Hi!
First of all, this might sound strange (and out of nowhere, but I think you need to let people know if you are grateful for them (i hope you don't mind), so I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate that you always let me know if/ when/ why you didn't answer or if your answer is short (not that it happens that often), because I know it's not something that you're obligated to do, and you have no idea how much it helps when I'm anxious❤️
Second:
I may have come up with an au of our crossover, and I wanted to see what you think...(i hope you don't mind×2)
Okay, it starts out really sad, but it gets cuter. I promise!
Taiden adopt ghost Ákos au! (It needs a better name)
You: ....What?
Long story short: in a version of my story Adél and Bendegúz don't go to rescue Ákos (this is the beginning of the villain Ákos au, but for our purposes it's not).
The Black swamp usually doesn't kill people. It prefers eternal torture. However, in this au, the doves feel really bad for Ákos, and though they can't do much, they can allow his soul to rest. In my world, there is no afterlife, but knowing how unfair the situation was, how cruel, the doves send him to a place that they know Ákos would love.
A land full of magic, knights and fae.
They send his ghost to the fae realm!
At first Ákos is just excitedly looking around enchanted by how magical this place is, but he pretty quickly stumbles upon a knight (guard) in shining armor practicing with his sword. Talon.
Talon can't see Ákos. Maybe he senses that something's off, but he can't put his finger of it.
Despite the fact that the man can't see him Ákos is in awe of him. He's just like a knight in a story. He's tall, wields a 7 has cool, gold eyes.
Someone like that would surely slay any monster that'd dare hurt someone. He makes Ákos feel safe. He feels like nothing can hurt him when the knight is there, so he sticks by Talon.
This feeling of safety gets reinforced again and again the more he learns about Talon. Especially when he figures out how much he also loves the stars.
No one can see Ákos. They do feel something's there that they can't see, but it's a very faint feeling, so they might just brush it off. Then Aiden arrives back from spending a long week in the human realm (or something), and he's like: who's the kid?
He can see and hear Ákos.
I imagine Ákos is just a bit different in this au because death. He's not all that eger to share why he's here beyond "Talon is cool!" (But, considering Odette's betrayal, his trauma from the swamp, and the fact that in this case no one came for him, I'd say that's fair). At first, he also just thinks that this is a world tailor made for him by the doves, so he doesn't feel like he needs to explain himself. But he's still the same, sweet Ákos.
He'd be really glad that someone's finally able to hear him, if only so he can ask Talon the 101 questions he wanted to ask all this time but couldn't.
When he hears about the things that Aiden has done he'd do the same to him.
Now, you tell me how Aiden and co would react to a ghost kid only Aiden can see, and how Talon would react to finding out that that ghost kid has been stalking him for the past week, because you probably know that better than I do.
And taiden are probably like: this is our child now! Our wierd ghost child! But we love him!
(I also low-key got really obsessed with this idea and got some headcanons, but I wanted to see what you think first (please add things to this if you want❤️)
It doesn’t sound strange at all, I’m glad I can ease your anxiousness a bit like that ^^ I always feel a bit bad when it happens so I try to at least warn you if I can’t answer on time / in the way I usually do.
I don’t mind at all, crossover AUs are fun!
Though of course it’s really sad how ghost Ákos came to be, I think the idea of his ghost being in the faerie realm (and the doves showing mercy on him) is pretty sweet!
I love how ghost Ákos holds on to Talon of all people, his reasoning is so cute and fitting for his character. Him feeling safe with Talon 🥺 (I see why)
I also love that no one but Aiden can see Ákos, it is so funny.
Aiden just randomly being like “who’s that kid?” I’m dying of laughter xD I would love to see people’s faces, especially Talon’s.
Of course with the trauma of Ákos’ death (and everything that led to it) he is changed a bit, but I have no doubt that he’s as sweet as ever.
So I bet it would be quite the pleasant “haunting” for Talon xD (up until he’s attacked with thousands of questions)
I bet Aiden would tease Talon by calling Ákos his ghost son xD
You know, given the world they live in and things they’ve witnessed, a ghost kid that attached himself to Talon and can only be seen by Aiden doesn’t even surprises them that much, haha.
They’d be a bit concerned maybe as to why he isn’t in the realm ghosts usually can be found.
I think Halea would find it quite amusing, Callan and Henry would both worry because why is this literal child a ghost in the first place???
Maya would worry cause that’s what she does but she’d probably find it quite endearing that her friend has a ghostly little fan now.
I think Talon would be something between freaked out and flattered and Aiden would just find it really cool (and cute).
Feel free to share your headcanons for this AU with me! It’s a really interesting idea!

I Ramble About Revali and Groose
i don't actually expect people to care about minor characters or side characters in any other media franchise i'm in, but with loz i tend to get annoyed with people if they clearly only care about zelda and link, and it has to do with how the games frame side characters post-fujibayashi
so revali and groose are part of a common ongoing narrative trope in zelda games of someone who's on the good guy team but is somewhat antagonistic or "mean" to link for whatever reason. you get this with mido and (somewhat) with tetra and her crew and midna. the difference between these characters and groose/revali is in why they don't like link. mido is pretty much a bully who has never liked link because he's just different from the other kids—he is an eternal child, so this makes sense —tetra is skeptical that link can actually do anything in the forsaken fortress initially, and midna wants to use link (and to extent, the legend/narrative itself) for her own ends.
groose and revali don't like link because he's the main character, and they're right. groose clearly despises link because while he's exceptionally lazy and disinterested, everyone likes link, and the youth succeeds even when he doesn't try. later on, this turns into frustration that link is part of some grand scheme and he's...just not. he is a secondary character in-universe, and according to impa the best thing he can do is help on the sidelines. he is a big help, and a very lovable character in his own right, but he's fundamentally trapped in his own narrative.
revali is VERY similar to him in this regard, except he's aware that he's a supporting character (a champion) from the start, and hates link specifically for it. unlike groose, he never really does anything about it besides be somewhat snide, and eventually admits that link might be an okay hero when the rito champion is dead and can't do anything besides fire a big laser anyway. link has been groomed since he was a child to become a knight: his father's a knight, he pulled the master sword when he was twelve, iirc he might have joined the royal guard at an extremely young age, and everyone seems to have a great deal of respect towards him. revali is an extremely skilled archer and pushes himself to the limit, but he wasn't born into it or led down that path like link, so he has to play second fiddle.
now, I don't think characters being side characters is bad. I don't think revali or groose even being side characters is bad. but I certainly don't like how it frames their desire to be more than that as...well, bad. it really reinforces my reading of post-skyward sword games as correct; characters are expected to know their place in the narrative and not strive for more or try to break out of their little boxes, and if they do, they're villainized or it's treated like a character flaw. I don't think they were necessarily right to resent link for something that's ultimately out of his control, but what else are they gonna do?
but, according to the narrative, the only thing they can do is help those chosen by the gods, those chosen to lead, as they were chosen to bend to their will. they are cosmically unimportant, and they will never be worth paying attention to. the reason i tend to prefer people who actually look at characters that aren't link and zelda and try to examine them is because they're kind of going against the narrative itself, which really wants to push the idea that only zelda and link are important, ganon is just there to be an adversary and doesn't have any real grievances, and the only thing that matters is keeping hyrule and hylian supremacy intact.

