Wing hcs for the seven (+reyna and nico). Because I got bored and they should have wings.

Jason- Swan. Specifically the wings of a trumpeter swan. Large, majestic, maybe a little tragic, pure white and just benefiting of a son of Jupiter and praetor of the legion. He probably spends hours after battle grooming the blood/monster dust/dirt out of them and it’s one hell of a self soothing habit by that point.

Piper- White-Tailed Kite. She’s probably the fastest of the seven, constantly has people asking if she’s got dove wings and it’s lowkey grating on her nerves. It’s a kite, not a glorified pigeon thank you very much. Her and Jason will take turns grooming each other’s feathers though, and it’s lovely bonding time for them both.

Leo- Common Raven. Either signifying knowledge/innovation or the burden of being omened by death, your choice. Who am I kidding, he definitely sees them as bad luck. Clipped on one side from a foster home or possibly when he had a runaway attempt from wilderness camp. Rarely has them out, and stress tears out his own feathers.

Annabeth- Barn Swallow. Kind of plain, but she just lies half the time and says that she’s got owl feathers. Post Mark of Athena, she’s more proud of them and her place among her peers with more exotic wings. Also Percy’s the only person with blanket permission to touch and groom her feathers. Also has a stress tearing issue, but her siblings and partner are good at catching her before she can damage herself too badly.

Percy- Common Kingfisher. Still good for flight, but also allows him to dive and hit the water without worrying about not being able to surface afterwards due to being waterlogged. Bit redundant since he can dry himself off anyway thanks to Poseidon powers but the point still stands. Plus, they’re blue and he’s absolutely chuffed that they are.

Frank- *insert american bald eagle jokes* jkjk. Red-Tailed Hawk. Although he didn’t get his adult feathers until he unlocked his shapeshifter abilities and matured there. He can also change his wings to different ones when he concentrates but it always feels a touch off, so he sticks with the wings he was born with.

Hazel- Golden-Winged Sunbird. Pretty! Unique! Gave her a lot of shit for it in her first life because of course the cursed girl with the death jewels had gold wings. She’s gotten alot more comfortable with having them since meeting Frank and Nico though.

Bonus!

Reyna- Hispanionlan Amazon. Yes, the green clashes with the purple of her praetor cloak. No, that will not stop her from still wearing it. Her and Hylla’s wings match, although Hylla dyes her feathers black in an attempt to seem more intimidating. Reyna tried once and decided that she preferred the original coloring of her wings.

Nico- Cinereous Vulture. Go look up photos, trust me. Absolute wet cat of a bird. Plus honor and respect in death, and like a vulture, Nico is also a scavenger. His wings are missing feathers from neglecting to groom them + the amount of time he’s spent nomadic. Living at camp full time is helping with the feather regrowth however.

What would you type heroes of Olympus characters?

I actually already typed Annabeth and Percy, but for the rest… I have to read the Heroes of Olympus again to do a full typing, but I’d have to read Heroes of Olympus again to type them.

Nico - I feel like he’s the hardest one to type, because in general, I see a lot of Fi. I don’t know if he’d be INFP or ISFP, but the Fi is certainly there. I’ve seen people say TSATS gives him Fe vibes, so they type him as INTP, but personally I have to disagree, though I wasn’t thinking about his type when I read it. However, I am on the Titan’s Curse of my reread, so I may have to do a full typing when I figure it out. Rn I’m sticking with INFP.

Jason: xSTJ, but I’m leaning towards ISTJ, mainly because I definitely remember his Fi being higher than his Ne, and even when he didn’t remember anything, he still relied on his Si a lot. So yeah, ISTJ.

Piper: I’ve always seen her as a dominant Fi user, but I’ve learned a lot about MBTI since reading the series, and I know I used to confuse Fi and Ti a lot, even when typing myself. So I might change my mind a bit once rereading, but right now, I’m still typing her as an ISFP

Leo: I’m going to say something controversial, because alot of people type him as either ISTP or ENTP, but personally… I see him as an INTP. Personally, any Se people see in him tends to be based on stereotypes, or confused for Ne. However, as far as functions go, I see equal amounts of Ti and Ne… but his Fe is definitely his inferior function, especially because he relies on his Si quite a bit. INTP

Hazel: Everything about this girl screams ISFJ. Her Si is clear as day, the main driving factor of her character, and her Fe isn’t close behind. So yeah, ISFJ.

