Winter headcanons!

Peppino: Can't stand the cold, either. He has a better tolerance to cold than heat, though. Will bundle up with every piece of clothing he owns just to stay warm. Definitely gets seasonal depression, this poor old man can't catch a break.

Gustavo: Is neutral about the cold. A bit of a cool breeze makes him happy, but negative temperatures make him bitter. However, warm weather means soup and hot cocoa season! He also gets to wear all of his favorite sweaters! And he LOVES Christmas!

Mr. Stick: Absolutely DESPISES the cold. No matter what he wears, he's freezing. He can't last more than 5 minutes without getting frostbite. He prefers to stay inside in the heat. The cold makes him a but cranky.

Pepperman: Doesn't like the cold. Anything below 40°F (sorry, I'm american, and I don't know celcius) will make him fatigued. Plants don't do too well in the cold, and he is no exception. He would rather light himself on fire than go out in the cold. Has tried to build snowmans of himself, only to nearly die from frostbite.

The Vigilante: Not too keen of the winter. The cold makes his body more solid and harder to move. Lower temperatures means he has to work harder on the farm to keep things going smoothly. But, much like Gustavo, he's a fan of hot soup and cocoa.

The Noise: While he doesn't like being in the cold, he loves sleeping in it. Other than that, he absolutely hates winter. There's a reason he had the NTV tower built in the desert. He probably gets seasonal depression. Tries to hibernate by sleeping surrounded by blankets and snacks. Fails.

Noisette: Another hater of the cold. But she does like winter activities. Ice skating, playing in the snow, and Christmas!! She finally gets to wear all of her favorite sweaters. She also enjoys staying in and snuggling up in thick, fuzzy blankets. Unfortunately, The Noise is hogging most of them. This doesn't stop her from taking them.

Fake Peppino: No! No cold! No like! He does not like the cold at all! It makes him feel icky! He thought snow was pretty until he stepped in it. It was cold, too! He will refuse to go outside until it gets warmer. Frogs do not like the cold!

Pizzaface: Likes the cold. His gears run smoothly without overheating. He likes to throw dangerously giant snowballs at people. Sometimes, it results in casualties. He doesn't care. He thinks it's funny.

Pizzahead: He tolerates the cold. It sucks sometimes, but there's also a lot of good and fun things that come with it. He likes having snowball fights, building snowmen, build igloos, ice skating, and all sorts of fun things. He just can't stay in it too long, or he'll freeze solid.

Pillar John: Not too keen on the cold. It doesn't really phase him much since he's made of rocks, but he's still not a big fan. He's been a victim of Pizzaface's giant snowballs. That's how he got some of his cracks.

Gerome: Couldn't care less. The cold doesn't bother him since he's also made of stone. In fact, it makes good sleeping weather. He doesn't understand why some people hate it. Of course, he's immune to freezing to death, soooo...

More miscellaneous She-Ra pins I found while sorting through Pinterest that made me want to die and my commentary on them. Pt. 1

Idk if this is a joke about Catra hurting Adora, or a joke about Adora ‘letting’ Catra hurt her. Either way, I don’t like it. I really feel like this is another ‘Adora=Dumb’ jokes.

Congratulations, you found the only four frames of Adora smiling in this scene, amongst a sea of shots of her being visibly uncomfortable. Personally, I don’t see it as a smile, more of her trying to put on a brave or determined face. But you could also easily chalk these frames up to an animation error. Not that a C//A Stan would listen. You get the idea.

A lot of people say Catra is trying to make Adora jealous here. Nevermind the fact that both her and Catra are teens here, and Entrapta is in her late 20s/early 30s. Also, I find it odd how touchy Catra is and how much she manipulates Entrapta. If the ages were reversed, Catra would look like some sort of ephebophile or groomer. But Entrapta is the adult, and autistic. I’m not sure what that’s to imply. All I know is to me, it reads like a weird situation where the teen is being a predator to the adult, because the adult is autistic and therefore ‘younger’ than the teen. I’m not sure who wrote Catra and Entrapta’s interactions or if they realize how fucked up it is, least of all a show for kids. But suffice to say, I don’t like it.

