Your leg bounced up and down, the almost inaudible sound of the heel of your shoes hitting the wooden floor annoying the girl sitting next to you on the bed, the movements of your legs and the way you chewed on your bottom lip enough to get her annoyed.
Closing the book, Wednesday turned to you, eyes alternating between the irritating move and your features.
“Can you stop with that infuriating sound? It’s distracting me.”
“Uh?” You look at Wednesday, eyes darting from yours to your bouncing leg in a silent answer. “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t even notice it.”
“Now that you do, stop it.”
“I can’t control it.”
Wednesday took a deep breath, bringing her hand to rest on top of your knee, forcing you to stop. Somehow, your leg was still shaking under her touch and now, a heatwave spread inside your body at the sudden touch, a bright red color threatening to take over your vision, a sharp pain in your gums.
You closed your eyes, taking deep breaths and trying to take control over your instincts. But Addams being so close to you with her almost unnoticeable perfume and hand on your thigh, it was hard and any small thing coming from her was enough to get you to lose control.
“You’re starving, aren’t you?” All you could do was nod, not wanting her to see the sharp fangs that sunk on the inside of your mouth. Removing her hand from your leg, you felt a weight being placed on top of your body instead. “Open your eyes, let me take a look at them.”
“No,” you whispered, shaking your head.
“I wasn’t asking. Open them now and look at me.”
Despise the calming way she spoke, her words and demanding tone were enough to get you to do as you were told, unable to resist the smell she had; It was like a spell placed on you.
Wednesday brought her hands to your face, opening your lips to see the sharp fangs you were hiding, pressing the tip of a finger under one, a single drop of raven blood poking out of the small wound was enough to cover your lower lip with her movement.
“Wends…” You warned with a hoarse voice, controlling the impulse to lick the sweet blood off of your lip.
The dark, silky sheets under your hands ripping off around your nails, stopping you from digging the skin of her waist. Knowing Wednesday, she would definitely make you pay for a new set.
Ignoring the warning timbre in your voice, Wednesday opened her white blouse, dragging the fabric away from her shoulder area along with the strip of her bra.
“Take it.”
“No.”
“If you want to keep that snarky tongue of yours, I suggest you to stop fighting and just do as I am telling you to.”
The second you focused on the cold, pale skin, of her neck, everything around you turned red, melting as you caught the sound of her blood flowing through her body, the steady pace of her heartbeat, muffling every small sound that surrounded the both of you.
All you could hear, see and smell, came from the small girl sitting on your lap. And that was all that matters.
The red, warm, sweet blood that kept her alive. The blood of a Raven, Wednesday being the last one of her bloodline known to you.
Noticing the lack of motion coming from your frozen body, the Addams girl gently tugged you by the back of your head, bringing you closer to her.
“Take it.” She whispered; fingers lost in your hair. “It’s all yours.”
“All mine…” You replied, lost in your red reality, barely processing what left her lips, all you could hear, loud and clear, was the pumping of her jugular, the sweet blood rushing through her veins.
Leaning in, your nose brushed on the cold skin, taking a deep breath. The ghostly touch causing the other to close her eyes. You opened your mouth, enough for the tip of your tongue to touch her, a surprised sigh coming from Wednesday.
“I profoundly hate when you do that.”
“Are you sure? Because I can hear every beat of your heart.” You placed a kissed near her collarbones. “And the way your thighs are pressing against mine.” Another kiss, a little bit higher.
“Stop talking. It’s an order.”
You laughed against her, hands slowly moving from the silky sheets to her thighs. “You’re in no place to boss me around, Addams.”
“I thought you enjoyed being my little pet.”
“I enjoy more when you’re my prey.”
Looking into your eyes, Wednesday could barely see the color of it, dark red mixed with golden strings covering most of your iris, pupils dilated in a black color. The veins under your eyes, disappearing and appearing as if it was following the beat of a music, little did she know it was synchronized with her own heartbeat.
It always felt like that, to be under her spell, if felt paralyzing, something in the way Wednesday smelled and tasted like, so sweet it was like drinking honey.
For her, having your teeth sinking in her neck, poison spreading through your saliva turning the pain into pleasure in just a few seconds. She would never admit, but being your personal blood bag made the pain settle in between her thighs.
She needed you as much as you needed her.
Why else would she sit on your lap and keep you around? Allowing you to follow every single step of hers like a lost puppy, holding you on a tight leash, stopping you from biting others like a misbehaved puppy.
Gulping, she licked her lips, your eyes following every single movement of her body. She felt like an addicted waiting for the next jet of poison, it’s been days since the last time you fed on her.
“Did you drink from somebody else?” You shook your head. You tried to, actually, blood bags, human blood straight from the vein, animal blood that you captured with Eugene’s help; they all tasted like garbage. “Then why are you refusing to do as I tell you to?”
“Because I don’t want to hurt you.”
A small grin tugged on her lips. “I want you to hurt me.”
A gush of adrenaline ran in the veins under your eyes the second you heard her whisper, eyes filled with a specific glow that you almost never see in Wednesday: excitement.
The moment your fangs dug in the cold skin, a low moan escaped between Wednesday’s parted lips, the fingers in your hair pulling you impossible closer. The hot, thick red liquid filled your mouth, the iron taste almost unnoticeable, being replaced by a sweet taste that only she had.
Throwing her head back in an attempt to give you more access to her neck, she didn’t even notice that small rhythm her hips were following against your legs, rubbing herself on you. Her scent, stronger than ever, filling every centimeter of your lungs like smoke.
Moving your hands to her hips, you bruised the covered skin as you helped her steady movements. Opening her lips to take a deep breath soon became a breathless moan, your name escaping her parted lips as you drank more and more from her, the poison spreading through her veins as you lick the open wound, capturing what escaped from your hungry mouth before biting her again.
Wednesday was weak in your arms, the hot feeling in the pit of her stomach getting hotter and hotter as she rounded her hips on your leg, a wet stain on the fabric of your jeans as she came, eyes rolling to the back of her head and body falling back, being held by your hands.
Switching positions, you laid the small girl on her bed, dark silky sheets embracing her body as you laid on top of her to lick around her neck, not wasting a single drop of the precious blood that you couldn’t go without.
Kissing your way up to her face, Addams still had her eyes closed, a fainted reddish color spread on her cheeks as she came down from her high. When she opened her eyes, she was met with your golden ones, shining like a star in the night sky. She caressed your face, thumb swiping your lips to collect the thick liquid that covered them before gently sucking on them, maintaining the eye contact; a satisfied hum in her throat.
“Kiss me. I want to taste my blood on your tongue.”
As she commanded, you connected your lips together in a kiss that was soft at first, turning to bruising and desperate as her legs wrapped around your waist, pulling you in, lips wrapping around your tongue to get more of it before she breaks the kiss, hands moving to your shoulders.
“What are you doing?” You asked, confused, as she tried to push you down, but you, being stronger than her, didn’t move an inch.
“I need your tongue somewhere else, and I need it now, so be a good pet and collaborate with me.”
Wednesday was nearly screaming inside, her weak body in desperate need of you, one of the collateral damages from your poison. And the way you smelled, the way your hands touch her body, it was a lot more than just the venom that rushed in her veins, there was something else in the brownish glow that stared at you. You smiled.
“As you wish, master.”

