Lemme be a self insert for a moment and explain why Brahms and I would get along just fine:
I collect vintage porcelain dolls and have them all over my apartment.
Got kicked out of private school as a kid for behavioral reasons but also because I stole a golf cart and drove it into a ditch after punching a girl and locking her in the pool bathroom. Dont worry she super deserved it.
All through middle and high school i was the “puppet girl” who’d bring my fkn ventriloquist doll to school and carry him around to bother people with. His name was juan pablo and when I ran away from home my dad decided to take it out on my fkn puppet and rip his head and his arms off and drive around to find me to deliver me his corpse. He was also my prom date.
All through school again, I wanted to be artsy and wanted nothing to do with school after I left. I wanted no one to remember me so I took my photos in wigs and costume makeup and when allowed I wore masks. Literally a friend showed me a classmate’s tiktok that was showing my pictures saying “who the fuck is this bitch.”
My little art desk and workspace is literally under the stairs and I have a weird old timey “refrigerator” wooden cabinet where I store my junk in.
Used to live in a garage/basement for years. Once someone called the police on me because they thought I was breaking into the house, but no I lived there.
I make weird lil dioramas out of insects and random junk I find. I love finding weird little figures and dolls to put in my boxes.
I can play pretty much any stringed instrument.
I eat and live like a fucking goblin. Pretty much nocturnal.
My strap big.

“Keys.” He demanded.
Quickly, you pull your hand back, the other coming up to shield it. The man in front of you narrows his eyes but puts his hands back into his hoodie pocket. You open your hand, revealing a set of keys, along with a lego Darth Vader keychain. Flipping over the key fob, your black Jeep Wrangler makes the distinct sound of itself unlocking. “After you, LT.”
He opens the back passenger seat to set down his duffle bag before moving to the front. While he does that, you get yourself onto the driver's seat and start the vehicle. You check your surroundings before backing out of the parking spot and after a series of turns, you two are on the road, exiting the airport.
“Apologies about earlier, Simon,” you say, after a couple minutes of silence. “I know you want to drive but love this car way too much. Don’t want to crash it, ya know.” He glares at you as you let out an airy chuckle.
“And what do you mean by that, Sergeant?”
“Remember Las Almas? How you slammed on the breaks so fuckin’ hard that I almost went through the window, for the second time? Or that time in Moscow, where you proceeded to hit every curb you saw and we got pulled over?” You glance at him. He stares back at you, offended. And even with a facemask, it’s evident that he’s scowling at you.
Looking back at the road, you lightly elbow his arm. “Don’t worry, LT. You’re great at a lot of things.” You pause, weighing out the option of whether or not to push his buttons more before saying, “Just not driving. Or piloting. Like last month, with the helico-”
“That’ll do!” Simon raises his voice.
Palms on the steering wheel, you open your hands as a signal of surrender. “I’m just jesting, Simon.” You give him a half-hearted smile. He sinks down into his seat, with his arms crossed.
45 minutes passed and the only sound you hear are the cars on the road. Simon looks out of the window, taking sight of the buildings rushing by. In the distance, he can see the large mountain range.
The whole team was given a month of leave after the last mission went up in flames. Literally, burning helicopters and all. While the guys usually went back to the UK, you had invited them to your mountain home in Colorado. Ghost initially declined but after you and Soap begged on your knees, he reluctantly agreed. And now he regrets it after you made fun of his driving skills. But at least it was just you and not the rest of the team. Actually, he’s grateful that they’re flying in tomorrow. Didn’t want to handle three idiots in a car.
“I got a CD folder in the glove box,” You break the silence. “It’s your pick too. Long drives are better with music.”
Simon gives you a nod and begins flipping through the case. He recognizes most of the albums, and taking a closer look, some of the art on them are flaking off.
“Never thought you’d still have CDs this old,” he comments.
“Half of them are my grandpa’s. I’m just adding on to it.”
He hums in response. Spotting a maroon colored disk, he rotates it, reading ‘Queen: Greatest Hits’. Carefully pulling it out of its pocket, he hands it to you. Left hand on the wheel, you stick your finger in the middle and glance at it. Nodding, you slide it into the car player.
“Good choice.”
“Brits have good music.”
“I agree with that.”
Flicking your eyes down to the display screen, you skip the first eight tracks. Without looking, you can tell that Simon is giving you a disapproving look. “We’ll come back to it, promise. Just want to listen to this first.”
He turns his eyes back on the road before him, the first couple notes of ‘You’re My Best Friend’ playing out. They’re in the mountains now, the roads becoming more twisty. Slowly down a bit on the turns, you let the windows down a couple inches. He hears you quietly sing along with the song. Rolling his eyes, Simon leans back on his seat again. Again, looking out the window, enjoying the greenery. It reminds him of the long drives to his aunt's house. Green blurs of evergreen trees passing by. Turning his head to look at you, his heart picks up the pace.
He doesn’t see you. Instead, it was a woman in her early thirties. The driver window slightly opened, leaving her light brown hair flying behind her ears. Hands tapping on the steering wheel on beat with the music. Hazel eyes meeting his. There were bags under them, dark circles hidden by makeup. She smiles at him, little wrinkles appearing on the corner of her eyes, along with two dimples, one of each side of her smile. Just like his. Opening her mouth, she sings along with the song,
“Ooh, you make me live Whenever this world is cruel to me I got you to help me forgive Ooh, you make me live now, honey Ooh, you make me live.”
His mom stops singing. “Simon!” she calls out. “Come on, love. Sing with your ma!”
He’s too stunned to say anything, he just stares at her. “Simon?” Her smile drops, eyebrows furrowed with worry.
“Simon?” Her voice sounds muffled.
“Simon?!” It’s like echoes now.
“Lieutenant Riley?!” That one snapped him out.
Heart beating like a drum, he opens his eyes, staring at the bottom of his hoodie before looking back up. It’s just you, Crash, his sergeant. Not his mother. But the worried look you give him is identical to hers.
You give him an apologetic smile. “I’m sorry to wake you up LT.” His eyebrows go up with confusion, he didn’t know he was even sleeping. “We’re here.”
Simon steps out of the jeep, closing the door behind him. Taking a look of his surroundings, he glances up at the towering evergreen trees, just like the ones in his childhood. Just like the ones at home.

