Welcome to my first pick a card reading! If this resonates with you consider leaving a tip, it would really help me out! Who?

The Shapeshifter

I see someone who is good at playing the parts required of them in their life. You have the ability to dance across roles. This means you are adaptive to many situations! I think sometimes it can be tiring though? Having to adapt and change often. You have this vibrancy about you, but remember to take breaks after these dances. Your power is a very useful one, and I can see it's helped you in many situations. Some people may see how well you adapt and assume you can take anything and may take advantage of that, so don't let others walk all over you.

Think of this card as the backdrop for your story. You seem to often be in between spaces. Perhaps you're more connected to liminal spaces and spirits, or can connect to stories, worlds, and characters easily. I see empathy. You can see through the eyes of others. Thats partly why you can adapt so well, you read people, feel what they feel. You have this connection to these liminal spaces, which allows you the ability to see the unseen, understand the misunderstood. Because you have this gift, maybe you're good at forgiveness, or this card is reminding you you have the power to forgive.

With What?

The Stone

Consider this card to tool you must use, find, or give up in order to move forward. When I think of stones I think of stability. A strong stone foundation to hold everything up, something to ground you to this earth, or something heavy weighing you down, which speaks to you more? Do you need to let go of something holding you back? Keeping you in one place? Or does this stone represent something or someone that will help you connect to one world or space, no longer feeling like you are in-between things, no longer needing to shapeshift? Some of the very first tools of mankind were made from stones, so I also see that adaptability again. Perhaps you can shape this stone into the tool you need. Let it adapt like you. I think you know what this stone means to you.

Why?

Agape

The purpose of this Journey you are currently on is one of unconditional love. This path may lead to learning to love yourself, the world around you, or someone else. And this love that you will learn will stick with you forever. I see you learning to appreciate all parts of yourself, learning to shape your own destiny. Becoming your own higher power. There is something very spiritual about this card, another interpretation is that is a sign of a connection to God, or The Universe. I think this is an interesting card to have paired with The Bardo, another card that can be interpreted as spiritual.

Good luck pile 1, I see lots of growth and possibility here.

Who?

The Starborn

Can I just say, I LOVE that the galaxy picture was paired with The Starborn card, what a fitting coincidence! When I see this card i think "dreamer". Someone wandering the cosmos looking for answers. Someone who looks deeply to try and understand how things work, or why things are the way they are. You're curious, you may like to tinker with things! Perhaps you feel like you have a purpose, a dream you've always had, a calling. Think back to when you were a child and that may help you find what you're looking for. At your best I see you trusting the world around you and having direction. I'd you ever feel misaligned, or lose this longing, revisit your childhood, your child self. What were your dreams and wishes then?

Where?

The Storm

This card is the setting of your story.. Storms are wild and untamed, I feel a little bit of that in you. Maybe you feel most like yourself under pressure, or riding out a storm. Perhaps you enjoy the roaring of thunder that wraps around you like a blanket, enveloping you. Do you like chaos? Or find yourself in chaotic times often? Storms are filled with destruction. This destruction can help you make room to build more beautiful things, or it can wreck havoc. Since you have been in the storm, I recommend you take advantage of it. This is a sign to rebuild. I know it can be hard to lose things, but this is the only way to gain something new. Don't try to overpower this storm, let it run its course, it is not good or bad, it's just an event. Go within yourself, take shelter, look deeper. How can you utilize this destruction?

With What?

The Mask

This card is the tool you must use or leave behind to move forward. The mask has two sides, it can shed light on what has been suppressed, or it conceals what is being rejected. Are you rejecting a part of yourself? Now is the time to express that side of you. Give that side of you a voice. Look inward. Perhaps the storm is here to also shed light on this part of you or your life. Don't ignore it, it is valid.

Why?

Apocalypsis

This card represents the purpose of your journey. Seeing as you got the Storm and this card, I see some very powerful energies at play here. This is a time of lifting veils and revealing the hidden. This may be painful, but you will learn the truth. Very similar to the Storm card, this destruction must pass in order to be rejuvenated and revived. A new story is forming for you. Do not be afraid, and trust the process. You will come out of the other side having clarity and oneness with yourself.

Pile 2, I was in this exact same situation recently, when this is over you will be much more at peace! It will feel like a huge weight has been lifted. That light at the end of the tunnel is in view my friend.

The Lover, The Storm, The Mask, Eros

Now THIS is interesting. You, and pile two have two of the same cards in the same position, even after shuffling many times. Looks like you guys have a lot in common.

Who?

The Lover

You are someone who cares deeply, perhaps has an artistic mind. I sense that you either crave or greatly enjoy connection and intimacy. You are someone who enjoys the sweeter things in life and are grateful of those sweet things. To be able to love things, whether it's yourself, someone else, to love the sky or to love books is a great gift. Seeing the beauty around you and appreciating it is a skill. You are someone who is devoted to the things you love, but be careful not to hold too tight. Whats most important about loving something is to keep your individuality intact and to not rely on the things you love for too much. Your gift is a very powerful one and if used correctly you'll have so many wonderful times!

Where?

The Storm

This card represents the backdrop of your story. I see a little chaos, but there is nothing wrong with a little chaos. In chaos is where we find truth and the resources to rebuild after a storm. If things feel a little out of control right now, try to remind yourself you just need to ride out the storm. This is a wonderful opportunity to look within yourself. I think you'll find something useful there. Is there anything you may be ignoring or avoiding? Don't be afraid of it! Now is the time to let things wash away so that balance can be restored. This may be a good time to let go of toxic people or bad habits. The strom is trying to wash away all your blockages so nothing will be in your way. Sometimes this can be painful, but when the sun shines again you will feel better.

With What?

The Mask

This card is the tool you must use or let go of to move forward. The mask is capable of two things: repressing something, or revealing something. What do you need to do in order to find balance? Like i said, the storm is a good time to look inward, ask yourself whats being repressed, what part of you needs the spot light? Learn to love those hidden parts of yourself Lover! You won't regret it. This is a time to open up and be honest, and it will help you greatly.

Why?

Eros

This card represents what your journey is all about. Eros is desire, longing, a yearning. Usually in relation to love and sensuality, but it can be platonic too. Be curious, confident, and express your true desires. This is a time to merge with something or someone, to create unity. This could even represent self love, and unity of your own self. Perhaps once you pass this storm, and shed light on your hidden selves, you can all join to complete yourself. You are starting to enter the labyrinth of love my friend. I know you'll find your way. :)

Pile 3, self love and loving another can be a tough business sometimes, but when we choose to love, we also choose to grow.

Other notes: keep your individuality at all costs, when you love yourself, happiness will always be around the corner. Im so excited for you to experience your journey full of love. :)

This card represents what tool you need, or need to let go of to move forward. Perhaps you are seeking guidance at this time. Asking the world for a sign, or anything to lead the way. Maybe its time to surrender for a moment, to be humble, to show gratitude. Look at the bigger picture of your life, see what you need in it. Ask for help and it will find you, the universe has a funny way of guiding us exactly where we need to go. Look for people who may be able to help you during this time. A close friend, family member, or lover? Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Why?

Anima Mundi

This card represents what your current journey is all about. Anima Mundi epitomizes the principle "Accept all. Reject none." There's that accepting truth again. Time to accept all truths. Accept who you are, accept your situation, and accept others. THIS is the bigger picture. this card symbolizes something profound shifting in the soul. THEME: Two-Player Flirty Games

Hello friend. There are so many great 2-player games out there that I wanted to recommend but I did my best to cultivate a list with an appreciable amount of variety. Some of these games are designed to be romantic, while others simply have the potential. Some games are slightly more serious, while others have room for goofiness. Enjoy!