Hey! I just got a horrible wonderful AU idea and I need to share cause I think you might enjoy it.
A Silver Owl Silver is given a backhanded blessing by Melenor for eternal youth, and he will not age until he finds his one true love. He ends up in the castle still till modern day mourning how he couldn't protect the kingdom ( how could that not be his true love, did he not truely love his home? his parents? How can he think of he loyal people and not truly care for them?) and feeling like he's failed as a knight, until this curious lil babybat fae wanders in to explore the ruins. ( big bug eyes too long teeth and pointy ears he needs to grow into)
Silver ends up taking in Lilia and moving into this quiet little cottage. As the years pass Silver starts looking towards the future again and looking forward to seeing Lilia grow, for once truly feeling like he has been blessed, but realizes something horrible and wonderful as he looks in the mirror one morning.
He has laugh lines around his eyes.
the way that this ask has haunted me ever since i read it.
i've talked about a few role reversal aus with a friend but this!! the thought of silver being cursed with eternal youth until he finds his true love, and then the doubled agony of realizing that he will age and die well before lilia, leaving his beloved child all alone in this world!!!
ohhh but the scene of him finding babybat lilia,,,, he's a homely little thing, all eyes and fangs and ears and wings, but silver feels drawn to him instantly— even more so once he realizes the child has no family waiting on his return. silver definitely carries a lot of scars from those early days of raising lilia, patiently bearing the love nips from his fangs and the teething of a baby bat, along with the thin lines from his claws when he digs them into silver's pant legs and sleeves to clamber up his body and perch on his shoulder, equally attached to the strange human who has granted him a home.
it gives silver a purpose, looking after lilia, something to throw himself wholly in once more. he adores and is awed by everything that the boy is capable of— from his magic, his flying abilities, to his prowess at the sword, and lilia THRIVES under the praise. (thinking about comparisons to how canon silver was raised to this au; silver is infinitely more patient and practical when teaching lilia how to focus his magic).
also just some silly parallel moments to canon— silver gets caught in a snowstorm on his way back from making a long and arduous trek to a nearby human village to get lilia a boardgame he had been curious about for his birthday. lilia frantically swoops through the valley and forests to find him, scolding his father harshly when he sees the young man nearly succumbing to the frigid elements (he's much more brash and vocal with his exasperation to silver, almost like sebek in a way? but oh, how he loves his father and will turn his fangs and claws on anyone who dares to threaten silver!! idk I JUST REALLY LIKE TSUNDERE FAE LILIA PRIOR TO HIS DOMESTICATION). (also the thought that this is the beginning of silver's human weaknesses beginning to creep back in as he nearly catches hypothermia).
but the laughter lines. he can't hide these, how cruel to magic them away behind a glamour, and lilia either REFUSES to accept the truth or tries to reject the depth of their attachment??? i keep thinking of some awful moment where lilia is distraught and shouts that it must be true, humans are liars all along when he thought that he'd be together with his father forever, and running away instead of having to deal with the horrible nature of silver's curse (cue a panicked and frantic silver who chases after him— would be a real shame if something happened that would highlight the true depths of his mortality now!!)
anyways, i adore this concept, i need to devote more thought to it when i'm feeling better aaaaaa

"And tell me... How would it be possible? Tell me... Tell me if it's possible when what I've been doing for the last ten years was just trying to break that spell. Tell me, Tell me, TELL ME." His fingertips had turned white from how much pressure he was putting on your hand.
He most probably broke it already, but at this point, even a single grimace, a scream of pain, an involuntary reflex- anything would be fine.
By now you seemed more dead than alive, your skin had begun to cool down your arms, gathering the necessary heat in your chest and stomach. You hadn't eaten for years, decades, but you didn't age. Your fingers were completely frozen, if somehow you would come back, surely there would be a lot of problems in rehabilitating them; your lips once so sweet and rosy, so kissable and lovable, were now colored a pale blue, not so obvious but still quite visible.
Malleus could no longer look at that pitiful sight.
A woman as charming, beautiful, fantastic and tameable as you, reduced to a thread of death by none other than your self-proclaimed husband, the one who, by ruining your life, has filled his.
In an eternal limbo with no way out, if not by an impossible means. He should have been the one you should have loved, otherwise this would never have happened; if you hadn't turned against him nothing would have ever happened, if only you weren't so stubborn, ungrateful, ignorant and stupid, nothing would have ever happened. In fact, you would both be sitting in the gloomy castle garden as you snuggle up to watch your adorable son play with Lilia and annoy Sebek as he gently rubbed your swollen stomach of his love for him.
"Malleus, I know what you are going through, I know what an immense pain it feels to realize that all the efforts made are only in vain, I have been through it. But the only thing I can advise at the moment is not to obsess over the matter even more; you are spending more time with her than you should with your child! He is growing up with no one, and you more than anyone else should know what it feels like. You are bringing an entire kingdom to destruction as yourself, now you spend more time in this room, without letting anyone in. As much as I hate to say it, you absolutely have to take your life back in your hand and that of your people as well as that of your children, they are still small, but they are beginning to no longer believe the lies we are telling them. I am not speaking to you as an army commander, I am not speaking to you as an honored knight, but I am speaking to you as a father, make the right choice, now, your majesty, goodnight. " With this, the elder fae left the room, being followed by the two knights in the corridors of the castle to put to sleep the two kids.
To let go.
He could never let you go, your bond should have been forever, but then, why are you separated by this invisible wall?
"The spell can never be broken except by the kiss of true love."
If it wasn't him, who? Who would ever be that peasant who would have lured you into his trap? There would be thousands of possibilities, one more terrifying than the other for the dragon king.
But from that thought an idea was born, one that, however convoluted it might sound, would be able to solve both problems.
Finding a new calm, the fae cured your shattered hand bones with a twist of his wrist, then brought his face close to your sleeping one, making the two hot breaths collide with each other, and lovingly whispered that they could finally reunite once and for all.
· ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
The next day, the monarch of Briar Valley made sure he knew who it was that had captured his soulmate's heart. As much as his draconic instincts were screaming and wriggling inside of him, he resisted the temptation to slit those filthy people who were now taking turns kissing your hand.
He consoled himself knowing that he would then take care of the punishments himself that, despite having sent the order himself, that useless dust of society would have to pay for even thinking of looking at HIS lovely wife.
Unfortunately this could only have happened with the inhabitants of his kingdom, after all he would not even want to have to deal with useless and boring battles against other countries in the world of him.
He called for the occasion all his former schoolmates, from the now successful businessman Azul Ashengrotto to the now athlete Jack Howl, to figure out who that person was to take revenge.
No one will ever be able to take his wife from him, or they will be eliminated like those useless creatures that they are.
Peasants, nobles, dukes, even duchesses participated in the very unusual event. But none of them had been able to wake you from the cursed sleep.
Finally losing that thin thread of patience that was left to him, he ordered that all the people who had even dared to touch you before, were trapped in the castle, while he headed into your rooms with your body softly asleep and modeled on his strong arms. As hot as the situation was, Malleus could do nothing but soften at the tender sight of you and your children sleeping together.
Even if for just one moment, he thought that this was not the result of a spell, but that it was the result of an eternal love between him and you.
"Don't worry, my love, everything will work out soon, so we can be real family again" He said softly whispering in your ear, aware that you couldn't hear him, and tenderly kissing first your forehead, then the bridge of your nose, and finally your cheeks, before leaving the guard of your room to one of his most trusted knights.
When the young monarch was gone, young Silver entered the room.
He knew you hated him, and he hated himself too: he hated himself for never trying to stop this, he hated himself for not having stopped his master in time, and he hated himself for ignoring everything.
After all, even if ignorance is bliss, it will always lead to an inner emptiness and regret for not having known before.
"Sorry ___, sorry, please forgive me-please, please.." Silver sobbed faintly, slumping along your figure, staining the palm of your hand firmly in his hands with silver tears.
You would never have deserved all of this pain.
You never did anything. He'd rather be burned alive a thousand times over than let you go to your fate.
"Sorry.." He brought his face close to yours: his cheeks were red and wet from crying, while he sobbed slightly at every memory of your requests for help. He didn't want to do it.
He kissed you.
"You are forgiven"
"W-w-what? What ever- How?"
"I forgive you" You said hoarsely, not having used your voice for years. But for Silver, those simple words would have been heaven on earth.
As if by magic, the doors to the room swung open. Malleus entered. He knew something was wrong. He knew that brat was dealing with his wife. All those glances, even if helpful, all those words you thought he could never hear.. A fae couldn't be less if he didn't have senses amplified than a humble human.
"YOU BASTARD!" Malleus lunged at the man, biting his throat. Silver screamed. At that moment he couldn't care less of you, he finally had between his fangs the filthy traitor who had got in the way. You screamed in terror as the delicate skin on Silver's neck began to peel off his neck. If no one were to intervene instantly, he would be dead.
But neither Lilia nor Sebek did anything.
With one last yank, Malleus tore a large piece of flesh from the now dead human. Blood was everywhere and still flowing from the huge gash in his neck.
Nobody cared, as long as it wasn't too long, he could easily bring himself back to life with an ancient ritual, which, fortunately, Malleus didn't know.
"I advise you to go and change, you wished you could be in a more pleasant condition to atone for your betrayal."

What are the odds of Freddy Fazbear actually joining Super Smash Bros.?
Now, many people will say he shouldn't join, me being one of them, whether that's because he's seen as a meme character, lack of moveset potential, or just blind hatred is not the discussion. No, we are asking if it's actually possible for Five Night's at Freddy's to join not only Super Smash Bros. but the other "Challengers of Smash" (posts every Monday) as well.
Tumblr media
Can Freddy join Smash?
Starting with Nickelodeon All Star Brawl, No, just no.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has a variety of reasons that they won't add Freddy. The first is that it's a Nickelodeon game, and given that all of the characters are Nickelodeon characters and Garfield, it's highly likely that Nickelodeon won't add them to keep with their brand aimed toward kids, despite most of FNAF's fan base, behind the scenes controversy and the fact that canonically most of NASB's roster will either No Diff Freddy, see this as another Saturday or will be completely ignored by him/her. Maybe if this was Viacom All Star Brawl or if it took up the name of its predecessor: Super Brawl. Then, the odds would rise to being slim.
Rating: Ha, no/10
Next up is Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. Unlike Nickelodeon, the question isn't because he'd feel out of place due to the entire cast having differing themes and art styles. It's not because Freddy isn't a Playstation icon again due to the roster of the previous game. In this case, Freddy seems just as likely to join as Crash Bandicoot or Gubble. No, the main reason is because PSASBR is dead. The game came out in 2012, a decade, and 2 console generations ago.
Rating: Dead Game/10
Multiversus is up next and...I'd say 50/50. Yeah, unlike NASB and PSASBR, Multiversus is more based upon popularity, moveset potential, and whether WB has its head stuck up it's a__.
Rating: 5/10
The penultimate game is Fraymakers, being an indie based Smash Bros. Crossover makes Freddy a likely contender. The question is, either McCleoud or Scott Cawthon ready and/or willing to let him join?
Rating: More likely than you think/10
Finally, we reach Super Smash Bros. and I'd have to say Spirit or Mii Costume at best. Five Night's at Freddy's is a horror game, a pretty ok horror game, but one none the less. Compared to some of the other "horror" franchises in Smash Bros., we have Luigi's Mansion, which is more of a Scooby-Doo scary rather than actual horror, Castlevania despite being some level of violent is more so Fantasy Horror and Resident Evil, which is a "modern fantasy" version of horror, if that makes sense. And while yes, Eternal Darkness and Fatal Frame exist, they are in because Nintendo was involved in their games. Five Nights at Freddy's, on the other hand, has literal on-screen atari style, child murder as a legit feature, and while there is a chance that some of the other franchises previously listed have some degree of child murder as well, you forget those franchises are multi-generational AAA games. Indie games do have a presence in Smash but to a much lesser degree than the big companies, and Freddy has some tough competition in that department, Shovel Knight, Shantae, Zagreus, Sans, and CommanderVideo already appearing in Smash, and outside you have characters such as Hat Kid and The Knight from Hollow Knight as viable options. So, while Freddy has a chance due to multiple factors, including whether Smash will continue to expand the roster or if it will reboot. Sorry, this is just a party you probably won't be rented out for.
