A valiant ice-element Blade who fights with power and pride alongside the Flamebringer, and a Gormotti girl raised with the Garfont Mercenaries whose unique ability turned out to be the key to her revival. Together, they work to reach Elysium in hopes of discovering the truths of their pasts.

As this post demonstrates, Perun's character tag is "love: ardent lancer (perun)", while Sapphire's tag is "self-insert: gem of garfont (sapphire)". The tag for the selfship as a whole is "selfship: love trust and diamond dust (perun/sapphire)"!

In the story of this selfship, Perun's Core Crystal is found by the party while they are travelling through the Leftherian Archipelago. Due to it being fractured, she ordinarily would not have been able to be awakened again - but Sapphire's ability to crystallise atmospheric ether means she is able to repair the Core Crystal and allow Perun to be reawakened. In this case, it is Morag who resonates with her, so she becomes her Driver - but she also takes an interest in Sapphire and her unique ability, so the two end up interacting a lot and getting to know each other very well indeed as they make progress through the world.

This selfship takes place in a different version of events to my selfship with Pyra, which means Sapphire is not paired with both characters at once.

Despite how long I've been selfshipping with Perun for, I unfortunately don't have a ton of lore or story in place for this selfship yet. Perun is an ice-element Rare Blade who wields a Megalance as her weapon, and is one of the Blades awakened by Mòrag Ladair, Special Inquisitor of the Empire of Mor Ardain. Sapphire Paronet (or at least, that's how she refers to herself) is an energetic and confident young woman - Gormotti by race, but raised as the adopted daughter of Vandham, leader of Uraya's Garfont Mercenaries.

Sapphire joins Rex and the rest of the party when they wash up in the Urayan Titan, and she first meets Perun after Mòrag resonates with her Core Crystal, found in Leftheria. The two find themselves becoming close as Sapphire gets to know Mòrag better, admiring Perun's strong sense of justice and willingness to defend her friends.

Despite Sapphire not being Perun's Driver, the two of them still share quite a unique connection because Sapphire has the ability to repair Core Crystals that have been cracked or fragmented. Perun’s Core Crystal had been fractured when the party first came across it, leaving it unable to be bonded with, but Sapphire was able to repair it so that Perun could be awakened again.

This selfship takes place in an alternate version of events to my selfship with Pyra.

Give me a 🌙 in my inbox and I’ll give you a random headcanon about my selfship, F/O, or self-insert. - Alright, here we go!

For my selfship with Pyra.. one of the places that means a lot to us is the Dragon's Whiskers, one of the secret areas in the Urayan Titan. After Pyra asserted that - despite being a fire-element Blade - she wasn't adversely affected by water, Sapphire took her down through the lake in the Cataracts of Rujah, and the two ended up in this secret outlook that Sapphire herself named and discovered. Pyra was amazed by the view from that place, because there are glowing Saffronia trees everywhere, and you can see across the entire Urayan Titan to Fonsa Myma.

For my selfship with Perun.. Sapphire isn't necessarily reckless, but she can be very chaotic and try to do things mostly for the fun of it, even if she generally will back out if it becomes too risky. Perun, on the other hand, is much more careful and more of a strategist, taking after her Driver (who is not Sapphire, since she lacks aptitude, but instead Mòrag). I like to think this makes us a good pair, since Sapphire can help Perun get less caught up in pushing herself too far whereas Perun can help Sapphire act less instinctively, for example so she doesn't try and throw Zeke off a bridge (again).

For my selfship with Lora.. it takes us ages to confess our love to each other, though it does happen eventually at some point on the journey, because Lora doesn't know how best to go about confessing whereas Aline is too worried about whether Lora likes her back or not. This inability to make things official, in tandem with our feelings for each other being extremely obvious to everyone else in the party except ourselves, leads to exactly as many exasperated awkward pining moments as you might expect. Something, something, disaster sapphics (when it comes to romance, anyway)

And for my selfship with Vanea.. since both of us are up in Agniratha (albeit Mera makes trips up and down occasionally while Vanea is working), but it had to be abandoned so quickly when the Telethia attacked, I imagine a lot of the Machina who used to live there would have left things behind. So, one of the things Mera does is go into Agniratha to try and salvage and archive some of the things that the other Machina had to leave, and bring them back to their original owners in the Hidden Machina Village, before then making her way back up the Mechonis to reassure Vanea that the other Machina are okay, and to bring her something as a souvenir of sorts. For example, Ice Kiwi Fruit from the Fallen Arm, since they are said to clear the head which Vanea would need after working on Face Nemesis for as long as she does.

