I have been giggling and kicking my feet to your response cause it's so!! <3 I really like your writing a lot and Jing Yuan planning to bring a vibrator to the next session giving me brainworms to future scenarios now like:

911 ep 705 first watch reactions

Of course 911 would "punish" the "You are the boss of you!" guy with an alien hand that attacks him, and does what it wants. Pooor Buck and Eddie paying the price for that...

Okay, love the storyline with Hen and Karen possibly eventually adopting an older girl. Too many shows just find easy, unrealistic ways to give their same sex couples kids, and I am really glad that 911 shows the reality of it, and that it is a more complex struggle for many, that it's an act of continuously choosing to be parents. That's actually an amazing, difficult thing, and it should be faithfully depicted and respected, for all of its heartache, and the little moments of triumph.

Buck and Tommy on a date, and Eddie comes along with Marisol? Love how Buck's bisexual awakening and coming out continues to involve Eddie so much. Tell me they're end game, even if they're not gonna get together right now, without telling me they're...

I did not need to learn Marisol is moving in with Eddie like this, with any build up, or even any sort of insight into the relationship, and nope, that does not bode well for them. IDK how 911 managed to do it, but they have somehow managed to give Eddie a love interest the show is even less invested in than Ana.

And the funniest bit, is that Marisol and Eddie's big development is only there to further Buck's journey anyway.

"You can never have too much closet space" LMAO the way 911 both made me laugh, and feel sorry for poor, baby bi Buck. XD

Hmmm. Were parts of this scene cut out? We don't get to see Eddie on his own date with Marisol, but constantly looking over at Tommy and Buck? Boo. I'm glad we at least got the BTS photos, then. But seriously, why!? That was gonna be so delicious.

Oh, Tommy's breaking up with Buck. I mean, good for him, and he ain't wrong after Buck's "after this, we're gonna go out looking for chicks" reaction, but man do I feel sorry for Buck. Him and Tommy might not be my end game (Buddie forever will be), but I do think this relationship could be good for our baby bi. Tommy being in the same profession, knowing what it's like to have this gap between who you are and the image of guys in your line of work, plus he's got more experience than Buck, is sure of himself, can help our boy figure himself out, and also Buck obviously does like his vibe. He deserves to be with someone he actually likes, not just the first woman willing to be with him that the plot pushed in his way.

Oh, baby Buck. :( You didn't even tell Maddie about Tommy. You really aren't ready it. But also (and as a Buddie shipper, more importantly), Tommy broke things off with Buck, but what is eating him up, is that he lied to Eddie. XD Yeah, this gonna end with wedding bells, sooner or later. On screen, off screen after the show ends with canon Buddie, or only in my head if 911 never dares make Buddie canon, I don't care. That kind of emotional devotion is not something that my hopelessly romantic heart can ignore.

OMG, this is how Buck comes out to Maddie? XD Via random pronoun mention, and as a by product of trying to figure out how to tell Eddie the truth? This is hilarious. lol It really makes it clear that, after all, the issue for Buck really isn't people knowing he is also dating guys (or checking their asses), even when it's the other closest person in the world for him, it's Eddie. Specifically. Buck's ready, even if he doesn't have the exact clear words yet, he's just not ready to tell Eddie. Can't imagine why. XDDD

What was that awkward post-sex scene with Eddie and Marisol? And the issues with her moving in are popping up a second after she has. But yeah, we have no idea who this woman is as a person, she's been a cardboard cut out so far, and then one of the first things we do learn about her, is that she would call her stuff better than Eddie's? Once again, this is not the stuff great romance is made of. Or... even just the stuff any kind of romance is made of.

Wait, Marisol was a nun, and Eddie didn't even know!? This whole ep is telegraphing in the news of how weird and awkward and underdeveloped this r/s is, not just for us as viewers who know nothing about Marisol, but apparently for Eddie as well.

And of course his Catholic guilt is gonna kick in now. I'd care, except 911 has given me absolutely no reason to. Seriously, I care more about Buck and Tommy after just 2 eps, than Eddie and Marisol, even though this is technically her 2nd season on the show.

