Inuyasha has a life plan that is viciously, cheerfully and quickly dismantled the moment he becomes temporary roommates with one Kagome Higurashi. Unsurprisingly, this is all Miroku's fault.

Time to wax poetic and ramble about my OC nonsense for five-plus paragraphs again! Remember, none of this is related to RP; I'll be talking about the FanFiction version of Amaterasu! The version of her I roleplay with is a separate thing! The last thing I want is other Inuyasha RPers avoiding me because they think I'll only RP exclusively with Sesshōmaru RPers! >< I'm happy to interact with anyone! ♥️

Sesshōmaru is one of my oldest childhood crushed ever; Inuyasha was such a big part of my childhood because my family had the complete collection of DVDs, so it just makes too much sense I'd end up having an OC shipping with him as an adult. He's such a beautiful character, for one; I am cripplingly weak to guys with long hair. However, he's also so mysterious without being like... super edgy and broody, like this ethereal ghost with his own goal separate from literally everyone. Just flying around, doing his own thing, kicking ass, and looking fabulous doing it.

For me, making an OC for a pairing is the best excuse to get super OCD and channel my autistic brain into hours upon hours of studying a canon character—in this case, studying Sesshōmaru. People just fascinate me. Well... specifically, fictional people fascinate me. Real people are scary. However, when I was conceptualizing Amaterasu—this was long before I'd named her and settled on making her the Shinto Kami of the Sun—I couldn't for the life of me think of what would make good chemistry with such a complex character as him.

Sesshōmaru has so much subtlety to him that it's hard to tell what he's thinking or feeling, even with context clues. As I got older, though, it hit me. If Sesshōmaru is mysterious and powerful, the best counterpart would be someone equally powerful... but more open! (Note: I've never read the Manga, and this was before I'd seen The Final Act, and waaay before Yashahime was a thing... so I had no idea SesshRin was gonna be a canon thing. XD)

...Then my sadist brain had a Metal Gear Solid alert sound effect moment, lol. What if I made her a Kami, thus an opposite to him, and ran with a Romeo and Juliet-esque situation where they can never be happy together in the end? I thought I was being so clever back then, lol.

From there, I was like a woman possessed, writing about ten pages of headcanons, situations, etc., daily for a week. (Unfortunately, it was all on paper, and those old notes have been lost to time... very sad.) I not only wrote about potential interactions between Amaterasu and Sesshōmaru but also possible interactions and dynamics she might (in my FanFic, this doesn't = my expectations for people I RP with) have with other canon characters like Inuyasha, Kagome, Kikyō, Koga, Miroku, Sango, etc..

It was one of those magical moments where this fictional person you've made up in your head just comes alive, y'know? I love Amaterasu so much; I love that she's physically, mentally, and spiritually powerful. In many ways, despite seeming like such a calm, carefree queen, she wears her heart on her sleeve with her actions. I relate a lot to her perfectionism and always trying to be someone worthy. It was also entertaining to dive into the psychology of what it's probably like to be someone like Amaterasu... she was born in the highest position there is; she is the personification sun that keeps the world alive, and in Shinto, she's depicted as the mother of Japan (Grandmother to the first ever Emporer) and the most respected woman in the land. She's a god, but I imagine the way she thinks would be very human since the Shinto's depictions of their "gods," the kami, are very different from how modern religions depict gods.

The Kami are spirits of nature itself; they have enormous personalities to explain away why certain things happen, much like the Greek Pantheon. Yet, in my research, the Shinto Kami feel closer to humans than the Greek Gods because the Olympians stay on Olympus 90% of the time while Kami live and breathe their duty, their element. So I write Amaterasu as a figure of strength, warmth, and tenacity with a flaring temper she tries to manage so others don't get hurt. She admires other women who show inner strength and fight with their own hands, but she doesn't scrutinize women who are content to be passive or meek, either. She's protective of humans because she sees them all as her children and wants them to live long, fulfilling lives on whatever path they choose for themselves.

Throughout her story, Amaterasu tries so hard to do her best at everything she does, not just tunnel-visioning on defeating Naraku (her main objective and only ticket home) but stopping to help anyone in trouble or need, even if it might slow her down or delay her from reaching that big goal she's after. It's probably part of her I admire most; she's a good samaritan even if it's "beneath her," or "doesn't benefit her," or could even "hinder her" in some way.

She's an ideal I wish my cynical ass could be, lol.

Ships;

Going over the common ships for my muses and how I feel about them personally. Note: things can typically change with an individual portrayal, but these are my impressions from canon and how they relate to my portrayal. They are in random order...

Zuko

Zutara: I hate it. Sure, Zuko is easy and will be with just about anyone who likes him, but I just find this ship grosses me out in a way I can't articulate well. It feels disrespectful to Katara's feelings for Aang and I really like them.

Zuko/Mei: it was stupid when it happened and I'm glad they broke up.

Zuko/Jet: OTP

Zuko/Sokka: maybe maybe maybe

Zutoph: she seems young compared to him? Regardless of actual age, I don't really see it.

My fav ship for Zuko is a random crossover ship I write with my wife and it's with Elsa from "Frozen."

Sessomaru

S*ssr*n: big no.

S*ssinu: wtf no. Block me.

Sesskik: fucking no. Block me. Sesskag is the same level of ick.

Sesskagu: viable, but Kagura deserves better.

Sessomaru/Naraku: maybe maybe maybe.

My favorite ship for Sessomaru is no ship. Maybe a queer platonic partnership with SOMEBODY. A crossover or OC could work, but please keep in mind he is not interested in sex.

