again, balanced only on a single leg with no way of escaping his hold.
“You lose,” he grinned. “You really aren’t cut out to be a devil hunter.”
“Please,” you began but he interrupted you, his other hand pressing on the small of your back and sliding down your curves to squeeze a generous amount of the supple flesh of your ass. Your breath hitched, the uneasy feeling of being powerless against a higher rank like him made your stomach churn in fear.
“Let’s have some fun before you die.” You could hear the smile in his voice.
With that, the tentacle returned, abruptly going under your shirt, pulling it up and over your head. You didn’t even get the time to react as Hirofumi let your leg down to shove you forward against the tentacle. Gasping, you planted your hands against the tentacle in a pathetic attempt to push yourself up but it was now impossible with his weight pressing you down. His hands were holding your hips in a death grip and rubbing your clothed ass onto his own clothed crotch. You were moving away from his hips helplessly, unaware of the tentacle pushing your bra up to let your tits bounce free. Only when the cool air hit your bare chest, you became aware of what the tentacle was doing. Your nipples perked up and the slimy skin caressing your skin made you flinch, the feeling of one of its suckers on your nipple was enough to make you shriek in disgust.
Hirofumi chuckled, his hands on your hips slid up, feeling your curves before dragging you against his clothed cock. He couldn’t help but grab your hair to pull it as he grinded against your ass with a little too much force. You could feel him growing bigger, he had to be a twisted creep to get off to this.
“Stop… no more…” Begging, you turned your head to look at him. With the way he was pressing you down, you couldn’t meet his gaze, instead found your cheek being pressed flat against the tentacle. Ignoring your pleads, Hirofumi pulled himself back to yank your pants down hurriedly as the tentacle latched one of the suckers on your nipple, toying with the sensitive nub. You started to breathe hard as the realization of how vulnerable you actually were hit you hard. All you could do was to pathetically attempt to get away from Hirofumi to be assaulted by the tentacle instead.
Then the loud sound of his belt buckling made you jolt, the tears and begging for him to stop came right after. You would do anything for him to stop. However your cries were ineffective, they didn’t stop him from pulling down your panties and drinking up the sight of your naked lower half. They only seemed to spur him on even more.
“Stop…” you whimpered and struggled. Tears started streaming down your face as a choked sob left your lips. He smiled against the skin on your shoulder in response while lining himself on your entrance. Twisting your arm behind your back to keep you still, he put his entire weight behind his hips to surge them forward and buried the entire length of his cock in your cunt.
Wincing, you gasped. Hirofumi took it as a signal to move. You were awfully wet, each time he pulled back himself to slam his hips forward, the squelching sounds of your pussy filled the silence of the forest. If that wasn't gross enough, your cheek was being grazed against the slimy skin of the tentacle, its fishy stench started to overwhelm you, making you gag.
“Ahh, you like this don’t you?” He tentatively pulled his hips back to abruptly slam them into your pussy.
“No…” You bit back a moan, closing your eyes and begging for all of it to stop internally.
“You’re getting off to this, you’re sopping wet.” Hirofumi mounted you completely, you could feel his entire weight settle on your back. “Be a good girl for me, will you? Be honest, it’s just the two of us here.”
You grumbled in response.
“Makima isn’t listening.” He nosed some hair out of his way to whisper in your ear. “Only I will hear your confessions. You can tell me anything, trust me.”
“Go to hell,” you hissed. If he was going to kill you, so be it! You weren’t going to give him the pleasure of humiliating you. All you had left was your pride and you were planning to keep it until the very end.
He slammed his hips forward, hitting your sweet spot on the first try. His firm thrust was all it took for you to silently scream, with the air in your lungs completely gone from the impact, you were clenching around his cock. You opened your mouth to take in some air but the tentacle wrapped around your neck, squeezing tightly around you to prevent you from breathing. The tip of the tentacle forced its way into your mouth and swirled around your tongue before diving deeper down into your throat. Hirofumi placed his hand on the tentacle, tapping twice for it to loosen around your neck. The tentacle left your mouth with a disgusting pop sound. Then he replaced the tentacle with his own hand, shoving his fingers into your mouth and grabbing you from the inside of your cheek.
Now, when he thrust forward and picked up his pace, you couldn’t bite back your moans. To your utter horror, it worked. Every thrust of his hips left you moaning, gasping for air. His merciless, rough thrusts remarkably sped up, especially in comparison to before. He was humping you like a rabid dog now and he responded to your surprised moan with a long, pleased hum.
Your drool started to spill out from your mouth and down to your chin since you didn’t have the luxury to swallow the saliva with three long digits prying your mouth open. You moaned audibly and threw your head back when his cock stroked a specific spot along your insides, Hirofumi took this opportunity to bite into your nape hard enough to draw blood, on a second note, you started to think he could be an actually rabid dog.
A scream left your lips, more out of pleasure than pain.
Hirofumi’s teeth sank deeper into your flesh as he felt your gummy walls pulsate around his cock, clenching and begging to be filled with his seed. He gave a muffled chuckle against your flesh, chewing on the raw skin. Although you weren’t honest in the slightest, your body was.
The tentacle’s tip went between your legs and the sucker latched onto your clit, catching you by surprise and making your entire body shake in pleasure.
How cute.
With a delighted smile, Hirofumi stopped biting your nape. He licked your blood off of your skin all the while he was fucking you frenziedly, thrusting in and out your pussy with sloppily wet sounds that started to make your knees unbuckle. Swallowing down your pride, you gave in to the pleasure so you could move your hips and arch your back to meet his frantic thrusts. At the same time, the tentacle toyed with the sensitive nub. It all made your legs trembled under you as your moans got louder than before.
Hirofumi's pace suddenly slackened when his cock throbbed upon your walls clamping on him. Taking his hand from your mouth, he placed it on your shoulder to grab you. He pulled his hips back and abruptly slammed forward, punching the air out of your lungs one last time as you felt the slight twitch of his balls on your skin before a pleasing warmth filled your belly.
The tentacle moved in tight circles around your clit and you clenched around Hirofumi’s cock for the last time, milking more of his seed using your pulsating walls inside of your cunt. Even after the tentacle left you alone, Hirofumi continued fucking his cum into your pussy, gross squelching sounds from his seed gushing out from your abused hole had become a white noise to you at this point. By the time he pulled out of you and let you go, your legs gave up from under you. Before you could crash on the dirty mud, the tentacle caught you, holding you up in a gentle grip.
Hirofumi was tucking himself into his pants while you watched him in exhaustion. He noticed your stare and gave you the same unsettling smile. “I think you’d be a great devil hunter if you were partnered up with me. Makima would agree if I said so. Won’t you agree too?”
You couldn’t keep your eyes open anymore but you managed to blink slowly in response, mouthing a ‘yes’ in defeat.
Hirofumi’s eerie smile grew wider, his eyes squinted from his cheeks puffing up. “I look forward to working with you in the future.”