Of course Buck went to find Eddie, and spotted him at the gym. Forever 201 vibes, with Eddie being the focus of Buck's attention. ^u^

I couldn't care less about Eddie's Catholic guilt crisis, and how it's actually a projection of what his real issues are with Marisol, but it's nice to see that as always, Buck's the one who can tell when something's off, and offer Eddie exactly what he needs (even when that's to talk to someone else, but Buck figures out immediately who the right person to address is), and then they just very naturally switch, because Eddie can also tell when something's off with Buck, and he wants to tell him something. Soulmates. THAT is the stuff that great romance IS made of.

:/ The imagery of Catholic nuns has not been around for over 2,000 years, please stop being ignorant about your own religion, and the very different way it looked in its early days.

Bobby is forgiven, he does give good advice, and his "her ex, the Lord" bit, which prompted that reaction from Eddie, is hilarious. XD

So... when Eddie is having issues with Marisol, he already knows he has to figure out how he feels about her, but instead of doing so, he goes to his safe place... Buck's loft.

Man, Eddie being into Tommy's choice of avoidning relationships with women, and hanging out with boys, after in the past, Eddie had dealt with his Shannon issues by running away from her, and re-enlisting in the army, where he gets to hang out with boys, when we all (Buck included) know why Tommy's "hanging out with boys"... I do like that if they want to (and hopefully they do), this further lays the groundwork for Eddie's own queer realization.

Buck and Eddie helping each other with their respective romantic problems, without realizing they are each other's respective romantic solution is gonna make me chew on my own fists. Again. But I'm not even a little bit surprised that Eddie was totally fine and accepting of Buck being bi, or that the first thing he thought of is how this reflects on them. Because their friendship IS way deeper and closer than normal for platonic friends, and Eddie's little reassurance is also an admission of that.

Man, for a second I was worried they also cut out Eddie in the loft, once more putting his thumb on Buck's pulse point possessively, in a perfect parallel to 303. I would have sued for emotional damages. But yeah, it says so much that the peak of emotional meaningfulness for Buck when coming out is in relation to Eddie, and that the scene itself peaks with Eddie, instead of finishing rushing out to take care of his own romantic business, hurries back to Buck first, to hug him, place his hand on Buck and give him orders. "Sure, you're gonna be dating this guy, but I'm still your real husband."

Well, at least Eddie amitted to himself and Marisol that he doesn't actually know her. But... I have never seen two people being both being so happy about not moving in together, and I'm supposed to think this r/s has a chance? Okay. Suuuure.

The scene with Buck going to Tommy to set things straight ready for something was lovely, it was nice seeing him excited, and get to choose, and hear he's wanted. But since the note Tommy and Buck's storyline in this ep should have ended on, is Buck showing Tommy he's ready enough to let others know he's dating a guy by inviting Tommy to come with Buck to Madney's wedding, then why is the very next scene playing the romantic switch again, making us think Buck's car just arrived at the wedding with him and Tommy, only for Buck and Eddie to walk in together? I see what you did there, 911.

a starless clan protag headshots

i've been really invested in the current arc, and after reading thunder i was excited to set aside some time to test out my designs for the protagonists! these aren't necessarily my final designs for them.

recently i've been wanting to take my art in a bit more of an exaggerated cartoony direction, inspired by watching a bunch of early 2000s cartoons lately (can you tell which one inspired these particular drawings? XD). warriors might be a bit of a weird muse for that, but i can't turn down the opportunity to draw some cats!

nightheart's basically an off-black version of my firestar with hair. i still need to actually draw my firestar design, but i know what i want, so i based him off of that. the hair is just because i thought it'd be funny. i'm not too sure about his eye marking though; i give most of firestar's kin some kind of stripe coming from their eye, but i might change how nightheart's looks. something to experiment more with!

frostpaw is based on what i have in mind for curlfeather - again, haven't drawn curlfeather, but i have a pretty decent idea of what she looks like. lots of little curls incorporated throughout her design. she's also all gray to me but still a colorpoint, and has three little "freckles" on the left side of her face. i'm contemplating whether or not i want to give her a TNR ear notch in the final design.

sunbeam is probably the wildest of these three, at least in my opinion, and the one i'm probably not going to change too much because i like that about her. i don't remember exactly what inspired me, but i came up with the idea of her having a single eye with dark sclera months ago and it's stuck in my mind since. idk, maybe i just thought it would make the diamond marking pop a bit? she also only has eyelashes on the eye with yellow sclera. her back marking is a sun and the white beneath it represents a ray of sunlight.

i also had extra space so i made a doodle making fun of sunbeam and the traveling cats eating a corndog from sky. the fact that nightheart brought it up again in thunder to be sad about how he's away from her cracked me up. warrior cats eating human food and being astonished is really funny to me.

