Oh...okay so, that's kind of embarrassing, but you're sending me this literally two days after I accidentally deleted my phone page with all my fanfics links and bookmarks...so there's that

But I remember most of my favorites titles so I found them back (and also because there are so little rare pjo ships fics it wasn't that hard)

Where did I talk about this fic? The context and date could help me find the one you're talking about.

But for the one I already found again there's Permanent Swap and its associated drables, Masks (careful angst ahead) and Behind the Front that doesn't match exactly with your summary but which I love a lot.

I absolutely hate these kinds of posts so I thought I'd do it to see first hand how many people actually like it and care about other people's opinions on their ships so...

my arbitrary ratings of non canon pjoverse relationships and why I think they would never work (or would) (scroll down for canon)

perachel: 3/10 nothing but platonic vibes, their brief stint felt more like an experiment than genuine romantic feelings or attraction; they both deserved better

percico: 1/10 a reiteration of an earlier post: their relationship would get bogged down by unshared feelings and grief, plus nico's crush was just a crush, and percy never had feelings in the first place

perlypso: 0/10 their whole interaction was percy being half dead and calypso being manipulated, not to mention she cursed him

pereyna: 2/10 any het relationship with reyna feels icky to me, she just seems so queer coded (which makes sense cause she literally joined an ace club), and percy was so focused on annabeth when they first met it just doesn't seem fair to either of them

pipercy: 4/10 this is a FRIENDSHIP I wanna see them figuring out they're bi together so much platonic potential

jercy: 7/10 honestly if I had to put these two with anyone else, I would choose this ship solely for the tension in mark of athena and that an alternate ship name is person

percypollo: 0/10 icky, pedophilic, and honestly kinda homophobic. percy would never enter a relationship with a god anyway

percy/literally any god: 0/10 see percypollo

lukercy: -1/10 imo there is no way to write this in a way that's not abusive, predatory, and just bad in general. i will not take the "enemies to lovers" storyline for this one either because there are some things that just aren't redeemable, and i consider luke's actions irredeemable. plus both their histories with annabeth make this ship very, very icky

pipabeth: 9/10 favorite non canon pairing, I can totally see a threesome with Percy, these two have such a great dynamic, only minus a point because I love percabeth too much

lukabeth: 0/10 sexist, icky, just all around a red flag

jasabeth: 2/10 nothing but platonic vibes

reynabeth: 4/10 they would be so powerful together, but feelings and emotional skills would be their undoing

jeyna: 0/10 see pereyna

leyna: 2/10 sibling vibes and see pereyna

theyna: 8/10 see reynabeth, but also I would love to see their similarities come to a head when they actually have to confront their feelings

apollo/reyna: 0/10 this is a thing?? ew???? reyna has such a huge issue with authority and the gods in general, it would never work, and see pereyna and percypollo

pipeyna: 7/10 would be good, but I need more info, though I think it would bring piper's jealousies to a nice full circle, especially if it was used in a way that helps piper figure out her sexuality

liper: 3/10 sibling vibes, I do not like

jiper: 5/10 that's right y'all, this isn't canon anymore! cute while it lasted, but they were completely made up and forced together by hera. that does not make a good, trusting relationship where one party is missing crucial details and the other remembers things that didn't happen, honestly i would have much rather they just ended it in lost hero when they realized hera was manipulating them

thaluke: 3/10 so much complicated history, I see them as ross and rachel from friends only worse

valgrace: 6/10 platonic mostly, but I can see it turning into something; I think they could definitely be good for each other; would love to see some healing centered stuff for them

valdangelo: 0/10 they barely interact, and their personalities are not the cute "opposites attract" it is straight up "we are both intensely traumatized, but in different, incredibly clashing ways"

haleo: 4/10 I can see it, but with sammy, it's just too complicated

fraleo: 5/10 I like the tension, but ultimately their personalities would clash too much

frazeleo: 10/10 this might be the only non canon ship I really wish was canon. separate, they are boring and clash with each other so much, but I think having the three of them together would provide a buffer when necessary while also keeping things fun and interesting

jasico: 3/10 very much a sibling relationship, seems to me like they were just shoved together because they were there

