I am as We are (A Poem)
I am a High Priestess of Hecate. I am the necromancer who heals, the one who leads you to the other side through dreams. I am a guide to those who are lost, whether they choose to listen or not, I am both light and dark.
I am who see's the future, on numerous timelines, I am one of few who walks between this world and the next and above. It's written in the cards.
I am no longer afraid of my gifts, of my purpose. I am both protector and protected. I am a Princess of the darkness but also of the light. I am the balance. Just as she is.
You cannot hurt me because I am immortal, we are immortal. Eyes open, none unable to get past (spirit or human) all the curses turn to dust before they hit.
I am the one who can turn bones back to life. I am not afraid of falling I have already. I am not afraid of the past anymore because it no longer exists.
We have Ancestors older then you. We are powerful and soon we all will be awoken, those that truly are of both the shadow and the light.
The darkness is not wholy "evil" and the light is not wholy "good" they just are, as is nature.
It is all one, do not seek oneness, just seek to be better than you were before. Break generational trauma, heal past lives but never forget you are not perfect as that does not exist. We are always learning.
We are all just beings. Some are more ascended then others, but no more or less then others.
Trust in yourself, your guides and your own inner truth. It will never steer you wrong, only your doubt can.
Be more aligned and find your true path, as I have. It is a battle but nothing that is meant to be is ever easy.

Do you think the OG production of Elisabeth das musical is too camp?I was watching it for the first time yesterday, and NGL I thought alot of the sets, costume, blocking with a bit overthe top.Is there a reason for that?Also what's up with the vines on everyone's clothes?
I've never gotten the feeling that it's camp at all. I love that there's multiple big set pieces, but I personally really don't like minimalist set design so. We just have different opinions. I don't think there's some deeper reason as to why the sets are so extravagant other than they were just trying to do nice, interesting set design and I assume the ornate-ness to everything is due to it being about an Empress. And to me so many of the set pieces add depth to the story, for example Death's carriage folding out into Rudolf's bedroom being for shadowing to what's going to happen to Rudolf.
There is actually a reason for the vines on the majority of character's costumes. The entire musical is a recounting of events for Lucheni's trial in the underworld. Everyone who has vines is part of this re-telling, you could see that as them all already being dead and forced to reenact their lives, being controlled, etc. Lucheni doesn't have vines on his clothing as he exists outside of this retelling, being the narrator and constantly breaking the forth wall. Der Tod also has no vines on his clothing either.

