!! MAJOR JRWI EPISODE 114 SPOILERS AHEAD !!

-

I just had a sick and twisted fucking thought about episode 114 and I need to share it to the world.

Okay, so Chip realises his mistake- trusting Gillion's clone and failing to see the red flags because, well it's Gill (I could go on a rant about this too)- Gillion's clone has pushed him to the ground and is towering over him. If Chip could bleed, his nose would probably be bloody.

And at this exact moment, where Chip can't use his magic to defend himself and his best-friend is threatening to kill him- we cut back to the real Gillion, who is running up these flights of stairs away from a monster that could literally breathe on him and end his life, he's on 1HP.

AND HERE'S THE THING. HERE'S WHAT I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT.

Destiny's Blade glows in Gillion's hands and whispers that, 'Chip is about to die.'

Gillion- with zero hesitation- goes running to find him and save his life.

THIS SCENE HAS SO MANY LAYERS TO IT- YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW, MAN- ISTG.

So, for starters, Chip is undead- he physically cannot die, or at least not very easily; I'm guessing that it would take an incredibly powerful, god like entity/bad guy to actually end his undead life now. And yet, Destiny's Blade says that he's about to die.

The blade itself was designed for slaying the undead and the evil entities Gillion himself was designed to fight against- but when it comes to Chip, there's nothing Gillion wouldn't do to protect him with this sword. And that reflects on Destiny's Blade, I would imagine- the blade supports Gillion's destiny, his fight for good.

And to add to this, I don't know if Chip actually could've been killed by clone Gillion- but the idea that he came close and that the sword instinctually reached out to save his life is just- WRAH.

It also highlights just how scared Chip was, because he couldn't fight the clone even if he wanted to, not only because of the magic barrier- but because it's Gill, his co-captain, his best-friend, his paladin (a pirate and his paladin I'm sorry- I love them sm lmao).

And yes, Gillion is known for taking ridiculous risks to keep his friends safe, willing to take every blow and keep fighting like it doesn't hurt because he's a knight, he was trained for this, this is what he's good at- but he runs to find Chip, ON 1HP. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH- THIS MAN WAS IN PIECES, HIS SKIN HAD BEEN TAKEN FROM HIM, AND IF NOT FOR THE DEATH WARD HE PROBABLY WOULD'VE DIED. But he runs off to find him anyway, no hesitation, no thought of his own well-being, only that Chip is in serious danger and he needs to save him. He won't let him die twice.

PRAYING THAT SOMEONE READS THROUGH THIS TANGENT TBH BECAUSE I'M GOING INSANE RIGHT NOW- I'M SORRY THIS IS SO LONG LMAO 😭🙏

Mentions of Aventurine being treated like an object, he takes advantage of your kindness, sharing a bed, Arguments where both sides say some things, angsty, discussion of having kids but he’s just lying (for now🤨)

-Aventurine x reader, after update thoughts-

So yeah from all the stuff we’ve seen from him I can still see him being a pretty bad partner…

He hides his true feelings for you most of the time because it’s how he protects himself from getting hurt. Probably doesn’t even want to commit to you at all so much as use you for a little while, just as his company and companion, he’ll entertain you for a bit until he starts getting attached.

He can’t afford to get attached to you. Well. More like he doesn’t WANT to get attached to you, but if he does decide he wants to keep you around a little longer he will put a bit of effort into it.

By that I mean buying you whatever you want, maybe even getting you a ring so you’ll stick with him for a while. Definitely a man who believes in buying love.

Despite his high emotional walls that he pretends doesn’t exist, there are a few ways to really get this man to melt for you.

For example if you genuinely think his eyes are pretty? If you don’t say things about his eyes just in an attempt to get under his skin? And that whole scene where Sparkle implied that Aventurine strips naked and gets on his knees to get his way?

Yeah honestly genuinely showing him respect will really leave an impact on him. He’s used to being treated as an object. So when you ask HIM what HE wants…it genuinely takes him by surprise. He literally doesn’t get it. You should be telling him what you want so he can get or do it for you. No one’s ever asked what HE wanted before.

Suddenly he’s REAL interested in keeping you close. I mean…you’re fascinating. You just…do nice things for him without expecting anything in return? Surely you’re too good to be true, but he’s not gonna let you go that easily now…

Does he take advantage of your kindness? A little bit…really not on purpose most of the time though. He’s just not used to it, and he has to admit he is curious to see how much he can get out of you. But I think he’ll realize that he’s taking advantage, and if he really does like you, he’ll try to tone it down.

He’s not a man who throws out Genuine ‘I love you’s often. Of course if you say it to him he’ll say it back, but that doesn’t make it genuine at all. He REALLY has to like you before he’d Actually genuinely tells you he loves you, and you can Tell that it’s different this time when he says it while he’s holding you in bed, thinking you’re asleep.