Frank: I’ll be completely honest with you… I have no clue… none. However, if I had to guess, I’d say he definitely has Fe in him. If I had to base it off of what I remember… ISFJ.

Reyna: I don’t know why but I remember typing her as ESFJ.

Grove Digimon Partner: Rain/Reyna/Reynya

Hi so this little project continues to be a way for our system to help figure ourselves out, define ourselves and to stretch some creative flexibility and stuff. The three of us debated if we wanted to have our own digimon and such, but ultimately we decided to have one partner, with different evolution lines... This blog post might be longer than all the others... There is also a secret fourth thing that I(Rain) mainly wanted to include as a reference to from source. I will also point out this is something, i'm doing for *us* This is not a "What would be a best digimon for Ranma the character," while Ranma is our source, we are also our own people, and while we may draw on exomemories and things from the show as inspiration. We don't want to be judged by some standard of accuracy or perfection to source. I guess to start it off the rookie/child stage: 1) Rookie/child stage: Salamon/Plotmon

So we thought long and hard about it and Salamon was chosen because its generic small animal shaped felt like it would be a good fit for a branching line like ours. Its various descriptions across digimon media describe it as an Insecure digimon that has great potential. I feel like it would be a good buddy to talk to about things when I feel confused or uncertain about something. They might not always have the answer but talking to them would be comforting. I think we are gonna start with Reynyas line

So in our mind, the way things work would be that we would have one digivice, and digimon partner. But depending on whose fronting, will influence and interact with the data/code of our Salamon friend. When Reynyas fronting, the obvious factor to include would be her cat like nature and tbh that is the major theming around this line. And nyaow I'll(Reynya) be taken over to talk about the line. :P ADULT/CHAMPION: Gatomon/Tailmon

(Art is From the digital monster card game) Soooooooo there were a lot of cat digimon we could have gone with, Mikemon, Meicoomon, Leomon, and black tailmon just to name a few. The reason I chose Gatomon was for a few reasons. First off one of its signature move is called Neko Punch( or Cat Punch) and well thats pretty dang close to Neko-Ken( Cat fist) also known as Catfu... which in source is the technique the old man tried to teach us and led to my formation. And while it was pretty shitty of him, I am glad to exist and Gatomon by my side I get to stand proudly. There are a few other aspects to me picking it up as well, the English name is Gatomon, which takes its name from the spanish word for cat. Our systems body is Puerto Rician and our desire to be closer to that side of our lineage. Also there are some designya elements that can be pulled from Gatomons lines for the rest of my line. ^^ ULTIMATE/PERFECT: Lynxmon!

Lynxmon, continues the cat theme! Lynxmon is actually the armor digivolution for Gatomon if it were to use the digimantle/digiegg of courage, you can actually tell from the purple ears and markings that remain as a callback to Gatomon. While armor digimon are usually the equivalent of a Champion/Adult level digimon, there is at least some precedence for Lynxmon to be an Ultimate/Perfect level digimon as it was one in one of the digimon story games. Lynxmon. it's said to have a carefree personality which vibes with me :3. It also acts as a nice transition to the Mega/ultimate stage.

MEGA/ULTIMATE: Saberleomon!

Funnya enough Saberleomon is also a digimon who has existed as multiple levels throughout the franchise. Saberleomon seems like a fun finale for this stage for a few reasons! One, its a big ol cat! Two, the gloves of Gatomon are specifically said to be made from saberleomon data so it's a nice tie in. Three, it's really cool and I likes it alot!!!) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ok So its my(Reyna) turn! Rain says he wants to do hers last. Rain and I actually focus less on aesthetics and more on a common through line for our parts of the line. Aesthetics are an aspect of it, but on thinking who we are we came across some digimon that really highlighted something important to us. I'll be up front about my theme, it is digimon who prefer not to fight but are powerful when they do. I prefer to resolve things peacefully, and unlike Rain I don't really consider myself a martial artist, but if I have power and I need to defend myself or others I should use it right? Well those were the thoughts I had when thinking about what I want my line to look like. Both a partner that will protect me and I can learn from. ADULT/CHAMPION: Siesamon!

Siesamon is based off of the Shisa, lion-dogs that are protectors and guardians. Siesamon follows that role as a guardian. Its fiercely loyal to its tamer, and fends of calamities and evil doers. They however are also very docile and enjoy sunbathing. I can just imagine Salamon digivolving to Siesamon, and letting me pet its fur to help relax from the latest chaos happening in Nerima..or our life right now tbh. Between the color palate and the mixture of lion and dog features it seems like a fitting digivolution for Salamon. ULTIMATE/PERFECT: Tyilinmon!