Can you expand on your mermaid au? (Nothing specific, I just wanted to know more about it)
oh aBSOLUTELY! :D behold: How the Ninja pod met Zane.
Zane, a merdroid, has some issues figuring out the nuances of merfolk culture and went out of his way to find a group of merfolk to help him understand their lifestyle. Initially the ninja wanted absolutely nothing to do with Zane. He was evidently a robot sent down by the humans to collect data on them. He did seem kind and genuinely curious and wanted to make friends, but he was not to be trusted. (Merfolk have a stigma against humans still generations after a massive 100 year war between the merfolk and humans. Both species stay to their own corners of Ninjago now).
While evading a nearby feeding frenzy of sharks, Jay didn’t notice the ship above him. Zane, seeing that Jay was about to become mincemeat from the massive propellers of the ship, swam as fast as he could and pushed him out of the way, leaving himself to be left to the mercy of the propeller.
Zane, left arm ripped from his socket, torso gouged with deep scars as his wiring and protective outer casing now filled with water, damaging some of his more fragile internal components, looked at Jay as the eel Mer swam to him and was horrified at the wreckage that was this merdroid he and his friends were so distrusting of.
Jay looked at the broken mangled form of Zane as the merdroid moved his remaining arm to cup Jay’s cheek as his UI on his HUD flashed red with dozens of errors and a wall of injuries in a scrolling status report covering half of his vision.
Jay was horrified as Zane asked him simply “are you alright?” In the most concerned and heartfelt that Jay didn’t expect to hear out of a being made of metal and wires.
Jay didn’t even know this man but he cried for this being who put their own safety before his, a being they shunned and ignored and yet saved his life. Jay choked out a “yes”, his hands going to hold Zane’s hand that held his cheek.
Zane smiled, his voice now staticky and skipping like a scratched disk, “g-goo-g-good.” Before his eyes dimmed and his face went slack.
Jay barely registers the rest of his friends surrounding him, some of them also sporting tears in their eyes.
This robot was made to collect data on them and they believed it was faking its attitude to get on their good side, but looking back on it, the merdroid was genuinely wanting to get to know them. Its questions about various actions they were doing or methods of harvesting kelp and capturing food wasn’t ones of data harvesting (although it might’ve been pre programmed by its creators), but ones of genuine curiosity and out of a willingness to learn.
Zane didn’t deserve this.
Jay needed to fix his and his friends mistake.
—-
It’s been weeks since The Boat Incident. Jay is holed up in an underwater alcove nestled next to the shore. Himself, Nya, and Kai have been slowly repairing Zane’s injuries in an arduously slow task. They have no blueprints besides engraved markings on the inside of Zane’s stomach plate, presumably for situations just like this, but they had no idea how to decipher the technically complicated blueprints that went way above their realm of knowledge.
Slowly welding, repairing, and fitting Zane back together has been an extremely grueling and exhaustive process. They don’t need to fully fix him at the moment, they just need to bring him online so he can inform them how to properly repair him.
The trio finally manages to properly repair Zane’s power source, a strange contraption that lays where one’s heart should be, and turn the merdroid back on and wait with a baited breath.
Zane’s eyes flicker for a moment before turning on fully with the beautiful blue light that had been there previous to the boat accident.
They all were close to crying. After all of that hard arduous work they brought back the man that saved Jay’s life.
The android noticed the Mers and perked up, “Jay! You’re alright! Thank the heavens, I was worried I was too late.”
Zane frowned, “I believe I may have said that before. It appears my memory banks have been damaged.”
Zane’s eyes glanced down, noticing the still exposed damage of his torso, “it appears my memory banks might be the least of my worries right now.”
He looks up back at Jay, smiling with those perfect metal teeth, radiating kindness and warmth, “none the less, I’m glad you’re alright. I was worried I didn’t make it in time.”
—-
It took many more months to completely repair Zane, the collection of scrap metal to repair the merdroid was no simple task, nor was the switch from human technology to the blend of merfolk and human tech that made Zane more comparable with his underwater existence.
One of Zane’s many issues was his disconnected continuous audio and visual feeds for the researchers at Julian Laboratories. After many email chains sent from Zane (he was programmed to make weekly summary reports as an ever continuous email chain) and the researchers, they allowed him to choose what visual and audio files to send to them on a daily basis and had permission to omit data if it would harm the trust of the mers he befriended (the investors at Borg Industries were NOT happy to hear this but after hearing about the merfolk tech that enhanced the androids abilities and skills tenfold, they relented and agreed to the terms, as did the researchers but with far easier acceptance).
The researchers were initially worried that Zane wouldn’t send any information, twisting their new rules to prevent any data from coming through, but they were delighted to be sent incredibly well sorted files of mer hunting practices, interesting aquatic species may they be new species or showing interesting and unseen movements like breeding, hunting, or caring for their young.
Zane omitted personal moments with his friends, secrets they shared to him, moments they explicitly said to not record, and other bits and pieces of information he chose not to inform the researchers about.
Although it was an unorthodox way of making friends and establishing a pod for Zane to be in, it was successful. Zane could complete his mission of discovery and data collection and gain a family. That day was an incredibly harrowing one but he wouldn’t change it a bit if he could. He loves his friends and wouldn’t change it for the world

Ok I’m all for the theory that the HLAGE gnome is Benry, but. Has anyone considered that it might be the entire science team fused into one entity? I mean, there was Dr. Coomers whole speech about how Gordon should put them on a floppy disk and carry them around irl, doesn’t the gnome kind of carry that same purpose now that it’s a physical object?
I mean, the gnome constantly complimenting Benrey and talking about how great he is 24/7 sounds like Benrey (as well as just generally fucking with Gordon). The gnome saying stuff like “Hello, Gordon” even ending with “Goodbye, Gordon” is like Dr Coomer (plus its self awareness of chat) (plus its tamagotchi style meters)z It’s forgetfulness and tendency to get off topic is Tommy (Also the gnomes love of Peppa pig, come on, Tommy would LOVE Peppa pig). It’s pride and obviously holding itself in high regard is Bubby (I’d also like to think Bubby is the one obsessed with the Marlboros).
There’s also the fact that all of RTVS controlled the gnome backs this up that its multiple entities. Like obviously it constantly changing its mind and arguing with itself was meant to be a bit, but when you think about what it means canonically I don’t think the idea that the gnome is multiple people is too far off.
My final piece of evidence is that we LITERALLY see the gnome in the last place we saw the science team, the theater they watched the cast commentary in. It’s definitely the same one, the gnome even directly mentions the soda left in the cup holder that Tommy offered to Gordon in the cast commentary.
Im DEFINITELY thinking about this too hard but my poor little brain needs and explanation for this series it was so cool!!!