This one is a fun little exception. I don’t hate the meme itself. But I do hate the fact that it’s right. 2018 Sea Hawk on his own is fine, but I’ll now and forever be slightly pissed off knowing that OG Sea Hawk was a badass, and now we have an arsonist who can’t take anything seriously and who’s only motivation for anything is Mermista. I’m not saying the new SH is bad, but I am saying the OG one is a million times better for numerous reasons.

Another case of sexualizing a minor. And would you look at that, it specifically says ‘small Adora’. Good God, they’re getting younger. I honestly can’t think of a better way they could indirectly say they’re doing this on purpose. Summer. I hate the extreme heat and the bugs and the sweating but I love the long daylight hours. It used to be fall but I just don’t like the cold lol. Late August-mid September is probably my favourite time of year (or May-June in Toronto if it’s not freezing cold like it can be).

Hello, hello! May I request a matchup for Stardew Valley please? I use she/her pronouns and am more interested in the bachelors. I'm 5'7", Virgo, ISFP, and a night owl. I have dark brown eyes and the same color for my hair which is shoulder-length which I like to keep tied into a tucked-in bun. My hobbies include drawing, playing video games, watching anime/films, and listening to horror fiction podcasts. I also used to keep a dream diary which would serve as creative inspirations.

I initially tend to be quiet and reserved but once I get acquainted with someone, I am actually quite open and can ramble on and on about certain subjects. Even so, if I am in a group, I'll mostly stay quiet. Because I'm more of a listener and can be quite understanding and honest with others, I think that's why friends often confide in me and I try my best to offer advice and consolation even though I personally am not great with words and am terrified of accidentally offending others. Despite this, I can curse like a sailor if I am annoyed (and I'm usually patient so if I'm ticked off, I'm go off like a bomb).

I am not an active person at all nor do I have enough stamina. Like if I go out somewhere and come back home, even for a simple errand, that is it, I need to stay in and recharge for the rest of the day. I dislike crowded areas so I actually prefer to stay in during weekends and chill. Other major flaws I have is that I keep seeking valdiation from others and am lack self-confidence. Sometimes I can be self-conscious and sometimes I'm just tired and don't give a crap. My work & sleep schedule and balance is all over the place especially because once I start working on something that I'm really immersed in, it's hard for me to give myself a break until it's done.

Some favorites and more preferences.. Even though I should be more compatible with cats, I adore dogs, especially the bigger breeds (but I still like cats too!). My favorite season is autumn (jacket & hoodie season! apple cider & pie! and Halloween!!) while least favorite is summer (I hate HATE humidity & mosquitos are my archnemesis). I like all sorts of foods but I gravitate towards cheesy, spicy foods and noodles (must have pickled side dishes). I am very selective with seafood and am not much of a drinker (though I will occasionally enjoy beer especially when paired with fried chicken). My favorite flower in the game is the fairy rose because it looks similar to my actual fave flower ranunculus. My ideal date would either be staying in with a dinner & movie or a peaceful afternoon walk at a park or alongside a riverbank.

So I started the OrangeJuiceVerse timeline at sophomore year of high school bc as I’ve said, ojverse hinges on healing, and freshman year may have been when Stan and Kyle got together, but that was a veeerrrryyy rough year for him. I vague about his eating disorder in some of the fics, but I’ll never go into detail, however, right now, I wanna talk about the moment mentioned here, when Stan references Ky admitting his issues with control manifesting in the form of eating problems.

So during the summer before the boys start hs, Kyle’s super fuckin stressed. Like his dad made one casual stupid comment about how “high school sets the tone for the rest of your life” and Kyle, who definitely reads way too far into the things people say, ran with that. He never wants to fail, at anything, ever. He put soooo much pressure on himself to succeed. Like they aren’t even in 9th grade yet and he’s spending his summer trying to get ahead and the guys are trying to get him to come hang out but Kyle’s so insistent that he needs to be in all the AP classes and already know everything, and he struggles with science but at this point he wants to be a doctor so that’s another stressor, and he feels like he’s running out of time when he isn’t. And he can’t control the feeling of panic, or (this is in his head btw his parents aren’t totally on his ass abt it) the pressure he feels. He’s so scared of disappointing them and not being their Perfect son, and it’s so irrational bc Sheila and Gerald really aren’t trying to control his life, but Kyle feels out of control. So he turns to the only thing he thinks he has control over.

Eating.