hobie gives fairy!spidey a hug just to tease her and suddenly a giant tree appears in the hq—and everyone just stares at it (whenever she’s flustered she leaves behind flower petals and leaves, basically nature things)
YES i’ve been waiting for this one 🧚🏽‍♀️✨🤍
hobie brown x fairy!spidey! f reader
warnings: none; pure fluff
as hobie playfully wraps his arms around you, teasing you with a warm hug, a sudden influx of magical energy fills the room. as everyone's eyes widen in surprise, they turn their attention to a stunning sight before them – a gigantic tree towering in the middle of the headquarters.
leaves, flower petals, and vines cascade down from you, caught in a whirlwind of your own powers. you blush, your cheeks radiating warmth as the room fills with the sweet scent of nature. the other members of the team are in awe, witnessing this breathtaking display of your unique abilities.
hobie is taken aback but cranes his neck up in awe to see your cute little naturey powers in display. “woah , babe, looks like your powers are a little... bloomin’ today,” he chuckles as he nudges your arm playfully.
you were quite embarrassed as your emotions and feelings usually tied down to your fairy-like powers. “hobie, this is not the time nor the place for puns!”
despite the unexpected appearance of the tree, which now serves as a temporary centerpiece in the headquarters, everyone begins to appreciate the beauty and serenity it brings. soft light filters through the leaves, creating an enchanting ambiance in the room.
gwen comes from behind miles as she takes notice of the beautiful ambiance of the headquarters. she slightly giggles as she places an arm on your shoulder from behind. “well, i wasn't expecting this today, but i have to admit, it's strangely... peaceful.
miles nods as he chimes in standing next to hobie, “yeah, it's like a mini oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle.”
you take a deep breath, the petals and leaves gently swirling around you, and you manage to regain your composure. “okay, okay, let's not make a big deal out of it. i’ll just... figure out how to fix this. sorry about the inconvenience, everyone.” hobie grins, wrapping a comforting arm around your shoulders, “no need to apologize, babe. just another unexpected adventure in our crazy lives. we’ll deal with it together, like we always do.” hobie hugs you from behind as he leaves soft kisses on the side of your face.
miguel comes out of his office as jessica and peter are on his side. he’s sneezing as he somewhat seems to have allergies from all the plants, flowers, and pollen that seems to fill the air. “fairy, you need to-“ he gets caught off by his own sneezes and sniffles, “get rid of it. it’s cute and all but it messes up with my allergies, please.”
“uh—sorry miguel!! i’m on it!!” everyone around you laughs as they take in miguel’s disheveled appearance. with a renewed determination, you focus on your powers, calibrating your control to gradually dissipate the tree. leaves and petals gently fall from the air, slowly gathering in a small pile at your feet.
admist the chaos, a sense of unity and support fills the room, reminding everyone of the strength you find in each other and the undeniable bond you share.

Spidey's Secret - Peter Parker X Female Reader
Tumblr media
Title: Spidey's Secret
Peter Parker X Female Reader
Additional Characters: Ned, MJ (Mentioned), and May (Mentioned)
| Part 2 |
WC: 2,544
Warnings: Angst, small fluff, secret feelings, Reader doesn't know Peter is Spiderman, Reader loves Spiderman, and feels
Setting down his tray next to yours, Peter noticed that you were looking at your phone. Leaning over, Peter's eyes widened as he saw that you were watching Spiderman videos on Youtube.
"Watching Spiderman videos?" Peter asked, and you just nodded your head, still not looking up from the screen.
"Why are you watching a Spiderman video?" Peter asked, and you giggled, surprising Peter.
"He's just amazing." You sighed dreamingly, "So heroic..."
Your statement filled him with pride, making him want to show you how much of a hero he was. He wished he could tell you he was Spiderman, but he didn't want to put you in danger.
"Yeah, so I've heard," Peter smiled, "I mean, you're pretty amazing too."
You blushed, and looked down at the table. "Yeah, but not as amazing as him. He goes out of his way to save people and always does the right thing. Plus, he has superpowers!" You laughed, then added, "I mean have you seen him? He's amazing!"
Peter grinned, nodding his head as he agreed with you. "You've said amazing like three times."
However, being a superhero wasn't easy. They had to deal with villains trying to take them down. It also took a lot of training to keep up. Peter scoffed slightly, he didn't need to train, he was already perfect. But, Peter couldn't help but feel jealous... Of himself? The thought made no sense, but he felt it anyway. If only he could be as amazing as his alter ego. Then again, maybe if he could be as amazing as Spiderman, he would get along better with you. Well, maybe then you'll notice him.
🕸🕷🕸
The next couple of days later, Peter almost forgot about your new obsession with Spiderman, until you surprised him at his locker.
"Boo!" You yelled, startling Peter so much that he jolted backwards.
Surprised that he didn't notice you from his Spidey Sense, he turned to you; he could smell your sweet perfume.
"Why would you do that-?" Peter cut himself off once he took account of your outfit.
You were wearing a Spiderman shirt, blue jeans, and red converse. You had your bag slung over your shoulder, and you had a small smile across your lips.
"Cause, it was funny. Anyway, do you like my new shirt? I saved up to get it!" You teased, and Peter smirked, shaking his head.
"It looks great on you."
"Thank you!" You grinned, and before he could say anything else, you spoke up. "Anyway! Guess what?"
"What?"
You looked around for eavesdroppers or other students, but they were all focused on their own conversations. No one was paying attention to you and Peter, which made you happy. Slowly you took a step closer to Peter, and leaned in before whispering, "I think I have an obsession with Spiderman."
"Really?" Peter whispered back, his heart beating faster than normal.
A wave of nerves washed over him, and he wondered if you could hear his heartbeat. "Oh yeah. I've been watching videos all day. I could hardly sleep last night. I got to the point where I wished I got kidnapped so he could save me... Is that weird? Or am I going crazy?" You paused, waiting for your best friend to respond. When there was no response, you continued talking, "I'd let Spiderman save me any day. I think I'm in love." You finished, and you slowly raised your hand to touch your cheek.
Peter froze. His mind raced as he tried to figure out if this was all real or not... If this was a dream. You were in love with Spiderman? Was this really happening? Did he actually have feelings for a girl who liked Spiderman? He felt jealousy bubble in his stomach, like acid or lava. He mentally cursed at himself... He was jealous of Spiderman... Of himself...
Peter felt like he was dreaming. Maybe if he wasn't such a loser and actually talked to girls, then maybe he wouldn't be so lonely. Well, if he could talk to one girl, you, then maybe he would've been dating you already.
You sighed, seeing that Peter was off in his head. Grabbing his shoulders, you gently shook him, bringing him back to reality. "Pete, you know Spiderman. Can you get me his autograph?"
Peter's eyes went wide, and he felt the blood drain from his face. Thinking about it, there was no harm in just giving you a picture of himself as Spiderman with his signature. But, would you realize that his signature was similar to Spiderman? You had the yearbooks to prove it... Maybe he could get May or Ned to sign it...
"Uh, yeah, sure. I can do that." Peter answered, and you hugged him, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks, Pete. You are like totes the best." You teased, but genuinely happy, before leaving him behind, his face red.
🕸🕷🕸
Finishing the autograph, Peter sighed, leaning back against the back of his chair. Staring at the picture, Peter thought. Maybe he could quickly swing by in his suit and personally give it to you? To see the smile on your face, all for him... Well, Spiderman.
In a flash, he jumped out of his chair, slipping into his costume. After making sure everything was in working order, he grabbed the autograph and swung to your apartment. Landing on your balcony, Peter let out a trembling sigh, before he stood up straight and knocked on your window.
Jumping out of your bed, you furrowed your eyebrows. Was someone knocking on your window? Slowly, you walked over and slid open your curtains. Eyes wide, jaw dropped, you stared at Spiderman before you, who gave you an awkward wave. Quickly shutting the curtain, you looked at your attire, and fixed your hair, before opening the curtain again and opening your window.
"Hello, Spiderman." You called out, and Spiderman nodded his head.
He held up the autographed picture, and you gasped. "Wait... Whaaat?"
Clearing his throat, Spiderman spoke, "Your friend Peter told me that you are my number one fan, so I thought I'd just bring you the autograph myself." Peter blushed, and you giggled, hugging him tightly.
"Thank you!" You cried, and Spiderman smiled shyly under his mask.
"You're welcome," Peter murmured, trying to make his voice deeper.
Pulling back, you awkwardly laughed, rubbing the back of your neck, looking anywhere but at him.
"Well, I just wanted to say that you are super cool." You replied, and Spiderman blushed, before speaking up, "Thank you..."
"I also wanted to say thank you for what you do. You save people from just the goodness of your heart and that's really admirable."
Peter laughed awkwardly, "Oh, uh... No problem. But, you don't have to thank me."
You bit your lip, clutching the autograph to your chest.
"Well, I better get going. It was nice to meet you, Y/N." Spiderman said, and you nodded your head.
"Nice meeting you, Spiderman." You answered, before Spiderman left, leaving you breathless.
