As I sat on the steps in front of the church. Gave thanks to our creator for the bounty of food. A homeless man with a red 4 wheel hand wagon came up to me. There was a bag of litter in the wagon. Which the homeless use to keep where they sleep dry. He started to talk to me about the effect man is having on the planet. How the LARGEST TORNADOES ever to be recorded were occurring where such has not in history. How they are SO large they cover the horizon. With around 300 some MPH winds destroying EVERYTHING in their path. His science was perfect and he sounded like the greatest genius I have EVER had a chance to talk with. I was in complete awe and amazement that this scruffy homeless man. How could such a mind be in such a state of homelessness as this? I don't remember what made me look closer but I did. I could FEEL the absolute HOLY POWER eminating off this man. I was SHOCKED in SUCH DISBELIEF that it HAD to be... He then looked into my soul with such understanding. He could TELL I noticed him there. In front of the church of St. John... I told him that he is the most amazing genius I have seen. Then he began to tell me he knew I could see him. Told me he is in MANY PEOPLE at any one time all at once. I NEVER thought about such a thing. But it makes perfect sense of how that worked. I nearly fell on the ground before him to pay my respects. For HIM. He then told me a warning. To those that think they will "profit" off the murder of HIS EARTH. That those tornadoes could EASILY hit THEIR SOUTHERN CITIES. How that it would wipe them OFF the face of the Earth! I was like... Damn... I mean I have a few bags of food just sitting here. In the nice warm weather at the time. I am glad that he was pleased enough to give me this message. Now he ALSO said which I know I have explained the other part of this quite a while back. Is that even the tiny "little" whisp funnels could hit that SAME SPEED of 300 MPH range. How it can have DEADLY aim and warning how easy it would be to "aim it the right way". I am in awe this whole time and of course I ask him to come and talk more of it in front of my place. Couple blocks away. I saw him from the window and came down to tell him it is here. So we sat down on the front steps and he showed me the pictures of them. The news and meteorological data. He finally was starting to shiver because it was starting to reach dusk. So I said come in so that he may warm up before his task to wherever he goes. Came in and sat down. Then somehow or suddenly he was like another person. A personality I suppose as you might expect from someone in his current arrangements. Starts talking about wrestling on TV and does not even seem aware what we were JUST TALKING ABOUT. Chatted about the old WCW wrestlers and such then he finally went on his way. I have NEVER seen him again since that time. You'd think they might come by again for perhaps a need of some kind. Which is very common. Been at least several months if not a year... Last summer. For some reason now is a good time to post these REAL photos. I never thought about mega storms having MORE than one tornado... But as one of the photos shows. Quite a LOT of them. Another photo is of a tornado that looks hell bent on reaching across the sky to strike far over to the right. THESE are the FUTURE of OUR world. Will get more worse by time from the severe climate change that is happening RIGHT NOW. This is a message from the most high. And a warning. This is THEIR WORLD. THAT we LIVE on. Like some kind of three ideas message... The world is in danger and MUST be addressed soon.

History isn't a disparate collection of stories from long ago. It's the necessary context for the present moment and the forecast for the future. All histories are intertwined, and the narratives of power and privilege, oppression and resistance, adversity and triumph are as constant in their patterns as the laws of physics.

if you don't know what's happened in UK politics today, it's terrifying news for climate change —
the UK government have just announced plans for over 100 new oil and gas drilling licenses. these new licences will directly contribute.
alongside this, the government announced funding for carbon capture and storage projects — this is great! carbon emissions are stored deep underground, and thus removed from the atmosphere. this solution has been being worked on by climate scientists for 40 years.
but the UK government are using carbon capture as a get out of jail free for drilling more oil.
this is dangerous.
carbon capture and storage works at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, but it does not negate further emissions. it only works if we stop burning fossil fuels.
carbon capture and storage is not the problem — continuing to burn fossil fuels is.
we should be angry.

Internet activists will learn that they, a single human being, use up less water than the company of nestle, and from that draw the conclusion that their consumption habits bear zero responsibility on climate change 👍🏼

a misconception I see a lot- and have even believed myself! -is, "well, women in western history could only wear all those layers because there was no climate change!"
which is. not really the case, as far as I can tell?
obviously this varies from era to era, but I was looking into historical temperatures here in Boston from the earliest consistent records (1893) and I was surprised to see several 90+-degree days most summers throughout the 1890s (fahrenheit)
now, I am not at all a climate-change denier. extreme heat has been getting more likely and more frequent the world over- I'm fully aware that I'm posting this during what some scientists are calling the hottest July on record globally. that being said, the idea that our ancestors NEVER had to deal with the temperatures we're facing now is factually incorrect for many of the areas worldwide where the clothing we're talking about was worn (and most scientists aren't saying that, I know! this is a pop history commentary, not a scientific one)
the fact is that, in most of the western world, yes, our ancestors did wear That Clothing in These Temperatures. less often and for shorter periods of time, most years, but...it happened! and they found ways to deal!