Rating: Sorry, Freddy/10
But what do you think, does Freddy have a chance to join Smash or its challengers? Let me know in the comments. I do have actual roster design ideas, but they felt kinda samey, so I decided to mix in some Roster Chance Ideas into the mix, so i'll take turns with both concepts.

Do you think, that in a world where pk did get rid of the radience in the beginning, he would've had a "normal child with his wife? And would his kingdom have an eventually downfall?
Lmao, no way. Two immortals have no need for an heir, and siring a likewise immortal child would have just been a means of creating his own downfall. We also know from his actions that when choosing between Hallownest and family, the Pale King would always choose Hallownest (and keeping control over it), so the risk just wouldn't be worth it. Even Hornet was sired for the benefit of Hallownest rather than a desire for a child, and the White Lady mentioning her fondness for her does not necessarily mean that she wanted children of her own. Fun as it is to speculate, we know nothing about the Pale King's thoughts on her creation, and him locking the Abyss/killing the weaker and impure vessels seems to imply that they were some sort of liability to him. If I had to guess, him imprinting on the Hollow Knight was something that hit him completely out of left field, and that he had no desire for an actual living child until the results of his experiments involving his genetics was staring him right in the face. And even then, he treats the information as something terrible that must be sealed away with the greatest security and punished for remembering, which gives me very strong vibes of a guy who had very little qualms about starting the vessel project bc the idea of having kids meant nothing to him up until reality came and smacked him right in the face. Like, he probably had some regret for it- WL's whole horny jail thing is also a form of punishment for what she did to her children, and she's just as cold as he was, if not moreso- but I don't think the full extent of the horrors hit him until then. And someone who wanted kids wouldn't have gone through with growing brainless bodies with their genes to begin with.
Or, well, maybe I shouldn't say 'no way'. We know from his dialogue at the Abyss lore marker that he deeply regretted what he did, we know from his workshop notes that he believed void to be a thing utterly and inherently without mind and emotion (thus making the vessel experiments ethical in theory), and that he grew to love the Hollow Knight despite genuinely believing that they were empty. And the White Lady starts off talking to Ghost with a very matter-of-fact tone about how she believes that the Hollow Knight failed because they were 'tarnished by an idea instilled', which means that she herself thought that they, as a void being, were incapable of emotion or thought, and that an outside influence must have tampered with them. It's not until Ghost- a vessel who very clearly does not give a shit about appearing empty- visits her more and does things like creating the Voidheart that she starts to soften up, and to reconsider their nature. So it may be possible that both of the gods had some vague streak of parental instincts and longings within them, but that their logical minds completely overwhelmed those desires. It would make sense, seeing as both of the Pale Gods were written to counter the Radiance, who is mostly ruled by emotion with very little logic. So while they had the ability to love their children, and they canonically have the ability to grieve/feel guilt for what they did, they still wouldn't have actually gone out and had a kid out of their own desires to begin with. That would be too much of a risk to them and Hallownest.
But yeah, Hallownest would have fallen anyways. There probably wouldn't be a dead baby pit driven by the necessity for a void-infused host body that could trap a malevolent dream deity for eternity, but it still would have had some form of a downfall eventually, be it a gory mess like in canon, or a slow fade like Unn's. Nothing ever lasts forever, not even in the realm of gods.

kit/jade thoughts
I was listening to an (excellent!) podcast episode about the show’s first two episodes where Missy and Marie-Claire brought up the idea of Elora/Airk being perhaps a false marriage - not who they are meant for in their more grown and mature states. Or, if they are together, it will work differently, because they will reunite as changed people.*
I think Jade and Kit will end up together, but that the current way Kit handles their love is very immature and similarly false. She’s had Jade there her whole life, it seems, and treats her like she’s, not just a comforting person, but a comfort and a foregone conclusion. Someone who would just follow where Kit led without question.
This was really bugging me! And making me wrankle at Kit a fair bit. She wasn’t treating her girl right. But thinking of it as intentional has opened up a lot of ideas for me about how they will probably, for a time, grow apart, as they become their adult selves. And then Kit, I believe, might have to woo her lady and pursue Jade. Show her that she is cherished and wanted as herself, not just as a familiar inevitability.
This makes sense to me from the way Jade seems to feel uncertain of her worth and wants to feel confidence in her own abilities and role - her desire to join an important order of knights, the fact that she pushed back against Kit in ep 2 by citing her role following the queen’s command. She might doubt she can have the closeness she’s enjoyed with Kit and stand tall on her own; Kit having to woo her in her more mature form, to convince her that they can have both (union and individual pride in themselves) could be really joyful to watch.
Even if they handle things differently, I am increasingly excited to get a real coming of age mythic story about queer heroines that deals with the challenges of growing up and loving.
*There’s a whole fascinating analysis they do about the three ‘children’ of Sorsha--Airk, Kit, and Elora--pushed into eternal childhood by the stasis and controlling protection Sorsha has sought in her fear, loss, and the lingering impact of her losing her spouse that is just great. Though Jade isn’t her child, I think loving Kit has held her back for a while. Hence the discomfort and shock from Kit that Jade was planning to make her own life.**
**I found Kit’s complete repudiation of her duty to ANYONE really wrankled me when contrasted with Jade’s strong sense of duty. But, of course, Sorsha has shown such an incomplete and sorrowful version of duty that it’s a good thing Kit resists that - she needs to find her own values and people she wants to commit to not out of suffocating obligation but free choice

As a mun, what inspires you about Tarhos and Haru? What are some of their dynamics that you love?
Tumblr media
I know I've briefly touched on this, but it's because they're just people. One of the main things that I really liked learning about from my research into the time period Tarhos is from (and while yes I'm not historically accurate or so adjacent with him) is that people were always just... people. From British propaganda during the industrial revolution you'd think the medieval period aka the "dark ages" were bleak, depressing, if you weren't rich you were hating yourself and hating life which like today yes it is true some people were depressed back then.
But... people will make their own happiness and judging how people lived back then from modern standards will always make things bleak. And that's pretty beautiful right? I like that the most about them two in his main verse and Haru's medieval/d.bd- Both of their circumstances are utter shit, you have Tarhos who was enslaved as a child and barely earned his freedom before he got corrupted by a weird spider god and Haruko who was taken from his home across the sea and enslaved as a concubine who meets him by chance and finds a way out there only to be pulled into the fog when his husband is. But they're still finding their own happiness.