🕸🕷🕸
He couldn't stop thinking about you. Every time he thought about you, he thought about Spiderman. He knew he had feelings for you, but he didn't want to scare you away. So, instead of telling you his true identity, he decided to send you some gifts, as Spiderman, from himself. Sketching a drawing of you, Ned nudged Peter, his pen skidding across the paper. Sighing, slightly annoyed, Peter turned to Ned.
"What?" He whispered, and Ned gestured to the sketch of you.
"Just ask her out already."
"I don't know. She really likes Spiderman right now."
"Dude..." Ned huffed, and Peter rolled his eyes.
He knew what Ned was saying. Sighing, Peter began to erase the pencil mark, going back to his sketch as he spoke.
"She loves Spiderman... You should've seen her face when Spiderman gave her the autograph I promised her." Peter chuckled, and Ned frowned, pointing out the obvious.
"That's because she wants to be rescued by Spiderman... She wants to be saved by Spiderman... Save her as Peter. You told me, tell her."
"But, I can't. She'd be in danger. It's too dangerous..." Peter muttered, shrugging his shoulders.
"Look, you love her, right? Then go after her. Just ask her out and be honest." Ned said, and Peter shrugged again.
"I don't know..." He mumbled, before glancing up at Ned. "But I will try..."
🕸🕷🕸
Letting out a sigh, Peter felt his heart beating through his chest. Clutching the bundle of roses in his hand, he raised his hand to knock on your apartment door. It had been a couple of days since he spoke with Ned. Finally, last night, he got up the courage to go to your apartment Saturday, and ask you out on a date. Peter glanced down at the bouquet of flowers, feeling nervous and excited at the same time.
The front door opened, and you popped out, smiling at Peter. "Peter! What a surprise!"
"Hi, Y/N." Peter greeted, and you giggled, stepping aside to let Peter in.
"Wow, these are beautiful!" You exclaimed, and you reached out for the bundle of roses. "Are these for me?"
Peter nodded his head, and you smiled up at him, before pecking him on the cheek.
"Thank you." You whispered, and Peter felt his heart melt.
Clapping his hands together, Peter spoke up, "So, I was wondering if you were free tonight?" The words tumbling out of his mouth.
"Yes, I am." You answered, putting the flowers in a vase.
"Great! I was hoping you'd say that." He let out a sigh, "I was wondering if you would want to join me at my apartment for a movie night?"
"Sure, why not?" You shrugged, and Peter laughed nervously. "Sounds fun. What are we going to watch?"
"Well, I thought we could maybe watch Star Wars, or you could pick something..?" Peter informed you, taking your hand in his.
"Okay." You nodded with a smile as the two of you walked the block to his apartment building.
Entering his apartment, Peter was glad May was gone for the day, giving the two of you some privacy. He knew that if she was there with them, she would tease him the entire time. Sitting on the couch, you turned your body to face him.
"Soooo, I can pick anything right?" You asked, and Peter nodded his head.
"Yeah, you can choose whatever you want." Peter reassured you, and you smirked, looking up at him.
"Anything?" You asked, and Peter nodded his head.
Smiling softly, you grabbed the remote and put on your favorite 80s movie, The Breakfast Club. As the movie started, you cuddled into his side, listening to the opening music. You laid your head on his shoulder, and he wrapped an arm around you, pulling you close to him.
Near the middle of the movie, you furrowed your eyebrows, before you spoke, "Pete?"
Looking down at you, Peter questioned, "Y/N? What is it?" He asked, concerned.
"I was thinking about something..." You murmured, biting your lip as you stared at the screen.
"Dangerous..." Peter joked, and you elbowed him in the side.
"I'm serious here, Peter." You spoke quietly, and Peter furrowed his brows.
"What's on your mind?" He asked, and you looked up at him, before turning to face the TV and whispering, "How did Spiderman know my name? When he came to my house?"
Peter blinked, and he sat up straight. "... I told him your name?"
You shook your head, staring intently at Peter now, "You don't sound so sure." You mused, tilting your head, "Did he ever ask for my name since you asked for an autograph for me?"
Peter shook his head, "No, he never asked me that." He breathed, and you looked up at him, a worried expression on your face.
"Are you saying he's stalking me?" You asked, looking up at him.
Peter shook his head, "No, I don't think so." Peter assured you, "It's more likely that he just saw your name on the yearbook." Right at that moment... Peter froze.
"Yearbook? Are you saying he goes to our school, Peter?" You asked, and Peter nodded his head.
"I don't know how he knows your name, but yes, he probably does." Peter said, and you sighed.
"Then... Then how did he know where I lived?" You asked, and Peter shook his head, "I don't know... But, it doesn't matter. I'm just confused..."
You leaned into his side, resting your head against his shoulder. Peter stroked your hair as the two of you watched the rest of the movie. When it ended, Peter turned to look at you once more. You had this distant look in your eyes.
"Are you alright?" He asked, and you turned to look up at him, mouth slightly agape, eyes wide.
"Peter?" You asked, and Peter smiled.
"Yes?" He asked, gluping.
You looked into his eyes, and you whispered, "Are you Spiderman?"
"I... I'm sorry, what?" Peter stuttered, and you looked up, tears forming in your eyes.
You hugged yourself tighter, shaking with emotions.
"Are you Spiderman, Peter Parker?" You whimpered, and Peter swallowed hard.
"Y... Yes..." He murmured, and you sniffled.
"That makes so much sense..." You cried, and Peter took your hand in his. "Why you always go out at night and never text me back... Why you sometimes come to school with a bruise or two..." You sobbed, "I thought you trusted me. Why didn't you tell me?"
Peter gently touched your cheek, and you brought your teary face closer to his.
"I'm sorry, Y/N. But, if you knew it would be too dangerous." Peter mumbled, and you shook your head, wiping the tears off your cheeks.
"Who else knows? May? Ned? MJ?" You whispered, getting angry, and Peter nodded his head.
You scoffed, pulling away from him. "I thought I was your best friend. We told each other everything." You pouted, "Then why did you keep such a big secret from me?"
Peter tried to speak, but he couldn't find the words. He felt his heart pounding inside his chest.
"Peter?" You asked, and he shook his head.
"I'm sorry, Y/N. Please forgive me." Peter begged, and you glared at him.
"Forgive you? For keeping a huge secret from me? And, I don't care if it was dangerous. You didn't seem to care or not when you told May, Ned, and MJ."
"They found out by accident, Y/N. May walked in when I was in my suit. Ned's too smart for his own good, and MJ... Well, she just knew somehow. But... You... I..." Peter stammered, and you glared at him.
"Don't say you're sorry again. I don't want to hear it." You spat, pushing him away, and Peter cringed.
"Y/N, please... I'm sorry." Peter pleaded, and you held up your hand, stopping him.
"Sorry isn't going to cut it..." You whispered, and Peter swallowed hard. "You... Peter Parker... Broke my trust... And my heart." You spoke, before getting up and leaving the apartment altogether.
Peter was left speechless as he watched you leave. He stood there for a few minutes, staring at the closed door, his eyes tearing up.
He messed up.

Maybe this is me being an older woman, but I say we make both female Peters more competent and less energetic. Since they're women people have already assume for years that they'll be more gentle and caring – we can use that standard and translate it into being cool as a cucumber in their civilian masks, while Spiderwoman takes all of the energy and silliness. Being women would also force them to experience misogyny – especially as superheroes, a male dominated sphere – so they aren't as quick to anger, at least not visibly, as that show of emotion can be used against them.
I totally agree. I like the idea of them behaving different from the mask and being more confident as being Spider-Woman than in their civilian forms.
I always liked to imagine Peter being calm and quiet without the mask and expressing what they want to act and say with the mask on. It does feel a bit weird to have him being portrayed as his Spidey counterpart while in his civilian form unless the situation calls for it, like being alone or with someone he’s close with.
I love and stand by the idea of Spidey, no matter what gender, would be as composed as he can in the mask though his male counterpart would allow a few irrational words leave his mouth unlike his female counterpart.

When you moved to the small town of Jericho and started working at the only coffee shop around, you didn’t expect to get anyone’s attentions, especially from the local “freaky”. Wednesday Addams was full of surprises and secrets and, apparently, everyone here knew a bit about her.