The Truth to Light
This was supposed to be a drabble. Day one of Side Hoes Week 2023 featuring Tucker and the prompt "power up!"
Characters: Tucker, the news Words: 1458 Warnings: descriptions of dissecc
[ao3]
****
Tucker powered up his desktop. Anticipation permeated the air, buzzing around the light and bouncing off the walls. Underneath it stank of stress, and below that, rotting deep in the recess of Tucker’s mind was a hint of dread.
Today was the day.
Today would bring the truth to light.
He could have run the program yesterday, or even the day before. But something stopped him. Insecurity prickled his brain, worming its way up his spine and whispering flavors of, “It will never work…you’ll get caught…you’re not good enough at hacking…you’re not that smart…” in his ear.
But no, he was done. He couldn’t let this go on any longer—not if he had the power to stop it.
And so, today was the day.
He entered his password, then watched as his profile loaded in. Each increase of the bar brought a rise in tension, and he could have sworn his fingers were trembling as he booted up the virtual machine.
There was no more running. Not from this.
Danny needed him.
Amity Park needed him.
Hell, the world needed him.
Even if no one would ever find out who did it.
He clicked on Tor, went to his normal site, opened the chat log, and typed two words in:
>geeksquad: I’m ready.
>cr0mb: You sure?
>Petabyte: Hell yeah, dude.
>geeksquad: Yeah. It’s time.
****
The video was fuzzy, the frames were clunky. But even so, no amount of low-resolution could mask the horrors on the screen.
Ectoplasm on the floor, the walls. The metal table. The tubes, needles (ugh), metal instruments. The screams, shaky breathing, choked sobs. The deep voice, sadistic chuckles, flat, bored tones.
The image of his best friend on the screen, grasping onto his chest, ectoplasm seeping through his fingers.
Traumatizing, Tucker realized, wrapping his hands around his perched knees. Watching this, knowing that this was real, was traumatizing.
And yet, this wasn’t a memory he would be able to unpack in therapy later. Because all this evidence of Tucker’s involvement lived on a hard drive that no one would ever find. No one could ever know.
Not even Sam.
He cut this portion from its tape, dragging the new selection down onto the end of the dozens of other clips just like it. Tucker was going to release the videos in their entirety, of course, but there were weeks worth of content. The likelihood that the average person would even have the disk space to download that amount of content was laughable.
And so, a highlights reel was necessary, and Tucker had to be the one to do it. Which meant he had to sit here alone watching hours of his best friend being tortured. He had to sit here alone and choose the “best” moments to showcase. He had to sit here alone and edit the next viral video together.
And he would do it because Danny would die without it.
How’s that for a ride-or-die friendship, huh?
Danny, you owe me, dude, he tried to joke in his head, but even that tasted sour to him.
He shook the creeping fog from his mind and sat back up straight, put his hand back on his mouse, and got back to work.

“We would like to warn you that our next segment contains imagery that is extremely graphic and may be upsetting to some viewers.
“Earlier today, a data breach on the US federal government revealed leaked video footage showcasing details within the Ghost Investigation Ward. The video footage, initially uploaded to Tor under the username Geeksquad, showed graphic treatment and experiments involving Amity Park’s local ghostly hero, Danny Phantom, who disappeared two months ago. Since then, it has been reuploaded all over the internet, sending the world into a frenzy. The video footage revealed insight into the hero who was shown to morph between his popular ghostly appearance, and that of a human, teenage boy as shown here. The teenage boy has been identified as sixteen-year-old Daniel Fenton, child of the famous ghost hunter family, who has been reported missing for the last two months. His family claims they did not know that their child was a ghost, and also expressed doubt that Phantom and their son were connected, suggesting that it may be an attempt for Phantom to gain sympathy from the agents.
“We will keep you updated as more information arrives regarding this story.”
****
“Breaking news on the details of the leaked Phantom files from the Ghost Investigation Ward. Close friends to Daniel Fenton, the human child that Phantom morphs into numerous times throughout the videos, came out stating that Daniel Fenton and Danny Phantom are, in fact, one and the same. The teenagers told reporters from APC News that Daniel had been in a lab accident in his parents' laboratory two years ago, and that they witnessed the event. They claim that ever since the accident, Daniel had been able to morph appearances between his ghostly and human persona. The teenagers also claim that the accident both killed him and brought him back to life, and as such Daniel still has a heartbeat and a pulse.
“If this information is true, that could mean severe issues for the Ghost Investigation Ward. Already, protests have broken out in Washington DC as well as Amity Park, Illinois. APC News here with more details to come.”
****
“As more unfolds about the leaked files from the federal Ghost Investigation Ward, more questions regarding experimentation ethics and the blurred laws between humans and ecto-entities are coming to light.
“APC News was able to interview an anonymous source from within the Ghost Investigation Ward earlier today, who claims that the agents within the GIW did know that Daniel Fenton Phantom had a heartbeat and a pulse.
“‘A heartbeat and a pulse…you know what the implication of this means, correct?’
“‘We all did. And not only that, but we also knew that if his heartbeat stops, then he would die.’
“‘Die. That’s an interesting choice of words.’
“‘It is, isn’t it?’
“The director for the FBI put out a statement saying that while the GIW has been sanctioned to perform experiments to further the knowledge and understanding of ecto-entities, also known as ghosts, they are not authorized to operate outside of the law and perform experiments on US Citizens.
“The director of the GIW, under the code name Agent Alpha, also put out a statement citing that Danny Phantom registers as a level seven ecto-entity and does not qualify as a human, despite the appearance of human organs that seem like life-support. He stated that like other ghosts, Phantom relies on an ecto-core to exist and that his human organs are merely imprints of when he was alive. He reiterates that the Ghost Investigation Ward did not operate outside of the law while Phantom was under their custody.
“Phantom has been relocated to a holding cell while internal investigation and legal proceedings occur.”
****
“Tucker…” Sam’s tilted her head. Dark circles tattooed the skin under her eyes, and her chapped lips pressed into a thin line. She’d lost weight, and her cheeks were hollow, sharp. And yet, that hint of a spark in her eye, that silent flame of determination, had yet to go out.
Although, for as run-down as Sam was, Tucker was sure he looked about the same.
“What is it?” he asked.
“Do you know who the hacker was?”
Tucker was lucky he was such a practiced liar. But even still, he was sure that not even he could mask how thrown off he was at that question. “How would I know who he was?”
“I know you hang around those circles.”
“Yeah, but it’s all anonymous. I don’t know who anyone is. And besides.” He leaned back in some faux attempt of acting nonchalant. “There are so many hacking groups out there, Sam. It’s not that small or tight-knit of a community.”
“Yeah, I figured,” she said, though her eyes didn’t relax. “I just found it odd, you know?”
He could feel his heart skip a beat. “What’s odd?”
“Well, I found it odd that the GIW was targeted when they had Phantom. And no one else knew that Phantom was there except for us.”
“Or, maybe other people figured it out.”
“Maybe…”
“Come on, it’s not that implausible. Danny disappeared for two months. That’s not really his MO. I’m sure some gray-hat group online did the process of elimination on where he could be and figured out he was with the Guys in White.”
“Yeah.” Sam’s gaze went to her knees, where her hands were clasped. Tucker followed her sight and realized that her fingers were shaking.
He let his tone turn more serious. “Sorry, I don’t know who leaked the files. I promise.”
“Okay,” she said, her voice small. “I believe you.”