They'll joke about their situation, refer to themselves as animals in a pet-name way (dove, old dog, etc.) and just try to keep as much domestic life as they're allowed. Haru spins and does the more "womanly" chores around the camp like the other knights wives and pulls Tarhos and his friends aside at night to be human together. They're always finding their own happiness even in the bleakest of situations and it's really fun to write. And of course in their other aus there's things that I love too like darkin Tarhos's and his dynamic is really interesting.
Haru in that au is a lot more violent that Tarhos is at times and he's a literal being that feeds off of blood and has an eternal hunger for it due to being a God made by a forgotten empire and thus lost his meaning so even if he wanted to die he couldn't. Haru has no idea what the darkin are beyond what Tarhos has told him, but he is still the only god that answered his prayers and he'll worship him like the divine being he once was. Then modern is just really sweet and domestic, they're having their issues right now, but honestly modern Tarhos is just really shit at communicating and they both need therapy real bad. The joust au Egg's been implanting brain worms in my head for turning into something really sweet as well, their one good ending in a medieval setting-
I don't know, there's just so much to enjoy about people being people. But- if anyone who follows me doesn't already know who Haru or Egg are, they're over at @witchcraftandburialdirt. They are genuinely one of the sweetest people I have ever met and I know I'm biased because they are my themfriend™/romantic partner/t4t alliance/whatever, but their writing is incredible and they have d.bd aus for both their muses as well. And I will never not sing their praises, because they are such an inspiration for me art wise in every sense of the word.

Hiya! So about a year ago I posted a sort of rant and rough concept idea I had of doing my own take of Descendants and Ever After High which you can read here
Well after months of thinking, creating, scribbling and sleepless nights I finally have a what I think a good enough concept to post.
To start things off I want to clarify that this is my own personal take on descendants and Ever After High idea of Fairy Tales characters having children and following their lives and adventures, with this being my version of this concept there are many differences from that being
No relation to Disney Characters, my characters are gonna be more related to the original fairy tales than the Disney versions but there might be smol references to Disney
No Legacy thing, yeah the children here are not gonna repeat their parents story
My characters are still kids, so no teenagers in high school but more like kids who are in middle school, there will be characters who are teenagers and older but I want to focus on the hopes, dreams and fears of growing up especially during that awkward age
I think that's all the aspects in case there are more or I forgot I will mention them in future posts
In this post I am gonna present some characters with some visual guides/moodboards I did for each of them respectively
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dawn and Jour - Children of Sleeping Beauty
Fraternal twins who where once inseparable but now are somewhat estranged, both booklovers since childhood.
Dawn is an optimist, kind, fun-loving daydreamer, very feminine who loves tea parties, balls and sewing, a romantic at heart who loves making friends and the happiness of others, and she also has the magical power to see and control others dream's
Jour a realist with dreams and yearning to explore the world, and values courage and chivalry, he wants to be a traveling knight like the one in the stories and books, he likes horse riding and sword fighting, and even though he and his sister are estranged don't even dare to give a bad look to her cause his protective brother instincts take over.
Tumblr media
Rowan - Child of The Dark Fae
The eponymous dark fae who cursed Sleeping Beauty to an eternal slumber, he is the first child to be of "villain" origin to get into the Academy so everybody expects to be this bold, manipulative, cruel, revenge thirsty individual which he is the exact opposite of, he is this timid, anxious and kind, who enjoys practicing and studying magic, being with his pet Raven Orphée and spending time with his mom, but this being his first time away from home and his mom and then being ostracized in school lets just say he is not having a grand time but things do get better.
Tumblr media
Cerelia - Child of The Fairy Godmother
The resident queen bee/mean girl of the academy, and with her being not only the daughter of the famed Fairy Godmother who is also the headmistress of the academy she is certainly considered royalty around the school, she is selfish and has a mean streak but to her closest friends is deeply caring and loyal to them, a young lady who enjoys the pretty things in life and loves playing in her clavichord and may or may not abuse her magical powers for her own personal gain.
Tumblr media
Anara - Child of The Frog Prince
A rambunctious young lady who adores exploring the surrounding forests and swamps of the Academy, collecting and studying the many plants in it, an active, stubborn and unruly, she is loyal to her friends, and even though her mother wants her to be a prim and proper princess to attend balls and tea parties, but she couldn't care less and just wants to go on at adventures.
Tumblr media
Leif - Child of Snow White
A darling gentleman, who is naive, generous and gentle kid who really likes cooking and baking, cleaning and sewing which comes into conflict with his dad who wants him to be a courageous and chivalrous knight but he can't fight with a sword to save his life...literally
And that's all for today one day i will give them better and more formal character sheets but that's all I have at the moment and I hope you enjoyed and I will see you real soon!

@blindedbones inquired: its party time! multimuse question prompt
Tumblr media
⁕| Questions For Multimuses |⁕
Tumblr media
It’s party time! Tell us what each of your muses is doing (name as many as you’d like).
Tumblr media
|| oh i have so many muses...... I'll just list everyone in Genshin, BSD, and KNY!!
Lia would rather DIE than go to a party. You won't see her. If she had to go, she would be there for around five minutes and disappear without a word.
Chuuya would be wherever the alcohol is XDD He'd be living it up lavishly~
Akutagawa, like Lia, would honestly rather die and would end up disappearing not too long after he arrived at the party.
Atsushi really doesn't enjoy parties, but if he's with people he knows (like the ADA), he can enjoy it. He'll likely try to find a quiet place, though.
Rosalie wouldn't mind a party. She'd probably be talking to someone, maybe getting into an argument...
Kovit doesn't like parties. Everyone feels at least the tiniest bit of pain all the time, and he can pick up on that. It would be kind of overwhelming for him to have so many people around with so many different types of pain. But he wouldn't ditch. He'd probably stick with someone he knows and make fun of the drunk people XDD
KNY Kira would NOT want to go to any party... It would be way too much for her, plus too many scents. She's very good at controlling her hunger as a demon, but she really hates the idea of extra temptation. But if she had to go to one...she would try to find a quiet place.
Nezuko isn't really a party person... She'd go if there's a celebration for someone she's close to, but otherwise she would rather stay behind and work on something important to her (like her breathing styles or even her family's bakery in kimetsu academy).
Inosuke HATES parties. There are a fair amount of parties that happen at the Eternal Paradise temple, and he always stays outside in the woods. He wants nothing to do with that stuff.
Kotoha would probably just remain by Douma's side. Either that or look for Inosuke. She isn't really a party person herself, so she'd just migrate around~
Koyuki is a little too sickly to go to any parties XDD It would be safest for her to just stay home~
Tamayo would go to professional parties if necessary, but she would rather just stay behind and work on something in her clinic. She is definitely an introvert.
