Touch-Starved

You had stretched out across the backseat of Baby, holding Cas’ tie against your forehead in an attempt to stop the gash on your head from bleeding too badly; what had started out as a simple exorcism had turned into you, Sam, Dean and Cas being outnumbered and barely making it all out alive. You had met Sam and Dean about a year ago now on a Wendigo case and you’d stuck with them ever since. The three of you had become so close you saw them both as your big brothers.

As soon as Dean parked Baby in the garage of the bunker, Sam was out and opening the door for you, offering you his hand to help you out of the car.

‘Sam, I hurt my head not my legs,’ you teased, waving his hand away so you could get out of the car.

‘Forgive me for worrying,’ Sam teased right back, the two of you having always had more of a jokey relationship. ‘Seriously, though, you feeling okay?’

‘Yeah, I’ll just stick a band-aid over this as soon as the bleeding stops and I’ll be good as new,’ you replied, heading into the bunker after Dean.

You and Dean had always had more of an intense relationship, that’s not to say that he still didn’t act like your annoying big brother most of the times but Dean was a lot more protective of you than Sam and he would constantly check in on you when you were on a hunt. You walked through the bunker to the kitchen, knowing that was exactly where I would find Dean. Just like you thought, Dean was leaning against the sink, lifting a beer bottle to his lips. From the way his shoulders were set, you could tell that he wasn’t happy.

‘Hey,’ you greeted as you walked over to the fridge and grabbed a beer for yourself.

‘Why didn’t you move out of the way?’ Dean asked bluntly but you knew that he was referring to earlier on when he told you to move out of the way of the demon who was aiming for you which is how you ended up cracking your head on a metal bar that was laying on the floor when you went down, leading to the gash on your forehead.

‘Because I was fine, besides, it’s no big deal, I’m gonna get a cool scar and that’s about it.’

‘That’s not the point, (y/n), you hit your head, it could have been so much worse than just a cut on your head, it could have killed you!’

‘What’s up with you? I’ve hit my head loads and you’ve never been this mad at me.’

‘I’m not mad, I just worry about you,’ Dean said, softening his tone and setting his beer down behind him. ‘It’s just that I’ve never had a little sister and I don’t want anything to happen to you.’

‘I get it, I’ve never had any siblings and I didn’t grow up with parents who were there for me. I’ve always had to look out for myself so I don’t think when I get into situations like that because I’ve never had anyone looking out for me,’ you said quietly, looking at your feet and your fingers fiddling with the label on your bottle.

You heard Dean’s footsteps get closer to you and you felt his arms wrap around you, pulling you into a hug. Despite enjoying the feel of his arms around you, you couldn’t help the flinch and shudder that ran through your body and Dean, being the hunter he was, obviously noticed and pulled back slightly, dropping his arms from around you. You quickly masked the small frown that worked its way onto your face when you were disappointed that he had let go.

‘Everything okay? Are you hurt somewhere else?’ Dean asked, eyes scanning across you, looking for any sign that you were injured.

‘No, everything’s fine, it’s just that felt really nice,’ you trailed off quietly, hoping that Dean hadn’t heard you.

‘So why did you flinch?’ Dean pressed, clearly not willing to let the subject drop.

‘No one’s ever hugged me before,’ you said quickly, wanting to get it out there before you decided against it.

‘What do you mean no one’s hugged you before?’

‘You, Sam and Cas are the only people I’ve really spent a lot of time with and after our hunts, we usually just go off into our rooms to wind down.’

‘So, let me get this right,’ Dean said, stepping closer towards you again, ‘in your whole like you’ve never been hugged? What about when anyone else has touched you?’

‘That’s the thing, most of the times anyone touches me, it’s when I’m getting the crap beaten out of me on a hunt.’

Instead of saying anything else, you saw Deans eyes soften and he quickly threw his arms back around your body, holding you tightly against him and resting his head on top of yours. You sighed and wrapped your arms around him in return, breathing in the scent of his beer-ironed shirt.

‘This is nice,’ you whispered, feeling as if Dean was physically holding you together at that moment.

‘I know,’ he said into your hair, pressing a kiss to the top of your head before pulling his head back to look at you. ‘Anytime you want a hug, you come to me alright? Day, night, whatever, I’ll always be here to give you a hug.’

Supernatural season 14

Oh boy!

So Alt-Michael has taken over Dean’s body and absconded to parts unknown - what an unprecedented plot twist who could’ve possibly seen this coming, certainly not Dean, the one guy who doesn’t trust angels and has a history of being short-sighted & making shitty deals.

Since this is season 14, and there’s only 1 more season after this, I presume Dean will never grow out of these bad qualities 🤦🏾‍♀️, so…moving on.

Check you out Sam, leading your new band of hunters, like some sort of Hunters Incorporated©️. I’m glad Sam gets to spend more time with his mom, but he won’t let her take care of him 😔😭

Was it me or did that Michael & Anael scene feel like Jensen x Danneel role play 🤣 - at least when he caressed her face. Like really bro? I don’t think the scene would’ve played out that way if the actors weren’t actual husband and wife 🤣

Shoutout to Supernatural for keeping Mark Pellegrino employed lol 😂😂 cuz I don’t see Why the fuck he’s still around if the devil is supposedly dead - wasn’t Mark P. also doing 13 reasons why around this time?? Anywho, Nick, luci’s longtime vessel, isn’t dead???? What does Nick have that jimmy novak didn’t (or literally any other angel vessel for that matter) — plot convenience? That must be it 🤣🤣🤣

Cas honey, why are you letting these demons beat you up? Cuz Dean is gone on your watch? cuz im sorry there’s no way im believing Cas was weaker than all them demons. That’s also plot convenience IDGAF!

