How is vedic astrology different from western astrology
Today we will discuss how Vedic astrology is different from Western astrology. Then let's start that in Vedic astrology, the moon is based on the stars. And Western astrology is based on the Sun. Now we try to tell you a little better. Now we tell you how Vedic Astrology is different from Western Astrology. In Vedic astrology, there are 27+1 nakshatras, which include 12 zodiacs, 9 planets, and 12 houses. In Vedic astrology, you are told about you by looking at the constellation, dasha, and birth chart and it is also very accurate. Now if we talk about Western Astrology, then Western Astrology is known as Sun Astrology. And in western countries, you are told only by looking at the sun. And it includes 12 zodiac signs. Both vedic and Western Astrology help you by telling you about how your day will be and what you can and can't do in the future. Even if the way of both is not different, but they do less and do it for us only.

Me getting political
🇬🇪🇪🇺
So, I know I mostly only really talk about vedic astrology here, but I'd like to speak to the very same audience who found and followed me because of that about what's going on in my country. So, followers, dear mutuals, those couple of ppl I know irl who are on here, or someone who randomly found this_please, read and interact. (!!!please)
For context, the vast majority Georgia, mainly gen z, has been protesting a "foreign agents law", which is almost identical to the law that russia passed in 2012 and that has resulted in significant restriction of the freedom of its citizens. So, eurovision, met gala, whatever.... this is the reality my country lives in.
I had no idea so many people from other countries were this misinformed about georgia(in general)? People thinking photos from our massive protests were not from here because we have "police" written in english and not "policija"(which is not a fcking georgian word??????)?
People thinking america funded, I repeat, MASSIVE protests that have been going on for a month(and have also taken place in the march of last year for the same reason), just because some of the protestors wrote signs in english? Like, the sheer idea of that is honestly infuriating.
I don't think anyone who has not lived in Georgia will understand the situation clearly. The government is ordering to beat up peaceful protestors, is using pepper spray on them.... and most of the protestors are teens and young adults, trying to make a better future for themselves and for generations to come, tired of fighting the same fight that their parents and grandparents have fought.
When you are born georgian, patriotism is instilled in you like vow. I was born in 2002, a decade after my country exited the soviet union, fresh out of the notoriously hard and dark 90s(full of poverty and crime), six years before I started school and russia invaded the city of Gori. We learned all the poems and novels of our great writers, learned the stories of them fighting for freedom of speech, for the freedom of our country, our teachers would explain every detail of their astristry and their importance. At some point I think we all got tired of it, no matter how loving and full of care they were, but then I remember the presentation my class did in sixth grade about february of 1921, how Georgia exited the russian empire in 1918 and how the brand new(at the time) constitution was implemented just a few days before the red army came in 1921... MY PARENTS were born when Georgia was in ussr, my mother had to spend her years as a young student in the 90s in constant fear of danger on the streets, our parents saw the worst of it and did everything in their power for us to live in a better environment. But we're first generation in georgia who grew up with internet, who is fluent in internet slang and is way more informed, with a completely different mentality, for whom the decades of oppression is more distant. We know russia is an enemy, we know what our country has gone through, but we are the first gen with the freedom to speak up when yet another attemp to control is made.
We have a very long and rich history and one thing that is clear from it is that we are supernaturally resilient, and our refusal to be subdued has protected not only ourselves, but countries that lie west from us, the countries that make Europe, that we consider ourselves a part of.
My friends know I'm the quickest to say that I feel like I don't belong here(georgia), that I never really connected to what I saw, generally, in my country, but maybe there are thousands like me here. Maybe(100%) the men in power haven't been paying their due respect to my generation and how persistent we have been in our actions and convictions. And maybe, the rest of the world(western countries) have significantly undervalued our importance. We deserve our due, and to me, the least that others can do, is to educate themselves before typing or speaking about us.
We are not a "former soviet country", we are an ancient civilization with an extremely unique culture that has survived to this day, that has protected its customs, identity and the right for freedom, and has been under almost constant threat for losing them. And, once again, if there was any doubt, we are not our government.
I sincerely hope for this to get as many notes or possible, or at least, to reach the right people.

debunking some 12th house placements / stelliums in composite houses? usually ive seen people here say there’s usually an expiry date with those placements but vedic astro has a different say!

First and foremost: I don't know much about vedic astrology as my personal education is based on western/hellenistic, so I can't tell what vedic astrology has to say with 12H Placements/Stelliums in Composite, but I definitely can tell you what my education & experience taught me.
(¹) Difference Between Western and Vedic Astrology - Saurav Chaturvedi
(²) What's Hellenistic Astrology - Chris Brennan
● WHAT'S A COMPOSITE CHART?
⎯ A Composite Chart is basically the fusion of two [or 3+ at times] charts together, and it indicates the general energy of a relationship, without taking into account the individuals as synastry does.
⎯ Unlike Synastry that indicates the dynamics of interaction between two [or 3+ at times] people and their general compatibility, Composite Charts kind of show the outcomes of this interaction, it's like a third component to the relationship.
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
read this: the Composite Chart by the astrologer Liz Greene.
" When we are looking at a composite chart, we are not exploring what two people activate in each other or feel about each other. We are interpreting the energy field they generate between them. The composite chart is like a child, a third entity which carries the genetic imprints of both parents but combines these imprints in an entirely new way and exists independently of either of them. "
~ Liz Greene, The Composite Chart

