Seen a lot of people bring up Astarion’s habit of looking off to the side when he’s lying or when he’s finally being genuine or other things like that. But you know what other character habit I love? Wyll and his fucking throat clearing. He says the corniest thing or accidentally over shares and he goes “…ahem…” and abruptly stops talking. I love him. He’s so silly. And I never want him to stop talking like nooo keep embarrassing yourself it’s so cute. I think he does it because he’s been kinda on his own for 7 years and sort of forgets how to talk to people. That coupled with growing up always having to watch what he says because he’s nobility but also the fact that his grandfather was a blacksmith and his father wasn’t born into that life so he probably felt like him and his father had to be even more careful around other nobles and had to think and overthink about his words and actions. And then he’s saying shit like “I have spikes growing in places they shouldn’t be” and DIES inside realizing what he just said. I love him.

Macklemore has stated that once the track drops on streaming, all proceeds from streams will be going directly to UNRWA— the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East.

The new tracks namesake Hind’s Hall echoes the honours that Columbia University encampment protestors bestowed the Morningside Heights campus’ Hamilton Hall— in memory of Hind Rajab, the 6 year old Palestinian girl in Gaza who was shot by Israeli soldiers after being trapped inside a vehicle, with her dead family. She had begged to be rescued as tanks closed in on her.

Macklemore using his platform to vehemently speak out against genocide, the Israeli occupation and United States-led violence is what every single artist should be doing right now. The power of art should not be underestimated. Macklemore started out in the Hip-Hop scene within communist circles, namely working alongside Blue Scholars, and has never neglected his Leftism through out his career: the artist has spoken on issues regarding mental health, addiction, racial profiling and police violence, Capitalism, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights and toxicity of American culture.
