Paulina: Danny can be bribed with cuddles, but he won't actually admit it. It's how I got him to bingewatch Jem and the Holograms with me, as well as several other shows.

Someone, probably a new sibling, friend, or teammate: Hey Danny! If I cuddle you, will you admit, on video, that you can be bribed with cuddles?

Danny, head down and avoiding eye contact: ...yeah...

Paulina: Well I guess I was wrong...

Or: Danny is touch starved af and the people who he trusts can easily use this to bribe him. His new team/family finds out about this.

Possible thing to make this Dead Serious (ignore this if you'd rather have this be a found family thing without shipping or with sibling relationships instead):

Damian is a couple feet away when that conversation happens. He is silent, but he is worried about how easily one of his newest teammates can be manipulated based on what he has just learned. He also kinda wants to give Danny lots of hugs and cuddles and let him know that he doesn't owe him or anyone else anything for it, but he's bad with feelings and expressing emotions and much like Danny, can't ask for a hug. (Danny would debatabley have an even harder time than Dami asking for a hug.)

They are not together yet, and neither have any idea the other likes them back. They're both just figuring out how they feel for themselves at this point.

Phantom is a known entity by the JLD. One of the ones who is willing to help in a tough fight. Helping out In situations such as trigon.

Here’s the thing. They all have no clue he is a halfa. There are only 3 on existence all only forming fairly recently in the grand scheme. They just assume Danny died failing to protect someone or something.

Obviously he’s obsessed with protecting others. That’s why he only shows up when stuff hits the fan. He rarely stays to chit chat and if he does it’s mainly to Raven.

Whether it be bad reveal to his parents or he got found out by the GIW.

He manages to make it to Raven after he escapes. To try and get help. He didn’t know who else to go to. She’s half demon so maybe she’d understand.

When he gets there. He can’t hold his phantom form promptly turning human and passing out from various injuries.

god ok im thinking about ramon and how strange and confusing and scary everything must be to him because spreen died and now he watched his siblings parents die and one of them came back and the other's children are convinced theirs is coming back. spreen never did. why didn't he if it's an option? is it ramon's fault?

and now he might be losing the only person that has ever constantly been in his life and he can't even talk about it because the only other person that knows is pac. and he hasn't seen pac in like a week and honestly what could he even say/do to make things better when the situation is so far out of everyone's control?

and what if ramon is IS the problem and fit dies and can't come back like tubbo? what does he do then? because like he said before, he doesn't know who he is without fit. he is so proud to be fit's son and can't imagine living without him.

and what does he do if whatever happens makes everyone so mad at them - that fit dies and he loses most of his family in one go because technically he has been aiding in spy work against most of them? they'd have every right to hate him and not want anything to do with him anymore and he'd be mostly alone again. he'd have pac and thats it.

while that is an understandable instinct, we have to remember that the main writer for protocol is Alex. that's SO much worse and none of you are talking about it.

One of the many Wolf 359 script directions that is Important To Me is this bit from Ep15 What's Up, Doc?, which comes after Hilbert has been threatening to tell Minkowski how Eiffel ended up on the Hephaestus:
