So you’re saying we now have to sit here and see this OBNOXIOUS icon and notification at the bottom of the page, any time we open the app, on EVERY SINGLE PAGE we click/scroll through, just CONSTANTLY drawing our attention away from the content we’re actually here to see and engage with… and this was an INTENTIONAL CHOICE y’all made and not a bug?!

We can’t even get rid of this stupid notification and icon for even seven short days anymore?!

You’ve got to be kidding me!

I’m so incredibly pissed I ever gave this site ANY money, if this is how @staff wants to treat users now. I didn’t actually expect you all to make things better for users after crab day/week got you how many completely unearned/undeserved new purchases, but I foolishly trusted you wouldn’t actively sabotage user experience to intentionally make things even worse. If I could demand every dollar I’d spent (and every dollar my friends ever spent on me) back, you’d better believe I’d do so in a heartbeat.

As long as it’s impossible to get rid of that eyesore of an icon+notification on my navigation bar, you can bet I won’t be sticking around to scroll through this site like I used to. I can’t deal with this crap constantly in my face, and I know I’m not the only one.

Thanks for letting us know how little you actually care about any of your users, @staff . This clears a lot up.

not sure what happened but i have live snoozed and it used to prevent it from showing up in the bottom navigation bar on mobile (ios)

but it has since stopped doing that so now even with live snoozed it’s still there, and i would like it to Not Be

it’s not on my dash at least but i don’t want it on the navigation bar either

Answer: Hey, @jellyfishdotorg!

As you might have noticed, there have been some updates to how snoozing Tumblr Live works. Snoozing will continue to hide Live from your dashboard, but the navigation icon will remain in your navigation bar.

This means you’ll be able to watch anyone you follow go Live without having to unsnooze the whole thing! Additionally, we’ve increased the snooze period from 7 to 30 days.
