Is the Witchcraft community overly capitalised?
Hello lovely Tumblrs who still use this platform!
I have out of the broomcloset Secular Witchcraft practioner for about 5 years. But probably for even longer if I hadn't have neglected the call for so many years. I remember making fun of the hippies in goths in high school and thinking how much of a *weirdo* those people are! I thought I was soooo much better than them because I was accepted in the normies group and they weren't.
However, I still remember **Back in my day** we had to READ so many freakin books in order to come up with a semi inkling of what type of practice we will follow. What type of witch or neo pagan if you will.
Nowadays, thru TikTok, Youtube, etc, witchy influencers have succesfully *bewitched* people into thinking they need to spend hundreds of dollars on crystals and tarot and herbs or thousands of euro on classes in order to even learn how to become a "baby witch".
Is this the future of witchcraft? Although I love having so many materials and inspiration from the internet it just all seems so overly capitialized- especially during the pandemic era when people were desperate for a connection and change.
What do y'all think? Have we over commercialised ourselves?

Cafe Magic
As someone who enjoys the several coffee shops where I live and my weekly coffee trip on Tuesday mornings before work. I thought I would offer some basic coffee magic to those on this site.
Cinnamon is good for protection and prosperity. The reason for this is due to the association with Gods and Goddesses of Victory. Connected to the fire element.
Ginger is good for strength. The reason is due to the connection to Mars.
Nutmeg is connected to wealth due to Jupiter.
Vanilla is connected to adding sweetness to your life due to Venus.
Mint is connected to wealth due to mercury.
If you make your own coffee I suggest stirring the items counterclockwise or clockwise. The reason is:
Clockwise to spread out positivity out to the universe to gain or Counter-clockwise to ward off negativity.
If you are into sigil or other symbolic magic you can trace it into your coffee to influence your day.
