Are there any whump rp discord servers that have more of an 18+ audience (not in an nsfw way just in a mostly older base) ⁉️ I can't find many on Disboard. I joined one, and it is okay, but there are people that are just like 3 years younger than me, but the differences between us and maturity are insane. Which is fine. I just don't fit in, and some of the culture they have created and allowed there isn't something I'm 100% comfortable with.

I am a part of another server that I LOVEE and will never abandon. It's just in a lower activity wave at the moment, and I want more whump anyway and have time for more.

so, the last straw that caused us to seek out CDD only servers.

there was this willogenic gateway system in this mixed origins server, who liked to interact with other people via roleplay. asterisks and dialogue quotes included.

the problem with that was... they liked to try and help systems in the advice channel.

two times we asked for advice there and they just. roleplayed a convenient answer. like, reaching into our headspace to plant a seed for a tree that would help??? it was weird. and they kinda blamed us when we told them "hey that didn't do shit."

and then. well. we needed help a third time, they offered their help, and we said "oh, we're good." they started the roleplay anyways. and they threw, the biggest bitchfit ever when someone pointed out that we said no. they had to be told by a mod that "i'm good" means "i don't want to do that."

we then asked how roleplay would help with people struggling with dissociation. did not get good responses so we left. very much weirded out.

I cannot believe it has taken me this long, but hey, I've never put a discord server together before. To anyone who has messaged me requesting an invite, I will be sending links your way very very soon! Make sure to message me requesting a link if you haven't done so already!

To anyone who has not heard about this server before:

This will be a advlit rp server that currently has all canon characters available. There is much more info on the server itself but I've left a brief synopsis of the plot for people to gauge interest here first. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, send me a message to join the server!

Plot summary:

Lord Voldemort has been defeated. The Second Wizarding War is over. The Ministry of Magic has convened and decided that the population of the Wizarding Society of Britain is in danger. For too long before the war, witches and wizards have struggled to bear more magical children, and even fewer witches and wizards are being born to muggles. Hence, the Marriage Law.

The Ministry deems it necessary to ensure the future of the Magical Population by expediting what, in their eyes, would happen anyways. So the law is set forth, all witches and wizards of marriageable age must be paired, one man and one woman, to be married and have at least one child. The Ministry sets forth a timeline all of Britain's Wizarding Population must adhere to and that includes the seventh years at Hogwarts.

Even the returning students of Harry Potter's year, who have been asked to return to the school for a final year so they may receive their final year of magical training and take their NEWT exams.

And so Harry Potter and his friends, and possible enemies, return to Hogwarts, joining the students of the last sixth year, to be come seventh years once more, except this time they're all engaged.

Looking for Roleplay Partners

I'm Morri, or Mario. I'm twenty-three [23] and I've been roleplaying on and off for as long as I can remember. It's gone hand-in-hand with writing. It's around time I try to start to meet new roleplay partners and expand my network again. I was previously on Wattpad before it met its timely end for most of us. I moved to discord but it went quiet and I have only been in a small circle since. What to expect and know from me? I am honestly bad at replying steadily, but I am ALWAYS talking about the roleplays and making ideas and headcanons with my partner(s). I will reply with lengthy messages for a week, then struggle to form a basic response for a few weeks, then the cycle continues. But I am always dedicated to the roleplay(s) I am in, even if I struggle to show it. I'm also extremely literate. I will give you novella-length responses. I can't do small responses even if I tried, to ask any of my roleplay partners. But I don't expect anyone to match my length! I just ask to not be given one or two sentences to work off of. I LOVE knowing what is going on inside a character's head, or how they're feeling. It really helps to build everything up. I also do third-person only.

And I also ask for 18+ only, please. I feel awkward talking to minors unless it's to basically mentor them.

I also love tropes. Tropes are great. Especially if you break away and add twists to them, and get creative!

I play a vast array of characters. Almost all ocs. The only ones that aren't ocs are based on gods or divine beings. Either way, all my characters are queer, that explore different mental illnesses and backgrounds. I could not play a character that's cishet to save my life(no hate for anyone, it's just something I have struggled with). That's not to say I don't do m/w relationships, because I do. My characters are just not cishet (they're either bi/ace/pan/demi/enby/etc).