Daki would be the queen of the party XDD Normal KNY or kimetsu academy, she'd have everyone's attention. And she loves it. Catch her dancing, chatting, and countless other activities~ She'd do everything except be alone.
Gyutaro would just hide in his sister in normal KNY, and in kimetsu academy, he would kind of lurk in the quiet places of the venue. He keeps an eye on Daki, kind of like her bodyguard. I suppose he is.
Genshin Kira would go to a party if she had to for appearances (since her dad is the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius). But she would find a quiet place, usually a balcony, and lose herself to her thoughts~
Lyudmila used to be the center of the party. She would host countless parties in her palace to share her love with the world, and she would dance with all of her people. But now, you will never see her at a party. She'll ignore any and all invitations. She rarely ever leaves her palace.
Focalors/Vaitiare would dance at a party. This doesn't really count for Focalors, but Vaitiare would be the one attending parties. She'll dance and talk to people, and she would end up being the talk of the party.
Childe isn't really a party person. He'd go for appearances like many of my other muses, but he'll leave whenever he's done.
Xiao just won't show up XDD he really hates being around too many people... You won't ever see him at a party.
Jean has attended many parties, but it's all formal parties for diplomatic purposes. She would be talking to people and rarely ever dances.
Bennett would love parties!! He's afraid of going to any because he knows he'll mess something up, but he would love to be surrounded by friends at a party of any sort. He'd mostly just want to talk to people, probably play some party games as well.
Alhaitham would never go to a party either. He would just calmly say "No thanks" and then proceed to spend the night in his house.
Varka, like Jean, also goes to many parties for diplomatic purposes. He talks to people mostly, but he also enjoys the drinks XDD But for the most part, he just chats with people.
Masami has never gone to a party and likely never will. That's okay. It's not a sad thing. Just don't invite them. They'll ruin it somehow...
Anne would enjoy parties if she was able to be herself while there, but she always had to be respectable and noble. She will mostly keep to herself, maybe talk with some people. But if she's feeling particularly daring (or just rebellious) she'd grab her brother (or a pretty lady~) and dance with them.
Adrian sticks to Anne's side at all times. He is an introvert, so he doesn't enjoy parties...but he doesn't want to leave her alone. So, he just goes with her.

Drabble from my Hallow Monarch au.
Summary; Directly after the disappearances of the gods of Hallownest, the leaders of each area within and nearby the Kingdom meet to discuss the Hollow Knight's fate. The Hollow Knight has an idea.
"-e can't tell the public tha-"
leaders were always like this, it had found. speaking their battles instead of fighting them. an aspect it could not participate in itself, even if it had a mind.
(do not think)
"-at do you expect us to do then, Herrah?! Are you stup-"
it feels (do not feel) as though it is going to explode with annoyance. just a day ago, it was mean to be empty, to be thoughtless. it were The Pure Vessel. The Hollow Knight. Hallownest's only hope. (do not hope)
"-op fighting, you four! We are going Nowhere like this! Hera, where i-"
and now it needed to be something else, something new. something worthy of being the new ruler of hallownest. something that was not an it, but a they.
"-he Hollow Knight only takes commands from dire-"
it- they?- stare blankly as the meeting roars around them, the leaders of every territory under Hallownest's rule arguing. It was simple to be lost in the conversation, and track each idea in their head like always.
and yet they were snapped out of their thoughts- those things they should not have- by a voice that did not belong. a small, squeaking voice that would have made them smile, if they could feel.
"Hollow! Psst, Hollow! Let's sneak out before they see us! I wanna play!"
Ah. Hornet. their loved (although they should not feel that) little sister. Hornet took ahold of their hand, and they were dragged from the room. though, dragged makes it seem as if they would have resisted.
they followed her until they reached the former monarch's chambers. Hornet played in the room often, when she was younger. or when she had a nightmare, she would run to the room to find them- they were always stationed outside of the chambers when the King and Queen (their parents?) slept. they could not say they did not feel.. something over their parent's apparent deaths. they felt nothing over their creator's disappearances, though.
there was a difference, they had found, between their creators and their parents. the Pale King was cold, antisocial, and perhaps cruel at times. their Father was overworked and out of time, missing more sleep every day their sealing approaches. the White Lady was a socialite, ruthless, and manipulative. their Mother was attentive to detail, mournful, and could barely look them in the eyes.
and now they were gone.
Hornet giggled, unaware of the kingdom's hellish situation. she played games with them, unaware of the death of two of her three- perhaps four- parents. and that was fine.
they didn't know how to be a bug, nor a leader for that matter. they did know how to contain, however. and so they did. for Hornet's sake.
perhaps that's what the leaders had meant, that they would only act if a goal was given to them. had they given themself a goal?
would it be enough, to protect Hornet?
they watched as Hornet ran about the room, hording each and every lose object in the chamber. they watched as Hornet, too, wove webs between her spare arms. Instincts finally returned to the child, and the conflict between them led to Hornet hording.
the light provided by the monarchs had provided bugs with sentience that did not have any before. it, too, boosted the mind of bugs that were already sentient. without the light, it would revert back.
the Hollow Knight does not have instincts, for they have no DNA. (it was empty- had to be empty-)
and yet they were upset. upset at how everyone was.. acting. they felt. it was strange. they wanted to fix it. they had to fix it. it was supposed to fix the eternal kingdom, and keep it in stasis.
the old lights were gone, all of the old gods were... but...
they glanced upon their hand, watching the void move through their carapace.
..they were the creation of three gods, two pale and one pantheon. could they not ascend? could they not become something, fill themself with thought and feeling--
their first order from the Pale King was to always protect hallownest. and would this not be protecting it? they could ascend, could they not?
become a light, to guide the bugs of the kingdom? they felt that emptiness within their form shift and change, and with it they truly embraced their emotions for once in their life.
they wanted. to protect their sister. to protect any siblings left. to protect their home.
if all gods in the kingdom were gone, did that too include the void entity that had ruled the world in which they were born?
could they replace that power?
they ducked into the next room, locking themself away from Hornet and the others. they did not want to harm them, even if that realization of want was a foreign feeling.
they knew that in order to ascend one must defeat all other gods of that territory and challenge the pantheon's god at the peak of it. their Father had spoken of it with their Mother, about if Hornet could ascend. they had said godly blood made it easier.
..but there were no gods. just them, one born of root and wyrm and void. the void was asleep, as it always was, and all the gods were gone.
and so they were left to fill the role of pantheon god, before someone else does, to do what they were made to do. protect the Kingdom.
they did not have to fight anyone to ascend, nor travel to the godly realm. all they had to do was embrace the sliver of pale light still left within them, the part inherited from their parents that allowed them the chance to live.
the kingdom needed it's protector, Hornet included.
and so they became what was wanted of them.