And ojv Kyle is diabetic. He absolutely should NOT be restricting his intake or ignoring what his body needs. Plus, he’s an actively growing teenage boy. But he wants to control something. And Kyle is competitive as fuck. He starts competing with himself to see how little he can eat without anyone noticing. He’s so incredibly smart and absolutely knows what he’s doing is wrong, and the rest of the main 5 know somethings up, because Kyle would usually never hesitate to go join them to throw rocks at boats in the quarry, but he never wants to anymore. He skips Randy’s 4th of July bbq that year not only bc he hates Randy, but because all the food there scares the fuck out of him. Stan may not be the most observant person, but he fucking KNOWS his super best friend. Somethings going on, but Kyle waves him off when he asks.

High school starts. Kyle spends lunch period in the computer lab. Then, a few months later around September or October, after school at off season basketball practice, he is feeling really awful, stumbling over to the bench, but doesn’t make it. He passes the fuck out. Do his teammates call 911? Do they call his mom? No. They call Stan. Stan knows Kyle better than anyone ever could.

Like Stan’s just on the other side of the school with his own extracurricular (recycling club) and he picks up the phone like “hey Tolkien what’s up” “it’s Kyle” and he fucking BOLTS and finds his favorite person being held up by half the basketball team while he blinks at them all barely conscious. That’s when they find out he’s diabetic, and they think it’s just that.

Stan absolutely freaks (but in true Stan Fashion, his mantra is “Kyle first panic later”) and takes him over to the locker room, he still thinks this is a normal low, but he senses it’s more than that. So he swings his backpack to the front to grab the juice he keeps just in case and he’s like “dude you’re always really good about keeping an eye on your levels what’s going on?” And Kyle stares at him for a second, and like everyone’s noticed his clothes getting baggy on him, everyone has seen that he doesn’t eat when the guys order pizza while they’re hanging out. But Stan connects the dots finally. “Oh,dude.”

And Kyle, who is the LAST of the 5 to break down into tears, is crying, and he tells Stan that he’s fucking scared, he didn’t mean for it to get so bad, and he’s ranting about how none of his clothes fit him anymore, he’s begging Stan not to tell Sheila, saying that he doesn’t know how to stop, and Stan is so upset because yeah he knew Ky was stressing himself out but not to THIS point. They leave their after school clubs early with Stan making Kyle promise to eat at dinner and not make an excuse to take a few bites and go work on something, and Stan goes home and Sharon is right there when Stan starts crying as he walks through the door. And he tells his mom everything.

A few days later, Kyle’s knocking at Stan’s door. And he throws his arms around him and just whispers “thank you.” Because turns out Sharon told Sheila and the Broflovskis looked into what their son was dealing with and found him an outpatient program, they took him to the doctor and were horrified that he’s so physically unwell, and he’s gonna be out of in person school for nearly a month, but Kyle DOES want to get better. He’s kicking ass in online classes and the zoom calls with his therapist every day are really helpful to break down the motivation behind the ed, and Stan, because he can’t go a single day without seeing Kyle and not having him in the desk beside him his excruciating, brings him flowers from Sharon’s garden every goddamn day.

One afternoon, Stan goes over and they’re in Kyle’s bed, Kyle is a lot better mentally and physically but Stan’s still hesitant bc he’s still a little fragile, but this is Kyle, the strongest person he knows. And that’s when his simp ass is like “dude, I’m so sorry if this is weird, but I’m fucking in love with you.”

And Kyle’s so shocked, bc these two are both oblivious losers and he didn’t know either, but he’s loved Stan right back, forever. “Holy shit you asshole. It took you this long to say something?” “Wait, you too?” and Kyle pulls him close. “Yeah, me too”

Shdgskaljk they’re just holding each other like that until Sheila comes in bc Kyle has a drs appointment (this is when he gets his dexcom) and she isn’t even phased by those two cuddling smh they’ve done that forever she’s just like “oh stanley you’re still here, anyway. honestly, picking a snippet was hard mainly bc so much scenes needed CONTEXT. but i think this can stand on its own :] even if i have a love-hate relationship with this fic, i still think there are just some scenes that never fail fo make me smile (just like this!)

it’s a fic that is meant to be told through seasons, it explores themes of academic pressure and even aspirations—how jichang got to live the dreams be had in mins vs you who is constricted. a lot of gaps in the outline which is why i haven’t picked it up.