After yet another demon-hunter showdown, Mary and Bobby are spotted sharing a beer & flirting…I wish John were around to see this AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Oh Jack, poor guy feels worthless for having no power. He should’ve been like ‘Castiel what’s it like being worthless?’ since that was Castiel’s arc for a minute too, which again fuck Supernatural for. Cas had like 1 badass moment last season when he fried Donatello’s brains but that’s it. Meanwhile Nick totally called Cas out, bringing up Jimmy again and driving that guilt straight into Castiel.

Alt-Michael is recruiting?? Brief Dean cameo in 14x02, you give him like 2 lines, wow 😒. Even Sam got more screen time in 5x22 swan song…but Dean suddenly comes back at the end of the episode???? Nah, bullshit!

Also lol karma for Dean in 14x02 when Jack is like, ‘Dean doesn’t matter’, Michael has to be stopped. Ahahahahahahaha. He was the so called pragmatist when it came to Jack, now it’s Jack’s turn. Castiel’s face when jack said it tho…

Dean got stabbed by AU Kaia? What?? Oh look yet another instance of Dean running away from his problems and pain and being a dick to Kaia (though she's technically a different person) again! Good for you tho AU Kaia for giving Dean a taste of his own medicine and telling him off.

So some necromancer gets away from Jack & Dean but we’re not gonna see her again, right??? There’s just a little over 30 episodes left in the show at this point. They probably didn’t know that at the time though.

Shoutout to the devil for basically condemning his child to die from a lack of grace :/ while Cas was able to survive (cuz plot convenience most likely) Jack as a nephilim was unable to do so. Gabe’s spare angel grace couldn’t help (I wonder if he were still alive in canon, if it would’ve made a difference. Oh well).

So this is where Cas made the deal with the empty (yes I know about it, how doesn’t everyone that shit went viral the very night it originally aired amidst the infamous nail-biting 2020 election week), tumblr is still serving the memes to this day.

Cas doesn’t want the Winchesters to know cuz Dean 😭 idc, if I was Jack I would NOT keep that secret. Dean would know IMMEDIATELY.

I think more angels died, but heaven hasn’t fallen yet…right? They keep coming back to that. Hm…

Nick’s arc is…bleh. Pretty sure in his desperation he just brought Luci back from the empty…welp. I guess when you’re an archangel who was predestined by God to fight in a fateful epic battle against your big bro, you just get certain perks in the afterlife 😒

Sam doesn’t want Alt-Charlie to go when its like bro! She. Is. Not. Charlie!!! For fuck sake guys SMH, let her live her fucking life! God forbid she want to run away to fucking safety and not die bloody like her counterpart 🤬

Bobby and Mary run off to a cabin for weeks on end 😏😂 to recuperate, sure Mary 🤣

Garth is back! Working as a spy for the Winchesters, oh dear Lord no. I know he makes it to season 15 but maaaan I don't like this….

The nerve of Dean to challenge Alt-Kaia to either hand over the weapon or kill her. What if she just killed him? Also, can't they just replicate the weapon for their own uses? All they would need to do is ensure they're using the same materials Kaia did when she forged the weapon in her own world.

How many hits to the head is Sam supposed to fuckin' take? I feel like it's happened more in this season alone than the entire show so far? He should probably be dead at this point 🤣

Jack got taken, oh no! why didn't Michael kill him? To take him as a ward? Seriously? Whatever.

And it turns out the past episode was a long con to get Dean right where Alt-Michael wanted him. I know there was a catch to him letting Dean go in 14x02.

So Alt-Michael chose to trap Dean in…contentment? With Pamela Barnes? And they weren't even a couple, just friends. She called him out on something.

Why not have him be with a real girlfriend of his, like Lisa or even Cassie? I’m supposed to believe Dean's dream is an unsuccessful bar living out his days with a platonic lady friend??? Really??? Bullshit!

John returns for the final time to go back to 2003? Okay. His hair is cut and grayish. Lol so I’m gonna see that as John gained some weight (from food/drink or muscle training idc) and dyes his hair black but the root are grey and come out every so often 🤣 but yay JDM I wish you had been in more episodes! Oh well.

So no one’s gonna talk about:

a) Adam’s existence

b) Bobby X Mary or how Bobby essentially replaced john as the father/husband by getting involved with Mary AND being a surrogate father to Sam & Dean (with a clear preference to Dean but whatever)

I’d care more about Sam & John’s convo if we had more time with them together on screen. But it was nice to see them squash their beef.

Dean & John’s convo was faaaar too brief. But insightful to their relationship. John wanted dean to have a family, echoing his wishes for his eldest in season 1 in his convo w/ Sam.

But Dean was like I have a family 🥺 my emotions!

Back to the Michael bullshit – a fight with a gorgon fucked up his containment so he literally broke out of Dean's body and killed all the hunters who were conveniently at the bunker when they brought an unconscious Dean back there. Even poor unfortunate Maggie. For a second I thought Mary would be there since Maggie mentioned she was on her way back but no, he ended up possessing Rowena.

Then they bring the old angel torture device of disabling our heroes' ability to breathe, like in the season 5 premiere, making them blind (that's new) and making them hurt.

Jack gets his chance to take Michael down, and takes his grace??????