Tylinmon has some visual cohesion with siesamon, primarily the horn, and the way both of the tails and legs make use of cloud like spirals. Tylinmon is also described as a powerful digimon that detest conflict and bloodshed. The digimon reference guide puts a focus on its compassion towards all living things in the digital world, but will stand up against those who needlessly cause bloodshed. Its dedication to compassion is what makes Tylinmon appeal to me. MEGA/ULTIMATE Sakuyamon (Miko Mode Mostly))

Sakuyamon (Miko mode) is a mode that Sakuyamon takes when she isn't fighting and is instead focused on performing Shinto rites. The digimon refrence guide says shes puts a lot of her power into her ability to exorcise evil spirits. Striving towards peace and other types of solutions to Violence, I like to think that Salamon would primarily turn into the MIko mode... but I suppose they can form change into the standard Sakuyamon form if a fight really got out of hand! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alright I'm back(Rain) And I'll be going over my line. My line has two main themes going about it, martial arts.... and self acceptance. I'm bigender, and despite everyone else in this body already being ok with their identities and such, I still struggle to well be sincere and confident in embracing all of myself. And um I guess my hopes for my partner would be someone I can grow alongside with and embrace all aspects of how I feel and see myself.. And a sparring buddy!

ADULT/CHAMPION: Turuiemon!

So I actually had some difficulty trying to find a line that felt right for me. Turuiemon and the ultimate/mega in my line actually started off as being potential options for *Reyna* but after thinking about it and Reyna going in a different direction, there was a lot for me to like about Turuiemon. It is explicitly a martial artist, the digimon reference guide mentions it being found the hinterlands of a chinese mountain province, and its agility reminds me of my own training. TBH if I were to have a partner that didn't digivolve I think I would just pick Turuiemon. I never expected myself to have such a connection to a rabbit but here we are. But this digimon does digivolve and into....

ULTIMATE/PERFECT: Grappleomon

GrapLeomon is a digimon said to have taken the data from various fighting video games. The digimon reference book it unleashes a variety of ever changing techniques. Certainly sounds like anything goes! You may also notice that grapleomon is another member of the leomon family, this is where accepting all parts of me come in. My headmates are apart of, as I am apart of them. Having a digimon in the same family as Reynyas Ultimate/Mega stage displays that bond, and uh helps me over come a fear of cats I suppose( the others are ok with them mostly, but I well I dont get scared but I do get nervous). So martial artists... embracing myself and my headmates... I wonder what the final stage is.

MEGA/ULTIMATE: Lovely Angemon

As Reyna decided to not use Lovely Angemon and instead went for Sakuyamon... I found myself considering her. I was um. well I was uncertain about such a feminine design. Like I said, I'm bigender but I still get nervous about presenting feminine, of letting myself be soft. But...I do like the design, I do want to be feminine at least some times, and not because of a disguise, or i'm tricking someone, or because I have a curse and might as well use it. Its because thats part of who I am. It also doesn't help that shes described as a close combat specialist. She also enjoys eating tasty food while walking around and well, everyone knows when it comes to snacking the girl form is the way to go

And those our are lines! Okay I did mention a secret 4th thing. Well originally I was trying to set you a different digimon to be *my* lines final stage. And that was Qinglongmon

A Long twirling dragon connected to storms the wind? Why well it did remind me of one of my most important techniques. A technique that I learned when I was a pretty low point, in my exo-memories of course. The Hiryū Shōten Ha or Heaven Blast of the Dragon. Tbh It doesn't match any of the lines all too well, and i'm leaving it here mostly as a reference. But given its powerful and regalness, I also kind of like the idea that if like, Reynya, Reyna, and I came kind of co-fronted or at least were in Unison... Well Salamon could warp digivolve to it. IDK If that sounds cheesy or dumb or whatever. but yeah. This has been fun, I hope you enjoyed reading our rambles.