● WHAT'S THE 12H ABOUT?
(³) The 12th House - AstroTwins
All I'm writing below is based on these books from professional, experienced and reliable astrologers: Hellenistic Astrology by Chris Brennan, The Twelve Houses by Howard Sasportas, Ancient Astrology by Demetra George and The Contemporary Astrologer's Handbook by Sue Tompkins.
⎯ it is about the unconscious, behind the scenes activity, secrets, spirituality, hiding, secret enemies, hidden things, mystery, mysticism, psychic abilities, restricted spaces such as hospitals and jails, grief, healing, enlightenment, transcendence, dreams, confusion and at times even illusion, altered perception of things/reality, hypnosis, magic, self-undoing/self-destruction/self-healing, addiction, sacrifice, dependency over things/people, escapism, the holistic world, enigmas, sorrowful experiences, things that don't seem real, seclusion, loneliness, confinement, charity.
Tumblr media
doesn't matter how romanticized these placements may be by tiktok/pop astrologers, it is astrologically and realistically more correct to say that 12H Placements in Composite Charts especially Stelliums could be a bit hard to handle due to the complex nature of the 12H and also potentially the complex nature of the planets involved (ex. Mars/Pluto/Saturn/Uranus). Is this relationship destined to be a disaster? Not necessarily. Is it destined to fail? Not necessarily.
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
[ ⚠ ] DISCLAIMER : the entire chart must be analyzed as well, always.
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
● POSSIBLE EFFECTS of 12H PLACEMENTS/STELLIUMS in COMPOSITE
⎯ Having a secret relationship or having a lot of secrets while in a relationship
⎯ Being very devoted to each other to the point of having a mystical/spiritual relationship
⎯ Being overly sacrificing, both or one of the partners involved may give more than take and find him/her/themselves frustrated because of it
⎯ Refusing to see your partner's flaws or face your relationship problems for the sake of keeping the "perfect and unconditional love"
⎯ Having an idealised view of each other, or one having an idealised view of the other partner. This can result either in deep admiration or a toxic "I put you on a pedestal" thing
⎯ Having a lot of unresolved karma together, maybe from past relationships or past situations
⎯ Cheating (I know it's a hard pill to swallow but it can happen), due to secrets/idealisation of the partner to the point of possibly overlooking his/her/their behaviour and actions.
⎯ Being "addicted" to one another, both positively or negatively
⎯ Healing together, having a religious relationship where you both practice the same form of spiritual activities or religion
⎯ Deep, intimate and exclusively private bond with someone who's able to see your darkest side, your "hidden world", almost telepathic connection
⎯ Issues with communicating or communicating emotions
⎯ Feeling alone, restricted or imprisoned in the relationship
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯

ASTRO OBSERVATIONS 777
First: Stop judging people by their natal charts or by their horoscopes(even more stupid) and making limiting statements/conclusions. You have no idea how much a person could have worked their charts and you don’t know the aspects, degrees and houses this person has¡¡¡😤
Tumblr media
☾Pluto is like a Black Sun: I say this because its influence is so strong that even in conjunctions and squares of 10 orbs, its influence is still very powerful, for example: I have Mercury conjunct Pluto (9 orbs) and people say that my gaze is very penetrating, sometimes I notice that people feel uncomfortable when I make eye contact with them, when I study something I study obsessively non-stoping, sometimes I can immediately see people's emotional problems/traumas, and I can see through their masks and their weak points as if I were wearing x-ray glasses, and sometimes without realizing I say things that hurt, trigger people. Many people have told me that they love my voice too(well stop talking about me). With trines his influence is still strong but much more friendly and with sextiles his influence is soft and too diplomatic that the native has to Digg deep to find/connect with his influence. ☾Venus in Taurus or Taurus degrees(2, 14, 26): They are very sensual, they love physical pleasure, they may have partners who find them very sensual, loves junk food, have artistic abilities, they have a love for aesthetics and beauty that they could be with a person just for their beauty aesthetics, with alcohol they can become very s*xual (like God Pan Archetype)and they are romantics af. ☾Venus in 3th House or Venus conjunct Mercury: beautiful and seductive voices, they seduce you with their speech, quite sensual, charming, they are very loved at school, social skills, persuasive, they have creative abilities, very intelligent people, they know exactly what to say at the right moments and people love to see them smile. ☾Neptune in 8th house: Could use drugs during s*x just to alter their states, they can have trascendental experiences during s*x(but only with people they love), tantra, they have to be careful to lower their vibration too much because they can connect with lower vibration entities(lower astral), there is a strong attraction for death, they want to die during s*xual intercourse, spiritual gifts, great intuitive abilities, can have powerful trips with psychedelics. ☾Uranus in 8th house: they already know society and the collective unconscious/consciousness very well without even interacting with it, they love everything that is taboo, different and kinky. They may have s*xual partners that are very different from them, they are very electric in intimacy, they may have sudden encounters with death, their stamina is very irregular and unpredictable, for example: they may be having s*x with you and cum very fast(P.E) and out of nowhere they can fuck you all day/night, it all depends on how unpredictable and different the interaction is, since that's what turns them on. Talented for astrology, tarot, oracles, telepathy, witchcraft, and everything that is occult, holistic and spiritual(random observation here: they may have extraterrestrial contact or contact with beings from other dimensions). ☾Mars in 8th house in vedic or Mars dominant people in western astrology: when life brings them down, when they encounter obstacles, when someone lies to them, when they see someone abusive, when someone judges them, when someone is very arrogant with them, when there are money problems, when someone in their project is very lazy or flaky, they become this type of energy:  1)https://tenor.com/es-419/view/jujutsu-kaisen-jujutsu-kaisen0-movie-jjk-yuta-gif-23677991 2)https://tenor.com/es-419/view/jjk-jujutsu-kaisen-fushiguro-megumi-gif-20813461 ☾Mercury conjunct Chiron: Have very healing and gentle voices/speech, overthinkers, OCD, intrusive thoughts,  they may really like instrumental music since it helps them think more clearly and if they truly connect with their heart space/chakra or their inner healer they can heal you with their words, such as they can say you: "don't worry, everything will be fine" and  they can calm your entire nervous system. ☾Mercury in Aries or Aries degrees(1, 13, 25): dominant speech, intrepid, blunt, impatient, harsh speech, gets easily irritated, but at the same time very friendly, very active intellect, if they get angry their words can feel like punches, they like to argue, they talk very loud, love gambling, they love to shout, have competitive minds, they love Videogames/Movies/Series that include topics such as violence, war and fighting like “Call of Duty”, ”God of War”, “Vikings”, “Gangs of New York”. They can be very good trainers/coaches as well because they understand sports very well, or they can even be very good teachers since they won't let you fall asleep. ☾Moon square Mars: I'm going to speak from a native here: We don't hate women, what happens is that s*x  is something very precious for us and we are very passionate about it, we are very demisexual and we crave intimacy. What bothers us is to see women talking/treating sex in such a superficial and vulgar way, we definitely hate that. So we can develop a lot of hatred towards all these "empowerment" movements that make them treat themselves as if they were goddesses/gods, that promote a lot of self-love but without knowing themselves, just inflating their egos (which is quite sad because these movements end up generating quite arrogant, apathetic, narcissistic and deep down empty people). The unconscious impulse here is to try to beat them at their own game due to their competitive energy, which is why it may seem that many men with this position hate women. 🌿Postscript: you can’t love yourself if you don’t know yourself first, that’s why love is secondary. If you distance yourself gradually from your ego &  personality(meditating, doing yoga or etc) and start discovering your authentic self, love will come by itself and you will naturally love yourself first because it will be your first encounter. Love will become your spontaneous nature. The same with confidence, genuine confidence only comes with clarity and perception!🌿

Astrology Observations 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
🔷 From what I've heard, a planet is said to be combust when it is close to the Sun, around 3 orbs close. So, what happens when a planet is combust? The planet usually loses control on its destiny and it ends up depending upon how the Sun's energy will be executed.
🔷 The word 'Astrology' is means 'aster' - star and 'logos' - reason/logic. While in Sanskrit, it's called Jyotisha which means 'Knowledge of light'. *1
🔷 The Sun and the Moon are considered powerful planets and are usually given more importance in Vedic Astrology or Western Astrology because they influence earth and human beings in lot different ways that are already talked about in Science. *1 They're called the luminaries.
🔷 Even though these are very important planets, I believe, your top 3 planets/signs make you who you are. Your top 3 nakshatra or your top 3 dominant planets/signs from Placidus or Sidereal charts or any other chart may be the representatives of your energy.
🔷 Aries and Gemini people, in my experience, have such sudden outbursts of anger and then suddenly they're quiet.
🔷 My mother is a Taurus Moon and she wanted to be an Interior designer but she's a Cancer Sun and became a teacher for kids from ages 5-14.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
🔷 Ceres is an asteroid which talks about nourishment, nurturing and basically, sustaining of life/species. It also represents everything relating to gynaecology, childcare, post-natal care. It represents cultivation of land, farming and agriculture. It also talks about food and food related services. *2
🔷 Asteroid Apollo in 11th house may mean that a person is considered charming and beautiful inside out, among thier friends or on social media. The influence of apollo could also tell us about what we give, so apollo in 11th gives a lot more to community and in today's time, this is something easily achieved by social media.
🔷 Aries energy is quite adamant and impatient, as I've heard. So wherever you have Aries would show where your impatient. For example, for a Libra Rising, having Aries in 7th house may make them impatient relating to themes of 7th house, like finding a partner or marriage, that is why they're said to marry early.
🔷 This is something which I believe needs to be talked about, that Astrology isn't something that's going to solve all of your problems, don't treat it with so much definite belief that you forget that there's something much better you can experience apart from just what's written in your stars because in the end your actions make the difference.
🔷 Your Rising and Venus (sign and house) could indicate your style, the style you want to have and/or the style you actually have. While your MC and AC, together, may talk about how you style yourself in a professional setting.