Anakin

Anidala: his queen, his BAE. OTP, even if they're so toxic I don't care I love them.

Obikin: get the fuck out. NOTP. Let them be complicated and platonic. I HC they are ridiculously intimate, but with zero sex or sexual energy. They shower together in a single stall and shave each other, but they don't see each other sexually and I will not write anything simple with them I refuse.

Anisoka: NO.

Vader/Sidious: now if you want a fucked up master apprentice ship, this is the one. Maximum bad vibes.

Anakin could have any kind of random romance with most people, so I won't list them all out individually. But Aayla comes to mind as someone he could have been close to and possibly had an experimental phase with. /Shrug.

Inuyasha

Inukag: I have mixed feelings about what we see in canon, but overall, I like them. Idk if I would wanna write this ship or not, it greatly depends on the Kagome.

Inukik: basically the same feeling as Inukag.

Inuyasha/Koga: top tier possibilities.

Inumir: maybe maybe maybe.

Inuyasha is also someone who could end up with just about anyone. I personally hate the whole soulmates crap, as it ends up feeling cheap and lazy and lacking in autonomy.

Zelink: OTP

Link/Ganon: it could work in the right circumstances.

Link/Zelda/Ganon: OT3

Link/Mipha: sorry but no... They have no chemistry and Mipha has no character... I'll still give it a maybe though because individual portrayals may change my mind.

Link/Sidon: It just doesn't feel fair to Sidon. Link will break his heart.

It's very difficult to ship with Link. He hardly ever lets people in. You need to build up so much trust and communication with him and build up to it for maybe years or through different lifetimes idk. He also isn't interested in sex, so there is no seducing him. You have to win his heart.

Vash

Vashwood: OTP OTP!!!

Vashmeryl: GTFO. platonic love only. I viscerally hate this ship and no amount of canon divergence is gonna change how I feel.

Plantcest: NO GTFO. I don't have an issue with Knives taking advantage of Vash, but that's what it is. Vash could NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS be happy, comfortable, or satisfied with this and I hate to see abuse played as romance. Abuse as abuse, I have no issues with.

Vash/Frank Marlo: tbh that one episode in the 98 Trigun awakened this ship and I really like it a lot.

Vash is not easy to actually get close to, even though he is horny all the time and wants to have relationships more than anything, his fear keeps him away. He will come onto anyone relentlessly and then back out at the last minute.

Livio

Livio is aroace and only into platonic vibes.

Wolfwood is his best friend. He loves him.

Vash is someone he cares about, but can't really hang around easily.

These are both at the ideas stage so I have a page full of random bullet points for each of them, but not much actual writing.

Check Mate is a modern AU.

Inuyasha is a professional chess player, and Kagome is a retail worker of some description, and they meet at one of those huge moveable chess sets at a park. She goads him into playing with her, and chats the entire time while they're playing. He's both irritated and intrigued by this person that is going out of her way to speak to him. She mentions that she's always wanted to travel and he lists off all the places he's been like a shopping list and she's in awe, and excitedly asks him about different monuments and museums. He scoffs and says 'no, why would I?' and she's aghast. Somehow she convinces him to send her postcards and he has to write to her about at least one beautiful place other than the hotel he stays in or the room where the chess tournament is being held. He sends a series of postcards from all over the world. At first they're short and sarcastic, like 'it's a beach. There was sand and shitty seagulls. Are you happy?' And then gradually he's more descriptive about things, like he's really trying to describe them for her. And they meet for coffee when he's back in her city and eventually they go back to her apartment and she's got every postcard up on the wall pinned to a world map so she can see where he's been. It will probably be a long one-shot. There's two things that still need more research before I write this - one, I don't play chess, so I need to give myself a basic understanding of it first and two, Inu in this has ASD, and I want to be sure that I am respectful and careful with how he's shown, and how he reacts to the world around him.

Drag Me To Hell is a comedy of sorts, modern AU.

Inu and Miroku are undercover cops working on an assault case. Someone is targeting drag queens, and the level of violence is increasing.

They're entered in a major pageant. Kagura is in on it, she's in charge of the competition. Kagome is stage manager, Shippou is special effects technician, Sango is make up, Kouga is security.

They have to be good enough to make it into the finals, because they're thinking that is when the next assault will take place, based on previous attacks.

Miroku charms his way in - he ends up actually realising he likes wearing ladies clothes, not all the time, but at home. He's not sure what to think about this, because he still feels 100% straight.

Inuyasha is not into that at all, but because he's already a good dancer, he really loves doing the routines. And he can't help flirting with Kagome when he's up on stage. And Kagome isn't sure what to make of it, because she's assumed he's gay.

Kagome asking Kagura - is insert Inu drag name gay? Because I don't know, it feels like she's flirting with me. Kagura - oh no, she's a 100% gay queen. Kagome.... damn.

This has been sitting in my wips folder for two years. And my main block to working on it is that I can't decide if they're all human or a mixture of human/youkai. Both would have pros and cons. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.

Oh my god.

First off: I love this.

SECOND.

I love this.

I love when my fandoms collide.

I’ve been sitting on this for a couple days cuz I wanted to really get it right, and I think I’ve got it nailed down. So without further ado, let’s get started.

First, the Lady Bug and the Black Cat.

The easy answer is to say Inuyasha and Kagome, but I say NAY!! Give them to Sango and Miroku!!

The special power up of the Black Cat is Cataclysm, which utterly destroys whatever you touch with it. I feel like this echoes Miroku’s wind tunnel, and he’d be really responsible with it. Also, he’d be insufferable in black leather, and he and Plagg would constantly be in trouble. Sounds like a good time to me.