Haloween Headcanons

It’s no surprise why I put these people… They (By ‘they’ I mean Jett, Raze, and Phoenix) have the most childish personality and really enjoy events like this. Astra and Skye are really avid enjoyers of the event mostly because they love the candy,,, I headcanon that all these people have a sweet tooth!! Fight with the wall if you disagree👊. They (again Jett, Raze, and Phoenix) also are the ones who force Brimstone to allow them to make a party and give some funds to buy a shit ton of candy. Poor Brimstone had to agree begrudgingly; the young duelists surely would’ve committed arson if he didn't

Is excited but hides it: Neon, Yoru, Sage, Reyna

Neon reminisces about her Halloween experience back in the Philippines and smiles thinking about it. She stopped going out to celebrate Halloween with friends when she turned into college and believes now is the chance to relive her memories. Yoru tries to keep his cool demeanor but fails when he smiles softly, remembering his times with his buddies trashing neighboring houses in high school. Sage, on the other hand, has never really experienced Halloween; she was simply too busy when she was younger. I headcanon that she lived in a more rural part of China, so events like Halloween were quite rare. And for Reyna? Well, she celebrated it because of her younger sister; she too has many fond memories of Halloween. Though, it feels so bittersweet knowing that she may not celebrate Halloween again with her sister.

Costumes : Neon - Dressed up as The Flash as a joke Yoru - DID NOT WANT TO WEAR ANYTHING,,, Was forced into wearing a Bunny headband (was supposed to match with Jett and Phoenix) Sage - Dressed up as Mulan since she (somewhat) relates to her Reyna - Dressed up as a Queen, wearing a long red slightly puffy dress with bold red makeup

Indifferent about it, but supports the other agents: Brimstone, Sova, Cypher, Kay/O, Omen, Fade, Chamber.

These people probably have experienced it once or twice and never really had an opinion on it. Probably by-standers in the party, wearing a simple costume but never really stood out. They also helped decorate the headquarters and help set the mood for the rest. Nonetheless, I think their opinion on Halloween might change once they celebrate it with their newfound family.

Brimstone - Wore a simple Pirate Costume. Sova - Has a small wolf ear headband and small tail Cypher - Wears a Devil costume, and has the trident(??) thing too! Kay/O - His body IS the costume Omen - Has similar cat ears to Jett Fade - Two words. Witch Costume. Chamber - Evil Priest Costume with Blood all over his costume (may or may not be real), claims to punish the sinful people.

Hates the event/Simply too busy: Viper and Killjoy

Viper just hates the idea of mingling for the reason of dressing up, she thinks it’s pointless. But she does like scaring other people, so she kinda wanders around the party scaring people. For Killjoy, she again thinks it is kinda pointless, and she's simply too busy, but she still goes when she has time.

Percy Jackson polyship

Percy and Rachel actually start dating before the main war, and Percy and Annabeth are friends, but waffling (Annabeth doesn't actyally dislike Rachel, but she likes Percy too, and mythology being reality for them, doesn't know how to deal with this, or her lingering feelings for luke, then Percy is always talking about Calypso, and how he hated leaving her, Rachel is like, look, we can make a plan my soft hearted guy, big stuff's coming so if  we win and you survive, ask for Calypso's freedom as your reward. Percy is very onboard with this idea and when Annabeth hears of it she like's "aren't you worried they'll get together? and Rachel's like 'I'm pretty sure they will but Percy has a big heart and I just have to hop Calypso doesn't mind sharing, or maybe she and I will be together too, polyamory and all. (annabeth .exe stops working for awhile)

It's annabeth post war (and her sort of gross crying and admitting her feelings, Rachel agreeing to being Apollo's oracle, but nixing the whole "eternal chastity" thing because no, hell no. Apollo decides to accept this, Rachel then gives her new great prophecy to everyones consernation) who is like, okay, lets all three go get Calypso (a bit of thunder rumbles and Percy is like, no, hell no, you said she'd be freed we're going to get her.

They sail off and the sea at least, is very agreeable to the trip and the look on Calypso's face when Percy returns for her has Annabeth and Rachel both sympathy crying because how alone this girl has been, for centuries upon  centuries with only the occassional man to be there, fall in love with, then have her very love that which takes them from her.

She accepts the odd relationship easily, though Percy's like "hey we'll be around lots of people and I don't want you to feel like you have to be with me/us" but Calypso's like, nope, sticking with you.