The effects of interplanetary space on asteroid Ryugu
Samples reveal evidence of changes experienced by the surface of asteroid Ryugu, some probably due to micrometeoroid bombardment.
Analyzing samples retrieved from the asteroid Ryugu by the Japanese Space Agency’s Hayabusa2 spacecraft has revealed new insights into the magnetic and physical bombardment environment of interplanetary space. The results of the study, carried out by Professor Yuki Kimura at Hokkaido University and co-workers at 13 other institutions in Japan, are published in the journal Nature Communications.
The investigations used electron waves penetrating the samples to reveal details of their structure and magnetic and electric properties, a technique called electron holography.
Hayabusa2 reached asteroid Ryugu on 27 June 2018, collected samples during two delicate touchdowns, and then returned the jettisoned samples to Earth in December 2020. The spacecraft is now continuing its journey through space, with plans for it to observe two other asteroids in 2029 and 2031.
One advantage of collecting samples directly from an asteroid is that it allows researchers to examine long-term effects of its exposure to the environment of space. The ‘solar wind’ of high energy particles from the sun and bombardment by micrometeoroids cause changes known as space-weathering. It is impossible to study these changes precisely using most of the meteorite samples that land naturally on Earth, partly due to their origin from the internal parts of an asteroid, and also due to the effects of their fiery descent through the atmosphere.
“The signatures of space weathering we have detected directly will give us a better understanding of some of the phenomena occurring in the Solar System,” says Kimura. He explains that the strength of the magnetic field in the early solar system decreased as planets formed, and measuring the remnant magnetization on asteroids can reveal information about the magnetic field in the very early stages of the solar system.
Kimura adds, “In future work, our results could also help to reveal the relative ages of surfaces on airless bodies and assist in the accurate interpretation of remote sensing data obtained from these bodies.”
One particularly interesting finding was that small mineral grains called framboids, composed of magnetite, a form of iron oxide, had completely lost their normal magnetic properties. The researchers suggest this was due to collision with high velocity micrometeoroids between 2 and 20 micrometers in diameter. The framboids were surrounded by thousands of metallic iron nanoparticles. Future studies of these nanoparticles will hopefully reveal insights into the magnetic field that the asteroid has experienced over long periods of time.
“Although our study is primarily for fundamental scientific interest and understanding, it could also help estimate the degree of degradation likely to be caused by space dust impacting robotic or manned spacecraft at high velocity,” Kimura concludes.

Shadow Puppets AU - Wittebros + Evelyn Lore Dump
tw: Sexual assault
Disclaimer from myself and Bragi
Tumblr media
-While the story went that Caleb and Philip arrived in Gravesfield alone as orphaned brothers, the truth was actually even more horrible. Philip is not Caleb’s brother, and is actually is nephew through a teenage sister, the product of a rape and since she could not name the father the baby was condemned as a son of the Devil -Caleb and his sister managed to escape their hometown with a small group undesirables and traveled together for a couple of years with Caleb becoming Philip’s primary caregiver when his mother wanted nothing to do with the child and eventually abandoned them all together. -This is a truth that Caleb took to his grave, Philip never learned of this while he was alive and only kind of learned about this upon his return to Gravesfield and encountered a certain member of the community that claimed to be a descendant of this long lost sister- Philip refuses to believe it. In fact by the time of his death, Caleb himself had actually forgotten they weren’t really brothers. -Philip was six when they arrived in Gravesfield, Caleb was twelve. They had nothing and were taken in by the town Preacher, Father Josiah and allowed to live in the church and attend the Sunday school where they were taught to read and write. -As much as a blessing as this at first seemed, Father Josiah was secretly molesting Philip behind closed doors. Caleb found out, but Josiah had also found out about Caleb’s sister and threatened to expose them to keep Caleb quiet while telling Philip “The Lord has big plans for you” to control him. -This situation did not change until Philip met Astrophel at eight years old and he was able to manifest long enough to attack Josiah to protect Philip. Amidst the accusations that Philip had summoned a demon and the debate that he was protected by an Angel, other children came forward to admit that Josiah had been assaulting them as well, leading the town to suspect Josiah of being corrupted by a Demon himself and burned at the stake. -While not entirely evident in the early part of his life, Philip is an autistic savant with a talent for engineering, and struggles to socially connect with anyone outside of his brother and his mysterious friend Astrophel. He was a hard worker though, and when he finished his chores he would help Caleb with his so they had more time to play. -Caleb also knows about Astrophel. They didn’t know that people could only see the Collector if they touched the disk until they tested it with Caleb. He wasn’t as certain as Philip that Astrophel was an Angel, but he was just glad his brother had a friend. -The brothers began dabbling in Witch Hunting after the death of Father Josiah, and Caleb first met Evelyn as she was using her powers as a real witch to save accused human witches from being hung. Caleb at first lied to her about not being a witch hunter and they became friends. -Evelyn had several vials of Titan’s blood at her disposal which she used to create portals to Gravesfield, but rarely met Caleb in person after their initial meeting and mostly used her Palismen, Flapjack to send letters between them. -She had only met Philip a handful of times and never actually saw his face because Philip always had his mask on around her, which she admitted to Caleb, creeped her out a lot. -Philip never suspected that she was a real witch until he saw her taking Caleb to the Demon Realm, he just didn’t like her because she...lightly bullied him, I guess is the best way to put it? Like, she didn’t intend to be mean, she was trying to be affectionate, giving him the nickname ‘Philly’ which he hated, ruffling his hair and breaching all sorts of personal boundaries that he didn’t like, but she really was just trying to bond with him. -Also during one of their in person visits, Evelyn suggested Caleb run away from Gravesfield with her, which Caleb refused to do because he couldn’t leave his brother behind, and Evelyn said something along the lines of ‘C’mon, you gave up your childhood to raise your brother, its time to do something for yourself for a change.” Philip heard her say this. Thankfully he also heard Caleb get mad at her for suggesting that taking care of his brother was a burden. -Caleb and Evelyn had a couple of personal conflicts throughout their friendship, actually, including Evelyn finding out that Caleb was a witch-hunter in training and saying their friendship was over  -Eveyln had heard about Astrophel from Caleb and recognized the disk from ancient scrolls and returned to the Demon Realm to refresh her memory on what it was. After their fight about the Witch-Hunter reveal, she returned with a warning that the Collector is a dangerous being that was responsible for wiping out the Titans of her homeworld and convinced Caleb to take the disk into the Demon Realm with her for his brother’s sake. -Knowing that Philip would never believe that Astrophel was dangerous, they stole the disk in the middle of the night. Evelyn only had two vials of Titan’s blood left and they had to make a choice between taking Caleb with her and bringing him back or leaving a vial for Philip to find and meet them in the Demon Realm later. -Caleb left a letter explaining the situation to Philip, including instructions to find a map that they had hidden in ‘the secret place’ (under the floorboards) which would lead him to the vial of Titan’s Blood to follow them. -Things would have gone down much differently if Philip had ever gotten this letter. Unfortunately, he woke up when Caleb was leaving to meet Evelyn and saw them go through the portal with no context. He immediately went to get the Witch Hunter General and a few other Hunters to go on a rescue mission.  -The letter was recovered from the abandoned Wittebane home after their disappearance which is how the story of the Wittebanes got passed down through Gravesfield, but the map was never found. -Philip was twelve at the time of his brother’s disappearance, Caleb was eighteen. The Witch Hunters all slowly died during the rescue mission leaving Philip on his own by the time he was fifteen after which the worst possible thing that could happen to him happened and he still didn’t find his brother until he was in his early twenties and then it got worse. -After Caleb’s death, Philip began searching for Astrophel with Evelyn creating false disks to throw him off and hot on his trail trying to kill the monster he’s become for many years.