Muriel: low-key grateful he has something interesting to be distracted by, because he knows he's a big guy and he really, really wants their parents to come find them before he has to do anything

Portia: buys the kid all the candy and snacks in sight to keep them talking. doesn't give any crazy reactions, but does gently probe for more and tells you everything in detail after she's returned them

Lucio: has 0 subtlety. loudly reacting to everything the kid says: "he WHAT?! Oh no, he didn't." such an invested listener that he ends up accidentally looking out for them until their parent shows up

ZKs say the final Agni Kai was a romantic battle couple moment for their ship but forget that Zuko chose Katara only for strategy reasons because water/healing is the best counter against Azula's fire. Also Zuko took that lightning because he got cocky during his fight with Azula and did it to atone for siding with Azula before, who killed Aang right in front of Katara. Katara's and Zuko's victory isn't some romantic fairy tale; it's a family tragedy hence the sad music and Zuko and Katara watching Azula cry at the end. I just hate ppl trivializing the lightning scene as a true love thing Zuko only would do for Katara because that's ooc of Zuko.

Yeah, that one pisses me off because, sure, it's nice that Zuko is willing to give his own life to save his friend and said friend then saves him, but COME ON, the focus is very clearly on Zuko's dynamic with AZULA!

All the tragedy of two kids, two siblings, fighting each other, potentially to death. Azula saying "I'm sorry it has to end this way, brother" after we just saw the start of mental colapse, with her wanting her dad not to shut her out, bitter that her friends no longer want anything to do with her, crying for a mother she is convinced never loved her. Zuko not being able to believe her words are in any way genuine because too much has happened, and Azula herself probably not even realizing some tiny part of her DID mean it.

The inversion of their usual dynamic, with Zuko being the calm, colected one, saving his energy and keeping himself focused, while Azula is being controlled by her emotions and making mistakes she'd never would have otherwise made. Azula knowing just how to catch Zuko off guard after all of this because she can read her brother like a book. The music going NUTS!

Zuko nearly dying at the hand of his own sibling and getting ANOTHER scar from one of his relatives... and then STILL feeling pity for Azula as he sees her finally defeated, something he had always thought he wanted and now that he actually got it, it unsettles him because Azula no longer looks like a dangerous enemy, but like a vulnerable, scared, deeply traumatized girl with no one to turn to. His friend having to comfort him because even after all of that, Azula is still Zuko's little sister, and he doesn't know how to fix things because he's just a kid too and they should have never been dragged into this awful conflict that started almost 80 years before either of them was even born...

ALL of that gets ignored in favor "Oh my god, Zutara moment!" and I fucking hate it. Be happy that they are interacting, but don't pretend this about them and their supposed "romance" and that Zuko wouldn't have taken that lightining for literally everyone else in the Gaang too.

(Can you tell which dynamic I'm actually invested in, will ship until the end of my days, and then continue to ship it in hell? XD )

tagged by @aleng-neng. What are my fave top 9 shows in no particular order. (All of these I have at 10/10.) I'll only pick recent shows, as they're the ones I have listed on MyDramaList and thus have a ranking for. XD This means it's mostly bls and cdramas. 1. Moonlight Chicken.

One of my feelgood shows, even though it's still new. It feels comfortable and adult and grounded, with a bunch of amazing actors who are clearly comfortable with each other. As an 'older queer' it resonates with me a lot and I didn't dislike a single thing about it.

2. The Blood of Youth.

A really fun show with gorgeous, engaging characters and the right mix of beautiful scenery, beautiful people, and creative storytelling that I like. Sprinkle in some excellent fight scenes and a bunch of my favourite actors and I'm sold!

