Okay, so I went to a site called Dream Studio.

And in honor of her new world tour, I used their Stable Diffusion hoodoo to take three comics published the year Madonna was born and change them with the command "Madonna on stage performing."

Then, just for the heck of it I also put in an old issue of Detective Comics from the 40s.

I also tried it with an issue of Smokey the Bear comics, but that turned out too damn weird.

I lose one year off my lifespan whenever someone thinks AI = robots. Like if you’re tryna throw down with the bastards stealing your art, maybe try to at least look like you know what your up against.

Also people keep bringing up the music industry how nobody fucks with them, you know why that is? Cuz they’ve got unions, they’ve got bigass companies with enough money to make sure no-one can get a damn fruit sticker from them without paying up. Artists don’t really have that, so maybe get on that? Or like get nintendo and disney involved and they’ll fight for yall.

So far most I’ve mostly heard people being against AI and technological progress as a whole. Stunting technological advancement indefinitely just because of a deep learning photo-bashing model isn’t a realistic expectation. You will get, and are getting laughed at for even considering it.

The community needs to really get together, what is making you upset? It’s the deep learning photo-bashing models. Why do they make you upset? Because they are trained on stolen artwork artists didn’t get compensation for despite the programs costing money to use. What do you want to be done about it? Stronger copyright laws so that companies can’t just scrape the internet of artoworks to train their programs with.
