Won’t You Be My Neighbor?
Part 9

“I’ll give this to your dad, and he can sign it for you,” Y/N said as she took the slip of paper from Max while he sat in one of the barstools at her kitchen island. It was another permission slip for something, and he’d asked Y/N to sign it as he’d pulled it out of his backpack.
“Can’t you just sign it?” Max asked her.
“I would, honey,” she replied. “But only moms or dads are supposed to do that.”
“You’re kind of like our mom,” he responded without missing a beat.
Upon hearing that, Y/N had to turn away from him, sudden tears nearly escaping her eyes as she digested the incredibly sweet and innocent way he’d said that, not realizing it was such a weighted statement. The fact that Max saw her that way was unbelievably touching and also a little shocking.
Collecting herself, Y/N turned back around.
“I’ll make sure your dad signs it, ok?” she said to him.
“Ok,” he agreed, sliding off the stool and heading outside.
Now alone, Y/N’s thoughts traveled to Emmett. She hadn’t been able to stop thinking about their evening together at her house, or their flirtatious exchange several days later, but since then, Emmett hadn’t taken any action or said anything else to her to further hint that he was in fact interested in her that way. He wasn’t acting cold, per se, but whatever had come out during those times, he’d clearly tucked it back away, and she wondered why.
Had he simply gotten caught up in the moment, but wasn’t actually feeling what she was feeling? Or maybe he had been interested, but after further consideration, realized that she wasn’t what he wanted. She guessed that that was likely the case, and she felt the familiar pain of rejection and practiced the trademark self-criticism she put herself through often.
She reprimanded herself, telling herself that she shouldn’t be so surprised, but it didn’t make the sting any less painful. She had thought that she and Emmett were maybe going somewhere, that their connection was palpable and that maybe she could have with him what she’d always wanted.
But then again, maybe it was for the best, anyways, she thought. As unbelievably touching as it was, it could be a problem if Max and Henry were starting to see her as a mother figure, because she and Emmett weren’t in a relationship, and she didn’t want them feeling confused or for Emmett to feel like she was overstepping in any way.
Before she could give it anymore thought, her phone dinged, and she saw that she had a text message from Stacy.
Hey girl, any chance you’re interested in a set up? I know this guy from work who I think you’d hit it off with. He wants to take you out.
Y/N hesitated for a moment, surprised by the idea. Why did it feel like some sort of betrayal to Emmett if she said yes to Stacy’s offer? But then, she reminded herself that she and Emmett weren’t actually involved in any way, and since Emmett obviously wasn’t interested, why shouldn’t she try and move on? Deep down, she knew the date wouldn’t be anything that would develop – reciprocated or not, she had feelings for Emmett. But, it couldn’t hurt to try and distract herself while she worked to make those feelings go away. Before she could talk herself out of it, she sent a response to Stacy.
•.•.•.•.•
“So, what’s the latest story with you and Y/N? Anything happen there yet?”
Stacy was leaning against the bench at Emmett’s shop as she waited for him to finish the task he was currently working on. She’d dropped by to bring him something to eat during her lunch hour, something she occasionally did in order to give them a chance to catch up. As he heard her question, Emmett stopped what he was doing and looked over at her.
“Is that the real reason you came by? To stick your nose in my business?” he asked.
“I’m just trying to understand why you haven’t made a move there yet,” Stacy replied. “With this little arrangement you have, you guys are practically functioning like a couple anyways. Why not just add in the sex and make it official?”
Emmett shot her a look.
“If you think I’m going to talk to you about my sex life, you’re sorely mistaken.”
Stacy snorted.
“We’re talking about you finally having a sex life again,” she retorted. “And from the chemistry I’ve picked up on between you and Y/N, it looks like it could be damn good.”
Emmett shot her another look.
“Well, thanks for dropping by,” he said as he pointed to the door.
“Oh, come on!” Stacy said. “I’m just trying to understand why you won’t do anything about it. You clearly have feelings for her. I can tell whenever you talk about what the boys have been up to with her. And she obviously feels the same – I see it every time I run into her.”
“How much do I need to pay you for you to let this go?” Emmett asked as he washed his hands at the sink beside the counter.
“I can’t be bought off,” Stacy replied.
After moving over to the bench and leaning against it next to Stacy, Emmett crossed his arms and let out a deep breath.
“She’s fragile,” he said. “She’s been hurt and treated poorly, and it clearly still affects her. I don’t know that she’s ready for another relationship, or whatever.”
It was true. After their most recent encounters, Emmett couldn’t get Y/N off his mind. But after he’d had more time to think about it, he realized that maybe she was still too raw from her previous relationship. She still could get so defensive, and although that didn’t bother him, now that he understood why, maybe it was a sign that she wasn’t ready for anything, that she still needed more time.
“You of all people should know that self-doubt is something that’s not easy to shake,” Stacy replied. “But that doesn’t mean that someone isn’t open and available for a connection. And you two clearly have that.”
Emmett scrubbed his hand over his jaw.
“I don’t want her to do anything she’s not ready to do,” he said.
Stacy turned and looked at him.
“I think you’re underestimating her,” she said. “And you both deserve to be happy.”
After a few moments of silence, Emmett turned and grabbed the bag of food Stacy had brought with her off the bench. After looking inside, he spoke.
“What would make me happy is if you could for once get the food order right.”
•.•.•.•.•
Leaving Emmett’s shop, Stacy paused before starting her car in order to send Y/N a message. If Emmett wasn’t going to make things happen, then she’d have to step in. Of course, she admired his desire to be respectful of Y/N and not want to pressure her, but he also could be so sure that he had things figured out, when in fact, he was wrong. She also knew that Y/N had a habit of trying to distract herself when things weren’t going great – she remembered Y/N telling her about all the ridiculous hobbies she tried to pick up after she first got divorced. She was fairly certain Y/N would agree to a blind date to try and forget about Emmett, and it would be just enough for Emmett to get jealous enough to do something. Smiling to herself, Stacy sent Y/N a message, and her smile grew bigger as she read Y/N’s response.
Sure, I’m game. When and where?