Sea, Water, Imaginative waters and self reflection
Tumblr media
From the longest time, I’ve connected to water in a way that felt very personal. I get very frightened by things that are meant to me because I’m scared of disappointing myself. Not being enough. Not being enough for my own potential. Fucking things up. Failing.
But recently, I’ve realized how water has always played an important role in my life. A way to cleanse, to purify myself, to feel my body and my interiority; to feel alive. To play, to be happy. I’ve always loved dancing in the rain, swimming, taking a bath. Even drinking water has been linked to my femininity in some abstract, hard to explain way.
I can feel that water has been my most easy to connect with element. I’ve always connected with creatures of the sea like mermaids.
Always been scared of sharks. But like I said, to me; things that you desire or fear are the same coin, just different sides.
Water feels elusive to me, but I’ve been trying to imitate it. flow like it, be free like it, but at the same time be effortlessly strong and determinate.
I’m a Swati moon and just recently realized how deep I can access my dream state, and my imagination. My imagination runs so deep.
And I’ve been shamed for it a lot but I want to reclaim it and make it stronger. Using water to do so.
I’m also a Pisces sun (Revati) in Vedic. and a Pisces mercury in Western astrology.

I second completely what you are saying about Claire Nakti's work, it's so male centered and heteronormative, and she always has to find a way to make it about sexuality or attraction when it frankly is not relevant.
I know that this is a personal thing, but as an ashlesha native I could not finish watching the ashlesha video, I found it so triggering as a person that has been sexually abused before. I found it really disturbing how she, in my opinion, seemed to romanticize abuse scenes or even directly say that it was part of the ashlesha "allure". She didn't criticize the men for being abusive, and placed responsibility on the ashlesha natives. I have absolutely no desire to be dominated or subjugated by a man, and the BDSM connection was just completely uncalled for, as she also ignored the fact that women can also be and are the Dom. Then again, she might have mentioned this but I couldn't finish the video.
Comparatively, I'm also a Purva bhadrapada native, and when I watched the Purva bhadrapada video, I learned a lot thematically yes, but I cant ignore the one dimensional representation she gave the women. Just like I don't have the desire to be dominated by men, I also don't have the desire to ruin their lives for absolutely no reason! 😭 It's cartoonish, a Femme Fatale is just the male version of "the bad boy" archetype but without the grace men are given by women cause they think "uwu he's sad I gotta save him♥️". Archetypes do not represent real women, they are just a way to dumb them down.
I think that part of the problem is using movie and movie characters to represent nakshatra themes, when most of these movies are made by and for straight men. They do not represent the experiences of women or queer people. Also, Movies aren't real life and I feel like it would be more realistic to study the patterns in natives lives and use movies more sparingly.
I've actually heard the same comment from multiple Ashleshas about how uncomfortable they were with how Claire sexualised the whole Ashlesha experience. I haven't watched the whole video either so idk but something I've noticed with Claire's research in general is how she fixates on one or two recurring themes (usually sexual/romantic/somehow involving men) and makes the whole video revolve around that?? she nitpicks examples to further her narrative. whenever she makes videos that are more centred around planetary dominance, its very apparent that the examples she is citing aligns with one nak or two more than the rest. In her Jupiter women video, most of the examples cited where Vishaka with some Punarvasus thrown into the mix and virtually no PBP girlies cited. i think the whole concept of planetary dominance is skewed to say the least because each nak manifests the planet's energies in a way that is unique to them so the qualities we associate with a planet are perhaps actually just the qualities of one single nak that exhibits it the most.
claire's research is also rooted in western esotericism, like kabbalah and whatever Aleister Crowley was teaching folks idek, and those are heavily based on weird sex rituals and male gaze-y teachings which if the rumours of her creepy bf doing the research are true, makes sense
she correlates vedic astrology to "archetypes" so each nak is "femme fatale" or "mother of maya" or whatever but its 1000x more complex than that?? its really really hard to narrow down a nak's energy into just one or two aspects, even when i do research i am acutely aware of how this is just a glimpse that i have into this energy at this moment, i find it very icky how claire will outright claim some nak is a succubus or some other nak is a tantric initiatrix without giving them the complexity they are due??
yeah same i think relying heavily on movies and fictitious works is not reliable because even beyond the fact that men make it for men, all art is the source of imagination. imagination and reality are very different. in my research i found out that many dictators have Jupiter naks, i wouldnt be able to make that connection by looking at movies because Jupiter themes manifest in movies are very different?? (surreal punarvasu, transformation heavy vishaka and chaotic destructive PBP and their mafia movies) what art we make and how we channel our naks through art is different from how these naks affect our personalities and behaviour