Other Emperors AU — Ninjago
So. The beloved Ice Emperor. The corrupting potential of the Staff of Forbidden Spinjitzu + Amnesia + Vex.
Now what if the Ice Emperor came in other flavours?
That’s right, introducing the Other Emperors AU, a collection of different “What ifs” for if other people had been zapped with the staff by Aspheera!
Different Versions:
Earth Emperor / King of the Underworld = Cole
Lightning Emperor / Thunder God / Lightning Striker = Jay
Fire Emperor / Western Wildfire / Fire Maker = Kai
Energy Emperor / Lord of Energy / Luh-Lord = Lloyd
Water Empress / Commander of the Sea / Wrath of the Waves = Nya
Empress of Technology / Automated Empress / Overseer / The Technodrome = Pixal
Creation Emperor / Second Spinjitzu Master / The Creator = Wu
Not all of them are fleshed out (honestly most just have… one or two minor ideas, but I’ll gladly bounce ideas back and forth with people in Reblogs, comments, and/or asks!), but here’s what I’ve got—
Earth Emperor / King of the Underworld
- Got zapped into the Neverrealm instead and lost his memories from a concussion in the fight
- Vex finds him and the staff and convinces him to take it
- He raises/sinks the Earth to create a stone dome over the realm and make it a cavern of tunnels; some call him the King of the Underworld (Hades vibes) for it and he hates it even if he can’t remember why (haha forgotten Skulkin memories)
- Master of the Mountain mixed with ancient mythology vibes
- His hair grows out and becomes partially lava because come on that look just is so cool on him ; his armour is also formed of obsidian/onyx and crystals
- Difficult to anger (a very patient emperor that listens to his people whenever Vex doesn’t interfere) but if you do (usually on Vex’s manipulation) OH BOY you’re in for it now
- Built a dangerous labyrinth King-Minos-style complete with a stone minotaur in the centre that he sends prisoners/people Vex tricks him into thinking are enemies
- Is very fascinated by Kai’s fire (and Jay’s lightning) because the only light source in the caverns are glowing crystals formed from his powers or special regulated flint/coal-based fires
- He keeps Kai with him when the Ninja arrive and banish the rest to the labyrinth to “prove themselves” on Vex’s manipulation (possibly specifically dropping Jay in the minotaur room as a sacrifice because Jay made a menace of himself in the throne room)
- The Ninja make it through the traps because they’re all kinda Cole-themed (like one involves the Triple Tiger Sashay) and arrive back at the throne room after defeating the stone minotaur, much to Cole/Vex’s astonishment/ire respectively
- Cole realizes the Ninja are telling the truth and that Vex has been lying to him and ends up dropping the staff after reverting the Neverrealm back to its original state
Lightning Emperor / Thunder God / Lightning Strike
- Realizes Zane’s vision (yeah, Jay is the only person who knew Zane had a vision and he DISMISSED IT, hecking come on) is about to come true and shoves Zane out of the way of Aspheera’s shot
- Cracked his head on a rock falling through the portal and has zero memories <3 Should he be dead? Probably. But he’s Jay, so he survives, especially with his boosted element lashing out
- Vex finds him and is so confused over the lightning appearance but realizes he can use it
- Skybound / Lightning Ruins parallels with Jay ripping up chunks of ground and making floating magnetized islands
- Has a very ominous cult following Vex leads because its Jay, of course it would happen, its not the first time
- Is kinda revered more as a ‘godly figure’ than an emperor (Vex uses his status to make orders in Jay’s name)
- Kinda unhinged, but you can blame the staff + Vex + the concussion and blood loss
- Fascinated by Cole because he absorbs/grounds lightning fine ; also fascinated by Zane who is a walking metal lightning rod
- Constantly zapping around
Fire Emperor / Western Wildfire / Fire Maker
- Lost his powers to Aspheera, battled her with the second staff, and got his butt yeeted to the Never Realm- that’s rough, buddy
- Gets his well-deserved focus season
- He really means well and just wants to keep his people safe, but unfortunately it comes across as overly possessive and tyrannical
- Older brothers so hard that he comes across as evil/possessive and aggressive when he’s trying to be caring and protective
- Don’t have much for him because the fandom already has insanely cool Fire Emperor AUs
Energy Emperor / Lord of Energy / Luh-Lord
- So many Lord Garmadon parallels
- ONI-DRAGON LLOYD ONI-DRAGON LLOYD
- Also a surprising amount of Morro parallels about making his own destiny
- So, so traumatized and got corrupted simply for wanting to take his fate into his own hands for once
- Punts Vex out of the castle because he’s had enough of people telling him what to do
- Kinda goes back to S1 Lloyd because this kid just wants his childhood back
- Goes from “scary emperor who’s going to execute you” to “excited little kid” the second he sees his siblings
- Taking the staff back hurts because Lloyd isn’t mad, he’s just super sad and confused and pleads with them not to do it
Water Empress / Commander of the Sea / Wrath of the Waves
- The Never Realm just became the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
- All the ice and snow melts into an ocean with islands
- Nya builds a big ol’ palace that’s both above and below the water’s surface
- Seabound parallels in terms of architecture (lots of accidental Wojira foreshadowing)
- So. Much. Rage. You anger Nya, you’re done for.
- The staff + her element amplified the ocean’s whispers and she’s kinda merged with the sea but not fully, her memories are a bit scattered
- Was going to take on Vex as an advisor because he convinced her she knew him before her memories got lost/scattered, but then her memories associate him with Krux, and she kicks him onto a lone island
- Her brothers have to face the ocean to get to her. They hate it, but they do it anyway
Empress of Technology / Automated Empress / Overseer / The Technodrome
- Pixal gets to sacrifice herself for Zane
- While the staff doesn’t amplify powers for her, she still gets boosted strength, speed, smarts, etc., her processor running at 300x proficiency
- Is able to get the mech up and running— she DID build it, after all
- Still loses her memories from Vex’s interference, somewhat reverts to S3 Pixal
- Makes the entire realm “efficient” and rapidly revolutionizes technology
- Easily one of the scariest rulers because of how good she is at it
- Took Vex on as an Advisor because of his knowledge of the realm, then fired him once she was done.
“But you— you cannot FIRE me! I am your loyal, most trusted advisor—”
“And you are no longer necessary. There is more important matters to attend to.”
- It’s very difficult to dismantle her empire
Creation Emperor / Second Spinjitzu Master / The Creator
- Aspheera blasts her intended target
- Wu is sent to the Never Realm with the other staff
- The Ninja are devastated because they just lost their Sensei AGAIN just after getting him back
- Wu refuses to use the staff at first but then… well, he starts getting desperate to return. He misses his family. And his essence— creation— could be used to help the people of this realm. So he uses it once or twice, sparingly, to help the villages, to help travellers— and slowly gets more and more addicted. Why does this realm hurt the people in it? If his essence is one of creation, couldn’t he use it to… reform this realm into something more peaceful? More habitable? Remake it in his own image? Correct all the mistakes he’s made, start again, start better—
- FSM and Pilots-S2 Garmadon parallels
- His students manage to get into the Never Realm only to find it “prosperous” and “thriving”
- Bonus if there are copies of them, but the way Wu sees them— uncanny valley alert
- EXTRA bonus if there’s a fake Morro that’s based on how he was as a student / if he’d lived , and a fake Garmadon cured of venom and evil
- Breaking their Sensei out of this illusion of a perfect world really hurts
- Wu is traumatized by all his mistakes and they get acknowledged in this AU whether he wants them to be or not <3