The special ability of the Lady Bug is Lucky Charm, which grants the user one special object magically conjured to solve whatever problem you’re currently in. I feel like this is suited to Sango, since she has so many cool slayer gadgets she’s always using.

Now onto Inuyasha and Kagome!

For Inuyasha: the Snake.

For Kagome: the Rabbit.

These two particular Miraculous come with time bending abilities, and since Inuyasha and Kagome are the only two characters given time travel privileges, then they’re the ones to be trusted with further time powers.

Kikyo gets the Bee. Because let’s be honest, she’s got real Queen Bee energy that none of us can deny. That’s it, that’s the only reason.

Next, Naraku gets the Moth. Not because it’s already being used by a villain (and Nooroo certainly deserves to have a nice wielder after everything), but because the Moth’s special power is temporarily granting any random person super powers. And what is Naraku always doing? Making minions to do his bidding.

Kagura gets the Peacock. In addition to parallel feather and fan motifs, the Peacock makes something called a sentimonster, which is…. Kind of what Kagura is. So I feel like she’ll operate with a measure of compassion. These are real creatures she’ll be making, and Naraku will be completely indifferent if not cruel. But Kagura will understand.

And best for last: Sesshomaru gets the tiger. Roaar is a similar magenta color to Sesshomaru’s facial markings, so the color scheme would kick all the ass in the world. Also… the special ability of the Tiger is a really powerful punch. And I think it’s fucking hysterical how often Sesshomaru just punches Inuyasha right in the face.

InuSan or SessSan and why? Go!

I was not prepared for this one! 🤣🤣🤣

SessSan all the way! But I can't deny that InuSan doesn't make me go 👀👀👀.

InuKag is way too precious to me, and most of the time I find it hard to ship Inuyasha and Kagome with anyone else but each other. But if I had to ship Inuyasha with anyone else besides Kagome it would indeed be Sango. They could easily bond over their passion for fighting and combat, and I can see them spending long hours training together. Throughout the series they formed a strong friendship, and who knows, during the heat of fighting practice, I could envision a little somethin' somethin' going on between those two. I may have a little headcanon going on that Sango had a crush on Inuyasha throughout the story, and had Kagome not returned to the Feudal Era, they would have grown closer and eventually fallen in love. I offer you this link of an InuSan moment/comic I found a looong time ago that sparked my interest in InuSan. FYI, It does depict Inuyasha and Sango having a moment while they're already with Kagome and Miroku, respectively. Just giving a heads up in case that situation makes anyone uncomfortable. Also, my brother was working on translating the comic for me. He forgot, but this was my reminder to remind him to finish it.

I definitely prefer SessSan, though. Even though Sesshomaru isn't at the top of my favorite characters list, I have so much fun shipping him with everyone looool, especially Sango. Iirc, it was a fanart of the pair that sparked my interest in them. They just look so good together! But as I started formulating headcanons for how their interest in each other and their relationship would start, I realized that they have one very important thing in common - Kohaku. At one point Sesshomaru spared Kohaku's life and later in the story Sesshomaru becomes his protector. I like to headcanon that in seeking out her brother time and time again to try to reestablish their connection and help Kohaku regain his memories and heal from his trauma, Sango would inevitably run into Sesshomaru time and time again. Sorry, a lot of this is just headcanon, so I apologize for the rambling, but this pair just gets me so excited! I imagine that Sango would visit Kohaku regularly, and with time Sango would gain Sesshomaru's trust, respect, and admiration.

We all know that Sesshomaru is worse than scum for everything he did to Inuyasha, but I think that in watching Sango go above and beyond to save Kohaku and help him heal, while also seeing how strong, powerful, brave, and optimistic Sango is in the face of all of the tragedy she's experienced, Sesshomaru would at least witness how powerful a sibling bond can be and that might move something inside of him. I'm notorious, at least in my own eyes lol, for attributing emotions to Sesshomaru that seem unrealistic for him to develop (but I believe, dammit), but I sincerely think that Sango and Kohaku's relationship might move him to at least recognize that he was cruel to Inuyasha and maybe (strong strong strong emphasis on "maybe") even ask him for forgiveness. I don't imagine them ever being as close as Sango and Kohaku, but I think there is a possibility that they could grow to tolerate each other better and even become allies.

Also, what's not to freakin' love about Sango??? She's strong. She's smart. She's profound. She's beautiful. She's a QUEEN BAMF. I also enjoy the headcanon that when Sango first encounters Sesshomaru in her attempt to make contact with Kohaku, she kicks his ass and hands it to him. This boy would fall head over heels for her, and I have already made plans to have my funeral on this hill.

In conclusion, Sango and Sesshomaru would make a badass couple. There's emotion, passion, romance, tenderness, angst, conflict, tension, and drama in that story and you bet your bottom I am on the case and have SessSan fics in the works to address it all. Cause I mean, what about Miroku, amIright? And Sango's a demon slayer while Sess is a demon *eyebrow wag*. THE POTENTIAL ANGST AND INTERNAL CONFLICT IS DELICIOUS.

So, yeah, if I had to choose, I'd choose SessSan.

I saw this and thought of you, too~! Merry Xmas!! . ~Kagome" . Inside the box was an elegant Turkish teacup~ curved ever so slightly in an hourglass shape, the glass tinted purple, with gold trim on its rim and a hand-painted picture of flowers on its side~!:

The mischievous wind spirit couldn't help itself upon seeing the present atop Anna's window sill. With a loud whistle, it had swept up the gift and burst into the bedroom, the Queen gasping loudly in utter surprise.