planetary enemies
we often talk about what signs and houses planets are happy or powerful in. we don't always talk about who they get along with and don't. the concept of planetary enemies seems to be more prominent in vedic astrology than in western varieties, but even then there are some variations on which planets are not really friends. so a caveat here is that i am not by any means a vedic astrologer, i know a bit about it but my involvement there is extremely casual.
mars and venus - not everyone agrees that these are enemies, for sure. indeed mythologically (to the greeks and romans at least) they were lovers. on the other hand, who doesn't occasionally fight with a lover? and being love and war they are naturally at odds even if they are things often found together (all's fair in love and war, etc)
sun and saturn - this is a classic, that saturn is the greater malefic with sun being its remedy or antidote. in a heavy depression wear gold, be outside in the light, etc. it goes kind of the other way too, a lead weight does tend to detract from a bright sunny day.
sun and venus - this is more of a vedic thing and not everyone follows it but i was shocked to see it. of course in some forms astrology anything too closely conjunct the sign is a bit scary, but i always saw the sun and venus as kind of beautiful, heartful allies. maybe they get competitive with each other.
mercury and moon, but not vice versa from what i have found - i guess this kind of makes sense, mercury is the mind, the moon is the feelings. i like to do my best to reconcile these things and integrate them but i know so many people who prefer to compartmentalize them, or ally with one more than the other.
mars and mercury - while i wouldn't normally interpret these as being adversarial i can see how there would be conflicts. mars charges forward and mercury plans and plots and schemes. i do also definitely associate aspects between them as often leading to verbal altercations.
jupiter and venus - this one i just can't really get behind. the worst that could happen here is huge appetites, greed, overindulgence, but i feel like that's because they get along too well!
jupiter and mercury - also interesting/strange to me as i see them both as quite compatible. especially when it comes to money. the combination is the building of wealth and then its good use in exchange and flow. the wealth can be money or knowledge or any other commodity. but in vedic forms of astrology i think this tends to be interpreted a bit differently, which may be at the root of this.
apparently the moon knows no enemies - i was surprised at this because at least in most western astrology the moon is (and in the past especially was) seen as so capricious and changing, it is hard to get along with that for many types of people. yet the moon is ultimately how we are all nurtured so i like the thought that our nurturing can never harm us.
what do you think?

Fixed Stars in Astrology
Tumblr media

Tumblr media
Hi Siren! So, Regulus is a fixed star and not an asteroid and fixed stars are not commonly used in western astrology and so I can explain what they are, but I am not going to do a in deep post about them into it because I don't qualify as a the best source on the subject (there's a module extra at my school on the subject but I still can't do it 😅).
1. What are Fixed Stars and How They Work:
Fixed stars are distant celestial objects in the night sky that appear to be stationary relative to each other and form the background against which the planets and other celestial bodies move. They are considered "fixed" because their positions change very slowly over time, about 1 degree every 72 years. Fixed stars are grouped into zodiacal and non-zodiacal constellations. These constellations have mythological narratives associated with them, known as catasterisms, which vary across cultures. These stars were traditionally an integral part of astrology, lost some significance over time, but are now regaining importance in astrological interpretation in the western astrology, as far as I, Julia, know, it has always had its place in Vedic astrology..
2. Different Cultures and Narratives:
Different cultures have unique narratives associated with the constellations. Even cultures with limited contact have narratives that share similarities, indicating a shared human connection to the stars. Western astrology often uses Greco-Roman mythological narratives for interpretation, incorporating elements from other mythologies as well.
3. Benefic and Malefic Fixed Stars:
Fixed stars can be classified as benefic or malefic based on their astrological influences. For example, Algol (β Persei) is considered one of the most malefic stars, associated with challenging and intense energies. In contrast, Spica is considered one of the most beneficial stars.
4. Precession of the Equinoxes and Positional Changes:
The precession of the equinoxes causes gradual shifts in the positions of stars and constellations over long periods of time. This phenomenon impacts the positions of stars in relation to zodiac signs and constellations, which can lead to differences in interpretations between traditional and modern astrology.
5. Astrological Implications:
Fixed stars can be used in horary astrology to provide insights into future events and projects, particularly when they align with significant points in the chart, like the Sun's conjunction with Regulus in Virgo. They offer indications about qualities such as authority, generosity, courage, and more.
6. Finding Fixed Stars in Your Birth Chart:
The positions of fixed stars in your birth chart are determined by factors such as their brightness, size, and their alignment with key points like the Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, and Imun Coeli. Astrologers use methods like the Ptolemaic method to calculate these positions and offer insights into an individual's life and traits. But since I know you're not going to do the calculations by hand, you can look up fixed stars on astro.com or on my favorite program Pegasus (this program has a very early 00's interface, but it calculates very well and has the option in english and other languages).