What does Cereza look like and how tall is she compared to the other characters and pokemon (it feels weird calling them characters)
*me vibrating at the exact frequency required to shatter glass* yeah I can do that for you
(I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ASK (scroll to the end for some sketches of Cereza))
SO FOR STARTERS
Cereza is NOT tall, she's like maybe five feet somethin' short. She's Kieran's height during the Teal Mask and stays the same height forever. She does wear thick boots or sneakers all the time though in order to remedy this. Chunky soles are also good for traction and she climbs everything. She likes having stompers. Cereza seems taller than she is cuz she's all arms and legs, little gangly creature. She's also very sticklike, if you shook her she would make a rattling sound. All her muscle is very lean. Compact cryptid. I should clarify that I subscribe to the headcanon Kieran gets a growth spurt over the timeskip between the Teal Mask and the Indigo Disk. I think he shoots up to Amarys's height but still has issues with slouching so he might not seem like exactly the same height. Height is evidently in his genes if Carmine is any evidence. He's not done growing. (Cereza is pissed that she's not getting any taller and Kieran IS STILL GROWING) Cereza looks fucking hilarious next to all her huge freaking pokemon. Little creature next to big creature(s)
Cereza's hair is very specific in color and style in my brain. It's very wild and thick, as well as very long. It's the same consistency of a Hex Maniac's from the gen 6 games. Cereza's hair is ash blonde/white, exactly like the ash white option in game except the white streaks are even whiter (especially in the Indigo Disc, partially because fluorescents). It's very pale and muted, probably a shade lighter than the ash white in game depending on the lighting. Her hair is nigh constantly in low twintails that reach about her hips to maybe her thigh in length (it does grow over the timeskip, but it's so wild that it's kinda hard to notice especially since her bangs don't change). She will do little mini braids in her hair sometimes purely as a fidgeting habit to keep her hands busy or that piece of her hair isn't cooperating, and she wants it outta the way. Cereza's hair is the perfect length and consistency to play with and do things with. Lacey has to use every ounce of self-control in her body not to play with Cereza's hair. Deadeye has no such self-control and will bite at Cereza's hair all the time. Hair color refs!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(DUDE THE IMAGES ARE SO BIG HOW DO I MAKE THEM SMALLER-) and also a hex maniac for hair texture reference
Tumblr media
Moving on, Cereza's eyes are a darker red in Teal Mask, more discreet, but in the Indigo Disc they've gotten more saturated to the point of becoming a startling red. Her eyes are really big and round and sharp at the same time?? like they're round but her eyelines and eyelashes are pretty sharp. Her eyelashes are dark and pretty long. I would say her eyelashes are a dark DARK brown as opposed to black. Her eyes are very reminiscent of Briar's but a slightly different shape. Her pupils have a four-pointed star shape. This is not foreshadowing anything /lying
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cereza also has a beauty mark under each eye, perfectly identical and symmetric. (research says they're called tear moles, and they signify bad luck or hardship in life. It fits for plot reasons you'll see later lmao) She also has faint freckles all over, they're light enough that they aren't visible at a glance but you can see 'em if you squint. They would be more visible if she went out more during the day. Cryptid ass.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Posting this sketch is genuinely so scary like putting my own art on the internet? BLEGH. Giving people a visual of my own character? BLEGH.
Alright that's Cereza. Have some bonus sketches of the boys.
Tumblr media
might transfer them to digital. idk. Anyway, thanks for staying this long!!!!!!
✨Do whatever you want forever✨

An idea I’ve always enjoyed thinking about is art student Sasha. Yeah, he’s a scientist that works with machines and brains, and knows psychology stuff like brain workings and dream interpretations, which you’d think require some sort of higher education. And I’m not saying he wouldn’t have those kinds of degrees. But I think it’s amusing how often Sasha is talked about being a genius, and his intellectualism and all about his experiments… and then I glance over at the source material and the most evidence we get for education actually implies he was an art student and that’s hilarious to me.
There’s the title to the track that plays in his level, “A Mind of Bauhaus Principles,” in which the Bauhaus is an art school. There’s the second face of the cube in the level which has like spinning disks on rods and I don’t really know what this part is supposed to represent, but the figments are of like drawings and people at pottery wheels so the best explanation I have is a collection of strange art projects(or since all of the memories in the level are negative, failed/frustrating/difficult art projects). The cube itself is painted in a Bauhaus style. The Psychoportal that Raz “borrows” from Sasha doesn’t have machinery or neural pathways decorated on it but painted rectangles that are more artsy than scientist themed. And when Raz meets Edgar, a literal prisoner of art, and throws Sasha’s Psychoportal to enter his mind, Edgar comments on the door. “Are you working on an abstract piece? …Nice use of color.” (Of course the comment could be about Raz entering the mind, I think the other inmates have comments while entering, but Edgar starts talking before the door even opens. I think both could be valid interpretations.)
But I like the references to Sasha being artsy, it’s a nice touch. Especially since people on the Spectrum often are both intellectually and artistically talented, but often autistic characters are often displayed having one or the other. I think the reasoning for this is because each part is often attributed to different sides of the brain, so having a character both smart and artistic is a strange idea? But actually having a character on the Spectrum have both is a nice touch. It’s also neat because being an artist has little to do with being a Psychonaut, it’s not part of his job. Much like the space/alien interest it’s a nice little detail that being a Psychonaut is not Sasha’s core identity, he has other things going on which is a humanizing detail.
I personally have the headcanon that initially Sasha went to college for art, but then stopped for some reason(stress, money, mental breakdown, etc.), got scouted by the Psychonauts and then switched gears to a more intellectual based degree like psychology or engineering or something. And ever since joining the Psychonauts, he always had the goal of going back and completing that art degree so he’s been saving a portion of his salary for whenever that happens. Then years after the fact, decided to start on that again and eventually completed it on the side. He’s not ever going to use it, to his knowledge, because he likes his job as a Psychonaut. But it’s the degree he’s the most proud of and exclusively has it hung up in a nice frame in his house. He has his other degrees at work as a symbol that he knows what he’s doing, but he gets the most joy observing the art degree, either from how hard it took to eventually get it with all the stops or just from intrinsic value.
He’s probably doodling all the time at work in secret. People in meetings are secretly intimidated/impressed about how quickly and dedicated Sasha is at taking notes. But he’s actually just absentmindedly scribbling on the free page he gives himself in the stack of papers he gives himself for actual notes and annotations. It’s an invisible stim that gets you to use your entire hand to do controlled, impulsive movements but in a socially acceptable way. Plus art is therapeutic, so it’ll be a nice way to step away from an infuriating experiment to calm down and approach it later with a more stable mental space.
I think Milla found out about it because they were sitting together in a meeting and she hadn’t heard anything particularly worth taking a note on yet, but for some reason Sasha’s pen/pencil hasn’t stopped moving. So she looked over his shoulder to see what she was missing in the meeting, and just found artistic renditions of various objects and people in the room plus some random scribbles. She looked away before Sasha could notice her peeking, but he noticed her anyway. They talked about it later, and she thought it was pretty cool. Milla even asked if he could draw her, and he did, though he immediately apologized saying that he was never proficient at female anatomy. She loved the drawing anyway, and she still has it. But she had to give it back and insist that he sign it, because he didn’t initially. It took some convincing, but she did get the sketch signed by the artist, to which Sasha thought she was too giddy over.
In meetings she occasionally looks over at the sketch page, smiling, almost getting them both in trouble by laughing at a couple. She always insists that he draw her more often, and you can see the improvements between each drawing. Some are in color, some are in black and white, some look more experimental, and some are in mixed medium. Milla saves them all regardless.
The one drawing that always makes her tear up is one in her old nurse’s outfit. When they moved in together, she couldn’t throw it away because of the memories, both good and bad. Regardless, she wanted to put it on and look at herself in the outfit after all these years and after how much she’d changed. But she ended up being unable to put it on, stashing it in the back of the closet. She was able to play the piano and look after children again, but she couldn’t put the outfit on no matter how badly she wanted to see herself in it. Milla said over dinner how she remembers she looked back then, noting that she wore her hair up in a neat bun rather than down like she usually does. And then later that night, she was handed a piece of thick paper that depicted her wearing the outfit. It was in a pose and with an expression that she never had worn back then, but it was definitely the current Milla Vodello wearing that outfit with the accompanying hairstyle. She ended up bawling when she saw it and had to explain through tears that she was really happy with it and grateful for it.
On nights where neither of them have to stay late working, I like to imagine Milla seated at a piano, playing whatever song comes to her at that moment, and Sasha sitting with a book off to the side, listening to the pleasant melody. When she gets tired of playing she’d get up so they could sit together. And she’d realize at some point between her getting up to play and sitting down together, that without her noticing he’d put his book down and started sketching her without her knowledge. She’d chuckle, since it happens occasionally, and ask why. She’d get some answer about how her form was interesting, or it was her expression, or the shadows…but each drawing just has this pure joy emanating from her from the elegant lines.

