Hi guys,
Welcome to the Pillow Talk Party! In case you haven't seen my other blog posts this week, we are celebrating Charlotte Tilbury's new Pillow Talk products. So far we have had the new shade Pillow Talk Fair in glosses, lipsticks and lip cheats and today we have a completely brand new product! Today we are chatting about the already viral Pillow Talk Big Lip Plumpgasm Plumping Lip Gloss, £27.00.
Last month this product was teased on social media and I was so excited to see a brand new lip formula. We love the Lip Collagen formula which makes your lips look fuller and shiner but this new formula is a whole other level! Usually I have plumping glosses because I can't stand that mouth on fire feeling but this formula is more unique and more comfortable on the lips.
The Plumpgasm Plumping Gloss comes in 2 shades fair - medium and medium - deep, for obvious reasons I got the first shade which is a pink nude tone. This new formula starts off as a cooling sensation rather than a burning feeling and then tingles as your lips get plumper, it's a weird description I know but it's honestly accurate. The best part is you don't have to wait ages for the plumping effect, once you apply the gloss you can see your lips start to change straight away. Like I said out of all the brands I've tried before this is by far the most comfortable and the gloss shade is stunning itself.
As Charlotte says "Enriched with Plumpgasm Heat + Ice Technology, plump-effect Collageneer™️ and hydrating Hyaluronic Acid, the formula combines the hydrating comfort of a balm + the amplifying power of a lip plumper with the beautifying pretty pink Pillow Talk effect so your lips look plumper + smoother". The gloss itself comes in a bigger applicator compared to a regular Tilbury gloss and the packaging is stunning! It's very unique to Charlotte's normal packaging and I adore it!
So if you're in the market for a new plumping lip product I would really recommend checking this one out. Some people are sensitive to plumping makeup products so check the ingredients first on the page linked above. As always all products mentioned are linked above.
Lot's of love,
Bella x x

if hearing a girl criticize consumerism and beauty/makeup/anti-body hair culture or even just saying they don't like wearing makeup or shaving or performing femininity immediately makes you label them a pick-me maybe that's your own conscience or internalised guilt projecting just sayin'. maybe she isn't the one who thinks you're anti-feminist for wearing makeup (let's face it she most probably doesn't because most people fucking wear makeup) but your visceral defensiveness at someone just existing outside conventional beauty standards says more about you than it probably does about them

The new trend was videos about your deskcare routines. People would use special brushes and cleaners to clear and clean their desks and apply nice varnishes and serums like doing skincare or makeup but to make their study or work spaces look nicer. Some products were safe for desks and hands. Some people would have a picture of their own face staring straight ahead on the surface of the desk and would apply makeup to their face on the desk as a big deskcare trend.

"girls support girls-" okay but are you normal about queer women? are you normal about BIWOC? are you normal about disabled women? are you normal about autistic women? are you normal about fat women? alternative women? unattractive women? are you normal about women who choose not to shave their legs and armpits and faces? are you normal about butches and tomboys and masculine women? are you normal about trans women? are you normal about trans men? are you normal about nonbinary folk and people who lie outside the gender binary or renounce gender all together? are you normal about women who absolutely despise and detest the latest trends? are you normal about weird women who unsettle you with their interests? are you normal about women who don't wear makeup, who will never wear makeup, who openly dislike makeup and the makeup industry?

there is something deeply, unfathomably cruel about the fact that something called the clean girl trend is actually only accessible with perfect skin and hair and nails and bodytype. that if you simply use enough products and time and genetics you too will be able to be filter-flawless. it isn't just about being pretty, it's about being naturally pretty, with perfectly ethnocentric features that absolutely make a mockery of the poc they stole their techniques from.
something about this not just being a fashion trend but directly positioning any alternative as being "unclean" - if you use visible foundation to correct your skin in a desperate attempt to fit in, that's cringe. if you draw your eyeshadow and eyeliner in a way that feels personal and full of expression, i was told this looks "cheap" and "unfeminine." if you do not endlessly adhere to a nigh-impossible routine of beauty and sacrifice; you simply aren't one of those girls, girls that are better than you and deserve their good life. if you were not lucky enough to be born with this, no worries; it can be sold to you. it will be sold to you.
the women of color who made half of these things popular - hoop earrings, slicked back ponytails, oiled babyhairs - they do not get credit. they are not included in the trend. they are ostracized as being too different, too hispanic. because it's not clean when we do it.
no, if you're not perfect (and perfectly white), you're dirty. you're basically a slob. i actively like doing my makeup, and i've been told a lot - it's just a few basic products, it's really not that hard. nobody seems to get what i'm saying - we absolutely should not be linking makeup to hygiene. that linking cleanliness with rich white girls in yoga pants and glass waterbottles is incredibly bigoted.
she rolls her eyes. "okay, we get it. it's literally not that deep. you just hate makeup. i mean, it's fine. just say that you're ugly."

Hi guys,
I'm sure you all remember that a few blog posts ago, Charlotte Tilbury brought out a brand new collection of pink and red shades in her new Hollywood Beauty Icon collection. We all know I adore a pink lipstick over red any day and slowly I've been building up my collection so today I'm adding two new shades to my collection!
If you didn't know this collection consists of 5 very different pink tones in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula which is the more glossy, satin finish formula. Previously I got the shades Icon Baby which is the most nude toned everyday shade in the collection and Red Carpet Pink which is the second brightest pink in the collection after Candy Chic ( which I still need to add to my collection). The two shades I picked up this time are the more deeper toned pink shades because I don't have anything like them in my collection.
The first new shade I picked up is 90's Pink, this shade is described as a dreamy 90's-inspired warm rose pink (top swatch on image). The second new shade I got is Rose To Fame, this shade is the darkest in the collection and is described as a soft mauve rose lipstick. I would say this lipstick looks like it has a purple under tone when you see it on the lips (bottom swatch on image).
I love this new shades in my collection because they add more depth to my makeup look without needing to be a dark red lipstick. If you are a fan of pink lipsticks I think you'll appreciate the range of pinks on this collection. As always all products mentioned are linked above.
Lot's of love,
Bella x x

Is the Beauty Space the new ‘Fast Fashion’
Is the Beauty Space the new ‘Fast Fashion’
Let me ask you this….Have you ever used up an entire eyeshadow palette? I don’t think many of us have. I can safely say I have never used up an entire eyeshadow palette, or anything other than foundation or mascara to be honest. It’s almost like there is this ‘fast fashion’ trend but makeup right now? So many new releases, and pressure to be current. Social media plays a huge part in…
