So this happened:
Existential crisis - the real world is far too unaesthetic to draw or paint and my imagination is far too abstract. ✅
This will never work. ✅
Scrolling Pinterest for hours in search of something. Anything.✅
Found. Lots of books and a person reading. Life is beautiful. ✅
Sudden PBPA (Paralysing Blank Page Anxiety). Ask me to fill it with words and consider it done, with paint and I'll look like a deer caught in the headlights. ✅
Binge watching videos of people sketching and painting very loosely, fast and naively, trying to convince myself it's OK. ✅
It's OK. It's OK. It's OK. Right? Because I neither have the patience nor the time to do elaborate, precise drawings. ✅
IT'S OK. No one cares. I can totally do whatever I want. ✅
Irrational fear of paint setting in. ✅
Deciding to do it anyway. ✅
Realising I LOVE paint. It's the best thing ever. Not water colours though. ✅
Questioning all my life choices.✅
This is the ugliest thing anyone has ever produced. ✅
I'm the worst. Utterly useless. ✅
I HATE paint. ✅
I HATE myself. ✅
Questioning everything. ✅
Actually it's not too bad. Not great, but not a disaster either. ✅
This was fun. ✅
Repeat. ✅

Hi guys,
We all know by now I go through phases where I love to play with colour and one product I was not expected to love as much as I do is the Blue Maybelline Sky High Mascara , £11.99. When I found out they were bringing out a blue version of my favourite mascara I was both surprised and excited to try something different.
Since I have blue eyes anyway, a blue mascara really makes my eyes pop and though it is a bright blue formula, it is surprisingly wearable. I've paired this mascara with different eyeshadow palettes and love the finish but I think the colour truly pops when I use blue liquid liner. My favourite one to use is the Makeup Revolution Renaissance Eyeliner in Blue, £5.00. I have been a big fan of this liquid liner formula for a long time now and I own every colour from the collection.
When I first got this mascara I knew I had to try the two together because it really would make my eyes pop for sure! Both of these products are from the drugstore so they are affordable and to be honest both products are better than any high end versions I've tried before. So if you're looking for a sign to try more colourful eye products here is your sign. As always all products mentioned are linked above.
Lot's of love,
Bella x x

Lady Chatterley's Lover, part II
Are there any great, but cancelled words today ? I haven't got the faintest. I'm absolutely certain, the very material I'm made of isn't cheap though. I'm naturally expensive.
"All the great words, it seemed to Connie, were cancelled for
her generation: love, joy, happiness, home, mother, father,
husband, all these great, dynamic words were half dead
now, and dying from day to day. Home was a place you lived
in, love was a thing you didn’t fool yourself about, joy was
a word you applied to a good Charleston, happiness was a
term of hypocrisy used to bluff other people, a father was an
individual who enjoyed his own existence, a husband was
a man you lived with and kept going in spirits. As for sex,
the last of the great words, it was just a cocktail term for
an excitement that bucked you up for a while, then left you
more raggy than ever. Frayed! It was as if the very material
you were made of was cheap stuff, and was fraying out to
nothing."
- D. H Lawrence, Lady Chatterley's Lover