tratie: 10/10 floors me that they aren't canon

sally/poseidon: 2/10 sure it would work but she is an independent woman who wants less a man and more someone to love her and be there for her that isn't her son

ruegard: 8/10 would 100% ship it if i didn't love beckengard so much, plus i love the patrochilles parallels here

canon ships in order from least favorite to favorite:

zeus/hera: -10/10 sucks ass, their relationship is built on mistrust and a forced marriage, hera is quite literally shackled while zeus does whatever the hell he feels like while hera takes her anger out on anyone but him

god's/any of their affairs: 0/10 there's a reason none of them lasted

piper/shel: 4/10 another reiteration: ig it could be something, but it was literally a few paragraphs, and we know piper is experimenting with her sexuality, so it could be anything, not just a permanent romantic ship

caleo: 4/10 calypso needs some time to figure herself out and not be chained to a person or place; maybe they can try again after they both have some more life experience

frazel: 6/10 cute, but they're still pretty young, even by pjo standards, and compared to the other canon ships they're kinda dull imo, but i do love the awkwardness

beckengard: 9/10 absolutely love it, wartime romance, tension, dying for each other, trying for elysium for each other, only minus a point because one of them was a spy

sally/paul: 9/10 i love it, i'm so glad sally finally found a decent man, only minus a point because...adults

gruniper: 9/10 very cute, would be 10/10 but the start of their relationship felt kinda wonky to me like rick just wanted to pair grover with someone

solangelo: 10/10 adorable, checks all my boxes - opposites attract, healing from trauma, one extrovert one introvert, there is absolutely no downside

percabeth: 11/10 the OGs, the ship i use as a standard for all of my other ships no matter the fandom, still my absolute favorite ship, there was not a single bad track, they are so good for each other

Alright, let's see what my ships are... (In order of how much I love them) if characters aren't both either adults or teens, I am imagining them both as such

Dsmp: Everything, really, but c!awesamdream is my fav, with dreambur and drunz tied for second

Pjo: Jasico, Reynapollo, Lukercy, Lukethan, Valdangelo, Pereyna, Pipabeth, Leo and Hazel, and Percabeth in last, it's only here bc nostalgia.

Star Wars prequels: ANIDALA, Luxsoka, Kashoka/Lartano

Star Wars OT: Vaguely like every ship? Especially Luke x a man. All of them. I'm really more into the familial/platonic relationships for the PT and OT

Sequels!: REYLO!!! Gingerpilot, Finnrose, Finnpoe

Atla: Zutara, Zukaang, Sokkla, Yuekka, Tokka, Zuki, Jetko, Kataang (they weren't bad, I just preferred their friendship+other ships), Tyzula, Jinko, and most other ships I like

My hero academia: I don't go here but I really like Bakudeku!

For other fandoms, I really just like the canon ships! (Owl House, Amphibia, etc or I just don't feel like typing the one ship I like from every media I've liked

rating non-canon riordanverse ships (!!this is based on nothing but personal preference and how i see the characters relationships!!)

jeyna: 100000/10 my fav. soulmates. should have ended up together. definition of a tragedy and wasted potential

liper: 10/10 also a very very solid ship. after jeyna ended up together these two shouldve. they have such a good dynamic

leyna: 7/10 ONLY BECAUSE THERES ONE ART WHERE HE ACCIDENTALLY BURNS HER AND ITS SO CUTE AND MAKES MY HEART FULL

pipeyna: 6/10 feel like they would be so powerful but they really dont interact that much in the books but their dynamic could be cool

valgrace: 8/10 super super solid, could see the bromance dropping the b, they would be so cute and would joke around

valdangelo: 2/10 im like 90% sure nico doesnt like leo but that’s besides the point i just feel like their vibes dont really match

jasico: 0/10 i think their dynamic is just not like this and it’s more of a friendship for me so i cant really see the romance

percico: -1/10 i havent ever liked this ship but tbh its hard for me to ship percy with anyone other than annabeth- anyways this also isnt how i see their relationship

jercy: 4/10 idk they could be cute but i just feel like percabeth also low key feel like theyd argue alot for some reason

pereyna: 4/10 not a huge fan because they were both confused and their worlds were tipped upside down in SoN but i think they have the potential for a really strong friendship

