Hiii, I saw you do matchups so I was wondering if you could do a Stardew matchup!

My name is James and I’m male using he/him. I’ve got some mental struggles, so someone who is patient and will let me ramble on and on about nonsense is always nice. I’m just about to go into studies of horticulture as I enjoy caring for plants. I’m also really into things such as aquascaping, collecting old radios and CD players, and story based / farm based games (Minecraft, subnautica, COD campaigns).

I’m bisexual, and currently exploring the asexual spectrum (at the moment I’d say I’m demi). I have preferences for those bigger than me, myself being 5’6, and older whether it be by two years or more.

For personality, I would say I’m a bit of a yapper when I’m close to someone, usually about my latest character obsession or hyperfixation. And I get high jumps of energy at random, other times I’m more sleepy and laidback. Most friends would describe me to be like a cat because of that, alongside the facts I won’t stop knocking their stuff off tables and counters, alongside the fact that when I’m tired I tend to lean up against whoever’s closest. My MBTI is ISTJ if that helps at all.

I’ve seen this a few times while perusing the Stardew tag and thought it seemed fun! As such, I’m looking for a Stardew Valley match-up, if you will; I’ve no preference for the gender of the match up (bisexual nation RISE UP!!!)

I go by He/Him pronouns. I’m a chubby/stocky man who often jokes about being the “tallest man on earth” (complete lie) (But maybe I am telling the truth… you’ll never know). I am autistic and I suffer from and am medicated for depression and anxiety. Other illnesses, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, also run in my family, but I had never been professionally diagnosed with them. I have a debilitating phobia of dolls and some mannequins and puppets, to the point of nausea. I have chronic migraines.

I’m EXTREMELY heat intolerant, often times getting horribly ill when I do overheat. I take measures to make sure my room is always cool, and I even have some cool packs I rely on in the summer months.

According to MBTI (is that the right order for the abbreviation?) I’m an INFP. My big three astrological alignments are Pisces sun, Sagittarius moon, Taurus rising; however, my friends who are FAR more into astrology than I am say I seem more like an Aries sun (which is interesting, since I was born a week early— I would have actually been an Aries if I had been born on my actual due date).

I have only a few hobbies as of right now (video games, listening to music, and writing), but I have an abundance of new hobbies I would love to (and plan on!) getting into in the future (a couple include crocheting/knitting, building my own PC, and working/building with wood). I have a lot of struggles with reading, to a degree that makes me feel insecure a lot of the time; I worry it negatively effects my ability and love of writing, and it admittedly can feel a bit alienating at times when people I’m close with talk about the joy they get from reading.

I’m a BIG collector, to the point I don’t really consider it a hobby as much as I do a general part of my life; primarily, I collect stuffed animals! I sleep with a Snoopy Build a Bear every night, and get anxious when I don’t have him in my arms at night. I also usually bring a stuffed animal with me whenever I go out, since it helps me combat anxiety, and I just like holding something in my arms. I also enjoy collecting animal figurines, select Funko figurines (not limited to just Pops, and also only of media I already enjoy), as they don’t trigger my phobia in ways some figures do. I’m an out of box collector, and none of my stuffed is in “mint” condition— I collect for myself, first and foremost, and for the future generation second; everything is well loved, and will continue to be loved.

I’ve become a big “write that down” type of person as I’ve gotten older. I strive to be the guy people come to for notes for a video game they play, or perhaps for recipes that I wrote down even though I’d never make it myself since I’m a very picky eater.

As a kid, and even now, I dreamed of being an oceanographer; I love the ocean dearly, and I always will. I grew up playing the Endless Ocean games on Wii (side note: very excited for Luminous to come out!!!), which was the source of all my love and interest in the ocean. I love learning things I didn’t know about the ocean before, and love sharing my knowledge even more. I may not be able to drive a car, but I’d love to one day be able to have a boating license!

I’m a big animal guy!!! I grew up surrounded by animals all my life, and I’m a firm believer that a home isn’t a home without having an animal around that you can take care of, whether it be a dog, cat, turtle, or otherwise.