•Artoria loves you she really does but by God do you leave her exasperated

•She tries her best to keep an eye on you so you stay outta trouble

•Thing is you kinda have a habit of wandering off mysteriously

•Like seriously you'll be in view one moment and the next you're just gone without a trace

•Shed be more mad at you if you didn't look so adorable anytime she tries to scold you

•It doesn't help that whenever she finds you after you've disappeared you always have a gift for her

•That or you've gone and found some hidden gem of a restaurant and then all bets are off

•Artoria also has to deal with how hungry you are for her affection

•You just love spending time with her whether it's going on a date or it's training with her you just want to be near her

•This always leaves her blushing since she's so unused to PDA or even private displays of affection

•She wouldn't dare discourage your touch though, since while she'd never admit it she loves how clingy you are towards her

•The one thing she's able to be strict with is training you

•Afterall it's very important to her that you're able to fight and defend yourself

• Especially since as a mage you were very unorthodox in that you focused on close range combat

•She got to find this out the hard way when instead of staying back and backing her up with magecraft when confronting a servant you jumped into the fray and started battling them yourself

•She learned two things that day, one you absolutely loved fighting and two you're apparently skilled enough in your magecraft to battle a servant

•She wished you told her this sooner and so did you after the fierce lecture she gave after the battle was done

•Anyway as you can see the two of you make for a very interesting couple that leaves most people clueless on how you two got together

There's a perfectly cut hole in the roof Ganke, this was a pro” a voice cuts him off.

“Thank you for the compliment spidy” Miles turns and is met with Cat, or Y/N L/N.

“Ganke, Imma call you back” Miles turned off his intercom as he walked towards.”Wai-” but Ganke could only stare at the red mike.

Miles directed his attention to y/n who had secured her jewellery pouch to her waist.

“Y/N?” he came closer till there was only a foot between them. “What are you doing here mami”

“They had a specific thing i was looking for, i decided to drop in and grab it before someone else did” y/n was a variant of catwoman. She pouted her lips as she glanced at another gem on display.

“Come one papi, can i go” Miles’ heart fluttered in his chest as y/n said papi.

“I gotta turn you in Miami” y/n’s shoulders slumped before popping back up.

“That’s sad, Spidy, but you’re gonna have to catch me first” and with that y/n had somehow reached the ceiling through the perfect hole.

“Game on Kitty” Miles whispered under his breath before going after her.

On fifth avenue, y/n had perched on the lancer building which was the tallest on the block. Y/n turned to check if Miles was behind her.

“Where is he?” She looked over the building. “Did he stop?” she felt a warm breath on her cheek.

“Of course not, if you ask me to follow you I’d do it in a heartbeat” y/n blushed but she didn’t turn to face him, she didn’t respond. Miles chuckled and flipped her, earning a shriek. “And for a second i thought cat got your tongue, careful now don’t want to wake the neighbours”

“Let's go” y/n said, a small frown on her face. She was gonna have to break out of prison, fortunately her afro (which was surprisingly well hidden in her mask) held lock picking tools and with a little luck she could bullshit the cops that they’d be racist if they told her to cut it down. She’d be out in no time.

“Go where?” Miles asked bewildered.

“The Police Station?”Y/n didn’t know if he was joking or if he swung his brain cells as he chased after her. “Obviously”

“Mami i’m not taking you” Y/n finally looked the boy in his eyes, those sweet eyes that held her attention longer than they should have. “I don’t plan on taking you in unless you want to turn yourself in,”

“But the jew-” Y/N patted her side and couldn’t feel the pouch. “Huh?”

Miles just chuckled at her. “I was a little late for a reason” She was supposed to be mad at him but he laughed.

“Miles,”

“Yeah Mami”

“Can you take me home”

“I was just about to,” He wraps his arm around her waist and she feels her heart race. Even with the suit on she could still feel the tingles on her skin. She puts her head on his chest and feels his heart, it’s almost as wild as hers.