3. Old Fashion Cupcake.

I talked about mature stories earlier and this is another one of those. I could see myself in the main lead just a bit too much for me not to love this. Nozue recognizes that he's maybe stuck in a rut and complacent when he doesn't have to be. And, maybe, that handsome junior at the firm could help him get out of it (and make him recognize he's not straight).

4. KinnPorsche.

Look, I know it has its issues. I know. And I know people have an issue with some of the fandom. I get it and for the most part I agree. However, this was the first BL in a long time that I had the urge to write fic for. I enjoyed the complexity of the universe and the characters that much. (Even if some of it didn't make sense. but that's half the fun!) And that's why I like it. It got my brain involved. (And I just adore Tankhun, okay.)

5. Word of Honor.

Years ago I watched a few cdramas and then...somehow forgot about them? (I don't know how I did that.) However, back in 2019 I got back into them and eventually stumbled upon The Untamed. 'This is the pinnacle of cdrama for me and my tastes!' I thought. But then Word of Honor showed up. Look, everything about this show is stunning. The story, the characters, the setting, the clear and unadulterated love between the two main characters. Everything and everyone is beautiful and I've never gone through a cdrama as fast as I did this one. It's beautiful in ever sense of the word. And so, so queer. Don't believe me? Just search 'word of honor cdrama' in the gif section on tumblr and marvel at the art.

6. A Tale of Thousand Stars.

This is not the first Thai BL I watched, but it almost feels like it? Because ATOTS is the first one I remember going crazy about (and it set me on the road to basically loving everything EarthMix are in together). I was super invested and wanted to draw art and everything. It's just such a nice, soft, romantic story and the characters are so fun. This is probably the one I've rewatched the most.

7. Semantic Error.

As you can tell, I generally like stories that feel far away from home. I like magic and fantasy and settings that aren't typical. However, this is one of the few exceptions. I think it's the characters and their journey and the perfect execution of tropes that would have felt stale in any other show. It's a fun story with excellent characters and I get why it's so popular.

8. Mysterious Lotus Casebook.

Technically, I can't say this show is 10/10 yet because it still has a bunch of episodes to go. However, I can tell it's going to get close at least. (And will probably get to 10.) I keep comparing it to a perfect blend of The Blood of Youth and A League of Nobleman, in that it's a fantasy world with a master swordsman who's dying (and begrudgingly adopts a cute puppy who loves him) and a bunch of cases that need solving (to unravel the overarching plot). It's so much fun and the settings + characters are so beautiful. (And I may or may not heavily ship the loyal, eager puppy with the stoic, lying dying man who tries to push him away (and literally abandon him) in an attempt to keep him safe (from harm and heartache).) The hurt/comfort and love against all odds is strong in this one! He gave up his lifelong dream to protect a man who's been lying to him ever since they met and whom is at that point a wanted fugitive!! Because he trusts and loves him so. Also, it has a bunch of very handsome and gorgeous actors/characters in it, whom I love (and who suffer beautifully).

9. ??? I only have 8 shows that I've given 10/10 to (or a prospective 10/10, lol), so I'll just leave you with some other recommended shows that came close! Bad Buddy

Little tangent about my journey with the QSMP fandom <3

First, I'm going to preface this post by saying, I wouldn't have been interested in the server, been introduced to so many communities, languages, and cultures, if not for the eggs and the admins. So, I initially gained interest when I saw a lot of people posting about Tallulah and.... Misclick duo (lmao) so I decided to check out what everybody was talking about mid-April 2023.

I watched Philza's April 29 VOD- "last" day of the eggs. Absolutely loved Chayanne and Phil planting potatoes because of Phil telling stories about Techno. Cried like a baby after. So now I'm invested.

I downloaded Twitch the next day, in time for the Brazilians' arrival. My main pov continued to be Philza, so I was a Crow for quite a while, mostly into the summer. I started watching Cellbit when the mystery really started to ramp up by the end of May.

Then Bobby died and everyone's reactions made me sob for like, a week.

Summer was probably the most time I've had fun watching QSMP. I don't know why, but it was such a good era, despite the discourse about elections lmao. I began to gravitate more towards watching Foolish's pov and when Jaiden began streaming every day, I had her as my main pov as well. Shoutout to the doozers and Jaiden mains <33

Then, Tina and Bagi arrived and I began religiously watching them as well for, uh. Reasons 🏳️‍🌈 XD. Got invested in Bagi's lore and then everybody became really busy during October so Bad and Bagi were pretty much the only ones consistently on the server XD.