INFO / PLACES OF INTEREST
Sparia (Spare-ee-uh) - Your homeland, a highly traditional kingdom. Ruled by a monarch, with you as the heir to the throne. Magic is expected to be used only in ceremonial settings, and most citizens have never left the island. This is your old home.
Sacred Sea - A sea of legend, the Sacred Sea has perpetually calm waters. Rumor has it that when the waves stir up, disaster is about to befall the neighboring lands.
Solador - Notable locations: Dawnholde Institute for the Arcane. The land is constantly under a solar eclipse for an unknown reason. Very little flora can grow here.
Ormrgrad (Or-mer-grad) - Home to many dragonkin and ruled by the Emperor and Empress. The Emperor presides over the north, and the Empress, the south. Notable locations: Ormrgrad City, the capital. On the border of the north and south regions. Caidrith was born in the city to the royal family.
Northern Ormrgrad - Snowy and mountainous, few dragonkin make their home here, but the ones who do are very resilient. Many true dragons live in the far north.
Southern Ormrgrad - The desert region of Ormrgrad. Most dragonkin live here, as well as ground-dwelling dragons. Oases with settlements are scattered throughout.
Leodosan Wilds (Leo-doe-san) - A sparsely inhabited area with few cities, the Leodosan Wilds are home to most earth and water elementals. The few fae that reside outside the Fae Wilds are mainly benevolent, however, the farther south you travel, the more hostile the inhabitants become. Cere lived here prior to coming to Dawnholde.
Entrance to the Hells - The cave that leads to the first layer of the Hells. Many lesser infernals live in the tunnel network.
Fae Wilds - Birthplace of all fae creatures, though not all choose to stay there. The land is brimming with magic and the capital city is Islahaer.
Islahaer (Ee-la-hair) - The capital of the Fae Wilds. Many elves also live here, in addition to the few remaining humans from the Lost City of Echoport. Desily hails from here.
The Tainted Lands - Notable Locations: The Lost City of Echoport. An old, plague-ridden human kingdom. Few creatures live here now, and most of those who do are in constant quarantine. Rycharde was training to be a knight before the city closed its gates.
Lake of Lucidity - The lake in which all rivers in the area flow to.
Defiant Deep - The northern sea, filled with ancient monsters and deep sea merfolk. Few ships that set sail here reach their destination.
Ocean of Benevolence - Notable Locations: Merdae (Mer-day). The warmer, southern ocean that many civilized merfolk call home. Includes the royal capital, Merdae. Most merfolk in the capital are very rich, but the farther away from the capital they live, the less they have. Merrick comes from a small town 10 miles from the city.
NOT ON THE MAP
Aiszuth (Ice-zooth) - A run-of-the-mill human city with a thriving criminal underworld. The governor may appear to maintain power, but the true power belongs to the necromancers of the Undercity. Finch comes from the most renowned lineage of necromancers.