perachel: 9/10 their friendship was so cute in pjo and if it weren’t for beth id have wanted him to end up with her they were so cute

perlypso: 3/10 not a huge fan because of how she cursed him also the fact that he was basically dead but they def had some chemistry for a second

pipercy: 4/10 good potential for a friendship but i feel like theyd make way too much chaos for a good relationship

pipabeth: 9/10 so cute absolutely love it their friendship is top notch and their dynamic could be soo cool

jasabeth: 2/10 just not a fan but they would def have a lot in common to bond over but i think that at the end of the day they aren’t right for eachother

reynabeth: 9/10 theyre so powerful i wouldnt be able to handle it but oh my GOD can you imagine they would rule the world

theyna: 9/10 if i cant have jeyna i would settle for theyna because tbh they’re already good friends and it would just be cool to see them be like jo and emmie

apolloxreyna: 3/10 okay listen. they could have been cute but ONLY if apollo stayed in mortal form because reyna wouldnt have dated a god but also i feel like that would be a very dicy relationship with lots of arguments

tratie: 1000/10 they own me and they should’ve ended up together, it is absolutely incredible that one of the most famous ships was created by fans

litpollo: 10/10 i love this they could have been so cute ugh it was such an apollo thing to do to fall in love with everyone he saw omh

hazel x leo: 3/10 could have been cute, feel like its low key creepy she dated his grandfather though so not really vibing with it for them

frank x leo: 0/10 didnt know this was a thing, frank did NOT like leo, i feel like they dont have that much healthy interaction

This is sort of random, but one of my most obscure ships is Percy and Reyna. I’m not sure why, but for some reason I love the idea of those two together.

THEY ARE A GREAT SHIP. I love Percy and Reyna, it's one of my favorite Percy/girl ships; I loved their dynamic as praetors with each other, I generally love Reyna as a character she's my second favorite female character (after Clarisse <3 love my war girls <3<3<3) and ships just sail smoother if I love both characters in it ;D

Annabeth's POV

There is pattern that terrifies me.

All that ever dared to love Percy, lost themselves.

They placed him on a golden pedestal so high they couldn't reach him themselves. Turning them into a religion that they would blindly follow to their doom.

It angrez me. Who is he to bring people to their knees, people who are so much more than that. They could bring down the world on their knees. But instead here they are, and here I am. So yes it angrez me and terrifies me, makes me want to grab him and ask him, why?

Why couldn't he just have let them go?

Except then I would answer the question myself. It isn't his fault. He never asked for this, to be a god, to be anyone's god. The whole idea of God and devotee is something so bizarre. How could you devote yourself to something that you can't even comprehend? He is as innocent in this as those who loved him are.

But that doesn't changes the fact that he never let them go. Even in his ignorance, he broke them, tore them to shred, made them a shell of who they are, and then took one thing that he had found most appealing from them, leaving them to put together the pieces that were left.

But they would never be complete.

They aren't broken, they are all strong. Weak hearted ones would have never dared to love someone like Percy. So they aren't broken, they learnt to live without him.

But at the same time they would never be the same.

Rachel. It was her mortality that drew Percy and her brutal honesty in the time when everybody spoke in riddles. They are both gone now.

Calypso. His biggest what if. And what exactly made the great Perseus Jackson doubt himself. Her simpleton life. Away from everything. From the fast paced world. I imagine a cave and a garden and them being so sweet and ... Domestic.

She now roams the world, learning the chaotic way of the humans. Blending in so seamlessly with us bizzare people, it is hard to connect with Percy's account of what he perceived of her.

Reyna. A leader. Just like Percy. So flawless in the way she wields power. Even for the few moments I saw them side by side, I could imaging them rulling together. They could conquer the world if they wanted to.

And now she is free from the burdon of praetorship. Away from her desperate quest for love.

And Nico. I was never there to know the Nico that Percy wanted to protect. But I do know Percy wanted to save Nico from the same fate that he had. He didn't wanted his childhood stolen so fast. The sweet innocence, in big brown eyes and the naive smile that he would eagerly bestow on the world to be gone.

Look where it got us. He is everything Percy had wanted to save him from. Everything that Percy is beneath all the layers and so much worse. Long gone is the innocent boy.

It makes me wonder what I would become when he is done with me.
