I see so many well intentioned women talking about how modesty is important when it comes to men's objectification of them. Like, they will condemn men's lust, but say, "but we have to do our part too." I just need you guys to understand that there is literally no amount of clothing you can wear to keep men from sexualizing you. It sucks, but it's true.
I dress very modestly by the typical conservative Christian standard... Loose clothing, long dresses/skirts, nothing low cut, etc. Usually the only skin I expose is my forearms, neck, and face... But I am not exempt from being sexualized. I can't tell you how many times I've heard stuff like, "it's so hot when women leave things up to the imagination" and "I love your librarian/teacher vibe, it's so sexy." Men sexualize nuns and muslim women, who are completely covered. No woman is exempt from this.
Why is this important? So you can stop blaming yourself for men treating you like sexual potential instead of a person and hold men accountable for their own willful inability to control themselves.
To the Christian women, you are not responsible for men choosing to lust after you. Lust is a choice. I am same-sex attracted, and when I find myself attracted to a woman, I simply choose not to fantasize and lust after her. Men are capable of the same, they just like to shift blame.
As a Christian, I dress modestly as an act of humility more than anything else, but I know there is nothing I can do to control the sinful actions of men. Please stop blaming yourselves.

Over-Heated
Apparently the characters in Suzie Comics are interchangeable with Jughead and Betty.
Samm Schwartz mixes up where he shifts to his silhouette standard.
So. Who wears it better?
Not going to give you Jughead's behind.
If you compile some "Bughead canon" I guess you would put this story in, and it has entered Archie Comics's semi-archival "Best of" pile. But working against that is that it is just a rehash of someone else's story -- we are still reading Suzie and Ferdie, or Ferzie if you will. I gather the rehash was made in such quick turn around because the editors of Archie did not to waste this on a then fading character and putting it in Jughead granted it more audience.
Suzie is amused. Betty is forlorn, and she just wants to change the topic. That is one difference, at least.

having au thoughts again. mix of a yukuto lives au+ another “but what if bibi and the ryuki twins had known each other” au. in this one bibi was adopted into the ryuki family at a young age (the twins thought she was a superhero bc they saw her run through a wall while on a walk and befriended her like. instantly.) by the time she’s 18 she’s gotten an internship with ABIS thanks to her older brother who works there, and boss is the only person who pauses to wonder why she looks so much like mizuki okiura lmao

my principal just emailed me and another teacher asking to check a kid for dress code violations tomorrow morning and I… 💀 I literally refuse to dress code kids lol because 1) I don’t care and honestly don’t pay much attention to their clothes which just proves that clothes aren’t that distracting!! and 2) I refuse to say anything to a preteen about their attire because the thought of that talk makes me uncomfortable!!! I’m not doing it lol

I have been wearing my altered jeans at work for like two months without a single word from management - and, in point of fact, with numerous compliments from customers, coworkers, and supervisors - but apparently I’m not allowed to anymore? because I guess yesterday someone from corporate saw them and told my manager they weren’t acceptable for work? my trousers have to be a single solid colour (specifically black or dark blue). I need outta this place so bad lmao