Oh Sam bby, it's not your fault. Those people were doomed no matter what. TBH I'm surprised they lasted this long. But cuz he's a Winchester and he was raised by Dean & they've rubbed off each other too much at this point (nobromo), he decides to focus on yet another case even when Dean himself isn't willing since big bro has pointed out they have done 3 cases back to back. They're not the young men they used to be lol.

Cas goes with Sam to a milkshake town and given his legendary levels of awkwardness he's immediately seen and called out for his inherent queerness by the townsfolk (in all senses of the word).

Aw Sam wants to stay, ofc he does. This town is simple and peaceful. He could use some of that. Too bad this place is making people's heads explode.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Ah subtle there Supernatural, making Jack, a Nephilim who's the offspring of the devil himself choose between angel and devil food cake 🤣 Dean why would you put him in that position?

Oftentimes since Jack started in this show, he's felt like an intern and 14x16 is one of those times. They don't wanna bring jack along so they think to leave him alone doing chores. Good Lord.

Oh honey Sam you didn't have to tell the sheriff you're not FBI, just stick to the monster stuff. He knows what's up.

And Jack sweetie pie you don't need to impress those kids. He should be hanging out with kids his own age. Just Jack with a bunch of babies 🤣. So cute! My headcanon is that he can actually talk to them. At least then it wouldn't have ended with a stabbing. Thankfully he cleaned up his mess, even though the local kids are terrified of him. It’s a shame he doesn’t have friends. If only he was allowed to have Claire in his life.

They finally resolved the Nick storyline (I hope) by killing him off via Jack but Mary is not happy. She’s concerned. She’s been concerned about him the whole frickin episode since he sassed her as they tried setting up a game night with Dean.

It’s like these people keep forgetting what Jack is capable of.

He didn’t have to relish the kill though. On the other hand, it felt like Mary’s concern was a bit much — if it were me I would’ve kept my mouth shut as to not upset a powerful fledging being into killing me by accident.

So Mary dies…again.

This is also why we can’t have nice things. I know Dean’s never gonna let this shit go. Sure Cas has fucked up a bunch, but killing a direct blood relative of Dean’s…nope. That’s unforgivable. I know they’re not gonna let Dean kill off a kid but I know he’s NEVER ever gonna forget Jack’s role in Mary’s (second) demise.

Why couldn’t you leave the boy alone Mary?!?!?!!?!

The boys show up, did they not circle back to pick up their mother? Seriously? Goodness Lord. So depressing watching the brothers just assuming their mommy’s coming back 😭

Cas (cuz of course this shit went tits up while Daddy was away) calls Dean to get caught up on what happened the last episode and is concerned that the Winchesters left their mom alone with Jack. Then why did you leave him Cas? You could’ve taken him with you. Like it would’ve been better if one of the brothers was alone with Jack? Badasses they may be, but they would’ve ended up just like Mary let’s be honest. The only difference would’ve been whichever brother got got would’ve come back. Mary will not be getting that special treatment…

Jack is tripping out since he murdered his foster G-maw - ends up flying all over the world (so his soul is definitely gone? But if it were gone, would he even care about killing Mary? everyone’s trying to track him down IDK why he doesn’t just destroy the phone he has. We get flashes of Mary & Jack’s time together and technically I believe she spent the most time with him (at least in season 13)

They’re still giving Mark P work on this show making him the manifestation of Jack’s subconscious cuz the kill is driving Jack insane 😭🥺 He’s reacting so much like a little boy who knows he fucked up it that makes this so much sadder 😭 Jack’s being driven mad with grief.

Oh fuck they’re going to where she died. Oh fuck.

Sam was outed to love Celine Dion (I love her two Sammy it’s ok, her songs are AMAZING! My favorite is it’s all coming back to me now, I crush that shit in karaoke.) Dean follows a mommy blog 🤣 of course he does, probably cuz he identifies with her more & loves that her life is so full of shit (like I said, he identifies with her).

God don’t sanction lying, the real God would never do such a thing. Isn’t it like the 6th commandment, thou shall not lie? Like dude, the fuck?!

And no, writing means telling stories that are often made up but it’s not meant to deceive anybody. But Hollywood on the other hand…yeesh.

When Sam asks if God is watching them — Sam do you even know what omnipotent means?!

It’s just like I said in season 11. God doesn’t owe anyone anything. But everyone owes Him everything. He gave everyone the freedom to choose, for better or worse. But this iteration of who God is seems to watch what people and creatures decide to do with their lives. He made the weapon to see who among Sam, Dean or Cas would take it and strike Jack down.

So ultimately when Dean tracks Jack down and Jack throws Cas into a tombstone and Sam is running dramatically to stop it, Dean ultimately decides not to kill Jack. But why though? He kept talking shit about how Jack needed to be dealt with, but when the moment comes, he won’t do it?! I mean I’m glad but it doesn’t really make sense?!

Was it the puppy eyes? Did Sam teach Jack that trick? But Jack closed his eyes at the last second???

Oh Dean, you’re such a fucking softie. That’s on you God. You made him softer than Mr. Pillsberry.

If anything, Dean is the step daddy. Cas is Daddy. And then there’s Uncle Sam 🤣

Sam is many things, but stupid is never one of them. Naïve maybe, trusting, desperate. But not stupid. And not crazy, this time 🤣

I will say what makes this story compelling is the fact that the Winchesters find themselves locked in a cycle of violence at the hands of their Creator, and they’re refusing to commit further acts of violence in effort to stop it all and rebel against their cruel, dispassionate maker. But they have no means to back it up…today.

