I really love fae AUs; there’s so much potential for lore and creating new ideas with familiar characters. This piece was inspired by a sort of idle wondering about what Draco and Harry might look like as fae, what their coloring might be, other features they might have, that sort of thing. I wanted to leave enough room for interpretation whether this was to be a dark fae au (as many are) or a more light-hearted story (as fairy tales have come to be associated with). Whether dangerous or dreamy, I wanted it to be enchanting to look at.
