Devlog 10!
10th Devlog Post, hurray!
10 is a pretty good start, but I'll probably have around 60+ more of these before I have a completed game, so stay tuned!
This was a rougher week for game development. I spent a lot of time working on the Yokai Hunter's attacking sprites but just couldn't get anything that I liked. This was the most that I got on a single sprite sheet:
Something about all the little details he has, like his armor, mask, and dual swords makes animating it all pretty tricky. I'll probably spend next week practicing sprite animation on some older sprites.
Speaking of which, that's exactly what I did today! I thought that I would go and give some new life to some of my older game work, and I say it was worth it! The Human Guard sprite got a new idle animation with a new attack animation in progress:
Who would have thought that so much of my game dev time would be working on sprites? Last thing I have to show you all is a sketchbook page that I used to plan out the attacks of the Yokai Hunter. Feel free to give it a look over and/or ask questions!
Hope you all have a great week, and Happy Holidays! <3

something I haven't seen people mention about The Hunger Games trilogy and movies is how it genuinely revolutionized the Minecraft server scene

i genuinely love that the hunger games is in katniss’s pov bc shes the one character that has no clue about whats going on, clearly does not want to be there, and shes just walking through life in a permanent state of utter confusion. and idk i really relate to that.

yall like to pretend that "don't split up" is the most obvious rule in any horror scenario, but what's the alternative? stick together and cooperate ? to find a solution? in a life-or-death situation??? babe surely you have been in enough group projects to guess how that shit ends