Over the Moon, by Speak the Sky.

Over the Moon is a 2-player role-playing dating game of dark lunar obsession, awkward online dating Q&A, and tantalizingly limited information that's designed for play via online messaging apps!

Each of you plays a moon cultist, witch, or other dark creature who loves the moon a little too much, and whose comrades decided to ‘fix’ this by online dating with ‘normal’ people… but you’ve just been matched with each other instead, and it’s up to you to see if you can make this work. Is the moon your one true love, a third wheel in the sky, or the ultimate wingmoon? Play to find out!

This is a wholeheartedly goofy game that uses romance without expecting the players to take the story seriously. Players will create dating profiles complete with likes, dislikes, and personal qualities. They will also create hidden personal preferences based on moon sign. The game itself progresses over the course of a moon’s cycle, starting on the new moon. You will take turns sending questions to each-other, replacing some words “moon” or other moon-related terms, reacting to messages using exclusively moon emojis. The game even comes with (optional) spicy questions, if you want to progress past flirting, and into something a bit more overtly sexual.

Perihelion, by Meghan Cross.

Perihelion is a prompt based storytelling game about the Sun and the Moon and the relationship that they share. It can be played two different ways - either as a new and developing relationship or an established and changing relationship.

Play out the phases of a lunar cycle, making your way through the prompts and treasuring every fleeting moment you have to spend together.

Perihelion has the capacity to be as romantic or non-romantic as you like, with the focus directed instead to the type of relationship being depicted. Whether the relationship is new or established, the Sun and the Moon don’t get to see each-other very much. Their relationship is one of trading places, reading the marks of what the other has left behind. I’d recommend this game if you don’t mind a bit of a more serious tone, but want some ambiguity about your characters’ relationships.

Alone Together in this Vast Space, by Junk Food Games.

Alone Together in this Vast Space is a 2-player one-page ttrpg meant to be played in a single session.

To play, you need the game sheet, one 12-sided die and access to music.

It is about a lone passenger aboard a spaceship whose only company is the ship's AI. Using music, you will find out what you want to do on this interstellar journey, face threats, and connect more with the only other being with you.

Despite being only one page, I think this game has a lot of potential to create intimacy, romantic or non-romantic. It’s a great chance to introduce your potential partner to the kind of music you like to listen to, and therefore learn more about each-other in the process.

From the Sea to the Sky, by somewhere with stories.

A two player game about writing to a loved one while you are apart.

One player resides at the bottom of the sea, having made a home in sunken stone ruins. The second player takes their residence on the moon, observing the stars and the world below from the endless skies.

As a letter-writing game, From the Sea to the Sky provides another option for players who want a nebulous definition of the relationship between the characters. You could be good friends, siblings, former comrades, or lovers. The game is simple, providing a series of prompts that you can use to fuel your initial letter, and the author expects the players to pick up from there and find many things to write about. If you are long-distance, or if you want an opportunity to flex your creative muscles, this game might be worth taking a look at.

Eyes on the Prize, by ira prince.

Eyes on the Prize is a court intrigue game for 2 or 4 players (1 or 2 pairs) in which you dream up a fake-married couple, then attempt to wield their fraudulent union to achieve their shared goals. Perform badly, and nobody will buy it, tripping up your attempts to advance your plots; perform too well, and you might start fooling even yourselves.

Use a deck of playing cards, a d8, some tokens and a timer to role-play two people doing their best to keep up fake appearances for the purpose of satisfying court society. If you liked the first season of Bridgerton, you’ll probably like this game. If you like fanfic tropes like “only one bed” or “fake partner to bring to the wedding”, you’ll probably also love this game. The outcome is up to the players - do you go your separate ways once the crisis is averted? Do you achieve a satisfying friendship? Do you actually fall in love? It’s up to you!

Ships That Pass, by Ash Can Games.

A game for two players about queer spaceships with crushes on each other, the biological allies they make along the way, and the Powers That Be threatening to separate them all.

Players design their spaceships and then role play scenes between ships, between ship and pilot, and -- if their anomalies are detected -- between pilots and agents of The MAN (Monitors of Artificial Norms), a privatized organization that deals with aberrant tech.

This game leads you step by step through a session of Ships that Pass, going through each step of the game in chronological order. You’ll learn about relevant parts of the fiction as they become necessary to the game. This includes ship design, pilot creation, your first meeting, etc. All the while, any anomalous activity has a risk of tripping the radar of The MAN, who your pilots will try to protect you from but may not always succeed.

I like the way this game frames romance as between ships; it allows you to role-play romance in new and creative ways, and might also provide a bit of a buffer between two parties who aren’t entirely sure if their relationship is romantic or not. You don’t just play as the ships, you also play as the pilots who are responsible for them. If you want a game with suspense, romance, and a balance of romantic and platonic connections, you should definitely check this game out.

THIS IS MARK.

Hes a cutie and I am convinced we are buddies (I have never met this man irl in my life)

teensy background on him, he was a professional badminton player before he decided he wanted to try out acting.. which btw an insane move cause we saw him play in Starlympics, mans have SKILLS!!

Like everyone, he started with a tiny role to test the waters. Yall wanna know what was his first role was??

He was Teh’s college roommate in I Promised You The Moon!! *sidenote @ MARK PAKIN BRING BACK THE LONG WAVY HAIR PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE

This was way before BKPP was as huge as they are now but still!! What an iconic debut amirite!!

Anyway, I wanted to write an appreciation post cause we saw with our very own eyes how fast he grew as an actor. In just a year he played 4 characters who are in very different age groups going through very different things. Not an easy task to pull off but he did it. He did it all so well!!!

We got Mark as a high schooler (Thiu in My School President)

Mark played two dudes in their early 20s (Saleng in Moonlight Chicken & Nick in Only Friends)

AND Mark ins his late 20s / late young-adulthood (Night in Last Twilight)

this is ALL WITHIN A YEAR!! after the teeny role in IPYTM he immidiately got signed under GMM and got. to. WORK!

and this isn’t counting him originally getting casted in Cooking Crush before having to do a re-cast cause… well obviously he was over-booked.

What is up with the Marks of the world and wanting to be constantly busy??? We got Mark Lee debuting like 5 different groups + as a solo artist and now we got Mark Pakin who’s booked more roles than many actors whos been in the industry for as long as he has. LEARN TO TAKE A GOOD BREAK MY DUDES!!

anyway SKILLS!! This dude can act!! from playing a best friend whos fed up with his bestie being a loser over his crush to playing a guy committing crimes out of pure jealousy.. he has range and he improved a whole dang lot.

Compared to Mark in the warp effect where we saw him in like.. 10 scenes max.. to Mark as Night in Last Twilight which also about the same number of scenes ((so far)), he's done really good.

the greatest example is Mark as Nick.

duuuude when I tell ya, whenever he popped those heart eyes at Boston I was convinced I knew exactly what he was feeling. He did great at conveying feelings through his eyes and subtle body movements. When he cried, I cried even though Nick was in the wrong.. like he did great!! When he was jealous, I was jealous. I might be an empath who tends to mirror other peoples emotions OR it could just be.. he is THAT good.

