LORE DROP #1!

When co-creator Beck was first coming up with the concept of Before I Forget (Again), he spent a year writing a fact a day about the universe of the show. This is how most of the characters, settings, and plot were created. Every now and then, we might drop some of the non-spoilery LORE. So!

Cielle's special interest is an obscure line of action figures from 2187, released as merch for a show called Swing! She doesn’t like the actual show, but absolutely loves her “Swing Set”, as she calls them. Many threats on her life have been made because of this pun, mostly from Riley.

This Month (March) at the V.A.S.M...

What are we up to?

We have begun scripting for season 1! There's a long road ahead of us, but we're having a great time really getting to know these characters. Two weeks into writing the show and Cielle has already derailed one of the episode plots in favor of a rant about TV season lengths (which was to be expected, I suppose).

Who has taken up residence in our brains recently?

Cowriter Blakelee gave an excellent answer, but I'm afraid that bringing attention to this particular character quite yet might be jumping the bullet (or mysterious deadly accident, as the case may be). Character O, we love you dearly.

Out of context spoiler?

Love conquers all! That's not a good thing.

If anybody's going to 1945 anytime soon, Riley would appreciate it if you could pick him up some 'real Kit-Kats'. He says 'the future ones taste a bit queer'. All attempst at gay jokes on Cielle's part were promptly elbowed out of her by Bea. Thanks a bunch!