Could he feel the same way

It’s probably because he’s swinging, yeah. Right?

They landed on the fire escape of her apartment building. She removes herself from him and goes over to her window.

“Try not to steal anything on your way to bed” Miles jokes and she can’t help but smile at him. She never can. He always makes her smile. No matter the situation.

“Miles…”

“Yeah Mami”

“Can you stay?” she mentally curses herself. “I’d appreciate the company”

“Awww, you’d miss me huh” Miles smirks, “I’ll be right back mami,” Miles falls off the building and swings off.

He’s not coming back

Y/n changes into her pjs which are just a pair of shorts which barely covers her ass and a cute tank top. She turns off the lights in the other room but when she enters her bedroom she sees Miles in different clothes, a shirt and shorts.

“Damn” he whistles. “You are beautiful” Y/n blushes. She never really got compliments a lot because of her size. Miles came closer, “What? No one’s ever told you, that’s you are beautiful,” Miles glances out the window rubbing the back of neck. “You probably weren't listening"

“I-i can change” I point at my closet.

Miles looks back at y/n. “No no don’t I like it, you’re comfortable in it and honestly I like the view” y/n’s heart was racing. Breathe.

Y/n sat on the bed as Miles sat on the sil of the window.

“Don’t tell me you’re sleeping there” Miles furrowed his brow.

“Of course not,” he gestures to a sleeping bag on the floor.

“Come one Miles”

Miles shakes his head. “I’m a guest in your house, the bed goes to you and the sil is a little to thin for sleeping and you wanted company not a roommate so obviously not the couch-”

“Miles”

“Yeah Mami”

“Shut up and bring your black ass up on this bed”

“Mam-”

“Now”

Miles popped onto the bed right beside you, you turned away from him and snuggled into him, spooning him. He held you and then you fell asleep. Although you faintly heard him say something with a beautiful attached to it.

~Miles often did this that you soon stopped asking, he’d spend most of his nights with you and your feelings for him only grew. It was three months after the jewellery heist went wrong. Miles found out about the fake sack of jewels she had on her that day, all she could do was laugh. It was on the morning after~

“I nearly gave a sack of rocks to the commissioner, aka my father…” y/n was bawling her eyes out. “If i hadn’t dropped it accidentally on my way there… you y/n are extraordinary. Where are the actual jewels?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know” y/n wiped a tear from her eye. “Don’t worry I gave some of them back, but that was because of my affection for you.” Y/n uncrossed her legs as she stretched them out on the bed, she fell back on the bed before propping herself on her elbows.

“Affection?”

“Mhmm,”

Y/n noticed that Miles wasn’t himself today though, he seemed distant. Right now he was sitting on her spinny chair. Doing something she never thought she’d ever do. She goes over to him and straddles him. Immediately he snaps out of his funk, “Y/n what are you doing?” Miles tried to sound calm but his heart was racing.

“Miles, something’s up with you, your being weirder than usual”

“What do you mean, nothi-”

“Don’t lie to me boy, I can read you like a book and something’s up” Miles sighs and stays silent for a second.

“Y/n” he whispers. He looks you up and down as though framing this image of you in his head for all eternity.

“Miles”

“I like you”

“What of course you do, how else would you be able to stand m-?”

“No Y/n, I like you as in I want to hold you, but not like i always do, i want to hold you like a lover, I want to kiss your soft lips every single minute of the goddamned day. I want to wake up everyday knowing that one day, I can go down on my knees and ask you to marry me. I like you in a way that if I’m not careful around you I might tell you I love you instead, I like you way more than a friend. But,”

But what?

“But I have no clue if you feel the same way or if you just want us to be more than friends, just friends,” he shakes his head. “You do shit like this that makes we want to say fuck it and kiss you and hold you till sunrise, then take you out”

“You-” you don’t let him finish, you kiss him hard. You run your hands through his hair as you kiss him with all of you. You kiss him like he’s the oxygen you need to survive. You look him in his eyes, “Oh Miles, i love you too, I love you so much it scares me” He’s shocked at first but then he palms your cheek and deepens the kiss, he moves from your lips down to your neck probably leaving multiple hickeys.