"Gale! What have I told you about scaring people like that. You can't just-"

Anna's words were cut short as her gaze settled onto the gift, raising a curious brow as the wind gently set the object into the Queen's hands.

Carefully reading the note, a smile spread across Anna's lips, her heart instantly warming with joy and appreciation that Kagome would think to give her something in return. She eagerly opened the box, revealing the delicate and beautiful teacup, greatly admiring the craftsmanship and attention to detail. "Aww I love it!!! Better only use it for special occasions though. Don't want anything to happen to it.", Anna exclaimed, knowing well that despite her own clumsiness, Olaf was just as bad and his curiosity would certainly get the better of him if he saw the present.

"Merry Christmas, Kagome."

Can you give me a list of the smuttiest InuKag fics you can think of? It’s, uh, for my friend. 😏

OOOOOH anon you have no idea how excited I was to see this ask in my inbox!! We are truly blessed in this fandom with soooo many talented smut writers, and I feel like I still haven't even read enough to be qualified to give a complete answer, but I will do my best with what I've read so far!

P.S. There are so many stories I adore that have AMAZING smut, but since you specifically asked for the smuttiest, I'm only going to include stories where sex is the main focus of the story. Also, so as to not make this too long, I tried to limit myself to only 5 stories per category, and only one per author (with one exception).

PWP One Shots/Quick Reads (<10k word stories focused almost entirely on the sex)

Lesson by @akitokihojo - (AU. Light BDSM) Akitoki's summary: "After a long night out, tensions begin to build. Kagome gets herself into a little trouble with Inuyasha, and Inuyasha is more than happy to teach her right from wrong." Listen...this fic changed my life. I actually had little to no interest in smut before joining this fandom, but then I decided to read this and it was SO HOT that it unlocked a slutty side of myself I wasn't even aware I had. I have been having SO much fun reading/writing all kinds of smut ever since, and it is in part thanks to this fic!

The One With the Fantasy Type Thing by @shinidamachu - (Canon) Inuyasha and Kagome share their sexual fantasies with each other (and then act on them, of course😏). Words can't describe how much I love this. Sid's writing is phenomenal and I can 100% see this happening in a post-canon world. 100/10 HOT AF 🔥

Heavy Petting by @intoevernightfanfic - (Canon) Kagome discovers that Inuyasha's ears are an erogenous zone. This story was nominated for FC a few quarters back, and I remember being blown away when I read it because of how well written and in-character everything is, and of course how incredible the smut is!

Make Me by @keichanz - (AU) It's extremely hard to pick just one of Heather's stories, because she has SO MANY amazingly smutty fics (she's called the Smut Queen for a reason!!). This is just the most recent one I'd bookmarked, and it is (as usual) stunningly written and sexy as all fuck. But be sure to check out her other NSFW InuKag stories because there is SO much gold there!

Underneath It All by @superpixie42 - (AU) A wonderfully fun and sexy story that also features some incredible NSFW art by @kalcia!! Pixie has a way with words that is just so freaking enjoyable and makes me smile every time I read one of her fics. You'll also definitely be fanning yourself after this one! Again, be sure to check out her other NSFW InuKag stories as well. You won't regret it 😉

There are sooo many PWP one shots out there, and I feel bad because I know I'm leaving some incredible ones out, but I have to stop somewhere. I do need to give a quick shoutout to @lavendertwilight89 though, who has so many fantastic PWP (some with plot) InuKag stories that it was impossible to choose! I Do(n't) by @ninmenkaspeaches - (AU) AHH I love this story!! Not only does it have an amazing plot (best friends to lovers ONE OF MY FAVS), but there is a sexy undercurrent throughout (including Inuyasha's ✨secret occupation✨) and of course some wonderful smut! This author also has a few other smutty InuKag stories which you'll definitely want to check out 😏

Thirst Impressions by @fandomobsessions016 - (College AU) I finally read this the other day and now I am wholeheartedly OBSESSED with this story. The writing is flawless and there's so much fun flirting and sexual tension buildup between Inuyasha and Kagome that progresses so enjoyably and has a very satisfying conclusion 😏. Plus the entire premise is Kagome finding Inuyasha to be ridiculously attractive, which, I mean...same.

Three's Company by @anisaanisa - (AU. Poly InuKagSan at first) If you like the idea of adding Sango into the mix with InuKag (TANDEM👏🏻BLOWJOB👏🏻) then you'll definitely enjoy this story (with endgame InuKag!). The perfect mix of porn and plot, sweet and sexy, this is such an enjoyable read from start to finish. Also be sure to read the follow-up Two for the Show for more glorious InuKag porn that is just 🔥🔥🔥

The Right Wrong Number by @neutronstarchild - (AU) Kagome accidentally texts a random number (which just so happens to be Inuyasha's) a picture of herself in a bikini that was meant for her ex. I said I was going to limit myself to one story per author, but I had to make an exception here because a list of the smuttiest fics just wouldn't be complete without this story!! I'd had this on my Marked for Later for a while, and made a point to finally read it specifically for compiling this list and I am SO glad I did. SO. MUCH. MAGNIFICENT. SMUT. With a side of adorable feelings. 100/10 🔥

A Worthy Sacrifice by @lemonlushff - (AU. In progress) Lemon's summary: “They call me the ‘Goddess of Death’...but you may call me ‘Mistress’.” This is definitely another one that earns its spot on this list! I just LOVE this story and am so excited to see where it ends up going. Such a cool, creative plot with so much wonderful wonderful smut it's just...*chef's kiss*

Hit the Like Button by @omgitscharlie - (AU. BDSM. In progress) Kagome is an influencer coming out of a painful breakup and Inuyasha is a mechanic who rubs her the wrong way at first. The plot in this is fantastic, and once the smut begins there is plenty of it and it is all wonderfully filthy in the best way! Please heed the tags, as there are heavy BDSM elements and kinks in this story in case that's not your thing. If you're good with that, you will certainly enjoy! This author also has all kinds of insanely hot InuKag stories/one shots (some within this universe, some other AUs, and some canon-based) that will definitely satisfy your smut craving!