it makes me so happy to hear that omg 😭 although ive never played r6s/cod specifically, i mostly just consume content for it because i know it's not the kind of game i'd be good at
but vtmb has a very special place in my heart and i feel like i could probably play it for an eternity lol
but basically i was only thinking of what clans would cod/some r6s men belong to if they were a part of the world of darkness
and for könig for example i can very easily imagine him being turned into a vampire somewhere during medieval times, when he was still a knight serving to the royal family maybe, so that would probably make him a perfect candidate to become a ventrue childe
and i also feel like he'd be the most eager one to turn his crush/partner (reader) into a vampire, would probably do it without even warning them at all because in his head it makes sense to "protect" them this way (give them this much power while also making them heavily dependent on him to help them navigate this new kind of life)
VTMB ANON YOU ARE GIVING ME SO MANY IDEAS AJDHAJBDJA
at some point i will make a full fledged fic, parts or chapters (with your permission), about könig and all this cause i like it a lot! i do have some ideas for clans r6s and cod operators would be in but i haven’t really finalized them or gone into too much detail so I WILL DO IT AT SOME POINT I PROMISE! thank you for being the first person i’ve seen want something like this and actually managed to figure out where i got my name from :,)

Heyy, sketchpage update
Starting from the left, we’ve got Jason Blood up top and Dragon!Etrigan at the bottom with Steppenwolf’s family. So Jason Blood is a composite character with Mordred here with some aspects from Gawain (specifically the Dev Patel version from the movie). Here, Mordred and Klarion were actually childhood companions, Klarion having gotten access to time travel at this point. The fall of Camelot plays out how one would expect, only now it’s Klarion who bonds Mordred to Etrigan after he’s abandoned by his mother. Wandering the Earth as a Demon Knight and even briefly reuniting with fellow shining knight Ystina, Mordred develops a deep shame and self-loathing over his actions and a complex, combative dynamic with Klarion, his mother, Merlin, and anyone else who survived the fall. Abandoning his old identity, Mordred became Jason Blood, eventually settling in America and attempting to live a quiet life...until Klarion and Etrigan inevitably appear to throw it into chaos.
Then we’ve got a string of New Gods with some elaborations: Drax and Uxas, who I’ve talked about before, though Darkseid’s going to need a more in-depth post at some point; then Steppenwolf and his ilk, Fury and Dream. Dream got their own post already, where I mentioned Fury, but Lyta’s kind of interesting because she was originally going to be the child of Diana and Johnny Sorrow until I changed Sorrow’s identity to [redacted] which doesn’t rule out him having a child somewhere, but he’s firmly enough Alan Scott’s wheelhouse now if you know what I mean.
Anyway, Lyta/Hippolyta is a complicated figure in the Headverse’s cosmology. She’s technically in Uxas’ high court, but shares her father’s enmity for her cousin, while also being a princess to the Amazons of Themyscira. I almost made her the headverse version of Grail, but I think I’m going to keep them separate and...basically archenemies? For a matriarchal society, having two characters (arguably unfairly) defined by their relationships to male relatives which, hey i guess includes Diana too kind of goes against the ethos of the thing, but I think the bigger them is Old Gods and New Gods interacting. I was trying to think of a good name to justify her being “Lyta Trevor” at some point, and I think I’ll probably just have her adopted by the Trevor family and raised as a human child, but she very much earns the title Fury as a teen and into her eternal adulthood.
Next is Booster, Scythian Torvial, and...Gary Green? Yeah, once I opened the door on Legends of Tomorrow with the Totem Arc, I was trying to decide to do with the non-superhero, non-comics members (Gary, Mona, Charlie, etc) and kinda settled on the idea that they’re Booster’s support team? Scythian is still a future incarnation of Katar Hol, though his upbringing makes him a little reticent to use “Hawkman” as a title for some time. Booster Gold is Booster Gold. I have kind of a fun idea where Mike is still blue collar janitorial staff, but Booster Gold is actually a beloved and well-regarded hero due to his actions in the 20th and 21st centuries, to the point that Mike doesn’t realize he’s the same Booster until after he starts pretending to be himself and Skeets has to finally clear it up
Next some Doom Patrol...villains? Torminox obviously, but the rest are a bit ambiguous. Doodle-Bug is Casey’s sister, Dana Brinke, instead of just an evil clone and (if you can make out the list) a member of the Zoom Patrol. They’re less a reverse Doom Patrol and more of a...sideways one? Evapora is actually a huge Coagula fan and Dr. Norman Caesar acts so much like a ‘60s Major Comics villain that no one takes him seriously. The Hoaxer was only ever in Flex Mentallo and I have other plans for him later. Last are Milkman-Man and Terry None. Eric Brinke is named after his grandpa, but is otherwise genetically Kryptonian with some quirks, while Teresa Morden is still Terry None, but takes over her dad’s identity as Mister Somebody. They’ll all get developed a bit more when I finish yet another iteration of the Patrol (the one that Dorothy leads and has most of the Way era characters added)

Week 2 Movie: The Seventh Seal By Ronnie Bitzer
The movie I watched was The Seventh Seal made by Ingmar Bergman created in 1957. The movie is significant to me because it shows how classical the movie is based on the genre of the film. In the eyes of other people who watched the film it shows great scenes of homage, parodies, and critical analysis of the film.Interesting facts about the Seventh Seal was the actor who played the knight Antonius block also played the priest in the movie "The Exorcist". Another fact about the Seventh seal was that it was filmed for over 35 days for only $150,000. The movie had mixed reviews since it was filmed in Sweden, but when the film started to travel overseas it became a critical success and won a Grand Jury Prize in a film festival.Bergman inspired making the Seventh Seal by visiting old churches as a child and being petrified by the idea of Death, and observing church murals and frescoes. Bergman's idea of the film was highly personal because of how he dealt with his fears, insecurities and his personal demons as a child. The movies similar to The Seventh Seal are Persona , Barry Lyndon and Rashomon because of how in each of these movies it shows the conflict of the main character and how he or she has hardships and has to deal with a fate with Death. The genre of the film "The Seventh Seal" was a drama/fantasy and I believed that is accurate for the film because it told the story about a medieval knight and how he imagined playing a game of chess with his perspective of Death who has come to taken the knights life and how each time they played chess Death has put a challenge in the knights life.