I also enjoy mature themes. But I ALWAYS discuss boundaries with my roleplay partners. The dos, the don'ts, the boundaries, the triggers, the likes. A lot of my focus is on fantasy, for the most part. Dark, romantic, historical, epic, horror, you name it. I overall enjoy just about anything? EXCEPT, I stay in my comfort zone. Which is one of the two universes I've world built into existence.

The first is entirely fantasy, with different realms/worlds to explore. A vast array of plotlines to explore. Crime/mafia, piracy, eldritch horrors, kingdom diplomacy, witches. You name it, I have it. Probably too much. I've been told it's overwhelming when I gain a new roleplaying partner.

The other is one I've just recently started to build. It's a bit like POJ and Everafter High met. A bit of fantasy, a bit of history, a bit of religion. Every character is either a demigod, a god, a divine being, a fae, a human, or another being...

It's going on late for me after being awake for seventeen hours, so I'm not doing a lot of justice for my stuff. But I really want more roleplaying partners and friends! I have cute little servers for both universes, building into small communities. And I also have adjacent servers for the novels I'm writing that deal with the plotlines and whatnot.

I don't know what else to say at the moment except please, please, please I am begging you to message me. We can talk here in dms and I'll send you, or you can send me your discord tag so we can move over there and start to plot! I should probably get to bed now. Thank you for reading this far.

i've been roleplaying for roughly 12 years. started on quizilla, then wattpad, then kik and amino, and i took a year or so break before i decided to try finding partners on tumblr too c:

— 🐚 i roleplay in 3rd person literate style. anywhere from one paragraph, semi lit, lit, to borderline novella style. i prefer somewhere in the middle, but will match your length/style ! (i will also type in lowercase like this ooc but i promise i have real grammatical skills lmao)

— 🎧 i exclusively roleplay ocs and prefer oc x oc pairings. i will roleplay within fandoms/canon universes, but only with original characters. the exception to this is dragon age (origins, two, or inquisition), in which case i will do either oc x oc or oc x cc pairings. the only chars i wont play in da are cullen and aveline </3 if you want to play canon characters in any of these, thats fine! i just wont do it myself, im not super comfortable with it/afraid of being super ooc

— 🤍 i prefer to do roleplays with romance and much prefer to include smut. (can be occasionally or often, just lemme know how comfy you are with it!) because of this, i wont roleplay with anyone below 20. i'm almost 24 and rpimg smut with anyone younger makes me feel icky. if you never roleplay smut or do so extremely rarely, we probably wouldn't be a very good match :c

— 💭 favorite genres: apocalypse, dystopian, fantasy/occult/supernatural, sci fi, semi historical, historical fantasy, horror adjacent. will do more casual settings, slice of life, college settings, even more cutesie things (preg/family rps, etc).

— 🪩 i have very very few triggers and love exploring dark content and themes (stalking, slashers, blood magic, demons, mental illness, angst, death, etc) alongside everything else, especially in horror adjacent plots. the only thing i have a hard line on is oc/character death (unless we really really discuss it before hand!)

— ✉️ i would prefer to come up with a plot together or discuss things we both want (and possibly create ocs specifically for the roleplay), but i am working on getting some carrds for my currently 'pre-made' ocs and scenarios that i am more than okay with using !! links will be up soon <3

The Burgundia WWII Discord Server! (Roleplay)

Welcome to "Burgundia."

This server was born a long time ago only to be abandoned a few months later, but now the creator of the server plans to have it completely reborn all over again! Based on an original idea of the founder, this community was created for the purpose of roleplay, discussion, and fun while the whole thing is based on an alternate universe focusing on the Axis that may become a book in the near future! Follow the creator of the server as she works on a very big project and who knows, maybe you will be the first to get the book! You can roleplay as original characters and/or historical figures!

PLOT: Unrest, chaos, betrayal. Adolf Hitler's Germany seems to be falling apart in 1942 after Hitler disappears prematurely under mysterious circumstances. Goebbels, Goering and Speer point the finger at Himmler's SS and his trusted right-hand man: Reinhard Heydrich, but they have insufficient evidence to frame them and are punished and sent into exile. The population is in dismay as the Kingdom of Burgundia is formed divided into Burgundia Maior and Burgundia Minor. Problems, however, do not seem to cease as Himmler and Heydrich begin to suspect each other. A war of spies and turncoats begins as resistance groups arise to restore democracy and general order. It will all drag into a final, inevitable confrontation. Who will prevail? And you...whose side will you be on?