Mating Fever by @clearwillow - (Canon divergent. Complete) Carra's summary: "Inuyasha has a problem - it's mating season for youkai - and he's doing everything in his power to ignore the call. When the new moon comes and goes, Inuyasha is faced with two more problems, and they're both eyeing Kagome." An absolute classic in the Inuyasha fandom that I finally read in preparation for compiling this list! Such a fun scenario to imagine (that Carra absolutely knocks out of the park), and the smut is plentiful and incredible (Kagome getting to enjoy sexy times with three versions of Inuyasha...at one point even all at once?!?! HELL👏🏻YES👏🏻)

The Real Me by @fawn-eyed-girl - (AU. In progress) Sexy tatted rockstar Inuyasha finds his mate in equally sexy journalist Kagome. There is sooo much more to this story than just the smut, but since there is an abundance of it and it is all amazing, I had to include it here!! Kagome sighed dreamily, laying flat on the plush bed, admiring the curtains that draped around the bed posts. Her new room was beautiful, bigger than her and Sango’s apartment, the bed itself massive and comfortable. Deciding she would need to send pictures to Sango, once everything was unpacked, she giggled, wiggling her body happily as she sank deeper into her bed.

“You seem to be laughing a lot at the strangest things.” Inuyasha playfully voiced from the doorway. She peeked up at him from her spot, sticking her tongue out at him. He chuckled and walked towards her, settling himself on the corner of the bed, giving her more space than she really wanted.

“Inu,” she bit her lip, sitting up to face him, “Why did you ask me to live with you?”

“I like your company. Plus, you seemed like you could use the help. Are you unhappy to be here?”

“Oh, not at all! I love your home, well my home now too, I guess.” She giggled, still riding on that high. “I just wondered, plus I like spending time with you as well. I did want to know something else.” She felt her cheek warm and twiddled her fingers in her lap.

“Yeah?”

“You’re going to live much longer than me, I don’t want you to be alone, since I’m only human. You asked me to spend the rest of my life here, but what if,” she glanced down, “what if were to live as long as you did? How could I do that, to fulfill my end of the bargain?” She felt his finger under her chin, raising it so she stared into his eyes.

“Are you making another deal with me, Kagome?”

“I’ll do anything to be with you.” She breathed, shuddering at his tone.

“I’d have to make you mine, once that happens, you’ll live as long as me.” She nodded, her breathing stopped and she didn’t dare move as he moved closer, looking from her eyes to her lips. She licked them softly, biting the bottom one. When he rumbled softly, she felt herself move closer, her eyes closing softly. Inuyasha.

When their lips met, she sighed dreamily. She moved her hands up his chest, feeling it rise and fall with every shuddering breath, vibrating against her palms. She moved her lips in sync with his, feeling one of his hands wrap around her waist, hoisting her into his lap. She gasped as he reached with his other at the nape of her neck, holding her in place. Her insides were feeling funny, clenching at his gentle roughness. She moaned when he gripped her hair and she could feel her inner thighs growing wet.

“Inuyasha.” She murmured between kisses, swallowing his gasps when she pulled him closer, gripping his shirt.

“Say it again.” He began to trail kisses down her neck, softly nipping behind her ear, her collarbone and throat. She continued to moan softly, her hand going to his hair to keep him there.

“Inuyasha, Inuyasha, Inuyasha.” She repeated as he continued to suckle her neck. She continued to sit there in absolute heaven, when she got an idea. She raised one of her hands to find his ear, rubbing the appendage softly, stroking it in time with his lips.

She heard his soft growl and giggled, when suddenly she was thrown to the pillows, her hands up above her head.

“You’re playing with dangerous ground there, Ka-Go-Me.” He smirked at her.

“What if I want to play?” She whispered hotly, biting her lip, looking at his lips. He growled once more, leaning down to capture her lips in his, swallowing her loud gasp. She brought her leg up, to rub against his jean clad thigh, the rough fabric on her bare legs heightening her senses. She groaned softly, her body feeling like it was on fire everywhere he touched, his lips soothing every nip. She bared her neck in submission, thrilled when he growled loudly against her skin.

She moved her hands to his abdomen, rubbing his solid muscle underneath, slowly pushing his shirt up. He paused his kissing for a moment, to pull his shirt over his head and she took the opportunity to sit up and begin kissing his chest, tracing his demonic swirls. He paused, gripping her upper arms gently as she ran her lips over his pecs, softly nipping his tanned skin. He snarled, pushing her back to the bed.

“Tonight, will be all about you, love.” He leaned forward, touching his nose against hers and she shivered. “Are you sure? There’s no going back, once you’ve made a deal with me.”

She nodded, smiling for him, her heart leaping in her chest.

“I’m sure. I’m ready to spend the rest of my life with you, if you’ll have me.”