Sam, why did you think that was gonna work on God? He made the weapon. You really think He’d make something that could kill Himself? Nah bruh.

So we’ve approached the ending of the penultimate season. 20 more episodes to go! Ah!!!! I’m excited but also not since the ending is what I know (mildly).

Side note - Sam & Dean still don’t know about Castiel’s bargain with the Empty (kinda seems pointless since God killed Jack anyway…Cas basically fucked himself for nothing 🤦🏾‍♀️ [I know how it ends but yeah still])

It’s not about the destination though, it’s the journey (I keep telling myself that).

God said fuck y’all. Shouldn’t’ve poked the bear…now these poor innocent people gonna die like sheep to the slaughter. Y’all got a lot of cleaning up to do and with so little people to help you.

So did God undo all the killings the Winchesters did? Cuz damn….that’s 10+ years of work undone. In 1 moment.

They’re not getting out of the cycle anytime soon.

Maybe I’m the odd one out here but What is and What Should Never Be always absolutely destroys me. I weep for almost the entire episode.

Dean has a home. He has someone who loves him. His life is normal and safe. And I cry.

The way he looks at Mary when he sees her for the first time. The way he nearly crumbles when she says “I told you angels were watching over you”. And then he hugs her with everything he has. He’s so happy to be back with him mom, back in his childhood home. His mom makes him lunch and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to him. He gets to mow the lawn like a normal person. The trunk of his car isn’t full of weapons. He’s just ordinary, and he’s so happy about it. So I cry.

And the way he hugs Jess? He only ever met the girl once but he knows how much she means to Sam. And he knows that losing her almost killed his brother. And so he hugs her as tight as he can, because he’s so thrilled that she’s alive and Sam is happy. And I cry.

But what also kills me is the way that Sam and his mom talk about Dean. They’re always asking if he’s been drinking. They’re suspicious of all of his actions and his affections. Maybe the version of Dean from this life wasn’t exactly on the straight and narrow, but they talk about him like he’s a deadbeat. So I cry.

Jesus Christ, and when Dean goes to talk to his dad at the cemetery?

“It's like my old life is… is coming after me or something. Like it like it doesn't want me to be happy. Course I know what you'd say. Well, not the you that played softball but... "So go hunt the Djinn. He put you here, it can put you back. Your happiness for all those people's lives, no contest. Right?" But why? Why is it my job to save these people? Why do I have to be some kind of hero? What about us, huh? What, Mom's not supposed to live her life? Sammy's not supposed to get married? Why do we have to sacrifice everything, Dad?”

He doesn’t say “why can’t I have the life I want?” Sure, he asks why he has to be a hero. But he makes it more about Sam and his mom. Because he wants them to have the lives they deserve. And this moment just gives us another look at what a bastard John was. Dean knew how dismissive and rude John would be. He knew that John would never choose his own son’s happiness over the lives of strangers. And he’d probably scream at Dean for even considering the “selfish” option. The way Dean says that his old life doesn’t want him to be happy also kills me. Because it’s like, no matter where he goes or what he does, he’s destined for misery. So I sob.

And so Dean goes to hunt the Djinn. He chooses the lives of others over everything, like he always does. And he realizes his new life isn’t real. He realizes he’s been unconscious this entire time, and that Jess is dead. His mom is dead. Carmen doesn’t really exist. And I cry.

So he’s ready to kill himself, but the way that his family tries to convince him to stay?

Oh my god. Spiegel im Spiegel starts playing, and Sam asks “why’d you have to keep digging?”

Mary tells him to put the knife down. She says it doesn’t matter that this life isn’t real, it’s still better than anything he had before. And that yeah, in real life, he will die in a few days. But it will feel like years. And there will be “No more pain. Or fear. Just love and comfort. And safety,” none of which Dean has in his real life

But Dean still chooses to return to his life, because he cares more about our saving people than he does about his own happiness.

And he tells Sam about the fake life the djinn created for him. About how Sam was happy with Jess. And their mom was going to have grandchildren. Sam commends him for having the strength to fight it, to leave it behind. And Dean says, “But I wanted to stay. I wanted to stay so bad. I mean, ever since Dad... all I c– all I can think about is how much this job's cost us. We've lost so much. We've... sacrificed so much.”

and it’s like, damn. Why can’t Dean ever be truly happy? Cause even in this “happy” version of his life, everything was tinged with pain and sadness and grief. And I just wish he could get a break. So I cry and cry and cry and cry.

The warm sunlight's glade through the open windows curtains as you and you and your love of your life lay peacefully. Never in million year you thought that you will get to live the dream life you always wanted with guy you hopelessly and enormously in love with, an energic dog that always love to steal your attention every time he waltzes in, a peaceful home where you don't have to worry about anything nor your family chewing on every breath you take or friends who always around when they only wanted something. This is all you wanted, needed and dreamed off.

"What is going on that pretty head of yours? "

you heard his in raspy morning voice, The voice that you would love to hear for all eternity. You glanced at him to see his mesmerizing green eyes staring back you.

" Just thinking about how life is awful back then "

You said with laughing following in behind he joins in with you. Seeing the pure happiness on your face making his heart flutters. He could help but put his arms around you and pulled you closer to his side and you both sigh at feeling of being in each other's arms. The pure blissful moment was interpreted when a golden fluffy ball come in between the two of you and made himself home in your chest.