Gossips followed you around like fog in the morning after a raining night, the eccentric Addams always being the subject that echoed inside the brownish walls of the café.
“I’ve heard she eats raw meat,” a high school student dressed in black and blue uniform said to her friend, no caring enough to at least whisper.
The other just nodded, not paying attentions to her surrenders, not even when the little bell above the entrance door jingled.
“My father told me her dad killed someone in Nevermore when he was a student… imagine being the daughter of a killer.”
“Imagine being the daughter of a former police officer who was expelled from the police force for not being able to solve a simple case that happened more than 20 years ago.” The tranquil voice caught your attention, causing you to turn on your heels behind the counter.
Wednesday was standing next to the table where the two students sat, arms crossed and a deadly shine in her eyes. You smiled.
“Miss Addams, please stop terrorizing the small girls, they know nothing about life,” you spoke once you saw the reddish color in the girls’ cheeks.
“They better learn fast; life is not gentle.” She turned her head to you. “And neither am I.”
“Oh, should I fear for my life?”
You tilted your head, trying to get Wednesday’s attention in order for the girls to go back to the other students of Nevermore. The raven girl redirected her body towards you, taking steps until she was standing in front of the cashier.
“You most definitely should.”
Head motioning for the girls to leave, you placed both of your hands on the icy, black marble that covered the top of the counter.
“If I die, who’s going to make you your favorite cherry muffin?”
“Before I met you, I survived just fine without the sweetness of it in my daily life, I’m positive I can do it again once you’re gone.” She lifted her chin. “Now stop staling and bring me a double espresso, no sugar and a cherry muffin before I start terrorizing you instead.”
You chuckled, rolling your eyes as she turned to sit on the costumery table.
Putting the cherry muffin in a plate, you turned to the Italian coffee machine with an empty white mug in hand and freshly brewed coffee in the other.
As the bitter liquid slowly filled the porcelain, flashes of the first time you were face to face with Wednesday took over your memory. She was so small in her black and white Nevermore uniform, looking like an old school cartoon, disappearing behind the other students as she patiently and quietly waited in line to order. She stared at you, taking two steps ahead when the last person in front of her moved away with their order in hands, taking a seat with the others, black eyes that didn’t blink and looked dead, the pale white skin didn’t help either. Not a single mark on it, you noticed, except for the adorable freckles that spread over her small nose bridge and covered the surrounding area of her cheek bones.
She was polite and calm, unlike the others, speaking in a monotone voice that actually surprised you.
Wednesday ordered a small size espresso with no sugar. You offered her a muffin, freshly out of the oven and still warm. She was reluctant in saying ‘yes’ at first, but something in you convinced her.
Once the mug was filled, you placed it side by side with the muffin, smiling and murmuring a small ‘I hope you like it’, to which she replied with: “Thank you,” extending her hands to take the plate and mug of the counter.
She looked at the red-blood muffin before looking at you, giving you a small nod of her head before walking to an empty table.
You watched as she sat herself down and stared at the small cake in front of her, you licked your lips, curious to know if she would like it or not; it was your favorite, after all.
Wednesday tilted her head to the side, analyzing the sweet in front of her, internally admiring the color of it and how the powdered sugar on top of it reminded her of snow covered in blood.
Taking the wrap of it, she hesitantly took a bite of it, slowly chewing it. You bet your lips, anxiously standing behind the counter. She then took another bite, and another one, and another one, rapidly finishing the muffin.
You smiled to yourself, finally changing the focus of your attention.
Now, almost 7 years of the first interaction, you still secretly admired Wednesday as you waited for the coffee to fill the small sized mug. But now was different, she started drinking a double espresso to maintain her brain awake and cherry muffins became a part of her daily life.
But only if it was made by your hands.
Once the porcelain turned bitter black, you left your place from behind the corner and sat them down in front of the goth, taking the empty seat in front of her.
“Thank you,” Wednesday said simple, eyes focused on the yellowish pages that had all her attention.
“A new case?” You asked, curious, taking a look around the nearly empty coffee shop.
“A runner found two dead bodies in the woods on Saturday, the captain assumed I’d be interested and gave me the case this morning.”
You pursed your lips, a tight knot in your stomach as your eyes analyzed the super graphic images that decorated the table. Pushing the images away from your point of view, you wondered how Wednesday could eat the red-blooded muffin while looking at actual blood.
As if she could read your mind, black painted nails reached for the small cake, her eyebrows sewing together once she saw what you did, “Care to explain what this is?”
You pursed your lips, containing a smile. On top of the sweet, a white skeleton’s head was drawn, black, deep-hollowed eyes filled with dark chocolate chips with a sewed-like smile under and dark red blood dripping from its eyes.
“I made it for you, Halloween is near, and I figured you’d like it.”
“I can see that. What I want you to explain is why there’s blood coming from its eyes. Bones can’t bleed, there’s no tissue that can carry blood vessels or veins, it's just bones.”
You rolled your eyes, “It’s a cupcake, Wens. Just eat it.”
“Fine.”
When she took the first bite, dark red filling dripped onto her hands. It was a mix between the sweetness of sugar and the sourness of cherry combined that only you could do it perfectly.
“So… did you like it?”
Wednesday chewed and swallowed everything, licking her lips to capture the remained syrup, missing a small drop on the corner of her mouth. The tip of her fingers covered in the cherry liquid.
“It’s too sweet, next time don’t add any sugar to it. It’s not healthy. And it’s also too sticky and messy. I need a napkin.”
Reaching out for her hand, you sucked the tip of her fingers, closing your eyes at the sweetness that filled your mouth.
“You don’t need a napkin, you have a girlfriend to clean it for you.”
Wednesday widened her eyes at your action, looking around to make sure nobody saw that. The coffee shop was empty as it was almost noon and everyone was either at work or at school, only the two of you occupying a space inside.
“That was unnecessary.” She said with an affected tone.
“It was very necessary, I needed to see if it was too sweet.” You stood up, taking the empty plate in hands. Before returning to the kitchen, you leaned into her personal space, noses touching and the smell of her perfume filling your senses, that small drop being the only thing you saw in front of you. “You have some here too.”
The moment the tip of your tongue licked the red syrup, so close to her lips, Wednesday grabbed the mug near her hands, squeezing it hard enough to break if it was made of fragile material.
Before standing up properly, you pressed a chaste kiss to her lips, tasting the sourness in it.
“I’ll make sure the next ones aren’t too sweet for you, cara mia.” You winked, rapidly walking back to the counter to start preparing the muffins for the afternoon clients. And for your bitter girlfriend that cursed you under her breath for fogging up her brain with your tongue, taking away all the concentration she needed to solve this murder case. One that would need to wait after she locked the door, turned the open sign to ‘closed’, and dragged you by the hand to the supply closet.

omg wait, miguel holding a group meeting with the spiders but sunshine!spidey’s mind keeps wandering off to the time where she accidentally inhaled sex pollen and miguel basically had to help her so he pleasured her using his fingers…he doesn’t think anything of it (well maybe a little) but she can’t help but to have those flashbacks at the most randomest times and it send butterflies in her tummy 🤭🤭 he notices that she’s flustered too and he keeps glaring at her.