NSFW COMES IN HERE His hands reach under your shirt and start pinching and squeezing your nipples sending electric shocks down your spine. He felt so goddamn good against me "Miles…" you moan. Miles moves down to your neck and collar bone. "Mami, we don't want your mom Investigating now do we," he rolls his hips grinding back. "Miles…please," Miles chuckles. "You'll have to be more specific," "I- fuck, I want you," "How?" "Headfirst between my thighs" Miles chuckles.. “Whatever you say,” NSFW ENDS HERE

After that day, Miles and you started dating. Ganke still holds you for the robbery heist. Miles takes you dates everywhere. You also took him on a date, mostly when he wasn't expecting it. It was adorable, one time you bought him ice cream for your ice- cream date and you flirted with him the entire time. It was only when you were three blocks away did he notice. By then your ice creams were nearly out.

“Shit we forgot to pay” Miles starts to turn when you stop him in his tracks.

“Calm down Miles I paid” Miles turns to look at you surprised, “It’s my treat today” I continue.

“Mami” he rolls his head back and whines.

“Yeah Papi” Miles’ head snaps right back and he looks away blushing. He always blushes when you call him papi.

“I’m supposed to be paying, not you.'' I chuckle.

“We both pay, I’m not gonna have you buying everything nu uh, I make my own money although at a restaurant we will either split the bill or play rock paper scissors” Papi- Miles sighs and gives up.

He pecks my forehead and leans in. “I guess I don’t have much of a choice huh” He jokes. “I got an independent woman on my hands”

I chuckle, “Yeah you do”

You chuckle at the memory, he still blushes when you call him papi. Two strong arms wrap around your waist. A peck is placed at the back of your neck.

“Miles”

“Y/N”

“You almost scared you know” I turned to face him and put my hands on his chest. “A little more practice should do you good”

“Quiet as a cat” he whispers a smile on his face

Fun fact, magic affects flying speed! With Stella the fairy of Sun and Moon Light being the fastest flier out of all the girlies in show, but she often doesn't fly that fast in fear of crashing leading to Musa the fairy of Harmonious Sounds to be the fastest in practical application, and Diaspro the fairy of Gemstones being the slowest

Gem Creation (🛡️) - The caster can create different types of gems, it's hardness determining how easy or hard it is to make gems

Shield of Gems (🛡️) - A small gem based circular shield

Amber Encasement (🛡️💫) - The caster creates liquid like sap that wraps around a target, hardening and encasing them in amber

Phosphorescent Stones (💫🛡️) - The caster creates a gem that can naturally absorb light and later emit the light later

Gem Reflection (🛡️💫) - The caster creates a large gem facet looming shield that reflects attacks

Photonic Bands (🛡️⚔️) - The caster creates a gemstone capable of channeling sun light, and can use it to make colorful beams of light

Birefringence Light Beam (⚔️🛡️) - The caster creates a gem that channels sun light and shoots out two light beams

Tourmaline Magnet (💫🛡️) - The caster creates a tourmaline and can use it to make a weak magnetic pull

Quartz Shock (⚔️🛡️) - The caster creates quartzes and then compresses it, creating electricity

Coral Grabber (💫🛡️) - The castor creates coral gems in the shape of coral animals that grab targets before hardening

Barrier of Diamond (🛡️) - A extremely powerful barrier that's hard as diamond

Diamond Sword and Shield (🛡️) - Creates a sword and shield out of diamond

Crystalization Barrier (🛡️) - The caster shoots out gemstones that immediately grow and encase the target upon hitting it

Absorption Shield (💫🛡️⚔️) - The caster creates a large jagged shield that is able to absorb certain types of magic thrown at it if it's the correct type of gem

Crystal Oscillator (💫) - The caster creates a quartz that interferes with radio waves

Power of Gems (💫🛡️⚔️) - Creates types of gemstones that are naturally able to absorb power from the nearby environment, much like a Witch's channeling spell. Once the Gemstone absorbs power from the environment it can be used for attacking, defending, and supporting

↳ Absorption Necklace (💫🛡️⚔️) - Essentially the same thing but the caster disguises it as a ordinary necklace

Crystal Cave (🛡️) - The caster creates a huge amount of gemstones, trapping targets inside a enclosure

I wanted to come up with a spell based on the Chinese Writing Stone but I couldn't come up with one. It would act as a messager stone table obviously but I'm unsure of the mechanics ://

Btw look up this stuff, quartz and amber can generate electricity, quartz are used in the construction of radios, it's so cool! Gems can do so much stuff!!!