Who is more villainous – Anakin Skywalker\Darth Vader or MCU!Loki?
There’re two trends in Marvel and Star Wars media – ‘Loki is such a bad person, worst of all’ and ‘Anakin never did anything wrong, he was the best Jedi ever’. Both have sad and tragic backstories, both turn bad, both iconic villains. So I decided to have my own small investigation – is Disney justified in their attitude?
What are Loki’s crimes?
1.Setting up his brother (coronation situation) – ‘to delay his idiotic rule for a while longer’, as Thor obviously wasn’t ready. Evidence from the movie show that he didn’t even want them to go down to Jotunheim – he expected to be stopped by Heimdall and even sent for a guard to tell Odin about their departure [1 - 4.12]. For the sake of ‘Loki making bad decisions’ – count.
2. Usurped the throne – no! Frigga gave it to him [2]. Don’t count.
3. Almost killing Thor – frankly, when he gives Thor a slap with the Destroyer, it looked as if he wasn’t trying to actively kill him, more like lashed out. Still, count.
4. Killing Laufey, his biological father – count.
5. Attempted genocide of the Jotuns – * sarcasm* nevermind that he was doing exactly the same thing as Odin (slow murder is still murder. I’d say Loki even shows more mercy – at least he’d kill quickly, not slowly making the planet decay for a thousand years.). Not trying to say the idea was good, just pointing out the hypocrisy in- and out-universe. Count.
6. New York – in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ we learn that 74 people were lost during the invasion. ‘80 people in two days’ per Natasha are mostly on Fury – Loki had no way of knowing the place would be destroyed. It’s clear from the movie that the facility was already unstable due to tinkering with the Tesseract. Why didn’t Fury stop the experiments and start evacuating people? And the most important factor – mind influence [3, also], though it’s unclear to what extent, and coercion. For the sake of ‘Loki killed innocent people’ – count 154 ( + Coulson, but looking at 7 seasons of ‘Agents of SHIELD’, I find it hard to count him in.).
7. ‘Loki killed his mother’ bullshit – all he did was lead the Kurse out of the prison a little bit faster. Anyway Malekith already knew where the Aether was, it was him who killed her. Why not blame Thor or Odin with the same vigor as Loki? So, don’t count.
8. Loki usurped the throne – he offered Thor the throne, Thor refused [4]. Of course, he lied to Thor pretending to be Odin. I’ll give it half a count.
From the moment Taika Waititi came, it becomes hard to count, as he never cared about canonical portrayal of characters and actively hated Asgard [5]. Both Loki and Thor are absolutely different from as they were shown in pervious installments. I cannot value the movie where a) the director never watched any of previous films and b) improvised 80% of the movie [6]. But to see the full picture of Original Loki (however askew it becomes from this moment), I’ll be brief.
9. Loki being a bad king – paying attention to arts and giving freedom of self-governing to other planets is bad? Don’t count. And yes, Ragnarok is on Odin – Loki had no way of knowing about it, just as anyone else except Odin himself.
10. Loki betraying Thor all the time – this was improvised, such as ‘the snake story’ and ‘obedience disk’ moment [7], thus can’t be seen as direct continuation of character consistency. Don’t count.
I’m absolutely going to ignore whatever crap Michael Waldron did in the Loki series. I refuse to take into consideration the writing of a person who a) never watched an ounce of Loki-related media and b) just rehashed his own original script [8]. And anyway, he’s a Variant!Loki, not OG!Loki, they’re different people.
Sum up: kind of set up his brother, almost killed abovementioned brother, killed his biological father, attempted genocide, killed 154 people, kind of took the throne.
What are Darth Vader’s crimes? (I count everything that he’d done while he was still Anakin. No matter how Disney tries to pretend, Anakin IS Vader, not two separate entities [1].)
1.Slaughter of the whole Tusken camp, including women and children. Yes, they killed his mother. No, still murder. Count.
2. Torture of a prisoner in ‘The Clone Wars’ s2 ep.8. Good guys don’t torture anyone (yes, looking at you, TR!Thor). [Frankly, if we speak about TCW, the situation is a little bit difficult, because war. I pointed out the torture moment, because you can’t claim the character is perfectly good if he knowingly tortured someone with the Empire’s melody in the background.] Count.
3. Beating up his wife’s ex to the pulp in s.2 ep.4, knowing that she’s flirting with him not because she wants so, but because of the job. Count.
4. Slaughter of younglings in the Jedi Temple. Count.
5. Betrayal of the clones. Leading a brainwashed army (who presumably were his friends) to kill his family (Jedi). Count.
6. Choking his wife. Even better, pregnant wife (doesn’t make it acceptable if she weren’t, though.). Count.
7. Trying to kill his best friend / master / father figure, twenty years later succeeding. Count.
8. Slaughter of all the remaining Jedi across the galaxy, destruction of their culture. Yes, Palpatine manipulated him, but he could have helped Mace Windu [2], and none of that would’ve happened. He didn’t, thus making his choice clear. Count.
9. Maintaining the fascist regime across the galaxy for more than twenty years. Count.
10. Choking his subordinates. Count.
11. Trying to kill his Padawan (‘Rebels’, s.3 ep.22), almost succeeding. Count.
12. Maiming his own child and trying to kill him when he refused to join him. Count.
In case of Vader, lots of his kills remain off-screen, and here go speculations. Different sources (Reddit, ScreenRant, Youtube bloggers) name different numbers from 55 to 69 direct kills throughout all the movies\TV series (not counting tie-in comics). Everyone killed directly and indirectly off-screen hard to estimate – from what we know, numbers can go up to millions.
Sum up: killed at least hundreds of innocents throughout the galaxy, killed or tried to kill members of his family (at least 10 Jedi + Luke), children murders, tortures, completed genocide, maintained a fascistic government.
Interestingly, everything Vader is accused of – true. I couldn’t find any instance where he was blamed, but in fact was innocent. Yes, originally he was trying to save Padme. But a) at what cost? b) save her for her or for his own feelings for her? [3] He was choosing being as he was for many years, he wasn’t mind-controlled or anything.
Also it’s interesting to count the time span of their villainy. Loki committed his crimes in short period of time, after that going into ‘antihero’ mode, helping Thor more than harming. Anakin, on the other hand, took the chance of stopping his villainous acts only once – in ROTJ. Loki – roughly 2 years of his 1053-years-long life. Anakin – 23 years of his 45 years long life.
So, after this investigation, I believe the winner is obvious.
Before anyone says anything about my personal preferences and biases: I like both of them, but also try to be objective – both of them have done bad things, although they’re both sympathetic. Of course, we can delve into Loki’s and Anakin’s mental traumas – but I deliberately didn’t dive into this, because I went into ‘crimes are still crimes’ mode, and giving full psychological portraits wasn’t the goal anyway.
But for me it’s weird that a ‘family-friendly’ company tries to ‘forgive and forget’ Darth freaking Vader and simultaneously blames Loki of all the things possible, even those he’s never done. In terms of crimes committed Anakin wins without questions, so – why?