Then, and only then, did I hear little whispers about q!Badboyhalo's soul vultures and possible death? And I got really really interested then. And that's where the Ghostie era started lmao. Up to now, Bad is the only person I'd watch consistently and keep up to date on his lore because well, after the soul vultures arc and especially Sweet Despair, you can't really go back to anything else after that you know?

Of course, without the QSMP, I don't think I would've discovered/re-discovered so many wonderful streamers like Fit, Tubbo, ��toiles, Mouse, or Baghera to name a few.

The past few weeks have probably been the shittiest and most anxiety-ridden weeks for me ever. But, I don't want all the negativity and anxiety to overshadow what was, for me, THE most special and unique fandom experience I've ever had. The QSMP is such a special project, there's no doubt about that. I want that to continue.

So, if this post can offer any sort of positivity and relieve some of the dread we've all been feeling, to any person from any community, that would mean so much to me already.

Send love to and the utmost kindness and care to any and all ex admins, and continue to show your support for the current admins too please. It will take a long time for this to be resolved, and it's terrifying I know, but all we can do is support each other and wait.

Remember to always take care of yourselves and no matter what happens, it always rains before you can see a rainbow right? So, in other words, things will become worse before they can get better. Idk what will happen with the QSMP, but know that life becomes better eventually. No matter the outcome, you'll be ok. We'll all be ok. <333

Edit: oh my god I just realized qsmp 1st anniversary isn't tomorrow. Today is the 20th djrjtbrbebd

I do. I just write it for the ships and characters I want to center it around. I've always joked "You can tell I'm really invested in something if I write/draw smut for it".

I do when I have the idea! They're fun to do. And I would say the fic where I make Ankh have incredibly awkward sexual tension with The Owner from Den-O is up there.

Not to my knowledge.

Yes! Two times, both in Brazilian Portuguese. :D

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I have not, but it would be fun to give it a try one day.

AnkhEiji and Mayalock. I refuse to pick one over the other.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

There was this one WIP I had where Ankh and Eiji are dealing with a heat wave I don't see myself getting back to anytime soon. (Unless inspiration strikes during the summer.)

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue and characterization! I've had people point it out to me before as well.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Descriptions of things, I've always struggled with that. Which is why its something I've been really working on with my writing as of late to try and improve at.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I don't think I've done it yet (If I have I can't remember right now, memory issues) but the approach I would take is italicizing it to differentiate it.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Pokemon! I'm pretty sure the first fic I actually wrote was a pokemon one. Though none of those have survived throughout the years.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

I would have to say Wrap Me In Your Wings (And Hold Me Closer) is my favorite fic I've written so far.

I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying this blog, I think that it's important we give ObiRin the attention and love that this ship deserves :) Feel free to share any of your own thoughts and headcanons any day, and I'm more than happy to share mine!

To answer your question:

Starting with the Uchiha Clan: I would say they would be VERY shocked because he is literally the spitting image of Madara. Rumors would start to spread about Obito saying that he is Madara's direct reincarnation (if Madara is long dead). Obito's longer hair would give him a mysterious and reserved persona which does attract a certain sense of admiration because he emits a very similar charisma like their ancestor. If Madara is alive and is the one that raised Obito, let's say, then the clan members would fully respect him and flock towards Obito because of how connected he is to Madara to the point where they look just like each other. XD

I mean, they really do look similar.

Madara:

I think Madara would feel surprised and caught off guard, because it's literally like looking into a mirror XD He would lowkey be impressed with Obito, and then he'd say. "Well if you're going to look like me, you're going to have to dress and act like me as well." Madara would then change Obito's wardrobes into traditional Uchiha mantles and kimonos because there is no fucking way Obito would walk around in standard shinobi clothing with that hair. He'd go extra hard on Obito during their training sessions because if Obito is going to look like him, he better not embarrass him by being average.