Something he has a problem with is when you try to express your concern over his bad habits…specifically the gambling problem. He doesn’t think it’s a problem at all, given his whole ‘I only bet if I know I’ll win’ attitude but gambling is STILL gambling and you don’t like seeing him like that, just so Addicted he can’t pull himself away from the tables at the casino, or so hooked that he stays up at night in bed gambling on his phone.

He insists it’s not a problem, that he’s NOT addicted, that he can quit if he wants to…he doesn’t Like arguing with you about it…but he will.

Yeah good luck getting him to give up on the gambling…it’s his first love, really. This man might even leave you over it if you push him enough about it.

Arguments can get REALLY bad-

It’s hard to visibly shake him when other people comment negatively on his Sigonian blood…but if you get angry enough at him, say something about his past, whether it’s something about the serial number or his eyes…yeah he takes that personally, because it’s you. He thought he could trust you and now you’re looking at him like everyone else does.

He’ll say some really hurtful things to you in turn, and you can bet he won’t be apologizing first.

He’s probably sleeping on the couch that night, if he stays in the home at all. He might just…leave and spend the night at a hotel instead. He wants YOU to be the one to beg him to come back and forgive you.

He might eventually slink back home on his own, either pretending nothing is wrong, or giving you the cold shoulder.

Of course you feel terrible about it. You didn’t mean to hurt him, of course not…but he also said some really terrible things to you in turn so…you’re hesitant to just plead with him to forgive you.

I’m sure he’ll eventually get tired of being angry with you though, especially when he starts wanting something from you or if he doesn’t want to go to the casino alone.

Once he’s cooled off enough then yeah he’ll let you make it up to him with a make-up hug and kiss.

Also this man is Very into PDA. Can’t keep his hands OFF of you when you’re in public. He’s either holding your hand, or his hand is on the small of your back, or he’s got an arm draped over your shoulder…seriously he does NOT leave any room for doubt that you’re with him.

He’s got No problem putting his lips on you in a public setting. Whether it’s on the back of your neck, or the knuckles on your hand, or your cheek, or your lips.

He doesn’t even Care about his reputation when you’re involved, haha…

Also this man definitely bites you playfully, haha…you’re expecting a kiss and suddenly there are TEETH INVOLVED! AVENTURINE!!? >:(

Aventurine who has you light his cigarette.

Also his HANDS are so attractive?? He’ll perform all sorts of little card and coin tricks for you, just so you can look at his attractive hands…

And when he does take off his gloves for you?? Yeah the man takes good care of his hands, partly because his darling partner adores them. I bet you could convince him to let you paint his nails, as long as you do a good job…

He thinks it’s VERY cute when you wear his clothes, whether it’s something little like wearing his sunglasses or his hat…or straight up wearing one of his shirts or his jacket or something. He’s pretty average sized himself haha so you’ll probably fit pretty well into his clothes…you guys can share outfits, though I do think it’d be hard to convince him to wear something of yours unless it was stupidly expensive.

Absolutely a man who buys you clothes with the intent of stealing them later for himself-

You’ll be looking in your closet for something only to be all: “Aventurine! Have you seen my-” only to turn around and see him wearing it….sigh…

Oh my gosh now I’m having thoughts about Aventurine meeting your parents…there are Mixed feelings. Yeah. He wants to keep you so he’s not above just straight up lying to them to make himself look better. Very vague or just…lies about his job. Definitely doesn’t mention the gambling addiction. Oh, they want grandkids? Sure he’ll Happily tell them that he can’t WAIT to have a kid with you-

Meanwhile you’re listening to him talk about that sort of stuff like ???? The way your man lies SO easily to your parents should really make you a little bit concerned-

So overall he makes a decent impression but they don’t like the way he dresses himself…but yeah his scheme to get your parents to like him works well enough!

To be honest if Aventurine really does want to have you he’ll marry you regardless of whether or not he gets your parents’ blessing, but if it really matters to you then FINE he’ll try.

i’m procrastinating studying for my finals & ive been on marauders & aftg tiktok for too long so here it is: my take on the aftg characters as taylor swift songs

- neil: you’re on your own kid (the neil josten anthem, especially the bridge), getaway car (I SWEAR IM NOT TRYING TO BE FUNNY), snow on the beach (tbh i always see this as an andreil song, but it’s just like: neil had never expected to fall for andrew or even trust him in the beginning, so the fact that they’re even falling? fucking weird. also, the line, “you wanting me, tonight, feels impossible” like the idea of someone wanting to touch him without wanting to hurt him ahshajsgs)

- andrew: daylight (just listen), anti-hero (this could very well apply to all the foxes, but the line, “i wake up screaming from dreaming // one day i’ll watch as you’re leaving // cause you got tired of my scheming” seems to be his perspective on nearly all of his relationships), evermore (for me, this song is largely about depression and, tbh, i’ve been reading too many andrew character studies lately, and “that this pain would be for evermore” hurts SO bad when you’re thinking about him. then the song develops, and ends with, maybe this pain isn’t forever. im gonna write a fic on this i swear.)