A week later, Y/N was busy going over a bunch of lists of picnic supplies, potluck sign-ups, and RSVPs. The neighborhood’s annual block party was that weekend, and she had volunteered to help organize it, along with several of the other neighbors. It was yet another distraction from Emmett, which she welcomed when they’d asked her if she wanted to help.
Things between them were still friendly and positive, but they hadn’t had any more intimate interactions since the previous couple weeks. She tried not to dwell on it as she picked up her phone and began calling everyone who hadn’t yet RSVPd for the block party. Distraction was the name of the game, and if that meant figuring out how many picnic tables they’d need and how much potato salad it would take to feed 80 people, then dammit, she’d do it.
•.•.•.•.•
The day of the block party came, and everything had been going off without a hitch. Y/N and some of the other neighbors had been dashing around to make sure that everything was taken care of, and when things had finally settled after the first couple of hours and everything was flowing nicely, she finally had a chance to just relax and enjoy the company of everyone.
She and Emmett had met eyes a few times throughout the party, but they had yet to actually connect, and maybe that was for the best. She shouldn’t try to insert herself more than was natural if he wasn’t feeling what she was.
God, he made it hard, though. He was his signature charming self as she watched him talking and laughing with neighbors while also occasionally checking on Henry and Max as they ran around and played. He got roped into a game of Dads vs. Kids kickball, but it was the slow dance he was forced into with a 90-year-old neighbor lady when the music started that made Y/N unable to stop grinning. She gave him a sympathetic smile when he looked up and their eyes met across the sidewalk, and when he shrugged his shoulders at her helplessly, Y/N laughed before shaking her head and resuming her conversation at the picnic table.
Finally escaping the arms of his elderly neighbor, Emmett made his way back to the table he’d been sitting at with several other guys from the neighborhood and resumed talking. But shortly, he was distracted as he picked up his drink and saw Y/N move to another table out of the corner of his eye. She began chatting with the women at the table, and he watched her warmly smile at the others and laugh, her beautiful face glowing and her sweetness tangible. He had a hard time keeping himself from getting up and going to her.
She then shifted in her seat, and Emmett found himself unable to look away as another neighbor suddenly came up to Y/N and carefully passed her the bundled up baby she was holding in her arms. Her expression indescribable, Y/N’s entire focus shifted to the baby, and something stirred in Emmett as he watched her lovingly hold it as she kept talking to the mother. Suddenly, an image of Y/N – glowing and pregnant with his baby – entered his mind, and it took him a moment to get the picture out of his head.
Sensing someone watching her, Y/N turned her head and met Emmett’s eyes, and when she did, her heart skipped a beat as she met his smile with one of her own.
A little while later, as people were having dessert and the kids were running around the street with sparklers, Y/N grabbed a trash bag and began weaving among the tables as she collected empty soda cans and drink bottles. As she dropped a few into the bag, she suddenly heard Emmett behind her.
“Are you collecting those to use on me later?”
Smiling, Y/N turned around to face him, holding a bottle in her hand.
“Maybe,” she said, and then dramatically dropped the bottle into the bag. As it made a clinking sound, she smiled again. “Never hurts to stock up.”
Emmett smiled.
“I thought I’d finally gotten on your good side,” he teased her.
Regardless of the idea that he didn’t share her feelings, Y/N couldn’t help but to flirt back. He made it so irresistible, even if he didn’t mean anything behind it.
“Yeah, but I doubt you’ll stay there long,” she said.
Emmett was itching to grab her, but before either of them could say anything else, someone called Y/N’s name and told her they needed more napkins and plates for dessert.
“Here, make yourself useful,” Y/N said to Emmett as she passed him the trash bag. Then she gave him a final smile before heading towards her house.
Y/N ran inside her kitchen to grab more of the paper plates and napkins that had been stored at her house for the party. As she was moving around the kitchen, she heard her back door open and saw Stacy come inside as she looked up.
Stacy had come to the party with her own kids to join in on the fun, and she offered to help Y/N as she entered her kitchen. She had a little probing to do, and wanted to get confirmation straight from Y/N about her suspicions after witnessing what had just happened between her and Emmett.
“Oh, that’s ok, I’ve got it,” Y/N replied to her offer to help. “So how are you?”
“Good,” Stacy replied as she leaned against the island. “Really good. I’m so happy about you and Emmett, by the way.”
Y/N’s heart skipped a beat, and she abruptly lifted her head and looked at Stacy.
“What do you mean?” she asked, cocking her head. “What about us?”
“The two of you finally getting together,” Stacy prompted, waving her hand in the air for clarity. “Don’t worry, I’m not going to make a big deal of it; I can see that you’re keeping it quiet. But I’m so glad.”
Y/N shifted her weight to her other foot, then slowly shook her head. “Stacy, we’re not together,” she said.
“You’re not?”
“No.” Y/N shook her head again.
“Really? But you two…it seemed so obvious.”
“How so?”
“Well, just the way you behave around each other,” Stacy explained. “I noticed it a long time ago.” She smiled almost mischievously. “It’s subtle enough, but anyone looking closely can clearly see what’s between you two.”
Y/N blushed and shook her head.
“Since I started helping with the boys, Emmett and I have gotten to know each other better and, because of that, become closer. But friendship is all it is.”
She couldn’t disguise the disappointment on her face as she said that, which Stacy noticed.
“Well, you could have fooled me,” she replied. She then pushed herself off of the counter and folded her arms as she eyed Y/N quizzically.
“Can you honestly say that you don’t have feelings for him?” Stacy asked her.
Y/N drew in a breath and slowly exhaled. She looked distractedly at the countertop and mindlessly ruffled the paper napkins.
“Even if I did,” she said quietly. “I don’t think he feels the same way.”
“I wouldn’t be so sure,” Stacy replied. “He can be stubborn, is all.”
“Well, regardless, it’s a tricky situation,” Y/N said. “Even if he did feel the same way, which I don’t think he does, I don’t want to cause any confusion for Max and Henry.”
“They’d see that you and their dad care about each other,” Stacy countered. “What’s confusing about that?”
“I’m not their mother,” Y/N replied.
“You’re more of a mother to them than their actual mother ever was.”
Y/N frowned.
“I’m sure that’s not true,” she said.
Stacy stood up straighter, not addressing her previous statement any further.
“So, there’s nothing going on between you two?” she asked.
“No,” Y/N shook her head.
“Ok, so then do you still want to meet Sam? I told him you’re free next Friday. I think you guys will hit it off.”
“Yeah, sure,” Y/N replied. She tried to look excited.
“Great! I’ll tell him it’s on.”
Heading back outside, Stacy found Emmett at one of the tables gathering empty cans, and she spoke as she walked up beside him.
“Next Friday, you can plan on the boys being at my house after camp,” she said to him. “Y/N won’t be able to watch them if you have to work late, so they can come to my house.”
Emmett turned to her.
“What do you mean? How do you know that?”
“She’s got plans; she just told me.”
“With you?” Emmett asked.
“No,” Stacy shook her head. “She’s got a date. I set her up with this guy from my work and she agreed to go out with him.”
Upon hearing that, Emmett suddenly tensed.
“You did what?” he asked as he frowned.
“I asked her if she wanted to be set up with a guy from my job, and she said yes. I figured it was fine since you guys aren’t involved. If she’s ready to date, then what’s the harm?”
Emmett felt himself getting angry, which wasn’t a frequent occurrence. The idea of another guy taking Y/N out and getting cozy with her was not something he liked at all. Clearly, if she agreed to the date, she was open to a possible relationship, and whatever was between the two of them wasn’t enough to stop her from taking Stacy up on her offer. He glared at her.
“You need to learn to mind your own business,” he said. He then shoved the trash bag he was holding into her hands and headed toward Y/N’s house.
As Emmett made his way around the back of the house, he could hear Y/N moving around in her kitchen. As he opened the door and headed up the steps, she spoke.
“Hey, Stacy, can you grab these – oh, hi.”
Looking over her shoulder, she saw Emmett standing in the doorway, and he didn’t look happy.
“Is everything ok?” she asked him as she fully turned around.
Emmett stepped further into the kitchen, still looking at her.
“It sounds like it is for you,” he answered her.
“Huh?” she furrowed her brow.
“Stacy told me about your plans next Friday,” he said. “Didn’t think to check with me first?”
Y/N looked back at him confusedly.
“Ummm, I didn’t think it’d be a problem, since she offered to come by and get the boys and watch them at her place.”
“So, you thought you could just plan that without telling me?”
Y/N eyed him warily. They weren’t involved, so what made him think he had any say in anything she did?
“I didn’t think I needed your permission to make personal plans,” she said. “Especially when they have nothing to do with you.”
Emmett glared.
“You should have asked me first.”
At that, Y/N’s expression changed to one of annoyed disbelief, and she put her hands on her hips as she spoke again.
“Last I checked, you’re not in charge of my social life.”
“Someone ought to be in charge of you,” Emmett said as he stepped closer.
Y/N’s heart rate began to speed up. Where was this coming from?
“You clearly want nothing to do with me, so what do you care?” she asked him defensively. “Why are you getting so mad?”
“Why are you being such a brat?” he replied.
“Excuse me?”
“You heard me.”
Scoffing, Y/N shook her head and pointed to the door.
“Get out,” she said to him.
“Make me,” he replied.
Narrowing her eyes, Y/N took a step closer to him and made to shove him, but when she lifted her arms, Emmett grabbed her wrists and held her still. Their eyes locked for just a second before he roughly pulled her closer and their lips crashed together in an angry kiss.
Y/N tried to pull her wrists from Emmett’s grip, but he only moved his lips more forcefully against hers and pushed her backwards, her lower back meeting the edge of the island as she made a whimpering sound. Her heart racing, she tried once more with all her strength to pull her wrists out of his grasp, and when she did, she immediately flung her arms around his neck instead, pulling him closer as he planted his hands on her hips. Leaning forward even more, Emmett inserted his knee between her legs, and he heard her make a noise as the fabric of his pants brushed against the bare skin of her thighs under her skirt. He pulled away from her mouth and their eyes met again for a moment before he raised his hands slightly higher on her sides and gripped her torso, picking her up and lifting her onto the island top in front of him. He then roughly pulled her legs apart and planted himself between them again before grabbing the back of her neck and pulling her face to his once more.
Y/N moaned as their lips met again, and her hands immediately reached for his shoulders. She gripped his shirt as he encouraged her to scoot closer to the edge of the counter, and when he violently squeezed her ass as he pulled her to him, she gripped his shoulders and sank her nails into his skin in response as a surprised and mildly pained squeak escaped her.
Emmett pulled away from her mouth, looking at her again before dropping his head in the crook of her neck and kissing her there as he spoke.
“You’re such a brat,” he said, his voice low and gravelly. “Always such a Goddamn handful.” He kissed her neck again and slipped his hands under her skirt, pushing it up around her hips.
“You’re a jerk,” she replied as she lifted her hands and tried to unbutton his shirt. She only got two or three undone before Emmett grabbed her hands and pulled them down, pressing her palms against the counter and holding them there.
“Be quiet,” he told her, and then she turned her head to meet his lips once again, leaning into him as he released her hands.
Y/N glided her palms up his front and then dragged her fingers across his chest as Emmett shoved her skirt out of the way once more. He then reached up and pulled her hands away from him, forcing his own hands between them and cupping her breasts through her tank top. As he squeezed her, Y/N moaned into his mouth, grabbing the sides of his face and keeping him close as he pinched her nipples. When she whimpered again, Emmett lowered his hands from her breasts to her hips, hooking his fingers in the hem of her panties. He wrapped his other arm around her waist and quickly lifted her up to tug them off. They slid down her legs and off her, falling to the floor, and they kissed again as Y/N’s hands brushed with Emmett’s as they both fought to open his pants. Y/N could feel how hard he was as she slid her palm over him, and her heart skipped a beat as Emmett groaned at her touch. But quickly, he pushed her hand out of the way, still kissing her as he drew himself out of his briefs and then roughly pulled Y/N the last bit to the edge of the counter to bring her as close as possible. In one swift movement, he entered her, and Y/N wrenched her lips from his and released an unbelievably sexy whine before wrapping her legs around Emmett’s waist. She gripped his shoulders again and her head fell forward against him as she felt him push deeper inside her.
Emmett groaned as he felt her walls clamp around him, and the sound of her little gasps as he began to move in and out of her were so insanely sexy that he couldn’t think straight.
“Not so sassy now, are you, princess?” he said lowly as he thrusted in and out of her again. “Hmm?”
“You’re...you’re a jerk,” Y/N breathed out again as her body rocked back and forth with his. But when Emmett responded by reaching down and pinching her clit between his thumb and forefinger, she couldn’t do anything else except let out a small cry. She gripped his shoulders tighter, but he quickly pulled her away from him and pushed her back against the island instead, now fully reclined as her back met the countertop.
Gripping her hips, Emmett looked down at her and their eyes met. It didn’t last long, though, as Y/N almost immediately squeezed her eyes shut in pleasure as Emmett picked up his pace, thrusting even harder in and out of her. When she squirmed on the counter, Emmett swiped his fingers over her clit again. She immediately arched her back and her walls clamped down in response, and Emmett’s mind became even foggier as he felt her tightening around him. But it was when she said his name that he lost it completely.
“Emmett...” she breathed out in barely a whisper, and with a few final repeated strokes to her clit, she came with a silent scream, her mouth falling open but no sound escaping. Emmett wasn’t able to stay quite as quiet as he followed immediately after her, groaning as he came before finally halting his movements as he leaned forward over her on the island, bracing himself with his forearms along her thighs as he rested his forehead on her stomach.
Slowly opening her eyes, Y/N stared up at the ceiling as she tried to catch her breath, vaguely aware of the party still going on outside. She could feel Emmett’s own strained breaths against her stomach, but she had no idea how to even process what had just happened between them.
There wasn’t any time to do so, however, as she suddenly heard one of the neighbors calling for her through the open window towards the front of the house, and when they heard footsteps coming towards her back door, Y/N quickly lifted herself up and shoved Emmett aside, jumping off the island and scrambling to step back into her panties as Emmett quickly zipped up his pants. When the neighbor called to her from the door again about needing her help with something, Y/N swallowed drily and then answered.
“I’ll be right there!” she called back.
Straightening her skirt, Y/N still couldn’t even process what had just happened. Instead, she looked over her shoulder at Emmett but said nothing when their eyes met, and before he could speak, Y/N turned and went down the steps and out the back door, leaving without a word and completely avoiding him for the rest of the night.

A Risky Flirtation
Warnings: Jealousy, Sugar Daddy-esque relationships
(Sugar Daddy!Submas x Reader)
The Twins bring you to lots of events. Charity galas, premiers, battling contests - they're invited to plenty of things that they can't always say no to, so you end up at fancy parties two to three times a month, maybe more. Not that you're complaining. Your little side job pays very well, and ever since they asked you to be their "regular" date, they've been quite generous with other gifts too.
It's at one of these parties that you happen to meet four of the most prestigious battlers in the world - Unova's Elite Four.
The twins have introduced you to plenty of gym leaders by this point, and of course, you knew Elisa even before you knew them, but the Elite Four are different. They're curious about you, a newcomer to the scene. It's hard not to notice when they go out of their way to talk to you.
And it's hard for Ingo and Emmet not to notice when the Elite Four start openly encouraging that interest.
Whether you're admiring Marshall's muscles, laughing at one of Grimsley's jokes over a game of poker, talking to Shauntal about her new book, or having a quiet moment with Caitlin over champagne, the twins are capital J Jealous.
It takes them a few events to realize what this strange mix of feelings is - the anger, the despair, the longing, the frustration - and by the time they have some tabloids have already caught on. Part of why it takes them as long as it does is that ... they really shouldn't be feeling this way.
They definitely can't say anything to you outright, because technically your relationship is strictly business... isn't it? They won't forbid you from spending time with anyone else. You should be allowed to have fun with whoever you want, as long as you're still fulfilling your job as their (secretly platonic) date. It doesn't, shouldn't matter how they feel. But they just can't get it out of their heads whenever the E4 are around.
Fortunately for them, there are two of them. One of them can always swoop in to distract you, even if the other is held up. Emmet pulls you square into his lap during poker and has you pick cards for him. He whispers in your ear to stay focused while his thumb rubs circles on your hip. Ingo whisks you into a dance and away from Marshall and Shauntal, his graceful movements take your breath away. It feels like dancing on air with him. Both twins saddle up on either side of you when you're with Caitlin, placing a hand on each hip and offering you a new flute of champagne.
The Elite Four are not blind. They can see how deep in Ingo and Emmet already are for you and have discussed it among themselves. It's become a little game for them to see how quickly they can rile the boys up.
As for yourself, you love the attention. Your heart warms each time the twins tumble over themselves to be near you. And sure, maybe that's them trying to prove to the cameras that they're good dates (they DO get a lot of good press in the days following). But could it be something more? It felt real, but can your feelings be trusted? Or are you just trying to see something that's not there? What would really be the harm in flirting a little more to find out...

