i know this episode is dumb filler but:

and what pisses me off is that we could've had THIS with him and moroha. we could've had him helping her train, taking care of her when she's ill, and just...being the father figure he wished he could've had in his life. there's this repeating theme of him seeing himself in other youkai children and taking care of them, or at least emphasizing with them. he relates. he gets it. he doesn't want them suffering the way he did. and yashahime was like "hm...what if...amazing idea incoming...he didn't get to raise his daughter? lol."

This was sitting in my folder for a while but I decided to finally finish these up and upload them.

These are basically an alternative design I was playing around with Moroha. The idea behind her having a mokomoko is that she saw Sesshomaru's and eventually he gave her one of her own in order to fend off her trying to steal his.

What can she say, its comfortable to sleep on.

She has gold eyes in this au because honestly I prefer them over the brown eyes. Also I edited the markings because I hated how it basically just looked like eyeliner and lipstick, so I had her resemble her grandfather more because in my au she's the reincarnation of Toga. Also instead of her grandmothers rouge, which should have been destroyed, she instead uses her own blood as lipstick to trigger her power because having a strong source of scent helps unlock her strength. She could just smear it underneath her nose, but having a blood mustache doesn't look as respectable.

I have some thoughts on her weapons, but I'll share them next time. Though if you guys flood my inbox with questions, I may not be able to help myself from sharing.

Yashahime had writers that not only made Sesshomaru the Actual Worst, they went out of their way to defend, justify and worship him in every stupid thing he did, yet they still couldn’t write his kids into liking him and I think that’s beautiful.

Ugh need some OG Inuyasha again. Sesshomaru with Kagura and Rin.

3 panels, but the chemistry between Rin and Kohaku is undeniable. Way more tender and loving than that S***rin ever be.

It only took, I don’t know how long… But I’m finally able to look at Sesshomaru without having a visceral negative reaction where I’m screaming pedo/groomer in my head.

Even SR fans don't like Yashahime's version of their ship and have to make up stuff about it to make it seem better than it is. Newsflash, if you have to invent context and between-scenes to make a ship okay, it's not an okay ship and you should abandon it. SR would never have been a thing anyway if the shippers weren't making up garbage about Sesshomaru and Rin and had just PAID ATTENTION to how their relationship is in Inuyasha in the first place. It's not romance, never was meant to be romance, and it's so obvious it blows my mind when the creeps come at us saying that it's canon.

Never was canon, never will be canon.

Unbelievable that there were people watching an adult taking care of a child and went full "Oh that's so romantic. My favorite ship".

And I think it says a lot about how gross and poorly built a ship is, when not even it's fans are happy with what they got 🤷‍♀️

Another one based on Inuyasha Downs’ Tweet. Someone had an even funnier idea and I couldn’t resist.

Technically, the anime version of Inuyasha was incomplete, but thankfully the Final Act came out to complete it (although a few arcs were skipped). But then they tried to add more but it resulted being a cheap badly written crap.

no one can convince me that the only good inuyasha sequel wouldn’t have been Kagome and Inuyasha fighting the bad guys while desperately trying to keep little baby Moroha from running off into danger.

Moroha has never had to develop survival instincts because her parents + Sango, Miroku, Kohaku, Kaede and Shippo protect her with their life. But she has inherited Inuyasha’s recklessness and Kagome’s bravery, so trying to convince this very small child not to try and fight the bad guys is very difficult.

and Inuyasha gives totosai a fang of his to carve a sword for Moroha.

Inuyasha: just make a child-safe sword.

Totosai: ???

Inuyasha: you know? A child safe sword??

Totosai: ??????

Okay last idea I'm gonna post here for later but like

Imagine Kagome having (Y/n) as like a teacher from not Japan teaching whatever language (English or perhaps something else but I'm thinking English cuz it's always been a thing I wanted to do but I digress) but like they check on Kagome end up in Feudal Japan and Sesshomaru gaining an interest in them because they are extremely different than he's used to. Like even more culture shock than Kagome. And that's kinda what drew his interest to them in the first place.

And then if they curse or something in their native language he's like impressed or something. Idk.