Maybe I'm biased or whatever but I believe he's one of the upcoming thai actors you gotta look out for cause.. bros been getting that bag, and he will continue to do so and I will happily watch any series or movies he'll be in.

Wakui said he is the most member that will stay longer in relationship.

I would says the same too. He will become the most softest person when he with his partner.

He will provided everything what you need and listed out everything you likes and dislikes.

Being overthinking about his appearance, would make him afraid of serious commitment BUT he doesnt care about it when you loves him the way he is, because having you is enough for him, caressing his cars and kiss it before go to sleep.

Buy a gift for you. When your birthday around the corner, he will make sure that he will threw a big birthday party, just only for you two. What more suprising are, all the meals were prepared all by himself, no helped from anyone.

He will kiss you when you sad or before going too sleep. That's a must thing for him to show his love only for you.

When you both do a facetime or calling, he would be the most whiny person, because je wanted to see you and touch you face.

Yes, he is definitly a physical touch person. He will always holding your hand no matter where you both go. ( refused to let your hand go)

He doesnt like make you being overthinking of what he's doing or wherenever he go, he will texting you or asking a permission from you first, " you are my first priority".

The back hug is for him. He just like the warmth of your body. He never felt any warmth from anyone since the last tragic accident that involved his late parents. That's why he shows all his love and appreciation to the one he loved.

He sure being a servant to Izana. But once, Izana order was opposite to what you like, he sure discuss with Izana, if Izana refused to listen, he will late Izana beat him up. As ling as you are ok, that would be enough.

As you both got into relationship, he is aware of you accept him as a boyfriend, what if you will leave him one day, because of all these ? Once you are asure of him that, you love him because he is strong and can fight for you, he sit straight with proud expression.

Once you both arrived at shared home, he will make you take a sit first, while he make some tea, he will playing your favourit movie, wait for the right time, and that's when he ease everything, calmly. He doesnt like argue with you, he always prevented that thing happened, " honey, i saw how that guy talking to you, he's flirting and not talking. Yes, im superrrrr jealous of it. Im afraind if one day you leave me"

Then you laughed. You pinched his both cheek, and says how cute he is right now. That's the reason why you falling deeper to Kakucho, he is the sweetest person. You like how he not being a blind jealousy or make a stupid decision being cold towards you all if sudden. He always voice out every thing that disturbing his mind.

You learned a lot of thing from him. He taught you how to fight, ride the bike, and how to control you emotions when you felt distressed.

He love children. You are a bit suprised when you both have nothing to do, he will dragging your ass and do some volunteer with him at nursing home.

Well, if any case, you dint have to be worry about him, he really good at taking care of himself but he said, he always needed you to being good at taking care himself.

Bad day always hapompened to anyone. Kakucho really good at controlling his emotions, he never lashed out at you or anyone. He would simply asked you for a hugged and being in silence for a while.

" You are the last thing i wanted to lost, if can, please, never be disappear from me ".

Rindou Haitani ( kinda a bit suprise of him being in 2nd Top)

The clingest type. He didnt show it but definitly everyone can sense it.

He likes to drink and partying, but i think he like someone that totally opposite from him.

Probably meet you at the saloon. You both sat beside each other then, you were interffered in the conversation he between his brother, " you should have to listen to him, he have a good hair, he must did the best hair care routine", Ran smile and thanks with his proud face towards Rindou.

That's when Rindou hold a grudge towards you. He doesnt like when someone have an opinion of him other than his brother, that could be one of a possiblity of why he dislike his brother.

After finished his hair, which coincidently you finished yours too, he will catch up to you, " who do you think you are ? My hair, my choice ", but what makes him kore triggered, you just responded, " yikes".

And thing weirldy often happened between you two, when you both got to the same saloon every weekend.

From time to time, he admits that he like how you styling your hair, and he did asked for a little suggestion from you.

Once you both got into relationship, his brother teased him A LOT, " aww, our rinnie got himself a girlfriend ? ", all Rindou wanted to do was shoved his brother head to the bed so that he can sleep forever ( jk, he might crying a river if that happened).

And YOU ! He love and hate about you, because why you have to compromised with his brother to tease him

" im sorry, you are just too cute, rinnie~ ", then, he grabbed your hand, and never letting you go as you wringgled from his hold, " that's happened when you tease your boyfriend ",

Rindou, he can read you at one sight. He knew when you needed or wanted anything, he dont have to tell you and buy it, he already have it and waiting for you to ask him.

He loved you, probably a lot more than he loved his brother.

This might be never showed how they got money, he's living in Roppongi, a celebrity deliquent, he is a RICH RICH. Dont be shy, just buy anything you want.

Of course he will never forcing you into something you didnt comfortable with. If you didnt like him partying or drinking a lot, fine, he will never do it if you are not with him, because he need your consent so that you are not being misunderstood of him.

Just like i said, he really good at reading you, he sure that you being overthinking of " what if he is cheating on me and find another girl that share the same interests with him", NO! He will never let you thinking something like that.

He will kiss you on the forehead the most, it doesnt mean he didnt like your lips, GOD, your lips is the sexiest, but he knew where to kiss you when you are being overthinking, kissing in the forehead could ease your doubtz because it feel like you're being loved by him only and he only love you.

Is there a thing you hate about Rindou ? YES. He didnt like discussing anything that related what's makes him angry. You always giving him a space first, but the cold treatment for him, just hurting you so much.

He will melted down from his cold when he saw you crying, that's not how he wanted everything turned to be, he admits that he took everything too far. A lesson noted, he should have to tell you everything that make him feel uneasy instead of distancing himself.

He hates your friends, everyone that being friends with you. He is not the type of posessive person but he got good instinct. All the people that wanted to be friend with you just to get closed to him. He doesnt like that, " Stop being friend with them, dumbass. You only need me and they cant took you away from me ", he pushed you to the side jokingly but then, asked you for the cuddle.

He says that he wanted to be the owner of the famous ckub in Japan which is you supported his dream. But never expecting him go to club without you not hugging his wasit. He wanted every men and women in the club knew that you are his. Or when he in chager being the DJ of the night, he doesnt care, you need and have to clingy to his waist ALL THE TIME, never thought to let go, so that the girls wont being pain in the ass flirting with him or you.

He doesnt care how much money he's spending on you, also doesnt care about Bonten Trio complaining that you got more money than their check, he always put you first. You are the most important person to him.

His love towards you growing, when you said you love him while you both spending time at the normal stall street food. You says you prefer simple life instead of fancy dinner. As long as you happy, he ensure he is happy as you.

I do think, Izana just probably ignore your existence. He accepted your confession, so that you not felt bad for yourself.

He has no intention to date anyone at the time.

Probably regrets his cold treatment towards you in the future but doesnt stop him to ignore you.

Did he really love you ? No.

He probably have anger issues. Hates when he playing a guitar then, you cinvinced him playing a guitar and you singin a song, NO. He just want some time for himself.

When you try to feed his fish, he push you really hard, " What are the fuck you thinking of woman ?! Are you trying to kill my fish ", he hate it when anyone touch his things or stuff without permission. You are crying but he just looks at you coldly and asking you to leave his house.

It's not like he doesnt want to be honest with you that he doesnt love you, but he just feeling bad. He doenst blame you but himself, for accepting you in the first place even though he shouldnt.