Oooh! That’s awesome! The open request thing, I mean. And I’m not sure if by Ingo, you mean both versions of him, but, by chance can you please do Warden Ingo or regular Ingo with a coworker reader? Platonic or romantic it doesn’t matter really. I’ve felt like that’s what has been missing because I don’t think it has been done before. Thank you!
Coworker Reader x Ingo!
Subway Boss Ingo
You’re more likely a subordinate rather an a coworker, or perhaps you are a consultant for the subway? Perhaps you are a battle train participant. Or a secretary!
Either way, Ingo is a bit reserved about his feelings. He’s quite professional that way, he’s worried it would be seen as inappropriate. A boss and a coworker? The power dynamics makes it uncomfortable for him.
Outside of work, he feels a bit flustered to see you outside of uniform. Whatever clothes you like, it’s..nice to see how you represent yourself. He wants to learn more about you.
He’s also very attentive to your suggestions or questions about the subway. He’ll debate and tell you his reasoning should he disagree, but there is a notable softness in his expression. He likes debating with you.
He’s very in denial, please bear with him.
It’ll likely take some initiative from you or intervention from Emmet, or intervention from anyone really, to actually start any sort of relationship. And it’s Ingo, he’s as fair as they come. No one really minds.
Also It was starting to affect his work with how much he was getting distracted from trying to hide his feelings for you.
Any harassment you get from passengers gets a full angry glare. The stern reputation Ingo has comes into full effect.
Outside work Ingo is very affectionate, he likes to discuss certain work topics with you, and the experiences you’d had or shared that day.
Power couple of the subway coming through!
Warden Ingo
As a fellow warden, he’s much more at ease with you.
If either of you are the senpai, he gets noticeable shyer. There is a vague sense of worry as he wonders whether his feelings are appropriate, though he can’t quite put where that notion comes from.
There might be a period where he distances himself from you a little, saying that Lady Sneasler needs his help for something. He just needs to sort out his feelings. Lady Sneasler will scold him.
Thankfully there aren’t as many regulations in place in Hisui, and after some confiding in Calaba or Irina, he feels much more comfortable expressing himself.
Now he just has to deal with his regular awkwardness.
He takes your suggestions to heart, as well, especially if you’re his senpai. If he finds something odd, he will comment on it though.
If you two are in adjacent regions, he comes by often to travel with you when it’s time to give out the reports. You spend a lot of time chatting about your respective Nobles, their kin, and their behaviours, as well as how to survive out in the world you live in.
It’s just you and him on those quiet walks, which he enjoys immensely. With you around, he feels less alone in the world.
If your nobles end up spending more time with each other as a result of your bonding, and just so happen to create an egg…well, Congrats! He will glare at the commander should he try to say anything about it.

Heyyy wassupp
(This is my first time using Tumblr after a long period of time so idk if I'm requesting how i should)
I'm not sure if you take SFW requests but if you do, here's my request:
Ingo and Emmet having a partner that is trans (Both FTM or MTF are fine) finally decides to tell them, but they're really shy about telling them?
Thank you! :)
Hi! Congratulations for sending your first request! Yes I do sfw and nsfw
I've always to right about something like this but keep in mind that I am not trans so if I get things wrong please please tell me! Because again I am not trans and I don't want to either spread false information or say something that's potentially hurtful or insensitive.
Trans!Reader x Ingo
Trans!reader x emmet
Shy Reader coming out to Ingo and Emmet as trans.
Emmet
He noticed something was off in your behavior recently; being very perceptive to behavior changes, the slightest difference could send him questioning. He knew you were shy, but you seemed more dismissive than fearful; immediately, he asked if you were okay, and you were scared stiff that your boyfriend was already on to you. He answered,' Yeah... I just wanted to talk to you later.' his heart was pounding, and Emmet was freaking out on the inside. He knew you were lying. The look on your face was everything. It was all he thought about. If something were bothering you, then he would want to know now at this second. So he could either fix the problem or make you feel better, but he knew that if it was important to you, then he should never press and force you to tell him until you're ready, no matter how much he doesn't like when you keep things from him.
His heart was pounding when he saw you again you look like you were ready to cry as you talked very Softly your voice breaking is you struggled to find your words. He waited, wanting to physically comfort you as you find what you were trying to say. When you finally tell him that the gender he's always known you as wasn't what you were born with. You frozen fear when you saw his face; however, his Blank Stare turned into something else when he sighed in relief.
No it wasn't because you were trans in fact he was extremely happy with the fact that you took the courage to come out to him. He reassured that he would always love you no matter who you were....
"then what about that sigh of relief and that look on his face?" You ask because of that split moment it did kind of freak you out.
"Oh when you wanted to talk I thought we were breaking up. I prepared for the worst. I'm verrrrry glad it wasn't that." Emmet said a hand scratching the back of his head feeling nervous about the whole thing that Signature Smile of his becoming softer.
He apologizes for how he acted earlier and if he had scared you. And the two of you got ice cream/lunch to celebrate.
Ingo
At first, he has a million questions. He reassures you that at any time, if you'd like to talk about it, please take your time to tell him. He does not pick up on your change in Behavior. However when you do tell him in his head, he tries to find the problem before you even try to talk to him all day. It's just questions about the times he was slightly annoying and vowed to change it.
When you wanted to talk about anything important it could never be in a public place since Ingo is still struggling with his volume control. And even then Ingo tried to talk a little quiet at you he's not sure if it actually helps or not he just doesn't want to become too much.
He takes all important talks with you with the utmost seriousness. You adore it but at the same time it's a little scary. It's really hard when he looks you directly in the eye. as you begin talking he listens, taking it every word, but he couldn't stay quiet for long occasionally making small comments as you continue with your story of when before you transition to gather your courage.
Then you told him his eyes widening. You were scared at first even though that face of shock was something you expected. But your worries quickly dissipated and your eardrums as well when Ingo shouted excitedly "BRAVO!! CONGRADULATIONS!!" He was sad that he wasn't there too celebrate with you when you transitioned or any Milestone that you went past or support your hardships and at the same time he was extremely happy that you told him this information and trusted him with it and it just all rolled into excitement.
His Outburst almost scared the trans out of you but nonetheless you were extremely happy he took it well giving him a smile despite your ears now ringing. Realizing what are you done he immediately starts apologizing for his outburst. He offers to take you out to a restaurant and pay for dinner anywhere you want.