Hi, I have a doubt with regards to astrology. I have my Sun in Taurus, Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury all in my 11th house in the sign of gemini. I've never had a lot of friends, never been community oriented and been a loner for most of my life... This is why I can never take astrology seriously. Cause my chart doesn't even resonate with me at the most basic level...May I have your thoughts on this, please?
Chart type: Western, Placidus
Hello, I would like to give you my point of view on this.
The first thing is to understand the basics. The 11th house is the house of Aquarius, so the energy is similar in some aspects. Aquarius energy, although it’s said to be extroverted, is a sign that is independent par excellence and usually needs time alone.
A house covers different aspects of the native's life, so summarizing the 11th house to be the house of friendships or communities would be leaving various aspects aside. The next thing would be to understand that other aspects govern the 11th house. Here are some other themes that are attributed to this house:
🟫The internet and technology: This house can represent from how much time we invest in the internet, to how we project ourselves on the internet. A stellium in this house could indicate a person who tends to spend a lot of time using social networks or whose hobbies are related to the use of some technology.
🟫Our long-term goals: Being a house that is not only originally ruled by Uranus, but also by Saturn, the issues of both houses are mixed, in this case the plans [Saturn] and the future [Uranus]. This house can represent what your long-term goals are, how you feel thinking and planning in the long term, or what your criteria and priorities are when making a plan.
🟫Aspirations, ambitions and desires: It represents those things that you want to achieve, create or even be out of your own conviction and not because of what someone dictates to you.
🟫Earnings, wealth and sources of income: That's right, money is not only a matter of the 2nd house, this house usually represents both in Tropical astrology and in Vedic astrology what your main sources of income can be.
🟫The causes you support: In this case, they are the ones that you fight the most to support or the ones that you fervently defend, it can even indicate charity.
🟫How do you perceive humanity: It is a general vision of society as a whole, it indicates your opinions regarding the society in which you operate, the people and the world.
The next thing is to understand what effects having a Stellium in this house can have. It should be clarified that the Stelliums are neither good nor bad, rather they tell us about a sector of life that defines the native a lot or something in which the native focuses a lot throughout their life.
Feeling like an outsider: The native may feel that he does not fit in with people of his age, community or any group to which he belongs. A feeling of not being understood or integrated by others.
Ambition and desire to go far: It is likely that they manifest as a person who places high expectations on themselves and on what they want to achieve. They have long-term plans and want to do a lot of different things.
Anxiety and fear of the future: You may feel doubtful about the future and have a tendency to want to know what is going to happen. By having so many planets in a house that speak of the future, the native can focus too much on what is to come or it can happen that they limit themselves to living in the present.
Various economic incomes: These are people who are more likely to have either several jobs or obtain money in many different ways. They can be people who make money very easily [especially if Jupiter, Venus or Sun are involved]. It should be added that this can be when they start their professional life / when they are adults.
Popularity: This can be in their social life or in the internet world, natives can become recognized for some skill, for their charm or whatever they do on the internet.
The last thought that I will comment is that if you feel that you don't relate with Placidus, you can use whole signs. If we use whole signs and you have a Cancer rising, your planets in Gemini are placed in your 12th house, which could be more related to you, since 12th house energy is introverted and/or isolated.
Hope this helped, have a nice day ahead.

I have some vedic insight I would like to share as I have really enjoyed all of your astrological analysis. It's a bit of a long post:
In Vedic astrology, nakshatras play a pivotal role, similar to how planets rule specific zodiac signs in Western astrology. For example, Mars rules Aries in Western astrology, and similarly, each nakshatra in Vedic astrology carries its significance.
Chris, based on sidereal astrology, is of the Swati Nakshatra lineage. His most harmonious match, according to Vedic tradition, would be with someone from the Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra. This relationship dynamic resembles the classic Cinderella and Prince Charming tale, with Swati representing Prince Charming and Uttara Bhadrapada symbolizing Cinderella.
To find his perfect Uttara Bhadrapada match, the person should have Saturn as their ruling planet in sidereal astrology. This corresponds to either an Aries or Pisces moon in Western astrology. It's worth noting that sidereal zodiac placements can shift, potentially aligning with the preceding sign or retaining the same sign based on specific degrees.
Claire Nakti has offered a comprehensive exploration of the unique physical traits associated with different nakshatras:
Uttara Bhadrapada (Mermaid Beauty):
Found in Pisces, ruled by Saturn.
Ethereal appearance with graceful limbs and neck.
Recognizable wide-spaced, upturned almond eyes.
High cheekbones, a pointed chin, and an overall compact face.
Entwined in the folklore of mermaids and deep-sea narratives.
Hasta (Fairy Beauty):
Located in Virgo.
Mesmerizing almond eyes in hazel or green.
Distinct diamond face, highlighted cheekbones, and a unique pointed nose tip.
This nakshatra echoes fairy tales and has renowned mystical associations.
Importantly, based on Evans' charts, Alba aligns with the Hasta Nakshatra, not Uttara Bhadrapada.
To delve deeper into the essence of the Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra, here's an excerpt directly from Claire Nakti:
"The Billionaire's Bride" Nakshatra: The Cosmic Cinderella 🦋
In today’s video & ebook, I delve into the astrological underpinnings of the Cinderella story — from its mythological origins to its contemporary resonance in films and art. Uttara Bhadrapada and its ruling planet, Saturn, seamlessly interweave these diverse narratives. This nakshatra has, through its natives, narrated the Cinderella saga across centuries, signifying a divine “butterfly” transformation from trials to beauty, from ashes to immeasurable prosperity. Its unparalleled prowess in gaining the admiration, favor, and affection of the powerful and influential stands out. This enigmatic nakshatra epitomizes the cultivation of serene, feminine strength. It embodies the “pressure-sculpted” allure of a gem shaped under Earth's profound pressure or a mermaid thriving under the ocean's immense depths. 🐉 Every Cinderella motif — the cinders, servitude, glass slippers, antagonistic stepsisters and stepmother, magical transformation, and more, offers illuminating insights into this nakshatra's profound mysteries.
This exploration unveiled intriguing interconnections, enabling me to delve into this supremely feminine-powerhouse nakshatra and the way the Cinderella narrative extends to the trine Saturn-nakshatras of Pushya and Anuradha. This journey also allowed for a comprehensive exploration of Saturn-dominant women's unique traits. Uttara Bhadrapada & Ashlesha share pivotal connections related to the feminine spiritual path. This led to a riveting exploration of the divine feminine's mysteries and a cosmic interpretation of the "royal wedding" and the coronation of adept figures in occultism.
So given what astrology says and what Claire Nakti says, while astrology might not be perfect, Chris's placements suggest that a partner from the Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra would be the best match for him.
Thank you anon, this is fascinating. 🌷🙏🧡