YES 🤭
miguel o’hara x sunshine!spidey! f reader
warnings: smut 18+, nsfw, fingering
you couldn’t help your poor little mind from going to the gutter. every time you looked at miguel whether he’s casually speaking or speaking to others—you can’t help but have your mind wander to the time miguel was knuckles deep inside of your wet cunt. just the mere thought of it made you squeeze your legs together tightly and feel yourself become wet, soaking your lacy panties. miguel had such an effect on you and you knew that. he got under a spell and he definitely got you wrapped around his finger.
there was this one time where you inhaled a sex pollen which had the same affect as an aphrodisiac. being close to miguel you had asked for help and begged him to give you the release your aching body needed. miguel eagerly lifted you up placing you on his desk as he took off your suit. you were left with your bra and panties that were dripping with your wetness. he slid you panties to the side and inserted two fingers as he slightly stretched you out completely. his fingers were long and thick, making you feel full. the burning sensations of the stretch yet the pleasure coursing throughout your body made you bite down onto his shoulders. he praised you saying how you were being such a good girl for him. that he was going to fuck you until you couldn’t remember your name. or, how he was going to fill up both of your holes because of how you were being such a needy slut for him. miguel’s face was buried in the crook of your neck as he pumped his fingers in and out of you—making you squirt instantly all over his hand. the sounds of your gaping pussy, squelched and swallowed him whole, putting miguel in a frenzy. he made you orgasm a couple times till you felt you were completely satisfied. his fingers felt amazing and you needed that release you’ve craved so badly.
you were in your mind the whole time replaying the scenario of miguel fingering you. you hadn’t realized you were staring at miguel the whole time as he spoke diligently to everyone in the meeting room. he had caught you staring this whole entire time. you were filled to the brim with embarrassment as you batted you eyes away from his eye contact. you gulped nervously as you felt butterflies pool in your stomach and the way heat radiated off of your entire body. your cheeks flushed pink and you fiddled with your fingers thinking back to that time where miguel had you putty under his control.
miguel couldn’t help but bite back a smile as he needed to focus on the task at hand. if he were to smile at you that would definitely make the rest of the spider-people raise a red flag…and he didn’t need that kind of attention on him. and definitely not on you. he was definitely going to put you in your place after the meeting for distracting him with your presence whether it was intentional or not.

Omg I just saw that u write for atsv!! So I was wondering if u could do one with a female reader x hobie where the readers quite reserved to everyone in public (maybe she’d been a spidey longer so she’s lost more people? Idk why she’d be reserved bc I cannot write for shot lmao) and people think she’s super cold but then they like?? Walk in, and she’s like open and warm with Hobie (it doesn’t matter if she’s loud or not) and they kinda just look at the scene in shock like wtf and Pav is sort of smug bc he knew all along and then it comes out that they’re dating?
It Sounds Nice coming from You.
Hobie Brown x Fem!Spidey Reader
“I totally called it.” “Don’t even speak, Pavitr.”
Tumblr media
kisses him cause he my bf (-compulsive liar)
People whispered about you. Spider people and the general public alike. Your city spreading gossip, rumours and misinformation to try and figure out who you were, but that was a Spiderwoman affair, every one of them dealt with it.
But having people same as you talk in hushed tones, glancing at you as you walked past. That’s a new kind of feeling.
The Spider Society didn’t exactly favour you, per se. There was nothing inherently wrong with you either, so no reason to get rid of you. But you were just so silent. No one knew a thing about you.
You mostly kept to yourself around base, never really trying too hard to make friends, you were well known enough not to be questioned. A loyal fighter was what you were recognised for, not your personality, your abilities.
There were still some people that managed to creep their way in though, their hearts so full of love, you didn’t know how to refuse them.
So you conceded. You let them in, and begged to any deity that would listen not to take them from you.
Hobie knew you as someone who could listen. Who understood him rather than challenged his beliefs. Not that he had any, but that was the point.
Your lack of input made him feel accepted in going on tangents of why he thought the way he did. And you just sat, and listened. A kind heart and an open mind.
Which eventually led to him falling for that kind heart. Tripping over his own feet to please your silent self. To get those small smiles or amused huffs out of you.
The occasional time you spoke to him, under hushed breaths and fond tones. God, he couldn’t take it.
The way your accent forms over each and every word, how your voice was akin to honey malt, sweet and addicting. Only giving him small doses, but he was the only one who got those doses. Only him, and you, and the words you spoke or times you listened.
He knows that people thought you were cold, or unloving. And maybe you were at first, maybe he thought you were. But he figured you out fast. Where you couldn’t talk, you could touch. Brushing your hands over his arm to get his attention. Linking your hand through his and dragging him away from people you don’t want to be near, he would smile down at you and follow along like a lost puppy. How your brows would crease a certain way, or nose would scrunch a little when you found distaste in things. He was a fool for you.
Where you lacked in verbal communication, you strived in every other category. So when some Spider-people decided to come to him, urging him for answers about you.
Telling him that he wasn’t sure you even wanted to be here—, Hobie would shut down the conversation quicker than thought to be possible. Giving a simple “She’s just quiet.”, and ditching the moment the words are out of his mouth.
It’d worked—, for a while. Ignoring the demeaning or conspiratorial comments made about you by spider-people a-kind. But eventually it got the better of him. Having him borderline snarl at the people who would talk shit right in front of his, or your, face.
“She’s silent, ain’t she?”
“Yeah. Peter 48 said she was like that ‘cause she killed her parents, made ‘er real quiet.”
“Jesus christ. Wouldn’t surprise me, she’s a freak.”
“Dude—“ One of the two spiders, the first one, turned to Hobie. Spider-senses ringing. Hobie stated back at them, deadpan and unblinking. “Don’t.”
The younger spider paled, quickly trying to backtrack.
“Hey— Hobie. I— Didn’t mean it. Was just repeating what I heard, ykno—“
“Cut it, mate.”
He squeaked, head tilting down in respect, the other spider following.
“Stop spreading shit rumours like ‘at. It ain’t fun when you’re the subject. ‘S it?”
“No.”
“Mm.”
Hobie walked past them smoothly, brushing shoulders with the kid just to scare him a little more. When he was far enough away, he heard them start to whisper to one another. “Fuck man, that was close. He could tell Miguel, and then we’d be out.”
“Jesus..”
He felt rather accomplished that day.
It was days later where you were brought up around him again. He’d been texting you, the upper half of his body hanging from Miguel’s platform, his wicks shifting every time he moved.
Miguel and Lyla were talking amongst themselves, clicking through holograms and sorting things out for potential anomalies.
Jess, Pavitr and Gwen had walked into the room chatting, Pav and Gwen expressing their excitement rather loudly.
He glanced up at them from his phone, you were still typing.
immm gonna b homein ten just be patient >:(
I’m patient 🦑

He can’t die, he’s immortal
The ‘Texting’ bubble popped up on his screen.
“Hey, Hobie!”
Pavitr was running up to him, looking from his lowered position below the elevated platform.
He slipped further down the platform, slumping slowly as he greeted Pavitr upside down.
“Pav, my guy!”
Pavitr bounced on the balls of his feet, smiling wide at his friend.
“What’chu doing up there?”
His eyes darted to Miguel and Lyla, ending their conversation.
Smirking, he whispered to Hobie, “With the grump.”
Hobie snickered, gaining a disapproving look from Jess.
“Textin’ [Name].”
Just then, the next message from you showed.
immortal ??? how consistent of him to live
He grinned, typing back quickly while Pavitr eyed him knowingly.
He’s a squid, he’s more fluid than anything
ihu
terrivle joke
No, you don’t
And it was great
wtvr >:P
Hobie grabbed the ledge of the platform and swung down, landing softly in front of Pavitr and pocketed his phone.
“Glad ya ‘ere. Those two can’t keep it quiet, aye?” He said, pointing back towards Lyla and Miguel.
“They do argue very often.”
“Nah, Lyla don’t argue, mate. Just the hardass.”
Pavitr snorted and Hobie softly punched his stomach in jest, earning one from Pav to the chest, and starting a round of playful punching. Pavitr laughed as Hobie brought him into a headlock, scrunching his fist over the shorter man’s hair and rubbing it in.
They let up when they heard Lyla teasing Miguel for something again, giggling to each other at his expense.
He threw an arm over his fluffy haired friend and leaned his weight on him. Pav smiled up at him once more, brighter now. Before he could speak, Gwen’s voice echoed through the barren room.
“Same reason as you, I’m guessing.”
Hobie turned his head towards her, dropping himself off Pav and standing up straight again. Smiling at her as she reached him, and went in to hug her briefly. When they disconnected, he spoke again.
“Yeah—, No clue then, mini-punk.”
“Don’t call me that.”
“Neither big bad has said nothin’ to me yet.”
“Seriously, are we going to skip over that?”
“Maybe they’re waiting until [Name] is here!” Pavitr chimed in.
“What does mini-punk even mean!”
“Not exactly, Pavitr.”
Jess, who now was standing next to Miguel, spoke.
The trio turned to face the two elder spider-people.
“Huh?”
“We wanted to have a discussion with the three of you—.” Miguel put his hands on his hips, authority that Hobie only saw as a challenge emanating from his figure.