Madara: "Come on, get the hell up! That is nothing but a scratch. Back in my days I used to fight with more injuries than that. I had to wrap my wounds by tearing my own clothing. You're not going to walk around looking like me and looking like a sad, kicked puppy at the same time. Now suck it up, pick up your sword and charge forward!"

Obito: "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT I'M NOT TRYING TO BE YOU, OLD MAN?!"

Obito was unable to register Madara's speed in that moment and ended up slamming into a tree.

Rin Nohara:

Rin definitely wouldn't be so used to this new hairstyle. It was long, spikey, and it definitely gave Obito a different type of vibe. That hair of his did not match the energetic personality that she always knew, so she was very much surprised at how calm, cool, and mellow Obito seemed. His outfit was different too (the kimono mentioned above), he looked more like a traveling warrior than a shinobi.

For some strange reason, she would feel more attracted to him; to the point where certain moments with a high amount of sexual tension would occur, such as her offering to brush his hair for him and to tie his hair up in a high ponytail. She would run her fingers through his long spikey locks, her body leaning close to his, her soft fingers brushing against the skin of his neck... and she would feel like she was taking care of someone who is a part of the royal family (which is fitting because Obito is a member of an elite clan, lol). After she ties his hair up, she would hand him the mirror and he would be satisfied, and then as Obito looks at her over his shoulder, they would lock eyes and the sexual tension just keeps getting thicker from there, lol.

Were you named after anyone?

Yes. Also no. Depends on the name.

Do you have any kids?

I have cats. I know that's not the same thing, but I just cleaned stuff off the floor, so sometimes it feels like it counts at least a little bit.

Do you use sarcasm a lot?

I have learned common phrases and tonalities in people I know, but the drier the sarcasm, the more unlikely it is I'll get it. It's not a native language.

What is the first thing you notice about people?

I guess "their vibe" would count for me, too. Though, now that I think about it, the first thing is probably whether or not there's something I can notice about them/their vibe at all. If they're subtle or rely on vibe-only-communication, I can't tell a damned thing. (I am terrible at appearances - I apparently register enough to recognize people, but I couldn't tell you what they looked like if you asked me.)

I'm often flying blind with people. >.> But I put a lot of effort into observation to try and compensate.

What’s your eye color?

The color of a plant, but not telling which one or which kind XD

Scary movie or happy ending?

Happy ending. HAPPY. ENDING. (Please!) If there isn't a happy ending, I need to know ahead of time so I don't get emotionally invested in the story's outcome. I'll also accept hopeful endings.

Any special talents?

I guess it depends on what you consider a special talent? I think most of my talents fall into the category of "skill" though.

What are your hobbies?

Writing, drawing, occasionally costuming, tabletop roleplaying, character analysis/design

Have any pets?

Have I mentioned the cats? *ahem* They're actually two foster cats, though they're both going on long-term.

What sports do you play/have you played?

I used to be a dancer, before that a swimmer, but never competitively. Does competitive singing count? I did that for awhile, from elementary school and into college. My body failed me when I turned into an adult, though, so my sports are now.... uh.... Rolling dice and beating up owlbears in a fantasy setting?

How tall are you?

Tall enough that I'm not statistically short, short enough that I find tall people at concerts annoying.

Favorite subject in school?

Going with high school - either art or swing choir. Art changed focus a lot but I did an independent study in 2D animation my senior year that was awesome.

Dream job?

Oh man. This has shifted a lot over time as my physical capabilities have changed. But in a "I'm totally fine and can do everything" world... Animator. Or a history detective. Or owner of a quaint little bookshop that somehow manages to stay financially stable.

Hello!! I recently reread EHaDW (...and proceeded to reread Down Among and Sugar Skies) this week, and since my library has the audiobook, I've put the book on to play for my dad when we cook together since that's kinda our tradition, and he's loving it as much as I did! Heck, even my brother, who was just existing in the same space when we started, is invested. They just recently got to the first.... mystery (I am trying to be vague for your followers who haven't read the book yet XD) and are furious with me for not warning them LMAO. It's been wonderful together recently. I cannot wait to get my brother to read Down Among too. My brother is trans and has contamination ocd, so not only is it great for him to see representation in media through kade, but we have both quite literally never seen an OCD character in media who wasn't vilified or made into a pity-party. When I first read wayward children, I didn't quite pick it up, but after reading it when my brother's ocd got worse and then diagnosed, it jumped out to me and i was excited, because it was so well done. And then I checked your blog and found out I was right - jack DOES have ocd!! (And so do you, which is cool. My brother is always excited to find creators with shared experiences with him).