Hello! I'm not sure if your request is open, but if it is, would you be willing to do a one-shot/headcanon for Qin Shi Huang? I love this man so much and there aren't enough out there to fuel my hunger anymore;;;;
The plot I had in mind is that while historically it is written that Qin never chosen an official Empress, he had a bunch of consorts. And since everyone dead or alive is present to witness Ragnarok, after Qin's fight /all healed up, all his consorts came to see him. What would Qin/his consorts reaction be if a portal suddenly opens up and out comes Qin's future Empress S/O? Sorry if this is weird lol and thank you so much if you decide to do it ^^

Yet the Emperor hasn't chosen an empress to reign by his side but Qin has come back from the Death
His fight with Hades the God of Underworld was tough fight , after this fight Qin has lost an arm and wasn't ready to fight without an arm . So he decided to retire himself.
But yet back to the Consorts and Qin . The consorts kept praising him day and night. The emperor who had enought , just litteraly ran away to which the consorts yelled "My king where are you going" and started to ran after him.
Qin hid and locked himself in a room , it was the first room he found but them a loud noise was heard "Eeek!" Then somebody fell , who surprised Qin . He took a quick look and saw something he wasn't prepared to see .
A beautiful young woman , with a beautiful fav/col chinese dress and also her h/c hair was decorated with golden pins . She was beautiful "Where am i?" As she opened her eyes "Darling is that you?" She spoke , Qin looked if there was any other person when she means by Darling . When he looked back at you "Me?" He asked
As you approach him , rubbing his cheek to which he tooked a step back before his back hurt the door but then when he looked in the e/c of the woman , he kinda felt rassured"Of course dear , why are you asking such a silly question when you know the truth" she spoke , "Forgive me beautiful lady , but do i know you?" Qin Shi Huang asked . Her hand stopped rubbing Qin's cheek .
The h/c lady eyes were wide open ," how could is this possible!?" she thought then an idea popped up in her mind . "Forgive me for my insolance , but where are we ? And in which timeline are we ?" She asked as Qin answered " Apologize accepted , to answer to your question . Beautiful Lady we are in the Ragnarok , in XXXX year "(idk which year are we in Valhalla)
The e/c lady thought and thought again until she said out loud . "Then you must be The Qin Shi Huang from the past ! " she exclaimed as Qin tilted his head , looking at her thinking about what in the world she was talking about . She took his hands as she said "My names is Y/n L/n , i was an assasin nor i wasn't sent here to annihilate you. I am.... a couple of year after the Ragnarok to which you , humankind won" she told the tall brunette man "Well Y/n would you be kind to do me a favor?" Qin asked
"Yes my king?" Y/n answered "Could you please act as if you were my promised future empress" Qin asked as you blushed madly remembering it was the same idea that Qin used to seduce before you two officially married
"Soo what do you think beautiful lady , are you ready to help me~?" Qin whispered in your ear making you flinch "Y-Ye-Yes my Lord ! I am willing to he-help you " .
Minutes later
Qin came with the h/c later , the consorts of the emperor looked at the two persons with disgust , as one of them asked out of anger "My lord who is she ? And why is that filthy woman , is with you !" She came , out of the group of consorts , her name was Chun Ji and she couldnt accept the fact that Y/n was near the empreor
Y/n hid behind Qin , fearing of what might happen "This dear woman behind me isnt filthy , she , this darling will be my future empress !" Qin beamed finally happy that his consorts would stop praising him as Chun Ji 's veins popped up in her head "Oh really , if you two are gonna be married , just prove it?" She snarled . As Qin took ur hand and brought in front of everybody and kissed you passionately .
Chun Ji saw red as she went with the consorts , leaving the empreor and the future empress alone . Qin stopped kissing you as you breath heavily "Mm feelin okay , milady?" Qin asked "I'm alright , just feelin happy that its already done" y/n answered
"Hey beautiful lady!" Qin called as y/n answered "Where are you coming from ?" "I am from village/name , not so far from your castle " . Qin grinned "But, im coming from another timeline..." Y/n answered as Qin curiosity perked up "Another timeline?" "Yes where after the Ragnarok , you chose an empress to reign by your side" Y/n spoke as Qin asked "And this empress is you?" Y/n blushed madly as she came towards the empreor and gave a quick kiss to Qin before a portal opened
Y/n walked throught the portal , saying goodbye to the empreor then the portal vanished
Then Qin smirked knowing that his Future empress , lived in village/name and after the Ragnarok , he will search for her