" Sometimes, I wonder if he is trying to steal you from me "

Your husband says and you chuckle and rub your dog's ear.

"Aww but I love you babe, don't worry your still my favorite"

max who probably smarter than average dogs you looked at you with what you assume 'are you serious ' face at you.

"I'm kidding" you whispered

"I heard that " comes from your husband who getting himself out of the bed and going to bathroom.

"So are you going to work today or are you going help unpack the boxes because there is a lot and i don't want to do it all by myself" the two of you moved in new house for fresh start leaving everything behind and having new start is what you always wanted and luckily your husband also happy about that idea.

" Trust me I don't want leave you alone especially when we are new in this area and doesn't really know how the people in here. But you know I have to go to the station".

It's true after all being with you where he felt more alive and happier and your happiness also what he gives importance to. Starting a relationship with you, falling in love with you, marrying you was the best things that happened to him and he wanted to give you everything and make you smile every day.

" It's okey Dean, I'm so thankful for what you done for me and love you so much "

You said coming behind him wrapping arms around his bare middle.

" I love you too sweetheart, you know I do anything for you my soul "

He turn around to see you lifting your chin up to look at him and he brushes his thump on your lower lip as he leans down to capture your lips in a kiss that rich in love and passion, one that makes your knees weak and heart to rush. his hands moving down your body desperately try get closer to as possible.

tugging on the shirt that he wore last night. his mind racing with last night's memory of how you looked up to him with the needy look on your face as he gives himself to you and how you tasted like fine dessert that still lingering in his tongue every time making him wanting more and take him on another level of ecstasy.

The bliss full moment where neither of you don't want to leave but with Shakey breathe you parts away from him. Before you can speak, he picks you up making you squeak as he continues to move a loud break the two of you as both turn to look at your dog who running towards you. You both look at each before laughing out loud.

"See every time he does this shit, man she is my wife. find someone else"

Dean put his head in neck as you still in his arms as you still laughing.

" Laugh all you want, wait till I get one puppy who loves me and I give all my love and attention to the puppy " he says with a challenging look as he puts you down.

you exit the bathroom to bedroom squeezing your dog in big hug as both make way your way to kitchen.

" Don't burn down the kitchen please we still new " He shouts form bathroom.

" No promise " you say back. You can hear his laugh as you made it to the kitchen.

You look around "That's a lot of boxes "

If your memory was correct, you put some milk and bread in the fridge with couples of things that you don't remember. As you open the fridge you hear sounds of running in living room

"Hey,no running around the room max"you say as you collect the things you need in hands and close the fridge with your foot. As you turn you see max standing in top of one of the boxes in the kitchen his ears sharp staring at living room and starts to bark.

" Hey boy, you want something " He turn to you and come towards you and lay down beside your foot looking up you with round eyes.

You crouch down next to him give him pat on his head.

" How about we have a walk around and how some fun time? How about that" He barks with enthusiasm.

" Good boy " You go back to making breakfast as dean comes wrapping his around your waist giving a kiss on your head.

" You didn't burn down the kitchen woah that's an improvement".

As you open your mouth to defend yourself he cuts you off with kiss" Don't say it's one time it still happened "He starts to take a sip of his coffee and hums.

"Okey I won't, hey I was thinking maybe taking max for a walk get know the place around "you said take a sip of your own coffee.

" Yeah, that good idea, but if you need anything don't hesitate to call okey " he said finishing his own coffee and having some breakfast.

You slap his butt when he gets up "are you assaulting a officer?'" he dramatically gasp at you

"Oh shut, up as if you don't like it "

He shakes his head at you before getting up to leave and as he passes, he rubs max on his back." Hey buddy take care of our girl will ya "and move to the front door.

" Good luck with work I really hope everything will work out I really likes this place" you said following behind him with files on hand.

You hand that him as you reach the front step

" Me too sweetheart, I love you, now give me a good luck kiss" he says pulling you towards him with a smile on his face.

You let out a small giggle and kiss him passionately.

He parts ways from you giving you cheeky wink and get in his car and look back at you mouthing 'I love you ' you repeat the same as drive away.

Both of you not seeing that shadow that watching you form the inside.

You make your way inside the house.Max was biting a box that labeled his name

" alright we unbox some and then we take a walk "a bark was all your answer.

Opening max's box first you give him his toys and move on to next and then to next.

You don't know how many hours passed but you are down to the last box.

You collect the wrapping and torn boxes into a trash bag and walk towards the trash can to dumb it.

"Are you the new resident of this house?" a female voice behind you said. You turn around seeing a woman standing there with a smile on her face.

"Yeah, we just moved here." You tell her feeling her presence only out of pure curiosity

"I'm Amy Peterson, I live down the street with my family. What's your name?"

You tell her your name "well, welcome to our neighborhood. It's a very quiet here but its peaceful. And you don't have worry about noisy neighbor since all the house are in a decent amount of distance"

Nodding your head at the it's also a main reason you and dean decided to move to her. "Yeah, it's nice..." before you can continue max comes running towards you when he saw you chatting with stranger abandoned his toy that he is chewing

You ruffle his hair beside his ears as he stands next you. "Oh, he is beautiful. is it you and this cute alone here?"

You shake your head with a smile on your face "no I'm with my husband."

"you're married, what does he do?" she asks

"Yeah, he is cop" you said proudly

She gives a wide smile "that's wonderful. Good thing now we have cop living here" she laughs. "See you soon, I have to go before my kids flip the house upside down the"

You sigh at her retrieving foam "well good to know we have nice neighbor. Isn't it."