Blossom
Hello! I'm here again with an x reader this time with Emmet! This was a request that my friend @nartothelar did a whiiiiiile ago when I was asking for ideas to write and I finally finished it! Hope you guys enjoy!
You can read it on ao3 here
-
You could hear the soft sound of a guitar, somewhere deeper into the apartment. The pastries you bought, now out of the to go box and in a plate, could wait. A paper towel covered them as you went on to investigate the calm notes floating almost lazily through the hallway, your sticky hands were quickly wiped on a table cloth.
Your socked feet made muted thumps on the wooden floor as you followed the sound. Emmet’s door was slightly ajar, and now, closer to his room, you could hear a hum accompanying the chords.
You decided to knock, let him know you were there instead of suddenly opening the door and startling him, but, despite your best effort, you still heard a yelp and something hard hitting wood, a hiss.
“Sorry, Emmy, are you alright?” As you finally entered the room, you were met with the sight of Emmet in his bed, an acoustic guitar laying next to him while he massaged a knee.
“I am Emmet, I'm fine. I didn't know you were here.” He recovered quickly, knee just a bit red now but looking fine otherwise as he sat cross legged and faced you.
“Ingo let me in before he went to work, said you were probably still in your room since it's your day off. And sorry again, I didn't mean to surprise you like that. I got curious, didn't know you played the guitar.” You sat down next to him, your own legs thrown over the edge of the bed instead.
“I do not talk about it much. It is one of my hobbies but I feel like a boring one compared to other things I do.” Emmet grabbed the guitar, bringing it to his lap as you assume he was doing before you knocked.
You leaned on his shoulder and as naturally as if he was breathing air, he kissed the top of your head before resting his cheek against you. Your hands met in the space between your thighs.
“The song was very pretty. Does it have any lyrics?”
He hummed an affirmative, letting your hand go only to bring his back to the guitar, swift fingers moving over the strings.
“ I close my eyes
For once I don't have to try
I'm well-wishing for a life
I picture you happy, oh…”
Softly he sang, cheek still pressed against you, his voice taking an almost raspy quality as he followed the notes. You felt yourself relax, body just shy of limp where it rested against his side.
As the song finished, Emmet put the guitar to the side so he could hug you close. You knew, without him having to use words, that he was comfortable and happy, holding you, hiding his face on your hair.
“I didn't know you liked this type of music.”
“It’s from an artist that Ingo showed me, don't tell him I learned it, he'll make fun of me.”
“Why? Did you make fun of him for liking it in the first place?”
He only hummed again, more than enough answer for you. Emmet couldn't see the mischievous grin plastered on your face, but he probably felt it from your silence, sighing loudly about it what in turn got an evil laugh from you.
After a few moments, you quieted down, just enjoying each other's presence until a thought suddenly made you jolt, making Emmet sit up quickly to avoid a hit to the chin.
“Emmet! I left pastries on the counter!”
He answered with an alarmed look. The joltiks.
You raced back to the kitchen, stumbling, almost face planting once or twice, but just in time to see Eelektross scolding the tiny spiders. From their positions it seems like he stopped them just in time.
“Thank you, Eelektross!” Emmet exclaimed as he walked up to the eel, grabbing his face between his hands and swerving him gently side to side while cooing compliments and promising treats.
While the pair was busy you went back to the food, giving the joltiks a long look before stealthily pulling a battery from your pocket. They immediately perked up but you stopped just shy of their reach.
“This is all yours if you promise you won't try to take any more pastries, deal?” You barely finished whispering and the little ticks quickly nodded their heads, skittering away the moment they had a hold on the battery.
“Want to watch a documentary while we share these?” You quickly turned, trying not to act suspicious but almost dropping the plate when you found Emmet's face a breath away from yours.
“Verrrrry naughty, giving them treats after they misbehaved.” Despite the words he couldn't hide his amusement.
“Aw, c'mon, it's a peace treaty.” You paused. “Or should I say… a peace treats-y!”
Your boyfriend only looked at you for a long second, face unchanging. “I am Emmet and that was very bad.” With no other word, he walked to the living room, already picking the controller up to turn the TV on as you followed right behind him.
“It wasn't that bad, it was electric .”
“I will bite you.”
“Is that a promise?”
He answered with a huff and a shake of his head, dropping himself on the couch with his legs splayed out. You sat on the other side of it, throwing your legs over Emmet’s thighs as he rested his hands on top of them, his thumbs playing a nonsensical rhythm on your skin as the narrator started on the history of trains in the region of Kanto.
Emmet seemed very into the program, despite having seen it before, but your mind kept going back to the moment you two shared in his room.
“Emmy?”
“Hm?”
“Do you know any other songs on the guitar?”
He gave you a questioning look, documentary momentarily forgotten while he tried to gauge where this was coming from.
“I just didn't expect you to be into music like this, got me curious.”
His eyes stayed on you for a few more moments, a thoughtful look replacing the curiosity until he gently picked your legs up, dropping them back on the couch and stood up fully only to disappear in the hallway. You heard his steps coming back not long after, this time with his guitar in hand. You moved so he had space to sit down on the couch again.
After a few moments of rearranging himself, his fingers met the strings, sounding them out before actually playing.
“So up rolls a riot van and sparks excitement in the boys
But the policemen look annoyed”
As Emmet sang, his voice got that raspy tint again, this song had more of a laid back feel to it, like something you'd play while sitting around a fire pit in the beach. From the lyrics it was obvious that he chose this one to get a laugh from you.
“And please stop talkin’ ‘cause they won't find us if you do
Oh, those silly boys in blue…”
Following the words he nudged you with his elbow, looking at you conspiratorially. You rolled your eyes even though you couldn't quite keep the smile off of your face.
“‘Have you been drinking son? You don't look old enough to me’
‘I'm sorry, officer, is there a certain age you're supposed to be? ‘Cause nobody told me’”
Now you did laugh, from the drawl on his voice to match the words, the silly faces he made as if acting along as the characters. You couldn't help the fondness that seemed to blossom in your chest.
As the song ended you cheered loudly for him, earning a shove with not much heart behind, it was impossible to miss the amusement on the curve of his lips.
“You can keep playing, y'know?” You blurted out.
He gave you a questioning look, head tilting to the side.
“I really don't mind, and… it's nice.” Your voice was a bit quieter at the end. There was a lot more going on in your head than you could verbalize but it seemed like Emmet understood.
He offered a hand, which you accepted, getting comfortable as he pulled you closer, letting you lean on his side as he got in a better position to support you while still playing. An instrumental intro lasting a few moments before his voice joined the melody.
“You've done
Me wrong
For a long long time…”
Warm light covered the living room, the morning making way for the afternoon, the city in movement contrasting the calm atmosphere that surrounded you. You brought your knees up, hugging your legs while your head found his shoulder once again. Emmet’s voice fell over you like a soft blanket making you close your eyes, your breathing evening out.
You didn't really notice when the song ended, distantly feeling careful movement under you, the hollow sound of the guitar being moved to the ground, careful hands pulling you against a firm chest, arms holding you close. It was in that safe embrace that you let sleep fully take you, knowing there was nowhere else you rather be than in your talented partner's arms.

Pinky Promise Pt.1
Summary: Moving into a new city will always be stressful but it helps when your new neighbor helps bring your boxes in
Warnings:
Lamelo Ball x reader
Tumblr media
A/N: Found the new LOML yall🤭🤎
August 21
“Yes mom I promise to call when I bring the rest of the boxes up”
“Ok, me and your brother will be down to visit next week. Love you”
“I love you too mom”
As y/n pressed the button on her car to hang up the phone she looked out of the car window at the apartment building
This was her chance, she could finally start her bakery and bring it somewhere
Opening the car door she grabbed her purse and walked towards the lobby of the building, as she was nearing the door the (h/c) woman heard a man laughing as he was also near the door
The man reached the door first and stood there for a second still talking on the phone
Rolling her (e/c) eyes she tries to move around the brunette man, but he was humongous and they didn’t have anyway around him
He looked to be 6’ foot something but well over the 6’ mark
Tapping his shoulder ( or what she could reach) to grab his attention
“Excuse me” y/n plainly said rolling her eyes again
Turning around the man looked and her for a second before Turing around again but leaving a small space for her to get in
Taking this chance to enter the building she couldn’t help but be in awe of what she saw
It had a very sleek and modern design, it looked quite nice if you asked her
Walking up to the front desk she was greeted by a man whose name tag read ‘Emmet’
With a small smile on her face she started talking “Hello, I’m moving in today and I needed the key”
Emmet looked behind her to see the giant man walking past them; off the phone this time
“Morning Mr.Ball” Emmet said with a small smile
Walking past and not even stoping for a second the ‘Mr.Ball’ replied with a “Wassup”
Now looking (y/n) again he addressed her and asked what was the apartment number
Pulling out her phone and going to her moms text messages she read Emmet the number that her mom sent her
(Y/n) had no clue how her mom could even afford this place but she’s just going to chalk it up to her new job with a massive increase in pay
Emmet typed the room number into the computer after a second he looked up and with a smile handed (y/n) the keys and greeted her again but using her last name this time
Moving towards the elevator she pressed the up button and waited for it to come down to her
Taking a second to think she had a lot to do today, she had to visit some places to see where she wanted to set up shop; already having a few places in mind she had it narrowed down to 3 places each with its own benefits
Looking up when the elevator made a ‘ding’ she walked on and pressed floor 5 at took the quiet ride up thinking to herself
When the (h/c) woman made it to her floor she was a bit confused seeing only 2 doors but paying it no mind she went to find apartment 502
It didn’t take very long with the bold numbers on the side of the door, so taking her key and unlocking the door she stared in awe
The place was amazing, when you walked in it was a open kitchen next to it was what she assumed to be the dining area with a chandelier in the middle of the area
Not taking to much longer to look around she wanted to get her things in and lay down, the trip from (h/t) was tiring
“So your the new neighbor” Hearing a deep voice call out she jumped a bit and turned around seeing the same man from outside the building

Pt.1 And I’m low key kinda happy with it

Won’t You Be My Neighbor?
•• Emmett x Reader ••
Part 1
(In this story, Emmett has been divorced for several years.)
…………………………………………………………………………….
Tumblr media
Rrrumm... rrruummm... rrrrruuuummmmmmm...
As the signature sound made its way from over the fence and across the still, scorching air, Y/N was roused out of sleep as the noise traveled up and through her open bedroom window. Rolling over, she gradually came to as the noise got closer before it faded for a pass, and then became closer and louder once again.
Groaning, she rolled over once more onto her back, opening her eyes and turning her head to look over at the clock on her nightstand. 7:00 a.m. She let out an angry huff and looked up at the ceiling before shaking her head.
She couldn’t believe he was doing it again. She’d asked him a million times not to, but he never listened to her. Rolling over once more, she closed her eyes and pulled her pillow over her head, hoping that it’d somehow be enough to drown out the noise and allow her to fall back asleep. It had never done the trick before, though, and this morning was no exception. When the noise became even louder, she let out a muffled scream of frustration into her pillow before tossing it across the room and annoyedly getting out of bed. Adjusting the straps of her nightgown, she descended the stairs to the first floor and shoved her feet into her flip-flops before yanking open the back door and stomping out into the yard.
Although it was only 7:00 a.m., it was already suffocatingly hot outside, and as soon as she stepped into the backyard, a thin layer of sweat immediately glazed her forehead. Lifting her hand to her brow to shield her eyes from the sun, she looked across the fence to see him making another pass through his yard with the lawn mower. She narrowed her eyes in anger before trudging across the yard and stopping at the fence.
He was wearing that stupid, grungy baseball hat, tattered jeans, and a wife beater. He was tanned, and also already covered in sweat, his exposed skin displaying a layer of sheen. Despite how annoyed she was, when she stopped at the fence, Y/N couldn’t help but admire his muscles as they flexed with every small movement he made. She also noted how good his ass looked in those jeans, and the way his handsome face caught the sunlight and highlighted his cheekbones every time he turned. But when the lawn mower spat out a loud, angry sputter, she winced at the noise as she came back to the moment. His back was now to her, and she shouted across the fence at the top of her lungs.
“EMMETT!”
But, of course, he didn’t hear her.
“EMMETT!!!” she shouted even louder.
It was pointless. Huffing once again in frustration, she looked around for something, anything, and when her eyes landed on the recycling bin along the fence next to her, she reached in and grabbed an empty plastic soda bottle from inside. Closing one eye to focus her aim, she stuck her tongue out the side of her mouth in concentration as she lifted her arm and chucked the bottle across the yard at him.
“HEY!” she shouted as it flew out of her hand.
She smirked in triumph as it successfully collided with the back of his head, and the noise from the lawn mower came to a welcomed stop as he let go of the handlebar and turned around.
“What the fu—” he began, but stopped as he finished turning around and saw her standing behind her side of the fence, glaring at him.
“Christ,” he muttered to himself under his breath, trying to prepare himself to deal with her, but also admittedly impressed with her aim. As their eyes met, she put her hands on her hips and gave an exasperated shake of her head.
“Seriously?!” she called from across the yard.
Abandoning the mower and picking up the empty bottle, Emmett walked across the lawn to the fence, taking his time and finally coming to a stop in front of her. He briefly removed his hat and lifted his arm to wipe the sweat from his forehead before replacing the hat and looking at her again.
“Problem?” he said to her.
“Seriously?” she said again.
“It’s not very neighborly to throw trash at people,” Emmett responded. He leaned over the fence and dropped the bottle back in her recycling bin.
“And it’s also not very neighborly to wake people up at 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning when they’re trying to sleep in,” she replied as she continued to glare at him.
“We can’t all sleep in and lounge around all day,” he said. “Some of us have shit to do.”
“I’ve asked you a million times to wait until later in the day to mow the lawn,” she responded. “I’m not asking for a lot – just until, like, 9 or 10 a.m.”
“Must be nice to have all that free time,” he replied sarcastically.
She narrowed her eyes at him.
“Screw you! You know that’s not true! I work early shifts and long hours. The weekends are my one chance for some extra sleep.”
“We all work hard, princess,” he responded back to her. “You don’t see the other neighbors complaining.”
In that moment, she wished looks could kill, because she knew that the face she made at him was a deadly one. She crossed her arms defensively.
“I still don’t even understand how you get away with it with everyone else. Who the hell mows the lawn at 7:00 a.m. and doesn’t have every person in the neighborhood petitioning for some sort of fine or something?!”
“Because everyone else likes me,” Emmett responded. “You’re the odd one out. And if this is the way you treat all the neighbors, I can see why there’s no one on your side.”
“I’m a nice person, you asshole! Ask everybody around here; ask your boys. You’re the un-neighborly one!”
“Lucky for them, I don’t believe the boys have ever seen this side of you. But I know the truth.”
Y/N glared at him again, but Emmett was quickly distracted as she uncrossed her arms to shoo away a fly that buzzed by. His gaze lowered to her chest, and he could make out her nipples and the curves of her full breasts beneath the thin white nightgown she was wearing. She was clearly oblivious to what she was putting on display, but Emmett found it almost impossible to drag his eyes away. When he did, he was just met with another distraction as she lifted her head in annoyance and the sun highlighted her pretty face. Unconsciously, he licked his own lips as his eyes landed on her pouty full ones, but he was brought out of his trance when she lowered her head to look at him again.
“Look, I’m just asking for a little understanding here,” she spoke once more. “Can’t you wait just one more hour at least?”
Emmett shook his head.
“I told you, I’ve got shit to do.”
“If you’ve got so much to do, you can’t tell me there’s not a single thing that you couldn’t do first before mowing the lawn.”
“Sorry, princess; I’ve got an order I like to do things in,” he replied matter of factly. The truth was, she was right; there were plenty of other things he could do first. But after all this, he just wanted to push her buttons.
“You’re impossible!” she cried, throwing her arms up in the air. She then turned on her heel and began to head back inside her house. “Enjoy your yardwork,” she said sarcastically over her shoulder. “I hope you get heatstroke out here!”
“Have a nice day, neighbor!” Emmett called back tauntingly in response.
As she entered her house and slammed the door behind her, he looked after her for just a moment before shaking his head and turning to walk back to the mower. He then pushed it to the end of the yard nearest to her house, where they’d just been standing, before starting it up again. Taking his sweet time, he went back and forth along the area a few more passes than necessary and pausing several moments each time, being sure to let the noise travel up to her open bedroom window.