I have a moderate fear of going down stairs, as I can’t do it correctly (going down them one step at a time, body often veering off to the side and pressed up against the banister; no, I have no idea why I do this) and have fallen down them quite a few times. Luckily, I’ve never been seriously injured.

Cars also moderately scare me. I don’t like the idea of being in a fast moving box. This often causes embarrassing social blunders, because I reach up for the car handle when I get anxious. I promise it’s not because you’re bad at driving, driver!!!

I can make near-perfect imitations of select animal noises; I’m partial to my quacking noise, as it’s become something of a vocal stim for me. I can also bark and “purr”.

I hate lenticular lining (the thing that makes those images on bookmarks move or seem 3D)— the feeling and the sound it makes when you scratch it makes me feel sick!

I’m often described as an “old soul” by people in my life who are far more spiritual than I am. I don’t exactly know what that means, if I’m honest, but I know it’s a compliment and it makes me feel nice and warm inside when I am describes as such.

I’m allergic to cherries.

My biggest goal in life is to be the fun, supportive uncle/cousin if any of my friends or family ever have kids. I don’t foresee myself ever wanting kids, but I know that any children that would be introduced into my life would be loved and cherished by me. I’d love to sit and watch cartoons with them, or play games. I’d love to introduce them to the shows that I personally grew up watching, because I don’t find it fair for those shows to go overlooked and forgotten. They may already know Josh, but I want them to know Steve and Joe too. (And NO Cocomelon!!! That’d be my only rule).

hi its me again ^^; requesting for a twst matchup pls!!

im an introvert, usually very quiet and calm and rather hard to provoke at times. i'm easily irritated and lack patience with people who don't really think things through (though i grow warm over time as i grow tolerant in SOME cases). im very loyal and reliable as told by my friends and act similarly to a nagging aunt of sorts?? i'm rational and rather stubborn in the things i do but i relent depending on the severity of things. im also quite petty in certain cases.

i've been told it's easy to be around myself as a person, and people are really comfortable to be themselves in my presence. generally, i'm very blunt since i don't know how to phrase my words any better and some people (& even friends) at times, take the things that i say the wrong way without meaning to. i tend to get along with most people as long as they deal with the same mutual respect back. im also terribly sassy at times and tends to double down when truly necessary.

i'm rather sarcastic and tend to tease a lot out of the fun of it. it's really easy to get me flustered, especially with flirts because the first thing i'd do is laugh and try to get out of there as soon as possible 😭 i think use both my words and actions equally since i (usually) follow up with what i say. i have tendencies to be a people watcher and observe people going about their day.

i wouldn't really consider myself the most passionate or enthusiastic person either but i really enjoy listening to those who have one. really makes me happy to see people enjoy the things they do. in a sense, i like when people have the things that i lack (energy, passion etc) i just love seeing it A TON. at times, i also have trouble in wording the things that i want to say so it ends up falling flat at times. so i wouldnt say im the most persuasive person either. i tell corny jokes and i rarely give in compliments unless i think its worth it.

appearance wise, i'm about 5'4 and on the chubbier side of things. i have brown skin, really dark brown eyes and 4B black hair. i have small hands and lots of moles on my body but specifically i have 1 on each cheek. as for interests im really into anything that interests me since i get bored easily. most things that catch my attention are typology, videogames, music and gardening. im also learning to play the bass guitar as well. hope that you have a good night/day!!

Hi hi~! I was wondering if I can have a stardew valley ship please?

I’m a woman and I’ll be 25 years old this spring. My pronouns are she/her and I’m bi, but I do have a preference for men. I’m 5’4 with shoulder length dyed burgundy hair and big green eyes. I also wear glasses and have quite a few piercings (nose and lots of ear piercings). I also have a chubby build. Often times my friends would describe me as cute and sweet with a hint of spice lol.