Getting in shower you let the cold water pour down your head and shoulders washing away the soreness. You change into leggings and white sweater combing your hair until you're satisfied with a result. As you promised you took max out for a walk.

Dean was getting to know his co-workers at the station. He assigned with a man named Castiel. "So how you like in it here?" Castile, ask he shows the towns map and some report files with data of some local criminals. "Too early to answer that" he answers observing the file.

"I suppose it is, but our crime rate not that high aside from some random robberies other than that it's quite peaceful here."

"Yeah, my wife always wanted live in quite nice place" dean said "You have wife huh! Seems like those ladies don't know that yet" castile said making dean look up to see two females smiling at their direction dean and Castiel share a chuckle.

You were watching tv when dean came in, max run towards dean huffing demanding for pets from the man.

"You unpacked everything huh?" dean ask he take off his uniform

You nod without taking your eyes off the tv "yep, and I met one of our neighbors and took max out for a walk"

Finally taking off his uniform he pushes your legs apart and lay between them head laying on your chest you run your fingers through his hair making him groan. "Who is this neighbor?"

"Amy Peterson, just street down. How was your day?"

"It was great, apparently there aren't really much of crime here, so that a good thing. My partner also from here castile, seems like great guy" dean glance up at you with a serene look on his face "seems like everything is in favor, baby" he takes in your peaceful relaxed face, that was gone for a past couple of moths but its back now and he never felt so grateful for that.

Your eyes find his face a large grin on your face so it's transferred to his lips as he pulls himself towards you pressing his full lips on yours slowly knowing that he has all time in the world just savoring the feeling of you. You tilt your head side to get deeper hands gripping each other.

Dean hands grip your hip as he presses himself closer to you to feel you near him as close as possible, his grip get stronger as he starts to tug down the waistband of the leggings something fall down in the hallway.

"Shit something broke?" you get with dean as you both walk towards the hallway, a broken glass from the picture that you hung scattered on the floor.

Max walks towards it but dean held him back not wanting him to get hurt "hey you both stay there. I'll clean it up" he said

"You sure?" you ask he nods at you. Taking max with you, you both returns to couch max lie next you his eyes blinking up to you. You ruffle his hair cuddles to him.

im wondering because ive seen a few posts about cas ghosting dean and the only times i can think of that he does that are season 6 fighting the angel war, season 8 running off with the angel tablet, and season 12 going behind his back to steal the colt. which are all situations where hes doing something dean disapproves of/will try to stop him. idk you can debate whether cas was right but it feels very different from this idea that he never answers dean's calls because he just cant be fucked?

ok a few things:

the post was not about the intentions of either character. it was simply highlighting how dean has been "ghosted" and ignored by people he cares about and left to worry for days / weeks / months, not knowing if they were alive or not and how this is a recurring theme in his life. always left waiting and worried / terrified he'll never see someone again. that's all. no one is saying cas is a horrible, Bad, evil, malicious person for doing this or that he ignored dean for the hell of it. simply that his actions, regardless of his reasons, unknowingly hurt dean in a very specific way that mirror's john's actions, unfortunately.

re: intentions, yes most often cas's reasons for not contacting dean are because he's doing something behind the winchester's backs. most often with good intentions! from his POV he thinks he's doing the right thing. cas always wants to take things on himself, and that's part of his own trauma from being seen a tool for heaven for billions of years. he always wants to "prove" his worth. he always wants to come back with a "win" for the winchesters. but that's not something dean puts on him.

and all of those times you listed are times when dean expressed he wanted to help / work together. when cas was fighting his civil war dean asks cas to come to him if he needs help. dean always wants to help / be in the loop so he can help. that's part of why cas fucking off to do his own thing and not telling dean is often perceived as "ghosting." like, good intentions aside, cas often barrels headlong into things that he Knows might not be the "right" thing. Half the time his decisions backfire too. Like going to crowley / opening purgatory + swallowing the souls. running off with the tablet? cas was the one who decided to go off alone and not trust dean. dean wanted cas to stay with them and figure things out together. the colt? dean wanted them to all work together, cas decided to go on his side quest.

back to intentions again, cas always believes he's acting on good intentions, and well, the same could be said about john? like, from john's POV he thought he was doing the right thing, he thought he was keeping his boys safe by keeping them out of the loop. he ignored them for so long in s1 because he didn't want them getting involved. similar to how cas knew dean and sam wouldn't approve of what he was doing or would want to get involved in something cas believed was his job to solve, john also knew dean and sam would want to get involved in the hunt for azazel so he pushed them away and kept them in the dark. he personally had "good intentions" and his "reasons" for ghosting them, but regardless these actions still hurt them. and then add in all the times john failed to check in when they were kids, dean was constantly worrying john could be dead, as a child and as an adult in s1. and living with that kind of constant fear leaves scars imo which unintentionally get reopen every time someone dean cares about goes ghost for whatever reason.

and well, i'd say it hurts even more when it's cas because sure, john's a piece of shit more often than not, but cas is dean's best friend (and love!) and to be ignored / left in the dark when most often dean just wants to know cas is okay or so they can work together to solve whatever problem is going on? it hurts.

so, yes cas had his reasons and his intentions were often good! no one is saying they weren't. but the lack of communication, the bare minimum of any relationship, still hurts dean.