Okay hear me out—
Spirited away au
Where Ingo and/or Emmet get transported into the spirit world and are trying to find their way back home. Meanwhile they are being assisted by river spirit reader. (This can be either Romantic or platonic)
I've been legit struggling for days to figure out how to write this so I'm just gonna just. Replace Chihiro with the twins and replace Haku as the main character. Reader's name is going to be Sho (real name hidden for later)
Spirited Away AU: Submas x Male Reader
Every two years or so, the twins go on a vacation with Elesa and Skyla. This year they decided to go to Sinnoh, to take in all of the countryside's local sights and treats. But after a bus ride gone wrong, they find themselves stranded by the edge of a forest. Ingo and Emmet thinks it's safer to wait by the station for the next bus to arrive, but when they looked at the schedule, it wouldn't appear for the next two to three hours. Elesa groans but Skyla decides quickly that everyone should go for a hike. She spotted a hiking path nearby and though the twins disagree at first, they come along in the end. Hiking through the woods was nice at first, being out in nature away from the bustling city life. But then they come across a red building, an entrance of some sort and subsequently the story officially starts when they pass through.
Ingo and Emmet warned Elesa and Skyla not to eat the food but they did anyways. Feeling fed up with being ignored, the two brothers decide to walk away from them, to explore more of the area and that's when they saw you, on the bridge. Your eyes widen at the sight of the humans, immediately stepping forward. "You need to leave, now." The twins stand there for a moment, registering what you said, mistaking your warning as a threat. "Is there some problem?" Ingo asked as he steps forward with his hands together, "Surely there'-" "No. You need to get yourself and anyone who came with you back across the river." You turn your head to see that the lanterns are turning on and shout once more. "You really need to leave, before anyone sees you. Hurry before it gets dark! I'll distract them." With your warning taken into consideration, Ingo and Emmet turn their heads to look at each other and actually heeds your warnings, pivot turning and walking away. But their casual walk becomes a sprint when suddenly, the lights of the restaurant district turn on and they see things they don't recognize. Not human or pokemon were alive in these streets, these unidentifiable figures were odd and worrisome. They made it back to the restaurant where Elesa and Skyla were eating, Emmet getting there first, but he stands there with his jaw dropped as he points to them. They've turned into fat, horrendous pigs, feasting on whatever their mouths could reach. Not realizing that these two were their former friends, the two twins sprint off, next to each other shouting their names. They try to reach the red building, hoping their friends would be there. But when they try to go back to where they came from a mighty large river stands in their path. They see more strange monsters appearing, spirits arriving by boat so they find a place to hide and keep quiet to themselves. You go out to search for them and when they see you, Ingo instinctively stands in front of Emmet. "W-what is all this?!" He yells, but you immediately shush him. "Quiet. The others are looking for you." This immediately silences them and you take out two pieces of candy from your pocket. "Ingo, Emmet. You need to follow my instructions, here. Eat this food." You open your palms for them to grab but they hesitate. "You need to eat food from the spirit world in order to stay here, otherwise when daylight comes you'll disappear. And you won't be able to rescue your friends." This immediately gets their attention, Emmet finally stepping forward with his hands together, "What happened to them? Elesa and Skyla?" Your gaze softens a smidge, "They've been cursed. You have to wait for another day if you want to rescue them. But you won't get that chance unless you eat." Ingo and Emmet hesitate again but Ingo's hands go to grab your candy. Emmet initially protests against this, but Ingo fails to grab the candy as his hand becomes transparent. "Here," you say before lifting the candy up to Ingo's mouth. What was usually a reserved romantic gesture became the only way to survive as he chewed and then swallowed. You repeated the same action for Emmet and the two became real again. Tonight was going to be a long night.