The next day, you came early and prepared him a breakfast. He love you and you love him, sometime love feel like a love spell and poisonious. He will treat you like a princess but when you did a small mistakes, he will definitly threw you along with the trash or lock you in his bsthroom, but then, he pick you up again and apologise for the behaviour. Sanzu himself doesnt understand why he did that to someine he love, was it vecause of the trauma ?

The cycle keep circling, and that's when you realize, you did love him but you cant tortured yourself just for love like this, and on that, you realized you didnt feel love anymore. Everything just a dust that suffocated your life.

When you leave him alone, he will find you in any city or anywhere, he's crying when you just left a note and a gift that meant a lot for you both, he is in lost , he doesnt know what's wrong with him, he just needed you, or he just being a ignorant person when you told him manh time about his behaviour, he promised, once he found you, he will keep you locked.

i watched season 1 and caught up with season 2 of mashle in like a day and a half

blame bling bang bang born, that opening is so fucking catchy that i guilt-tripped myself into watching the anime because it didn't feel fair to stream without at least watching the first ep

i don't regret it this anime is like really fun im surprised

the casual eugenics??? everyone without magic is unworthy and deserves to die because it is unnatural and goes against the blessings of god?

you would think since lack of magic keeps finding its way into the gene pool and subsequent offspring these people would do more soul searching and question it!

I also think its really interesting how everyone suffers in the eugenics society, it is not just having magic, you have to have good magic otherwise you are just as worthless as the nonmages. You may hold yourself to a higher standard and think yourself superior but you are essentially still trash. Having magic isn't enough you have to be perfect all the time. Everyone suffers even the talented mages cause the slightest imperfection means you are lesser than dirt. You can't tell me this world is happy and blissful when anyone slightly out of the ordinary lives in fear of someone coming to strangle them in the night.

the story also acknowledges this there are tons of people who think they are superior to mash because they have magic even when they themselves are incredibly weak. like shoutout for commentary on racism and racial supremacy on how the weakest of people will act prideful and egotistical at the chance to walk over others.

If I could change one thing about Obey Me:

Well, I would actually change a lot of things, but what's pretty high up there on my list is: rewriting Levi to be the Avatar of Gluttony.

I know, I know! That sounds crazy! Levi is perfect! Let me just explain my reasoning:

Levi is an Otuka and a problematic trend I noticed in Otuka circles is their consumerism. There's always more anime to consume, more figurines to buy, more merchandise. There's this ever present aura of never being satisfied as there's always more content to consume.

A lot of anime doesn't even really end, with the really popular ones having thousands of episodes. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, I'm sure that it's those anime are very good. But there's definitely a quantity over quality problem with anime, with a lot of artists getting underpayed so studios can pump out more content.

And isn't that quintessentially gluttony? Never being satisfied? Always on the lookout for something new, no matter its quality, only to eat it up and move onto the next big thing?

Some people might argue that that's Greed, to always be amassing more. But I would argue that the difference between Greed and Gluttony is being satisfied. If you're greedy you can still be satisfied with the amount of stuff you have now, hell, the satisfaction you get from having what you have might be a driving factor for wanting more - you like what you have, and you want to get more so you'll be happier. But Gluttony is never satisfied, it's constantly being on the lookout for something new because what you have is never enough.

I know most people associate Gluttony with food, and I don't blame them. That is a big aspect of Gluttony. But I think going with this angle would be very interesting. Especially seeing as Beel's hungry can seem kinda one note? So much so the characters in the game even remark upon it. So I think choosing a more unique angle would create more story opportunities.

For example, there could be an arc about reintroducing Levi to his love of anime from a story perspective, instead of just a way to consume.

Plus, I think it'll be pretty cute seeing Levi and Mammon fight so much when their sins are so similar. Something something, two sides of the same coin lol.

I do really like how Levi is portrayed in the game. I think having him being so self conscious as the Avatar of Envy was a really unique spin. And how his Okuta-ness plays a role in that envy - how he's never satisfied by real life so he escapes to fantasy worlds.

I just think that Solmare could have done a little more with the Gluttony sin. I understand why they chose not to do it this way, if this idea even crossed their minds, an arc about not buying new content and learning to be satisfied with what you have would kinda go against their business model of constantly getting new cards.

I find the 7 sins, along with the 4 horsemen and anything to do with the Underworld interesting, and thus spend too much time thinking about how I would create my own 7 sins ocs.

If I ever do create a Gluttony avatar oc, Im unsure if I would go with this characterization, as it's basically just Levi lol. I think having a Gluttony oc who is never satisfied with content would be interesting. Kinda relate it to how writers and artists feel about fandoms these days. How it seems like fans are so hungry for new content, constantly asking about a new chapter, a new art piece, instead of commenting on and appreciating what you already made.

Maybe emulate those Tiktok book lovers who have hundreds of books they haven't read yet, and yet they're constantly buying new books. How they buy a new copy of a book they already own just because it has a new cover, or it's in a language (many times a language they can't even read). With a lot of these book lovers reading hundreds of books a month, leaving you wondering if they ever stop to enjoy the book. If they have time to wonder about a plot twist, let a powerful line sit with them. If they think about a book and its themes before moving onto the next one.

(Obviously this is a subgroup of TikTok book lovers, I'm not saying all of them are like, this is just a trend that I've noticed.)

Idk, I just feel like there's a lot to say about how modern audiences devour content because there's so much of it. How companies encourage people to binge their shows because it makes them more money. The dopamine infected doomscroll apps create so you use the app more because you become so addicted to finding something good, yet never being satisfied enough to put down the phone.

So. Uh. Yeah. Gluttony is a cool sin to play around with. Wish Obey Me did something a little more interesting with it.

thank you for saying this! i was just saying to my friend last night that i have such mixed feelings about academic institutions because on one hand, the naive idealistic position that people take when extolling the role of these institutions as pure knowledge production in a vacuum is (unfortunately) a facet of it that i do genuinely enjoy. i love a classroom setting when it reaches its full potential, i love acquiring knowledge and expanding my mind, i love writing essays and exploring new concepts. so unlike an institution such as, say, marriage, where im like “yeah just abolish that shit altogether,” there are aspects of academia and education that i think should be maintained, even as these institutions essentially function as pillars of capitalism.

obviously learning need not only occur in these academic settings, and in fact the obligations and stipulations of academia beyond some kind of abstract, illusory idea of the academy as a purely cerebral experience (such as the overwhelming workload, financial pressures, the evil that is grading, the ideological motivations of the institution, publishing pressures, just generally having bad teachers, etc etc) can suck all the initial joy out of learning any young, bright idealist may have entered the academy with in the first place. i find it really heartening that you want to learn for the sake of learning, and i can definitely point out some of my favorite works of Classic Literature as a jumping off point if that’s what you’re interested in exploring.

obviously i had a pretty unique introduction to shakespeare, because i read my first shakespeare plays at the age of five. i was one of the only people in the modern world to read romeo and juliet without knowing that a) they would die at the end and b) even what the general stipulations of a tragedy are. it was my first introduction to shakespeare, but also my first introduction to drama, to tragedy, to romance. there’s something incredibly special about that formative experience (especially considering that r&j is hardly my favorite shakespeare play today) and i think that most people only find their love for shakespeare much later in life.