2. sunwoo summer love fic

crazy ass outline tbh!! its complete and very diff from what i usually write (this is really meant to be more romance-centric… i guess thats why ive been putting it off) but its just this whole idea of reader being the non-commitment type while sunwoo is the one who actually does want smth with u if ud ever consider!! i love it bc i really think sunwoo is soooo the type for commitment and past all the typical player vibes. he is just a sweet boy who is a hopeless romantic (who cant help but still be flirty!!)

3. jacob angst f2s2ls fic

i dont want to spoil anything too major abt this one mainly bc its smth ive been trying to work very hard on :3 just know it explores themes of forgiveness, grief, and being lost in ur late 20s </3 very much an angstier fic out of everything ive posted so far

this is for those who need a guide, who are lost, who are struggling mentally, i’m giving you the real talk.🎀

no matter how far you are from your goals, no one deserves to put themselves down or abuse themselves. it’s not needed to achieve your dream. all you need to do is focus on the nutrition and exercise, by putting your attention to the quality of the food your eating, and eating real foods. by what I mean “real”- food an animal would consider food. forget the diet soda’s, junk protein bars, and tasteless depressing rice cakes. no fit and happy person eats like this. nourish your body with foods like this: good quality meats for protein (beef, chicken, turkey), healthy fats (eggs, greek yoghurt, quality cheeses, plain or just salted nuts) and fiber (fruits and veggies in season, organic is best) and also real loaves of bread (not the packaged sugary junk on the selves) and quality pasta’s, potatoes etc. this food with NOURISH and HEAL your body. this is the optimal human diet- plenty of variety and balance and all so good for you. you know that feeling in summer where you have that first sip of water and feel 10x better? yeah, your body will thank you the same way when you start eating real food <3

okay, once we have nutrition down, now we have exercise!

something you can be relieved over: immense tiring cardio won’t give you that fit toned look, because you’re not building any muscle. some lighter cardio, even walking, aerobics, sports, is excellent for your health and fitness, but it can’t tone you up the same as: STRENGTH TRAINING 🎀

This will be your new best friend, do some research on your own to find out your favorite type etc but generally you need to build some muscle to get that toned look of your dreams! A solid plan is this-

• 3 nourishing meals a day (general nice rule is to eat until you’re just full, u could eat a little more but you’re absolutely content. nothing to feel bad about!)

• 3/4x a week strength training- full body weighted (dumbbells!) 30-45mins

• some cardio you like, maybe aerobics, running, sports, anything!

some fun tips for the end:

-average gal needs about 6/7 cups of water a day, you don’t need to drink soooo much!

-it’s one of the most important things in life, sleeping. the most beautiful models sleep a lot, you need it.

-being kind to yourself with words, self-hate might temporarily motivate you but over time you’ll become your own bully </3

I think in theory I love the idea of watching the survival show but for basically all the reasons you mentioned, I’m not sure I’d actually like it that much… if that makes any sense. As a 2minner I think it would just make me too sad lol, the clip of Seungmin crying haunts me, and yes agreed on not loving seeing them as 9. I’ve only ever known them as 8 so it just.. has never felt right for me?

I finally finished my finale episode and frankly… this show is very confusing idk if I really recommend it to anyone unless you like hot people and monsters lol. They left it on a cliffhanger bc it’s coming back next summer so😫😫 I have to wait

I’m also not usually fast at watching things and I’m kind of notorious for.. never finishing them lol. Also I’m soooo indecisive so unless you chose one I’d probably just wander around Netflix until I stumble upon something I’ve already seen and just do a rewatch 😅 I love the idea of watching things with people I’m just soooo bad at it

yes i know the clip of seung crying is so heartbreaking and the fact neither of them have openly cried like that since the elimination makes me so so upset. i hate seeing them sad :((((( but i guess if you get to see the fun parts from clips and stuff then it’s not like you’re missing out much! you’re just saving yourself some tears sksjs