it's not unreasonable for dean to want his best friend to let him know he's okay / alive periodically, especially when they live in a literal supernatural horror fantasy show where they can get dead at any time. i don't think anyone is really saying cas is just ignoring him for no reason. sure he has his reasons. and regardless the lack of communications still hurts.

but also. the miscommunication is very delicious to me personally as a viewer.

tldr: anyways i don't think cas ghosts dean for no reason. i think he has his reasons. and still ghosts him bc he wants to come back with a win / doesn't want dean to get hurt / or stop him. but the ghosting still causes dean to worry / think he's dead / triggers a deep-seated anxiety and fears he's felt his whole life starting with john etc etc

Sort of part 2? I already made another version from a scene with Babe but now i'm doing this scene for Charlie:) (I hope this is not stupid, im using a big part of what was shown in the show in this writing but i'm also adding a bit more of my own interpertation of these two scenes, because i feel like they're pretty important for each character) Word count: 671 words

The guilt was eating Charlie up alive. At first he didn't really feel guilty about planning his fake death. Along with needing all his energy and focus on recovery, he thought it for the better. Even if it did hurt Babe, it was for the best and would only guarantee his safety. That didn't mean Charlie didn't miss him, no on the contrary, he missed Babe a lot. When he heard Jeff's voice talking with Uncle Ravel, he slowly pushed himself up. All of his limps were sore and his head was heavy, he couldn't help but groan. Jeff turned to Charlie as he spoke up.

"So you went to stay with P'Alan?" Jeff rushed over to Charlie and grabbed his shoulder as he noticed his brother was awake. He slowly guided Charlie to sit. Jeff didn't answer Charlie's question but instead asked a question himself, "How are you P'?"

Charlie felt unsteady and wobbled sligthly against Jeff as he finally sat upright. He squinted his eyes against the bright light outside and pushed the blanket off of him.

"I'm not dead yet." Charlie respondedly vaguely. Honestly he was feeling terrible, his head felt like it was gonna burst, but he wasn't gonna say that to his brother. It was his own idea so he had to suffer the consequences quietly.

"What's the situation now?" Charlie suspected he had missed a whole lot of important events.

"Everything went as planned. Tony is mad that you're dead. He has Kenta search for new alpha children everywhere," Jeff rubbed his hands together in an absentmindly movement but Charlie still noticed, "The team has figured out that Dean is a spy. So now everyone has moved to P'Alan's house. P'Babe, P'North and P'Sonic, even including Kim." That surpised Charlie, the last time he heard about Kim he was still being held captive by Tony.

"Oh really?" was all he could say.

"What else can they do? Everyone was devestated by your death," Jeff looked at Charlie's face when he said the next words, "Especially P'Babe." Charlie frowned and looked at his lap.

"Is he very sad?" It sounded like a stupid question, because obviously Babe would be sad. But Charlie needed to know how sad Babe was.

"You died right in front of his eyes, how could he not be sad. It will take a while for him to accept it." It's because of this sentence Charlie started doubting this idea. He had thought about Babe being hurt by his plan, of course he had. But Charlie hadn't expected Babe to take his dead really hard. Maybe Charlie should have seen it coming from the way Babe had reacted when Charlie offered to give him his senses back, he got angry at him every time Charlie mentioned it. It made him want to call Babe or at least let him know he was okay but he couldn't, it would destroy the plan and all their hard work.

Jeff understood Charlie's silence and continued speaking, "I know that you are just as upset. But don't forget, the one who proposed this plan was you. You know how Babe will be." Jeff was right, of course he was but that still didn't help the horrible feeling in his gut. Charlie turned his head and looking at his hands in his lap, frowning ever deeper than he did before.

Jeff handed him his glasses and Charlie took them without saying a word, lost in his own mind. He wanted to call Babe, wanted to tell him it was all okay. He wanted to comfort him but he couldn't but instead he was left with a feeling in his stomach that made him want to throw up.

Jeff touched his knee and rubbed his thumb softly in a comforting gesture. "We'll take care of P'Babe, don't worry." But that was the only thing Charlie could do, worry about Babe. It was only a tiny bit of comfort that Charlie knew Jeff and Alan were looking out for him.

Demons and Demigods Part Three: The Interim

Alright, timelines really start to get fucky here because I felt like, yknow? Also, fair warning here: not only do I start playing fast and loose with the timelines, this is also a John Winchester Hate Account if you hadn't guessed from part 1: the beginning, and in this part Sally does in fact murder him. So. Be prepared for that, I guess.

Insert the events of The Lost Hero blah blah blah and edited events of season one. Namely John doesn’t meet back up with the boys (Dean left him a voicemail after they left Sally’s telling him that they found out Aunt Sally was alive and that he and Sam needed some space so they didn’t want to see him, but would still appreciate it if he reached out to let them know he was alive. He does neither. Instead, he headed to Sally’s apartment and practically broke down the door, all ‘how dare you turn my boys against me’ and ‘what right do you have’ and etc etc. Sally just gave him the middle finger and stabbed him. She cleaned up at the blood, then Paul helped her get the body out to the car and they drove out to CHB where Thalia and the hunters were staying after sending an IM and explaining that she needed help getting rid of the body of her nephews’ piece of shit father and the hunters are more than happy to oblige and Paul stays in the car to help the hunters feel more comfortable while Sally, Thalia, and the rest of the hunters have a wonderful little bonfire in a clearing just outside of camp.) 