And your book was the first time I'd seen Asexuality actually named in media rather than implied or left to my headcanoning. If you can tell from my profile picture, I am aroace, and Nancy will forever hold a special place in my heart. I also just adored her relationship with Kade. Actually, I loved Kade in general. He is so sweet and kind, big brotherly and funny, and I am also just so proud of him weirdly, for how he is growing into a man to be proud of and his aunt's right-hand-man. I think he is my favorite character, lol. (Followed by Jack and Nancy and Christopher). Just, thank you so much for this series. It means a lot to my brother and I.

One of my mutuals reblogged a post from you and when I saw your url I lost my shit skhdbs did not expect you to be on tumblr but I am very happy! I have been stalking your blog for the last like, hour, so sorry for the notifications. Also, I was a post from like 2019 discussing a movie/tv adaptation; is there anything more going on about that?

What would happen if Esme was Edward's mate? Carlisle transforms Esme and BUM! She and Eddie are in love. How different would be the dynamics in the family? Would Edward still run away to be Batman? Would he come back? And so on. (Sorry for so many questions xD)

I mean, I don't believe in mates, so I'm not the one to ask.

I guess it's more "what if Edward decided that Esme was Lover and not Mother"

He May Have Problems, but Not the Ones You Think

He's alright in the Carlisle arena. Carlisle upon turning Esme did not initially pursue her. Edward, in fact, had to point out Esme's feelings for Carlisle and tell Carlisle "you're totally into her two, man". The guy was oblivious.

So, if Edward goes for Esme, you don't have Carlisle too upset as he never realized he wanted to be with Esme either.

The trouble is Esme.

First, Edward is visibly and emotionally young. He looks baby faced enough to pass for fifteen, is in fact seventeen, and has the clear emotional maturity of a teenager. You look at Edward and you think "not a man yet". Esme, by all accounts of having been interested in Carlisle (who on meeting him was an older, professional, figure posing as an adult) is not interested in the younger men.

The ease with which she treats Edward as a son, as someone younger than her who needs her support, also speaks to her never considering him a romantic option.

Then you get to Esme's backstory. Much of her history is defined by her affection for Carlisle. At sixteen she meets this doctor who quickly leaves town and falls in love with the idea of him. She then meets back up with him, years later, is turned into this crystal person, gains a son.

She has no reason to not be interested in Carlisle in favor of Edward.

And Edward showing interest in her... Well, it may bring her back from Planet Esme because how do you tell Carlisle this is getting weird that his pseduo-brother/son totally wants to bang you.

I imagine as Edward makes his intentions clear they develop an extremely uncomfortable relationship.

Edward is Also Edward

Edward has two paths (both of which are likely for him). One is that he gaslights Esme into thinking she's actually in love with him and not Carlisle. Being a telepath, this is more convincing than you'd think, as he can say both thoughts you've had (and hadn't) back to you and convince you, "You're totally thinking that"

The trick, of course, is for Esme to not feel horrified and guilty for creeping on Carlisle's son. Which means that Edward has to gaslight Carlisle to make it okay to gaslight Esme. It's a giant mess.

Edward also would likely consider himself unworthy of Esme and may push her together with Carlisle (who he sees as a far better person) anyway. He may also leave regardless out of frustration at his failing relationship, disillusionment with Carlisle and with Esme, etc.

Basically, I imagine everything's pretty much the same except Esme and Edward... don't talk to each other much.

Then Bella Happens

Trouble is, Bella still smells. Now, either Edward can accept that his only interest in Bella, his growing obsession, is due to that smell or he can be in love with her. We know what choice he made in canon.

In this one, I imagine it's even more so. Finally, he's moving on from Esme. He has found a real, pure, love untainted by bitterness that he never thought possible. He has found a woman perhaps even more perfect than Esme.

Esme, I imagine is very flummoxed but chooses to be supportive because thank Jesus, Edward's finally moving on. Esme is more invested in this relationship than she even was in canon.