Things go well and dates are odd but fun (Annabeth finds that kissing girls is pretty alright too) and camp-half blood is having fun mostly teasing percy good naturedly. Percy also approaches Nico, as he had been sure the boy had a crush on Annabeth to talk to him, since Nico's been staring at him alot, only for Nico to finally confess that it's Percy he likes. Percy .exe stops working for a moment, and then (after a rapid run through of past happenings pretyt much goes "Oh!"  He stops Nico from running away and they talk, then he drags the nervous boy to the girls and they get added to the conversation and ultimately Nico joins the polycule, feeling slightly odd at not really wanting to like kiss the girls at all but percy just happily says that it means more for kisses for him.

Then Percy is just suddenly gone. Vanished without a trace. Rachel tries and tries to bring fourth prohpecy to find him and nothing while Annabeth and Calypso search. Nico does as well, though after his father sends him to camp jupiter, nico starts feeling torn though when percy shows up sans memories, and looks at nico and says he knows him, Nico is more confident is saying "yes you do, but I think one of the other big gods has something planned so I can't answer stuff for fear of smiting but I think it's to help in an upcoming "big trouble" thing so percy accepts but gets a small answer of somethings when Nico kisses him quickly before he leaves.

he and reyna get close after he returns and is made praetor. he likes her more quiet nature, she just seems steady, but considering his own memory loss, feels very understanding of her weariness regarding trying to be to many things to to many people and jsut going along with the flow instead of getting a chance to find out who she Reyna truly is.

Hewwo! I hope this feeds you well and if you want a longer, more detailed fic on the same topic i would be more than happy to do so just lmk! I didn’t want to like write tooooo much and mess it up but i do really assign my self in the “Sova is probably an ass unintentionally constantly” camp so if more is desired i will happily supply it. Starting with the HC portion before the fic portion: 

I feel Sova actually does this ALOT to all the agents. 

He’s incredibly honest and wants to help the others not depend on him as much but that often comes with painful criticism he sees as just giving advice. He does do it sometimes to pick on others but most of the time he is entirely clueless what he said was rude

Doesn’t realize what he's said is harmful until he sees the other person upset, has a bit of trouble grasping why that would upset them until he replays his wording in his head. 

Does quickly learn what wordings/methods work with which agents so he doesn’t offend them

Has entirely told Neon that, if she learned to control her powers better she wouldn’t have to worry about hurting the others or herself (Reyna and Sage were VERY mad at him for this). He was trying to be helpful but just ended up getting tazed

I, personally, think this stems from how self reliant he has ALWAYS been and  that has caused him to be just…a bit dumb when it comes to giving sympathy or giving feedback in a constructive way since he’s so harsh on himself.

Is by no means purposefully an asshole to his team about their shortcomings. Did you see how ready he was during the Istanbul mission? He can practice care for his team in a way that's genuine (maybe not how Sage does but still)  he is just very to the point when it comes to giving feedback. 

When paying attention he does try to be a lot more lovingly/caringly guiding like Sage is; See his “If you aren’t doing well today there are other ways you can be useful” voice lines as my main backing. He says that with like such gentleness it makes me soft hearing it and makes my games better

Has started arguments with you, and several others, a few times over comments he didn’t think through that were a bit too blunt. You knew this was just how he talked and that he wasn’t one to give honeyed words but it still made you upset.

Admittedly has made you cry a few times. Feels terrible about this and actually accidentally let it slip he liked you when apologizing. 