(Sally does call Dean and Sam and tell them what happened. She admits that she killed him and doesn’t feel bad about it, but she knows that he was their father even if he was a shitty one and they deserve to know what happened to him.) (Dean has pretty mixed feelings about it. He thanked Sally for telling him, and for telling the truth instead of making up a story or something, and then said that he needed some time to get his head back on straight. Sam keeps Sally updated on what they’re up to and how Dean’s doing and if they’ve heard or seen anything about Percy and she keeps him updated in turn about the Percy Situation.) 

John is replaced by Bobby <3

Faith goes a little differently because Bobby actually shows up because he’s the best, and Sam calls Sally to ask if she knows anything that could help Dean and she says that she’ll ask Chiron and the Apollo kids if they know anything/would be willing to help. Sam and Bobby haul Dean over to NY and Will swings by Sally’s apartment to take a look at Dean and does what he can to help. Bobby and Sally get along wonderfully, by the way. Sam told him that she killed John and when he asks her about she’s just like yeah and I’d do it again he was a dick and I never liked him anyway and after learning what he did to Dean I feel no remorse for what I did. And Bobby’s just like damn I like this woman. Anyway, he gets filled in on the Greek stuff and the Percy Stuff (at this point, Piper, Jason, and Leo’s quest is done and they’re working on building the Argo II and Sam and Dean offered to head to California to see if they could find Percy, but Sally and Annabeth told them it would be better to let it play out, especially since Percy didn’t know them and likely had amnesia) and then the boys head out for the Nebraska and Roy and the rest of the episode pretty much goes down like normal only Bobby is there and helping them because I love him and he loves his boys. 

They find the colt and yadda yadda yadda. Instead of John getting possessed by Azazel and being too nice in the cabin and shit, Bobby is possessed and he’s too mean and so that shit plays out how it did just with Bobby replacing John. Also Bobby doesn’t sell his soul or the colt. Instead, Tessa and Dean are having their thing and then something boots Tessa and Dean is like what the fuck because she just disappeared and then he sees three old ladies knitting and they tell him that it’s not his time yet and he’s part of their world now so his life is theirs to end and they have need of him still. So the Fates intervened and plopped Dean back in his body and fixed him up and shit because I say so. 

Since John wasn’t around to tell Dean to ‘save Sam or kill him,’ they find out about the demon blood and yellow eyes’ plan some other way idk and Sam doesn’t run away to IN or run off and get possessed by a demon later because whatever fuck it. However, around the episode Croatoan is when Percy gets sent on his quest to Alaska and then around Night Shifter is when Percy leaves Sally that voicemail having done the whole thing with Phineas and the gorgon’s blood and is starting to get his memories back. 

After the shifter thing and getting on the news and stuff, Sally calls to let them know that she’s heard from Percy (after she messages Annabeth) and to tell them that they can lay low with her and Paul until the media calms down about the bank robberies and shit. She helps them research what might be going on with Sam and his visions. 

Annabeth tells Sally that the Argo II is finally complete and her, Jason, Piper, and Leo are leaving for CA to get Percy and also there’s prophecy shit they have to do so she doesn’t know when they’ll be back but she’ll do her best to keep Sally updated and make sure Percy IMs her. 

Sam and Dean have left at this point so Sally calls them to fill them in on that. 

The next day, All Hell Breaks Loose shit goes down. Sam has poofed, Dean and Bobby are trying to find him, etc etc. Sam dies, Dean makes his deal, the Fates don’t intervene because they know that the angels will bring him back and whatnot and he has a year and the Gaea thing will be over by then anyway .

Percabeth reunion!!!! There has been a criminal lack of Percy content in this so far, but we have finally arrived!!! He’s here!!!  My boy!! Son of Neptune happened behind the scenes because nothing changed on Percy’s end lmao. 

Mark of Athena starts, Percabeth reunion my beloved. Leo is possessed and fires on Rome, they haul ass, Percy is pissed, shit gets sorted, etc. When they stop for the supply run to fix the Argo II, Annabeth and Percy stay on the ship and call Sally. 

Sally and Percy have a tearful remote reunion and Sally tells him to stay safe and get home to her as soon as possible. And then she tells him about Mary, Dean, and Sam. Percy is kinda reeling but he’s excited to meet his cousins once the Gaea and Giants shit is over. They say goodbye and Annabeth tells Percy about Sam and Dean from her short time meeting them. Percy tells her about his time at the wolf house and his quest to Alaska to free Thanatos. 

Percy and Jason, possessed, have their death match in that Kansas cornfield, and Sam and Dean and been nearby and, upon hearing about the weird disturbance, show up just in time to watch the end of the fight and see Piper knock Jason and Percy out lmao. They are Quaking. They’d managed to go unnoticed by everyone on the Argo, but they spot Annabeth and grab her attention to be like hey what the fuck just happened/what is going on????? 

And Annabeth is like oh shit hey yeah so we’re on a quest to Greece to stop Mother Earth from waking up and whatever but that right there was Percy and Jason fighting. They were possessed by spirit servants of Gaea so it wasn’t really their fault that they were fighting but it’s a good thing that Piper was out there with them otherwise Jason probably would have died. 

Sam and Dean are lowkey still freaking out because that is a lot of information to take in all at once and also it’s one thing to hear that Percy is powerful and another to see him fight with their own eyes. 

Note that will be relevant in the next part: the Winchester boys are so entrenched in the supernatural that celestial bronze recognizes them as something more than mortal and works on them.

Now, this part was shorter but that's because I got excited and have a scene written directly following this that I'm gonna post next.