Hey, HELP A GIRL OUT PLEASE i’m stuck in the love triangle with Suresh and Alfie. I KNOW! I’M DOWN BAD BUT hear me out. I actually really liked Alfie in the beginning and wasn’t even thinking about Suresh (hated him to be exact) but we all know what happened how the season progressed. Plus i’ve been reading y’all’s theories and everything on here and yeah that resulted in this. I literally tried to make myself hate Suresh over the past two months so bad but god dammit i just can’t do it 😭Every damn time when i was finally like okay there’s no way i’m taking him back (especially after i found out about Gabi coming in, their relationship and him switching to Lulu from the scripts) i open tumblr AND IT’S BACK AGAIN. Alfie looked like a way better option to me even after kissing Kat but recoupling with Meera after Casa was my last straw. Suresh on the other hand… we know damn well what was happening in the last 2 months. We all figured that in this season we simply gotta pick the least bad option so i feel like they’re both as bad as each other and i just don’t know who to go for. Plus their routes are literally 👏mirroring👏.These theories about them feeling like they don’t deserve MC break my heart even though they did her well dirty. Final recoupling is probably about to be next week and i’m over here on the biggest fence ever. I know it’s probably not a good idea asking this here (where a lot of Suresh stans are) but i would be beyond grateful if you could look at it objectively and try to find some advice 😭coz i’m dying over here. OK girly i'm going to try soooo hard to be impartial but I'm so not an Alfie girl so this may prove difficult for me 😩😬.

I also want to preface this by saying that when I was coupled with Alfie I took full advantage of that coupling to make Suresh jealous and I actually did start to like him. I found him super endearing and I felt bad that I was going to break his little heart...that is until he Cherrygated me 😡. And look did I kiss Suresh? Yeah I absolutely did! But Alfie wouldn't even wait two seconds to hear me out. And I've seen other girls post on here who did NOT kiss Suresh and when you didn't kiss him you had an option to tell Alfie nothing happened and he still didn't hear you out. BOO!!! I just also feel like with Alfie some of his words and actions don't line up. He tells you one day he wants to take things slow and the very next day is asking to do bits? He tells you two days in row he wants to end the summer with you, you're his only girl but then he kisses Kat and 2 days after that brings Meera back and is suddenly all about Meera. IDK for me... There just hasn't been enough of a redemption arc for Alfie like there has been for Suresh. And I'll get into his misgivings now. Suresh comes into the villa incredibly unapologetic and extremely cocky. It's clear he thinks that he's got this in the bag and he's going to win MC back, that these guys have absolutely no chance. But MC proves to be a bigger challenge than he originally anticipated and he's forced to deal with ALL of his demons. Suresh thinks he's changed before Arlo comes in but he obviously hasn't hes still acting the exact same way he was before. MC kisses/flirts with Alfie? He does the same with Arlo. He flirts with MC while with Arlo, which in it of itself is a dick move to both women (I mean I loved it...but im being impartial here It was a dick move) Then the whole casa speech. We all loved it but then NOTHING. We were all left scratching our heads confused like WTF happened to this man?? We all came up with theories to explain his odd behavior after Casa but then this week he confirmed our suspicions that he was hurting, he was struggling hard, but most of all he was SORRY. This man has never been this apologetic, this self-loathing without wanting anything in return. this man has properly changed, there's been growth and character development (I mean as much as there can be for a pixel game). I just dont feel like we see the same for Alfie.

But again take this info knowing I am not an Alfie girly. You may find an Alfie girly out there who will give you 845 reasons why he's redeemable and has had growth. 💖