Personality: I’m shy and awkward around new people, but once I’m comfortable around someone I’m a lot more talkative and bubbly. I also have a sarcastic and mischievous side, so I like to stir the pot and watch the chaos unfold lol. My go-to response is laughing which makes things so much worse, but I can’t help it 😅. A bit of a hot-head and moody, but I’m back to my bubbly self quickly. I’m not much of a touchy-feely person as physical touch can make me anxious. But with s/o’s I can be super cuddly and clingy. Hello, hello! May I request a matchup for Stardew Valley please? I use she/her pronouns and am more interested in the bachelors. I'm 5'7", Virgo, ISFP, and a night owl. I have dark brown eyes and the same color for my hair which is shoulder-length which I like to keep tied into a tucked-in bun. My hobbies include drawing, playing video games, watching anime/films, and listening to horror fiction podcasts. I also used to keep a dream diary which would serve as creative inspirations.

I initially tend to be quiet and reserved but once I get acquainted with someone, I am actually quite open and can ramble on and on about certain subjects. Even so, if I am in a group, I'll mostly stay quiet. Because I'm more of a listener and can be quite understanding and honest with others, I think that's why friends often confide in me and I try my best to offer advice and consolation even though I personally am not great with words and am terrified of accidentally offending others. Despite this, I can curse like a sailor if I am annoyed (and I'm usually patient so if I'm ticked off, I'm go off like a bomb).

I am not an active person at all nor do I have enough stamina. Like if I go out somewhere and come back home, even for a simple errand, that is it, I need to stay in and recharge for the rest of the day. I dislike crowded areas so I actually prefer to stay in during weekends and chill. Other major flaws I have is that I keep seeking valdiation from others and am lack self-confidence. Sometimes I can be self-conscious and sometimes I'm just tired and don't give a crap. My work & sleep schedule and balance is all over the place especially because once I start working on something that I'm really immersed in, it's hard for me to give myself a break until it's done.

Some favorites and more preferences.. Even though I should be more compatible with cats, I adore dogs, especially the bigger breeds (but I still like cats too!). My favorite season is autumn (jacket & hoodie season! apple cider & pie! and Halloween!!) while least favorite is summer (I hate HATE humidity & mosquitos are my archnemesis). I like all sorts of foods but I gravitate towards cheesy, spicy foods and noodles (must have pickled side dishes). I am very selective with seafood and am not much of a drinker (though I will occasionally enjoy beer especially when paired with fried chicken). My favorite flower in the game is the fairy rose because it looks similar to my actual fave flower ranunculus. My ideal date would either be staying in with a dinner & movie or a peaceful afternoon walk at a park or alongside a riverbank.

Comically experienced best example was when I got onto a podcast hosted by experts in a bunch of fields and I just graduated hs but was able to discuss topics ranging from development of ai to causes of cultural polarization, with me and the psychologist bouncing off each other in discussion quite a bit, for a couple hours with them.

Personality: Quiet and shy, only really opening up as I work, see someone needing help, or notice a common interest. I have been called mom by many people due to how deep running my older sibling instincts are. I have a mask of confidence due to often working with people years older to hide a fear of rejection. My work as a journalist has led me to see some of the worst in people, so I can come off a bit tired but I try to use my experiences to help others. I tend to speak with a large degree of candor and I’ll spring off whenever I hear someone say to make a joke or affectionately poke fun at something. I’m also known as the cockroach because of my sheer tenacity to survive situations that would bring a lot of people down. While I don’t seem like the sort to take charge, I will if I see things go downhill with efficiency to make sure everything that needs to be done gets done.

Appearance: 5 foot 6 inches and gonna say this since I saw you know TWST is the fact I basically look like a shorter Malleus with brown eyes and glasses like Azul. I tend to dress in sweater vests, waistcoats, and button ups but I do love my leather jacket. Some days, I’ll look more feminine other days I’ll wear my binder. Additionally, I also sometimes wear a brace on my elbow due to an injury I got due to the amount of desk work I do.

Likes: Coffee, having time for a nap, going down random rabbit holes of research, media analysis, writing, working on my novel, making different drinks and food, punk, and rock.

Dislikes: Bigots, loud crowds, unrealistic expectations, conformity, people that have a simmering anger, and environments that leave people on the edge.