I'm not sure if anyone has discussed this, (or whether this discussion feels proper enough to put in an ask box) but during the acid boat ride scene, if you choose the "…" option, you can see Ralsei excitedly say that it's just like Kris to be quiet and laughs.

Most people think that this means that Ralsei is acknowledging Kris as the quiet kid. But interestingly, the Japanese translation adds emphasis to this dialogue, with Ralsei noting that Kris not only becomes quiet, but specifically "clams up" at "times like this." The wording comes out like he's reminiscing some kind of past event with Kris. (I always thought that his reaction is a bit strange if Kris is always quiet all the time)

＊こ…こういうときに黙り込むのってすごくクリスらしいよね。 (TL: It’s very Kris-like to fall silent at times like this, isn’t it?)

I'm not sure what to make of this knowledge, but this scene reinforces the idea that Ralsei seem to know a good chunk of Kris's past memories. These could be Kris's own memories, or perhaps even someone else's memories of Kris. After all, a phrase like 'It's so like you!' feels more natural coming from other person's perspective. Asriel is a strong candidate, but the entire boat ride scene has a subtle romantic undertone that would make an Asriel connection feel a bit…awkward? So Idk, haha…

Okay, so. I ADORE this interaction, because you select it expecting a negative or disappointed response from Ralsei, and instead he effortlessly turns it around with the gem of a line "I guess I like you-like things". Absolutely destroyed me, let me tell you - to the point that it inspired me to write my very first fic for the Deltarune fandom, creatively titled "You-Like" :p

That said, I did NOT know about the Japanese translation, so this is a really interesting new angle to consider! Of course, the sense of familiarity Ralsei seems to have with Kris is there in the english text, but the addition of "times like this" in the translation definitely implies a much deeper familiarity than you might expect for someone who you only met yesterday! And the idea that a lightner's memories might have been implanted into him is also fascinating to consider! As you say, Asriel is a strong contender, but also as you say, the romantic undertone of the scene does kinda raise a question or two about that...

(also, subtle?! That entire sequence is about as subtle as Lancer is! XD) Whatever the explanation, it definitely does strengthen the argument that Ralsei has in some way been associated with Kris pre-canon. Exactly how that turns out to be, and how it might inform their dynamic going forward, is something I look forward to with great interest. Thank you very much for the cool info! :D

if anyone is wondering, Pink-Pearl is suppose to still look like her original gem humanoid but she is also suppose to be a Moth, and well if Lonely-Pearl was a Moth in her corrupted form, it would make sense that Pearls in a Crossover between Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel and Steven Universe, they would be Moths but still look a bit how they originally looked.

I want to call Pink-Pearl by the nickname "Vollie" but it's okay not everyone calls her that, and it would be interesting in a Crossover Fanon Timeline she forms a friendship with Verosika.

and yes I gave that Soundwave a bow on their head, it is suppose to be one of those Sound-Wave copies of the Original Sounwave.

I have had the idea for a while, that Lancer mistakes Mammon as his Dad, just in a different outfit...

I worked on this drawing around January and I'm just now posting it on February...it was not great a few days ago, I know during my trying to write a theory that has to do with Sari that of course has to do with a Crossover with Hazbin Hotel and TFA...

the connection kept going on and off, and yeah I ended up noticing a bit too late that I forgot to put the word "just" and well it is called "Hazformers Theory: What Sari Could Be Doing With Her Autobot Friends MIA" but even when I was trying to write it, the connection kept going off on me, and it was only making me more mad and feeling not so happy...so even when I got lucky and was finally able to post it, but when I wanted to log back on to fix and edit what I notice I forgot to put down on it...and yeah I had finally got around to it today...

but I was having some trouble logging back on, which I think it was because of the connection going off and on me again, and it might of possibly messed up my password, cause when I did try to use it again today......it didn't turn out too well, I still couldn't get on and at some point I had to make a new password just so I could post not only some new fan theories, but also this drawing and that

I seriously wasn't having a good day, I couldn't really get to sleep and well I do feel a little tired right now, it doesn't help that what happen was I guess a bit stressful...

and anyway Peridot is being Feral and is suppose to have Doe Ears and a Tail, like Peridots end up with Deer like appearance.