“You drive a hard bargain woman.” He snickered, kissing her deeply. She pushed back, gripping his shoulders to bring him as close as she could. His hand ran up her stomach and she arched forward, desperate for his touch on her skin. She heard a rip and pulled away to look down, her tee shirt ripped apart, exposing her bra clad chest. She arched her brow at him and he grinned sheepishly. She pursed her lips at him, before shaking her head at his impulses, despite it being attractive.

She yanked him forward once more, crashing her lips to his. His claws grazed her bare stomach and she shivered under his touch. She arched her back, desperate for more of him. She reached behind, unclasping her bra so she wouldn’t shred that too. When she yanked it off, he latched on to her left nipple and sucked hard, causing her to cry out. Oh fuck me, yes!

He plucked the other with his fingers, suckling on her chest like a new born babe. She arched her back again, gasping out, calling his name as the wetness between her thighs soaked her shorts.

“Oh my kami, Inuyasha.” She breathlessly gasped and heard his chuckle. Her hand latched onto his hair, gripping it tightly, while the other held onto the silk pillow above her head. She was in heaven and didn’t think it could get any better, but oh, was she wrong.

He continued to give the other nipple the same treatment, bringing more gasps and moans from her, his name in every other breath. He worked his way, softly nipping at her belly, and she clenched as he hit a ticklish spot. She giggled and he smiled against her skin, kissing it softly before continuing downward. As he neared her most sensitive area, she held her breath when she felt his hot breath through the fabric of her shorts. His patience ran thin as her shorts were ripped from her body and he snickered at her loud gasp.

“Inuyasha! Stop ripping my clothes off!” She snapped at him, his actions making her even more hot and bothered, keeping that thought to herself. He shrugged at her, his eyebrow arching when she groaned and laid her head back against the pillow. He began kissing her inner thigh, switching to other, ignoring the spot she wanted him the most. Whimpering a bit, she stifled a groan when she felt his lips getting close to hers, only to pull away. When he licked her from bottom of her lips, all the way to the top of her clit, she moaned in ecstasy, feeling her body begin to tremble in excitement.

If she thought she was in heaven before, she must have died and come back again. He continued his exploring, his tongue bringing her to new heights, when she felt a deep coil in her body, ready to snap when he latched on to her clit, sucking hard, her vision going white.

“Oh my kami, INUYASHA!!” She screamed, her thigh clenching around his head, back arched and her mind going blank. She was vaguely aware of her body vibrating, every inch of her skin on fire as he continued lapping at her. She sighed happily, her body coming down from her high, when she heard his chuckle.

“Not a kami babe, only a demon.”

She rolled her eyes, grabbing his forelocks and bringing him up for a kiss. She gasped, tasting herself on his lips and he growled, pushing her deeper into the mattress. She began to unbuckle his pants, her body even more desperate for his. He helped her unbutton his pants, yanking both his jeans and boxers down, and lining himself up at her entrance. He looked into her eyes one more time, his chest heaving, making sure she was ready for this decision. She smiled, giving him her best genuine smile, bringing him close once more.

As his lips softly brushed hers, he thrust his hips forward, the both of them groaning at the wave of pleasure. She wrapped herself around him, eyes rolling in the back of her head as he thrust forward once more.

“Fuck, Kagome.” He growled, snarling a bit as his thrusting fastened sloppily.

“Inuyasha! Please!” She cried out, clawing at his back, her nails digging in as he made her go higher, not sure what she was begging for. He snarled louder, ripping her arms from his back and flipped her over, yanking her ass in the air. He leaned forward, gripping the hair at the base of her neck, and whispered in her ear, his fangs grazing the skin.

“Your pleasure is mine. You are mine, forever.”

Her body hummed, trembling as he thrust back into her, his words igniting the flame inside of her.

“Yours. I’m yours, as you are mine.” She sighed back happily, pushing back into him, urging him with her body to go harder. He grunted, using his other hand to move her her lower back lower, her face pressed into the pillow. She held her hands out, pushing against the headboard for leverage as he began to go harder, pounding against her. Moaning in bliss, she felt her body go tight once more, his growls vibrating against her back, the fire a raging inferno in her lower belly.

“Inu, I’m gonna, I’m gonna,” She tried to say, her own words lost in her pleasure, groaning.

“Come for me, baby.” He groaned, gripping her hips, pushing him deeper into her core. She whimpered, the feeling of it all too much as he reached his hand around to rub her clit and she exploded instantly. Her orgasm ripped through her, stars flashing before her eyes as she screamed, his name a mantra on her lips. She felt his teeth sinking in her shoulder blade, his cum filling her and she shuddered, orgasming once more.

She sighed happily, groaning a bit as he pulled out before turning her over, so she lay her head on his chest. She drew lazy circles, tracing his markings, her body humming as he traced a mark over and over again on her shoulder. “Are you planning on going to the bar today?” He asked, nuzzling her shoulder, her skin tingling where he bit her the night before.

“Only if you come with me.” She bargained.

“Oi, who says you can make another deal?” He softly nipped at her, causing shivers down her spine.

“I think since I’m spending eternity with a demon, I’m entitled to make a few deals myself.” She laughed and he joined in, the both of them ready to begin their new life together.

You know what's sad? I actually actually hope Rin dies in this series and stays dead. Not because I hate her, quite the opposite actually.I love Rin I am a huge Rin stan. I think she's an adorable little girl and who had such potential and wanted for her the happiest of futures. When I heard that there was a generation 2 of Inuyasha coming out I was so excited to see who Rin grew up to be.

