My mother and I have two masters degrees between us and yet somehow we could not figure out if frogs have lungs or not.
Can you help settle the debate?
All frogs have lungs except one! The bizarre Barbourula kalimantanensis is the only known frog to lack lungs. It makes up for this by being heckin' flat, basically imitating the bizarre pipids.
if you find yourself asking "how shall i spend the next one minute and 52 seconds?", i implore you to turn to the Wansa-kun opening for the most joyful way to fill the time. isn't this wonderful
artistic rendition of my desk aka my insanity domain
this was actually good practice for drawing from life- its just a doodle but still. my tablet lives on the little shelf under my desk but i put it up where my keyboard is when im using it and i just slide it under where my monitor is. also shoutout to my disco lights
i forgot what his ingame name was and had to scrub thru a bunch of videos looking for him like a cryptid and i think that's incredibly joe hills of him
One thing I really like from old 3d games is how they modeled creatures. they all have this cuteness to them that you dont really get idk. just thinking about hl1 headcrabs and burricks from thief 1 + 2. theres just something about that era and making the silliest motherfuckers known to man
Trying to finish something I was supposed to do ages ago--spinning a contrast color for this sock yarn. The fleece (southdown babydoll) had a pretty wide range of grays, most of which I blended together. But I intentionally left the darkest gray out of the mix so that later I could spin up just that, and have a dark gray for the toe and heel. So, now I'm doing that.
One thing I did not realize until now (due to intentionally avoiding working with the darker gray locks) is that they are all much shorter than the other colors of gray, and a lot of them are way finer too. That's not ideal, so I might not use it for the toe--it won't be as hard-wearing of a yarn and the toe/ball of the foot is what wears out the fastest on my socks by far, so. It's fine though, I just want some kind of decorative element that uses the fact that this fleece had lots of nice colors.
I'm also not that surprised, I guess. The longest locks were always the very light gray ones. Hard to know why without seeing the sheep though.
Ough, I love so much when people interpret/draw Per'kele with his guts out. Man literally going around with his organs on show with just the peritoneum working overtime to keep them in place, just trusting that he got the strongest mesentery in town to keep his small intestine from pulling off a ratkin look- *chef kiss* Majestic.)
I know they're gonna prob be a one off thing but fuck it
I wanna see the little memo frogs bug the shit out of nandor next episode
like I want them to float around nandor maybe croak his name or something
then he tries to ask guillermo to help get rid of them but for whatever reason he's busy so slowly nandor befriends the frogs like he did mathew
and he names them all mini guillermo 1 2 and 3 or something
and later during an argument he tells guillermo "well these frogs that weirdly kinda look like you make better familiars than you >:[" or something like that and retreats to his room with his little floating guillermo frog army
then later once all of the angst is over and if the frogs are still around I want them to become nandor and guillermo's frog children
got reminded it has been a while since i've done a knitting round-up, so here we are!! Last time I said I was only doing the active projects and honestly, hated that approach. So now we've got all of them back on the plate.