Me in a relationship: Very much more of an unspoken affection sort of person, I’ll make small changes to things or add steps in my daily routine to help my partner. I also am a bit cuddly, though only after people gain my trust, as I’m a tad touch starved. Cooking is another thing that I will do, especially with trying to figure out things that bring happy memories and such.

What I look for: Someone who can make me laugh and is willing to listen. Doesn’t cause feeling walking on eggshells constantly. People that care for others and are empathic. Able to deal with some distance at times due to needing time to mentally sort things. Acceptance of flaws and quirks but willing to help each other grow.

Aster is a wood elf wild magic sorcerer. Bi with a slight preference for women but she’s muscles then gender but not a deal breaker. She/They, super fem. About 5'5" with a slim frame that makes it surprising that she has a 13 in strength. She has curly chestnut hair and bright green eyes and is covered in freckles. A lot of her personality is swayed by being a sorcerer, leading her to be a bit arrogant and full of herself. Despite being overly confident in her abilities, she’ll run away or avoid problems she doesn’t think she can handle. She’s self-centered, impulsive, shortsighted, wants to be a hero to show off. She cares deeply for the people around her and would try to move the world for them. She’s genuine and open. She’s moved easily by people’s personal stories and her morals can be pretty flexible. Aster loved to go shopping and trying new things. Growing up pretty sheltered, she wants to try everything the world has to offer. She tends to jump hobbies. At first, these two butt heads like no one else. It’s arguement after argument, so much so that the conversation at camp becomes something of a constant debate between them.

I imagine it’s later in the events of Baldur’s Gate during which Aster and Lae’zel really begin to connect. Both of their walls have begun to fall down a bit, and even if they don’t like eachother, they do trust eachother.

And then one time, one saves the other’s life, and it’s something of a slippery slope from there. One moment it's arguing about how to best solve a problem, the next it's looking longingly at the other form across the camp.

Yes, it makes everyone else roll their eyes. Except for Karlach, who’s absolutely invested.

Because of the relationship that was already built up (ie: arguing, being mean to eachother, but protecting eachother in battle and watching out for the other), it’s a bit hard to suddenly communicate romantic feelings.

And so for a while, it’s soft touches and gazes, until one night Lae’zel propositions Aster in a rather straightforward yet somewhat flustered way, and when they wake up cuddling, they pretend they’re not.

Old married couple in my mind. They pretend to dislike one another, but Aster and Lae’zel are very much kindred souls who grow old together and bicker even in their old age.

Short Backstory: (tw! Slavery, implied SA, gr00ming, kidnapping, and murder)

Sharpe was born with a different name to noble humans of Baldur's Gate — disgusted by Sharpe's appearance, they basically have them the Phantom treatment, only those inside the of the estate knew of Sharpe's existance, but outside, they didn't exist.

On their 10th birthday, Sharpe was given a compas locket necklace from their father (little did they know it was laced with Sussur Bloom petals), and was kidnapped by a rookie band of pirates, eventually while at sea, the crew and Sharpe found out that their mother was expecting.

The pirate crew took them in and accepted Sharpe's change of identity and eventual change of gender.

Three years later, a ship named the Whispering Maiden crashed into the small vessel and took no hostages. The captain — Sevris — noticed that Sharpe was of female anatomy and took them to their quarters to give them an ultimatum; be used by his crew and die, or be his slave and live.

Sharpe chose survival.

After years of abuse, intimate manipulation, and grooming into becoming a well-oiled first mate and assassin of sorts, Sharpe eventually gave up their prayers to the divine, as none answered.

One day, Sevris wanted to kill the archduke of Neverwinter for allegedly "taking away the only woman he loved".

Sharpe had gone to the Neverwinter's Archduke manor before, albeit disguised as a handmaiden, yet they hatched a plan of escape.

And escape they did, hiding under the tunnel system below the manor for days, until they finally came out of hiding and saw only rubble.

Roaming through the streets with only the clothes on their back, a Tiefling Wizard named Icarus took them in and taught them how to master their magic after finding out that their necklace was encompassed with a magic dampener. Roughly after eight months, Sharpe became a traveller, exploring Faerûn as an outlander with nowhere to call home and no place to make roots.