“—Away from [Name], she’s already been consulted.”
Hobies eyes narrowed, the atmosphere in the room suddenly shifting to something a lot less unfriendly, and a lot more cautious.
Jess caught wind of the younger man’s tense stature and shuffled forward a step, not unwilling to intervene.
“Nothing too bad, just—,” He paused for a moment, the dense light from the reflective floors making the contours of his face pop.
Hobie watched with batted breath, posture only slightly relaxing from the statement. The crease in his brows begging to be drawn, yet his pokerface was something to be beat.
“,—Addressing her.. lack of communication.”
A shiver raked down the brit’s body, physically restraining himself from chewing this man out with a rebuttal.
“Wha’ ‘bout it?”
His gruff voice was a stark indicator of his annoyance.
“Well, ignoring the rumours following her—,”
Hobie, the usually rather sensical man, was getting more agitated by the minute.
“,—We’ve noticed a certain independence that she holds. Something not many others do.”
The punk quirked a brow.
“So?” Gwen was the one to talk now.
“That doesn’t seem very serious, ‘f you ask me.” She laughed lightly, trying to lighten the mood. Something Pavitr seemed a tad scared to do. There was a lot of competition in the air right now, he wasn’t very competitive.
“Exactly, it’s not.”
Jess cut in, seeing how terribly Miguel started this conversation made her cringe.
“It’s not—, but,” She shook her head, hair falling prettily with every move. “,Her ‘independence’, has been more akin to ‘lack of teamwork’. In some cases.”
Gwen started to speak again, her eyebrows furrowed, just as Hobies now were. He was right about brewing with offence.
“So!—,” Jess cut her off before she could begin.
“So there’s no need for her to have distractions anymore. From now on, she will not be going on team missions. Just solo’s.”
“Wha—! You’re cutting her off?!”
“Gwen, it’s not like that.”
“Like hell it isnt! She’s a part of us!”
“Doesn’t this mean she’s going to be in more danger?” Pavitr spoke up, concerned.
“No— well, not unless—,”
“Unless!? You’ve gotta’ be kidding!” Gwen choked out.
“And what does ‘consulted’ mean! Did she agree to this?!—“
They continued to argue, Gwen and Pavitr advocating for your teamwork skills while Miguel and Jess had made up their mind.
“No communication,” He pinched the bridge of his nose “,Fuck off.” Hobie scoffed under his breath, turning to leave and storming out.
The voices of Miguel, Jess and his friends following him through the portal to you.
“You agreed to this?”
lIts not like they’re wrong, I just hold you all back.”
He huffed, exasperated. Not only were you putting yourself in danger, you were doing it alone. And letting some guy who has a borderline vendetta against teens be the call for it.
“Now, you know that’s not tr—“
His stern voice was cut off by the frown on your face quivering. A due sign of you nearing to cry.
“Oh, shit— C’mon dollface, c’mere.”
He sat down on your shared bed, scooting against the headboard and bringing you into his lap. A soothing hand ran over your back as you tried to reel in your embarrassment.
“I really didn’t mean to agree.”
Hobie sighed, pushing your head into his neck and watching how the rings adorning his fingers rose goosebumps in their path. “I know, sweet’eart.”
And he did know, the moment that it had been a meeting addressed solely with just Jess and Miguel, he knew that Peter had been excluded for a reason. That Miles had been sent after an anomaly as an unknowing distraction for Peter to chase after. He knew those two intimidated you. And the fear of parental disappointment was something they used on you—, young, sweet you. That only ever got hurt because she didn’t want her problems to hurt others, or herself.
You had opened up to him once. Told him what everyone twisted when they whispered sickening words. A story unlike the rumours crowding your reputation.
How no, you hadn’t killed your parents, or siblings, or whatever messed up thing people claimed of you.
You told him how you hadn’t been bitten yet. How, when your family was killed, you hadn’t had any powers. So you couldn’t save them. And it wasn’t even canon. Nothing could’ve stopped them from dying, but it didn’t have to happen. And that was the guilt that weighed on you. How no matter the hardships your parents put you through, a kid neglected of attention. You still would rather die a million times for them to live once.
And it’s all “would”, and never “can”.
Other spider-people don’t have to live with the fact their parents died for nothing. Was what you said. A messed up thought, no doubt. And one you felt guilty for. But the sole continuer of this sorrow-filled silence. Which has worked well enough to protect you so far, why is Hobie one to break that?
Because you love him, you guess.
His hands slid further down your back, resting on the curve of your waist in his lap.
His breathing soothed yours. The shuddering breaths you had been giving to stop your tears, also stopped.
“You wanna talk about your day instead, luv?”
“Yeah, thank you Hobie.”
“Love when you say my name, Babydoll. So pretty and sweet like that.”
Wrapping your hands around his lithe waist, you hummed. Beginning your recount of the day in the honeyed, reserved tone you’d always held.
Around half an hour had passed with Gwen arguing against Miguel before Peter showed up, Moles in tow.
“What’s all this about?” His slippers flopped when he walked and the baby carrier strapped to his chest shifted every time a sleeping MayDay squirmed to get comfortable.
“This—, This asshole!”
“Gwen.” Jess chastised her.
Gwen ignored it, pointing at Miguel accusingly. “—Kicked [Name] off the team!”
“Not kicked.”
“You said she wasn’t going with us anymore.”
Miles looked offended by the prospect. “Why?”
“She’s not kicked, she’s simply better off solo.”
“Oh, so it’s our fault then!”
“Gwendolyne.”
“All of you, stop.”
Peters voice ended the bickering, having learnt since fatherhood exactly how to use said voice. “We are not sending an 18 year old on solo mission against anomalies.”
“Since when did you have a say—“
“Miguel. You’re an idiot if you think i’m going to let that happen. That’s a kid.”
“She’s an adult.”
“When it’s convenient to you.”
Miguel pinched his nose bridge, growling under his breath. Jess spared a glance at him before wincing and backing down from the conversation.
“She doesn’t talk to people.”
“I’m sure she does, just not to you.” Gwen cut in.
“Yeah, her and Hobie talk a lot.” Miles prepped up on his toes. Pavitr smiled and hummed an agreement.
“Not that I’ve seen.”
Peter gave him another disapproving look. “Disregarding that. The fact you decided to not consult me on this decision is another reason that it’s not happening.”
“Consult? Like some council, please.” Miguel scoffed at him, rolling his eyes and turning to open a holographic tab.
“Yes, like some council. Someone’s gotta be the brains ‘round here.” The father joked, coddling MayDay as she cooed.
“I’m going to go inform [Name] the retraction of this decision.”
“Don’t you dare.”
“Oops too late, portals open.”
“Can I come with?” Miles jogged after Peter, hopping quickly through the portal, Peter, Gwen and Pavitr following. Not without Gwen flipping Miguel off as she went. “We’ll sort something out, she can go duos with Hobie.” Jess put a hand on his shoulder, watching as he stared off to where the portal had previously been with a sided expression before sighing.
“Yeah..”
“That went great.” Lyla dragged, popping up on Miguel’s shoulder.
“I’m a second away from shutting you off.”
The AI blew a raspberry at her companion, and disappeared.
He had went off on a tangent about some movie he saw, or song he’d heard. Hobie honestly couldn’t remember, he was too focused on you. The way your voice sounded, how open you were being with him when every now and then you would respond to him. The hearts in his eyes were probably from how heavy his own was beating. Staring at you like a sinner to a prophet.
You had moved down from his lap, now curled against his side, head leaning on his shoulder and hand resting on his chest. At some point, the movie you had been watching before Hobie showed up was unpaused, and serving as background noise for his quiet rambling.
Both of you pressed under a blanket to beat the cold, and the darkness outside your window being killed off by the lights strung across your room. He doesn’t think he’s ever felt this cozy, this utterly comfortable.
Sparks of colour strung out of nowhere, neither of them really seeing it at first, up until it spat out Miles. He stumbled forward a little and went to greet you before taking on the scene. You and Hobie cuddled up on a bed, blanket wrapped around you both, fire going, people singing. He was exaggerating the last parts, but it felt necessary for something so unexpected.