So I got an internal hard drive for my sister’s old Xbox 360 Slim (she said I could have it to replace my original white 360 that has the broken disk tray) and I ended up having to change my Xbox/microsoft account password cause evidently 360’s password bars only allow you to put in a certain number of characters and my big long giant password couldn’t fit 😅 so I then had to go re-log back in for my laptop, and my Xbox One and Series X. But soon all my 360 games that are not backwards compatible (like War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron) will be able to be played again! I just gotta transfer the memory from my giant OG 360 hard drive first.

Theory: If There Were A Fifth Mysticon, The Knockoff Dragon Disk Would be the Key to Unlocking Her
While I don't think a fifth Mysticon was ever intended, I think that if there would be one, the knockoff Dragon Disk would be the key to unlocking the fifth Mysticon's power.
My theory is that, if someone wanted to stop a fifth Mysticon from being chosen, they would make sure that the Dragon Disk wouldn't recognize a fifth Mysticon, modifying the Dragon Disk to do so. The knockoff Dragon Disk, on the other hand, was made without the main Dragon Disk, so it may not have that modification.
One reason this is possible is because we only see the main Dragon Disk choose the Mysticons. The main Dragon Disk was the one in the first episode, and in the alternate timeline, they used the original Dragon Disk. In both cases, as it wouldn't recognize the possibility of a fifth Mysticon, it would assume the four are all of the Mysticons.
The second reason is that the disk may only activate when all Mysticons touch the disk. Both times the Mysticons got powers from the Dragon Disk, they all touched it. And despite the disk being seemingly activated in the treasury, it did not give Zarya powers when she touched it. Also, Piper held the Dragon Disk in the alternate timeline, but didn't get powers until they all touched it. And Piper was told that she had to be the hero she was meant to be, but didn't mention the others, so just by following the line, the others didn't have to be Mysticons. However, if all of the Mysticons would have to touch the disk, then that explains why it didn't activate when Piper touched it after wanting to be a hero.
Now, there are explanations for both of these scenarios that doesn't involve all four of them needing to touch it. Zarya was wearing gloves, and as Piper wished for all of them not to be Mysticons, maybe she had to undo it so all of them became Mysticons. Still, the Dragon Disk theory would explain both, so it's possible.
While I admit the evidence isn't hard proof, they at least suggest that it would be possible. If the series continued, and they wanted a fifth Mysticon, this may be one possible way to explain it.

Catra 🎞️🛌? :3c
🎞️: What ‘canon’ scenes would the fandom point to as evidence for the validity of your ship? - Well as the seasons progresses a couple of scenes pop up. First one being during the time adora become corrupted by the infected first one disk and attacks catra, my insert snarling out "I WONT LET YOU HURT HER AGAIN!". as i defend her, yelling at the corrupted adora about her "abandoning us" and how its tearing catra apart. Another one being a scene between my insert and shadow weaver where he confronts her in her cell after she tried to betray us. Shadow weaver going on and on about how catra ruined her life and stole everything for her and that she always knew she was more trouble than she was worth and always was a failure. My insert eventually screaming out as his magic explodes outward, him screaming at her that of course catra never tried to be better. nothing she ever did was good enough for her. that no matter how hard catra tried she always treated her like garbage and abused her. that even though catra hated her for how shadow weaver treated her as a kid deep down she just wanted to be loved and that maybe if shadow weaver hadnt been so short sighted and cruel she could have had an amazing warrior. Of course it backfires and she uses this to realize how she can escape and lies to catra and convinces her to give her the magic pendant that lets her escape, using my words and catras feelings against her. And of course the biggest one being the portal scene, that even in her corrupted frenzied state he stayed with her. my insert telling her he promised he would stay by her side all the way to the end, keeping his word as he holds her shaking crying form close. kneeling with her and holding her close saying what might have been "i love you" as they are both disintegrated by reality collapsing. This being the biggest sign that is evidence for the ship. Of course this being all before in the final season when it does become canon after we rescue her from prime. After he convinces shadow weaver to help him perform the spell of obtainment to gain the power to save her. 🛌: What tropes show up in fics involving your ship? - a few that immediately come to mind are ones like "childhood friend romance" , "friends to lovers", PLENTY of "angst", and GOD i cannot begin to imagine the amount of "hanahaki disease" fics (considering catra battles her feelings for my insert for multiple seasons and it actively tears her apart inside as well.

David Fuller: the ‘morgue monster’
David Fuller is a father-of-four who lived in a quiet cul-de-sac in Heathfield, East Sussex, working for most of his adult life as an electrician at hospitals serving the residents of Kent and Sussex.
Those close to him recoiled in horror when the true nature of his character was revealed - as Fuller was identified as a double murder who had spent years sexually abusing dead women and girls.
The family man, 67, with keen interests in birdwatching, cycling, and photography had been identfied as the prime suspect in the so-called “bedsit murders” when Wendy Knell, 25, and Caroline Pierce, 20, were both sexually assaulted and killed in separate attacks at their Tunbridge Wells homes in 1987.
Fresh analysis of DNA had picked out Fuller as the killer and a trawl of his home uncovered a terrifying collection of four million images on hard drives and floppy disks showing sexual offences.
Among the horrific catalogue of abuse was footage of Fuller himself interfering with bodies in the hospital morgue.
He has now admitted the double murder and the sexual abuse of dozens of victims, aged from just nine to 100-years-old, and he is almost certain to die behind bars.
There were possible signs of the horrors to come when Fuller was convicted in 1973 and 1977 for a series of ‘creeper’ home burglaries, involving break-ins through rear windows. He was spared a jail sentence at Portsmouth crown court.
Within the space of five months in 1987, he carried out the murders of Ms Knell and Ms Pierce in the streets of Tunbridge Wells that he knew well. Fuller had met Ms Knell at the SupaSnaps store in the town where she was the manager and he often took in his photographs to be developed.
Her body was discovered at her bedsit in Guildford Road on June 23, 1987, with tests revealing her naked body had been sexually assaulted after the attack and possibly once she was already dead.
On November 24, 1987, Ms Pierce was attacked by Fuller outside her bedsit in Grosvenor Park and the killer dumped her body around 40 miles away in a country lane ditch.
Fuller may have believed he got away with the murders as the years passed by but DNA evidence from the scene as well as a bloody fingerprint would eventually be his downfall, thanks to improving analysis technology and techniques.
SupaSnaps envelopes were found at his home, tying him to Ms Knell, and detectives found a diary entry showing he had visited the Buster Browns restaurant where Ms Pierce worked.
Fuller told a pack of lies to police but investigations revealed he had lived near to, or visited, the streets where both victims were killed. The discovery of the images and videos hidden at his home switched police attention to the now-closed Kent and Sussex Hospital where Fuller had worked from 1989 to 2010 and Tunbridge Wells Hospital where he was employed until his arrest.
Detectives discovered the killer had access to the morgues, using his swipe card to let himself in to abuse bodies after other staff members had left for the day.
He knew which parts of the morgue were covered by CCTV and carried out the abuse out of shot. But footage from his own collection, as well as detailed records of names and ages that he made, helped police to identify at least 80 people whose bodies have been interfered with.
Fuller eventually confessed to his sickening activities and admitted to police that he could not remember when it started or how many people he had abused. He insisted his motives were not sexual, but refused to discuss the abuse further.
A police hotline was set up to deal with hundreds of calls from the worried families of deceased people while the police investigation has widened once more to see if other historic violent and sexual crimes might be linked to Fuller.
He initially denied knowing either of the murdered women, then pushed the case to trial by claiming “diminished responsibility” for the killings. Ultimately, he pleaded guilty as the full details of his crimes were laid bare in court.
Police suspect Fuller may have abused hundreds of dead bodies during his life as a hospital electrician and maintenance worker.

