Summary:

Growing up the adopted daughter of a smalltime crime lord, Darcy learns early on that family means everything. She learns the ins and outs of running a criminal enterprise, has a head for the strategic business side of things, even, but she also learns that such matters are not meant to concern her. The family business is for Odin's sons to inherit; backroom meetings in dingy warehouses are no place for the daughter he's always wanted better for.

But whether Odin wants her to or not, Darcy learns from observing: she learns patience, learns strategy, learns to assess risks and identify danger... and she learns how to recognize when a hand's been overplayed, too. So when her foolish, ambitious little brother makes an arrogant mistake he doesn't seem to realize will cost him his life, Darcy steps in and makes a deal with the devil.

It's a risk, but it's one worth taking: She'll marry Brock Rumlow, the infamous Crossbones, and tip him off about Thor's plans in exchange for sparing her brother's life. And she might even find some happiness along the way, too, if only she can figure out what it is about Brock's Second in Command that has her constantly on edge.

Darcy tilted her head, even as her eyes followed Jack’s trajectory. “I’ll admit that this is unexpected.”

Brock chuckled. “What do you mean?”

“I always thought that I was the most Christmas-y person ever, but…” She threw a look at Jack, “I’ve never expected to be beaten by Jack.”

Jack, who was running around the store like a lunatic, looking for presents.

“Jack likes giving presents for Christmas.” Brock shrugged.

“That’s… Specific.”

“Remember that leather jacket you used to make fun of? The one I wear a lot?”

“Yeah.”

“Jack gave it to me on our first Christmas together.” Brock smiled fondly. “He likes spoiling the people he loves, so you should be prepared.”

Darcy was feeling all mushy now. “And how can we spoil him?”

“He’s pretty partial to blowjobs.”

“BROCK!”

Jack approached them with an arched eyebrow. “What’s going on here?”

“Brock is being ridiculous.” She rolled her eyes. “Is that an ugly sweater?”

“Yes.” He showed her the horrendous purple monstrosity. “Great, right?”

“Well, if by ‘great’ you mean ‘ugly as shit’, then yeah. It’s great.”

Jack’s smile was endearingly boyish. “Exactly! Hill and I exchange ugly sweaters every year.”

“Hill?” Darcy was shocked.

“Yes. Anyway…” He looked around like he was already ten presents ahead of them. “Let’s get something for Brock’s mother.”

“She loves his presents.” Brock informed Darcy.

“That’s a lot of new information.” Darcy mused to herself.

Talking about family always made Jack uncomfortable. The best he could manage was a polite smile and nod. "That's nice that you have that piece of someone you care for with you at all times. I like to think tattoos capture a moment or a memory." He never thought it would be a big deal to have someone's name tattooed over his heart, if for a time they held it, then maybe it would help him remember he'd had love rather than focusing on the fact that he'd lost it. Of course, there was no person that shoe fit— not in his past and he doubted in his future.

"I feel like I have to tell you whether you're right or wrong, but it would be more fun for me if I made you wait to see if you're right or wrong." Jack wasn't going to tell her because he always enjoyed that first reaction to people seeing his tattoos. It told him more about what they thought about him than a conversation ever could. For the most part, the tattoos that meant the most to him were meticulously placed to be hidden even when he was at his gym. "You'll just have to wait and see. What Greek statue do you think it would be though?" A god, a ruler? Curiosity was getting the best of him.

Danny is shocked when he, his parents, and Jazz are taken to court by Vlad Masters in a custody battle. Ridiculous! Right?

Not as much as Danny would like to think. As the trial goes on, Danny discovers he and his sister aren't who or what they thought, that their parents are not as they seem, and Vlad, his enemy, may be their only shot at survival.

This story is told primarily through dialogue and epistolary storytelling as an experiment. Throughout the story, please expect body horror, illegal and nonconsensual experimentation on human beings, murder, and kidnapping. Mind the tags, please.

However, as Maddie would kill him in 2 seconds, tge shenanigans are more sitcom-esque competition, conolete with Danny begging for brain bleach multiple times, and Vlad realizing Jack isn't the only Fenton he's in love with.

Jack, of course, is completely oblivious to the fact his visiting very friendly people causes Vlad and Maddie to stalk him amd talk for once. Or is he?

Danny Phantom in Showghost!- AO3 link here. Summary: Tucker Foley was having a perfectly normal day- until he runs into Narrator, a ghost who is possibly as powerful as Clockwork or Ghostwriter. The problem isn't Narrator- they just want their book back.

No, the problem is the GIW. And the possibility that the town of Amity Park was sucked into a mini-universe outside of time. And, to add more problems to Tucker's day, he seems to be the only one who realises what's going on.

"We are on a timeline, though," Narrator said cheerfully.

"What?! When were you gonna tell me that?!"

They scowled. "Those idiots in white broke my book. If we don't wake everyone up before we run out of pages, everyone dies here."