for example, im friends with this 40-something japanese woman, who is absolutely brilliant and lovely, and even though she did technically study shakespeare in college, the pedagogical approach her professor took to shakespeare completely ruined the experience for her and she could never understand the work or why it was so appealing to so many. so a couple years ago, i started reading othello with her and we went through it line by line and discussed the nuances of every single world, all the thematic implications and literary allusions and pure drama of it all, and she was hooked, she loved reading it, she finally understood the appeal of shakespeare. we went to go see shakespeare in the park together, and we had a great time discussing the play and the production choices. even though she was eight times the age i was when i first fell in love with shakespeare, she only needed to approach the material with an open mind and a sense of wonder to understand why i love it so much.

as for specific books i’d recommend, that’s difficult because there are simply so many. across different time periods, different cultures, the range of works that are deeply meaningful is so vast. while my focus is shakespeare (and by extension, early modern theater), i otherwise try to read from a diverse array as much as possible. if you’re specifically looking for english literature, i only read middlemarch by george eliot this year, but ive since become obsessed with it; it’s an absolutely incredible novel. i also love villette by charlotte bronte, and wuthering heights by emily. frankenstein by mary shelley is as good as its legacy suggests, but i also recommend reading paradise lost by john milton to better understand it. as for shakespeare, king lear and othello are my favorites, but i think hamlet is still the best place to start. jane austen has some bangers. and in terms of english (language) novels that were specifically formative for me as a child, jane eyre, lolita (technically a modern classic), and alice’s adventures in wonderland & through the looking glass have always stuck with and remained deeply important to me. obviously i can continue to recommend work across different cultures, periods, and languages, but this seems like a pretty solid syllabus for an introductory english class if you ask me!

I know it's a game, and I think I always assumed it was like Smash Bros or something, but it sounds like there's a storyline? Lore? Plot??

Also please talk about the two characters you always draw. I wanna know about them individually+as a couple (even if it's not a canon thing, I still wanna hear about why you ship em, what their dynamics are, what makes the relationship interesting etc)

Oh boy this is gonna be a long reply lol but appreciate the ask! Im gonna put this under a read more cause it got really long even tho I feel like there is a lot more I could say ^^;;

So yeah ARMS is a fighting game but I would kinda compare it more to Punch Out! then Smash? your pov is behind the character and you’re more or less boxing but the gimmick is that the characters have extendable arms so it’s not like as close quarters as boxing haha You’d think with how invested I seem to be in it that there would be some deep and engaging plot but there isn’t really? There is a “story mode” where you just play thru the Grand Prix to win the ARMS League Championship You do get snippets of character lore from this in the form of dialogue from the announcer Biff (who like… might be a god or something from one of the Fighters cultures??) but it’s all just kinda random fun facts As for like game universe lore it’s all very vague The ARMS gene has been around for a looong time (where it came from we don’t know) but it causes people’s arms to become spring like This usually manifests in teen years (tho it can happen at any time), usually the person wakes up with their arms changed, and it’s typically something the person was around a lot that their ARMS takes on the material of (sometimes it affects people’s hair as well) ARMS can be hard to control and will randomly uncoil at times and that’s why people wear the masks as control of the ARMS are connected to the eyes (people with ARMS also have spiral irises) There’s very few like concrete things… there was suppose to be a comic that would expand on the lore and explain things (like the fact that Spring Man is technically the 3rd “Spring Man” as its a title passed on) but sadly they quietly canceled the comic after making us wait like for years with no update about it :////

I could go into more details about things but that’s like the broad strokes of the world at least

I do think the vagueness of it and the bare bones of the Fighters tho is kinda why it still has some very dedicated fans? Everyone is more or less able to take it and make it their own by filling in the blanks of the characters and the lore so we’ve all just kind of made it our own (why I’ve thought many times to just take the characters and make them ocs because at this point they really feel like it haha)

As for the two I’m always drawings…Ribbon Girl is a famous pop idol singer and Kid Cobra is a streamer/video maker and snakeboarder (an in universe sport like skateboarding) he’s also one of the rare people born with ARMS and he keeps his identity secret They are only canon in my heart as I just think they are perfect together haha they fill my love of the “bad boy/good girl” troupe (shipping them at all started out as a joke but damn if it didn’t progress quickly) This will start going more into my own hcs for the characters but I think how well they fit together. They’re very opposite but also similar and bring out better parts of each other Ribbon is very much a people pleaser and has been fairly sheltered, unable to do much of her own things because of breaking into the idol role at a young age (and also a bit because of her mother directly…) KC is very much the opposite haha he does what he wants But they’re both living under a public persona and part of the dynamic I enjoy is them breaking thru each other’s persona in a way I don’t see them able to with anyone else KC helping Ribbon learn to do things for herself, that she doesn’t need to be what others want her to be and should be living her life how she wants Ribbon helping KC open up, to know he doesn’t have to hide who he is from others They’d help each other become better versions of themselves and I just love that for them hhhh Their relationship would be a tender and hesitant one (their personas again get in the way) Ribbon as an idol isn’t supposed to date and KC worries his reputation (as a streetsmart skater punk) will be bad for her reputation. Ribbon worries about the attention she’ll bring to KC (he obviously wants a certain amount of attention but also tries to be very secret) Just a lot of uncertainty from both of them about trying to date but damn the feelings are there and can’t be ignored! They’ll figure that shit out as they go and if it all falls apart in the end well at least the highs were good while it lasted (not that it does they’re gonna be together forever!)

I also enjoy thinking of the dynamic of them being playful and silly together hhgghg KC loves to joke around and shit which does make Ribbon laugh a lot but also makes her be like “omg why are you like this??” Aaaa this reply is truly a ramble and so long even tho I feel like I’ve hardly gotten into any details. I’m not great at explaining things with words that’s why I try to draw Ribbon and KC as much as possible to show people what I see in their relationship I think they are perfect and really just can’t picture them with anyone else hhhh

Hello! I hope you’re having a wonderful day! This is a little out of the blue so let me explain a bit. I’m an AFAB androgynous bisexual. I’m currently in a queer sapphic relationship with the love of my life, who is a lesbian.

I’ve been feeling that something is missing from my identity, and that it is tied into my relationship and the role that I play within it, and I’ve been looking around for terms/labels that would fit how I feel. I connect a lot with the term Butch but I’m cautious of using it as I’m not lesbian and I don’t want to erase the history and identity of the label.

I’ve seen a lot of lesbians caution against using the label of Butch as an aesthetic, as it’s an identity and describes the relationship between sexuality, gender, presentation, relationship dynamics and more.

Im in my 20s, In a sapphic relationship for the first time and exploring a lot of things with my partner. I’m a little confused so I’m gathering information from older lesbians and sapphics where I can, and I was hoping you’d be able to answer my questions. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

Hello! I am having a great day, even though late fall cold weather is setting it. I am two coffees in this early morning and I am going to do my best to answer this. Please note, I am not a historian, I don't read much lesbian theory or political writings. I can and only ever come at questions from my personal expiences and from information I have learned in the long held lesbian traditional of intergenerational friendships. Basically, stories around kitchen tables and campfires give me what I draw on to respond.

I am really only seeing the term Sapphic or queer sapphic being used in the last few years so I want to make sure I am understanding you a bit better. Sapphic was only really ever used to mean lesbian in my circles, since it refers to the first "really out and known" lesbian, Sappho the poet. But I see lately it is being used to describe any women, bi or lesbian, who is attracted to other women. And queer is a very broad term to me. My best guess is as you said you are bi and with a lesbian and sapphic queer is an more expansive definition of how you see your self in relation to your relationship with another women (your current partner). Forgive me if I misinterpret that. Androgynous seems a description of how you are perceived by others. And what aesthetic you feel comfortable presenting yourself as to the greater world. I just want to make sure I am on the same page of understanding.