If this works out, Christmas dinners will no longer be the most awkward events in the planet. She can have a life of not walking on eggshells anymore.

THIS HAS TO WORK OUT.

Esme's probably crying with relief at the end of Breaking Dawn, as she feels like she just survived a horror movie, when at all turns it looked like Bella Swan was going to die. But THEY MADE IT. DEAR GOD, THEY MADE IT.

Flips Whitefudge Headcanons:

So um, since I decided it be really interesting to ship Flips with my BB oc, Willow I thought it would be fun to list some headcanons. The more I can develop his character, the better it is for hypothetical shipping art. So here we go! 1. Flips Whitefudge's is not his legal name, only his rapper name. His legal name is Philip J. (James) van Tripp

2. He's 29 going on 30 soon. Hip hop became his and his mother's whole thing when he was 11 1/2 years old. 3. His favorite snack is white chocolate covered pretzels (big shocker I know!)

4. Flips lives with his mother until his dancing and/or rapping career takes off. He's not a complete slacker though and does try to help around the house when he's not completely distracted with his hip hop aspirations (which is admittingly almost all the time).

5. He's desperate for dance battles during his mom's hip hop classes because any time he's tried to enter a dance battle on the streets, no one takes him seriously.

6. Whitefudge was originally an insult from his younger years that made fun of his cringy attempts at being street that Flips reworked to being part of his identity in a positive way.

7. Even though hip hop dancing is his main passion, he also dabbles in beatboxing, rap battles, and is a graffiti appreciator.

8. Shelly is a single parent and got her son and herself deeply invested in hip hop 18 1/2 years ago as a trauma response to Flips' father leaving them (can't decide if I want it to be abandonment or death though). That's right, I'm making the cringy humor of Shelly and Flips linked to angst. Why can't I let just things not be that deep?! 9. "Malibu's Most Wanted" is Flips' favorite so-bad-it's-good, guilty pleasure movie to watch every now and then. He will deny any resemblance to him and the main character though. (Any time I see Flips I think of that movie even though I haven't seen it in years. So I might as well connect it to him.) XD

10. Shelly and Flips love watching "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" and "Living Single" together. (Full disclosure, I never seen "Living Single" I just picked 90s sitcoms that were centered around a hiphop/rap artists. I love Fresh Prince though.) In general, their tv majority of the time stays on the BET channel or MTV (though they still mourn the lack of music videos on the channel). 11. Shelly bans Flips from practicing any breakdancing moves that involves his head being upside down to avoid potential neck breaking. She will lift the ban when she sees her son be able to do other intense break dancing moves without literally breaking anything. 12. Flips often thinks about joining Jairo's capoeira classes to help improve his hip hop/break dancing skills but has yet to have fully commit and finally join.

13. Flips and Shelly are one of those people that unironically dab, unfortunately. 14. Flips tried to be a disc jockey a few times in his life but he never got passed doing more than small events like school dances. 15. Despite appearing confident and charming, Flips is not so great at the dating game. Most potential partners find him way too extroverted or too focused on hip hop that it's basically his only character trait, which makes him annoying. He tries not to let it get to him though because he likes himself and that's all that matters. Someday someone will be able to handle all of him, he hopes so anyway. Okay, that's all the headcanons I can think of for him so far. I hope you find them amusing or potentially useful. Maybe I'll edit this post later to add more headcanons. Only time will tell. It's only one post old and I'm already invested XD

Honestly the Superpowers AU is still in progress with a solid storyline, but I'd love to share small tidbits of the AU when I drew some more of it! Funfact : The Superpowers AU is actually a Soulmate timer au w/ powers 💀 I never really got to mention that because it'll sound weird without context.

The au is just one giant Tuckington fanfiction in disguise I'll tell you that. It originally started with "imagine, enemies to lovers Tuckington Soulmate au. BUT WITH SUPERPOWERS AND THEY ARE IN OPPOSING SIDES" I just went wild with this idea with a friend. But then I also went to have fun with the other characters in this AU too. I should definitely draw The Criminal!Reds and Blues with a pleased smile while in the background there's a burning Baskin Robbins. When I have the chance I'll share some more info bout this!