“Hey—, guys.” The awkward teen managed, before Peter walked through the portal with the other two in tow.
“Woah, no mean to interrupt.”
Peter put his hands up in surrender. Hobie snorted, it wasn’t like you were incapable of affection, It just seems he was the only one who got it.
“I totally called it.”
“Don’t even speak, Pavitr.”
He pouted, before giggling and waltzing over to sit next to the both of you. Flopping down on the bed and turning to watch the TV.
“Oh my god, I love this movie!”
“Favourite character?” You inquired. A collective raise of eyebrows was shown throughout the room.
Gwen shuffling over to sit down as well, a baffled look on her face.
“The horse.”
“Pff- Max?” Hobie snorted at Pav. Giving the still rather confused Miles - Peter duo a reassuring smile. And greeting Gwen with a fist bump, she smiled wearily at him before her smirk filled out and she punched his arm in congrats.
Pavitr nodded and laughed, gasping excitedly when the scene on the lake showed up. “Perfect timing.”
You glanced up at Hobie, Miles and Peter finding somewhere to sit as well, talking quietly amongst themselves.
He smiled at you, bringing you in closer while Pavitr sat smug.
The air of confusion slowly dissipated into something accepting, none but Pavitr had really expected you to be so.. Open. But they came to find they didn’t exactly mind it.
Everyone had left by now, the knowledge that you didn’t have to go on dangerous missions alone anymore leaving Hobie satisfied and you comforted.
“You doin’ right, babe?”
“Yeah, Hobes.”
You gripped his shirt a tad tighter and yawned, eyes drifting more shut as the minutes ticked down. “Wanna go t’ bed?”
“We’re in bed, dummy.”
He shot you a playful look.
“Don’ ge’ smart with me, young lady.”
You smiled at him before he made the decision to shuffle you both down in bed to get comfortable, switching off the lights by the outlet. He moved back to you, letting his whole body rest near yours, and letting you initiate any contact wanted.
A leg wrapped around his, and your arm still picking the fabric of his shirt.
“Sleep, sweethear’.”
“Mhmmph.”
Hobies breathe lulled you to sleep, white noise against your racing thoughts. He watched you fall, your trust in him to keep you safe was enough to make a man weak. He smiled, looking out your shared window at the city life below.
No crime, no anomaly or misshaped villain could possibly drag him away from you.

pairing spiderman!mark x female!reader
synopsis mark has tried to hide his secret identity from you for as long as possible, to keep you safe, of course. little does he know that you’ve untangled his web of lies long ago and will do anything in your power to get him to admit it. just when you've had enough of him lying to you, he ends up getting caught in the act trying to save your life.
genre established relationship, fighting (if you squint), lots of fluff, slight violence and cat-calling, slightly suggestive, mark calls reader “my girl” and “pretty girl”.
wc 2.9k
Tumblr media
“do you think that spiderman guy is actually as good as everyone says he is?” you ask mark, who lay peacefully in your lap as your fingers ran through his hair.
you two had been hanging out after school, as you usually do, watching random channels while you both indulged in each other's day. however, you had articulated this hangout the night prior.
a few days ago, you had aimlessly been searching through mark’s backpack in hopes of finding your calculus notes, which you had so graciously let him borrow, only to stumble upon a very familiar red and black mask balled up in the bottom.
at first, you thought mark had hit peak fangirl. he was obsessed with the superhero after all, completely drawn to the tv or newspaper whenever spiderman was mentioned, but so was every other human being in your city.
so when you began noticing how mark’s late-night appearances and “fashionably late” activities began lining up with the famous building-swinging superhero, your mind put the pieces together.
you tried to understand his point of view and why he wouldn’t reveal this very key detail about himself. it hurt you, though, feeling as though there was something in you that made him not feel comfortable enough to expose himself to you.
so, you compiled a plan to get the truth out of him organically, or as organically as this could be.
“wha… what do you mean?” your boyfriend’s head quickly snapped up, turning on his palm to face you with a questionable look knitted into his features.
a smile teasingly pulled on your lips, knowing you had hit a sore spot in his ego. how couldn’t he be proud of himself? after all, he was known as the hero of your city.
“i don’t know,” you continued, leaning back against the couch, watching your boyfriend swing from building to building on the screen in front of your bodies. “he just seems too full of himself, like cool you can swing from buildings and hang upside down, but we have police and firefighters for a reason!”
it took everything in you to not break character, slowly watching mark’s face grow red at your painful statements. he just looked at you, eyes blown wide and brows pulled so close together that you were certain he could get stuck like that.
with a small giggle, you reached out, brushing your thumb between the crease in his brows and bringing it down to caress his cheek.
“what’s with the face, baby? don’t tell me you're obsessed with him too.” his face slowly relaxed as your soft hand held his face, but his brain was still scrambling with your previous statements.
how could you find him not absolutely amazing? he could swing from buildings and hang upside down!
“you don’t think he’s cool? not even a little bit?” mark’s eyes followed yours to the screen. spiderman now being shown saving an older woman from getting mugged.
“i think he’s cool, i guess.” you looked back at your boyfriend only to find his eyes already on your face, his previous expression appearing again. “babe, you can’t be serious.” mark leaned back, feeling completely bewildered by your nonchalant attitude towards his heroic duties.
“it’s not that big of a deal."it’s not like you’re spiderman, so why should it matter if i like him or not?” you titled your head away from the screen to watch his eyes grow wide, and you could audibly hear his breath hitch.
“but…” he quickly let out before catching himself, looking at the tv to see his segment disappear. “but what?” you teased, beginning to feel bad for your ministrations.
he looked back at your face, sighing heavily. “nothing, just like the guy a bit," he said before lying back in your lap to hide his face from you.
this was going to be a lot harder than you thought.

“hey baby~” mark cooed as he stepped into your apartment, takeout bags in hand. you quickly sprung up from your spot at the counter, running to hug your boyfriend after not seeing him for awhile.
after your first attempt to disclose his true identity was unsuccessful, you held off from bringing up the topic for awhile.
but you had finally decided to take a different approach this time.
“i missed you, pretty girl.” the nickname made your cheeks heat up as his cold hands held your face in front of his. he inspected you lovingly, relishing in the fact that he could finally hold you without school being in the way.
“missed you too," you replied before kissing him softly. mark dropped the plastic bag on the counter beside him, pulling you firmly against him. his lips were almost enough to make you forget about your plan.
almost.
“god, i’m hungry.” you pulled away, making him laugh at your cute antics, and he joined you on your couch to eat. as you sat, you pulled off your (mark’s) sweatshirt to reveal the key details of your plan.
mark quickly noticed the black spiderman logo displayed across your chest, at a loss for how quickly your opinion of him changed. “you like?” you asked, flaunting the red baby tee you had bought earlier that day.
“i- i thought you thought spiderman was stupid." he nearly choked on his food, trying not to blush at the image of his girl repping him like this.
“i never said he was stupid, mark. i just thought he was overhyped, but i now understand where all the love is coming from.” you looked down, ogling at your new shirt, sure of its effect on your boyfriend.
“oh…” he tried to fight the grin, trying to cover his lips, but couldn’t contain his relief. “glad you finally came around, baby.” he smiled before shoving his face with more food.
“you’re not jealous?” you asked, beginning to take on step two of your plan. “he is a guy, after all.”
this made mark actually choke on his food. “what? why would i be jealous about that?"
“i mean, your girlfriend wearing a shirt for some muscular superhero who is most definitely sickly hot under that skin tight suit he wears while saving lives." you went on swirling your fork in your food, looking up every so often to see mark’s cheeks darken at the compliments.
he held his head down, but not enough for his flushed ears and cheeks to go unoticed. “why are you so red, baby? i still like you more, you know; spiderman can’t take you away from me.” you reached over and combed your fingers through his hair to feign worry.
“that is, unless he happens to swing by and sweep me up with his insane muscles.” you winked, making your boyfriend turn into a tomato.
“yeah, you wish he would do that.” mark  joked, trying to deflate his growing pride, which you continued to boost.
“what? are you saying i’m not worthy of spiderman’s fantastic biceps picking me up and swinging me through the night sky?” mark looked at you quizzically.
you couldn’t be serious, could you?
mark discarded his food, crawling over to trap you beneath his body. "fantastic, you say... and what are these?” he made reference to his own muscular arms peeking through his fitted white tee.