Far Away Eyes (Chap. 1)
words: 3756
cw: yandere (eventually, but nothing in this part)
Pairings: Ingo/Reader, Emmet/Reader, Background Maxie x Archie (Reader is their kid)
Summary: You move away to escape the scorn from your fathers' actions. Your loneliness pays a the toll.
Perhaps, if you had been a bit smarter in your decisions.
Perhaps, if you had been just a tad more observant.
Perhaps, if you had been more sceptical of the model that you considered a friend.
Then maybe you would not have ended up in the circumstance you did.
You moved to Unova from Hoenn, encouraged by your previous Gym Leader, Wattson. The old man had taken some pity on you when he caught you lost and distraught, trying to navigate the enclosed city. You had technically lived there all your life, but had never really gotten out of your apartment much. Well, except when your papa took you out to his place, being able to navigate Lilycove with ease did not translate to Mauville.
Still, when the Gym Leader's eyes landed on your poor, terrified form clinging to a Numel in desperate comfort, his heart about shattered. You explained that you had run away from home in fear of what your fathers were doing. Wattson did not quite get what you meant entirely, interpreting it as some form of abuse. He rubbed your back amicably and offered you a place at his gym should you be able to prove yourself as a trainer. You could battle, definitely. Both, your papa and dad instilled the importance of it in you.
A quick battle proved your worth to the old man, and he nodded before letting out a gut-busting laugh. You would need some electric types, he explained. Your Carvahna and Numel were not exactly a perfect fit for his gym. You understood. This was not an opportunity you would let slip from your hands. You rushed over to Route 118 and began your hunt.
It was a strange experience, being out in nature all by your lonesome. Before, you would be accompanied by one of your fathers, their admins or grunts. They did not view you as someone who needed to be protected, necessarily, but they worried about you. Your dad always acted like you would disappear the minute his eyes left you during your younger years. Your papa was not much better, often panicking when you slipped away from him in the market to browse items.
The grass hid many pokemon you knew quite well. A Linoone darted between your legs, and a swarm of Wingulls flew above your head. The moment of tenative exploration allowed you to learn and grow. Catching your first pokemon by yourself was a memorable experience. Your hand brushed through the staticky fur of Electrike, and you giggled as he bumped his head against your hand before trying to lick you. You beamed at Wattson, and he did the same to you. It was then that you were welcomed as a gym trainer.
Of course, you found yourself deeply infatuated by the techniques and strategies found in battle. You stayed cooped up in your small home in Verdanturf when you were not trying to catch or train new team members. The quiet of your home and the distraction of your work kept you much too occupied to pay attention to the news. It was not until a strange sky hung above you that you realised what they had done.
You stood in terror beside Wattson as dark clouds hung in the sky spotted with a harsh sun burning through. They had done it, you knew. They had awoken the ancient pokemon. Excusing yourself from the Gym Leader, you rushed to Sootopolis as fast as your Swellow could take you. You spotted them outside the Cave of Origin, in deep contemplation. Your dad's charcoal eyes lit up when he saw you. Your papa was soon to follow his reaction, turning to look at you.
"Scamp! Is that you!" his deep voice rang out as he charged at you. He pulled you close while pressing kisses over your face. Your dad let out a breath of relief. His harsh expression took over once more, "Where have you been? We were worried sick about you." Your papa shook his head and gave a glare at your dad.
"Max! Now ain't the time!" Archie shouted, squeezing you closer. Maxie stomped over to you and pulled you from his rival with a glare. "It certainly is! We might have just ended the world; I have a right to know where my child has been!" You sighed. They were at each other's throats as always. You hugged your father and let him rest his head on your shoulder. He was terrified. You could tell. Well, if it was the end as he thought, at least you could spend it with your family.
It was not, however. A boy popped out of the cave with a smile and two new pokeballs in his hand. The legendaries had been caught, and no longer served as a problem to the world. The tension that had overcome the group waiting outside, which included the Champion Steven and Gym Leader Wallace, had burst like a punctured water balloon. You watched as your papa lifted your dad into the air and spun him around with a loud cheer. Your aunts, Shelly and Courtney, observed them both with a similar gaze of mild disappointment. You sighed.
It was over.
All the terrible things your fathers had planned to do had come to an end.
That did not mean it was without consequence. They were both seeking to repent for what they had done, while the larger society of Hoenn demanded some sort of justice for their actions.
You, being their child, were not going to be exempt from the scorn of everyone. They apologised to you, Archie, offering for you to join them in their fleeing of the region, but you shook your head. You could not. Maxie was clearly disappointed by this, but you explained that you had a life here. You had a job, friends, and a career of sorts. He nodded but sighed. They both wished you luck and promised to stay in contact before sailing from the coast of Lilycove.
A few people had come to recognition of you and complained about your presence being in the gym. You were literally the child of two people who had just caused a catastrophe that nearly ended the world, and the leaders had escaped before they could even be arrested. The harrassment slowly built up to people finding your home address and leaving threats around your home or breaking things. A rock had come flying through your window, nearly hitting your head.
You went to Wattson in tears, begging for advice. The old man could not handle all the pain that was being inflicted upon you. Yes, he knew what your fathers had done was awful, but you were not them. There was no way you could have been involved in their plans, having been too busy with gym duties or training. He hugged you tightly and thought of what to do.
"Have you ever thought about moving, dear?" he asked, a reassuring smile on his face, "I know you love it here, but it is just too unsafe for you. I think moving away from Hoenn would be best for you." It was reminiscent of how your fathers had tried to convince you to leave. Wattson was sort of like a third father. Perhaps, a grandfather was a better word for it.
Leave Hoenn.
Leave everything you know for an entirely different place.
It was scary.
You had done something like that before, however. When you first left your dad's apartment here in Mauville, it was your first step into changing your life. A new step was required, it seemed. "Is there anywhere you have in mind?" You could not think of anywhere that you wished to go. Perhaps you could try dyeing your hair and wearing contacts?
"Unova! I know an electric gym there that recently got remodelled and needs some new trainers!" He beamed at you, "I think you would like it there. It's in Nimbasa, this big metropolitan city!"
Unova… You did not know much about Unova. The region had never been one of much interest to you. Still, if Wattson was recommending it, you would trust his judgement. "What's the Gym Leader like? Am I going to find out that you have a twin brother now, Mr. Wattson?" The old man let out a loud laugh at that.
He shook his head. "Wahahah, goodness, no. Elesa would be in tears if she heard you say that," Wattson guffawed, "She's a younger lady. A model, too, at that. It might be nice to see you with people closer to your age." You supposed so. A model and gym leader, huh? You thought Wattson was an interesting sort with his interests in architecture and electricity.
You agreed.
Wattson made a call to the Unovan Gym Leader and got you a secured position at the foreign gym.
That was what landed you there. You stood in shock at the change from everything you knew in Hoenn. The buildings seemed impossibly tall, and the bustle of people was reminiscent of Mauville, but to such a larger extent in size. People paid no mind to you as they moved from place to place. Your feet carried you around to where you had managed to rent an apartment from all the way back home.
You rushed inside the building that had such an alien architecture to you. The floor button was pressed in the elevator many different times as you felt panic coursing through your veins. It moved slowly before opening a floor just before where you needed to go. Someone stepped in but stared at their phone. Your floor came, and you bolted out. The door number was quickly found and roughly unlocked. Your luggage was dumped beside the door as you slammed it behind you.
Slinking to the ground, you checked your phone.
A text was sent to both of your fathers, but no response came.
There was no one to rely on here.
You were truly alone.
You stumble around the city in confusion. The gym was apparently in an amusement park, but where that location remained was something beyond your comprehension. People stared at you as you gazed at your phone, desperately trying to identify where you were. You stopped in front of a station. Looking at your map, you noticed that the amusement park should be somewhere nearby.
Observing your surroundings carefully, you spotted a giant spinning wheel. A Ferris wheel! That would be where the amusement park was, surely. You moved in the direction of it confidently. The crowds thickened in population as you came to a stop at the gate. You squinted at the Galarian. Yes! You were in the right location!
Continuing inside, you found yourself lost in a sense of wonder. Giant, illuminated Pikachu and Pichu structures stood near the entrance. Their cuteness was undeniable. You gazed at them for a moment, just allowing yourself a break from all the stress that had consumed you previously. A building swirled with colourful neon lights as you passed it by. You moved expertly through the crowd of people.
Next was the giant wheel itself. A long line of people waited outside it, each with varying emotions. Many were excited, but a few seemed irritated or upset. You turned your head towards a flashy, luxuriant building. Gold lights appeared to stream down vents in the wall, contrasting the dark ebony of the rest gorgeously. Spotlights shone on a logo. That was the logo of the gyms in Unova. This was where you needed to be.
Entering, you stood stunned. Crowds of people stood to watch a long runway that extended the length of the building. Loud, pumping music echoed off the walls of the room and left you in a bit of a daze. Elesa… You would likely recognise her in an instant. Nervously, your feet carried you across the runway.
A trainer awaited you and challenged you without any hesitation. Their team was not anything you could not handle. Your nervous demeanour bled away as you focused on how to handle the battle. The crowd cheered loudly after you won the battle. You smiled and waved at them shyly. Another trainer followed, along with a third. The ovation and support grew louder after each victory.
That was when you saw her. Standing with an air of certainty and elegance, she threw her hair back. It was long and black, styled like twin lightning bolts. A daffodil fur coat, heavy on her shoulders. She observed you with her hand on her hip. A hand reached for a pokeball. It was not over yet, you realised.
The battle had been a struggle. Her pokemon messed with you by switching out often through the use of volt switch. You had truly feared a loss, but your Manectric came in to save you by bearing a hit that should have truly knocked him out. An overheat defeated her Zebtrika, and she smiled.
"Well, I didn't think Wattson would lie, but I'm still dazzled by your team!" her voice was friendly, something easy to trust. "I'm Elesa! Welcome to the gym!" You grinned back at her, a relaxed feeling overcoming you.
Your adjustment to the new region was aided heavily by the Gym Leader. Elesa helped you navigate the city easily and gave advice about which places were worth a visit. She walked you around the entire area on a following afternoon to your acceptance into the gym. It was nice to have some help after the hectic nature of your first day there. She even offered to help with your Galarian, noticing that it was a bit weak.
You settled relatively quickly after that. It was easy to lose yourself in the lull of training and battling, just as you had in Hoenn. The trainers of the Unova region were not so different from your native one, but you still felt a bit out of place. Elesa promised that you weren't, yet the feeling never left you.
Friends were relatively hard to make. In Hoenn, you had easy company with your neighbours in Verdanturf. That was not the case in Nimbasa. The city was large and full of life. The loneliness stung. You checked your phone often, desperate for any reply from your parents. They never responded. You crashed against your bed with a huff.
Maybe you could ask Elesa if she knew anybody that would be nice to hang out with?
That or you were going to become a hermit.
Elesa gasped when she learnt you had no friends. It was terribly sad thing, she said. You were so kind and sweet. "How about… I become your friend!" the model offered, "I already like you, so… This totally works!" You supposed that worked. She took your hand with much excitement and beamed at you.
That evening, you were invited out to a sushi restaurant she loved. It was a fun evening, honestly. They made the sushi fresh in front of you. You watched as she downed a glass of water after accidentally eating some raw wasabi. You giggled at the scene. This was something you needed.
"So, like, what are your plans in life?" she asked you while reading the menu intensely. You froze. What were your plans in life? Be a trainer forever? You did not want to become a Champion. A small conversation you had with Steven while waiting for the child to resolve your fathers' mess had been enough to turn you away. A Gym Leader? Wattson had offered to let you take over his own whenever he finally retired, but you could not return to Hoenn any time soon. Perhaps ever.
"I don't know, really," you admitted, "The usual thing. Probably settle down, have kids." It was half a lie. You did want that some day, but that felt worlds apart from where you were currently. All you wanted was a message from either of your fathers saying that everything was fine.
"Oh? Really?" Elesa seemed surprised by that. It was reasonable, you suppose. Nothing about you screamed parental or marriageable. You simply lived to battle, it felt like some days. "I want that, too, actually. Maybe not kids, but marrying someone seems so romantic, doesn't it?" You nodded. Who would you like to marry? You had a crush on Wallace when you were younger, finding him a beautiful man. He was not your type, in actuality. That one meeting with him had set you off from him.
Another hang-out session took you from Nimbasa out to Driftveil. You sat in the audience watching the Hoenn Leaders Cup at the Pokemon World Tournament. Elesa watched your eyes light up at the sight of your previous Gym Leader. You waved at him and called his name. The old man grinned brightly when he saw you and returned the gesture. You felt happy to see him again.
"Aw! Tate and Liza have gotten so much bigger now!" you cooed at the sight of the psychic Gym Leaders. Elesa squinted at the line-up. "Ah, they are the two youngest ones."
"Ohh, I see. Are they twins? They look like they are the same age," she asks, tone inquisitive.
"Yeah! They are super cute about it," you recalled a time you babysat them while in Lilycove with your papa, "They can finish each other's sentences, and read each other's minds!" You waved at them, too. Liza smiled at you and waved back.
"You like twins?" Elesa questions once more. It was an assertion, certainly. You did not like Tate and Liza because they were twins, but rather because they were cute kids you had taken care of.
"Mmm… Maybe?" you answered. It was not something you were necessarily averse to. Well, having twin children sounded adorable but extremely stressful. Elesa nodded and moved to focus on the battles that had started. You joined her, happy to see some familiar faces after a few months without them.
It was around a year into your new life that Elesa invited you out with one of her friends. Apparently, she had been meaning to sooner, but they had gotten busy with work and had been unavailable until recently. You were excited by the prospect of making a new friend even still. A cute, autumn outfit was slipped on as you readied yourself to meet them at the cafe. A battle cafe? How interesting.
Elesa waved you over to their table when you walked in the door. Beside her sat a cute man. His hair style was a bit strange, definitely questionable fringes, but his attire was an all-around comfortable arrangement. A friendly smile played across his lips as he waved at you, too. You felt a blush on your face. Ah, was he a model friend? He certainly was pleasant on the eyes.
"Meet Emmet! He's the friend I was telling you about," Elesa wrapped an arm around his shoulder and pulled him in for a side hug. He leaned into it easily. His eyes were a nearly iridescent chrome that stared into you hypnotisingly. "Hi. I am Emmet. I am a Subway Boss," his voice was monotone but held an approachable softness. What was that? A Subway Boss? The term was unfamiliar to you. Did he manage the subways? Well, you definitely needed to thank him for his hard work. They were never late on arrival, it seemed.
"Oh! You don't know what that is, do you?" Elesa asked, and you shook your head, "Emmet runs the subway with his brother, Ingo. They are also trainers who have a battle facility down there." Oh. Well, that sounded a bit cooler. How old was he? When you thought of someone who managed transportation, he was not the guy that came to mind. "Like the Battle Frontier? I don't think I would have missed something like that, El. This guy is no Noland, anyway," you joked, unsure as to where this supposed battle facility could be.
"You have never challenged the Battle Subway? That is verrrry disappointing," he huffed like a child, "I may not be Frontier Brain Noland, but my skills are on par with him." You giggled at his reaction. His smile grew at that. Elesa grinned at the broken tension, too. "You should totally do that!" she exclaimed, "You're super into competitive batting, right? Well, Emmet is, too!" You stared at him. What kind of trainer did he look like? Steel maybe? To go along with the subway aesthetic?
You enjoyed that outing with Elesa and her friend. Emmet devoured more sugar than you thought was safe, but he was content with himself. The battles were fun, too. A nice challenge over all. Though, you did notice how Emmet easily handled his opponent. A Galvantula and an Eelektross were his pokemon of choice. An electric trainer? That worked, too. You traded numbers with the Subway Boss before parting with the two.
Your outings with Elesa seemed to suddenly always include Emmet after your introduction. It was not something that you minded, but simply a thing that you noted. He was a fun guy to be around. The ability to bounce battle ideas off of him was nice, too. That always led to him pleading for you to challenge the Battle Subway. You were thinking about it.
Elesa once had to leave suddenly after you arrived at the restaurant for dinner. She apologised but said to enjoy your evening with Emmet. You rolled your eyes. The Subway Boss was a bad conversationalist but an attentive listener, you learnt. Observant, too.
"How did you get that scar?" he asked, pointing to a long, slim one on your arm. You thought about that one. It had come from when someone assaulted you in Hoenn. They claimed that you would try to cause another calamity before trying to stab you. A narrow dodge barely saved your life. "Ah, well, a person tried to attack me back in Hoenn. It's nothing to worry about; that's all in the past." Emmet was obviously concerned but held his tongue.
When the time came to leave, he grabbed your hand gently. "I am here for you if you need to talk," he offered with a soft voice, "Please don't feel alone. I will help you without hesistation." You smiled. Oh, he was just too sweet. You presumed that was why he ate so much sugar. Emmet walked you to the station before bidding you a long farewell.