Hi,
First of all, I'm such a big fan of you because your content is incredibly thorough and informative. Ive learned so much from you. So I wanted to thank you for being so generous with your wisdom!
I actually gotten even more invested in learning more about vedic astrology because of you. So I hope you don't mind me asking about your thoughts about my big 3 and MC in Vedic.
Anuradha Sun 1st house (10°)
Ashlesha Moon 9th house (18°)
Jyestha Rising (23°)
Uttara Phalguni Midheaven (27°)
(I'm trying to make sense how I can best operate and find out what kind of work is best for me with both Vedic and Western astrology)
Thank you so much for taking the time to answering my question.
Tumblr media
Awwww thank you sm for those kind wordsss 😊, your placements are extremely interesting! Ashlesha moon people are very analytical, intelligent, chameleon-like (in the sense they are able to change into many different personalities and appearances in ease), very spiritual and mystical (you might be very interested in occult things like astrology, tarot, etc, and might have some psychic/supernatural abilities as well), strong willed, highly intuitive, and you have might extremely penetrating eyes. Anuradha sun individuals are friendly, kind, devoted to a higher power, and can come across as mysterious. This placement in your first house further emphasizes these qualities. Jyeshta rising natives are very sharp, can be wealthy af (Jyeshta is the nakshatra of the most billionaires, def watch Claire Nakti’s video about the astrological placements which create the most wealth, it’s so interesting!), very independent and self-sufficient (you rarely ever depend on others for anything), and you probably come across as confident/self assured even you aren’t deep down. Having an Uttaraphalguni midheaven means that in a social setting/reputation wise, people view as a very down to earth person, very friendly and accommodating, generous to others, charismatic, trustworthy, and highly successful in any pursuit you take up. You might come across as somewhat intimidating to others due to having Jyeshta influence (especially on the rising), but this makes you all the more alluring with that double Scorpio energy (Anuradha and Jyeshta) as well as Ashlesha! I’m kinda jelly of ur placements lolll

Elden Ring Starting Classes
Tumblr media
Compiling the true history of the Lands Between cannot be done by using only information internal to the game world. It is not meant to be. When the meaning of the in-game dialogue and other text is ambiguous, players will fill in the blanks with their own biases - *and will not know that they are doing this*. Having the story be open to interpretation does not mean "all interpretations are equal", it means that it is very revealing the things that any given person may assume when solving an open ended question.
So that is partly how I had arrived at using the starting classes as way to organize the types of external information that can help understand the metaphysical nature of the Lands Between.
Hero - Nepheli Loux wears the Champion Set, which indirectly ties this starting class to Hoarah Loux. Consider how the step-by-step classic Hero's Journey would have applied to Hoarah Loux's conquest.
Warrior - There are several scattered items in the game connecting this class to the Blind Swordsman who sealed the God of Rot. Consider how the inconsistent description of this character resembles folklore. Ainsel, Chelona, and Eiglay are examples of direct references to folk tales and mythology, but there are many more parallels to be found.
Bandit - The bandit relies on crafting items such as arrows and efficiently using and countering status effects. They pay attention to the natural landscape. There are many animals and trees in the Lands Between that can be researched to learn more about their cultural significance and biology.
Prophet - Find the parallels to real world religious practices (pre-history, pagan, Christian, etc) and burial rites. View the Lands Between as an afterlife populated by gods and souls. Also consider that one of the ways to understand the history of the Lands Between is as a step-by-step process through the tarot major arcana (where many steps are reverse readings).
Confessor - Understand the secret goals of the Golden Order. Interpret the story told through classical alchemic elements, where the desired end result is gold and the rebis. Also consider Jungian psychology which is structured around persona, self, anima/animus, and shadow. And overall understand that alchemy is a fools errand and its failure is the reason for the Shattering.
Vagabond - The vagabond has the appearance of a classic knight and is an exile from another land. Approach the game as a Dark Souls veteran. Interpret symbolic elements in the context of past Dark Souls games - what is deliberately the same and what is different?
Samurai - Approach the game as a stranger in a strange land. Pay attention to exact words and phrasing - assume that there are no outright lies, but that some of the phrasing is deliberately misdirecting. Also pay attention to the words themselves - most names have meaningful interpretations if you look up the translation or definition. Assume that there is a story behind every proper noun. Also *Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice* literally takes place in Ashina the "Land of Reeds".
Astrologer - interpret the fate in the stars. Research the Real World Western Constellations and there are a lot of parallels between major players, enemy types, and animals in the story - with specific attention to the "fate of the Carian Royal Family". For a start *Three Sisters* is both a constellation and a name for the Greek Fates. Also study the history of astronomy from antiquity until the current understanding that the sun is a star.
Prisoner - The Prisoner uses Carian Sorcery which places the moon and stars as equal. Vedic Astrology. A form of astrology that determines a person's personality type according to the position of the moon among the 12 zodiac constellations at time of birth. The entire history of the Lands Between is approximately structured as following a wheel of astrological progression.
Wretch - The Wretch is mostly interpreted in the context of every other class. Overall, evokes the extreme difficulty of trying to brute force an understanding without using any external reference as framework.
There are also some observations that cross categories. There is language of colour in visuals of the various aspects of the game, including plant-life, clothing, status effects and item descriptions. Gemstones of various colours have real world associations with months of the year, the planets, and chakras. Architecture and statues have parallels to real world cultures. Understanding how the history of real world metallurgy and chemistry evolved from roots in alchemy is also helpful.
Anyways, that's just an overview of the external stuff that is relevant. There are a lot of elements to environmental storytelling that are also being overlooked.

