Shall We Date? Love Tangle Part 6 - Carter Harris and Oliver Cowell Routes

Loll Oliver is so unreserved, just hugging her and saying she smells nice out of the blue on their first meeting! So he came all the way to Kaleido just because Joy got him for a fashion show hmm. Oh and I never realised that the Kaleido leopards used to be raised by the royal family and they would choose the next king. No wonder why Henrik was so familiar and loving with them. Maan, Carter is so rude, I wanna punch him. So what if she doesn’t know much on her first day! Not all people are allowed to get to know the place before they start work and she’s been busy! So inconsiderate! Despite his good intentions for the leopards, Carter’s attitude continues to infuriate me just because everything that comes out of his mouth is so judgmental and practically personally attacks the other party and their professionalism as well, like when he questioned why they haven’t changed the habitat of the leopards as per his instructions. It’s like dude, the research institute is taking care of them now so they’ll take your advice after their own consideration, don’t think you’re right and others are stupid for not doing it, like who do you think you are seriously. And when he told her off for brazenly coming home with Oliver and how unprofessional it looks and how peasant she dresses omg. I think I might have strangled him already like wtf, I highly doubt anyone cares about the personal image and private life of a researcher and thinks that it’ll affect her ability to take care of animals. It’s just totally unreasonable and ridiculous. Eughh, I don’t wanna romance him.

On the other hand, I love how sweet, gentle and considerate Oliver is. He jokes around a bit but when he took her out on her day off and dressed her up, that was such a simple but kind gesture considering all the stress she’s probably been accumulating with reporting to Carter and starting a new job. Well, yes, Carter, if her life was going to be in danger with something like a kidnapping, I think a heads up would have been better than just telling her to be aware of her actions and surroundings. Guess he’s a rude awkward guy. At least he apologised and took care of her though. Felt like them moving the leopard was just a plot device with no real consideration to the leopard, how could they decide so fast and let the newbie heroine that just started working here be the sole carer and researcher that stays with it in the palace again and they just took her opinion even though they were so against it the night before. Like okaaay then, whatever our annoying future to be 2D bf Carter wants😒

Ooh, cool that her dad was the one that saved the weakened leopard when it couldn’t adjust from moving from the palace to the lab. Hopefully it adjusts well going back to the palace lol. I feel like the thing I don’t like most about the heroine and Carter’s relationship is that although she thinks he might be unreasonable or a jerk at times, she doesn’t really ever act on that thought and rather tries her best to meet his expectations. And they make it seem like he just has high expectations when really, he’s just really unreasonable at times. It’s like moving to the palace, Carter just expects her to move and gives no regard to her personal situation or anything. I hated his attitude when she chose to live there, he was saying that if she really cared about the leopard, that’s what her choice would have been, like what, I mean that’s a very harsh judgement to make and completely inconsiderate. Just because he lives to work doesn’t mean she does or has to😑

Not the most fond of Carter but it was really cute when he had a hangover and he was reluctant to drink that honey filled juice she made for him but she was insistent, so he reluctantly took a sip or two with a troubled face hahaha. I’m so surprised that Carter actually kissed her and showed his feelings, thought he’d hide it for longer since he’s rather..proud? Hahaha. I wonder what he wants to do though~ I’m not sure how I feel about the heroine letting Oliver kiss her just because she’s a bit sad though… I mean, nothing has been explained or resolved, she knows that she likes Carter and is set on him but still allows that to happen… I know Carter and her aren’t dating yet but I thought she’d be stronger than this… Oliver is such a great bro though, he shouts and motivates her when she needs it, and he goes along with her to find Carter to help and protect her too! So it’s good that everything is finally over with the evil uncle trying to kill the leopard that picks the next king and so Carter can finally show her how he really feels without any more interruptions~

LOL, I thought it was already established that Carter and her were in a relationship, I don’t know why the heroine doesn’t think so and really thinks that just because she leaves the palace that she’ll never see him again.. still not sure about Carter since he’s so bossy and harsh and there isn’t enough sweetness and relationship time in this route to make up for that, so overall nah, didn’t like this one hahahha.

On to Oliver! Please don’t disappoint me! Time to see why he seems dodgy and suspicious! Oliver’s appearance is my favourite out of all the guys and that pink hair just makes him all the more unique but cute. He was such a caring and kind guy in Carter’s route too so my expectations might be too high hahaha. But omg when they drank alcohol together in his room and he kept kissing her! Scandalous haha! I doubt anything happened that night though, she was probably way too drunk haha. Getting to see a top model’s dress rehearsal and it’s Oliver so that is like the best thing ever! He’d look cool in anything, especially when coupled with his cute and friendly personality. How lucky for the heroine that she got to take a professional photo shoot with him, it sounded so sensual and fun hahaha.

I’m so sad that Oli was the culprit for putting a flower that agitates the leopards with them. I mean, it was obvious that he wasn’t good but seeing it wasn’t nice.. So he’s a spy under Henrik’s uncle that’s I guess exploiting his skills. Crazy for the heroine to be confessed to by two guys in the same night! Except the one she loves ran off and their love can’t be realised considering his crimes towards the leopards. I guess it’s kinda true that Oli was used and abandoned though and it’s not like he did it because he really wanted to. It’s so wonderful to see Andrea treat Oli like a true friend by supporting and caring for him as much as he is able to. And now that the insider info and photos Oli and Andrea got have been revealed to the world of Henrik’s uncle’s wrongdoings, Oli is able to get away from the uncle and Henrik is willing to give him permanent citizenship here so yay! He can continue being a great model here~~ CG was prettyyy, happy to see them being able to be genuinely playful and happy together, I guess it was a weird but nice route. Spy thing felt unnecessarily added or complicated for no reason, but Oli’s personality is so lovable, I like him a lot haha! Overall, although Oliver’s story was lacking, his personality really outshines Carter’s imo, so Oli ftw!