How I would Fix Prythian
Things I will cover in this post below the cut:
Powers of the High Lords/Court Design.
Political System.
Religion and it's intergration.
Pop Culture.
So basically this is how I would have designed Prythian (Or fixed it if SJM had asked me).
This is a special interest of mine, so under the cut.
Powers of the High Lords/Court Design:
This also falls under the thing of how the Courts are designed, so I smushed them together
Basically, According to the books, the powers of fire are in Autumn, the powers of water is in Summer, and so on. However, this makes no sense logically.
Summer is, quite notably, historically a very hot season. In fact, there are theories that Persephone is actually in the Underworld during Summer because during the summer in Greece, nothing could grow. Because it was so fucking hot. Following this logic, Summer should have Fire Powers. It should be a relative desert, and be incredibly warm constantly.
Autumn is a very windy season. Very dry, pretty cold but not super cold. This season shoudl be pretty colors, lots of forests with either Evergreen Trees or lots of colored trees that flutter around while falling. The powers of this court should be wind, obviously.
Spring is a wet Season. It is literally known for being rainy, it is a season of rebirth and change. Spring, I think, was well designed. However, it had a very noticeable lack of rain and rain related celebrations. Maybe it rains on Calanmai, or some other event. Just something interesting. They should also have a lot of flowers, but buds and fresh flowers. There should be a lot more bees as well. I think bees should be more relevant in Spring. Anyway, Spring should have Water powers and powers of healing.
The rest seem pretty good all things considered, so I'll leave them be (for now.)

Political System:
*crying* the political system in Acotar makes no fucking sense. It's so goddamn discordinated. No one works together. There is no fucking hierarchy. The laws seem arbitrary and made up. I want to throw up even trying to figure out what's happening.
So, first up I'm going to add in an agreement. Think NATO. Except PTO for Prythian Treaty Organization instead. Anyway, they all have an agreement.
And then, of course, within each court, There's the High Lords and Lady of [Court Name] on the sameish level, same idea of King and Queen, or Queen and Prince, Emperor and Empress, etc. Under that are the average Lords, each in charge of ruling part of the Court. Then there's district people, which I can't be bothered to remember the name of.
Of course, the High Lord/Lady of [Court] is still in charge and, like we see Tamlin do, are deeply involved. It's just hard to do that all the time.
The Courts don't get involved with each other too much but they do help each other in times of need.

Religion and it's Integration:
Religion just feels like it should play a bigger part in the series. Or at least in the culture.
I can't say much about this, I'd just probably include, like, more rules. Mother/Cauldron doesn't really seem to involve many rules. Like, nothing to prove devotion, or a desire to do good. No prayers. Basically just references.
So I just feel she should add that. Maybe a religious dress or some cool ass holidays.
That's it.