Alastor ending up adopting her and having her on that very thing that we see her have on her in one of the episodes of Steven Universe, well it can be one of the ways to keep her from running off when she gets all feral...like it only comes off if she calms down and doesn't act all feral.

and even when you make the drawing big, to read what is being said...

"when did I become a Dad…? I don't remember having a kid…unless Stella has been keeping it a secret from me. oh man, do I need to marry Stella?! I'm NOT ready yet!!! I need to call Stella and tell her to pick up our little acciden-…cough I mean Son."

also in this drawing, Buttercup Utonium is 22 years old, so this is the much older future self of Buttercup.

I think I will post one more thing, than I will be heading to bed to get some sleep...I rather post it now than wait until either tomorrow or in a few days...plus if I'm able to, I may talk more about that Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss Theory that has to do with Soul-Partnership Contract...

anyway hope some find it funny that Lancer thinks that Mammon is his Dad, and making Mammon very confused...also I like the Mamtella ship between Mammon and Stella.....their ship name still sounds like a type of food you put on toast, and I don't know if many will end up using that Mamtella ship name or not, so far I'm the first to call those two by that ship name. XD

Reality Trip rewrite, but Wes Weston finally exposes Danny which leads to the manhunt for Danny.

Freakshow fight in the stadium happens, but Danny, whose rings only appear rather than fully outing him, gets tazed by Wes at the exact wrong moment ("he's weak to electricity, so if I taze him at the right moment, the truth will finally be out."). When the students rush the stage after Wes' victorious shout and the GIW arrive, intent on arresting Danny, Lancer sprints onto the stage, grabs Danny and then leaps into the crowd, followed by Sam and Tucker.

The GIW arrest Wes for not telling them about, "the Ecto-entity known as Phantom," sooner. Wes happily tells them everything about Danny, certain that they'll see Danny is doing the right thing, but is instead charged with obstruction of justice, interfering with a Federal investigation, and thrown in a holding cell until they can catch Danny.

Freakshow, having escaped dramatically, watches the reveal with glee, and happily captures the parents of the trio for ransom. His TV broadcast features the execution via overshadowing (suicide) of Mr Manson, Foley, and Dr. Jack Fenton. "If you want to see your mothers alive, you'll bring me my gems; and just to keep things dramatic. You have three days."

Sam and Tucker didn't make it off the Fenton Jet, leaving Danny striving for the gems and the gauntlet all by himself.

Wes gets to watch every detail of the hunt for Phantom from the inside of his GIW cell, they've courteously provided him with a TV, with only the 24hr news stations, and a look into their operation to catch Phantom. Just in case he wants to join them some day...after they jailed him and charged him with obstruction. To his horror, everything is going wrong: Mr. Lancer was arrested for harboring a fugitive, the students of Casper High are all incarcerated pending, "cleansing," of ectoplasmic contamination, Amity Park is under quarantine and martial law, and it's all Wes' fault.

Danny doesn't wait for Freakshow to speak before attacking him; he has one chance to fix everything and that's with the Reality Gauntlet. Lydia, for all her animated tattoos, fell to his ghostly wail, powered by grief.

When Wes heard Danny's grieving wail, he cried--he was only fourteen, it happened--because that was all Wes' fault. He thought exposing Danny would make everything better, the truth never hurt anybody...anybody except everybody in Wes' life.

Danny didn't trick Freakshow into turning himself into a ghost, Danny drove his fist through Freakshow's heart and tore his head off. "Don't mess with my family," and then Danny cried. His tears shook from his face as he began to vibrate with anger. Danny tore the glove from Freakshow's dead arm and shoved his own arm into the bloodied gauntlet, then he opened the thermos at his hip and carefully slotted each stone into its rightful slot, "Wes."

Wes disappeared from the holding cell to the screaming of the alarms and appeared in a field halfway across the country in front of Danny.

"You- you- you...YOU!" Danny fumed

Tears silently ran down Wes' face, "Me. I'm so-"

"Don't! Do you- they're all-" The temperature plummeted and Danny's hair began to whip violently, "THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED!"

Wes's puffy eyes narrowed as he screamed, "NO!" His voice cracked, "It's not..." Wes sobbed, "I- I- I..."