I always thought it’d be cool if the gear station had rumors of a ghost train that runs at night. Like it looks like any of the other trains on the line but if you walk into it you can’t leave. Trainers go missing every so often, but the subway bros haven’t ever seen it, so they think it’s just a rumor.
Maybe one night the reader goes to visit them after hours to get them a late night snack or just some support and they get led away onto the ghost train. Maybe the twins see them on the security cameras walking off in a daze towards the train lines. I’d think it’d be interesting to see their reaction to a phenomena they didn’t believe was real happening in front of them. Especially if the reader could be in danger.
Maybe it’s just a rotom that took control over an old train car that was taken out of commission that likes to disappear people for mischief reasons. Or maybe its something sinister.
I got carried away with this one, oops.
Ingo x GN!Reader x Emmet, can be seen as either platonic or romantic. No reader descriptions or pronouns used to try and help you insert yourself in better. Takes place after Legends.
Summary: You visit the Gear Station one night to surprise your favorite twins, but the three of you aren't alone. CW: Near death experience.
You would occasionally hear stories children would tell one another within the Gear Station. Tales ranging from 'Subway Boss Emmet is actually a Zoroark', to 'Subway Boss Ingo is a robot' or whatever else their imaginations came up with. It got especially bad when the eldest twin suddenly vanished, and echoes of different 'theories' made up by kids would make their way across the city. "Maybe he got abducted by aliens!" one kid would say, while another would reply with "aliens aren't real, dumb dumb. Obviously, he's Boss Emmet's shadow and he went back to the shadow realm."
Thankfully none of these were true, as a couple of months after his disappearance, Ingo returned just as mysteriously, wandering the tunnels of the subway. His coat had been in tatters, he had developed a slouch, and he looked exhausted. Or as Emmet had bluntly put it, "Brother! You look like shit."
Two months had passed since his return and he had quickly gotten back on track running the station. He still had gaps in his memory and he would occasionally space out. His voice would remain quieter, except for when the two worked. Ingo and Emmet loved to spend their time reminiscing about their shared past. Every “I remember that!” from Ingo would almost bring Emmet to tears. Things were nearly back to normal. Nearly.
One night the twins were working late, as usual. You hadn't seen either of them often since Ingo's disappearance, so you decided to bring them a surprise: their favorite black and white cookies from a bakery nearby.
As you stepped into the station, you didn't realize how eerily quiet the building was until you heard how loudly your footsteps echoed off the brick walls. You couldn't hear the distant sound of employees or even the hollering of either of the twins. There wasn't even the cooing of a wild Pidove who made its way in. You could hear your heart pound against your chest.
The sudden sound of a train horn startled you.
'What the? The trains aren't scheduled to be running until morning. Maybe those two are doing maintenance?' You thought, heading towards the tunnel you heard the sound from. Where there are trains, there are twins.
For a while, there was nothing. No lights, no sounds, no trains. 'Was this platform always this long?' you questioned.
Shortly after, the headlights of a subway train finally appeared. You let out a sigh of relief as you saw Emmet wave from the front. The doors opened with a chime and the usual announcement to "mind the gap" played as you hopped on.
You sighed in relief and headed towards the cab where you saw Emmet. “Thank the Legends I found you guys, I thought for a second I was going to be jumped by a Gengar-” You stopped when you saw that the younger twin was gone. The cab was empty. You were sure you had seen Emmet here just a moment ago. You searched for a sign of his presence. “Emmet, this isn’t very funny, where’d you go?”
You caught the sound of the doors shutting. No one but you was in the cab and you hadn’t touched the controls. A chill ran down your spine and you sprinted to one of the doors. They were sealed shut. Even the emergency exits had vanished, as if they had never existed.
You recalled one of those Gear Station stories you overheard earlier.
"Have you heard of the ghost train?" An older kid said to a younger, frightened boy.
"G-Ghost train?" The child gripped his Teddiursa plush tightly.
The first boy smirked and continued. "They say after the trains stop running in the Gear Station, one train can still be heard running. People say they've seen passengers get on...but never get off."
The second child squeaked in fear, now hiding behind the small bear.
"Michael quit scaring your brother," the boy's father said, as he ruffled the eldest's hair.
You didn't pay any mind to the tale then, as you believed it was just a scary story between siblings. "That was just something that kid made up, I'm just...having a bad dream," you whispered to yourself, slumping to the floor. You desperately wanted to convince yourself this wasn't real.
Your heart stopped when you felt the train begin to move. You nearly tripped over yourself getting up and rushing for the doors. You cried for help. You screamed for Ingo and Emmet. The train slowly gained speed, and the faster you traveled, the faster your hope began to wane. Falling to your knees, you weakly pounded on the doors and sobbed.
You're done for.
"...ey!"
You perked up at the faintest sound of a voice. A familiar voice.
"Emmet?"
"Snap out of it!" Ingo. You could hear them clearer. They sounded out of breath, like they had been sprinting.
You didn't have much time to dwell on it as something suddenly crashed into you. You yelped, squeezing your eyes tight and bracing yourself. You were surprised to feel a body under you and you opened your eyes to see...Emmet? You would have asked where he came from but the sudden rush of a subway train next to you derailed that immediate thought. His arms wrapped around you tightly. His white cap blew off in the wind but he didn't move to save it. It was then you noticed the tracks next to you, and the concrete tunnel taking up your surroundings. You weren't in the cab anymore. The wind settled as the train headed further down the tracks, and you noticed Ingo standing on the platform above you.
'How did I get on the tracks…?' You couldn't recall ever leaving the platform, except for stepping aboard the train.
"Emmet, the tracks are clear!" Ingo called down. The younger twin wasted no time lifting you up and running across the metal tracks.
"What...happened?" You finally asked, in a daze.
The elder twin assisted you in getting back onto the platform. "It seems I wasn't the only passenger to get off at this station," he replied.
"It was a Zoroark," Emmet climbed back up to safety.
"One from ancient Sinnoh, that is," Ingo clarified.
"Wait so...that was all an illusion?" You stared down at the tracks where you and Emmet previously laid.
Oh Arceus, you had nearly died. The realization sunk in and you felt sick. Hot tears spilled from your eyes. You collapsed, but the pair caught you and held you close. You sobbed into one of their coats and your throat began to sting from your wails.
"It's going to be okay, you're safe with us," Ingo said, rubbing your back.
"Mhm, we would never let you come to harm!" Emmet smiled. "Ingo has captured the pokemon so it won't be a problem anymore!"
"That is correct, Zoroark will no longer be a hazard." The older twin looked to his brother. "Emmet, why don't we shut down for the night and return to our stations...all of us could use the rest."
"Sleepover?" Emmet beamed. His brother chuckled. Your cries dissipated as the three of you exited the station and planned the rest of the night, full of laughter.
...
I do hope this tale serves as a warning to whoever else may become a victim of the ghost train...or anything else even more sinister lurking in the dark.

mmmmmore sugar daddy submas :)
Pairing: Ingo x gn!Reader, Emmet x gn!Reader (mentioned)
Warnings: Sugar Daddy-esque relationship
Once you three get more comfortable with each other after a few events, Ingo and Emmet ask you to go on a day out with them. They'd like to get to know you better. Ingo will take you out in the morning, then trade you off to Emmet in the afternoon so that they can each still work a half day at the station.
Your morning with Ingo starts with a visit to a cute local diner, where he lets you order whatever you'd like on his tab as the two of you chat. He presents a few ideas for your morning together. One of which is a request that you visit the fashion district together. This surprises you. Ingo's explanation comes quickly.
"I'd like to get to know your sense of style. After all, if you're going to continue to come to events with us, you'll need more than just two or three outfits."
And that's how you find yourself in a high-end clothing store being fussed over by the Trevithick's personal favorite tailor. Ingo sits in a plush chair and watches. The tailor hand-selects a few pieces that you're far too afraid to look at the price tag for and has you change into them one by one in a side room.
They're all stunning on you. You can see why this tailor is a favorite of the twins. Each piece of clothing's color, texture, and cut seems to work with you in a way that even the "fancy" clothes you'd worn for previous events didn't. Ingo watches unmoving from his armchair, with a seemingly reserved expression each time you step out of the changing rooms. Still, you know him well enough by now to know he's enjoying himself watching you.
Until...
You find a piece that seems to click. It's like magic as you look into the mirror before you. You turn for yourself, admiring the perfect fit of it. It accentuates all of the right places and seems to make every insecurity invisible. Delicate crystals glitter along your shoulders in cascading patterns. Their sparkle brings out the twinkling of your eyes. A feeling that's warm and lovely stirs in your heart as you examine yourself.
Crucially, this outfit is all black. Ingo's color.
You keep your eyes on him as you step out. His back straightens immediately upon seeing you. Slowly he stands from his seat and makes his way to you. The look on his face is like he can't believe you exist.
His voice is breathy and uncharacteristically quiet, "Bravo! You're a vision! You look like you stepped out of a beautiful dream." Then turning to the tailor, "We'll take it. And that silver one they liked too. Please, have them adjusted for the proper measurements. Can we expect to pick them up in the usual timeline?"
The tailor cheerfully confirms, and when they calculate the total you nearly choke.
"Ingo, that's way too much! I couldn't possibly-!"
"Nonsense! As I said, you need more formalwear, and I... truly," He places a hand on your waist, gently, almost reverantly. It sends tingles up your spine, "I would like to see you in this again."

