We all know by now I go through phases where I love to play with colour and one product I was not expected to love as much as I do is the Blue Maybelline Sky High Mascara , £11.99. When I found out they were bringing out a blue version of my favourite mascara I was both surprised and excited to try something different.

Since I have blue eyes anyway, a blue mascara really makes my eyes pop and though it is a bright blue formula, it is surprisingly wearable. I've paired this mascara with different eyeshadow palettes and love the finish but I think the colour truly pops when I use blue liquid liner. My favourite one to use is the Makeup Revolution Renaissance Eyeliner in Blue, £5.00. I have been a big fan of this liquid liner formula for a long time now and I own every colour from the collection.

When I first got this mascara I knew I had to try the two together because it really would make my eyes pop for sure! Both of these products are from the drugstore so they are affordable and to be honest both products are better than any high end versions I've tried before.
