Pain and Panic with a touch-starved S/O~!

Pain~!

It's not that Pain has an AVERSION to touch, but he certainly isn't used to the soft kind -- the tender, loving kind that most people tend to enjoy

Not very surprising, given his boss and his tendency to get himself into trouble- so upon meeting you, I doubt the idea of physical affection would even cross his mind

He can tell that you're lonely, sure -- in his mind you wouldn't be hanging around him if you weren't -- but the notion of you being touch-starved would fly over his head at first

He'd only really connect the dots, the cogs visibly turning in his head, after a good few occurrences, watching you react strangely to even the smallest of gestures

He's the type to give friendly pats on the back, or light nudges with his elbow whilst making an awful, corny little quip. When he sees you flinch or stare or blush, he'd be very confused

And then very understanding.

"... So, uhh... did your mom hug you enough as a kid??"

He doesn't mean it to be rude, honest! If anything, he feels a little bad -- he holds his arms out, in a 'bring it in' type motion, and wraps you up in a little squeeze

From then on, he makes more of an effort to wrap his little arm around your shoulder, pulling you close, or leaning his head up against your side. More hugs, more soothing touches

He's a little softie really <3

Panic~!

You cannot TELL me this man is not severely touch starved himself

He's so nervous, so easily frightened -- absolutely the type to cling to the nearest person when something's spooked him

Squeaking and crawling himself into your arms, clinging tight, hiding his face in the nape of your neck

You have no choice but to hold him! Regardless of how anxious it makes you

He holds the embrace for a little longer than necessary, before blushing, and stammering out a mumbled string of apologies, forcing himself to pry away from you

You'd have to let HIM know you enjoyed it -- he's not nearly bold enough to make a guess like that on his own

He might not even believe it at first, giggling wildly and giving you a friendly nudge, praising you for a joke you didn't make

Once he gets it through his head, though, he is CLINGY

He's a massive fan of holding hands, intertwining his pointy little fingers in yours whenever he gets the opportunity, squeezing your hand and holding it close to him

Every time he does he's shaky and giddy, but god it makes him so happy

He'd also love snuggling himself up under your arm for cuddles