Danny fell to his knees, the temperature rose, and his white hair calmed as though violent winds had faded to a gentle breeze. Wes and Danny knelt in the grass, grieving for the people they lost.

Wes' eyes widened and his head snapped to look at Danny, "You can fix this. You can fix everything."

Danny snorted, sending green snot from his nose, "Not that kind of ghost."

Wes rolled his eyes, "You have the Reality Gauntlet."

"Oh. Right," Danny focused on the power latched onto his arm, "I want everything to go back to how it wa-"

"I want- need to remember."

"But I want only Wes, Sam, Tucker, and myself to remember what happened," the gems of the gauntlet glowed, and the world changed.

Not a full thought, but I figured I'd show a little of it. Anyways, just was thinking about that and realized Reality Trip, with a few minor changes, can be a good way to get Wes to both succeed and realize he's in the wrong.

FINALLY!

I’ve finally finished this set of character designs! Ok so this is a magical girl story idea I had after I made my OC for @actuallyrea ‘s Prism series, I reworked my OC into a member of a group with lore and villains and everything. Mavis got the dragon medallion and was deemed the leader by fate, much to the chagrin of Tiffany. She desperately wants her life to be more interesting, to have a higher purpose, and the fact that she’s not the main character of this story is infuriating to her. In the five man band structure, Mavis is the leader, Tiffany’s the lancer, Evie is the heart, Nina is the big guy, and Kiki is the smart guy. If you’ve seen Overly Sarcastic Productions’ Trope Talk on the subject, you’ll understand. These girls have connections to mythical creatures as well as elemental forces. The dragon is all things under the earth, gems and heavy metals, heat and the motion of tectonic plates. The unicorn is light and all things soft and gentle, the energy that gives life. The sea serpent is the darkest and most mysterious parts of the sea, cold and quiet, peaceful yet ominous. The chimera is blazing heat and brute strength, chaos and unbeatable willpower. The gremlin is mischief and motors, gears in the wrong place, wires that cause explosions. They all have their specialties and they were all chosen by their particular medallions because their personalities mesh well with the elements of the medallions.

send me a “⭐️” and i’ll use a random thing picker to choose one of my F/Os, and i’ll reply to the ask with a small infodump about my selfship with them! - Alright, so, for this one I got Perun! I was hoping it'd be someone from something that I know you know, but the wheel decided to continue the XC2 theme, it seems.

Perun is one of the Rare Blades that you can obtain by chance from awakening Core Crystals in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. She's an ice-element Blade who wields a Megalance, and.. she's generally not thought of as being very powerful by comparison to many other characters. (This does not stop me using her a lot, however.) In terms of her personality, Perun is very valiant and determined to do what is right, even if she ends up pushing herself beyond her limits at times because of that determination. The self-insert that I use to selfship with Perun is my main XC2 self-insert, Sapphire! This is the same self-insert that I use to selfship with Pyra, but I selfship with both of the characters in different versions of events, rather than simultaneously (though am still friendly with the other in both!)

In the story of my selfship, Sapphire meets Perun during the early part of Chapter 5, as her Core Crystal is found broken in the Leftherian Archipelago by the party. The fact that her crystal was broken would normally have meant that she could never be awakened; however, Sapphire has the power to crystallise small amounts of atmospheric ether in order to fix damage done to Core Crystals, which allows them to be resonated with again (and thus, the Blade within them to be reawakened). Since Sapphire herself lacks the aptitude required to become a Driver by resonating with a Blade's Core Crystal, it was instead Mòrag who became Perun's Driver in my version of events; the two are very well-suited to each other in both a personality way and a gameplay way, so they quickly became close, but Perun also wanted to get to know Sapphire well too, since it’s only thanks to the power she has that she could have been reawakened. So, we end up talking a lot as time passes, and.. I will admit that the exact details aren’t really very well-established, but we do end up eventually falling in love with each other! ^-^

I hope that all that was okay as an infodump! I really want to play XC2 again now, haha - I’d actually probably say that Perun is the character I’ve played as/alongside the most out of all my XC2 F/Os, since I normally tend to play as Mòrag and I awakened Perun with her on my first playthrough. Thank you very much again for sending this to me - it really means a lot that you took the time to do so!!~