I had always thought she would be Kagome's apprentice, who specializes in healing, both human and demon, thanks to her bonds with Kaede and Sesshomaru. Kaede is how she will learn about healing humans and her bond with sesshomaru would give her the drive to learn how to heal demons. With her own fighting style that was a mix of demon slayer fighting from Sango and Kohaku and archery/holy fighting from Kagome & Miroku. Just incase she needed to defend herself.

KohRin is also my flag ship and I had always had it in my mind that she would marry Kohaku, have like three kids, with Grandpamaru comming to visit. But I was also happy if she didn't fall in love and stayed a single pringle as well and have awesome adventures.

There was sooo much she could have become and I was ecstatic to see what they had done with her.

But then Yashahime came out and when I saw that she had become the bride of Sesshomaru, had his twins, then was cast asside like a broken doll having accomplished nothing but being a baby factory. Made me cry.

Everything that she could have become. All the stories they could have made with her in them. All the potential she had... completely flushed down the toilet. Seeing her sleeping with in the tree with nothing but having babies. Was the worst thing to have been done to her. No one loves or even cares that she is even gone. Some don't even remember that she even exsisted. The only reminder of her presence is her and Sesshomaru's daughters. That from the what I had seen of the anime,Sesshomaru didn't even care about.

Rin was distroyed. True they have made a season two that from what I have seen here on tumbler had given her the smallest of personalities but she was instantly cursed to die and thrown into the tree seven days after giving birth. ((A curse that if her love with Sesshomaru was actually real would have never happened in the first place. For the true OG sesshomaru would have never have let Zero live if she had so much as even thought about hurting his loved one. He would have taken her head from her shoulders before she even had the chance to curse Rin.))

They have taken everything from her. She is the most tragic character in this whole series. A little girl who lost her parents to bandits. Lost her life to wolves. Then was cursed to continuously die and revive by the hands of demons. Her only biological family torn from her side before she even had the chance to hold them. A husband who can care less about if she's alive or dead and a future that holds nothing for her but being a perfect subservient wife and brood mother. Her chance to be a doctor, a demon slayer a priestess. Ripped from her before she even had the chance to lose all of her baby teeth.

I hope Rin dies in this anime so that she can finally be released from the curse that is her life and giving the chance to reincarnate like Kikiyo did and live a life that she deserves. One were she's happy, loved and can become the Queen she deserves to be.

But..I know that won't happen. Sunrise will find a way to keep her alive and she will wake up from her cursed slumber and instantly be the airheaded, subservient wife that forgives everything that happened and only wants to love her lord. Be at his beck and call ready to bare him a new hord of Hanyo children with a smile. For that's all she is good for. Untill the next Yokai comes along and tries to kill her once more.

You’re an absolute trooper for watching this garbage show for us. I’m sure you’ll cover it in your s2 video but what are your thoughts about Setsuna suddenly becoming so enamored with Rin after learning she was their mother? I felt so out of character.

Thank you! Honestly I'm just being a drama queen at this point. I'm having a good time! The S2 video will be absolute chaos, it's set in stone at this point, lol. There will be screaming, wine, and bitchiness, I decree. I've already gotten one of my best friends helping me write it oh no 😭

Personal anecdote time, I am adopted. So I feel like I got some unique insight here. Unfortunately adoption/child abandonement and the complicated feelings that arise are rarely addressed with nuance in fiction (it's almost always instant bond/I forgive you kinda thing and that has rarely been my experience) and Yashahime is on that train. That is where the issue lies.

My dad met and married my mum when I was about 1, and he officially adopted me when I was 3. My biodad wanted nothing to do with me. As an adult I went out of my way to seek out other people that were adopted because being adopted is fucking weird, and it can be very isolating in a way that a lot of people who aren't don't understand. Like the line "blood doesn't matter" makes my eyes roll because that is not the experience of most adopted children. Every adopted child has wondered at least once. Most of us want to know. To be clear, it's not always, and it's totally valid if you never want to know, it's just not the norm.

It's extremely messy and complicated, so I'm not gonna get into too much detail, but I don't have a relationship with my bio dad's family and he died when I was 17. I never met him. And it's fucking weird.

It's weird to know that there's this whole group of people out there that in an alternate universe we would be in each other's lives. And as a kid I did romanticise him a lot, because my childhood was quite traumatic (did you think I became this funny by accident????). I'm not quite sure how I would've reacted if I had met my father face to face when I was 12 and before I realized what an actual shit bag he was. Even now I'm not sure how I'd react if one of them messaged me wanting a connection.

I don't think it's entirely weird that Setsuna would see her mom and immediately feel a connection to her. What is weird is that it's the first time it's come up. As a child I thought about my biodad all the time. I still think about him a lot.

Setsuna never displays any real curiosity in any sense about Towa or Sesshomaru before that and that's what's weird about that scene. Like I talked in my vid about how Riku telling the audience about SessRin was extremely weird, because if you go your whole life not thinking you had a family and then suddenly you had a sister you'd have a lot of questions. Towa spends the entire series trying to impress Setsuna, she puts a lot of stock into them having a bond, and she never wonders about Rin or attempts to make a connection with Sesshomaru. Even in the scene where Kaede tells her about Rin it's not Towa who brings her up. It's weird.

Some adopted people don't want to know. And this is valid and fair. Setsuna was set up to be that kind. Which does happen, I've met quite a few that don't care to know, but it's the minority. It would've been different if after they met Setsuna asked if Towa remembered their mother, or displayed any curiousity towards her father.

The series unfortunately just doesn't seem to be all that interested in exploring the very complex relationship that adopted kids have with their biological families, and just seems to want us to care about Rin being their mom because she's their mom.