Onto the fic uwu 

The mission had been a success, that’s what mattered. Yes you had to be healed both by Sage AND Skye, still ending the mission hanging on by a thread and having to be healed a third time in the evac ship. You weren’t happy with needing so much help, you had even been joking about it to remove some of the guilt. Sova very clearly was not getting the message that this was bothering you and you wanted to make light of it instead of dwelling on it. He always did this sort of thing, he didn’t think what he was saying was hurtful until later when Sage ragged on him about it. Normally you were mostly unshaken by it so you could scold him in the moment to correct the behavior, this was not one of those moments. “Maybe if you practiced more you wouldn’t need as much support,” He spoke as the two of you were putting away your gear. “If it troubles you so much maybe you could take more training or learn to mend your own injuries so Sage and Skye can focus on healing others.” You stood there for a moment, trying to calm yourself before you yelled at him. You didn’t want to yell at him, gods you hated yelling at any of the other agents, but the wounds were still much too fresh for you to keep your temper. “What do you know about any of that? I didn’t exactly see you out there covering everyone.” You tried to keep your tone neutral, attempting to phrase it as a backhanded question rather than an actual attack. It was a warning that went over the man's head. “I was providing visuals, maybe if you’d paid more attention to them you would have been able to take the enemy easier.” His words sounded genuine, he wasn’t trying to antagonize and probably just thought this was a normal post mission conversation or disagreement. It certainly did not make things better. “Maybe if the callouts were useful I would have.” He seemed to stiffen at this comment. You began to turn to leave, having stored all your gear away and wanting to check up with Sage again to make sure all your injuries were healing correctly before going to blow off steam “If you hadn’t rushed into the line of fire they would have been, you can’t behave carelessly and expect to live.” That is what made you finally snap. From the doorway, only glancing over your shoulder, you bitterly spat at the marksmen. “Maybe if you could actually land your shots I wouldn’t have to compensate and do it for you.” With that you left and stormed off to your room. Injuries be damned, you needed to lay down and scream into your bed before you took your rage out on someone. Throwing several pillows, plushies, and even a picture frame containing a picture of you and everyone; you spent nearly half an hour in your room before there was a knock. Only opening the door a crack you saw the source of your outburst standing there, holding your favorite food and a can of your favorite soda, his face softened. “I realize what I said earlier was wrong and that I should have been kinder,” He sounded earnest, causing you to open the door more to give a view of yourself and your room. Your face was a bit red, hair a mess, and a fresh cut on your hand from grabbing the edge of the picture frame too harshly, to say you looked upset was an understatement. Sova seemed taken aback by everything, a look of guilt crossing over his face. “May I step in and help clean up?” You nodded and took his offerings, waiting for him to remake your bed before you sat on it and began eating. The cut on your hand was only minor so you rejected his offer of getting Sage to tend to it, opting for just a band aid. One of his winning qualities was how he took responsibility for things, fixing them even if he hadn’t directly caused it, it's one of the things you liked about him. “You’re an ass,” You told him, your voice still giving away to your lingering upsetness. “Yes, Yes I am.” He nodded as he sat on the floor at your feet, giving you space but not wanting to awkwardly stand there. He opened his mouth to speak but you cut him off, knowing he was going to try to give good feedback to make up for the rudeness earlier. “No,” you said bluntly, taking a drink. “ I don’t want you to throw something nice on it as a band aid. Say sorry.” Looking down in shame he moved into a groveling position, earning a small laugh from you at how goofy he looked despite you knowing the show was supposed to help make it seem more sincere. “I deeply apologize for being so harsh, I should have been kinder and should have chosen my words more carefully.” He sounded genuine, guilt weighing his voice down as he looked up at you, returning to his knees. “Can I make it up to you? Would you allow me to do that?” “Wait the food wasn’t that?” You felt a bit better, still upset but getting to a point you could at least manage it. He shook his head as he stood, “That was making sure I didn’t get hit when you opened the door, after upsetting Neon I’ve learned to bring gifts as a peace offering. It makes it less likely that I will have to pay Sage a visit.” He was trying to lighten the mood, in his own weird way, which did help a little. “We could spar and help you take out your frustrations, I could take you into town for something? Maybe a movie or to the beach? Visit that restaurant that Raze keeps mentioning that you wanted to try?” “How about instead we go on a walk and help you figure out how to not be an asshole after missions?” You suggested. The others sounded like amazing dates but you certainly were not in the mood for a date right now. You wanted to avoid at least getting mad at him after missions, training was fine but you wanted to rest not be angry after risking your life. “Alright, may I?” He opened his arms to offer a hug, you sitting your food down and opening yours in response. “Come on dummy,” leaning down he gave you a small hug that you took full advantage of, turning it into almost a bear hug. He was caught off guard, letting out a small gasp as you pulled him in tightly, causing him to nearly fall onto your lap. “What are you doing?” He sounded absolutely perplexed by your actions, still standing but partially straddling you awkwardly.  Resting your chin on his stomach to look up at him you gave a villainous smile, “This is so i don’t strangle you, you’re also cute when you’re caught off guard.” Letting out a sigh of annoyance, clearly understanding you were trying to get back at him in the only way you knew how by teasing him emotionally. Releasing you he pulled himself out of your death grip, tripping a little over his own feet and almost landing face first on the ground. “Okay let’s go before it gets dark,” he patted himself off after regaining his balance, offering you his hand. You took his hand and gave it a semi hard squeeze which only got you an unenthused glare before he squeezed yours back much softer. “But please be more careful, I don’t want to lose you because you thought you needed to take on everyone or everything.” “So, what you are saying is you were distracted by worry so that’s why you kept missing?” “(Y/N) Please I’m trying to be sincere.” “After earlier I’m allowed to be an ass, but same to you Sova.” The two of you didn’t have to verbalize it further, you both knew exactly why this sentiment was shared and also knew the walk would be beneficial somewhat. Later you’d probably have more of a heart to heart with him and help him work through his guilt over everything. The blonde locked his emotions away often, even at times like this. At a surface level there was no way for you to know how bad he was actually feeling right now, but you had your ways to work through those barriers. Later you would begin your work of breaking everything down, probably sharing in either a crying or venting session, then you’d work on patching everything up and giving each other some much needed attention. Once everything was said and done you’d probably tease him about his worry over you as a reminder for him to try to be nicer or at least think of things in a more emotional light before speaking.