this man is my soulmate, im fucking convinced. HES INTO ART, POETRY (to be more specific, EGDAR ALLAN POE AND SEAMUS HEANEY LIKE???) AND MOUNTAINS??? (also why did i believe he was an only child😭) how much more husband can one get. we alr knew he’s a gift giver and great cook and now this??? im losing it

also, ive seen people compare him to cumberbatch and now knowing that he was one of his earliest inspirations after seeing hamlet, im so proud of him for being on par with one of the finest people in the industry. one of my fav parts of this interview has to be how excited cam gets when hes talking abt theatre and acting. it feels like hes in his element. u can feel just how much he loves this not because its his job, but because its an art form.

yo, having 6k in chapter 3 is amazing. good for you!

my first playthrough i got the white arabian and i named her Lemoyne Tree as a tribute to the state of Lemoyne and my favorite post malone song Lemon Tree. But she always got super dirty so i then went to the lake next to Strawberry and tamed the red chestnut arabian. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that one, she's gorgeous and arthur always gets that one when i play it. my beautiful baby girl Diablo <3

also yes. heckin FUCK MICAH BELL. even from the beginning he's been a slime ball. hate that man <3

i won't go too far, but just keep yourself high honor towards the end of the game. you need that to be your first ending. :')

Charles deserves the absolute world. just listening to him speak and hanging out with him at camp, and the missions you continue on to do with him throughout the game are so much fun. charles is someone i wish i could have in my real life because he seems like he would be the best person to speak to and hang out with. he is so lovely and down to earth. even arthur says it a couple times throughout the game. charles gets a good ending i promise.

my top blorbos are Arthur, Dutch, Charles, Hosea, and Josiah Trelawny my absolute beloved <33333 just wait until you go on the mission with Charles to find trelawny. one of my favorite missions ever ever ever ever!!

for the event im picking toji bcus that man is the love of my life bye ☹️ the epitome of sunshine and sunshine protector - tiny human and big scary guard dog ! in terms of our compatibility, we're so opposite it's insane! but we balance each other out well. sometimes i have to serve as toji's brain bcus this man is spending money he does not have on all sorts of things for me js cause i looked twice (my sister hced that he'd go below bankrupt buying me sanrio plushies and rings) he works mostly off instinct where i go completely off emotion so we butt heads alot in terms of decision making but he does not know how to tell me no, all i do is sigh once and HES DONE FOR.

i stress this man out like hes my full time babysitter pls

we acc spend alot of time having deep talks about the world and life in general, (i told him ab the backrooms lore and it messed w his head for weeks) which is a side of him he rarely shows to anyone (also he listens to me rant abt daily pop culture developments bcus he lowkey loves the celebrity drama) he's rlly protective, and even moreso bcus of how my anxiety gets. in a crowd this man is standing in front of me and blocking my view of everyone (he also subconsciously pulls me into his side when we're walking in public bcus my autistic ass will see one thing and wander off never to be found again) im always talking like talk talk talking and he pretends he isn't listening but he's literally able to repeat today something i mentioned two weeks ago - he's attentive, shows his love through actions rather than words. if i even make a face that gives away that im uncomfortable being somewhere, or my social battery is dead, hes taking me home no questions asked not a care as to who says what.

im an affection junkie - physical touch is my thing ! and hes so big! so im always pouncing on him for bear hugs and he acts so unimpressed and cocky abt it like "oh you missed me? im not goin anywhere relax" but he acc melts bcus when was the last time someone gave him affection?? he prob thinks im a figment of his imagination lolol

days off / dates would mainly be : window shopping, grocery runs, sitting in the park at sunset, indoor ramen dates n movie marathons and cuddles !!

being with toji is not always as seamless or easy as you make it look. He's gruff and protective and difficult and incredibly stubborn. like that time you two fought because he was ignoring what you were saying and he flat-out refused to acknowledge your demand when you called him out on it. to be fair, he'd come home after an eight-hour shift and you'd started talking his head off, but it wouldn't kill him to listen. he wasn't paying attention when you were talking about that new hello kitty cafe with the fun milkshakes and the mini donuts that you wanted to try. hell, he ended up falling asleep on your shoulder after brushing off your argument and as much as you wanted to remain angry at him, you'd softened immediately upon seeing his tired face, all eyebags and troubled frown. and he did make it up to you later by taking you to said cafe and proving that he had been listening, though when you brought it up to him, he pretended not to know what you were talking about. but deep down he cares for you and he's trying — you know he's trying and you don't want to make him feel bad for things he can't control. a lot of the concerns you should bring up to him, you don't — you want this relationship to be easy and safe. you want him to feel comfortable with you the same way that you feel comfortable with him. even if sometimes he comes home with a busted lip and bloody knuckles and sends your heart skidding against your ribcage. but what matters is that he comes to you first and he comes home to you. so you know that no matter what, no matter how he's feeling, if he thinks he can talk to you or not, he'll always come home to you. and even if you doubt his commitment sometimes, he knows that you're home to him and he'll do anything to keep it that way.