Plz.suggest some good books on western astrology🙂🙏
I have been reading Astrology books for the past 8 years and I cannot really pick one single favourite. Some have better explanation on Houses, some on aspects, etc. However if you are new to Astrology and want to learn more, I answered this question a year ago and I will copy my answer here:
"As a beginner, I liked Linda Goodman’s books. Searching  about a placement, then reading about it on every blog that showed up in the first few pages of Google search also helped a lot. Mars in different signs, Venus in the houses, etc. Different interpretations, explanations help you understand the overall meaning. I don’t recommend reading just one blog, even if you like their way of writing the best. Same for Tumblr. The search bar is helpful because it shows a variety of explanations for the topic or placement you are interested in.
Then, forums. The Linda Goodman forum is great, you can ask questions there and you’ll get many answers most of the time. There are many topics that have been discussed - aspects, overlays, rulers of houses in natal chart, synastry, pretty much anything you can think of. Transits are greatly covered too. I think it’s a great place to interact with others interested in astrology and see different perspectives, different analysis about the same thing. What I find incredible about astrology is that everyone can share their own idea of a certain topic.
In general, I don’t think that sitting and reading just one book, no matter how much it covers, helps you understand as much as constantly reading from different sources. You shouldn’t force yourself to learn everything at once, you just have to be curious, focus on a subject at a time and then try to see how you personally understand the information you received.
Now for books. I used  Openlibrary as it has a variety of astrology books that are free to borrow and some other websites. There aren’t many foreign astrology books available in my country and I don’t want to read about astrology in a language other than English.
The Twelve Houses ( Howard Sasportas), Lunar Nodes (Celeste Teal),  Hayden’s Book of Synastry, Predictive Astrology: The Eagle and the Lark, Saturn: A new look at an old devil - this is the book that made Saturn my favourite planet to learn about. There are many books and one thing I recommend is searching for what you’re interested in learning about, then going to the Books part of Google search and seeing the books that cover it.
The order of learning I’d recommend for those starting now:  Signs, Planets, Houses, Aspects, then rulers of houses, asteroids and everything else. Honestly, understaning the basics makes it easier to understand everything that comes after.
For Vedic Astrology. I don’t specialize in it, even though I used to be very interested in learning about it. If you know the basics in Western astrology, it will be easier for you. I admit that for it I used Youtube as a main source for information: KRSchannel and Joni Patry."

Durga ( ma amba, thats what we call in my sect ) is my family goddess. I love navratri and specially playing the garba. U should visit gujurat during this festival. It's a a different feel. India and astrology has a long relation. We also have birth charts.
I want to understand, if tarot is based on energy and it keeps changing, how can It predict long term relationship. Like in relation to my question
That is a beautiful suggestion and I would love to ✨🙏✨ Absolutely on my bucket list. Durga is a beautiful family goddess to have.
I have looked into Vedic Astrology in the past, as a Westerner I know a lot more about the Western system, but when I have experimented with Vedic I resonated with it strongly, if not as strongly as I do with the Western system. I swap paradigms a lot and found the results I got with Vedic were incredibly accurate. I'd argue that Vedic is actually more in depth than the Western system and I will end up studying it further in the future.
In regards to the mystery of tarot. Tarot in the west is based off the Qabbalistic Tree of Life:
Tumblr media
Image found on Etsy by AstroQabalah
I learnt to read Tarot with Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot. This depiction of the Tree of Life corresponds to his system. This is the system I will explain as there are differences in the Thoth Tarot system compared to Rider-Waite Tarot, though both use the tree as a base to their systems. The original tarot, for example the Marseille Tarot, wasn't actually based on the tree of life at all.
Each Major Arcana card is based on a different path linking the Sefirot (spheres) on the Tree of Life. These are listed in the picture above.
The Minor Arcana are based on the Sefirot themselves, for example; all the Aces correspond to Kether, the first Sefirot, all the twos to Chokmah, the second, all the threes to Binah, the third, ect, all the way down the tree until you reach Malkuth, the tenth. Each element/suit of the Minor Arcana represents one of the four worlds within that Sefirot and correspond to its element: Atziluth corresponds to Fire/Wands. Briah to Water/Cups. Yetzirah to Air/Swords. Assiah to Earth/Disks.
The court cards are somewhat different. All the Knights (in the Thoth system) correspond to Chokmah, all the Queens to Binah, all the Princes to Tiphareth, and all the Princesses to Malkuth.
In terms of how Tarot works it is somewhat of a mystery. I am inclined to believe that it connects you to the collective subconscious somehow. The Tarot is never set in stone, it seems to predict from the point in time when the question is asked. While I personally believe it can predict future events, factors or decisions can be made which alter the course of the energy and thus the reality.