what's your thought on percabeth?

Hmm....I'd have to say its very mixed? Like, I'm very meh on the constant main female x main male dynamic that appears in a lot of stuff- as its just predictable for me, but with Percabeth, I feel like Rick really should have written them better.

Like, them fighting a lot at 12 is kinda expected of 12 year olds, but as they get older, its just tiring, especially when Annabeth calls him Seaweed Brain, a nickname that mocks his intelligence in a series full of demigods who have dyslexia and Percy often feared being made to do tests he couldn't do in Lightning Thief, and her whole deal with Rachel was honestly toxic. Like she and Percy won't even dating, but Percy was somehow meant to be not friends with another girl outside of camp??? And Annabeth only chills when Rachel is off limits and she has Percy- like, the love triangle in itself was really bad- and not Rick's first bad love triangle- but with Annabeth and Percy, it really feels annoying that Annabeth only chills due to those two things.

But again, they only get together at the end of the series and like, sure its romantic Percy cares enough to see her as his one weakness and such and like, the kiss was cute, but there's not much to go off them during PJO. Which leads to HOO, when we should see their relationship grow....but next to being home to Rick's constant romances that either come off as forced or random or iffy, it was also home to....judo flip scene. Like up until Mark of Athena, Annabeth is said to be going crazy in her search to find Percy and is pissed when finding out Hera took him, but in Mark of Athena....we told that ANY actions from the greeks to the romans can result in war and we built up to this reunion, and what do we get? A judo flip- and her blaming him for his own kidnapping- like he somehow told Hera to kidnap him from his own life.

Like.....HOW- did Rick not re-read the first two before that reunion??? All it did was sour Percabeth further, as Annabeth isn't called out at all, no near war happens cause...Reyna is fine with him being flipped??? Like, can we not romantize violence in relationships cause its a girl doing it?? This is literally apart of Rick's problem with writing female characters in HOO in general, but like, Annabeth really suffered the most, as did Percabeth the most, as we meant to ship them but they literally make Percy's entire life about her and even have Annabeth casually wonder if Percys dating Hazel in brief jealously...cause its normal to assume your 17 year old boyfriend is dating this 13 year old.

And like, I haven't really read House of Hades yet- I'm still suffering Mark of Athena lmao- or Blood of Olympus, but from spoilers I do have, Rick's endgame for them is....joining this wtf camp and being away from Percy's home and mom who Rick forgot when replacing his whole life being about Annabeth and its just....wha.....

Like, if they had been better written, I would be chill with them, but in their current state, no, but unlikely Rick will fix his romance writing unless he somehow got better in time for Daughter of The Deep if there's romance in that one..... I mean it can count as motivation to write a better main romance....aka me with my PJ OCs fics...but its also probably why I'm meh with working on my PJ next gen alot lol

I like this one, because it could be done several times.

Annabeth, Nico and Leo are autistic. I will die on this hill. Yes, I get they are canonically ADHD, but they show ALOT of autism traits. Could it be me as an autistic person projecting onto three of my favorite characters? Probably.

To go along with this, Annabeth is pretty good at masking, so she probably got diagnosed in her adult years, after encouragement from Percy.

Nico also got diagnosed later in life, after talking to Will about it. He is hesitant at first, especially because autism in the 40’s was seen differently as it is now.

Leo is probably the most visibly neurodivergent character, but most psychologists simply think it’s ADHD. When he gets diagnosed with autism, he feels like something makes more sense than it did when it was just ADHD.

After Piper became head counselor, she brought her siblings closer together, similarly to how close we saw the Hephaestus and Apollo cabins. I think Piper would have a decent relationship with her mom compared to others.