ok gonna post one more thing I was thinking about last night and then hopefully maybe pleeeeease I will shut up about. that show. wait actually that's immediately not true I'm gonna make a post right now because unfortunately as cringe and terrible it is I HAVE to say it I need it on record amongst all the hating and I need to say something true and beautiful. I guess 🙄 um anyway the thing is that show fucking blows and it's evil and has been soooo bad to me but the reason it makes me feel so upset to the extent that I literally can't watch the new season is because kiara is the most important character I have ever attached to which I KNOW is extremely silly because she's paper thin and she's written by men and she's annoying and inconsistent and 90% of the audience just want her to make out with jj but it's just true. It's just true. being someone who tries so hard to be above it all and superior to be rational and worldly even if it makes you rude and boring and a bitch because if you're not better than everyone what are other than lonely. if you're not better than everyone than why are separate from any and everything. and you don't know what you want but everyone else seems to so you go along with it but you complain the whole time because you were always supposed to be strong and stubborn and opinionated but you're just so fucking tired. you miss when friendship felt like a bottomless well of joy and truth and you miss when summers felt like freedom and you miss when you thought you could be anything. and the environment hasn't change and your parents haven't changed and your friends haven't changed. YOU changed. you used to be so sure and then you weren't anymore. and you used to be fun and then you weren't anymore. and you used to be better and then you weren't anymore. sorry I think something about the terrible writing really hit home the transience of young adulthood and the festering superiority-inferiority-guilt-god complex of modern teenage girlhood. and also there are some very specific things there wrong with just me and her and that's between us I guess. and well so much of all of that is that you are different and not in a special way in a way that scares you and you can't say it and you can't think it and it could ruin everything but if you don't come out with it one of these days it's going to fucking kill you. she's why I don't have a weird complex about calling myself a lesbian now. btw. so it IS that serious. to ME. and now I have to say something fucked up which is that even after everything I'm glad the show exists because I met her and it drove me crazy and maybe it's all projection but I understand things about me because of it I never would've let see the light of day otherwise. so. whatever. peace and love on planet earth.

"IT'S DECORATIVE GOURD SEASON MOTHERFUCKERS!" Reggie shouted, pouncing on Alex' back. Alex, after years of being in Sunset Curve and thus used to Luke and Reggie's shenanigans, automatically caught him. He brought his hands under Reggie's thighs, hoisting him up in a piggy-back. Reggie beamed, hooking his chin over Alex' shoulder and clinging to him like a baby koala.

"It's what?" he asked, the words only now filtering through.

"It's decorative gourd season! I saw my first pumpkin today," Reggie explained. "Your boyfriend taught me that."

"My boyfriend taught you to swear?" Alex said, giving Willie a reproachful look.

"I'm pretty sure he knew the word 'motherfucker' before he met me, Hotdog," Willie said, amused. "It's a meme."

Willie had explained all what a meme was. Alex was still a little vague what the difference between a meme and a regular joke was, but apparently there were a lot of them now. Still, it was fun to make Julie wonder where the hell they'd learned about 'that's so sad Alexa play Despacito'.

Reggie adored the dramatic chipmunk and the word 'yeet'. Luke had taken 'anyway here's wonderwall' and ran with it, trotting it out every time Julie was annoyed with him over something. Alex' favourite was the sarcastic 'sure jan'. He got a lot of use out of that one.

"Also, how is it pumpkin season already? It's September. Isn't pumpkin season supposed to be October?"

"Hate to break it to you, hotdog, but Pumpkin Spice Latte season starts in august. People are like, really into fall these days."

"Wh-why?" Alex asked. This was LA. They didn't get fall. They had summer, and slightly less warm summer.

"Because it's spoopy season!" Reggie crowed. "And it's even better, because now we're ghosts! It's our season, Alex!"He wriggled so much that Alex dropped him on the couch. He did not use the word 'yeet', even if he did think it, maybe. Dammit, Reggie.

"It's like eighty degrees out," he said.

"Soooo, is that a no to going to a pumpkin patch, stealing some pumpkins, and floating them around with the words 'repent, homophobe' on them in the yard of a homophobic congressman?" Willie asked. Reggie turned to Alex, puppy eyes on full display.

"Well, I didn't say that," Alex muttered.

my favorite season is summer!!! Sometimes it does get too hot for me ngl, but I absolutely love it. I love it’s warmth and I love getting tan. My bday also falls in the summer so that’s an added bonus. I also really like to swim and go to the beach in the summer, and I like how much more daylight there is in summertime. I absolutely hate when it gets dark outside really early in the day.

🐶 - do you have any pets?

I don’t! And I’ve never had any either! I used to want a dog soooo badly when I was younger, but my parents said no lol. But honestly I don’t really feel like I missed out on much! I’m not even sure if I would want a pet in the future tbh 🤷‍♀️ sometimes parents know best. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely adore animals and literally used to volunteer at an animal shelter, but I don’t really know if I’d want to be a pet owner anymore. I guess time will tell :))))

Mostly uni, people (in a bad way), people (in a good way), feelings (in a bad and good way too), films, songs. But mostly uni and the course work hahahahs

Oops, I am gonna cry now hahaha.