Six years after freedom, Sharpe still bore the pains of abuse but showed little of it, only re-entering in their life in the form of nightmares and in strangers' faces that looked like their captor.

One day, they travelled to Baldurs Gate to be there for their younger human brothers' (according to sources around) 18th ceremony, only to be abducted by the mindflayers.

Sharpe is witty and snappy at times, sarcastic tongue, and hardened by years of unimaginable torture, but under it all is a gentleness and kindness for others and especially for children and animals regardless of race, along with secret compassion and affection for their companions (after gaining their trust that is).

I imagine what Sharpe needs first and foremost is patience. They need someone who will see the softness beneath the hard exterior yet not push and demand said softness. And Gale would literally wait forever if it meant they’d be comfortable.

I imagine Gale is glad to have a fellow magic user at first, and even more glad to have someone who knows how to tell a joke or two, but he soon sees the lack of emotions in their eyes, and the way they remain rigid and thoughtless during violent encounters, and it doesn’t take long for him to piece together that something is wrong.

And even while he’s suspicious of Sharpe, he’s also slowly growing enamoured. Their bravery and wit, and their willingness to indulge him…he’s all over it.

When Gale finally discovers their Trangic Backstory™, he feels a confusing mix of both undying passion and empathy for Sharpe. He sees so much strength in their ability to remain kind even after what they’d been through, but also mourns for the life they should have lived.

And then he dedicates himself to ensuring that the rest of Sharpe’s life will be filled with love and dedication, even if it means waiting forever.

They become his reason for living - and for refusing to let the orb in his chest explode. He’ll dedicate himself to that they may live a life they’re deserving of.

hi i'd like to request a SDV matchup thank you ^_^ male interests please!! im an introvert, usually very quiet and calm and rather hard to provoke at times. i'm easily irritated and lack patience with people who don't really think things through (though i grow warm over time as i grow tolerant in SOME cases). im very loyal and reliable as told by my friends and act similarly to a nagging aunt of sorts?? i'm rational and rather stubborn in the things i do but i relent depending on the severity of things. im also quite petty in certain cases.

i've been told it's easy to be around myself as a person, and people are really comfortable to be themselves in my presence. generally, i'm very blunt since i don't know how to phrase my words any better and some people (& even friends) at times, take the things that i say the wrong way without meaning to. i tend to get along with most people as long as they deal with the same mutual respect back.

i'm rather sarcastic and tend to tease a lot out of the fun of it. it's really easy to get me flustered, especially with flirts because the first thing i'd do is laugh and try to get out of there as soon as possible 😭 i think use both my words and actions equally since i (usually) follow up with what i say. i have tendencies to be a people watcher and observe people going about their day..

i wouldn't really consider myself the most passionate or enthusiastic person either but i really enjoy listening to those who have one. really makes me happy to see people enjoy the things they do. in a sense, i like when people have the things that i lack (energy, passion etc) i just love seeing it A TON. at times, i also have trouble in wording the things that i want to say so it ends up falling flat at times. so i wouldnt say im the most persuasive person either.

appearance wise, i'm about 5'4 and on the chubbier side of things. i have brown skin, really dark brown eyes and 4B black hair. i have small hands and lots of moles on my body but specifically i have 1 on each cheek. as for interests im really into anything that interests me since i get bored easily. most things that catch my attention are typology, videogames, music and gardening. im also learning to play the bass guitar as well. hope that you have a good night/day!!

I imagine he’d be crushing on you for quite a while before becoming a item, acting all shy and it can get awkward, but when he confesses it’s painfully cute.

You and Sebastian get along well too (he’s a bit jealous).

He loves when you listen to him talk about his passions. He gets this lovesick look in his eyes when you engage him or get him gifts surrounding his passions, and it makes Abigail and Sebastian gag.

Then he smothers you with kisses.

He’s the golden retriever to your black cat, and it’s adorable and sickening for everyone all at once.