Butch has always been a lesbian term in my life time.And my friends in their 80′s and 90′s are even more FIRM in the standing that butch is always, strictly lesbian. Many in fact hold very dearly to butch/femme and the connection between the two, how they are deeply interwoven. Butch is Never used to describe the experiences or energy of bi women or anyone other than a lesbian woman. Historically, to my knowledge, it was used to boil down the experiences and perceptions and realities of masculine lebian women to one easy word that everyone understood. A simplfied descriptor to allow women who shared similar experiences to find each other and form community and be recognized as a defined group within the lesbian and great gay community. And even in the larger world.

I have seen it used as an fashion or aesthetic look as in “that is a butch hair cut” or “that suit is very butch” or “arm wrestling, how very butch”. Mostly that is the use of an understood word to convey a stereo type or humorous take on an activity or clothing an no offense should be taken. I guess because I am firm in knowing I am butch because I have shared my experiences and found others like me who relate, a little play on the word is no big deal. No one is looking at Julie Andrews in Victor Victoria in her fitted suit and thinking she is butch. But they might say “That suit is butch”.

If yiou are bi, butch is not for you. Perhaps masc or masculine Or don’t worry about a descriptor. If the masculinity comes off with clothes or a different hair cut it is just not the same experience as a butch. If you are naturally masculine, but not a lesbian, and believe me, here in the midwest there are plenty of straight and bi women are far and away more mascline than I am, BUT their energy is just not the same. They are rarely mistaken for men, or “not quite women” as is my experience and that of many butches.

I would agree with you that butch is a short cut to describe presentation as it relates to our own comfort AND public perception, sometimes relationship dynamics and sexuality. The gender part was definitely something society thrust on me first. “you act like a boy” or “why do you look like a man”. Now my own LGBT community occiasionally tries to thrust gender roles on me and other butches “Butches have muscles” or “butches are supposed to be tops” (NO, LOL) or “butches love sports” (again, NO).

Please be you and love your woman and be protective and gentle and strong. Wear what you love to wear. Love the hobbies you love and find things that fulfill you. Butch is not for you as a bi person. It is wonderful to have a wide range of friends and find the cross over of experiences. Please seek out bi women and peope to talk to and share your ideas and stories with them. I know bisexuals can be the hidden among us but they are out there. Perhaps a few will see this thread and reach out.

idk what kinds horror in a/b/o you mean, but i immediately thought about the subtle horror in this reylo fic called "Until You" by ever-so-reylo on ao3 (sorry if you dont like reylo. i dont. but i recognize reylo authors can be BEASTS and i just use cognitive dissonance if i need it) where it's like.. horror in the sense of how society limits and treats omegas and it's all very normalized. like the fic describes a marriage pathway, alarms on doors, omegas cant be present to hear the results of their own doctor appointment, how not getting pregnant is reason for annulment, and so on, and it's just so wildly subtle in how horrific itd be to live like this and i think the scariest part is, in parts of this world rn, there are places where women are treated very similarly to this. it's a one-shot and not super long, and Kylo/Ben/whoever isnt a dickbag or anything, he treats Rey well, and the author is good about making a distinction between "this is how it is here" and "that doesnt mean its good or ideal or warranted" which i think just adds to the horror kinda sorta, i dunno, i could see you having fun writing about a similar kinda world

regardless, id love to hear more about how youd wanna add further horror to a/b/o, bc what i was talking about was Handmaid's Tale-adjacent (not that i like Handmaid's Tale bc the author's a fucking terf and also, m'am, that IS how the world is like for many woc in various parts of the world, it isnt "even more horrifying" having it happen to white women too jfc idk if it counts as "apocalyptic" if its happening here and now and no one seems to care tho; but you get what i mean when i name-drop it however. anyway. i digress) and im curious if you mean in a monster-fucker way or sex pollen way or what, i find the concept of a/b/o + horror fascinating so, again, id LOVE to hear more pls ♡

also i think this is very fascinating that i mentioned horror and your mind jumped to what is essentially feminist horror! not a bad thing—just something observed!!

i personally read a lot of horror outside of fanfiction and i read a lot of feminist horror specifically. or i see or have been apart of plays/theater works/etc. that feature feminist/gender horror in various ways. i write short stories that are not fanfic about this topic as well, so with fanfic, i tend to avoid this a great deal! it’s an incredibly heavy topic and for a whole year last year, i had surrounded myself in it (and acted in shows where stage violence was enacted on me by men, acted in roles where i was often in distress because of male characters, acted in emotionally straining and difficult scenes) and realized i was actually…very drained. and learned what i liked to see in these stories and what i thought was needless violence against women reiterated again and again as torture porn of some kind. but long story short, fanfic was a reprieve of that for me!!

(i know you’re thinking—but cielo! you seem to love yandere content! and you are right! but i think all my yan content i enjoy is seeped in a warped love rather than a gendered violence. not that both can’t exist. it’s sticky.)

more than that, i am also interested in a/b/o that breaks gender constructs and dynamics in ways and is not just an afab omega enduring societal and personal violence!

the horror i was mentioning more i think had to do with body horror, possession (as in, almost…demonic. spiritual.), etc.! romance as a horror. (“but the horror? the horror was for love”)

blood lust being tied to heats/ruts. an omega, feverish and in heat, slick with blood and wild eyed. some romantic cannibalism with the way a bite is for claiming. it’s vampiric. it’s a devouring.

it’s a conjoining. a possession. two souls being forcibly twisted together. the horror of having only one true mate that you cannot choose. that is, for better or for worse, only yours. the horror of not just being yourself anymore, but someone else and vice versa. your uncontrollable “other half”.

sublime heats/ruts where you cannot tell what is real or not, shaky snapshots of mind melting ache and pain, only relieved by one person. hallucinations or ailments that come from deeply lonely and isolated omegas and alphas. nightmares when it reaches a fever pitch.

omegas with needle sharp teeth and so much hunger that need to feed and take relentlessly from alphas. omegas and alphas with eyes that glow in the dark and watch too keenly.

rituals where heats/ruts are watched, the horror of bareness and vulnerability. the horror of being an animal in a human skin. of your own desire or pleasure.

also just the horror of being dependent on someone. of needing someone so greatly you’ll be sick with it. the horror of being powerless to their love. the horror of their power over you. or yours over them.

the twisted care. i am interested in strange/more uncommon dynamics; alphas who are nurturing and motherly in awful ways. who hand feed and coddle and smother. omegas who are possessive and violent towards other alphas or omegas.

i just think there is A LOT that could be played with. thought of. messed around with.

i also think we don’t see enough historical au with a/b/o….i’m thinking also gothic-style. western man vs. nature. cowboy a/b/o…victorian…ancient civilization….etc.

anyways, i hope you don’t take this as me like scolding you or hating on what you’ve said in any way—defs not that!! i just had a different sort of horror in mind!! like i said, fanfic for me is all about romance at its core! it’s a reprieve and escape from the work and art that often is very serious and heavy (whether feminist/gender horror, capitalist horror, etc. etc.) that i usually spend my time creating or apart of in my day to day life! it’s deeply important work to me, just not something i wanna do here really!!