The Sun Medallion
I finally found time to finish the first chapter of the sequel to The Quest for Santa Perla. Here it is:
“Why. Is. Being. An. Archeologist. So. Dang. Hard!” grunted Pix as he leapt from boulder to boulder to escape the approaching rhinos. “You’d think it be easy seeing all we do is dig.”
Sausage, who was right behind him, said, “Quite complaining, this is fun.”
Pix turned to glare at him and saw that the rhinos had stopped chasing them and had gone back to nibbling the grass. He stopped and bent over, with his hands on his knees, and tried to catch his breath.
“Dude, the amount of running we do, you should be in better shape,” said Sausage as he lightly punched Pix in the shoulder. “You still have it?”
Pix straightened up and rummaged through his bag before pulling out a small disk with the sky god’s emblem on it.
“Santa Perla!” he exclaimed. “It’s so shiny!”
“Really?” asked Pix as he straightened his glasses. “That’s what stands out to you? Not the history or life behind it?”
…
“Ah Pix,” said the museum director, examining the artifact. “Once again you don’t fail to impress.”
“Thank you, sir, “said Pix.
He turned to leave but stopped when the director said, “Pix, this came for you in the mail.”
He handed Pix a letter with the Dawn kingdom seal.
“A letter from Princess Gem?” asked Pix as he turned the letter over.
“Evidently yes.”
“Huh,” said Pix as he opened the letter, which read:
Dear Mr. Pix,
Please come at once to the Sunlight Castle as quickly as possible. I ask for you urgently. I also ask that you bring your associate, Mr. Sausage.
Yours truly,
Princess Gem
“What is it?” asked the director.
“She’s asking me to go to the castle and bring Sausage. I have to go,” said Pix as he left.
“Sausage, pack up. We have another quest,” said Pix as he threw Sausage’s bag at him.
“Oof,” he grunted as it hit his stomach. “What is it?”
“I don’t know, but it’s from the Princess of Dawn.”
“Must be a big deal.”
“What else would it be? Now pack.”
“Wow, would you look at this place?” said Pix as he slowly rotated, studying the kingdom.
It was filled with crops and orchards, and beehives dripping with golden honey. He could hear cows mooing in barns off a little ways. The church of the sun towered over everything, casting radiance around it. As he and Sausage approached the castle, a bear roared next to the door.
“Ack!” shouted Sausage as he leapt away.
Pix, though startled, merely straightened his glasses and continued forward.
“What kind of princess lives with a bear at the front door?” asked Sausage as he looked at it over his shoulder.
“This princess,” came a female voice up high somewhere.
Princess Gem of Dawn leapt down the stairs to meet them, her reddish brown hair bouncing, dress the color of a sunrise swishing against her brown boots.
Pix bowed deep and elbowed Sausage so he would get the hint and bow, too.
Princess Gem gave a small wave and said, “Come with me.”
Pix and Sausage looked at each other before following her into a large war room filled with maps and books.
“What do you ask of us, Your Highness?” asked Pix while trying to hide his excitement at how much knowledge was in the room.
“Please, no need for formal titles. Sit.” she said, gesturing to the chairs surrounding a table with a map of the seven kingdoms on it.
The men sat as Princess Gem pulled down an old tome with runes on its spine. She flipped through it before showing them a picture of a golden sun medallion.
“This is the Sun Medallion, It brings life and bountiful harvest to our land. It was recently stolen from the church by a dirty pirate called Pirate ‘Joe’ Joey. I need you to find it,” she said.
“Why us? Shouldn’t you be calling in the Sheriff of Tumble Town?” asked Pix as he studied the picture.
“He’s already on the case, but we believe the thief has taken it to his hideout in Animalia.”
“No way, the Hidden City of Animals? I thought it was a myth,” said Sausage disbelievingly.
“I believe you have spoken to a literal goddess. Why is this surprising?” asked the princess.
“She has a point,” said Pix. Looking up from the book, he asked, “You asked for us because we are needed to track down a hidden city long lost to time?”
The princess nodded. “Precisely. I’ve recruited two helpers for this mission, a body guard and mechanic/explosives expert. I just need an explorer and an archeologist. You two up for it?”
Pix and Sausage looked at each other before Pix extended his hand to shake. “We’ll do it.”
Princess Gem looked relieved. “Thank you. Allow me to introduce your companions.”
She waved a hand and a pair of chocolate brown doors opened and in came two women. The first was a tall dark haired woman dressed in black armor with a large axe on her back.
“Name’s Katherine,” she said with a hint of excitement in her voice.
“You’re not Princess Katherine from Glimmer Grove, are you?” asked Sausage.
Her eyes widened slightly as she said, “Nope, not at all! Definitely not a princess.”
Pix, Sausage, and Gem all looked at each other and shrugged.
The other woman was considerably shorter than her counterpart and had fair hair with copper goggles on her forehead. She seemed a bit paranoid and jumpy, with a golden pocket watch in her pants ticking quite loud.
“This is False of Cogsmeade,” said Gem.
False gave a hesitant wave and continued looking around.
“Hi, I’m Pix,” said Pix. “This man here is my helper, Sausage.”
“Nice to meet you,” said Katherine with a small bow. False just nodded her head in acknowledgement.
“Great, now everyone knows everyone.” said Princess Gem with a small clap. “I’m currently gathering supplies, whatever you may need for your trip. You leave in the morning.”
Quick notes:
I know personalities are drastically different than from the prequel or the smp
I know False doesn't trade gunpowder, but I thought it fit her character