Jason can play the fucking guitar. That’s it, that’s the headcanon.

Percy would 100% not be a marine biologist... not that I couldn’t see that... but I feel like he’d work with kids with special needs, or become an advocate for neurodivergent kids in general.

Frank learned how to dance for Hazel one time, and now he can’t stop. He loves to dance, and takes lessons in his free time.

Hazel is the kind of person who would get all the younger campers presents for the holidays and pretend to be “Santa.”

If Reyna didn’t join the Hunters, I feel like she’d be a foster mother.

percy: no, bc i feel like i’d b like “i hate my mom” or say “i hate women” mockingly to a friend right after arguing with a bigot in history class abt equal rights and he’d overhear me and be like “u shouldnt say that :/ she probably worked very hard for u n women deserve to have the same rights as everyone else” and i’d stand there n b like homie ik i was making fun of the guy and i literally do not have a good relationship with my mom but he’d go on n on about it. i’d purposefully avoid him for like a week after until he forgets abt it

annabeth: i think i’d try and bite her and she’d try to bite me back during gym class, but we’d partner up in math bc she has a hard time with algebra, so i’d help her n she does the same for me in geometry. other than that we dont talk much but we do have each other on our private stories bc she thinks im funny and i think she tells weird stories and the tiktoks she posts on there are good

jason: yes, i’d follow him around during gym class, run the mile with him, and partner up with him in every group project. i’d never go to his house n he’d never come to mine though. everyday i’d probably walk over to his lunch table and give him something i bought from 7-11 and he’d give me his least favourite part of his lunch that i enjoy. i’d also text him like “hey what do we do for this project” n he’d say it was due 4 weeks ago but tell me what to do anyways

piper: no, but i’d admire her from afar. shed steal a car or get suspended for a few days, come back, and i’d b like “shes so cool i wish i was her friend”, but i’d never actually talk to her and everytime id go to jasons table shed be laughing at a joke leo said and i’d be like wow i love her outfit shes so cool and then go back to my table without saying anything to her lol

leo: yes, he’d be the annoying kid who moans in the back of class and i’d laugh every single time. we’d probably walk to and from lunch together and he’d say “watch me hit this door frame!” and i’d stand there and watch him hit it and then i’d b like “ok ok my turn watch me do a cartwheel!” and do it and we’d both laugh and get in trouble for being loud in the hallways

hazel: i feel like she’d be on the student council. i’d get put in the student council room for study hall bc my teachers thought i’d like it and i’d be like i literaly dont want to do this. she’d try and convince me to stay and join student council but i’d sit there like :| also i’d follow her on all social media platforms because i think shes nice and i think shes talented at drawing but i’d still be a little bit ticked off abt the student council thing

frank: tbh i wouldnt know he exists :/ i’d recognise him from when hazel tried to get me to join student council and i’d see him around, but we wouldnt have any classes together and i wouldnt know his name

nico: we would have the same study hall. i’d see him in the corner and think he looks cool and then id try to follow him around and he’d just let me. i’d talk ALOT and he’d just sit there and listen even though he has no clue what im saying. we’d eat lunch together because on this block he doesnt have lunch with will and he knows ill listen to him when he talks shit abt the ppl he doesnt like and i’d b like yea same we r like the same person n laugh and he���d smile and then ask abt what episode im watching on an anime we both like

reyna: no, bc i scribbled something on her paper once bc i thought it’d b funny if she came back to the desks to see squidward on her paper. she came back said what the hell and i was like lol :p and when we had to rate our deskmates she gave me a 4/10 for distracting everyone during work times and generally being annoying to her

thalia: yea, we’d bond over music taste and she’d take me to concerts. she probably gave me weed once and said to be careful with it. she’d act like a big sister to me and i’d cry at her graduation and make her promise to text me

grover: popular girls would call him their bestfriend but bully him behind his back. percy confronted them abt it once and i saw it n went damn im not going to touch that with a ten foot pole bc i think grovers nice plus he helps me in class but also hes percys bestfriend and i do Not want to step between those two

clarisse: we wouldnt be close friends, but i’d definitely get along with her. we’d probably hangout after school and just talk shit abt the ppl we dont like and i’d probably accidentally give her ideas for pranks

will solace: i definitely saw him while he was at a club n went wow hes pretty. i probably even had a little crush on him until one day at lunch when nico mentions his boyfriend will and im like wait a minute. from there on out i tease him and see him as a little brother tho