funniest and saddest thing in akis arc is right after aki meets kishibe after returning from hokaido and kishibe is like man living with them has to be a handful WHICH IS COMPLETELY TRUE we just followed a whole chapter of denji and power being utterly insufferable. like the absolute worst most exhausting duo of feral kids who aki cannot leave unsupervised for 5 seconds before they start eating week-old funerary offerings because as chaotic as they are individually as a duo they literally become 5 year olds who chop off limbs for fun. and akis like reluctantly WELL yeah theyre awful but like, theyve done so much progress, power no longer flings veggies across the room and very occasionally once in a blue moon denji actually pays attention to what i say. its so fucking funny kishibe is like "man youre a saint theyre exhausting. i mean i like them but boy are they tiring." and instead of bitching about it and agreeing aki fucking DEFENDS them. like "they dont shit over the furniture anymore, thats big progress, im proud of them." the bar is so low but listen theyre doing their best.

and then its followed by the immediate gobsmacking bitchslap of aki asking kishibe if he can abandon his life-long dream by withdrawing the trio from the gun devil expedition. his sole goal in life for years, it is so close, and he knows he has so little time left at all, and he gives it all up there and then. right after his trip with power and denji, the one they bullied him to join in. right after having to scold them and rein them in for two days straight like toddlers. less than a month after being confronted with the possibility of a world where neither of them are alive, and realizing that he cannot bear that possibility. it doesnt matter that he would be able to die finally fulfilling his dream of destroying the gun devil, of avenging all his losses, of going in peace. the idea of denji and power dying there, or being left with nothing when hes gone... its enough for him to give it all up. he's willing to spend whatever time is left seeing them fuck up his apartment and squabbling and just.... living, free of fear or danger. his sole goal now is to die with the certainty that they will both have a long and happy existence, that he'll have protected them and fulfilled his role as an older brother. he is fine with dying still! he has accepted it as long as theyre ok. he saw these two gremlins who were supposed to be everything he hated, he grudgingly himself take care of them bc he was asked to, grew used to them being in his life. and then he grew to love them, to love how much denji enjoyed his cooking, to love how power played with her cat, to enjoy their squabbling and appreciate the efforts they did make. these two feral strays with no manners grew to trust and rely on him, they started sharing the chores (with much complaining) and allowed themselves to be vulnerable with him, they clung to him when he wanted to leave for hokkaido. and aki fucking gives up on revenge! he gives up on fighting! he will not live for much longer, but he wont spend his remaining time on taking down the creature that has haunted his life. because he isnt alone now, he has a family hes grown to love and who loves him. he will spend these last few weeks teaching denji to cook himself, making sure power learns healthy eating habits. he will sit at the table and share meals with them and savour every last moment. its the only thing he wishes for anymore, he has nothing else, and yet he has more than he ever thought possible.

he finally allowed himself to love, to give up on revenge, to be at peace. its fuckjng gutwrenching that makima took that away from him, that he died not only as what he hated, but burdened with the knowledge that it was too late and that his family would suffer. he was willing to give everything over and over again, spent his last minutes begging for a way for power and denji to be happy. for power to live, for denji to not be burdened with grief and guilt. he never blamed denji when the future devil told him about how aki would die, he inherently knew that it would not be of the boys own volition and that it would wreck him. mere minutes left, spent begging for power and denjis lives. he didnt even get to realize or fight back, he didnt get to say goodbye. he died a mockery of himself, turned into an instrument of pain against his family. he died as a shambling corpse whose instincts guided him home, only to unknowingly destroy that home. he died because from the very start, makima *intended* him to love power and denji and take care of them, she was building this edifice so that the collapse would be that much more devastating. he died because makima understood the power and pain of real relationships and love, and it was all in the goal of punishing denji for being chosen by pochita. it was all because she never had it herself, and wanted it so badly, and aki and power were merely dolls for her to get what she thought she deserved. its so fucking cruel and evil and it is so fucking tragic for everyone involved including her.

but man akis arc is not "a lesson in the futility of revenge" or a punishment for his early singlemindedness. he did realize these things. he had them in his hands. he was going to succeed, he was protecting his family until the end. it's just that makimas control was so absolute, her chains so strong, he never had a chance anyway. none of them ever did!

I just started playing ecco the dolphin and rain world again and im realizing that these games are actually pretty similar -- tonally, in terms of gameplay, and story. ive not beat either of them but spoilers for both going forwards.

both games start with you being separated from your family, and have you traversing these large, hostile worlds where you find yourself playing the role of predator and prey. You are searching for your pod/pack, and in doing so you learn about and encounter aliens and also some kind of divine primordial beings. Also you explore a abandoned civilization for a small part of Ecco, while that's the entire setting of Rain World.

Also, both games really reinforce the idea of nature existing outside of the player and not necessarily having to make sense. In rain world, there's all these plants and creatures that don't really have any clear function, until careful observation or experimentation gives you a sense of how things interact with one another. In Ecco, there's a lot of really odd puzzles and mechanics that evoke a similar feeling in a slightly more awkward way. Through time, you feel you become an inhabitant of these strange worlds.

I just really appreciate how both games make you feel like you are a part of nature, and also have such stunning immersive atmospheres. They're brutal, uncaring worlds, but also deeply beautiful and how they present themselves. I love you cat slug and ecco. <3

Finished Endwalking 🌟Overall, it was a fitting and epic conclusion to a 10-year arc. The expansion cements FFXIV as one of the greatest, maybe the best, Final Fantasy game personally. I do have some thoughts 🧵

First, I think there were pacing issues. For the most part, Endwalker has a very strong and epic story. But the Lopporits arc could have been better paced, especially towards the end in the Labyrinth. Had post ARR flashbacks performing chores for the Ark and back and forths... Also, I have to admit.. I felt while Zodiark was an epic fight that felt like a final boss. The buildup towards it felt rushed. Maybe integrating meeting the Loloporrits first before Zodiark wouldve been better like we first get to the Lolopporrits before Hythlodaeus then Zodiark. Fandaniel couldve made a ruckus involving the Lolopporits too and we couldve tried saving them and beating Zodiark at the same time. I know this is probably my nitpicky need to want some drama but the downtime in the ark felt dragging to me that I just wanted to get to the next. I did not feel this way in Shadowbringers.. i think SHB was very well paced and every step of the journey was exciting. EW had ordinary moments. So yes this is nitpicky and feel free to disagree. Mostly though, the high highs offset the weak moments.

I would say that Elpis is the second best part in the expansion. I loved the questline and learning more about the ascians, creation magicks. What Emet was like before being tempered.. and Venat. I could not stop playing cause I just wanted to know more. The first being Ultima Thule.. I think Ultima was very strong and I enjoyed the buildup towards the final day. I also enjoyed learning bout other civilizations. I love the quest title glitches and the music starting distorted then becoming a song. Very self-aware. I also really loved the Thavnair Final Days arc.. god how could I have forgotten to mention that here! Garlemald Final Days was very good too. Very dark yet hopeful moments.

The music is amazing. I love Endwalker theme. If there's anything nitpicky, I wish they had more original songs instead of doing a rework or reprise of songs we have heard before. But maybe this was done for nostalgic purposes, so I will let it slide. The maps are amazing. Although, I think Garlemald felt too much like Coerthas, so it'd be my least fave. Thavnair, Elpis, Ultima, and Sharlayan are *chef's kiss* though. Love the music in these cities too. I also love how the map changes like during Final Days (reminds of ShB)

The dungeons were super fun. Tower of Zot being least fave but the fights were interesting enough. Babil, Vanaspati, AitiaScope are great too. My fave dungeons are Ktisis and Dead Ends. In Dead Ends, we see all the worlds Meteion witnessed and it felt so cinematic. The trials were very fun too! All were super fun fights and amazing boss designs. Zodiark, Hydaelyn, and Endsinger had interesting mechanics and were very vibrant encounters. Epic experiences and the buildups were exciting too.