Like that's one gripe I have with the Inukag scenes; Inuyasha and Kagome aren't Moroha's parents, not really (watch me get yelled at lol). I'm sure they love her and it was great seeing them reunited, but they're not her parents. Not yet, at least. It's going to take years to build up the intimate relationship they would've had if she had been raised by them and even so that trauma that Sesshomaru and Koga put her through will never entirely go away. There's always going to be moments for Moroha where she's going to mention something and Kagome is going to be sad she missed it or Inuyasha is going to be angry it happened. It's a bubble; for the first little while you're happy to meet them and then suddenly you have to deal with them being real people.

There was a show in the 2010s (I can't remember it's name) that kinda dealt with it; a girl in foster care sought out her birth parents in help getting emancipated and found herself being put into her biological parents hands. Because imagine being 14 and suddenly after years of not being told what to do, you have a mom who's telling you what to do. It'd be like "what the fuck, bitch, you were gone for 14 years, you can't tell me what to do".

So yeah, it's out of character. I will bet money that one day they'll turn on the music, they'll all hug, Towa and Setsuna will call them "mom and dad" and I'll be expected to cry over it but instead my eyes will fall out of my head.

(I also do acknowledge that Yashahime is a show primarily for teenagers/tweens but I hold in my heart that most kids are not stupid and are able to grasp these complex situations because a lot of them have lived these complex situations)

PS: also to all the shippers who invalidate any adoptive relationship in the process of trying to validate your ship, you're an asshole. Done and done. The people who are around you who do have adopted families are listening, and the feeling of being lost sucks enough already without you throwing your "Sota is not Towa's real dad, Sess is her dad" GARBAGE into the pot. My dad is my dad. I say this with my whole chest:

In other news, InuYasha continues to be Best Dad in YH.

And look at that, they actually let Kagome be a pretty good mom in this episode LIKE WE ALWAYS KNEW SHE'D BE!!!!!!!!!

I know!! Oh my goodness its so jarring....like what they gave us in the OG series with Sesshomaru posing as a father figure to Rin was so wholesome, then it all went to shit.

Inuyasha is one of the best dads I've seen on TV hands down. He is so affectionate, protective, and so compassionate!!

Lol yeah they didn't do our queen dirty this time!! Kagome is the sweetest mama who loves her baby so much :') I love how affectionate she is with Moroha too.

A fucking year ago I wrote a fic that was basically like “do you think everyone just forgot about those two Underworld Bouncers who let Sesshoumaru just walk in because he had the Tenseiga WELL I DIDN’T” and now the Underworld Bouncers are back and are a major plot point like damn. Nailed it.

I’m now sitting on “Towa is gonna save Sesshoumaru’s life either with her doot doot sword flute or with the Tenseiga* as a parallel to Setsuna severing the thread of fate between Rin and Zero” like COME ON SHOW. GIVE IT TO ME. I wrote that fic too! I need it!

*Y’all don’t understand how bad I want everyone in this family (except Towa I guess) to have been raised by the Tenseiga. Like EVEN JAKEN. EVEN. JAKEN. HAS.

Other thoughts:

-honestly into Shippo not aging a day mentally or emotionally because it really drives home the whole “full demons age slowly” thing, which means Sesshoumaru is probably still mentally in his early twenties. This doesn’t matter. Except where it does.

-glad we got Kirinmaru’s entire scheme and it’s just “Guys I want to remake the classic movie Armageddon.” Someone please dub over that shot of the Grim Comet smashing into earth with “I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing.” What if I put that on my SessRin playlist right now. I’m gonna do it.

Seriously, his plans GET DUMBER every time he explains them. He’s making Young Lord Bad Communication Is Hereditary look good by comparison.

-new crack theory: Both families goes to the modern era permanently. Problem solved. Unleash the dogs on modern day Japan.

-less crack theory and more “a thing that isn’t going to happen but I want it to.” They do all go to the modern era to fight the comet and Towa realizes she wants to go back a la Kagome like please Jesus just let be so. She can’t break her promise to Mei if she sees her again and Mei lets her out of it. Do not separate the family!!! Don’t do it!!!!

(I’ve been getting A LOT of things I wanted out of the show suddenly such as: Rin protecting Sess, Sess getting his ASS BEAT, so you know Maybe???)

-glad to see Jaken is carrying the weight of the sole brain cell in this family. Idk if he was the one sending Inuyasha and Kagome Moroha baby pictures on his own time or if Sess told him to, but turning the Staff Cam on so Team Black Pearl could see what was going on was a big brain move. We really don’t appreciate the Team Grandpa enough.

-Can’t talk about how much I was sobbing about Moroha and her parents. My heart!!! Also I love that Kagome ALSO calls them “Rin’s daughters” like yeah sure your dad is a scawwy demon but have you met Rin?!

(Rin, meanwhile, in her underwear and no shoes telling Kirinmaru to get fucked. QUEEN SHIT. You should see her in a crown.)

- the OFFENDED looks on Towa and Setsuna’s face when Inuyasha is like “wow your dad got fucking merced by Kirinmaru right in front of you that’s rough” SENT ME. Like DAMN Inuyasha. It was cute that he was then like “HE’S FINE HE IS LITERALLY TOO STUBBORN TO DIE.”

(Smash cut to: Sesshoumaru fighting off THE SPECTRE OF DEATH ITSELF to go kick Kirinmaru’s ass because he was going to murder his wife. Like damn this family is attractive. We Stan the protective instincts of (1) poodle demon family.)