Pop Culture:
The most infuriating and fake thing is that Prythian has no pop culture or fiction books, or anything else similar. There's like, music. And that's it.
Now, I would understand if Fae couldn't lie, or create fiction, such as in An Enchantment of Ravens. But no, one of the important things we learn is they can, do, and will lie.
So why don't they have any books, or fiction, or anything.
It makes no sense. I would add in popular actors in plays, popular books, etc. Just for fun. Or to add anything.
That's it. Not a lot of examples I can give.

Propaganda Under the Cut:
Sleeping Beauty:
She can sleep on command, and used it to great effect during the Royal Prison Princess Riot Thing that happened in Shrek 3. She has a brief instance of (presumably) non-voluntary sleepiness in a previous movie, but we love ourselves a girl who weaponises her so-called curse! (Also, she's so pretty in entirely non-fairytale-standard ways! Freckles (and a couple moles), round face, straight light/medium brown hair, and, though it's a bit hard to tell with her empress waistline dress, we can tell she's definitely got some meat on her bones! Solid, but in a subtle way. Plus, just look at her confident grin, that sassy pose, and her "I Dare You" little chin tilt - augh! I love her!!!!!)
She used her sleepiness to her advantage to trip up guards by passing tf out in front of them. She can also kick ass. We love a baddie
Jing Beiyuan:
Bestie has gone thru so much in his previous lives and in his seventh life he just wants to nap and vibe (and maybe pet the venomous sable kept by his next door neighbor). When someone tries to chew him out he claims to have a disease that can make a person sleep for 60+ years.
In general he's so character. He commits crimes. His best friend is a guy who helped kill him in his first life. It took getting murdered by his soulmate 5 times for Beiyuan to fall out of love with the man. Snakes love him. He was a bug once. His current boo was a Chinese analogue of the Grim Reaper in past life. He is stunningly beautiful but it only becomes apparent in the second book in the series which is not from his POV. He speaks nonsense fluently. He's so much <3
The sleepiest political intrigue protagonist I have ever seen. He canonically slept for 63 years in front of the Three Life Rock in the underworld, after he wanted to just "close his eyes" for a bit. When he is reincarnated, he spends most of his time napping. He's found in the courtyard, in his room, in his study, anywhere in his house, he can be found napping. His friend becomes so concerned about this that he has a physician check him. But he's not ill, just sleepy! Nothing wrong with him just a chronic case of Want To Nap
He's lived several lives and died in horrible ways in his previous ones so in the current one he likes to just chill. He sleeps a lot and only gets involved in the plot after his future husband drags him into it and honestly? Valid. Let my man rest.

The first lunar eclipse in Taurus on November 19 2021 marked the start of "Persephone's Abduction". On October 28 2023 the day of the last lunar eclipse in Taurus, she will finally be crowned the Underworld's powerful Empress.
As a collective, we've been going through our own descend in the Underworld. We were thrusted into it by harsh Hades, but along the way we learnt (and continue to learn) that some obstacles are the way to our freedom. Unfortunate events turn into our fortune.
Dark and broody Hades fell in love with beautiful and innocent Persephone. She was young, fresh and saw beauty in everything. He kept watching her for months, lurking in her shadows and feeding off her energy. He placed a flower as delicate as her on the green grass, beneath her feet and as she bend down to pluck from the earth's soil his chariot emerged from the earth's core. Persephone was taken away from the safety of her mother's womb. She lost her innocence* but learnt to love Hades and found out that through that sacrifice she would gain her power. What was a low rank goddess is now the Queen Of The Underworld. By eating 6 seeds from pomegranate, the fruit of fertility and wisdom, she now had to see the truth and she had to live in the Underworld for 6 months per year.
Life comes in seasons. Without the darkness there wouldn't be the light. Everything comes in polarity and relation to something else.
*This is a myth set in a different timeline. I used the phrase lightly and I obviously condemn this beastly act of violence. Thank you for coming in here, this will always be a safe place for people who have suffered.