Many critics from the "Rotten tomatoes" say they like the film because of the indulging themes and how compelling the characters are. One critic wrote "Mr Bergman's objective in The Seventh Seal has been to achieve with the camera the simplicity and directness of a medieval muralist in recounting an immemorial mystery drama which touches the great issues of human experience. I agree with what the critic said because we all have issues of human experience and there is a way that we deal with all experiences because that is part of the growing experience we have as humans.Another critic who I didn't agree with what she said about the movie was she said"The magnificent craftsmanship, of course, I admit. But beneath the surface of the high-class, bony morality which has understandably attracted so much admiration there lurks what to me is a dreadful squashy sentimentality." I agree with her about the craftsmanship of the movie, but the movie has to have some sort of sentimental message and in the movie the knight was feeling sentimental to the family and him and the people around him have a choice to either save the family from Death or be with the family when Death comes for them.
When The Seventh Seal was made in 1957 in Sweden the polio vaccine first came out and Denmark had been vaccinating for two years and managed almost to vaccinate their entire population.
From the time the film came out Ingmar Bergman said "The Seventh Seal is one of the few films really close to my heart,". "I wrote this film to conjure up my own fear of dying." I felt this is pertaining to the film because Bergman created the film so viewers can understand Bergman's fear of dying.During the movie Bergman almost risk having his film labeled as a blunt cautionary tale heralding the potential vicinity of a nuclear holocaust. He wanted his movie to feel the atmosphere of peoples fear, their helplessness, rising of questions of their human existence and the frailness of life and the eternal question of god's existence which has been popular in times of trial and trouble. The conclusion of the film supports what Bergman wants to title his film and if he were to title the film similar to a nuclear holocaust then it would spark outrage and his main premise wouldn't make much sense to the viewers.
The look and feel of the film was envisioned of you being placed in Medieval Sweden in the middle of the plague. The general type of story is a knight returns to Sweden after the end of the Crusaders and seeks questions regarding life he meets death and plays chess with him to determine the knights fate. The characters in the movie represent Bergman's psyche while the knight represents our humanness in expressing different types of conflict that can interfere with our loved ones. When playing chess the knight has to face many parts of what he values as himself.
Tumblr media
The scene of Antonius Block playing chess with Death stood out to me because that how the story begins and each time Antonius and Death play chess it symbolizes more life and time for the knight to complete any of his wishes. Chess is being used as a metaphor for life if Antonius wins he lives, but if death wins he takes Antonius's life.
The scene stood out to me because it marks what happens at the beginning of the film and what happens at the end of the film.During the part of when Antonius and Jons both went to the church Jons was talking to a painter about what he's drawing and the painter told Jons that he is painting "The Danse Macabre" which translates to "The Parade of the Dead" and is lead by death and in the back is the fool. Towards the end of the movie Antonius realized he lost and death won, when Antonius and his group went to Jons castle they met up with Death and he took them since Antonius's fate has been decided.
The movie is set in the Middle Ages, at a time in Europe when the plague was ravaging across Europe. Religion was lost in ways due to the battle with paganism and disillusionment brought by the Crusaders. It also describes how a knight is to be doomed by the decision made by Death. The film was depicted through Hofstede's model by Indulgence Verses Restraint shown through the bar scene where the drunk villagers were taunting Jof until Jons came by and Jof was saved by him because he restrained the drunk villagers by limiting the fun they were having at Jof's expense.Another part was the Power Distance Index and how it shown in the movie the different types of power it played on the knights and the villagers. Shown in Lewi's model it showed the villagers and knights being linear-reactive.Through Tropeneer's Model it shows how the Swede's have a high individualism and how they work better independantly and how they are self-reliant. How the style of movie alligns with the elements show is seeing Death as a tangible presence and that he manifests himelf as a physical human form instead of being in a different form. How it is shown in the film is there is a silence from God and the horror of Death is coming and that there is no afterlife when you die. The Seventh Seal doesn't deal with Religion rather than a place of both God and Religion is in the human heart and in society. The world im seeing the film that is global is its English-subtitled but still using the Swedish language. If you are in a different contry it can be set to a different theme like it could be in color different languages can be played in the teather and the use of actors from different parts of the world. If I were to put the film and make it through my story I would keep Death and the premise, but the only thing I would change would be to add a school since if I were using Hofstede's model I picked Short Term Orientation Verses Long Term Orientation since having an education is important and my friends can still learn and have fun if we were to die like Antonius did in the film. The style of the film fits into national and international styles was they are using European film making so it can be enjoyable for the viewers. Bergman hired a production designer that created a set that corresponds with Bergman's visions shaped by his early memories.Although it is between realism and expressionism since the movie need to be done in a few days. The film would have to be conventional since the main character is a white male, there is a clear story of what is to be told and it is not too upsetting.Bergman said "I don't give a damn about the money." It was the success that made Bergman enabled to make The Seventh Seal. The Seventh Seal is easy to understand and clear through the dialogue and the plot of the movie. The pieces do fit well together because they talk about love, death, life, good and evil and how it fits for a medieval morality film. There are other movie similiar to The Seventh Seal, but they are movies I haven't seen. They may be similar due to the same plots, same use of background or themes or same director. The differences would be different time period the movies are set in different director and different plot or theme of the movie.

// So I've not had time to write longer things in a bit due to some really heavy irl things but, well, I now have a bit of time and a reason.
So. Moon Knight: City of the Dead isn't bad, even if it's very Scion in the design of what Du'at looks like. Which is fine! The idea that the underworld is a giant river, the waters of chaos, with hundreds of barges that sit atop it, is a cool idea!
And the idea that the various beings that make up the supporters of the Gods are of various moral persuasions is pretty cool too! The morality of the Ancient Egyptian religion isn't very similar to our own; for example at the time of judgement, the first thing you do is say all the things you didn't do. You begin your trial by declaring all the sins you didn't commit.
That's the end of the good. Here's the bad.
This idea they've come up with, that bad guys are putting off being fed to Ammit by using other people's hearts, namely children, makes no sense.
The heart is removed at the time of judgement. So ostensibly, they're putting the removed heart into their own bodies. But the problem is that they have to face down Anubis, the god of judgement.
Are you really telling me that Anubis can't tell who's heart he's looking at when he looks at it?
Not even just from a mythical point of view. A child's heart is smaller than an adult's heart. Are you claiming that a being who spends all of eternity looking at hearts can't tell the difference?
The idea that people are trying to cheat death by using someone else's heart could work, but it would require less stupidity.
First, it would require the use of adult hearts, preferably from good people, but the issue with this is that you've now written the plot of Grim Fandango, where people are cheating the Aztec gods by using other people's tickets to the underworld.
Suffice to say, the Aztecs and Egyptians are not the same cosmology wise!