Mine
Ingo x gn!reader
Ingo's more possessive than he once was
NSFW below
Ingo's return was sudden but welcomed, he was surprised to see you have been filling in his place for him. He was happy for you and Emmet because it would have been hard, running a Subway with only one boss, and you are doing such a great job.
Ingo was ecstatic to return back to work but his therapist advised him to at least take a month off before going back to work suddenly after a severe traumatic experience. To fill his Subway needs every day he would come and visit Gear Station and hang out with his partner and brother.
However he can't help but notice how popular you were, which wasn't inherently bad he was happy for you truly he was, but...
It was the way other passengers looked at you he couldn't quite explain it their eyes half lit when they listened to you talk, gawking behind them to steal glances.
It wasn't just at the subway either...
Was he always been like this? he doesn't remember. You seem so surprised by his actions.
During one of their shopping trips another shopper casually flirted with you, you laughed it off and turned it down saying that you're already in a relationship but Ingo couldn't help but feel a burn in his chest. It didn't feel like enough his hand grabbed the hips pulling you towards him still looking at the person.
You took him out for ice cream was sitting on a park bench ingo noticed someone looking at you he scoots closer and kisses your neck.
Even his brother wasn't safe you, Ingo noticed that the two of you got along extremely well now, when he saw the two of you having an engaging conversation he walked up behind you wrapping his arms around you, giving your shoulders multiple kisses to hog your attention.
Even the depo agents were completely enamored with you... he has been gone for so long and he left you all alone with so many eyes on you... his chest swelled
Without a second thought, He got up from the bench walking over to you with a smile.
" excuse me boss, I need your attention for a second"
Your eyes light up smiling and nodding as you follow behind ingo.
You didn't think for a second when he walked through a set of doors leading into his old office. Everything was just how he left except it was cleaning and an extra coat and hat hanging on a coat rack.
Your fingers gently touch the desk reminiscing of the past of the past, turning your head after doing the lock click only for Ingo's tounge to taste yours bending you down against the desk slamming both hands on the wood.
Ingo pulls away from your lips giving you hungry look,
" hands and stomach on the desk... I need to reclaim what's mine." He let out a growl that made you shiver you didn't need to be told twice.
He pulled down your pants his rough calloused hands feeling and rubbing your soft bum before
Smack!
You moan was a little too quiet for his liking his other hand grabbing your bottom jaw fingers on your tongue. He leaned his hips forward grinding his straining bulge against your ass
Smack!
Ingo's breath hitches when his name leaves your lips, his hand leaves your stinging bum deciding he wasn't going to punish you further.you heard his belts being fumbled his pants dropping and the wet Strokes of his cock.
That's more like it~ your yells of pleasure will always drive him crazy know how to how much he has changed.
" This ass is mine"
Smack!
" say it! Say that you belong to me!"
Ingo demands and his Warden tone of voice. All you did was moan and whimper at his sudden dominance.
Smack!
"I said, Say it!"
"Ingo! Ingo, im yours only yours, I belong to you,"
Usually his hungry mouth would be on you making you scream but Ingo just wants to be inside of you right now.
He soaked his fingers in saliva as he plays with your hole shallowly thrusting and working it loose for his bigger twitching cock.
"This hole is mine, it belongs to me"
Ingos wet fingers scissoring inside of you felt so good, arcing your back trying to get him deeper while you sucking on the fingers in your mouth.
His teasing fingers are replaced with the head of his hard precum slick cock, he groans slowly working his big dick veiny inside you. He slaps his hand over your mouth as he slams inside of you muffleing your screams. His nails dig into your plush hips driving himself deep into you over and over. The force causes the desk to creek as it moves with ingo's thrusts.
However this isn't enough
"Ah! Hah! Fuck! leg up on the desk please."
You lift on your legs up to rest it on the wood, the new angle was heaven for the two of you.
Ingo was hitting every spot that made you scream Nails digging and clawing into the wood.
The angle was melting control like a hot iron with butter. His cock twitched his balls felt too tight, he needed to cum and he needed it now
"So close my love! Cum! Cum for me! Scream my name, make sure everybody knows that you're mine!"
He yelled pace quickening chasing his high you feel his goatee scratching against your back when he leans forward to sink his teeth into the back of your neck
You jump and spasm "INGO!" Your walls tightened around his cock as you cum.
His eyes roll back following suit pulling out just in time to spill his seed on your bare back.
His chest heaves bathing in the Afterglow, ingo gives you like kisses all over your neck and shoulders. Ingo's possessive fire was quickly replaced by guilt.
" I apologies I... "
You turn your head and kiss him.
" I know... don't be sorry I am yours forever and always, no matter how much time we spend apart it will never change how much I love you"
Ingo smiles hiding his red face by nuzzling into your neck "thank you...i love you too"

You looked at your outfit one last time. “Ok I’m ready.” you smiled and locked eyes with Carlisle through the mirror. He returned your smile and stood up from his place at the bottom of your bed.
“You look as beautiful as ever.” he took your hand gently as you turned towards him and placed a kiss on it. “Shall we?”
You nodded and started to walk through your house towards his car parked outside. He opened the passenger's side door and let you slip inside before moving around to the other side and taking his own seat. It took mere seconds for him to start the car and pull away from the house.
“Carlisle?”
“Yes?”
“Is everything ok? You’ve barely spoken since you came over. Did those phone calls go ok?”
“Everything’s ok. I apologise for not being talkative and not seeing you yesterday, it's just…” he looked at you briefly “After making the phone calls everyone arrived at the house. They’re keen to meet you.” he paused  “Tonight.”
Your heart skipped a beat and increased in pace, the man could definitely hear it. “Is that a good thing or bad thing?” you nervously laughed.
“Surprisingly, Rosalie and Emmet have been defending you. Jasper is very apprehensive and Alice can’t get a concrete read on you so is neutral at present but wants to see me happy and knows I am.” he sighed “Edward is being a hypocrite and doesn’t want to jeopardize what he has with Bella and Renesme. Bella supports us.”
You let out a breath that you didn’t know you’d been holding. “Ok.”
“Ok?” he laughed
“Yeah ok. If it needs to be done it needs to be done.”
“Are you not scared?”
“You know I am”
He smiled “I’m sorry I wasn’t able to spend more time with you after they turned up. I don’t even want to know the thoughts that were going through your head.”
“I’m ok. I was ok. Just you calling yesterday to tell me everything was fine and to still get ready for tonight was enough.”
“I shouldn’t have ghosted you like that though. You deserved to know what was happening.”
“But I know now don’t I?” you let the statement sit before moving the conversation on. Both of you were quick to accept what had happened over the past couple of days. “So how boring do you think tonight’s going to be?”
He smiled “It’s going to be a bunch of boring old people competing about how much money they can donate.”
“Old men hey? You’ll fit right in.” you joked.
He laughed “It looks like I will.”
“When it comes to donating what happens?”
“People donate prior and the top donator is given a shoutout at the end of the evening with the total they donated and the overall amount raised from the event. Donors tend to boast in conversation about how much they’ve donated.”
“And you?”
“I stay quiet. I’ve already made a donation.”
“I see. How do you decide how much?”
“I contribute a large sum every time under an anonymous name so people can’t trace it back over the years.”
“Clever.”
“Thank you. Thought of that one myself.” he once again joked.
You smiled and before long you were pulling up outside the venue. The man got out of the car quickly and was at your side opening your door. He smiled and put his hand out to you.
You placed your hand in his and felt his cool touch, smiling sweetly at the man you stood up and took a couple of steps, allowing him to lock up the car and escort you inside.
The hall had been decorated to match the black tie dress-code. Drinks were flowing and music played as you stepped into the space, people were dancing in the centre of the room. You were keeping up pace with Carlisle until he stopped in his tracks. You felt his hand gently squeeze yours.
“You must be Doctor Cullen. We’ve been speaking over email.”
“Doctor Phillips, it’s nice to finally meet you.”
“And this is?”
“My girlfriend Y/N, Y/N Y/L/N.”
“Girlfriend hey? Well it’s lovely to meet you Miss Y/L/N.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you too.” you smiled and Carlisle took over the conversation, knowing you had no clue what to talk about with the man. After all this was your first charity event.
It didn’t take long for a crowd of Doctors to form.
“Last year I donated $25,000 but this year I upped it to $40,000.”
“$40,000? Why didn’t you just make it $50,000.” a man by the name of Reeds spoke.
You smiled and subtly squeezed Carlisle hand and the man smiled in response. He knew how stupid you thought Doctor Reeds had been all night, boasting about money and work.
“Excuse us. We’re going to make the most of the music.” Carlisle spoke up when the conversation quietened a little.
The rest of the group realised that the main musicians of the night were playing and all soon followed suit. Joining you and Carlisle into walking to the dancing area, away from Doctor Reeds.
You were slightly nervous at the prospect of dancing. “It’s going to be ok, trust me.” Carlisle whispered close to your ear.
“I know. I had an excellent teacher.”
The man guided you as you moved to the slightly upbeat music. As time passed and the two of you laughed and joked the night away.
Carlisle pulled you close for the final dance before the speeches and announcements. Your bodies were impossibly close as you swayed slowly and lovingly to the slow song.
The man moved his hand from your waist briefly to tuck some hair behind your ear. His hand lingered and your eyes met his but were soon moving from his eyes to lips. It didn’t take long for him to dip his head and place his lips to yours in a sweet kiss before pulling away.
The music stopped and everyone started to clap. You and Carlisle joined in and turned towards the stage to see a man approaching the microphone.
“Thank you for being here tonight. I hope you’ve all enjoyed yourselves. Now if you’d like to take a seat, get comfy we’re about to have some long boring speeches.`` The man attempted to joke but the room was very dry with their response.
“Could we please welcome Doctor Till to the stage please.”
The crowd applauded as Doctor Till approached the stage and Carlisle wrapped his arm around you and led you to a table nearby. Pulling out a seat he allowed you to sit down before taking his own next to you.
The two of you watched the speeches as they happened. You were interested in them but couldn’t say you understood them all entirely. Carlisle reached his hand out to you under the table and you intertwined his with yours and held it on your lap. He traced patterns with his thumb on the back of your hand, a small smile appearing on his face as he tried to keep his attention on the stage.
Soon the speeches were over and the presenter returned to the stage. “Now it’s time to announce how much we’ve raised.” the man opened the envelope in front of him and cleared his throat. “This time we have collectively raised $800,000 for research and donations to local hospitals which tops last years amount. The biggest donor is anonymous and donated $200,000, the biggest single donation we’ve seen in these parts.”
The crowd once again erupted in applause and you peered at Carlisle and you gave him a smile knowing the big donation was from him. He simply shrugged and continued to clap with the rest of the room.
Before long the hall was clearing out and the two of you were walking to the car. You felt your heart rate pick up and your nerves set in as what was about to come hit you. You stopped in your tracks and it was if Carlisle knew this was coming.
“Y/N it’s going to be ok.”
“What if the rest hate me?”
“They won’t. Trust me.” you let out the breath you didn’t know you’d been holding and your breathing picked up in pace. “Y/N it’s ok.”
You nodded to yourself and started walking towards the car again and nodded “I know. I know. I’m just nervous I’m being silly. I’m sorry.”
He kept up to your pace “You’re not it’s understandable. If you don’t want to I can speak to them and tell them-”
“No it’s ok. If I don’t do it now when will I? I can’t let you down.”
He took your hand in his as you got to the car “You could never let me down.”
You let out a shaky breath and composed yourself “Thank you. You couldn’t let me down either. Thank you for tonight I really enjoyed it.”
“No. Thank you for joining me. I love you.”
“I love you too.”
He smiled and leaned in to press a kiss to your forehead before opening the passengers side door and allowing you to slip in. As you buckled your seat belt he moved to the driver's seat and started the vehicle, quickly pulling away from the venue.