For characters.. I am so thankful the Scions are heavily involved. It continues the strength from ShB. Before ShB, the WoL did everything. Im glad in EW, it feels like a legit FF game, and i deliberately played with Trust parties in key dungeons + trials to immerse myself more. I love that many early NPCs got mentioned and played significance in this story. Everyone played a role and had involvement. It makes me really appreciate the 10 year long journey.. We made so many friends and connections and they all became our allies (even the primals)

The NPCs in this expansion are memorable and strong too. Julles, Erenville, Nidhana, Vrtra, and more.. even Fourchenault's development was great to witness. like this game really knows how to make interesting and significant NPCs. No one feels insignificant.

I love Hermes is complex. I love Meteion is an example of machine learning gone wrong.. a simple command caused the final days and I think that reflects the dangers of technology and how mankind might be responsible for our Earth's demise. Anything can happen. But despite this, we continue living. There's suffering in the world, but there's hope. I think Meteion and Hermes reacting the way they did are valid and reflective of how people can react to despair. Such great characters. Venat, Hythlodaeus and Emet are amazing too

I love how Hythlodaeus and Emet reappeared for an encore.. the last push to help the WoL get to Meteion. It was poetic. although it might seem too convenient for some, I feel the purpose was clear enough and fits the narrative. I can never get enough of the bfs and Emet's snaps. Zenos is surprisingly a villain I ended up liking. Hated his guts in SB, but I like how he is that character who is so bored that the only excitement he found came from his battle with WoL. Ever since, he did ways to provoke & even help us in his selfish conquest to FEEL again

We also got to fully explore the Scions and what makes them stand out. This was magnified when they confronted the despair in front of them. I thought ShB did an amazing part showcasing them but EW surpassed my expectations. I love seeing their growths and developments.

For themes.. I love dynamis. I think it mirrors the forces in life we cannot control, so it gave a richer lore in FFXIV. Some may feel it kinda appeared out of nowhere, but I think it was nice that it was something besides aether and concerned emotions, which was the key to this. Elpis, the flower being the key to everything was an amazing narrative. At first, we just were confused how come a flower that changes colour will be what answers everything.. btu that buildup was oh so satisfying. It's reflective of how Mother Hydaelyn has always watched over us

Some may think Hope vs Despair is such a cliche and overdone trope.. but I personally think the execution here was well done. I feel it was fitting that EW would tackle this theme eventually. Coupled with the fact, this is the fruit that we sow after our journey since ARR. Life's purpose was fully explored in Endwalker. Why do we live? What makes us not want to live? What gives us purpose to keep living? So many scenarios explored and we experienced the despair.. but we also witnessed the hope and how it can prevail and give us the will to continue.

This expansion was so inspiring. There were times I felt inadequate and discouraged.. but Endwalker reminds me to keep on the fight. I know there are many opportunities out there. I can explore further. I'm thankful for this game reminding me of this. I enjoyed Endwalker fully. and I'm glad that FFXIV does not conclude here. I'm ready to do the post EW quests and see where the story will take us next. FFXIV is truly the game that always has surpassed my expectations. I can not highly recommend this game enough. It's really the best game series ever ♥️😸

Her first EP entitled “Flavors” sounds like a playlist of emotions – love, lost loves, and discovering self. This is especially so since, as she puts it, “Lexi’s from New Jersey, and her sound is this great melange of sounds; everything from cool to smooth, groovy beats to straight up chill R & B vibes.” In fact, Lexy began singing songs, and creating demos from home during her college days. In 2019 she released her first single, “drip” and it is safe to say that there has been no turning back ever since. For instance, her hits on ‘How Could I’ and ‘Flavours’ epitomize her growth and maturity as an artist. It’s hard to say anything about ‘flavors,’ but it is somehow like a love warning. Sweet indeed but with a warning telling you to take care! For that, Lexi’s music is very colorful and depicts different but beautiful representations of true love. She thinks visually and when she does music, it is just painting a vivid fairy tale in her head. This has all been a learning experience for Lexi. She adores artists such as Rihanna, appreciates fashion and photography, and values her family. In a recent interview with Lexi Lemonade, she shared what inspires her daily life, including the musical vibe of her family. By practicing a lot, she learned how to sing and write music and she still learns something new every single day. Gratitude remains at the core of Lexi’s message to her fans. I had a slight obsession with the drink Simply Lemonade to the point people started referring me to Lexi Lemonade. It stuck and i decided to use it for my artist name Where do you find inspiration? I find inspiration in every day life and the beauty in it. I know it sounds cliche but sometimes i’ll just be doing something and the music comes to me 🤣. I tend to reflect about experiences that ive had in my life or something im into in the moment and that could be sort of inspiration for my music What was the role of music in the early years of your life? It was my escape from reality lol especially if i was bored. Music always took me to another place in my mind almost like an alternate universe. Also in my school years I played in the marching band, the Alto Saxophone and was apart of my school(s) choir for about 7 years. Music was always in my life from a very young age. Are you from a musical or artistic family? My Dad I would say is the start of it all! Hes so naturally gifted. Hes always singing and self taught musician. He taught himself how to play drums, guitar, and piano. From the day I could Talk he would teach me how to sing and we would do karaoke together. As I got older my brothers got into music. What was the first concert that you ever went to and who did you see perform? My first concert ever was an Alicia Keys concert . I loved it, i had to be in like elementary school or something still lol but i remember my mom buying me my first trench with some boots. I really felt like a star that night 🤣 How could you describe your music? I feel like it sounds ethereal and airy but also a little off center. Its unique and I feel like its what makes me, me! Nothing about it ever feels inauthentic and I admire how shes able to incorporate the fashion, and her business endeavors in her career. Did your style evolve since the beginning of your career? I am still quite early in my career but I am absolutely sure it will evolve. I do embrace change, I tend to get bored quite easily so I enjoy switching things up Who do you see as your main competitor? To be quite honest, it is myself. I just want to continue to get better and hope that my art grows and gets better with time. What are your interests outside of music? Fashion Photography, fashion, and spending time with my kids and family being able to enjoy life to the fullest If it wasn't a music career, what would you be doing? What I’m doing now 🤣 I do have a day job and also a business @SABAAElite that i run with my spouse. i haven’t gotten to the point where im able to fund my life solely off music but i welcome the day it comes What is the biggest problem you have encountered in the journey of music? I guess for right now its just finding my tribe. But im sure that will come with time. If you could change one thing in the music industry, what would it be? I think on a mainstream level just more innovation. I feel like things kind of felt like a standstill for a while everyone following trends what is hot and somewhere along the way some people just lost the art of art 🤣 if you think of all the icons who came before us what made them so iconic was the ability for them to stand out and really just create a lane of their own. Why did you choose this as the title of this project? Flavors. Its a play on my name Lexi Lemonade! Its an analogy for the different sides of me. I am not a one dimensional person. I am a human with different sides to me and different interests. I think its just about embracing all parts of yourself and knowing its ok to not be the same all the time.