"marvelous," you replied, sliding your fingers softly over your boyfriend's muscles. how lovely it was that you didn’t have to dream of spiderman’s biceps as they sat right in front of you.
“better than fantastic in my book.” mark smiled before catching your lips in his.
your spiderman shirt was soon discarded in that moment but continued to linger in mark’s head days later.

“i’m just gonna go grab a few things. i promise i won’t be long.” you stood in your doorway, attempting to run to the store to get a few things before it got too late.
mark hated this.
“why cant i just go get it or go with you?” mark wrapped his arms around you from behind, making it increasingly difficult to slide on your shoes. he kissed you all over your neck and face, held your hand, pulled at your jacket sleeves, and even attempted to block the door entirely to try and get you to stay, but you were as determined as you ever were.
“i’m a grown woman, mark. i can run down the block by myself.” you turned around in his arms, reaching for your keychain next to his head on the wall, hanging by a hook.
“it’s dangerous out there. wouldn’t want my pretty girl getting hurt.” he slouched against the wall, still holding onto your hand as your whole body nearly made it out the door.
“good thing spiderman will be there to save me from any danger.” you teased him before slamming the door in his face, preventing him from getting anymore words out. not that he could form any from your statement anyway.
as you made your way through the isles of the tiny convenience store down the block from your place, you began to notice a dark figure popping into your vision.
a man decked out in all black and wearing a dark baseball cap pulled down just enough to hide his eyes followed your trail through the store.
he just coincidentally needs the same things, plus it’s freezing outside. that’s why he’s covered up so much, you thought. you can't say much about covering up with your giant black puffer jacket nearly swallowing you whole.
as your shopping trip continued, you couldn’t help but notice the figure not picking up a single item they inspected.
how weird, you thought.
“have a nice night!” the sweet cashier bid you goodbye before you quickly made your way out of the store.
as you exited the glass doors, the figure from earlier greeted you outside. your steps increased in speed as you noticed the figure continuing to follow your path.
you: mark could you meet me outside
you: creepy dude won’t stop following me
you: dude answer the phone
you: mark come on this is serious
you huffed, knowing the figure was still following you from a distance and aggravated by mark ignoring your texts.
“what’s a pretty girl like you doing out here alone at night?” the figure spoke from your side, somehow managing to come up beside you without you noticing.
you stayed silent, pretending to be interested in the cement beneath your feet.
“hey! i’m talking to you!” the voice barked, noticeably irritated by your lack of interest. “i asked you a question, bitch!” a hand grabbed your wrist tightly, stopping you in your tracks.
thinking it was the figure, your body froze seeing spiderman right in front of you. stumbling back, you watched your hero step in and fight off the creepy man, knocking him over before webbing him to the alley wall ahead.
“try and speak to her again, and you’ll get much worse than a few webs on you.” the familiar voice of your boyfriend came out deep and threatening, making your breath hitch. you had never heard him speak like that.
while the bum continued to try and yell through the webs plastered over his mouth, spiderman turned to check on you.
“everything all right? he didn’t touch you or hurt you, babe- i mean, mam?” the fumbling of words made you laugh slightly, knowing the dork under the mask.
“i’m all right, thanks to you, spiderman.” you swooned, so caught up with the fact that your own boyfriend was spiderman and that he had practically beaten and webbed a man to a wall for you.
“what could i ever do to repay you?” you asked, trying not to trip over your own feet at the way the suit hugged mark’s muscle so well. more than any t-shirt ever could.
“just doing my job, as always.” spiderman leaned his body against the wall smoothly, resting his head against his fist. you two stood there in a few seconds of silence, both not knowing what to do.
“you better get headed home; it’s getting late.” he coughed, finally breaking out of his daze.
“no swinging around the city for me?” you asked, pretty disappointed that your boyfriend was about to make you walk home alone. “no can do, web swinging with lovely ladies is a daytime activity only; i wouldn’t want anyone to miss it.” he pulled his body from the wall, shooting up a web to hang from a sign above your heads.
“what a shame. guess you’ll just have to give me a show of the city another day," you replied, watching as mark swung his legs over the sign to hang upside down effortlessly.
definitely trying to impress me, you thought.
“i can see what i can do.” he crossed his arms over his chest before you stepped forward on your tiptoes, placing your hand on his cheek, making him short circuit.
“thanks again, spiderman.” you spoke, leaning into him to place a quick kiss on his mask-covered cheek.
“of-of course. any day, mam,” his voice cracked at your actions, making you laugh as you turned away to walk home.
mark hung in bliss before realizing he was supposed to be at your place, not saving your life in a spidey suit.
you rushed through the door, dropping your bag on the ground and making a beeline to your room. the only place with a window mark could slide through without getting caught.
you swung open your door to reveal a maskless spiderman half way through your bedroom window, eyes wide, body frozen.
you froze in shock, almost surprised that your plan had finally worked. "gotcha," you smiled, leaning against your door frame satisfied.
“uh…” mark scrambled, attempting to put his mask back on as if it would make you forget seeing his face entirely. as he tripped and tumbled around your room, you slowly made you way behind him.
“mark,” you began, attempting to get him to calm down. “baby,” you turned him slowly as he finally got his mask back on. “mark? who’s mark? that your boyfriend or something?” he attempted to deepen his voice to throw you off.
he realized this was unsurprisingly unsuccessful, noticing the smirk that continued to show on your face. “you know him, don’t you, spiderman? he’s the boy who just kicked ass and saved my life less than ten minutes ago.” you said, gently pulling off his mask to reveal your boyfriend’s face.
he stared at you, not knowing how you felt. “look, i can explain this all,” he nervously let out as he looked anywhere but your eyes.
before he could explain, you kissed him softly, wanting to ease his worry and express your gratitude. he saved your life after all, and not just by being spiderman.
“i’m not mad, not at all.” you looked into his eyes, noticing how at ease he seemed to be at the relief of your words.
“i’m so sorry i didn’t tell you sooner. i was so scared you wouldn’t want to be with me or be scared of me,” he ranted, trying to make you see his side in case you had lied and were even the littlest bit mad at him. he hated when you were mad at him more than anything.
“why would i not want to be with you? i love you, mark, so much, it’s crazy.” you pulled his face into your hands in disbelief at his words. “and plus, how could i be scared of such a handsome, strong, crime-fighting superhero who so happens to double as my boyfriend. if anything, people should fear me,” you joked, ripping a laugh from his lips.
“how long have you known?” he asked, pulling you closer by your waist. biting your lip, you looked down, trying to hold back your laugh. “remember when you borrowed my notes for class and forgot to give them back?"
you didn’t even have to finish, seeing the realization wash over his face as the words fell from your lips.
“yeah, maybe putting your suit in your backpack wasn’t the best place.” you both laughed at the situation at hand; mark was completely dumbfounded.
“so that’s why you talked such shit about me and bought that stupid shirt!” he continued to put together the pieces, gripping your waist tighter as he laughed at his own stupidity.
"ding, ding, ding!” you replied, pulling away slightly to take in his whole look, still not being used to see him like this up close. “yeah, definitely need to see you in this more often now."
mark flushed, turning into putty in your presence. your eyes traveled all over the intricate details and meshing of the suit. how it hugged his body and made him look completely unreal.
“do a little spin for me, doll.” you teased, wanting to ease up all the pent-up emotions still hanging in the air. mark giggled at your stupid comment but did as you asked nonetheless, turning slowly for you.
turning completely to the back, not a second went by before mark felt a harsh slap on his skin. “fuck baby! what was that for?” he whined, reaching down to rub the irritated spot.
"sorry, i couldn’t help myself when you have an ass like that, mark lee.” you smiled at his pained expression, putting your arms back to lean against your vanity, still ogling at your boyfriend’s physique.
“guess i really do need to wear this more around you.” he placed his hands on either side of you, trapping you beneath him.
“maybe the story time can wait till later.” you breathed before his lips pressed themselves to yours.
“i love you so much, my girl."
“i love you too, spidey boy.”
now you had mark completely to yourself, spiderman and all with no secrets left to hide.
